He's probably changed the plan again. The first plan was to have the pool table up there.I saw the 2 videos. First one when the work was far from finished had the pool table upstairs. Cannot imagine it was hauled up there unless that was its intended destination. Now it's downstairs and the second EP video does show couches with curtains. Don't understand why the owner of Catflaps (who also owns MMs) would not want to replicate and put rooms in MMs. Maybe just too little space. Here's a summary of my first trip to Pattaya. I've been to Bangkok and many other places around the world so I'm not new to the hobby.

I've had my best fun with TF girls. Paid 2000-2500st each time. Had a total of 4 straight to my hotel. 3 were great, 1 was weird so I kicked out and just gave her 120 baht for the trouble.

500 room fee + 1500st + 195 worth of drinks.

2195 baht total for a comfortable room and a good looking, friendly 20 yo girl. No rush, no clock watching.

As far as being "cheap" and being a "one drink guy" well I think the bars need to offer more if they want more money. They offer nothing to me other than to collect some girls in the same location. They lost the advantage they had in the pre-smart phone days.

I will always be a 1-lady drink guy in the bars and if things aren't going to go how I want. I will leave.

And it has nothing to do with "being able to afford it."

Buying a single LD is not being cheap at all. I think it's the norm. Personally, I will buy a 2nd drink to get more time to assess the girl (yes I'm slow) or come back another day. When other customers are buying drinks, that creates an opportunity for some guys to come in, buy 1 drink and do a ST. If the girls have made their drink quota or are close to it, they won't mind and won't push you to buy lady drinks. I think my previous post and this one are very clear. If you don't like being pressured to buy drinks, don't go to a "bar" LOL. Go to a massage place. A bar is a bar. The lack of customers is being compensated by bars with higher drinkprices (LD), "VIP Packages" because it fits indeed their business model but NOT the interest of their customer base. So more guys go to TF and all. What makes the situation for bars even worse (because frankly they can't switch their business model. Prostitution is still not exactly legal).

We do agree on the outcome (don't buy a drink of a girl don't ST / LT). We just look at it from another perspective (bar vs customers).

I just finished 5 day Pattaya trip. You are correct that most farang are "white trash" variety but please don't compare them to Indians. I am speaking from personal experience. Indians are uncultured, rude, zero self awareness, no manners and I could go on and on. This may change over time but currently Thais do not like Indians. Also 95% of Indians you see in Pattaya are poor.

I know only money matters to these girls and Indians aren't the once with money in Pattaya. Indians are creating their own subculture in Pattaya so they may not be aware of what Thais thinks of them.

I read here that the quality of the women in the bars and the streets of Pattaya is mediocre (although so called diamonds in the rough are clearly present). I am going to Pattaya for the first time, althogh I have been to BKK at least a dozen times.

In Bkk, I am fond of Thaifriendly because I can choose pretty girl freelancers and ask them to list the services they provide. This is not a fool proof system in BKK (because some girls are liars), but I usually try and arrange one TF girl for one nut / per night, and try and find a second or even a third girl at a bar, a massage parlor or a dance place during the daylight hours (although my favorite places, like Insanity, have closed down). I will add that although its not 100% certain, any girl from a "legitimate" massage parlor who agrees to come to your hotel room to give you a massage can probably be convinced to provide special services for a few thousand extra baht. With this in mind, I will occasionally pass a "legit" massage place where a beautiful woman is working, and I will ask her to give me a massage in my hotel room. I have never failed to get FS. What I never do is go to Soi Cowboy or Nana to find girls. I don't enjoy the atmosphere in the gogo bars there.

The day after New Years Eve was surprisingly dead, with a lot of bars closed, at least on Soi Chaiyapoon.

But Singapore has one of the lowest income tax rates with a max rate of 15% and no tax on capital gains and dividends. Most locals pay well below 10%. Plus locals get super subsidized housing. So in fact there is a good amount of disposable income here. Especially amongst young people who live with their parents until they get married, sometimes well into their 30's. THey have no actual expenses so even a $4 K per month salary with low taxes allows a lot of shopping trips to Bangkok.
