I've noticed that as well, and I asked someone about it. I got told many customers (especially Asians) are too shy to pick a girl, and they sit in the back hopelessly waiting to be noticed. Most girls are too dumb and only face the street at all times. The bell thing makes it easier for the customer-girl interaction to actually happen.

But that is a different environment, being the only way to see the range of girls available in the establishment, not an open space as a Thai bar (be it closed doors, GC type, or open to the street, beer bar style) and where the girls are around and visible at all times.

So they might have brought in the concept. As it suits them too: each customer to have a girl aside, milking LD's and customer drinks too. They are also located in other areas as well, but these are the more well known areas. In these beer bars you can sit and buy drinks for yourself and chill. These bars also have girls working there and you can buy them a lady drink that will cost around 150 Baht give or take 10-20 Baht either way. The girls will mess around with you in the bar by twerking, dancing, sticking their hand down your pants and give you a wank for a few seconds and so on. Some bars, like on soi 6 will have short time rooms available for a few hundred Baht where you can go and fuck the girls for approximately 1000-1500 baht ST, where others won't have rooms on. Site. I remember a couple years back when either Chang or Singha wanted to increase the price of their bottled water and there was a big to do about it. The government told them that they could not do it. Fuel prices have indeed doubled. I remember when it would cost 120 baht to fill up my motorbike. It is now 240 baht. But as I have said many times before, I am still paying the same prices for other things as I first did 16 years ago. How can I decide? How do I pick one?First of all, the best piece of advice I will give you is to not listen to all this nonsense on pricing. It has been discussed to death. Back to pricing. Lady drinks 150-160 Baht. Customer drinks 80 Baht and up. Short time rooms 300-500 baht. Short time 1000-1500 baht. Look at Explorer. He is a guy that has money. He chooses not to go to these areas. Instead, he goes to other areas and sees other girls that don't work in the walking street bars. Do the same. use Thai Friendly. Meet freelancers in bars and clubs. Go to beer bars. Go to Gents clubs. The point is that if you want to find that 1000 Baht ST, you can easily find it. I took a taxi from Pratumnak to Khao Talo and back last night. Unfortunately, traffic in Pattaya is getting jammed up because there are too many people on the roads.Quite the opposite. I am on the Baht (did I spell that right) Bus traveling from Jomtien to Central Pattya all the time. The usual crowds that fill the Baht Bus are not there. I am still having to wait for the Baht Bus to fill up on Second Street for the return trip. Even during the business hours. My prediction for Pattaya is that the place is rammed right now with girls and there are still not enough punters to go around. The top girls will still make money, but alas, the rest will just get by or dare I say it, even won't be able to survive. Look at Soi 6 bars right now. Look at the gents clubs, such as Club Fate. Look at the go go bars. The bar owners are stacking up on girls for high season, but there still won't be enough punters to go around. This high season, only the top go go bars, only the top freelancers, only the consistent gents clubs, only the good beer bars will survive. Another indication of a disappointing high season in Pattaya is the amount of live streams that are going on. The girls and bar owners alike are using these live streams to subsidize their incomes because there are more girls in preparation for high season, but not enough punters. I have even seen some freelancers open their own live streams because of this. This high season will be shorter, as it will start later and finish earlier. Walking street will be busy on weekends, as well as Soi 6, but there will be no consistent flow of customers on a daily basis this high season. A lot of bars will go under after this high season. Why? Many bar owners have put their livelihoods on the line. They should not of even opened a bar unless they have a good cash flow to support themselves. I have seen new bars open and close in a matter of only a few weeks because the owner has no operating capital.

Traffic 101 LBM!

When it comes to traffic posting is very heavy high season, another no it isn't? Whenever I come from Darkside into town this time of year I get to Sukhumvit and Pattaya Klang at the night if traffic is back up at a stand still if I didn't pay attention to the calendar to events then I know Beach Road is a mess due to some event, Music festival, soon fireworks, Loy Krathong, what the cops do they have no experience in traffic management they block off the road at Klang and 2nd road closing off Beach Road requiring vehicle to detour stretching the volume out to other location.

So although it is high season requiring vehicle to traffic further would make it seems it is high season.

Then you got 3rd Road heading to Klang always a back up, with the tour buses heading out it would make it seem high season again but no so, without a computer traffic system they set the light going north at this intersection even with the high volume of vehicle at 15 second tops giving priority to traffic that is back up from Sukhumvit and Klang top priority. You sit at this intersection even no cars are coming they still have the green. Those who know on bikes clear run the light or take the side roads. Personally, I weave through the cars even drive on the otherside of orange cones of on coming traffic but I do it slow and safely if there is such a thing.

You talk about P-Hill to Darkside using Khao Talo, You come up Theppasit traffic is heavy at the Jomtien outlet complex with the large market which is open now daily, preference like always given to cars on Sukhumvit so they can travel so fast it kills them. Then poorly design the road leading into Khao Talo you got a two lane right turn that flows into one at the end there is what is know as the Railroad Bypass, Thailand no one has a clue as to what right of way is so everyone won't give you a time of day like most traffic bottlenecks here in Pattaya it is ALL self inflicted cause they lock themselves up at the tracks where no one can move reason MOTORBIKE!

This happens at 3-4 of the intersection that is above ground where the trains travels so several times of the day the traffic is at an standstill do to closure allowing the trains to run through the city, it will get worse and worse since next to the train will travel the bullet train when it comes. Right now, North to South of the Railroad bypass, Chopiwithi, Soi Siam, Soi Khao Noi, Soi Khao Talo will be even worse since these roads must be close when the train comes through since more and more are moving East.

If your Motorbike taxi, Grab, Bolt, is they don't live live on the Darkside would never use the main roads to get you to Khao Talo.

Bottleneck at khao Talo is very common no matter what season!

Touched down in BKK after the grueling fight from Arizona-taxi to Ayutthaya to spend the first night away from the busy city. Really enjoyed this. The night started at 3 PM. For anyone that follows some of the ISG drama, there was no sign of Pimple Pee Pee who already agreed to meet. The line up on this day was about 20, but not a good day for quality. It varies from day to day here. The place is now renovated, but for some reason, the bar is still the center of attention. I grabbed the best looking girl as soon as I arrived. Stayed here for about 3 hours shooting the shit with Sub and some of the other expats that were there, while at the same time playing with the girls tits and ass as we drank together. 2 things I was considering from night 2. #1 , and I briefly mentioned it, kinda weird having security and drink staff like right next to you the whole time at pinup-maybe because they sat me in the front row idk. From The Base you can run the baht bus circuit along Beach Road and 2nd Road for 10 baht / trip. I will try to be kind. Please stay at home. You are not at all ready for an international mongering trip. You will either get ripped off or lost in the Pattaya jungle. Also you will be the victim of racism, because you are Indian and unsophisticated. It will not be a pleasant experience for you. On top of that you seem to be on a limited budget. All that makes for a terrible combination. The other thing is your pristine passport will be stamped with Thai entry and exit stamps. So there will always be a paper trail of your visit. If friends, family, wife (present or future) will look at the passport, they will know you went to Thailand. And everyone knows why you go to Thailand as a single man from India.

So really, save yourself the pain and misery. Find local action in Chennai or other parts of India.Next, do not listen to this guy.

Ok here goes. As a first time traveller and making Pattaya your first visit, it will be very overwhelming and the costs will probably be more than you have planned in your head. Therefore, come for a long weekend only. This means 4 days including travel time. Fly into Suvarnabhumi Airport, as it is a lot closer to Pattaya than Don Muang. Take a taxi from the normal taxi stand. It will cost about 1500 baht roughly. Stay in a hotel, such as Nine Blue Residence. It will be between 700 Baht-1200 baht per night. There is a promotion now for 700 Baht on booking dot com. You will need three nights. It's not right in the central area, so use bolt taxi. You can download the App. Each ride will normally be around 60-100 baht to the central area. After that, take the Baht bus for 10 baht to travel around the central area.

For food, there are plenty of Indian restaurants, especially on 2nd Road. On the opposite end of where central is, on the way to Paratumnak.

How to behave when meeting girls. First of all, dress nice and be well groomed. This means use deodorant, wear cologne, and try not to eat a lot of spicy Indian food before you come as that smell will come out your skin pours and many of the girls will be turned off. When talking to the girls, be polite and do research on prices before you come. That way, you won't need to waste time negotiating. Just make them an offer based on your research and let them take it or leave it. You will know what your budget it, so stick to it. make sure its realistic as per my guide though.

Where to meet girls for fun. I would not suggest meeting freelancers on Thai Friendly. You will waste too much precious time. And don't contact girls before you come. Those advance plans won't work out when you arrive. Meet girls on beach road, gentlemen clubs and bars in Tree Town, Soi Buakao, Soi Pothole, Myth bar complex, Las Vegas beer complex, and Soi Boomerang.

Now for prices:

Beach road freelancers usually start at 1000 Baht for ST. Maybe 700 baht if you are lucky. Take them to a short time room. Do not carry a lot of money with you. Just enough to pay them, pay for the ST room and enough to get you to and from your hotel. I am scared you will get ripped off. Most girls are ok, but some are not. Stay away from the girls who are not Thai as they will generally ask for a little more money and are not always trustworthy. Do not pay before. Pay after you fuck!

Next, beer bars. Beer bars are good places as they are very laid back. Customer drinks are around 60 Baht to 100 baht and lady drinks are 130-160 baht. Bar fine around 500 baht and ST is around 1000 baht. The ST room will be around 300 baht. Stay away from soi 6. You will be bombarded with lady drink requests and you will also be too overwhelmed. If you decide to go, stick to your budget.

Gents clubs are the best option for you. Drinks are all similar to the beer bars, but they have rooms above the bar. ST 1000 Baht, room 300-400 baht. Very relaxed atmosphere.

Massage places.

There are a bunch on Soi Bukao and then there is the Honey massage locations. Massage is all over the place. Normally you can get fucked for 1200-3000 baht depending on where you go. Do your research in the Pattaya threads by using the search function and search for massage Pattaya. You can also search for "Pattaya massage" to get recommendations by using the forum's search function.

Then go to walking street only 1 night. There are some great Indian clubs there. Just search as I do not go so I won't know the names. Stay away from the go go bars on walking street as you will blow through your entire trip budget in one night and some go go bars are racist. Grab a bottle for 3000 baht and find a freelancer to take. 2000 ST and 3000-5000 LT. Keep your valuables locked up in your hotel safe and don't pay until after you and her are finished fucking. DO NOT PAY BEFORE!

Now about money. How much should you bring to spend on food and ladies for a 4 day three night trip. Budget for 10,000 baht per day, so 40,000 baht. That's after your flight, hotel and transportation. Then keep 20,000 baht in reserve for emergencies. That means bring 60,000 Baht in total to spend. You do the conversion yourself to Indian currency. Exchange for 20,000 baht at the airport and exchange the rest at TT exchange in Pattaya. Keep your foreign ATM card and credit card locked in your hotel safe for emergencies. Do not get caught buying too many lady drinks or that will wipe your budget away in one day.


About your passport, keep it locked up in your hotel room safe. Take a photo of the photo page and the visa entry stamp from the airport page and keep it on your phone and then take a copy of the same photo page and visa entry stamp page from the airport and keep the photo copies in your pocket. if you find a photo shop, they will even laminate the copies for you for a cheap price.

Finally, you will fall in love with Pattaya and want to come back often. After you leave, plan your next trip straight away and start saving again. If you can afford it, book your next flight right after you get back. Even if it's far in advance. Then you can work towards it.

Now, all these others who have not helped you will now start to chime in and critique my advice. Ignore them! Just focus on positive things and plan your trip.

From the bottom floor of the airport you can get a bus to jomtien for 150 baht!! A bolt to your hotel will be another 100 baht. Saves about 30 dollars =5 Lady drinks. Also don't miss the food court also on the bottom floor- similar to the one at terminal 21 where you put $$ on a card and scan it at the different vendors. Work meetings in Bangkok gave me the chance to get back to Pattaya, where I visited a few months earlier. I lost a day and a half of fun thanks to a flight delay, so I ended up with two nights and two full days before I had to get to Bangkok, but I tried to maximize my fun in that time.

Arriving around 7 PM Saturday via the Cherry car service I arranged to pick me up at Suvarnabhumi (1000 Baht plus 100 tip), I could feel the strong weekend vibes as we navigated Pattaya's streets. I checked into Areca Lodge on Soi Diana; it was my first time staying at the place, and I thought it was excellent. Though I didn't use the pools the breakfast was good, I liked the hotel's overall look, and best of all the location was perfect for Soi Buakhao area activities or getting to Soi 6 or Walking Street via the Baht Bus.

Great advice and its definitely helpful for not only this guy but all first timers / new comers. Hope its okay to add some more India specific tips here. As I think they might come in handy for this fella and any fellow Indians.

1. Get a Forex card in advance. They have a 225 baht per transaction charge but pretty much work like a regular ATM card. Get one with lower markup rates. Do not use your domestic debit card, some might work but markup charges are too much and do not take out cash using your credit card.

2. Book a cab in advance if you feel getting one from airport or outside is too much of a hassle, I prefer nam's cabs but there are tons of options.

3. Get some dollars in your pocket from India. There is a 20 k baht rule for tourists but one that is hardly or ever enforced but if its your first time outside of India and you look like a deer caught in the headlights, you don't want to be the unlucky odd man out. Also, you will get much better exchange rates for Dollars to baht compared to Rupees to Baht.

4. I prefer an e-sim to the physical ones so I don't have to keep my regular sim out, might be a bit expensive but worth hassle of not losing the original sim. Also different, mobile operators have different international roaming rules so check tht for yourself before leaving India.

4. Do not stare at WGs as if they are a display unit in some tv shop. Sounds rude but this is something I have seen my countrymen do and it really creeps everyone out. If you like someone, smile nod strike a conversation but ffs do not blankly stare!

5. Do not overplan your trip. Get a cab, check in, rest and then roam around and see what catches your fancy!

My last trip to BKK, I worked mostly during the day till nearly midnight due to time difference and would venture out after midnight to find a FL near Nana or go to a Gogo, and then visit a soapy in the morning half. That was my weekdays. Soapy+ FL usually was 4/5 k or less, soapy+gogo+FL was like 5/6 k and weekends I used to do whole day mongering so that used to be like 10-15 k range on occasion. Not taking into consideration food and booze as that would widely vary for all.

The area is totally intended for Japanese customers but as a white farang I was still fairly well accepted. As expected, the ladies are more the type the Asian guys would like, don't expect to see big ass tanned tattooed anal girls, the type you find there is more innocent / cute and probably a lot more starfishy than the farang oriented ones.

The venues are all closed doors, unlike Soi 6. Once you're in the Mamasan will get you seated (mostly sofas) downstairs or you can get a private room upstairs (no sex allowed there, just a closed karaoke room), then she will bring in all the available ladies for you to choose from.

Lady drinks also work very different from Pattaya, you pay for the lady's company (like 400 b / hour if I remember) plus a bucket of beer, and she can drink from your beer. It's not too expensive but if you're expecting the same transparency you get in Pattaya you'll feel disappointed.

The area is totally intended for Japanese customers but as a white farang I was still fairly well accepted. New to Thailand but not at all new to mongering. I've done 2 month-long trips to Angeles City, mostly for the BBFS options which I consider a must-have for any session. Overall, been in the game for well over 30 years. Mostly in Europe, South America, Caribbean, China, Singapore, and of course, the US.

In the Philippines, I found that most (maybe 80%) of the bar girls and 90% of the street and app freelancers (definitely NOT Ladyboys which I avoid) will agree to BBFS without pushing for more money.

It looks like in Bangkok and Pattaya, maybe 50% of the girls will agree to BBFS only if I promise an extra 15-30% tip. The other 50% just won't go for it at any reasonable rate. Is that aligned with your experiences?

Can you please help me understand what you look for in a bar girl, freelancer, massage, and GC girl that make them more likely to agree? Probably should note that I am 63,6-feet tall, and fat at 300 lbs. But girls say I have a nice / friendly / respectful personality and in the PH many of my girls asked for repeats often. So I'm not able to rely on youth and fitness to get what I want. LOL.

1st. General Logistics, Opinions and Observations. Bars and Ladies Specifics to Follow.

Issan Flt to BBK via ThaiAirways. 1st Leg delayed 50 minutes which caused my arranged taxi to Pattaya to be maybe 15 minutes late picking me up (don't ask why).

Used Mr. Taxi, 1200 baht from airport to Pattaya Soi 10 Sea Me Springs To hotel (tolls included in cost), same cost for return trip. Have been using Mr. Taxi for the past 3 visits to Pattaya, not the cheapest. But reliable with both legs being in a semi-new Camry.

Sea Me Springs To on Soi 10,10,200 baht for 4 nights. Great location and decent hotel, good service staff.

Pattaya was packed with Falangs, but bars weren't very busy during my stay. Asked a couple of bar managers and they confirmed unusually low customer count for this time of year.

Got hit with 2 evening down pours where the streets got flooded, and weather was warmer than I expected.

Just my observations and opinion, so for what it's worth.

- Go-Go Ladies English lacking, see if this makes sense. Years ago most of the Go-Go girls English was decent, my conclusion being previously girls would start off at beer bars then work their way in to the Go-Go scene. Now, they just jump into the highest paying job.

- Lot more mixed race ladies working the bars, not a bad thing.

- Seen this tip on a Youtube video on Soi 6, found it to be true. On Soi 6, I normally pick the girl. Video tip recommended you let the lady pick you or at least show some interest in you. Being over 60 years old and ugly by Thai standards found this tip handy in having a more fun interaction with the lady and there was always 1 poor hottie that would show interest in me.

- Soi 6 Tequila Shots. Some bars have these shot serving wire heart, wire tree and basic serving tray. Wire heart 2000 baht, tree 10 k, big serving tray 5 k and a smaller serving tray for under 1 k baht.

Bunch of guy were buying the 1 k tray and only saw 1 guy buy a 2 k heart.

- Between Soi 7 and Soi 8 Beach Road still smells like a sewer, brings back memories from 30 years ago on every visit.

- Beer Bars. I like beer bars for a relaxing drink and a game of pool. What happened to very beer bar having at least one or two hotties working (again, what I consider hot), beer bars were a disappointment.

- Visited Honey 1 and 2, along with Sabai Dee. Thought Honey 2 had the best looking ladies, did two sessions there. Oh, Naru Oil Massage isn't worth the additional cost IMO, 1 time maybe for the experience.

- Always as for ladies age with Thai ID proof. Crazy, one lady who I thought might be under age was 25 years old and another lady on Soi 6 who I thought was in her mid-twenties was turning 40 this year.

- Regular at Tahitian Queen on Beach Road for over 30 years. Love the music and relaxed atmosphere. Was a bit disappointed in the selection of ladies on both the day and nightshift. However, still love the place for a cold beer and old fashion rock and roll.

- Beach Road. Walked Beach Road on 3 out of the 4 nights (9 pm, 1 am and 4 am). There maybe diamonds out there, but I didn't see any.

Next Part. Will cover Bars, Gent Club (singular, as I only visited Heaven Above twice), Soi 6 and Go-Gos (1 on Soi 6, TQ and 3 on Walking Street).

The main thing here is almost every girl can provide BBFS if you play your cards right. Most are ok with it, some (not all) ok with CP too. What they are really NOT ok with is their friends knowing that they BB, this is one of the worst "face loss" factors that will make the girls say NO if you're playing it wrong.

To me, going to a venue (or approaching them in the street) openly asking for BB is a stupid thing to do, as soon as the first one refuses you the next one is much more likely to refuse, because her friends that you asked before will know that she does BB if you take her.

I just take the girls and most of the time BB happens naturally, sometimes they might ask for condom but after a brief negotiation in the room they're ok with BB. " Its a nice hotel, which you can also use for short time hourly sessions that is 10x better than...Most hotels I've been staying in have a requirement that the girl be 20+ years old. The venues are all closed doors, unlike Soi 6. Once you're in, the Mamasan will get you seated (mostly sofas) downstairs or you can get a private room upstairs (no sex allowed there, just a closed karaoke room), then she will bring in all the available ladies for you to choose from.

Lady drinks also work very different from Pattaya, you pay for the lady's company (like 400 b / hour if I remember) plus a bucket of beer, and she can drink from your beer. The glasses she drinks are also charged in a lousy / inaccurate way. At the end they'll figure out how many glasses she had and write in a paper the amount you have to pay. It's not too expensive but if you're expecting the same transparency you get in Pattaya you'll feel disappointed.Thank you for that. It's a good start and gives me a good idea of what to expect. I, too, won't settle for anything less than BBFS back to my place. I sure don't expect the girls to act like in Pattaya, otherwise they'd already be there, or they don't like that vibe.
