The doctors he uses seem more skilled than the usual for places I've use just for cleaning and fillings. The place can do crowns in a day if in a hurry I've not found him cheap but satisfied with the work.

Recommended one highly on Pattaya Nua up from the bus station same side told trained in USA iI checked it out prices just for cleaning surely reflects. My brother recently took his Thai wife to Bangkok Pattaya Hospital Dental division for whatever reason since last he use local offices on the Darkside which I also but only for cleaning and fillings. The doctors said prior work was done all wrong but one look at their qualification majority Thais Doctors trained at Khon Kean Uni. Personally I have a real mistrust for this hospital that they would do or say a thing to make a baht prices high even for basic cleaning. Ten year past I try their cleaning promotional price 1500 baht the procedure was the same if I went to a hole in the wall.

Air fare might have come down but was still nosebleed compared to before Corona given the time of the year.

Some hotels seem to be sold out during the weekends but are available for good prices otherwise.

In Soi6 the girls still tend to come up with any quote you can imagine. When I innocently ask them how much they want, they'll come up with prices from 1000 to 3000 bath. Most seem keen on 1500.1200 or sometimes 1000 works with some. Other than the Soi 6 bars that's not an ideal place to be- close to the beach so all prices are higher. No strategic value.

Soi Pothole area has some decent GC's and BB bars- Maggie Mays, etc. LK Metro has GoGo's that are less overpriced than walking street and some so so ST bars.

Off of Buakhao is Soi Boomerang which also has a handful of decent GC's.

Soi Honey is massage etc. I don't mess with it.

A good bet is to stay at Areca Lodge for a few days, get the lay of the land, and then move to something a little less expensive but still near- Vogue hotel, Harry's, Sutus Court. If you are intent on staying near Soi 6 try Pattaya Blue Sky.

As for mongering- I would start with the GC's in BongKot, Boomerang and near Pothole during the day (3-4 ish), then have a TF girl come over for ST- and if she flakes or afterwards, go to Soi Pothole or LK Metro. The next day substitute one of these options with Soi 6, and then rinse and repeat. You'll be good.

IAll the years I lived here when it comes to Pattaya it isn't the same anywhere in the country from my experience or hearing even in Bangkok which is restricted to 3 days.

You mentioned the dates 13-15, the reason for the festival is when it starts inside Pattaya, particularly on Beach road and Second Rd. You will get soaked in that location. That weekend is the start it will continue on and off you do not know when and where but someone will be throwing water. The 18th is when it is all out throughout Pattaya's East and West sides, from Jomtien to Naklua same with Sukhumvit. They party it up at Bang Sean on the 18th, in the past the 19th, Sukhumvit led into Pattaya from Pattaya Nua all the way to Theppasit the road would stop and go.

If you miss those dates the last and final day is down south Bang Saray the 20th.

Last December on my first trip, I stayed at Areca. It was the most central place that I could find. However, I did not visit LK Metro, pothole, or boomerang all that much.

The most fun I had was on soi 6, but having to walk down the road to Second to catch the bus then walk a bit more to catch another bus after it hits walking, I found that too cumbersome.

Next time I visit, I am either going to stay closer to the 6 (by Altrea), or perhaps between Central road and the mall. At least that way, it is one bus with no transfer to get to / from the 6 or walking.

Last December on my first trip, I stayed at Areca. It was the most central place that I could find. However, I did not visit LK Metro, pothole, or boomerang all that much.

The most fun I had was on soi 6, but having to walk down the road to Second to catch the bus then walk a bit more to catch another bus after it hits walking, I found that too cumbersome.

Next time I visit, I am either going to stay closer to the 6 (by Altrea), or perhaps between Central road and the mall. At least that way, it is one bus with no transfer to get to / from the 6 or walking.

Though TBH because of the distance to the 6, I took the bus there once. Every time after, I used bolt. What is $3-4 for a ride in an aircon car ride after spending $1400 on a plane ticket. Pocket change. Literally.Sweet Honey Hotel.
