In a nutshell, this is the problem. There's a part of me that wants to do long times, and especially with girls like this. When I was there I was told that peak season starts Nov 1. I was also told hotel prices and other prices would double then. Could someone clarify during which times prices double and if it is better to go just before peak or is just after peak better?

Sorry for late answer. I would distinguish between two peak season:
- peak season for hotel rates may start 1st November (it depends of the hotel) till end of March (idem)
- peak season for girls (it means you may have to pick them up earlier and price negotiation is excluded for the most pretty girls), from my experience only really starts around 10/15 December untill end of February. I was there end of November untill December 10th and really began to feel the peak season pressure increasing from December 6. I like better before peak because the weather is better (cooler, no rain), than after (but will come bacl in May anyway)

There must be others out there with these kinds of conflicted urges. I wonder how you deal with them.

I'm totally the opposite. I'm into my 40s and I refuse to do anything but LT. I want the warm body next to me all night. I want to wake up with her in the morning. This service is easy to find among providers over 30 - perhaps 10-20% do so provide. For quite a few of them it is their big selling point that keeps them busy despite not looking so good anymore.

Under 25 it is so rare as to be almost nonexistent (as we all know girls under 25 are not very common in the business anymore, even for ordinary service). If you're lucky you might find one in that 25-30 sweet spot who can do the Third Way. Keep looking!

The location in the middle of the Soi6 rodeo leads to a crazy time there too.

My net is that the most efficient and reliable way to a good time is to hit the Walking Street Go Go bars, find a girl there, test drive her there and pay the bar fine. You know what you're getting, you've got some idea of her cooperation of lack of it, and you can get her to your place instead of some God-forsaken dive who-knows-where. My sense of the bar girls was a very high percentage of older girls, certainly eager and active, but not too attactive to my taste. I had two exceptions. Both small bars off the beaten path. 5 Feb nights in Pattaya.

Came down from Isan with a wingman to see 2 mates over on their annual visit.

Booked into the excellent Pasadena Lodge again in Soi LK Metro, 1000 THB per night all inclusive for the Classroom. No brekkie. Cash only.

First night was spent catching up and drinking too much and visiting too many Go Go bars. No action from me although 1 guy BF'd a girl from the Iron Club which he had previously encountered prior to my arrival. 650 THB BF and 2000 THB LT so I am told.

Beach Road has a bunch of girls. Some really skanky. But some who are very young and cute. I got a pair from there and also met two who were just Thai tourists! We had a good time and being Thai, they took me to some good local places outside of the sex trade which was a nice alternative for a day and a half. Nice girls.

The prettiest girl I saw (most were too "ethnic" for me with farm girl feet and hands), worked in a Lady Boy bar with her family. She should be a model someplace and was just lovely to look at. The best time was a Go Go Girl from a side street off Walking Street who impressed my by the whipped cream she'd put on her nipples for me to lick off (in the bar). A piece of work and really fun. I went back a few times, but I forget the name.

I thought the airport themed place on Walking Street was the craziest of the Go Go bars. The Marines were in town as part of maneuvers and you had to be careful because of the ruckus they caused wherever they were. A good bunch of guys though who deserved the break and took every advantage of it.

If you have not been to Pattaya. Go. It's not something you will see anyplace else and everything (EVERYTHING) is on sale at bargain prices.

No problem bringing girls to the Marriott. They've got good security and they'll salute you and the girl as they open the elevator for you. If the girl(s) look questionable at all, the guard will hold her ID until she comes back from her visit (LT or ST). I had that happen 1 of five times.

Is that true. We stayed in the Marriot some 4/5 years ago, and were stung by the hotel charging to bring our guests back. If it's changed, may book Marriot again as we're looking to go in April.

TIAYea, it's true. I was surprised. I walked some "guests" around to see the pool and all and never had an eyebrow raised. I was there for five nights, though so they knew me and the girls I brought back were dressed decently. It's a great place to stay with lots of room a great pool, huge beds and co-located with the mall. It's not more than three hundred meters (four blocks?) from the entrance to Walking Street. There's an entrance on 2nd road and one off Beach Road. Both entrances and the grounds are well-patrolled by security guys who seem to love to salute. Getting the girls to return their salute or to salute them first seems to crack everybody up pretty well.

The food is good and the girls who work the bar are sweet and friendly.

Yeah, I remember that I had the one with the chequer dress in my room on my last holiday (June 2009) in Pattaya. She stayed opposite Royal Garden Plaza. I used to fight with taxis and tolls and all of the other BS. Now I just send them an email and they take care of the rest with no negotiation and no BS. http://www.pattaya-taxi.com/ I always give the driver a few hundred Bt for good service, they have to live too.

I've been to Pattaya many, many times. Already "know everything". Tried this taxi service, and I'll use it from now on. No hassle. Driver waiting with my name. Even an old dog can learn new tricks... Thank you, and now passing on my recommendation too. I've already booked my return to the airport with them.

I've stayed at the Marriott for the past 10 years, back when it was the Royal Garden Hotel, and still somewhat "new". I've never had to pay a girl-fee or had to have them show their ID at the desk (though I realize that is for my protection). One of the more expensive hotels, definitely not cheap. But so dang convenient to everything, and a short walk or baht bus to Walking Street. And I do feel like General MacArthur when I walk by security, getting the salute, before I go to my room with my girl and become the benevolent dictator.

Angel Witch: Wasn't a fan. Unattractive girls. Most of them were 5s. Lots of thigh cellulite. The shows were boring and seeing those thighs covered in oil was not pretty. Only redeeming quality was some of the waitresses are pretty cute.

Baccara: Some cute girls here. Mostly 6s and 7s, a few 8s. Nice club layout. I stayed here a while.

Dollhouse: Mostly 6s. The mamasan is very pushy and annoying. Club not laid out well and not too enjoyable to hang out in. A/C was blasting and I was freezing and so eager to leave.

At Nana, Rainbow bars have the rep for best lookers (for this type of venue at least) -- when I was there last over a year ago, it was Rainbow 4 on the middle level, but I've heard these days Rainbow 2 has taken the lead.

I guess some here would say that the gentleman clubs and coyote bars are the ones with the hottest girls, and I guess they're not as accessible or affordable of course as in the go-gos. I haven't tried those types of venues so am not the person to ask.

For FL, there's some places that get more expensive and generally hotter ones than elsewhere (thinking of Spasso and places like that.. .again, need to ask the expats here who know better)

Pretty girls are rare in Thailand, imho. But, one who likes tiny girls can have fun there. One who prefer leggy and curvy girls will not have the best time in Pattaya, imho.
I usually find some from that type in the FL spots, like Insomnia, MixX, Walking Street Club, etc. But, all in all I am not impressed with the beauty of Thai girls. The reason why I nevertheless like to spend my holliday's in Thailand is, that LOS has still the best package.
Regarding GoGo's it's difficult to give a advice, since quality of girls will change quite often. On season the one bar has one or a few good looking girls, the other season another bar. So, best is you just have a look in every bar.

Same owner as Peppermint and Happy and another bar.... You come walking out the side soi that Happy is on and you just about run into it on Walking street.

Same set up as in BKK with glass and can look up on second floor but they have a pole where the girls can slide down from the second to the first floor. Is new just opened in Dec I think... so it is clean and set up kind of nice.

Girls are NOT better they just moved from Peppermint over and and added a few new girls. But less loud and crowded then Peppermint was. Too many Senior Citizens running into Peppermint to buy ladies drink upon drink and such...

Baccara in pat's was less crowded and more friendly as it was a new club and LARGER then most / many clubs so more space. But pricing is same, I just don't see how some ugly girls at like DollHouse and others think they are worth the barfine plus their fee...

I guess some guys are just blind dumb and stupid....

Just left Thailand after having had to go to Bangkok for work plus tagged on a couple of days R'n'R in Pattaya. I shall not be going back to Pattaya. Apologies in advance if I upset anyone here but I'd like to point out some of my observations on Pattaya:
1. The place is full of washed up old losers from Europe/US who are obviously there on a long term basis and really don't do anything for the city's image, a real bunch of scruffy, fat old wasters...or worse...God only knows what the Thais think of them, and what do they do all day? Many just sit on Beach Road drinking their takeaways and letching at the girls which must really [CodeWord140] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord140) off the pros
2. Coach loads of Japanese tourists bussed in daily
3. Many Indian and Arab tourists
4. Way too many beer bars or maybe just quiet right now but the average bar girl is just that...pretty average
5. Beach Road...God what a bunch of old hags but ocassional treat, tried a couple but was very disappointed
6. However all the above was mitigated by a girl I met on my last night just as I was really abandoning all hope. Walking down Beach Road I started chatting to a reasonable looking girl...not young but not old (29 I found out), always ask how long she has been in Pattaya (so as to determine attitude, ie the shorter the better) turns out 1 month and she hated the place. Then I ask about family, where from etc (to determine motivation). Seems she has a daughter back home in Isaan somewhere that she is devoted to and is only doing it for her, calls back every night, wants to earn enough to support her etc...seemed reasonable enough plus she was not in your face like many a Thai but rather a shy, introverted type which I thought must be at odds with her chosen way to earn a wage.
Anyway I ask her how much and she didnt really seem to know so I took her back to my hotel, would decide later whether long or short time. After she relaxed she just wouldn't let me sleep, was permanently wet and well really made up for the fact I was in such a shitty town. We had breakfast together, said our goodbyes and I got a taxi to the airport and am now elsewhere in Asia and happy to be away from Pattaya...what a dump.

I certainly agree with points 1, 2, 3. I especially hate the attitude of many falling who inhabit Pattaya. I encounter them on their visa runs elsewhere in SE Asia. I stay away from Walking St. and all the usual bullshit that goes with it. In Pattaya I either go stay with friends or in a GH in Jomtien.

But I find that the Beach Road scenario is wonderful. I don't go there too late and I always make sure that I avoid the haggard, inebriated or weird types. If I spot someone that seems nice, I usually stop and sit with the girl and check her out by asking polite questions, as if I am chatting her up. I can do this without commitment. If it turns out that there is something about the woman that I don't like, I make charming excuses like "you are so nice but tonight I have no power." By taking my time and waiting until I find a good one, I have never had a bad experience back in my room with a girl from Beach Road. Now that the economy is not great, there are even factory girls to be found there. Treat them with respect and be nice and you will have a great or the closest thing to a GFE that you will ever have. I have even taken a few on as temporary girlfriends for a few days - something I never do with professionals in Bangkok.

This is true, and I find it depressing seeing them sitting at the bars every day with a beer, but they're all over thailand, so I don't know why you're citing it as evidence against Pattaya specifically.

Exactly how I described it in my book:

Groups of girls, young and old, pretty and not so pretty, were loitering. One did say 'I go with you. ' I didn't.

Groups of tourists were also hanging about and, some were sitting on a small wall that ran along the Beach Road separating, the actual beach, from the pavement. Many of these tourists looked decidedly disheveled. Greasy hair, unshaven, clothes looking like they had not been washed in days and, drinking from bottles of beer. They reminded me of the days gone by when I used to take the underground trains in London. Vagrants, would always hang around in the under ground walkways, sheltering and collecting change from the busy commuters who would all be rushing to their next destinations. These couldn't be the same guys could they? Did they really collect enough change to afford holidays in Thailand? I moved swiftly on as one of the loitering older, not so pretty girls, moved in on one of the vagrant tourists. I just about over heard her opening lines 'you handsome man. I like you. I go with you'.

I was in Pattaya the first part of Feb . and stoppe din to Baccara. It looks new and seems to be a clean place. Again s, same set up as in BKK with glass sealing. Place is smaller that BKK but the help didn't seem as pushy as they are in BKk. Some cute girls like most places, but not all wil fit the bill. It is on walking street on the ocean side. Girls seemed friendly when I was in there. Didn't to about BF or anything so no knowledge about that.

Just to follow up what I wrote earlier and to banish any misconceptions people have about my observations:
1. I am not ageist, I would criticise younger people who couldn't be bothered to make the slightest effort in terms of personal hygiene and appearance and generally are an eyesore to anyone who is unfortunate enough to pass by...

2. Japanese, Indian and Arab tourists help the reader understand the cultural nuances at work when they are in an alien environment and interact with the local populations. For example a mass of Japanese following a tour guide with a flag...get the picture? General Arab attitudes towards females...comprendez?

3. Actually it is my second time to Pattaya, was there once a few years back but with a mixed group m/f and there for other reasons than mogering (even though that was also done) so I can compare then and now. Now is simply worse than then but as one poster suggested, there is Jomtien and around which I have not been to...I have been as far north as Mae Sai and south to Songklah so I have an idea of the real Thaialand. For the beach Hua Hin in retrospect is probably more my bag so to speak

Bloke, I'm sure there are quite a few ISG members that agree with you to some extent. But as Tansak says, you must visit Pattaya a number of times before you can really say you know it well enough to truly pass judgment.

It's my opinion that if you have a firm grasp of working Thai women, with a little effort you could find a fun, nice-looking woman in Pattaya. Granted, she will know most of the tricks of her trade, but that would not be an issue if you set her straight from the get go.

Watching the moon set over a tiny pond half covered with gorgeously opened lillies in the mountains while you drink rice moonshine and eat dried fish and fresh papaya is another example.

The fireworks at Suhothai on the night of Loi Krathong is in there.

Watching some Thai guys beat the living shit out of an odious, obnoxious farang thug who is twice as big as the largest of them and who truly deserves it is not too far from it.

Being the only farang at a huge regional fair and being adopted by some locals, and eating and drinking and visiting the local brothel for a shag from a beautiful farm girl in a tiny cubicle while your new friends do the same on the other side of the cardboard walls for 200 baht could qualify.

Crying as you watch an impoverished child die of malaria before you and his mom who you just met at the bus station who couldn't afford the fare so you voluteered to help her get him to the hospital counts.

Can do a few of these things in Pattaya for sure. I'm not trying to suggest that there isn't more to Thailand outside of Pattaya, however. There is of course. The reality, though, is that Pattaya does represent "real thailand". It is one of the parts where the worst and ugliest of thais tend to congregate, but it is "real". It's a place where Thais really show their true colors. They're not hiding so much behind their smiles like they do in other parts of the country.

I'll share my views of some of the places in Pat. Let the slagging begin. It's only my 2 baht's worth, and I'm no expert. Just experienced.

TQ; didn't know Steve Donovan had died. I've been in a rather isolated country for the past couple of years, and hadn't heard (no P4P there, so not worth mentioning). OK place to hang, not a flock of stunners, and the same music from the 70's that they've always played. Still my favorite daytime go-go. Told my buddy that place hasn't changed a bit from my first visit almost 20 years ago.

Happy; was always my "go-to" place for the stunners, but was somewhat underwhelmed this time. Probably my first time in years I haven't barfined a girl from Happy.

Peppermint; good also, lots of girls. No real head-turners, but plenty of cuties.

Insomnia disco; like this place a lot, but doesn't get going until well after midnight. Has a bevy of hotties late, like someone else mentioned, probably go-go girls after work. Hooked up with a young hottie who did not disappoint. Tried to find her a week later, but alas, had to choose some other hottie.

Marine disco; a good place, as it always has been for years. My preference is Insomnia, for a late-night disco.

Baccara; new place with quite a collection of the upper quality. Have taken back a couple from there, and was not disappointed. Baccara, Happy, Peppermint and Beach Club are all owned by the same owners, Mr. Mac and Mr. Gulp (sp?), who also own the local go-kart racing track at Mini-Siam (not Easy Kart). These four clubs always tend to have the hotter women, though this year Beach Club was also a bit disappointing. Those two owners seem to have the hook-up through the Mamasans as far as hiring the hotter women (and yes, prices reflect that).

I guess Coyotes has closed? Angel Witch had some entertaining shows, but no real stunners I'd like to go home with. Club Boesche' was a bust; disappointed. Beach Road girls have never been my thing, and so this year I walked the road a few times at night to check it out. I'm scared. I know some of you have had good luck there. Wasn't my thing though.

Once I got off the train in Surin the day after the elephant roundup. Literally hundreds of elephants were milling around the plaza that is right outside the train station there, waiting for a train that was to take them back to their homes.

I walked around in the sea of huge (and some small ones, too) animals, the only long nose in sight. One of the mahouts reached down and pulled me up on to his animal with him. He was from Ayuthaya. I had about 3/4th of a large bottle of Mekhong in my daypack. He and I and a few of the other mahouts passed it around and ate bags of boiled fresh peanuts. Spent about an hour up there using a combo of my very poor Thai and Souay language skills, a dictionary, and sign language to joke around. It was a gas. All I "paid" was the bottle. Very cheap date!

I didn't like seeing how hard they hit their beasts though. They use what look like two pound sledgehammers to whack them on the top of the head REALLY hard. I guess you need to hit 'them that hard to get their attention.

I must admit that I often prefer the shy ones, and I spend a little time chatting with them before making (or not) a deal, so, that helps a lot to avoid the less interesting ones (at least, according to me) and the too hardened pros.

I too treat the P4P girls respectfully, but not as if they were really my regular girlfriends. I don't want to get too much involved emotionally with them. It's too much trouble sooner or later, IMHO.

About 10 years ago, on my second or third trip to Pattaya, a girl that I've met on my previous visit wanted to be with me during the last 10 days of my stay. She did not want any money from me, but just a one-baht (the unit of weight for gold = 15.2 grams approximately) jewellery (a necklace) that I bought on the last day of my stay. At that time (year 2000), her necklace cost me just a little bit more than 6000 baht. She could have earned 10000 baht (1000 baht LT per day) instead (and could have bought herself a more expensive gold jewel), so, it was a bargain, but she just wanted to be able to say (to her friends and family, for instance) that I have offered her this necklace.

I am not proud about it, but I've had a very difficult time on the next trip to Pattaya to get rid of her. This girl considered that I was her boyfriend then, even if I never sponsored her (nor any other girl by the way), just because I offered her (following her own suggestion) a gold jewel (not even a ring).

Therefore, I recommend to pay the P4P girls with money, and to not offer them any gold jewellery (if they really want one, they can buy it with the money that you pay for their services) or anything that could make them believe that you want to be their boyfriend (at least, if you don't want to be too much emotionally involved with these girls).

Be careful with freebies too in Thailand, especially if you don't want to have any commitment with the local girls: more often than not (at least, according to my own experience), freebies are not really "free" at the end of the day or may get you into trouble sooner or later.

In fact I can tell you exactly the last time a group of strangers gave me food and drink and then assumed I'd pay for it: 1984, Chiangmai. And they were the kind of people who probably would have done it to a Central Thai too.

Diceman, you are making inaccurate generalizations from your own perhaps not so broad experience. What you say does apply to the world most visitors see, but not to Thais as a whole.

I also only go short time with prostitutes (though I find them to be mostly very nice people, I have no interest in further interactions), but in my professional life, dating, and friendships I know many very intelligent, informed, and well-educated middle and upper-middle class Thais. You are quite right that most Thais are very shallow minded - but no more so than the majority of Americans or Englishmen. I've lived here for years, have quite close friendships, never pay for anything with normal people (always 'American shares' or 'Dutch Treat' unless the Thai boss or institution pays). I even find that the majority of working class people undercharge me or at least never overcharge me for services - for example seamstresses, repairmen and the like always charge me the same or less than my Thai friends pay.

Guys who spoil sex workers are fools!If you look back on Samui and Phuket 15 years ago, everything was reasonably priced, visitors were not overcharged, and basically, locals were incredibly nice, seeing tourism as a great money maker and very happy to give good service. These days, I wouldn't touch Samui or Phuket with a 10 foot pole, horribly overpriced food, transport, and all else, and the service is fake and interested in only one thing. Most of this is due to years of tourists with fat wallets and a live and let live attitude not caring about what anything cost or attempting to understand the local economy or local prices.

The waitress doing nothing and laughing with the girl and then the mamasan blowing me off was giving me bloodlust. I'm a quiet dude and normally don't cause any problems.

My first impression of Pattaya was that, apart from packing an outstandingly large concentration of working girls in a relatively small area, the city has the most open scene I have encountered so far. I have been to other mongering destinations in Thailand (Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Phuket, Ko Samui) and elsewhere, but never found any other place so openly sex-oriented as this city. In my experience, bordellos, saunas and girl bars are either sparsely located within otherwise touristy areas (as in Shanghai or Hong Kong), concentrated in shady neighborhoods (as in some areas of Bangkok) or even situated in industrial zones or in the countryside, far from major urban areas (like some of the best FKK clubs in Germany). Even in Changping, Dongguan province, hailed as the ultimate mongering destination in China (and for good reason), the action takes place inside hotels and sauna clubs, with no colorful neon signs outside bars or obvious street scene.

In Pattaya, though, everything happens pretty much in your face. Girls are available everywhere – on the street, in the bars, in the go-go joints, in the discos. Mingled with all that, a great number of foreign tourists. Not only fellow mongers, but also families, old couples and – at least during the particular weekend we were there – a large array of Eastern European beauties in tiny shorts and sexy dresses. With all this energy mix, the vibe of this place couldn’t be anything else but awesome!

We arrived early on Saturday and, once the night came, went out hunting. We first visited a few go-go bars on Soi 15 and were less than impressed with the selection of girls on either Babydolls or Shark. Ended up choosing two girls from Roxy, on Walking Street. Mine was by far the most beautiful girl in the bar, with very fair skin, beautiful features (she actually looked Japanese), shapely boobs and a round, firm ass. Her name was Paan and she said she was 21. I was so much struck by her attractiveness that I forgot to read the signs of trouble – however obvious they were. She asked for THB 2000 short time. It seemed too much, so I said I would agree only if she would stay with me for two hours. Then, she said I should pay her in advance, something I’ve been long enough in the road to fall for. After some back and forth, and a little help from the mamasan (actually, a ladyboy whose main job, apparently, is to push you into buying lady-drinks), she agreed to stay for two hours and to be paid after the deed. That alone should have sent me the right message (no payment usually means poor performance), but still I didn’t listen.

My friend also made his choice and we decided to head back to the hotel. I paid the barfine for my girl (THB 600) and we left. On the way back to our car, she asked me why didn’t I get one of the short-time hotels around Walking Street. I said we’d be more comfortable in my hotel room, but that was another good indication of how fast she wanted to get rid of me. I mentioned the name of my hotel (Dusit D2 Baraquda) and she said, “Oh, my sister works there”, but she was actually referring to Dusit resort, up at the opposite end of Beach road, on north Pattaya.

Paan was indeed stunning, and I was immediately aroused once we arrived in my room and she undressed. Curvy body, beautiful nipples, soft skin. However, as you all can imagine by now, she had a bit of an attitude. She wouldn’t do a proper BJ, no matter how much I insisted, and kept trying to hurry me into putting a condom and get it over with. Then she said “This is why I don’t like to go with older men, there is always a problem”, to which I replied, “you don’t like older men, you shouldn’t be in this business”. After a while, a little more collected, she asked me if I would pay her THB 1,500 (the same amount my friend had agreed with his girl), and I agreed, just so she would leave and not make more of a scene. We were standing there and discussing for a couple of minutes and, as much as I know that Dusit D2 is girl-friendly, I’m sure management wouldn’t be happy if they received a complaint about a working girl and a hotel guest making a scene at the aisle of one of the accommodation floors. Eventually, her girlfriend left my friend’s room and they both left the hotel (apparently they had reached an arrangement between themselves to milk these two silly bastards as fast as possible and swiftly go back to Roxy for another round). All in all, still a good experience (I still fondly remember her great shapely ass!!).

On Sunday, it took us a while to realize that the Buddhist holiday meant a dry-day (no alcohol sold), which in turn implied that most girl bars and certainly all go-go bars were closed. We tried a number of places and went up and down Beach Road and Second Road a few times before finally giving up. Later at night, after my friend had already called it a day, I convinced myself that no Buddhist holiday should keep me from finding company in Pattaya and out I went again. The streets were almost desert, all lights were out in Soi 6 and the scene at other alleys was just as dismaying, with just a few stranded WGs and the odd policeman. I ended up finding a mildly interesting girl in front of Fungirl bar, on the alley between Soi 7 and 8. She was called Som (like “orange” in Thai, or so she told me) and had exotic features, which wouldn’t be enough to grab my attention if we were at a go-go bar, but at that point I was not about to be particularly picky. I offered THB 500 for short time, she didn’t move. I raised it to THB 700 and she agreed. There was no bar fine, since the bar was closed and she was just hanging out there. Funny enough, we ended up having a great time. She gave me a nice and relaxed BBBJ and did not hurry me to finish. Quite the opposite, she actually wanted to stay for long-time (provided I doubled her pay). But I prefer to sleep by myself, so I kindly invited her out after paying her.

On Monday, my friend and I went to the beach in north Pattaya. After some sun bathing and beers, we decided to visit the soapie Sabai Dee before lunch. It is located just one block away from the beach, on Second Road. The fishbowl had some 13-15 girls at 2pm, mostly average-looking, no stunners. Service was THB 1,900. Interesting detail on this particular establishment is that the fishbowl is located on a large area, together with the reception desk (where you pay for the service) and a dozen tables were punters seat and make their choices while having a drink. My experience with picking a girl from the fishbowl comes mostly from China, where the “fishbowl moment” is just this – a moment. You stand there for a few seconds with someone from management putting pressure on you to choose a girl and go to your room. In Sabai Dee, we took our seats and discussed the options leisurely over drinks. The only pressure was that the other punters would sometimes chose the girls we were seriously considering taking. We finally made our choices and went to the rooms. Routine was very similar to that in Bangkok, except that here the girls insisted on CBJ (it happened to both me and my friend). Overall, not a memorable experience, but a very convenient option, close to the beach and available during the day, while bars and go-go joints are still closed.

On Monday night, we did another round of go-go bars and barfined two girls from Living dolls. My friend got the best looking of the girls available. closer to central festival the prices go up around 2nd road/soi 10-13 it's 600-800 baht and no wifi. i'd personally rather walking street and take the mini-pickup trucks for 10 baht.

I think that one bar is an exception. I've visited many bars and almost never had a problem with just ordering something and just hanging out--yes, sometimes they will ask for LD's but just smile and say it's still early and you're still working on it and they will leave you alone. There are so many bars in pattaya that if one or two give you problems, simply make a note of it and reported back here for us to avoid and move on to the next bar.

You mention Go-go bars and yes, they have the highest barfines, the common bars are much cheaper (both barfines and the ladies)

Sorry for the late report, was in Pattaya for a week on February. Stayed at Hotel Aiyara, great hotel, large rooms and no extra fees for guests, was totally girl-friendly.

Clubs, I visited;

Tonys: an American style club, bowling and billiards. Not so hot girls. Girls ask for 1000-1500 bahts for LT. Ask for Mee, she has great services.

Lucifer: Great club, live music, too loud music.

Mixx: the best in Pattaya, you may find Russian girls too. Full of hot girls

Thats a no brainer as far as I'm concerned, and you yourself must be stupid if you think its ok to do so. We as human beings love and nurture our children right? These stupid thais have no regard for the safety of there children, which brings me back to my earlier post about how they don't even love there own kids, so, work this one out if you can. Hi. I've been lurking on this board since about '94. This my second post. Background on me: proud cheap charlie. Been going to Pattaya since 2000, and love it here.

So, while in Pattaya, where do I NOT pick up gals? Rare to never that I get 'um in go-gos or bar-beers. In last five years I doubt I picked up more than half-dozen in these places.

Where DO I pick up the gals? Nearly everywhere else. Walking street. 7-11s. Beach Road. 2nd road. Outside of bars. Walking Street. As they go to work. As they leave work. Just outside of Tony's (I never walk in because the place a ripoff). Outside of Lucifers. And Lucifers itself, Xzyte. All the different streets. As they eat. As they go home.

And oh yea, did I mention Walking Street?

Generally when I stay here, it for 3 to 7 weeks at a time, figure three to six times a year. In past five years, I doubt I've paid more than a handful of bar fines. With no insult. OK, perhaps some insult, as far as I am concerned, farangs who frequent go-gos and bar fine those gals are ding dongs. Having way more money than sense.

That said, there are a few go-gos which I do go when entertaining friends, in the same way you may go to a nicer restaurant w/ friends. But never bar fine and rarely lady drinks.

Today however, am rather not happy. Whenever I get a freelancer in my room am always careful with my belongings. Yes, I found her on WS at 3: AM and yes we agreed to 500 baht ST and 1000 LT (as I always specify ST and LT pricing and this has been my standard compensation for the ladies since the year 2005). She was from Laos, 80 kilos, while skin, and hot hot as hell. And I do mean super incredibly hot! When in the room after ST she wanted to leave. Fine. I myself let my guard down, and am not certain exactly how but she somehow swiped my wallet and left. The hotel called me as she left, and I OKed it, not realizing until morning my wallet gone.

The wallet had about $150 US. So, yes this morning I exchanged a few hundred dollars and bought another wallet for 300 baht.

Here is the point: Last night myself and friend did a small bar hop on WS, and went to a few go-gos. Apparently, he commented and I assume it factual, that go-gos on WS now charge 600 baht plus for bar fine and the gal charges 1500. 2000 baht for ST. Also you must pay for those overpriced drinks, and a LD or two, cost is well over $100, and could be even $150.

Do you feel de-masculated yet? If not, you should. Makes mi pecker shrivel.

Yes yes, you may argue that I lost cash, never to be seen again. However, I counter that it my own stupidity, and I have no doubt that any go-go / bar beer gal could do the same, and get away with it (after all, how can you PROVE that a gal took it).

This is the first time ever a gal stole from me (friends of mine in the States lost over a million from their X wives, don't get me started). But anyone who frequents the go-go / bar-beer loses far more. And worse is that these ding-dongs do not realize that they got robbed!

Most are also unaware that go-go gals are overall spoiled and terrrrrrible in the sack, versus the FLs, who really need to earn their money.

My personal lesson is this a wakeup call to be bit more careful in future. And yes, tonight I will have yet another FL. Once you FL, you never go back. There no other way.

your message was mysteriously aggressive, for reasons that I do not understand. But I am going to respectfully disagree with you.

I think the concept of a BF is rather odd to begin with, and I too was uneasy with the idea at first. I posted a while ago about some guy who went in to a gogo bar and literally stuck his tongue down a girls throat to see how she reacted. Yes, you pay ridiculous prices for watered down drinks, and then you pay a stupid 600B for the girl, and yes, that is all ridiculous, but you get something for it. If you are wise, and you know what you are doing, you pick up on the cues that are there for all to see, and you sift out the bad gogo girls from the gems. You use your brain, you take a slight hit in the wallet, but then you get your brains fucked out like few FL would ever do for you. That at least is the concept.

I would say that over the last year, of the 20 or so FLs that I have picked up (most in BKK, some in Pattaya), around 1/3 have been fantastic, 1/3 have been terrible, and 1/3 have been so-so. And of the 40 or so gogo girls I have been with, I would say 2 or 3 of them have been awful, perhaps 20 have been spectacular, and the rest were so-so. In my experience, therefore, the risk of taking a FL is greater than a gogo girl.

That is purely my own experience, and not an indictment of your post. Now, given that, if I were to take the leap and say that all guys who prefer FLs are

I'm in Vietnam and I see that despite helmet laws being instituted a couple years back and all motorbike riders complying, still MOST kids don't have helmets. For some reason the govt wrote the law exempting small children from having to wear the helmets. And I bet if you asked why, they'd tell you: it stops their heads from growing.

So the answer, I think, is that on this matter at least, most people here in SEA are not intelligent.

we are just generalising right! but all points are well taken!

here's my generalization in regards to motorcycle riding in pattaya. in the several years you've had stories from politicians to police chiefs saying how everyone must wear a helmet. just last year the pattaya police representatives went to the local thai school stressing how important it was for them to wear helmet. yet when the lecture was over he left the school on his motorbike without a helmet! yet when i take and pick up my son at his school in north pattaya.. naklua..photosan rd. where there are several public schools it is a daily rat race with kids 90% without helmets. this area is heavily patron by police yet there seem to be no law enforcement whatsoever!

thailand wants to have laws like the west, cell phone, helmet, but can't or won't enforce these laws. instead do spot checks on farangs on beach rd, to let the toursist feel that laws are strict here. mushroom helmets that have little standand but will help if you were only following the speed law. ask a thai what is the speed limit? flashing red line? solid white line? double yellow line? flashing yellow light? they don't have no idea! in many cases the traffic police causes more problems than help. it makes me laugh when i see a guy flying down sukhumvit at 100km with a mushroom helmet and shirt or jacket flying out like a spoiler on a car like it is going to save his life. moron you say and the answer is correct!

laws that are made are to be enforce and i'm reflexible enough to understand the argurment that thais are poor and sometimes the motorbike is all they can afford and riding 4 is the only way from point a to b. i have no problem if this is done safely but kids fying and speeding and no enforcement because the reasoning is how else are they going to get to school because the parents are working so hard.

in the end... i can't understand a culture that seems to pride themselves in mai pen rai, seems to be in such a hurry in their bikes and cars to kill themselves and yet if you were to question the manner in which they are driving they wouldn't have a clue as to what you are talking about. because even with the laws it is their culture, parenting bleeding exceptance decades after decades to their sons and daughters. in my neighbor i see the kids at 12 already training to ride all without helmets! it isn't even mentioned!

we can't stop it unless they themselves want to change and help themselves meantime it is a tool to control the population maybe along with all the other reasons that have been brought up! personally if i see someone driving safely and need help i get out and help even if it's not the thai way, but if the guy deserves it i only stop to see if he is alive and if so " ask them if it hurts " smile and drive off.

in pattaya, drive defensively at all times to avoid contact with thai drivers. and i know thai's that have cars that wouldn't be caught dead on a motorbike because the myth is they don't want to get dark or they think their shit don't spell if they lower themselves like other thais.

we can ***** and moan all we want and it does help,,, and the place is like the wild wild west but at the end of the day most of you guys live and visit because you can get a good pair of lips around your little none thinking head and while you watch her head go up and down your big or little shaft we just say wtf life is good!

Hi,

I'm looking forward to come to pattay for 3 days. As I'm planning on a budget trip can you'll recommend some good clean and secure place. I will be traveling on my own. I want to try the gogo bar concept so it would be great if I can find my hotel near these so won't have to walk allot middle of the night on my return back to the hotel.

I'm sure there are many tourist who are looking for the same information that I'm requesting. So please be kind enough to help in with all your experiences.

As said, I cheap charlie. Do not waste even a baht away.

Eg: Hotel I was staying at since 2003 always charged me 500 baht/night. They charged others 600 baht, but for me less, I assumed that I got the better price since I a frequent customer there for over 6 years, always pay my bill, and never a problem. However, this trip they wanted 600 baht.

Fine. I left. There no reason at all to overpay here in Pattaya for a reasonable and clean hotel. And, personally I will pay 500 baht. Or less. It is IMO crazy to pay over 1000 baht nightly for a room. And ding-dong means just that: crazy.

I left that hotel which I knew, loved, and had so many great memories in, and am now in another. Cost is. Yes. Exactly 500 baht. And, if this one raises their price, I found four other hotels at that 500 baht or less price point. For me, if I break that 500 baht barrier, not good. Yes, for me it crazy.

Actually, I kinda like this new place even more than the former place anyway.

Had another FL last evening, and will grab one tonight. Man, many of them are real strong. They earn their money. Not like those spoiled overpriced go-go gals.

It's crazy (AKA: ding-dong) IMO to spend go-go prices. Near guaranteed over 3000 baht total after you're finished w/ those LDs, BF, overpriced drinks, and the rest of the crap. If you want to waste hard earned cash in this poor economy, you have my blessings to do so.

Today however, am rather not happy. Whenever I get a freelancer in my room am always careful with my belongings. Yes, I found her on WS at 3: AM and yes we agreed to 500 baht ST and 1000 LT (as I always specify ST and LT pricing and this has been my standard compensation for the ladies since the year 2005). She was from Laos, 80 kilos, while skin, and hot hot as hell. And I do mean super incredibly hot! When in the room after ST she wanted to leave. Fine. I myself let my guard down, and am not certain exactly how but she somehow swiped my wallet and left. The hotel called me as she left, and I OKed it, not realizing until morning my wallet gone.

WOW....Amazing how everyone is a Ding-dong but you. Hope you enjoyed your 176 pound spinner from Laos.

I'm a FL guy myself. I'm batting 1000. I never have trouble with FL here in Pattaya. It's usually a GFE. As a matter of fact I always have to kick them out. BKK is a different story.

Anyway the other day I was talking to one of my FL who used to be a waitress in an agogo. I was getting her to run the agogo phenomenon by me. Because I for one can't understand it. I grew up in strip clubs where they take all of their clothes off and shake asses. Seeing a bunch of girls on the stage in bikinis is rather boring to me. 1. Personally I don't like girls as thin as all the agogo ones seem to be. 2. After how many trips I still can't fathom the bar fine thing. 3. They are out of my mongering budget. I can get a LT disco FL on two different days for what 1 agogo girl will cost me. Or I can get 4-6 Beach Lode girls.

But I was asking this chick why guys like agogos. She said that it was because the girls are not shy. They will approach the guys and they are "spicy" (whatever that means). She also thought the girls and the drinks are overpriced.

But like I said, different strokes for different folks. I like Pattaya so much because of the variety. I can't understand guys who report saying what a bad time they had and how they could not find what they were looking for or something they liked. There is something for everybody here. Tall, short, light, dark, big, small..even girls with dicks or guys with tits. If you can't find it here it may be time to give the fuck up.

I love the smell of untreated sewage in the morning! Guess that means that I have been to Pataya again with its unique and heady aromatic mix of sea, shit and cheap sex. Great!!

Just a few short observations as I wasn’t there that long so will leave the longer, more detailed reports to others who know the place much better than I. Must admit that I bore even myself with the old nostalgia jag when I visit Pats these days, comparing the nasty, greedy, commercialized, ultra-materialistic shit hole that the place has become to the Pattaya of yore which might not have been so glitzy and exciting but at least had a heart (but still smelled of shit). But its not the sophisticated ambiance of the place that gets the punters rolling in.

Quality is still marginal at best with I guess 10% out-and-out woofers, 40% ‘I wouldn’t touch with yours’, 40% so-so and only 10% with a ‘whorrr’ factor (expression rather than profession). This is of course, purely a subjective opinion. The best been in the clubs and go-go bars and the worst been in the beer bars (although I did meet a couple of cute girls amongst the grannies).

Some recent reports had led me to hope that the quality on Beach Road had improved. Sadly, I did not find this to be the case during my visit. There were the occasional cuteys but the majority were the usual rough looking street hoofers that I recall from previous visits. One thing that I did notice was that the number of Indians trawling BR in packs had increased exponentially. Blame cheap budget air flights from the sub-continent but the threat is minimal at the moment as many of the better looking girls still turn their noses up at khaaks, partially due to colour (many Thais been racists) but also because they are perceived as cheap charlies, often refusing to pay more than 300 baht and demanding special services. This was all gleaned from a beach road girl so don’t shoot the messenger.

So what did I do during my short sojourn. I took a lovely, chubby little stewardess with fine big natural assets from Airport Club on my first night. Service was enthusiastic if a bit frenetic but she wouldn’t stay LT so it was two pops and she was gone. Had pre-negotiated the second pop before we left the bar.

Second night, as counterpoint, I went for a little Dick:eek:. Not what you might be thinking but a tiny little half Cambodian waif called Dick from Red Point. She might speak like Minnie Mouse but she turned out to be a great 3 hole PSE bonk. So I fluttered a few extra baht in her direction and persuaded her to waive the usual on-site rule and do an out call to my hotel the next night. She stayed the night and it was nearly as good as it gets.

A couple of daytime beer bar wenches completed my short Pattayan break. Not as vigorous as I used to be:).

Place might smell like shit but the pussy is still pretty sweet.

I previously reported that I hit Lolitta's right after checking into the Pasadnea Lodge. The service was very good with the lady immediately stripping and performing.

My second visit was not good however. I selected a lady...Cindy... and she was reluctant to take off any clothes. I literally had to unbutton her blouse and unhook her bra. She wouldn't take off her skirt claiming to be in her period. I said "no problem", but considering her attitude about taking anything off, I felt it was pretty suspect. After about 5 minutes of pretty mechanical bobbing, I asked for a different girl and offered her 200 bhat for her time. She claimed that would cost me an additional 700 on top of her fee, so I had her carry on. I finally called it quits without satisfaction. Neither of us were happy by now. I paid my tab while she lingered waiting for a tip or to escort me to the door. I sent her outside before having a private word with mammasan. Mammasan immediately asked if there was a problem with her not taking her clothes off. Perhaps Cindy had been the subject of a prior complaint. Mammasan told me (for your future reference) that you can change out a girl in the first 5 or 10 minutes if she's not satisfactory at no additional charge. Of course after 20 minutes...don't expect that kind of service. I explained my side of the story, complete with the 200 bhat offer and early request. Mammasan was most appologetic and eager to make things right. She offered me some kind of card for credit, but I was heading out to Bangkok within the hour and left. Bottom line: I think management wants their customers happy and will try to make things right. If your provider doesn't do it for you, change her out early, or walk out. Don't let the girl b.s. you with "not possible". Live and learn.

I'm more concerned how you been lurking on the board since 1994 and your contribution on here been zero, no doubt you gleaned a lot from here in all them trips you made here, time to put something back eh?Point well taken. I have gotten an incredible amount out of this forum, and am very very grateful for it. I not only read reports on these boards. I copy them, and then spend literally hours grabbing useful information from them. I may head to Chang Mai next trip. So, I will skim over thousands of pages in M$ word about Chang Mai and then make my own word file, and organize all this great information. ISG has truly outstanding info. After I skim and organize all it, I know places to stay, places to see, pricing, tips, secrets, the different arguments, and everything else.

I do get rather pissed off when people post something as:

"Hi. First time poster. Where can I can a girlfreindly hotel in Pattaya for under $150 and where can I find a girl. Duhhhhh".

And here I am, having spent hours, and skimmed thousands of pages overall on different areas in different countries, and you get those morons.

When I go Pattaya (as I am now at), always always always do FLs. Never a problem in 10 years. That time it was figure 4:30 AM, and my guard was down. Always set up the room properly. Always be careful. Those of you who think go-go gals are safer are 1. Kidding yourself and you're letting your guard down and you'll get bit, and 2. Paying OUTRAGEOUS amounts IMO. Now, if you're in Pattaya for only three days, first trip ever, then go ahead and spend cash like it stale. Waste cash to the hilt.

Personally since the year 2000 I've gone here 3-6 times a year for 3-5 weeks a pop. To me, it pragmatic and moral issue not to break the 500 baht nightly hotel barrier. And. This is important.

Do not complain of hotel price increases if you do not make a stand yourself.

Yea, I cheap. I cannot afford for example paying interest on my credit cards. If they raise my interest rate to 30 percent, make no difference at all because I pay off my credit card in full each and every month. If I had the money of Donald Trump, I still could not afford any interest rate or penalties.

Similarly, I see no reason at all to paying pimps at go-gos for a girl, any more than paying an Eskimo for snow. Girls are literally everywhere.

Be a man.

Meet her at her own level.

I thank, welcome, and respect our Subcontinental brothers for their stand on pricing, if in fact the stereotyping is true. I've sat and watched girl after girl go upstairs with these gentlemen, so I wouldn't be too quick to believe that the ladies refuse them as they like to claim. Such talk is familiar - 'I like England man because he have good heart, no like Yerman man, blah blah'. They always want to you to believe someone's a cheap Charley for paying the correct price. The real gem is the girl who provides good service to each and every man, equally, without denigrating them to the next customer.

I say thank you to each and every gentleman, regardless of skin colour or national origin, who holds the line on price (and demands decent service)!

Anyhow, I am a bit disappointed by the self-proclaimed king of cheap charlies: 500 bahts is a bit steep for Pattaya :)
An aircon-room at Prima Mansion is only 300 bahts (but often fully-booked), Prima Place has great 400 bahts a/c-rooms and 94 Mansion (on an even-numbered subsoi off Soi Khopai, not far from Thepprasit Road) has very decent fan-rooms for 250 bahts and aircon-rooms for 350 bahts.

I haven't slept in Pattaya hotels for a while now as I almost always stay at friends' or girlfriends' places but instead of paying for ST rooms, I prefer to "open" a cheap LT room which can be used up to X times within 24 hours.

Quick trip report from yesterday.

Now bit tired. Been banging every day, sometimes 2 or even three times/day for last two weeks. Pretty much going on dry. Needed a liftmeup. Got some Cialis. Just went to some pharm yesterday evening on 2nd Road about midnight and asked cost. Cost only 400 baht for four tablets for the indian generic. Not bad. On way home found older gal who wanted to go w/ me. She towards the opening of WS and worked in one of the nicer massage parlors. Really super hot body considering her age.

Found out she 40 years old. Her ass was near perfect. Shit. If US gals looked like she, most of my friends would have absolutely stay married. That's what I love about here. One day get gal who is 20 year old, next day 30 year old, and then 40 years old. Gal w/ no makeup and then gal w/ too much makeup. Then get fat gal, and then a thin gal. Then a pro, and then a non-pro. Everything goes.

Obsessions: Always enjoyed my stays there. Especially so after the renovation and, what have to be, the best wash rooms in town. I have always found the bar selection girls and lady boys, yes I sometimes take one of each to spice up my life, very good. Very modest price. Great shows & lovely costumes. I know where I will be on my next trip back.

Also, have you seen the rooms? Check them out next time.

I really have no time for these Pattaya Bashers. Where else in the world can you have fun like this for a few cents. But, alas I am afraid it will change.

Recently in Bangkok I was regularly quoted 4, 000 Baht (130 dollars) doe a short night. It seems the Japanese and other Asians now rule the roost.

I found this Go Go girl just two or three soi(s) before the Walking street. I forget the name of the bar but just near the second road. After entering the bar I take my drink and sat around the dancing stage. A girl grabbed me and continuously pushing me to take her on their room at up stair. But she was not on my taste. This girl was sitting far but realized I’v made my choice for her. She was showing her aggression like spreading her legs, Pushing up her breast, naughty looks etc. Finally I called her and opted to use my room paying barfine 600bht instead of paying 300bht for the room at up stair. She agreed 1500bht for LT. It was 2.00p.m. but surprisingly she agreed for the next morning.

It was seemed a nice bat but it was not. In the room she started her necking not to get her wash showing she is feeling cold. Finally my determination made her mood to wash but this made me so off and my little jhonny got sleepy while all the time it was walking in front of me. It was agreed issue that I’l pay her next morning; but after the wash she politely requested to pay half for her mental satisfaction and I paid with full of sour in my mouth.

After the session she started saying her baby is sick she wants to go for one hour to see the baby. I agreed and let her go. After 1.5 hr I realized she is not returning back and it make a relief for me.

It was so hard to carry her any more when it was seen a deep and broad baby stitch (very badly done) on her belly.

Day 1. After spending three weeks in the Philippines my friends and I gathered our stuff and flew to Bangkok from Clark on a Thursday evening for approximately $200 per person. Caught a metered taxi to Soi 6, found a cheap hotel and got some rest. We were all damn tired.

Day 2. Had breakfast in the morning, checked out of the rooms, then headed over to Soi 7 ½ to Edens to see what time they opened. 5PM…damn! I wanted to hang around Bangkok and wait for it to open, but was vetoed by friends who wanted to hurry down to Pattaya.

So we hired two taxis and took the two hour drive to Pattaya. We did separate searches for hotels when we got there and I found a place called Marine Yensabai Mansion. It has huge suites for 1326 baht and a disco on the 2nd or 3rd floor. We check in and get cleaned up. I’m noticing that the hotel mostly caters to Arabs. They seemed friendly enough though.

Me and a friend hit the streets early. I hadn’t been to Pattaya in several years and as I walked around the whole place seemed much more commercial than it was before. Most of the smaller open air bars were gone, replaced by giant open air bars with lots of colorful flashing lights, and the girls seemed older and more hardened. I didn’t like the new Pattaya.

We drank and ate at one of the many seafood restaurants along Walking Street, and met up with other friends. Drank into the evening and watched the crowd of walking tourists get larger and larger. Sat in one of the large open air bars and tried to talk with some of the girls. I wasn’t feeling it though. After years of going to the Philippines, and having just left there, I missed it already.

Later in the evening me and a friend saw two attractive girls walking along Walking Street. One was Skinny (just my type), and the other was thick (just my friends type). We stopped and chat them up then invited them to eat with us. More seafood. The food is still the highlight of any trip to Thailand. I love the food.

After dinner we invite them back to the hotel for more drinking and partying. They accept so we buy some beer and head to the hotel. Once in the room, my friends girl immediately strips down to her bra and panties. She’s got a damn nice body! We drink for a few hours, talking and getting to know our new girls. There English is not bad; pretty good in fact.

I kick my friend out and he goes to his room with his girl. My girl and I take showers, climb in the bed and do what most people who go to Pattaya do…screwed like rabbits! The only bad thing about the whole experience, the thing that really threw me for a loop was how fast the girl got dressed and left after I got my nut. Day 3. Checked out and moved to the Welcome Center Plaza Hotel on the advice of a friend. He had checked out earlier and relocated there. It was a much nicer place. Rooms were much cleaner and cost around 1550 baht. After check-in we headed to the mall for lunch. The mall used to be a great place to pick up freelancers ten years ago, but it seemed as deserted of girls as ever. Had lunch and returned to the hotel for a nap.

Barhopped the rest of the evening with friends and took many numbers of girls but just didn’t see anything that I had to have so I went back to the room drunk and slept fitfully through the rest of the night.

Day 4. During lunch with friends I told them I would be looking for a BJ bar or something like it to get some quick relief before I started partying that day. One of them told me to just order the massage from the hotel massage service and the girl would offer extra’s. So I did.

She came to my room with her oils and towels and got busy as I lay on my back. She flips me to do the front and noticing my huge woody asks if I want special service. A bj would be nice I say. I stand and have her sit on the edge of the bed. She does a pretty good bbbcim. I give her 1000 baht for the whole service.

Before long we’re each in our own rooms screwing our girls like rabbits again. This girl actually stays after the deed and gives me a second pop in the morning. I give her 1000 baht and tell her I’ll text her later.

Day 6. Some of the same activities as previous days but we end up at Lucifer Disco on Walking Street later that night. It’s loaded with freelancers. I end up with a tall girl with a nice body who has her own scooter. We scoot back to my hotel, take showers and have sex several times that night into next morning. That Cialis is a mofo! I gave her 1000 baht exchange emails and say goodbye. It’s time to head back to Bangkok to catch our flight back to the Philippines.

Just my 2 cents on what popper1 and kimbu have talked about regarding freelancers vs. bar or gogo girls. During my times in Pattaya I cannot say that I have found either bar or gogo girls to provide any better service then the freelancer.

That having been said I think it's important to take some care when choosing a freelancer. Taking one from a place like Insomnia I think is more risky because the music is too loud for one to be able to chat them up properly. I think it's far better to find one along Beach Road for instance. Walking down there and using the ocean as a backdrop casually saying hi especially to ones who show some interest in you. Once you see one you are interested in you should take some time and sit down and chat with her a bit. After some nice casual conversation you can wind the conversation down to sex, you can ask if she likes farlong men or likes "boom-boom". Ask her is she goes with you if she thinks she wil be able to enjoy boom-boom. Indicate to her that her enjoyment is important you. I think that through all this conversation you will be able to sense whether she will give you a good experience or not. If not, make some excuse to go and move on. Using this method, I have never had a bad experience and while nothing is full proof I think this method improves your odds dramatically.

For a couple of reasons. First, she will certainly try to poison your relationships with other beach road girls. You will still be able to pull, of course, but you will be labled as "bad" and it is likely to affect your future activities in a negative manner.

Second, some of these girls are crazy and have nothing to lose, or have some very wicked friends. And I mean truly evil, worse than anything most of us can imagine. I've met a few of these psycho's and they are extremely scary people. The science of cruelty and revenge in Asia is a highly developed art.

The last one, right before I was getting my bus to leave, asked for 1000 after. I was kind of surprised but she was really good and did everything I asked and I had about 800 in my wallet (the rest was in the safe) so I handed her that. I didn't want to open the safe so I told her I had to cash a travelers check when I got to Bangkok so that was all the cash I had. She was happy with it. I probably would have given her a good tip anyway, but it did bug me that she asked for 1000.

Sorry the only part of my post that was serious was the first sentence, basically that if you don't set the price beforehand, you lose your bargaining power and are at the mercy of her pressure tactics, like in this case. Just there's a good chance you'll have a bad scene afterwards (one of their main tactics in these situations), which for me at least kind of ruins the enjoyment of the whole thing.

But the rest of my post was meant to be silly/absurd. I should have put a smiley winky face after it. Of course she can't track you down -- only way she probably would be able to do that would be if you stayed in the same hotel you took her to. And even then, I highly doubt she's gonna f%@#! with you over 200 baht.

Still, if it was me, I would've just paid her the 200 or else agreed to meet her in the middle at 600, as long as she was willing to. I would've just kicked myself for not setting the price before hand. I still do that sometimes, by the way, but if a girl does pull that tactic afterward, then I blame myself for not controlling it better.

If he has 50,000 baht to spend on just a place to live.. then based on the way things are here. Who can you really trust issues? If what Datebayo wrote I would highly contact him. Experience and word of month is your best bet.

Happened to me once. Nothing was stolen because there was nothing to steal. That is the best protection against theft. Either have nothing of value or keep it in a safe.

I wouldn't say that 50.000 THB a months is much for a decent Hotel room. Ok, there are decent appartments for 30.000 THB a months, even on beach road, near walking street. But, if you book a room at a 3 or 4 star Hotel in south Pattaya expect to pay 1200 - 2000 THB a day. For example Dynasty Inn in Soi 13 will be around 1300 - 1400 THB. I would rate it as a 3 star Hotel, clean, but no internet in the rooms at higher floor.
Nova Platinum will be about 1600-1800 Bath and this is with wifi at room.
Paying for a whole month (or even longer) in advance in a hotel, you can get some serious discounts so 50K is definitely a lot.
And if you have time and look around, you can find really nice things for a lot less.
I've stayed 2 months in Purple House in soi khopai for example. They had just opened, I was the first tenant. There was an opening promotion for a nice 30sqm room with everything one needs: 5.000 bahts/month !!! No maid service but this wouldn't have been a problem if wished and would have cost about 3K/month. OK that was not a hotel but an apartment. Still, you're quoting 30K for apartments, that seems extremely expensive to me.
Similarly, very nice rooms and swimming pool at Bonkai Resort (soi Bonkai), I've stayed one month there last year and paid 12.000 bahts if memory serves. Maid service 3 times a week.

Please, guys, don't ever ever bring these girls to your own hotel room or apartment. Short time rooms are only 100-200 baht. So, the rules are simple:

1. Never bring any girl back to your own room, and
2. Never bring out more than you need for an evening

- in my case I never bring more than 1,500 baht.

Point 2 is what I do too.

But I usually bring girls back to my hotel room when I'm in Pattaya, Bangkok, etc. As I explained in a previous report, I simply insist on the girls dropping off their ID card at the hotel reception, and require that the staff makes a phone call to my room when the girls are about to leave in order to check that everything is fine before giving them back their ID card.
