This might sound crazy but have you considered returning to the bar and buying Fai a drink for her honestly? Many girls would have made up a bullshit excuse and just done a runner. I've never had a girl return a BF.

I did have a similar episode where a girl drank way to much and just blacked out drunk. Her friend had to carry her home. The two occasions I have decided I wanted a "party" involved 3 girls on one occasion (Bangkok) and 4 girls on another (Spain). I'm afraid once you've had the thrill of getting them into the room and naked, and you are naked, they know full well that you cannot control them all and it can develop into mayhem.

Always though location Soi Honey for a place to serve burgers and steaks never seen more than a handful of customers which makes one think FRESH? Owners are Thai and Japanese also own GoGo on WS, old Pacal location across from Tantra. Compare to the crowds at Prime Burger.

I also like my burgers to be more traditional with letture, tomato, onions maybe lack of customers meat spoiling.

I can't speak for what might have changed recently. But the assertion that prostitution is illegal in Thailand comes up every now and then, I question it and provide the links to the above that to my reading never say a word about a consensual act of prostitution between adults age 18 or above being illegal in Thailand and so far I have not seen a citation stating otherwise.

However, as I allowed, I could certainly be wrong about that if some new spin on the law has been added recently.

The Code does state forcing someone to engage in prostitution is illegal. As is someone other than the prostitute raking off money for it, such as a pimp, a boss, parent, boyfriend, husband or other authority figure who might have applied undue coercion to engage in prostitution. And, of course, engaging in it with someone under age 18. Also, creating a public nuisance out of pitching a P4 P exchange, like when the sidewalks get so full of street girls that happily married couples and church ladies can't wade through them comfortably to get to their hotels and drinking bars.

But the mere act of consenting adults paying and accepting money for sex? I have not yet seen that in a Thai Penal / Criminal Code nor have I read or seen any report of anyone getting arrested and charged with a crime for doing it in Thailand.

So this will be my first trip to Thailand. I am choosing Pattaya in November for my birthday, but I am also bringing my dad. As others have noted, renting a villa is not a good idea because you'll be located FAR from the action. First timers usually finding lodging in the central part of town. Say, in a 1,500 meter radius around Central Festival Mall. There is a separate forum with Pattaya hotel reviews. You'll find lots of information there. You can also rent condos via Airbnb. But beware that many of the condos for rent are VERY small, in some cases about 30 square meters. Too cramped for you and your dad. I don't know your lodging budget, but you should be able to book a couple of nice connecting rooms at any of the major hotels and be close the naughty boy haunts with plenty of room to relax.

I'll also concur with the guys who recommend against having multiple girls hanging around all the time. You won't be able to leave them unsupervised, so one of you will always have to chaperone. Pattaya is a compact beach town with plenty of things to keep you amused day and night, by yourselves or with company. If you hunker down in a villa or some other lodging you'll miss out. Far better, it seems to me, to make the rounds of the places discussed at great length in this forum. If you find somebody you fancy, it won't take long to duck out to your hotel. (Or even to take care of business on site.) Rinse and repeat, taking breaks as necessary for father-and-son time, meals, hanging out on the beach, etc.

Here is the real scoop. Tourist areas like LK Metro, Walking street and Soi 6 are very busy these days. Other areas like Tree Town, Soi Pothole, Soi Made, Myth and Soi Boomerang are still struggling, as well as the bars further down Soi Bukao. They will have the odd good night but business is not consistent. One or two bad days for every good day. Play Girlz was completely dead last night. But a few bars, such as Maggie Mays and Buzzin Lounge are still going strong. Cat Flaps and Kinaree are always steady with the local expats and same with Soi Bonchot. While I was in Soi 6 Friday, the girls were focussing on the Asian customers hoping for a big pay day, that most farangs won't give them. There are tons and tons of ladies here and if some are hooked up with holiday boyfriends there are still plenty of ladies to go around. If you don't have a TF premium account you will find it hard to navigate as the girls are busier and won't be scrolling back looking at older messages they missed and unless you get them online and get lucky, its a bit of a crap shoot. Try to get their lines and talk to them outside the app.

Alright figured it's time I write a little about my trip. I'll make a full report sometime in the next few days. I visited Pattaya for the first time this past November for a couple of weeks, and boy am I utterly impressed. I've traveled to Colombia and other South American countries many times before, but nothing compares to Thailand, or at least Pattaya.

My first day there I was very tired from the flights, almost 2 days worth of flying and layovers had me really beat. Got onto my transport at the airport in BKK through Nam's Lady Drivers, and slept for half the trip. Got to the hotel in Pattaya just before 4 PM local time. Took a nice and long shower and immediately headed over to Honey Body Massage on Soi Honey, near where I stayed. This massage opened my eyes. I have never experienced anything like it before. The woman I chose wasn't all that great in the looks department once she took off her dress, but she was good at massaging. After this, I went to eat some pad Thai, then took a walk around LK Metro and Soi Pothole, took a dive into Maggie Mays but all the good looking women were taken. Had a beer and left. At this point I was extremely tired and the massage only made my body need more sleep, especially for a bed after the grueling flights in Economy class. Headed over to a 7-11 and picked up some snacks and small necessities and then got back to my room to knock out.

I woke up around 10 AM the next day, had breakfast at a British pub and took a walk around exploring Central Festival, the Bazaar, and had a foot massage that was amazing. Had late lunch and then just relaxed for a bit. After nightfall I finally visited Soi 6, and my mind was completely and utterly blown. This was it, gentlemen. The videos I had watched on YouTube did not prepare me as much as I thought they would.

I have never had as much fun as I had had in Pattaya. It completely blows everything else out of the water, at least from what I know. I'm young, late 20's, so I still have much of the world to see, but it will be hard to top this. As I said, I'll write up more details of my short trip later. I did not partake much in Walking Street, just a quick tour to see it for myself and that was it.

And I've already booked my next trip, though this time it will be for 3 entire weeks in Thailand, even after counting travel time, which is admittedly the worst part of the trip, as I live in the US. Unfortunately, that also means I will have to wait almost a year for my next trip, but it's well worth the wait in my opinion.

- Is lady drink mandatory? Or even I want to ask- is it a must to order beer, for myself even if I don't drink. What else can a teetotaler like me order in a beer bar?

- how to differentiate between a girl and lady boys. Last time I found that there are too many lady boys which are not easily identifiable and look a lot sexier than girls.

- Has any one stuck in such a situation that they mistaken chosen a lady boy for ST and later realized it?

So I booked March Hotel for $29.95 for 4 nights ($131.32 with taxes), but just before the departure from US I realized that as I am coming to BKK just after midnight I should have reserved one night before (as the check in is at 2 PM). March did not have any availability, so I reserved the closest I found Centara Pattaya Hotel and booked it for $64.75 including taxes. At Centara Pattaya Hotel's room was amazing (suite with living area and a bedroom) + the breakfast buffet was the best I ever had: 5 stations with everything! I asked departing if I can come just for the breakfast not being their guest. And the answer was yes, I can, just pay 240 TBs pp. The only problem I had was absolutely horrific view from the windows. But I was missing the buffet when I checked in into March Hotel. Well: no breakfast, but amazing view at the city (I am on the upper floor) -- now I am really happy: food I can get in many different places, but the view is great. Plus in March (and connected May hotel), there is a entrance in case you do not want to register your guest / guests (I always prefer to register my guests, but if you do not, you can consider that loophole).

Wondering around and then I came to Tree Town night Market entering from Skaw Beach Hotel. The first thing I noticed that MPs around had many attractive young professionals: no comparison from yesterday. I stopped at one across the hotel and had my all worries of the day evaporate together with 2. 5 K TB -- probably because I was so happy to get real out-of-the-life service I longed for so long, that I did not even try to use my minimum bargaining skills. Overall 350 TB for one day pass provided a decent gym experience. The only serious addition to the price is two one way 120 (each way) bike taxi which became rather pricy as all together 600 TBs.

Today expensive staff: Go-Gos and Clubs.

Everywhere I travel in the world whenever I access the free breakfast they always ask for my room number.Apparently you haven't stayed at the two hotels I mentioned. As for the whole room number thing. There are two ways around this.

1. Go hang out at the entrance behind other guests and pay attention to their room number when they announce it. Call them on your room hotel to their room hotel and tell them you are housekeeping. And ask what time will they check out tomorrow. When they say "we don't, we have XXX days," that's your cue to show up at 6 am next morning and use their room number and eat.

2. Find a resort hotel with patio tables for breakfast. Grab you one of the dirty plates off a table that has been left for clean up. Enter with dirty plates in hand and exchange them on your way to the buffet. Nobody will ask anything. If they do, start talking in some foreign language not named English.

Shit. I've gotten so good at this that I even order poolside drinks and food and bill it to another room. I also use different hotel, resorts, and condo pools and gyms when I am in Pattaya. No need to pay for that type of stuff. Grand Avenue has an excellent gym if you know how to sneak in. Just make sure you tip the staff so they don't suspect anything. This trip my 25 m2 botique serviced apartment is $300 USD a month including utilities. It's located 12 minutes walk to Buakhao behind Festival. If I showed you pictures, then people will find out the location and my secret isn't a secret anymore. Messes up my pricing. I've already shared two hotels for those who are brave who want free food. I'm too much nice.

P.S. : If you want free shots at the GoGo bars, just ask the girls while they hover around their free 2 SangSom bottles allocated to them. I used to tell them I've never tasted it before and batted my eyes at them. And they will give me a couple of shots. Lying goes a long way when you have confidence.

__Y.11. A) at Banana Boi mentioned something interesting for me down below: "I have been to its sister club, Telephone Booth, more often than Bar La Poste. Twice I found a half decent girl so decided to have some fun in the bar only. Buy any of these girls a LD and they immediately strip down and you can do anything you pretty much want to them except BJ / FS will cost you more" so I decided to start with that intriguing place. Turned out Disastrous. A) could not figure out how to get there: it turns out to be Telephone Bar (no boot). 11. B) Go-Gos, visited 4 starting with the House (where there were probably most attractive girls overall). Asked "super-model" how to negotiate and got a meaningful and educational answer. It is all in the bits-and-peices on this board, but I put them together. 1) You pay Bar Fine and it is usually non-negotiable. The only way to bypass it if a girl would be willing to go out with you after her shift is over and would NOT meet next to the exit / entrance of the club. But sometimes mama-san can offer a discount if she likes you, you paid for a lot of drinks, you are a frequent customer, it is very late in the evening -- usually within one hour of closing. I was told it is very rare. 2) duration: ST vs. LT. ST is usually 1 hour, but usually your girl has a leverage to prolong it to two hours if she likes a customer for what ever reason. LT is apparently tricky. It could be 4 hours, 5 hours, until morning 6 AM and until morning 9 AM -- all negotiable with the girl. 3) number of shots -- I was surprised that they count even for LT. "Normally" it is assumed 2, but a customer may negotiate to 3, or as many as he likes as long as the girl agrees. 4) special services; for example massaging bottom of the customer feet with the girl's breasts, etc. <-- all of these have to be negotiated well in advance with the help of Google Translator. Finally 5) Protection aka Condom use. She explained to me that if someone does not want to use condom, he would not be able to negotiate inside of the club -- he will be refused, almost 80%. However, if the customer is nice and serious about this and ready to tell the girl to leave the hotel room without pay, her only recourse is that the customer would not get his BF back, because unprotective service is against her club policy. When I asked mama-san about this very thing, she said to negotiate with the girl (not an outright "NO" so I am not 100% certain myself.

BF: 2 K-2. 5 K (different clubs had different numbers. Palace even had 2. 5 K Su-Th, but 3 K F-Sat I was also told that one can get a discount once the evening progresses.

ST: 3 K.

LT: 4-5 K -- different girls quoted different prices.

Again that was the night beginning: 8 PM, and I wanted by morning, so maybe later one can make a bargain with the leftovers.

There is a lot of thing go with GoGos and Clubs: you see what you can get. The most of the girls are young and doable (tattoos are big NO for me, but if you are not bothered by tatoos, you can get what you want at any of these bars.

Negative: high prices, and very boring inside (at least at the clubs I have been).

11. C) Russian Go-Gos / Clubs -- this is a special category. I BFed a girl from one of the Thai clubs (next to Palace) and despite the highest price in this trip still think she was worth it. When she told me that she really knows how to excite men with her dancing technique, I took her to Russian Club. No, no extra '0'. And then she asked if I would be willing to buy her a drink for "only" 15 K THB and then she would seat with me and my Thai girl for an hour. I guess there are many rich people, I could not even think about such prices, but then it all was exactly as 10 years ago, so I was not terribly surprised.

Final note to the people with under-developed negotiating skills like mine. Use technology. My new girlfriend who I am taking off travelling (that Thai girl from one of Go-Gos) for a week, once heard that I pay 120 THB per taxi bike ride, grabbed my phone and installed BOLT on it. She also told me that in her club and in her sister's club (apparently she has a sister and her sister also works in Go-Go) they get tested every 15 days for STDs. <-- I am not sure if that is of any use, because the virus or bacteria can get you-know-where a day after the test or even the day before the test and the test still would be negative. So use TF to negotiate with girls, Agoda to negotiate hotels, Bolt to get a taxi. And ready to accept the risk that every time I talk to a person, I am a slacker most take advantage off.

Some members seem to be alarmed of a 1 K increase in the barfine price.

As you said, barfining a girl in these places is a sucker's practice, being asked to spend 1 K more won't push them stopping being suckers.

One has to remember that on top of the barfine these guys are also giving 4 K to 5 K for these girls, plus many lady drinks before taking her out of the bar, plus taking care of all her needs once outside of the bar, so the 1 K baht difference is nothing in this case.

Once a girl is BF, she just changes and goes. They have personal lockers at their bar. If it is Soi 6, many of them stay in the rooms there. She doesn't bring all her stuff because dudes are thieves as much as dudettes. You can always snoop and dig in her purse while she is taking a shit or showering to see what she is carrying. Lolitas on Soi Pothole is gone. The replacement (Scarlet Bar?) is nothing special. There are other good bars on Soi Pothole, however.

Club 4, described as "the currently best blow job bar in Pattaya" is gone. The replacement (Manuya Club?) doesn't offer ANY on site activity and quoted me prices more than twice the going rates for off-site. I visited 6 bars in that cluster on Bong Koch 8 (the others were 007, Pirates, Carre Blanc, Purple and Bada Bing), many which Redcat rates highly. I found them all quite disappointing and visiting that area to be a serious waste of time vs. Just about anywhere else. As always, YMMV, but I would skip it.

The price of the barfine was already 2 K to 2.5 K for quite some time and it was not only limited to Nightwish related bars.

I think there are several macro factors encourage this lamentable move away from how Soi Six used to operate in the good old days. The Thai economy is doing pretty well, especially in the manufacturing sector where Thailand competes strongly to be a low cost producer of goods high on the value chain. There are plenty of jobs for workers with low educational attainment. Birth rates are falling. So there are fewer young people leaving the farm in search of a better life, which translates into fewer young women finding their way to Pattaya. Finally, it seems like customer preferences have changed. There are now enough guys willing to sit and drink that the bars and the girls can make a living on "downstairs" revenue alone. Or perhaps *mostly* on downstairs revenue. I could get off on a rant here about the wimpy losers who prefer sipping and staring to climbing the stairs. But that's a waste of time. I think I'll go yell at some clouds instead.

Soi 6; starts around 4 pm and is the best deal around. Best for drinking and hanging out; and or a quick 30 min to 1 hour lay upstairs, no rush. Not good for take home before 11 pm / midnight. Price is 400 bahts to use the room upstairs. Standard price for ladies short time (up to 1 hour) is 1,000 bhats however some girls have started asking for more. If you negotiate before hand they will usually say 1,500 or 2,000 and then you have to talk it down to 1,000-1,500 which is a waste of time. Instead, just ask the girl to go upstairs, then give her what you want afterwards. The stsndard price is 1,000 mininum, so anything else is a tip and cannot be enforced. The mamasan will be on your side. Its always uncovered BJ. There are usually 500-800 girls working each night so you can find everything from a 3-9 in looks. If the girl likes you, you will get a GFE experience.

Pattaya is definitely worth going to for even a few days. It is much much better than Bangkok. Supply and demand is the reason why. Thousands of girls fuck to live there. There are at least 3 mongering areas and some open at 1 pm and some clubs close at 6 am. So you can drink and fuck all day. Prices are cheaper. You can get a descent hotel for 30 $ a night, which can help mitigate the taxi ride.


This is more to the oldies in the group, of which I am one. Spent many years in Asia and bounced around China / Vietnam / Philippines and lots of time in Indonesia especially Jakarta. Have spent my fair share of time in Bangkok & Phuket but never been to Pattaya.
