Just curious. You have never had a 25k Baht bar bin? Really? Not even 1 time? Never. Not even close. I have been chastised for playing connect 4 in Pattaya with some ladies and buying them drinks by the Ultra Cheep Charlies. But in no time have I dropped that much coin in one bar. To be fair; I don't have that type of cash to burn anyway and if you guys saw how Fat I am you would wonder how I am able to fly in Economy aka Cattle class. I'll stick with my Soy 6 and Beachroad value meal dates. For $750 I think that would last me 8-10 days over there along with food and tips to the waiters / ladies and chamber maids.
Sometimes cheaper is actually more fun: Have you hung out at that Bar on the opposite side of Beach road - by the end of Soy 6 - I think it is Corner Bar or close to Corner Bar - cheap park benches and 1982 Audio Electronics. Lovely place! Cheap Beer and I get to watch the ladies at HollyWood , etc. and talk with the pattrons who - mysteriously like Garfields in Angeles City PI claim they are ex Special Forces Military - MI6 or CIA and have amazing stories. Great Vibe and Friendly. I think I paid 500 Baht Tip to the Bar a few times here because they let me sit my fat ass down and rest between Upstairs Sessions with the girls from nearby bars. That's big spending from me. And I honestly had a great time. I don't think I would be able to cum if I spent more than 7,000 THB / $250 in one night - because to me - it is just not necessary.

I posted that I only mention it when I am making an offer to a Thai Friendly girl. In the bar it just happens with the girl. I have fun with her in the bar. Take her for ST or LT and I get BBFS CIP. But we're not all like you, I make a point in checking all the drinks I pay for and always ask them to fill the Sangsom Cola with a lot of Sangsom.
It's a way for me to rate the bar too, if I see they refuse to do it, I know it's a sh*t bar and would never come back. But this is mostly happening around Buakhao, soi 6 bars have always gladly followed my requests.
It's even part of the fun when you see the girl's face each time she takes a sip of her drink accompanied with the comments she makes to the bartender.
My practice is to use some common sense in using condoms or not.
It really depends on my knowing how many customers or boyfriends she goes with.

The worst thing that can happen to a punter in Pattaya is taking a drunk bar girl home and watching her puke all night without getting any. Thats why I could care less what she drinks. Just enough to be tipsy is best for me. Often the girls I hang out with in the bars drink a combo of tequila shots, tequila rose shots, sangsong and coke, and orange juice. Yes, all the shots are watered down 50/50. I usually order a few pizzas for the girls and it keeps their stomachs full so they can absorb the alcohol.

Almost 60 days in, with 15 trips to Soi 6 and ZERO girls from Soi 6. I won't budge from my 1000-1500 max excluding room. Sure, there are lots of girls offering 1500, but none are up to my standards or to my personal taste. So looks like it will be a complete ZERO for Soi 6 this trip.

If you want to experience a great go go away from the tourist stricken walking street, this is the place to go. Cozy little go go on the corner of Soi Bukao and Soi Boomerang. The talent in this place is really great. I always sit in the VIP seating to the left as you walk in, in the far corner. They have great VIP drink and food packages starting at 4000 Baht up to 6995 baht. You get two bottles, one whisky and one wine or champaign and some fruit snacks and nuts. I got to say fellas, I'm mainly a Bangkok guy, and hope to return to Bangkok some day, but going through the Pattaya forum here just a few pages back and right away it seems way raunchier and wilder. I've always been curious about the Pimp in Bangkok, but that's a bit too much for my financial taste. But reading how some of these gentlemen club style places in Pattaya are considerably more cost effective than Bangkok, maybe I can get my experience in Pattaya instead. Birth rates in Thailand have been declining for decades, at the same time Thailand has become more affluent. So less girls with more choices. Also less girls, less pretty girls.Not sure if I buy that for being the reason. The bars are still jam packed with girls just not good looking ones. If you are in this agreement with 7-10 girls in the same club, it then gets ridiculous. You will be spending at one club 1500-2000 on drinks just for them to say "Hi. " Remember there is no friendships here, it's all transactional if they know you are long stay.

I'd last been in Thailand in 2018. Was there in 2017 and 2016 as well. But this time around the scene appears to have completely died. If its better or worse well that depends per person and their ability to adopt to these changes?
Fact: since covid there is a major shift in demographics of the tourist in Thailand that have a HUGE impact on the city.
* Less Westerns and more couples / families of western countries.
* The rise of Asian tourist (arab / indian).
* More koreans who go there for a long weekend (just a few hour flight) who just have a different spend behaviour than most westerns.
* Increase in salaries after covid (due to lack of girls in 2022 - higher salaries - higher barfines - higher prices for LD).
* We now even see an increase in kickback for drinks (from 50 THB precovid to 100 THB now in Pinup as an example).
The effect on someones holiday is of course depending on what he does?
If you are into freelancers / Thaifriendly / beachroad or whatever you won't find a big impact. You can still find enough girls for the precovid prices and there are plenty of girls.
