I was winding up the night at Kink Agogo on LK Metro in early May, about midway through a 9-day Pattaya visit, the first I had been back in a decade. That location was quieter than expected with most of the bar complex below closed for renovations. Sitting on the streetside terrace at breakfast (great buffet with different Thai dishes every day, allowing me to sample the local fare while indulging in pub food and Hunger Pangs' mouth-watering burgers for dinner), I looked over at the old-school bars across the street (The Flintstones Bar's name probably does not resonate with many these days! Giving a glimpse of Pattaya's charmingly unglamorous and kitschy past.

I didn't have ambitious plans for my first night, and looked for options close to home. From YouTube the Buzz was that among the week's activities was a party at Shooters Bar on Soi 7 that night. Defining nightlife venues in Pattaya can be confounding; with girls dancing on a stage I'm not sure how Shooter's isn't considered an agogo, but no matter, the place is pure fun. It was a costume night, with nurses, schoolgirls, and policewomen, among others up on the small stage strip and mingling with the guests.

One of the best things about Flipper Lodge's location, besides the great sunset views, was the easy access to the nightly Beach Road freelancer market. PART 2: Pattaya. Part 1 is in Bangkok thread. I was in total for about 3 weeks in Pattaya on 2 separate parts of the trip. First time in pattaya was just after BKK, second time was my last part in Thailand. I stayed both times very close to Subway intersection on Soi Boukhao. Which is a fantastic location.

Oh boy. I don't even know where to start. My plan before coming was to go to Soi 6 every day. Since for months I was watching videos of all those Soi6 videos on YT. I also watched almost every guide from Everyday Pattaya YT. Dude really drops so much knowledge about Pattaya it's insane. My plan before coming there was 1. Soi 6, 2. Gentlements Clubs, 3. Walking street.

First time I was in Pattaya I went every night for the following route. Soi 6 for drink or two, fuck one girl in the room above, go to Walking street to get something to eat, grab a few drinks in few bars in Walking street. Then go home either with bath bus or walking looking for a late night massage.

Both time I was in Pattaya I fucked in total I would guess around 15 girls in Soi6. Every bar I went to has short time rooms for 400 baht or maybe a little less. They all asked for 1500ST, I just smiled and said 1200ST. They all accepted that except one. She asked for 1500ST and wouldn't budge. But in retrospect. She clearly did not like me, I was just too stupid to understand that then. About their looks. You definitely have to pick between the uglies that jump at you. But there are pretty decent looking girls. With some you can even have a simple conversation. But to be honest most interesting part about them is fucking them upstairs. Almost all gave me excellent service. BBJ, CIM, Covered FS. Out of those 15 girls. I only had 1 bad experience with one girl that called me literally for days every time I walked. And I finally came to fuck her. And idk what the fuck happened in bed. But she almost started crying while I was fucking her. And somehow we simply ended up in my hotel. I never paid her for LT, she never asked. But I did pay for drinks night before, and morning after she took me to some "bar" where here friend worked. So I guess that was payment. Highly recommend walking home at night during closing hours on the road parallel to beach road (Sai Song I think), the one where baht buses drive to Terminal 21 direction. As one great man said "Drive slow homie, you never know home, you might meet some hoes homie". I was walking one night at 3 AM to my hotel to sober up since I don't normally drink. And massage girl grabbed me inside and took me upstairs for massage. Everything around was closed, and we were alone upstairs so she offered to fuck me. I was so surprised that I of course accepted. She asked how much I would give her. I said 2000, but in retrospect I was stupid. Could've said 1000. We used a condom she had. But it was laughably small for me, so she said quickly take it off, and I fucked her bareback. I aint stopping at that point even if God came from the heavens. First and only time I barebacked a girl in Thailand. CIM ofc. It's memorable to me because it looked like a completely normal legit massage place, girl was even in those traditional massage girl robes. But they do fuck there. It's so relaxing, naked girls sit next to you while you drink, most of them even speak decent english and can hold a conversation. I learned a lot about Thailand in general from them. Only thing that maybe ruined my experience was that this part of the trip was just before Big Buddha. So I don't know how many girls left Pattaya for home during that period and how that affected availability. I tried Soi Bongkot and I think it's shit personally. Most of them were closed, I went to one club. All girls were pretty ugly and not interested. I went to Amsterdam GC. There was literally only one girl there, small thing, I ended up fucking her upstairs. Decent rooms, decent experience. BBJ, CIM, Covered FS. I can't for the life of me remember how much it costed. I guess around 2000 for the girl, and "pizza" (that's how it says room on receipt) is 300. I don't know if I came at a wrong time. Because Big Buddha was very soon. But my advice is to avoid Soi bongkot. I went to some other GCs not in Soi Bongkot after. I don't mention them, because I don't want to be too negative. But let's just say two key words. Old and fat.

After that I went to Soi Pothole. And I tried Highrollers and Den. Den was empty from customers, I took one girl for 2000ST I think. But I really don't remember anything about that, really unmemorable. Except the room which has 16 m2 shower. Wtf. High rollers looks incredible inside. Best decor I've seen, and pretty good atmosphere. Problem is that only 2 girls there are actually fuckable by my standards. One is younger sweet thing, and second one is. Oh boy. I took the second one, we agreed 2000ST and 400 room across the street. Jesus christ. That girl is something else. She is definitely top 3 of my Thailand experiences. We literally started fucking maniacally as we got into the room, she jumped all over me, she likes harder fucking, we didn't even close the curtains. Anyone could see us. I spent way too much time and money just sitting there and drinking with the girls, kissing them, fingering them, licking their tits, getting lapdances. I don't want to go into too much details because it is incredibly easy to doxx myself by telling my experiences there. But let's just say I tried 5 ladies upstairs, all DKF, BBJ, CIM, covered FS, 2000ST, room is 400 I think, all great experience. I don't remember how much is the actual room since I ran up the bill every time to 2-3 k just for the drinks. All the girls speak pretty decent english, can hold a conversation, I had drinks with at least 15 ladies there. Few at a time. None of them are pushy, when they bring you a drink. I definitely recommend Pattaya for mongering. Soi 6 and Gentlements clubs especially. I didn't even try normal beer bars. Didn't have time, didn't try Tree Town bars either. One thing I fucked up was not going to the clubs and ibar more and taking advantage that I'm in my 20's and getting freelancers there. Also, I don't believe there are "normal" girls in Pattaya. Only p4 p.

One thing I do have to say is. If you are weak mentally or not disciplined. I advise you all to stay the fuck away from Pattaya. This city will most definitely chew you up if you are weak. First time I was there. I felt I was in complete control. But second time I definitely went overboard. I don't regret it. But I'm also glad my visa was running out. Also. If anyone here is under 30 I highly recommend them coming here for some time. I don't know how to to say this more respectfully. Seeing some farangs in Pattaya. It made me go to the gym, work harder on my business. And generally motivated me to try harder in life. It's kinda eye opening when you see consequences of many bad life choices in a row in real life. Of course. Don't trust my word. Make your own decisions.

I'm wondering if there's a short term hotel someone could recommend that's a bit nicer than a typical short term hotel, but still not as expensive as a regular hotel. I will stay maybe 6 hours and have two girls, one early in the stay and then one later. I miss TF in Pattaya and plan to invite a couple girls to the hotel. I don't want it to be gross, but I also don't want to spend full hotel price when I'm already paying for the other hotel.

It depends on your budget, goals and personal preferences. BKK is a bit more expensive than Pattaya. I went for a extended weekend (Fri till Sun). But I would not recommend that. Too crowded. Try Mon. To Wed. Or similar. Weekend can be very busy in BKK. So, three days approx. For me. Went to visit what Pho and the Grand Palace, plus Nana Plaza.

I like the Sea and Beachlife of Pattaya / Jomtien. BKK is too big, too busy, whereas in Pattaya everything is at walking distance.

Bkk Phuket return ticket was approx 2000 to 2500 THB, around same money I pay for BKK Airport to Pattaya 2 ways to my beach road hotel. Honestly guys, I have splurged the maximum on my trip out of the three in 8 months and it was the best. My team handled my work well in my absence. I did a lot of things which I do not do at all in New Delhi; Yes, I am an Indian. Did have my 2 drinks there as was enjoying the music and conversing with a businessman who happened to be there for 3 days, his first trip to Pattaya. I spent my maximum time in Insomania, Lucifer and Republik. Only farangs visit them and there were hardly any guys especially in Lucifer and Republik. Republik is the cheapest and good as I had my 4 JDs with coke on my last night there and spent 2 hours. The manager took good care of me as I was there for 2 nights and he recognized me and informed that he had seen me umpteen times in Tony bar on my last 2 trips. Ibar you get a 50% discount if you happen to order a drink before 11 PM from Mon to Thu. I got my bills raised at the counter myself and encashed them even after 11 PM as I did not know about their offer beforehand. I do Love the music and ambiance of that Bar.

I picked up 2 new chicks, one from Club Raas and another one from Insomania. The IBar chick quoted me 2 K for full night and honestly I did not believe or trust her. I then asked her as to what time she would go back and she said 2 noon. Oh my god, I was not all keen to hold her till 2 PM. Soi 7&8 are slowing coming back to life so that made staying there so much better. Last year not too many bars open, this year more bars are open and yes, many with older talent but gems are to be found. One example, my friend and I were kicking back in the lobby when this hot chick comes out of the elevator and walks across the street to the bar. She gets snatched up by a customer and me and my friend are saying we'll get her tomorrow. After that day, we never saw her again. Just older chicks at that bar. The bars around the hotel are pretty cheap and many had live bands playing. Didn't pull any girls from any gogo's but did take some from the gentlemens club. First was Passions. After spending my initial week in Thailand I made the BtS ride to Ekkamai and boarded a bus for Thailand. Bus ride cost is 131 baht.

The bus was half empty at prime time. It was a quick smooth ride down to Pattaya as the seat next to me was empty. Happy to save 1,000 baht not taking a taxi.

It's always a good feeling when you first arrive in Pattaya, it's just so different than BKK, I love it.

My first day consisted of getting settled in and walking around the old stomping grounds of CF and Buakho.

Price for foot massage in BKK is 300 baht HR. Price for foot massage in Buakho is 100-150 baht HR; man I love Pattaya.

I had a one night hotel stay at a hotel that I stayed at for around two weeks last year. Last year the hotel cost on average 20-25 usd a night, now it's in the $40 range.

The rest of my stay in Pattaya I'm using hotel reward points for a hotel that is normally around 40 usd a night; nice to be able to use that 40 usd saved for ST or massages.

On day 2, I checked in to my new hotel and strolled down Buakho, a slightly chubby, round faced, braces wearing gal summoned me over. Something about her was just cute. Her name was Beam. She said oil massage, 200 baht one hour. I said "have special massage na". She didn't understand and so asked her better English speaking colleague the meaning. Revenge Travel is real.I agree, I think this coming High Season is going to be shit, Thai tourism is in for a rude awakening, specifically Pattaya and monger tourists. The global recession will hit eventually and travel numbers will come down, even in the US. Saw a statistic that 40 percent of US adults have less than $1,000 saved up LOL.

I've stayed at two Red Planets in Bangkok, they're good value. But in Pattaya you can pay like $10 more and get much nicer accomodation, albeit not so central like the Red Planet Pattaya.

The hotel prices are odd. I guess it's the Thai logic thing, not enough tourists so increase prices to make up the difference. Once my stay with points ends, I'll likely head to a cheaper city in Thailand for nicer and cheaper accomodation, especially if I find a lady worth taking with me.

I think the weekends a lot of Thais from bkk come down to party and travel. Monday got noticeably quieter in Pattaya. The hotel staff confirmed that weekdays tend to be less busy. My hotel went from being buzzing on the weekend to being pretty dead during the week thus far.

Haven't hit up beach road freelancers, GCs or any bars; it's been all TF and massage shops for me thus far. I took a stroll down soi 6 yesterday for the first time, crap ton of ladies but little mongers. I'the say ten percent of the ladies were worth a bar fine with maybe only five total being really attractive. Room prices are 400 and lady prices ranged from 1,000 to 1,500; so you are looking at anywhere from 1,400 to 1,900 total to take a lady upstairs. Just not good value given the lack of quality. Out here main roads would include Soi Siam, Nern pludwan, Soi Khao Noi, and Soi Khao Talo. The reference of the Soi by E is spelled incorrectly I believe might be Soi Tungkom Talang in correct is South of Sukhumit left side into Soi 89, This road in length is about 6 KM, There are places that open daily and close daily.

Not blowing my horn but I used to cycle daily out here and once did a review and map for a guy on the PA site with bars on the dark side I would update him yearly. But since Covid with places closing by the hour, what was the point of an update? Many of the best places are located on the top portion of Soi Khao Talo, these places are pretty much like places on Soi Boomerang. When reference to Thai owned majority of them are owned by former bar girls. Some of the outdoor bars enclosed are farang back with a front of a Thai lady. In all my years, I've not been confronted by any Thai man at any of these places or had to watch one sit nearby.

There was a time when Nernpludwan had a number of bars today barely a handful, one in mind is Red Bar still open. Many farangs out here get big heads and want to own a bar easy to do, but realize after a few months the money isn't so small when they start to kick out 50,000 plus a month and bring in zero. When they open it is packed party it up then when the friends leave driving by one can predict the end. A few still operate and you never see anyone inside, they are laundering money or in a backroom gambling house. There are two such places on Nernpludwan, I met one years ago a farang who purchased it for his ex-wife said to give her some business got some nice-looking girls inside Even with my low standards I nearly threw up there were a few young kids outside playing with their phones I ask the wife what's up with that, protection because she running a gambling house upstairs. I told the Farang to tell your wife to decide if the club is for fucking or gambling get the punks out if it is fucking.

Today, just off Nernpludwan there is still one place worth visiting and that is Aqua Demi, has a pool and ST rooms in the back a really nice setup 15 years ago it was packed, especially on Sundays. Girls used to dance naked and swim in the nude. There are a number of places on Soi Khao Talo, past the Gym and Siam Puri food store. One lady owner has been there for years she passes drugs out of her place. Otherwise, there aren't really any notable places There are a number of outdoor bars on surrounding Soi not worth mentioning open today and closing tomorrow.

Out of Siam near the Taco House Soi 27? There are two GCs named Rt. 66 and Darkside that look interesting but never any sitting outside but at times loads of bikes.

One place I've wanted to try for a long time on Nernpludwan a Thai Karaoke club from 9 pm on have from a distant best looking girls in the area. I don't venture on the Darkside too close to home never know if I might run into a neighbor. Out to the Lake don't bother but if you stay a long time can ride a big it is worth looking into in the old days I found some of the best GF experiences out here but if you are looking young don't bother.

I had my first ever trip to Thailand last January-February and I really expected it to be slow and barren after reading a lot of the doom and gloom (the global economy slowing down is hurting tourism!) reports here. Maybe it wasn't as busy as previous high seasons, but Bangkok and Pattaya were absolutely PACKED. I would take reports stating that Thailand is going to be hurting and slow with a grain of salt. People have been saying that for a long time on here it seems, but Walking Street was still packed, bars were packed, malls were packed, etc.

I'the love for things to slow down as I hate crowds, but let's be honest with our reports, fellas. The crowds of Chinese and Koreans are still very much flooding the streets of Bangkok and Pattaya, particularly for high season. I bet you could even watch YouTube videos / streams that will confirm this. I am going again this December and I'll report back.

Bottom line: mongers can skip Thai bars, and Darkside Farang bars, and stick to Pattaya.
