Before traveling with a bar girl, have her go with you long time in Pattaya. Then, do a few days in Bangkok. By then, you will have an idea if you can live together. I have had ladies flake out in Bangkok.

The last step is flying to some domestic destination like Phuket or Chiang Mai. If she can handle that, a trip to Malaysia or Vietnam or Macau is possible.

The guest speaker isn't a tax expert but a Doctoral guy who has done extensive work who has gone down to the Revenue office, got forms and even develop a program to calculate your returns. If provide online the forms that were necessary as to how to file and the rules pertaining the deductions etc. He went over the form and use sample calculations as to what an individual would pay if it was to be enforced on those spending more than 180 days.

One first and foremost he made it clearly although he was the speaker he made a disclaimer to everyone he wasn't an expert so don't quote him. In the meeting open session lots of questions and speculation as to whether this will be made an policy and enforce. There was speculation that if done it will be enforced through Immigration when renewing your Extension you will be asked to provide as part of your package that a return was made and if fully enforced it will be placed into your immigration record and if not won't be able to enter Thailand if you leave.

As the discussion continue the above is the worse enforcement as we know Thailand leaders don't know their left from right by the time it actually is enforced old guys said they will be dead. One guy claim right now A. I. Is being developed so to make it happen. I said and many dislike brought up the topic of what is deductible and said as you guys argue about what is does anyone actually think they can sit with a Thai revenue official and ask speak English as you guys are doing now and think you are going to get your way. This is what I continue to mentioned people get so worked up they don't realize Thailand is in the bottom year in year out when it comes to English improvement these old dogs can't read or write and certainly can't speak a lick. So get ready to argue, get back a stare and pay the piper. Majority of the simple samples of someone bringing in 1 million baht with the general deductions end up with a PAY 25,000 baht! There are two sets of forms a 91 and 90, 91 will be the one most of us will use 90 is for those who work here and invest money. Form 90, there are 40 pages of rules, 91 has like 20.

But here is the catch a handful of countries and USA Is one of them NO DOUBLE TAXATION so whatever amount it shows you to pay is VOID! But as we know every Immigrations does their own thing will if enforced Revenue department do the same. Look you in the face and play dumb like Thais are good at doing!

The end of meeting no matter how you are to fill out the form no one has a clue as of yet just ASSUMPTIONS AND SPECULATIONS WHICH DRIVE WHAT? FEAR! Is the fear justified that a guy will stay less that 180 days like EX, if you can not a bad idea until everyone really knows. Starting next year if I remember correctly Starting 2025 you got January to end of March to file for 2024, and you got to apply for a I. The. First. Another option for ducking away from colleagues for a short time is Soi 6. From the Dusit Thani, walk to Beach Road and catch a baht bus headed south. After about one kilometer you'll see Soi 6 on the left. Plenty of girls, starting in the early afternoon. Short time rooms available in most bars. To return to the Dusit Thani walk east on Soi 6 (away from the beach) to Second Road, then catch a baht bus headed north. You'll pass the Terminal 21 shopping complex on the right, and then arrive at the roundabout with the dolphin statute. The baht bus will turn left and you'll see the Dusit Thani on your right.

Now, what could be new and different in that PREVENTION and SUPPRESSION of Prostitution Act (why not say criminalized, outlawed or made illegal with no reference to setting up a business, soliciting in public, profiting from someone else doing all the work, etc? But I digress) is the part where the Act addresses the customer and prostitute who negotiate a P4 P deal in public or on a social network app.

However, there again, an argument could be made that those are "public" events in that it is being done on the street and there are third parties aware of whatever is being discussed on most social network apps. Several such apps already ban people for that kind of conversation. Some even enforce restrictions for someone asking for money for any reason, not just in exchange for sex.

Still, has anyone ever seen, read or heard of a punter getting arrested for chatting up and negotiating a deal with anyone in front of the Nana Hotel sign on Soi 4 in Bangkok? Beach Road in Pattaya? Anywhere else in all of Thailand, ever? I haven't.

So what would be the fix for avoiding getting busted for anything listed in the Thai Penal Code AND that Act referenced by EverythingThai? I suppose if the only negotiations for P4 P are done face to face, not in public and without anyone associated with the establishment or hotel in which the deal is made and consummated raking off a percentage of the money action, everybody is all clear. Whilst Soi 6 is not my preferred late afternoon or night out in Pattaya (I prefer GC vibe / pool bars / live music venues) I visit Pattaya twice per year for one month in April and 3 weeks in low season (next trip coming up in 4 weeks). During each venue I always dedicate one night minimum (mostly 2) to Soi 6. It's almost like nostalgia. I cannot remember paying LT price of 1500 or less for a LONG time for a spinner / optifuk. Ram is not wrong to say that older ladies, some with few customer prospects, might do this. But he also commented that he is 40's and only takes the younger pretty girls. My experience is that ET is right. The bar fine price starts high and declines as the night progresses. The LT price for a spinner is now minimum 2000 (late on) or normally 2500-3000. I was there during Songkran this year (total bedlam! Just after Songkran I had a fabulous time in Toybox. Decided to try to take 2 young optifuks out for a night out, meal, bit of fun down WS and maybe a karaoke or pool competition. Despite generosity with lady drinks my attempts to persuade both of them to come for 2000 each, meal, drinks all night did not succeed. At that point (8 pm) mamasan was quoting 1500 BF for each of the two but said she would take 1000 for each if I definitely took two. Now as for the Thai barbers, there is no excuse for not knowing how to shave a man's face if your running a Barber shop. There are simple steps you must follow. First you have to use the clippers to trim a beard down, then preferably use the foil trimmers to shave it down even further. Then a hot towel is usually used on the face to soften the skin before the straight razor. And before you use the fucking straight razor, you actually have to make sure its fucking sharp by sharpening that *****. As you shave the face, you should even be sharpening it on the leather strop. And the strokes should be small and precise so you don't cut the man your shaving. It should be a pleasant relaxing experience. Not frightening, painful, and full of worry some kid is going to slice your face open. Once the shave is done, again a hot towel should be applied before some after shave to disinfect your face.

These barbers are just lathering you up with shaving cream and shaving you down with a dull straight razor and taking way to big strokes to get it done as soon as possible and cutting the shit out of your face. It took 30 minutes to stop bleeding and my face was stinging when I touched it for 2 days and had a visible razor burn rash.

Its not rocket science. Go to any barber shop in Latin America or a major American city and they will be on point and you will get an excellent shave. The barbers shops are not up to par and there is no excuse if your charging someone money and fucking there shit up.

There has not been any inflation in Thailand that is 50-100%. I talked to a thai and she told me prices has increased around 3-5%, maximum 7%. An increase for an average looking girl on soi 6 from 1000 to 1500 or even 2000 has nothing to do with inflation. I was in Pattaya in July. I did write a report about it here. I bartered the price down on soi 6. Payed a maximum 1500 for one of the top 10% of the girls (lookswise). The other two were 1200 and even a 1000. But two of them tried 2000. Visited Soi Chaiyapoon last night. It's hard to imagine, but there are quite a few new bars on the street. Lots of ladies. Some of the bars are more than 50% ladyboy.

But not many customers. I sat in a bar for an hour and saw three customers walk in.

Then I went to LK Metro and went to Paradise a Gogo. Talent was pretty thin. Some amazingly old ladies lurking about. I went with a civvie, and she found a couple of pearls among the swine.

Bottom line: right now is the best time to go to Pattaya, the ladies are fairly desperate for customers.

Let me share with you that condo prices here in Pattaya are more expensive for Farangs than for Thai consumers. I looked a condo in View Talay 5. They told me that I could buy it for 2,400,000. 00 THB. I visited the condo with ATF and they told her that she could buy it for 1,700,000. 00. Should I get my panties in a knot over the difference? No that is just the way it is here in Pattaya. If I have a problem with it I simply should not buy it.

He noted about events from articles like this spoke about Duel pricing same as the last PM when he took over in a coup how it gives a black eye to the nation and people. Has anything really changed? Their Supreme court over two years ago ruled on an Expat lawsuit duel pricing in Hospital private and public the written decision was not on right or wrong nor their own law but Expats / Foreigners are better off therefore should pay more! This type of Thai thinking runs deep reason one hears in accidents it is always the foreigner fault I once sad in with a friend in Na Jomtien station after the Thai admitted she cause the accident, no license no nothing, hear the officer say to my friend you should pay up " you have it and you will feel better ".

Article after article year after year what goes around comes around yet they are still overcharging, Taxis not using meter, this has been in the news several times this year alone. There was a case recently where even a Thai was overcharged the guy wouldn't turn on the meter he / she filmed it yet we are still in coversation.

Pattaya, article after article each week about Arabs on Beach and 2nd Road racing, films about police citing rental bikes that take 90 of parking on Beach road yet one can't still find a space.

As for condo, here I've dealt with a number of offices no one is licensed or trained there isn't a real comparison in place or protection for buyers. Years back my free time I go around looking since I also have 30 years in the real estate market back home for my family. Prices here are over inflation in my opinion not by any demand so and so got this so I'm going for it too. I remember years back I was down on Soi 6, Pussy Cat bar just taken over by nightwish group talking and buying a drink for one pleasant girl at best a 5, I ask what is your price she said 1000, I said I always paid 700 I ask her why 1000 when it is 700, cause everyone else is getting 1000.

This nonsense filter to Condos, over ten years I purchased a tiny condo right off the beach in Jomtien, nothing fancy a small development which are the best, there were lots of units for rent and for sale I did my homework if not using an agency many know the price but it is like top secret stuff. I noticed I had a better chance buying from a Thai due to the need to sell and even for the fact 51% had to be owned by Thais, many expats seller had this appreciation factor in their pricing. I first noticed the sale from this building on the board at Big see extra, I noticed a number of cards by the same lady she ended up representing a number of Thais sellers I went to the building myself asking the office shopping for a place for my brother to rent for a few months once they figure out I wasn't Thai, I started to get different prices for and when I ask how much to buy, you get the head toes treatment sign of sizing you up how much should I throw out.

A rule of thumb, most if not all these projected are funded by a bank, off the ground the developer must come up with 20% committed buyers there after the bank will lend the other 80% Reason you see old signs 6% appreciation for 3 years. You get a entry level price if you are inside the 20% then as they sell out the price goes up 2%, another 2%, so if you do your homework, patiences, ask when the complex was built and when the seller purchased his unit, then try to figure out why he / she is selling and how long on market if they are hard up might go for a bit over what they paid. That is how I got my first condo. But no article a person see or read going to mean the problem is going to be fixed, I still waiting for the last PM who claim he will fix the traffic problem in a month.

1,500 Baht barfine at 9 pm plus whatever remaining drinks from the quota of 10.

So if you went at 9 pm and the girl has had 4 drinks from someone else, then you will have to buy her 6 lady drinks plus 1,500 Baht barfine fee.

Does any of this sound right?

I went to Flirt. They said 1,500 Baht barfine at 10 pm (They open an hour later at 4 pm.) No need to buy drinks. But one or two drinks would be appreciated.

Now I go in Sexy in the City and pay a drink to a 5 because I pity her.

She says she works there for 5 days, but had zero customers.

I ask how much do you ask? She says 2 K.

I say you cannot ask 2 K, that's too much.

She says that's not too much because every other girl is asking 2 K, as if every girl from the bar has the same value.

At this point I try to explain her a bit, but she thinks I'm just trying to take advantage of her. So I let her figure it out by herself but I have no doubt it will take too long and she will eventually quit before realising it.

To each his own, when I read reports here don't get me wrong I enjoy them greatly it is a lesson in how to properly write first and foremost. LOL at this point in my life where lots of stuff isn't a priority whenever I'm out and about I can take or leave it as it comes.

Sad, they are human scrambling for any job she is waiting for new opening on Soi 15, New Shark LOL to open on 5th, inside XS, packed wall to wall mostly Asian Chinese from the Mandarin. As XS grows I see more farang investor quietly viewing the operation. For whatever reason I get a bit of respect a few old friends came up to say Hello, no drinks, order a draft, took a sip 20 minutes top out, unless you get a good seat tough to view girls great they have lots of girls but tough to view.

Off to Pinup, must be having a party decoration made the place look cheap, got a decent set door guy jump up said papa, tonight got.

All the customers were chain-smoking Asians who mostly came in groups. They were buying racks of shots for the girls, while playing those stupid games.

If Mod's tried to scam me, it wouldn't be the first time someone tried to do that to me in Pattaya.
