On the plus side, the food is FAR better in BKK than in Pattaya. For whatever reason, I find I cannot get a decent meal in Pattaya, but maybe that's the snob in me.
Can you be specific about where you've eaten in Patts and Bangers?
Can you be specific about where you've eaten in Patts and Bangers?Umm, I'll try. Sorry, not for lack of want, but I just don't remember many names. I'll show you what I mean:
- A hotel on second road, past South Pattaya Road (I think this is technically called Pratamnak rd.). It isn't the Erawan hotel, but nearby, a little closer to S. P. road, and on the same side as Erawan hotel. Had noodles, rice, Tom Yum, all no good.
- The various Arab restaurants across the street from there, all mediocre at best.
- The Wave in the Marriott building - terrible food, way overpriced. I tried the Thai booth, the Indian booth, and that's all I could handle.
- Some place on soi 2, they had free wifi so I stopped in and tried some pad siu. Terrible.
- Coffee Club. This place is not all that bad - a little expensive and snooty, but not terrible. The best thing I have had in there was the cashew chicken. Their breakfast eggs and stuff are not terribly good, mostly because of the bread they have. They only have white bread, but if you request it, they will give you something they call Turkish bread, which is basically thick white bread. Their coffee is ok.
- breakfast at various places like Lek Hotel, that cheap hotel on the corner of soi Diana and 2nd road (the one that advertises 600B rooms? forget the name).
- I ate at that outdoors place opposite soi Diana on 2nd rd (on the beach side) once with a girl. She ordered, and the fish she got was great, the curry I got was lousy.
- That place on Walking street, next to soi 16, showcasing seafood and stuff. They have a guy who walks around in a cowboy outfit. They have an indoor a/c area, which is why I ate there. The seafood stuff was not bad, other things were not terribly good. Overpriced, IMHO. Wanted to try the French place just down the street from there, but it was a sweltering night and I needed the a/c.
- Some German restaurant on 2nd rd past soi Diana...sorry, can't remember the name.
- That Italian coffee/gelato joint on soi Buakhao. Their coffee is pretty good, but I found their food insipid and overly cheesy. And expensive too.
- The outdoors restaurant right on the corner of soi Diana and 2nd rd (non-beach side). This place is ok - decent prices. The noodles are not to rave about, but you could do worse.
- The restaurant inside the supermarket in that complex right there. It's next to the California Wow. This restaurant is not too bad - it has a/c, so that makes up for a lot. + it's open 24 hours.
- That place next to Marine disco...the outdoor food place. The fish here was actually pretty good, but I can't eat a whole fish by myself. Ever. But it was damned tasty. Other stuff was downright wretched.
- Once, in desperation, I ate at Mr Sandwich. I had a chicken shawarma - tttttterrible.
- food court at Central Festival. Not all that bad, actually.
- That pub on soi Buakhao, with the green sign...the Thingy and Booby? What's it's name? Turn left from soi Diana onto soi Buakhao, it's on your right hand side, before you get to the Italian coffee/gelato place. I ate there once with a girl, and she sat next to me. All I remember about that place is her silky inner thigh in the palm of my hand. That and the 90 minute erection I had.
Umm, that's all I can remember for now. I like the suggestions people are posting - I'm keeping a list and I will be sure to visit them when I return.
So that's Patts. As for...Bangers...did you say? Nice. I'll post that in the, ehem, Bangers section.

Pattaya and BKK are both great and you should see them both. My suggestion would be the 2 first nites in BKK. Stay right on the BTS line because the skytrain is so easy to navigate. Spend one night mongering at Nana and the other at Soi Cowboy. They are in the same general area. You would also have a full day to take in the Grand Palace and other sightseeing venues.
The remaining five nights could be spent in Pattaya. After a few days in Pattaya, you'll be able to decide whether or not to spend your last night in Pattaya or BKK.

Coconut Bar (Best value for money in Pattaya!)
There have been many posts over the years each promoting a particular type of venue for finding a “playmate” in Pattaya.
Some mongers like the Go – Go’s. Others prefer the massage parlours or Bar Beers. Discos are favoured by some. The list of possible types of venue where you can find P4P company is endless.
Although I would not argue that each of these venues has its own benefits and merits I believe there is a good case for voting “Coconut Bar” as the best overall value for money in the whole of Pattaya.
For those that do not know, “Coconut Bar” is the name that many Thai girls use for the area of Beach Rd. stretching from Walking street in the South to Soi 1 in the north of Pattata, a distance of around 2.5 / 3.0 miles.
Over the years, in response to my question “Where you work?” many Thai girls have told me “I work Coconut Bar!”
I can’t remember the first time I heard this answer but I know that it had to be explained to me that, because the beach side of this road is lined with Palm Trees someone had nicknamed it “Coconut Bar.” The longest bar (and the most girls) in the whole of Pattaya!
From late morning to 4.00 or 5.00 am the next day a wide range of companions can be found here.
OK, quality varies and I have to admit that there can be some real horrors here who should have retired years (or maybe DECADES) ago but there are also some real stunners!
Prices generally average around 500 Baht for short time and many girls are pleased to stay as long as you want, happy to be in your cool A.C. room with some company and out of the heat.
For me, this is my preferred hunting ground when I am looking for a little afternoon fun. A stroll along Beach Rd. will usually come up with a playmate for me. Some of the girls are from Go - Go’s or Bar Beers and are there for some extra money before starting the main job. Some are shop / restaurant workers working the late shift and for some this seems to be the only job and are there virtually 24/7.
Weekends can be rather good, especially towards the end of the month, with many girls catching a bus from the surrounding area to have a little fun in Pattata (and perhaps go back with a little money in their pocket.) and supplement the gap between end of month and end of money!
I believe that many of the girls here are “freelance” or “Part-timers” and they are not so hardened as many of their sisters found in the main P4P venues and offer rather more of a GFE than may be found elsewhere.
One example, from last week. Walking along Beech Road found a sweet young lady sitting on her own. I sat down with her and started to talk. Over the course of my “Job interview” I found out that,
She was 19 years old.
Chinese / Thai (Typical Chinese looking face, with white skin.)
No babies (but still a little bit of “Puppy Fat.”
First trip to Pattaya and had been there just 3 weeks.
Spoke quite reasonable English.
Rather sweet looking.
I usually prefer them a little older, with a bit of experience, but as this one seemed so cute I agreed that I would pay her minimum 400 Baht plus a performance based tip IF she was good.
So, off we go to my room after stopping to buy some drinks for us.
I do not need to go into a full account of the next 3 hours but when a playmate puts your finger into her mouth and then requests you to “put it up her arse” then it is probably a sign that the session may well be an interesting one! Another good sign is when she looks at you with those innocent eyes and asks, “Will you come in my mouth, PLEEEEESE!!”
Well, how could any man refuse such a polite request?
Result, probably one of the BEST sessions that I have had in Pattaya for some years, and YES she got her performance bonus. I even repeated with her one week later. Equally as good if not better.
OK, I can not claim that EVERY session with a “Coconut Bar” girl will be perfect, life is not like that, but the chance to talk to the girl, for as long as you want, to see if she meets YOUR job spec puts YOU in the driving seat!
I have NEVER had any problem with any girl that I found here, being dishonest or trying to steal from me.
As always, YMMV but with a huge amount of choice, time to chat before deciding, and with YOU in control of the situation then I still maintain that “Coconut Bar” is the best overall value for money in the whole of Pattaya.

OK, you may be correct about how long she had been in Pattaya. However she certainly did not know her way around very well so, perhaps!!
Her age was, I am pretty certain, correct. I saw her ID and the photo was almost certainly her.
She certainly was Horny (with a capital H.) and obviously had “some” experience before she came to Pattaya. My guess was she was just one of those girls who LOVE to Fuck!
I must admit that I am not always so lucky. One “Coconut Bar” girl that I took during the same trip passed her “job interview” OK but when we reached my room and she proceeded to get undressed had “Two Fried Eggs” for boobs (although when dressed seemed to have quite a good figure!) So many of these girls start a lot younger than 19 yo. Might seem young to you but her experience could very well go back another 4 years or so with multiple thai boys from her village.
I am getting in around 2:30 so should be able to make it by 7PM.

First off, Bangkok and Pattaya are like different planets. For all out mongering, entirely in gogo's and beer bars (or that sort of thing) Pattaya is the place. For a more "standard" night life (still with guarantee of getting laid of course), Bangkok has much more to offer (massages, gogo's, discos, night clubs, beer gardens, escorts, pool bars, BJ bars, high class clubs, low class clubs, high class massage places, and the list goes on). The difference is Pattaya is 100% in your face, and 100% available, where as Bangkok requires more research (but not much) and is more spread out but has a lot more to offer in every regard. The other difference may be the price; if you are sensitive to that then Pats is probably a better choice. And finally, Bangkok of course has way more culture and cultural activities...although there is plenty to do and see in Pattaya if you wish.
Contrary to some posts on ISG, Pattaya has excellent food...you just have to pay for it. That's one of the better things about Pats actually: it has good food, golf, and tons of things to do besides mongering, or alternatively mongering 24/7 if that is what you wish.

Ok, you mongers have convinced me. I have just finished wrangling 16 consecutive days off on 7 days vacation time around Thanksgiving. I'm getting my passport on Saturday and then I've got my flight picked out on Delta through Seattle to BKK and will purchase when passport is in hand.
I have done most of my hobbying in LV in the past (mostly w/Asian girls), but when I added it all up, Pattaya looks to be a much better deal. I'm about 1/3 of the way through the PTT forum posts and I've picked up some great advice on where to stay and where to look. Sometime in early June, the gogo bar Baccara had a large meeting for all its employees. I think they have such meetings every so often as a way to ensure quality control. At that meeting, the mama san scolded girls for bad behaviour, and told them that such bad behaviour would not be tolerated. Such bad behavior included things like letting a customer put his fingers in the girls pussy while still in the club, the girl bar fining herself and then meeting her falang boyfriend outside the club (thereby avoiding the obligatory drink + lady drink), etc.

I had not read Stickman this week until I saw it referred to by Dhound. What a coincidence!
Actually, at around the time it was posted on Sunday I was enjoying my 2nd (and, unfortunately, final) session with the young Chinese / Thai girl before I flew back home.
I don’t remember the first time I heard Beach Rd. referred to as “Coconut Bar” but it was certainly several years ago. I have even heard girls say “My office, Coconut Bar opposite Mike Mall or by Soi 8 or wherever.” so the name seems to be well known to many of the girls not just us Farrangs! Just try asking a few.
Anyway, whatever we call it I believe that it still represents the BEST value for money in Pattaya.

Several members have sent PM’s to me asking for details of the young Chinese / Thai girl I found at “Coconut Bar.”
Although I enjoyed two great sessions with her over one week I have not kept her contact details! Why??
Well, in my opinion, when you find a young, fresh and enthusiastic provider, make the most of it because within a very short time she will become a hardened professional!
Much better (at least for me) to start again each trip with the “new stock.”
I have had several experiences over the years with young, fresh, innocent, new girls and to try to repeat some months later only leads to disappointment.
Last year I took a “Pattaya Virgin” from one of the Bar Beers just off 2nd Rd, Mama san (who I knew well from previous visits) told me that she had only arrived in Pattaya the previous day and had never been with a Farrang before! She was 19 years old, very shy, virtually no English and absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!
Mama San was happy for her to go with me for her first Pattaya experience as I am an older farrang and (as Mama San told the girl) Jai Dee Mak Maa!
Back at my hotel the girl was, understandably very quiet to start with but after she got over the initial shyness was an absolute pleasure to be with and we had three long, and enjoyable, sessions overnight.
When, in the morning, she had to phone her friend to pick her up from the hotel (as she had no idea how to get back to her room) her newness to Pattaya was confirmed to me.
I went to the same Bar Beer around 3 months later. Yes “my” girl was there but what a change! Her freshness and innocence was gone and she was “working the bar” like a true professional. In the short time I was there she must have had lady drinks from at least 4 punters and had now learned to maximise her undoubted assets. Mama San told me that she was usually the first to get bar fined and that she had, at least, one customer every night!
I did not take her that night and, although I am sure that her customers were perfectly happy with her service it would have been impossible, for me at least, to recreate the pleasure of that, first encounter, with her.
So, sorry I can not give any contact details but, in my opinion there is always a true “diamond” out there somewhere. Just keep searching. After all, that is part of the fun!!

This is very true, and I've enjoyed the new ones and later been disappointed as they tarnish, but invariably my favorite providers are not new fresh enthusastic ones, but those rare long-termers who are still great fun in bed.

The overall quality of beach Rd is down compare to some of the gogo ladies but advantage is NO BF and don't have to buy her LD. It's strictly: Wam, Bam and thank you Mamam.
Btw, talk about horrors, there is still this hideous woman about 40y/o (if you can "it" that) I remember from last year that refused to go away as I said no, kept grapping my arm with her hideous hands and won't let go. Man, I still have nightmares as I can't forget her face. Can't describe it as it was something out of a horror movie in 3-D. So not all memories of Beach Rd are good. Sorry, just wanted to share.

Umm, I'll try. Sorry, not for lack of want, but I just don't remember many names. I'll show you what I mean:
- A hotel on second road, past South Pattaya Road (I think this is technically called Pratamnak Road.). It isn't the Erawan hotel, but nearby, a little closer to S. P. Road, and on the same side as Erawan hotel. Had noodles, rice, Tom Yum, all no good.
- The various Arab restaurants across the street from there, all mediocre at best.
- The Wave in the Marriott building. Terrible food, way overpriced. I tried the Thai booth, the Indian booth, and that's all I could handle.
- Some place on soi 2, they had free wifi so I stopped in and tried some pad siu. Terrible.
- Coffee Club. This place is not all that bad. A little expensive and snooty, but not terrible. The best thing I have had in there was the cashew chicken. Their breakfast eggs and stuff are not terribly good, mostly because of the bread they have. They only have white bread, but if you request it, they will give you something they call Turkish bread, which is basically thick white bread. Their coffee is ok.
- breakfast at various places like Lek Hotel, that cheap hotel on the corner of soi Diana and 2nd road (the one that advertises 600B rooms? Forget the name).
- I ate at that outdoors place opposite soi Diana on 2nd Road (on the beach side) once with a girl. She ordered, and the fish she got was great, the curry I got was lousy.
- That place on Walking street, next to soi 16, showcasing seafood and stuff. They have a guy who walks around in a cowboy outfit. They have an indoor a/c area, which is why I ate there. The seafood stuff was not bad, other things were not terribly good. Overpriced, IMHO. Wanted to try the French place just down the street from there, but it was a sweltering night and I needed the a/c.
- Some German restaurant on 2nd Road past soi Diana. Sorry, can't remember the name.
- That Italian coffee/gelato joint on soi Buakhao. Their coffee is pretty good, but I found their food insipid and overly cheesy. And expensive too.
- The outdoors restaurant right on the corner of soi Diana and 2nd Road (non-beach side). This place is ok. Decent prices. The noodles are not to rave about, but you could do worse.
- The restaurant inside the supermarket in that complex right there. It's next to the California Wow. This restaurant is not too bad. It has a/c, so that makes up for a lot. + it's open 24 hours.
- That place next to Marine disco. The outdoor food place. The fish here was actually pretty good, but I can't eat a whole fish by myself. Ever. But it was damned tasty. Other stuff was downright wretched.
- Once, in desperation, I ate at Mr Sandwich. I had a chicken shawarma. Tttttterrible.
- food court at Central Festival. Not all that bad, actually.
- That pub on soi Buakhao, with the green sign. The Thingy and Booby? What's it's name? Turn left from soi Diana onto soi Buakhao, it's on your right hand side, before you get to the Italian coffee/gelato place. I ate there once with a girl, and she sat next to me. All I remember about that place is her silky inner thigh in the palm of my hand. That and the 90 minute erection I had.
Umm, that's all I can remember for now. I like the suggestions people are posting. I'm keeping a list and I will be sure to visit them when I return.
So that's Patts. As for. Bangers. Did you say? Nice. I'll post that in the, ehem, Bangers section. I think its the butchers arms you mean?

Day 1 :- Found a bus just as i stepped out of the BKK Airport , 200 Baht included the fair and Hotel drop off . Journey took just about 2 hrs from the Airport to the Hotel. Checked into Penthouse Hotel and thanks to the forum got a upgrade to the Patpong 2 Room . Nice clean hotel with practically all amenities you need on a mongering trip. My room had a small Balcony as well , being a smoker thats always a plus for me.
Called up an old friend and she was at the door before i could take a dump. No stunner but its always nice to get ur back scrubbed and a nice massage after a long journey. Was fairly natural to get horny so just about 3 hrs into pattaya i was finished with the first round of sex.
Day passed fairly quick and as the lights came on , I found myself on the walking street trying to get a look into every GOGO for that prefect girl to take back. Eventually found a stunner at Happy GO GO , paid the barfine and got her back to the room. What followed was awesome....at one point i was stupid enough to take her out in the balcony and we tried some doggie there...was about 3 am but damn those were memorable 10 mins .

Unless you are riding THAI or EVA (maybe Singapore, too) from the US you get in WAY too late for the bus (about midnite or so and the last bus goes at 7PM local or so).

You just mentioned two and my China Airlines flight arrives at 11:30 in October and my Cathay Pacific flight (both from San Francisco...ans I think my Nortwest Flight ( now Delya) arrived well before 7...). In fact I don't think I've ever taken a flight that's landed late.
I went to the same Bar Beer around 3 months later. I did not take her that night . . . . . . . service it would have been impossible, for me at least, to recreate the pleasure of that, first encounter, with her.
I did not find this to be the case with a newby from NEP. I was her first or second customer the first day she arrived from SeSaKet. Thai goes direct from LA; the Korean airlines stop in Incheon'. Delta and UAL both go thru Narinta and on Star alliance routes, TG has a better entry out of Narinta (arrfives at 9:45 PM or 1045 once DST goes "off" in Japan and the USA). China and Eva both connect in Taipei and ARRIVE BKK about 11ish AM. I could go look up Cathay (I've never been on them)

After Immigration go down to the lower ground level. I dont exactly remember the gate but its on the far left if your back is towards the airport when you step out. You'll come across an area with lots of travel desks just near the gate, can get a ticket there and if the bus is ready to leave they will guide you to just hop on. Less than 90 Min to Pattaya Bus Station.
Tickets cost only 124 Baht actually but if you ask for a hotel drop they'll offer you 200 Baht all inclusive, i think it was a fair price.
I believe the bus leaves every hr from 7 am to 7 pm and same case if you leave from pattaya to airport or BKK.The BKK bus station is just 5 BTS station away from Nana and there is BTS station right near the bus station, took me 25 B and a 10 min to get to Nana Station from there.
The journey back from Pattaya to BKK takes a little more time i guess , just about 2.5 hrs as the bus takes a longer route to get to the station rather than entering the city from the nearest entry point.

Over the 3 nights stay in Pattaya and 2 nights in BKK i brought in a GOGO girl each day. Im not a fan of the freelancer's bcoz i always belive they are on the streets for a reason which i dont wanna know.
Also the idea of standing on the road and trying to bargain does'nt work with me as i always need a little spark before i can take the girl back to my room. I'm afraid it's going to be that way from time to time but thankfully not all the time in the forseeable future. The authorities want Pattaya to be a family destination. Not to worry. The girls will simply move southward to Walking Street where the crowds and customers are found.

I kinda agree with you on this. Although not 100% family oriented yet, but certainly on it's way there. I see so many more couples and families in Pattaya now days. Years ago when you saw the same they stuck out like sore thumbs. Now they are common place. Today's Pattaya feels very much like Patong beach in Phuket.

I think this says more about Amjeck than it does about working girls in Thailand. Let's refer to this as The Amjeck Doctrine.

As I groaned under the weight of the bar, doing my extra set of squats in the gym last night, I realized I was wrong. When I first read Amjeck's statements, and Mouse's response, and all that followed, I had thought Amjeck was a hypocrite. On the one hand, he makes grand claims about getting your head out of your ass and seeing the girls for what they are (The Amjeck Doctrine, quotes above). But at the same time, the statements he makes are clearly not in fact true. That is, this Amjeck Doctrine is so obviously provocative and incendiary that he can't possibly believe it. And any cursory analysis of the situation by even a half-wit would reveal that the view espoused by Amjeck is fantasy. (To be clear: I am not calling Amjeck a half-wit, please read on). Hence my initial conclusion that he is a hypocrite: he claims to be the purveyor of truth, whereas he in fact is the ultimate consumer of fantasy. The only difference is that his fantasy is a sick, cruel version that few of us would agree with.
But then I realized I am giving Amjeck (and his ilk) too much credit. The Amjeck Doctrine is a simple one: the girls are all prostitutes, and therefore should be considered as lesser human beings - as some category he calls 'hookers'. Accepting such a view is easy: it's like sitting on the couch eating potato chips. It is far easier to think of them all as prostitutes, not worthy of any emotion, not worthy of a second thought, noth worthy of distinction. It is *easier* to do this than to see who they really are. But this is sheer self-delusion. And it is delusion of a particular kind, one that is very common amongst us humans. Consider two American statesmen:

It's easy for the average person to understand since it does not require that you exert any effort in talking with them, or treating them fairly, or trying to see the world from their perspective. And it makes treating them badly a morally acceptable thing to do. We can bomb innocent Muslims, but that's ok since they are all cave-dwelling evil-doers. And we can treat the girls poorly, but that's ok because they're all nothing more than lowly prostitutes. Mmm, those potato chips are good...
This all harkens back to a discussion started by Angus Magee a few weeks ago: fantasy versus reality. My fantasty when I am with a working girl (in Thailand or elsewhere) is that I am connecting with her, that we are going to share something special. I know this is fanstasy, but damn it, that's what I want. Mouse refers to this as the GFE, and he is right in pointing out that such an experience is diametrically opposed to the view that these girls are subhuman. But that's the thing: the Amjeck Doctrine is equally a fantasy, and it is the opposite one from mine.
Why would Amjeck engage in such fantasy? I mean, it is entirely his prerogative, but it has puzzled me for the last few months. In thinking about this, I recognized a recurring theme in his posts: Us versus Them. It is WAR! 'You win everytime'. Win what? War with whom? Why is this a battle? Not sure where I am going here, but I find it interesting.
So...if you are such a person, and if you want to insert your penis into as many orifices as you can with the minimal monetary expenditure possible and no lasting attachment to the girls who possess said orifices, and then at the end you can say that you WON...then I would recommend fully embracing the Amjeck Doctrine. You should keep this attitude if you want to treat the girls poorly and with impunity. That's the only way your conscience will allow it.There is nothing wrong with it once you recognize it as the fantasy that it is. But if his view is fantasy, and my view is fantasy, then what is reality? Angus Magee has some interesting thoughts on this, and I can't come close to his wisdom, but I'd like to make just one point. I would say that the reality is that nothing in the natural world is as simple as that. If you honestly want to *understand* the situation (and you may not in fact want this), such black-white dichotomies need to go. And that requires you getting your fat ass off the couch and hitting the gym (in the metaphorical sense). Not all of us can or even want to do this, and so there will always be lazy couch potatoes, no matter what any of us say or do.
Finally, although this post is written as if it is all about Amjeck, it isn't really. It's pretty clear that there is a spectrum of mongers. Amjeck happens to represent one end of that spectrum, and he is courageous for putting his ideas out there. I don't think there is anything wrong with that end of the spectrum, provided you don't end up hurting the working girls in any way that is not part of the norm. I don't think I will ever visit that end of the spectrum, but I am sure there are some of you who will.

Some don't need an emotional attachment, however fleeting, to be completely satisfied. Others, myself included, need to feel some slight bond with the girl, (fantasy or not) in order to have a satisfying experience.
I happen to believe that type of bonding creates a more satisfying physical experience. I have had plenty of experiences with girls where I could tell there was absolutely no connection emotionally, and it was always a less than fulfilling transaction. I think Uncle V. Said something about it in one of his posts, even if it isn't real, if the girl can delude you successfully into thinking she's really into you, it's worth the illusion to some of us.

My remarks were meant to be on the humor side but with the remarks I wonder how many can really recognize a Beach girls who has venture into W.S as part of her route since they have brighten Beach Road, put up cameras everywhere and now due to the red shirt pass action the City officials decided to provide free tents for street vendors to sell their wares at supposely discounted prices to bring the tourist back.

Umm...it will be difficult to find what you are looking for in Pattaya. Ok, Ok...
Do some googling, but in general, if you want go-gos....go to Walking Street where there are tons of go gos....there are also hundreds of beer bars throughout the city and finally, Beach Road has hundreds of girls at all hours waiting for your services.
Your problem won't be to find one but to decide which one.

Funny story: Casanovy in walking street was the only go-go bar I saw open on the main first level street. The signs were off, but naked girls were still dancing on the main stage. At 9:40 PM, all the naked girls ran off the stage to the back (never knew naked Thai girls in high heels could run that fast). A policeman walked in. They turned off the music and no dancers on stage. I was told by one of the girls to come back at 11:30 PM. About 20 minutes later, as I was about to leave, the girls in bikinis went to the stage, and they turned the music on at half level. The front door was closed, and all the door girls came inside. I stayed since it was one of the few that were opened. At 11 PM, the girls took off their clothes, and it was back to normal. But by that time, all the cute girls were gone (barfined). Oh well, you snooze you lose. No other options to pick up decent looking girls from the go-go bars. Some of the open air beer bars were open, selling cokes and club soda, but I prefer cuter girls from the go-go bars (more expensive, but you only live once).
Then I went to my hotel on Soi 13, and then walked to beach road to see what was around. Yuck! "Diamonds in the rough" LOL! Some people's scale is that a 8 or 9 is a 5 that does it for 500 baht. My scale is a true Bell curve where most of the girls are average (5s) with few 8s and above (Yes I am an engineering geek). There were couple that "weren't ugly", but I went back to my hotel with Mrs. Left and Mrs. Right.

Beach Road will have older girls. The open air beer bars will have mostly girls above 21 (some exceptions).
The best place to find girls between 18-21 will be the go-go bars. Of course some of them will have older girls (like 25 LOL!), but you will be able to examine them on stage, or you can intimately examine them after you buy them a lady's drink.

It is new. There never used to be a soapie there. Kinda a weird place to put one.
Go have a look. Maybe I was there on a bad day. They did have two prices. IMO the lower priced girls were about as good looking as beach road girls. The higher price (1800, I think) were no better than a freelancer on walking.
The facilities, however, looked nice and the people working there were friendly.

i wouldn't get to hung up in the age thing. the good thing is is that thai girls age really well. the ones in their mid 20s could easily pass for 18-21. and they are generally much better in the sack. at lest imho.

I have to agree that I've never seen high quality in a Pattaya soapy - also service there is shockingly bad (CBJs and so forth). In Sabai Dee soapy, there are two areas for the girls - in the higher end area (2,200 I think, or maybe it was 2,000) kind of hidden away at the back, there are some fairly nice looking girls, though nothing special. All I've had have been poor service.
However I've never been to a Soapy in Bangkok so I can't compare to that. The best Soapy values I've found have been upcountry, mostly in Khon Kaen and Korat.

That's very, very rare in Pattaya, Ronnie, though it does exist. If you're only going for a short visit I'd say you're unlikely to find it, but if you stay a long time you'd eventually run across it once in a blue moon on the Beach Road. But if you really prefer that type you should go to Udon Thani.

The govenment imposes some stiff fines if you do not observe the holidays.

I feel your pain Green Bud. Recently came back from a trip to Medellin where they were holding national elections and stopped alcohol sales from Friday evening through Monday morning. Not a real fun time with no alcohol! Even the casinos couldn't serve.

Normally there is a notice posted at places that sell alcohol which will give you a day or two notice. BUT READ THE NOTICE CAREFULLY. One time I mis-read the date/time indicated and had to muddle thru on what I already had, which was half my daily ration... :(

I didn't see the Thai holiday that occurred in July on that list (I think it was when Buddha gave his first sermon).

Heading to Pattaya next Thursday for a three week break and really looking forward to it. This would be my 5th or 6th trip and have only ever looked for girls along Beach Road. It has never happened to me so far... Anyway, I seldom pay more than 500 baht for a "basic" ST session (I would pay up to 1000 baht if a few extras are on the menu, such as anal and video allowed, for instance) with a local freelancer in Pattaya, and it doesn't matter where I picked up the girl (in a disco, on Walking Street, on Beach Road, or wherever...).
A "basic" ST session with a Thai freelancer in Pattaya is usually 500 baht for me, and a "basic" LT is usually 1000 baht. It might be even less with an older girl, or a little bit more if the girl is really beautiful (600 or 700 baht ST, 1100 or 1200 baht LT). I usually add from 300 up to 500 baht to those figures if the girl provides more than the "basic" services.
When I'm in Pattaya, I don't encounter much difficulties to find 18-25 year old attractive girls that are willing to partake with me for those amounts in the evening or a bit later at night (for instance, at around 10-11pm on Beach Road, and 11pm-midnight on Walking Street). The walking path is wider you will see a baht a minute internet shop accross the street. My advice for the newbie would be keep walking it and don't be discouraged, just wait for the scenery to change. A horrid selection at 1pm can turn into a decent selection with some gems a few hours later.

I can certainly give it away. Behind Big C (central) there are few "no fun for falang" clubs and discos, like Holliwood and Noir. On that road, the only crossing has a sign "Korean Garden", drive up 50 mts and are you are there.
It is the most quiet, convenient and affordable place I have found so far.

I am very familiar with this area. Perhaps you are mistaken? There are several crossing on this road behind Big C.
Coming from the Leela Resort bottom of road heading towards Big C, the first crossing is at Hollywood, also there is a Police Box, as you proceed up to Big C, the second crossing on the corner is a club called Edge Club, behind the club and all along the road is Sabai Lodge, across the Soi from Big C. on the otherside is BM Commerence furiture shop, behind that area is a place called Garden Resort. If one continues up to Pattaya Nua, there is another crossing on the left which many of the buses park and a big empty lot with a few buildings that provide shows for the Korean, Chinese, Japanese tourist by the bus load.
The only place that I know of that have bungalows or cottages is the ' Cottages Resort " which is opposite Big C parking lot as you exit Big C, Ice Cream Swensens. Could you be mistaken? as to the name or location you mentioned?

As far as how well it worked. I'm not sure. I usually don't have a problem getting an erection. It may have made it a bit harder (or maybe that was the girls). The reason I bought it is because once I slip on a condom and lose sensation my erections sometimes go down to 60-70%. I don't think it helped at all with that. I think I've just spent too many years barebacking at home. I did have improved recovery time though (w/ my LT and DD sessions), so in that regard I think it helped.

O.K. now we are talking and thanks for the clarification. Crossing at Hollywood going towards 3rd Rd, on the left. But the place isn't really name Korean Garden? The sign just before the curve on the right says " Inside Garden resort " as you drive up in front on the left there are a few more signs with the restaurant being outside of the and the sign says now " inside resort with the Korean word below that is the word restaurant "
Reading your reports and having a good time I could understand how the mistake could be made. As noted I go by and know this area pretty well and the majority of guys would not even think about this location if they don't know how to get around might be afraid of the location. Kudos to you!

Today I discovered, after a short reserch in Internet, that levitra pills sold in some pharmacies in Pattaya for 1000/1200 bath are fake! The prove is that on the aluminum that contains the pills there isn't the anti falsification write that appears or dissapears moving it under a light (this is a sistem introduced by Bayer in 2006 so it is impossible that is not applied also in these packages). I don't know the effects of the fake pills, because I did not try them jet (and actually I do not know if I will), but I think it is important to know they are not an original product.

To the beginning. Woke up. Ate good breakfast. Now, my hotel is in South Pattaya, and I left about noon. Heat of the day. This is the rainy season and it rains constantly. Walked there. For those who do not know how to get there, go entrance of Walking Street from Beach Road. Keep walking until WS ends. Past Tony's, past that whole newer area. Continue on the main road, again. There is that go-kart racing thing on the left. Small street on the right, and recall it on a slight incline. Go.
When got there was pretty sweaty. Immediately saw three gals to the left. None were spring chickens, that's certain. However, to me this a test of manhood which, just like slaying dragons, must pass.
Of the three, chose the best one there, which was just barely passable. They offered me a threesome or foursome. Ummmmm, tempting but no thanks. OK, time for pictures. Here my walk to paradise (pic-01). On my way to my personal "chateau" you can see the fancy decors of nearby hotels (pics-02 and 03). Pattaya is THE place man....its like the wall street of mongering....others only try to copy or catch up with Pattaya...it always good to try new things in mongering...yet the well established places are hard to beat...like most agree that vietnamese girls are the best yet Vietnam is yet to make a mark on mongering rader...its a combination of variety of things that make Thailand what it is today.

Its easy go to any pharmacy they mostly have cialis and condoms..if they say bring DOC receipt..play dump foreigner and they will tell you to bring next time...however there has been a crack down recently on cialis etc check out few pharmacies mostly smaller ones..they should have a stock

I believe optimum strategy is to do Pattaya, not be in it Dec 20-31 but head over to Indonesia , as last years Patts forum suggested prices doubled about then. Screw that. If Patts hotels are emptier, its because is is not the only show in town.
I'm in the same boat. I'm going to Pattaya in Dec too and I was planning on 7 - 10 days in Cambodia. I want to see Angkor and I'd like to go to Snooky. But, between the inflated prices for a plane ticket and recent reports I'm starting to think about doing something else. I'm not sure what, maybe I'll look into Indonesia too - never been there.

Wow! I hooked up with her when I was there in Feb. I can't believe she's been there that long! I got her number but didn't end up seeing her until the morning I was leaving. She was really good and I was kind of pissed I hadn't called her sooner. The only thing I didn't like was that when I gave her 500 after she insisted on a tip - said because I came on her face I needed to give her more. I think I gave her another 1 or 2 hundred. I was leaving anyway, but I didn't appreciate her insistent attitude. She was great up until then though.

Wonderful service every time - which you cannot always guarantee from a beer bar!Actually, Have been going to Pattaya now since figure 1998/9, and for past five years never pay bar fines. Far better performance, and no mandatory LD, BF, or rest of the hardcore sales crapola. As the saying goes, bar fines are for tourists and suckers.

BTW: My "camera" is a Sony-Errikson flip-phone which I bought used back in 2007/8 for 1200 baht, and then two or three years old. Got it at Big C, upper floors which are labeled "Cheap Charlie Special". I refuse to waste good cash on any cell phone, esp when they all do the same thing.
Besides, no self respecting bar girl would even consider stealing it.
FANTASTIC!!!! I visit Pattaya only for the barely barely legal super hotties fresh of the bus, but heh .... to each his own. While this is was beyond what I would want to experience, but the shots, and the commetary was stellar and hilarious ....worthy of "60min" reportYea, but anyone can do that.

Now I live in Bangkok it wasn't going to be long before I decided to visit Pattaya to see what all the fuss is about. So on Friday after work I had a car to take me the shortish journey by motorway in 2hours. Would have been quicker but the storms caused so many crashes on route that there were many hold ups.
I stayed at the Baywalk residence – had reasonable reputation on here and also was only 1000THB on Agoda. The room as I expected was basic with a dark ugly bathroom but it was clean and being on Beach Road 2 mins from Walking St it had location on its side.
Wanted to explore some beer bars first so turned right and walked up past Mikes keeping my eye on the other side of beach road. Met an American guy Tom who wanted to tell me about his previous night and then when we bumped into each other next bar seemed obvious to stay together. Went to beer bars past soi13 the girls not great but there were odd muay fights with 6 year olds!
Finally into Walking Street – went to beer bars just inside on the right (Simon's bars?) had a few good contacts but my new friend wanted to explore further in. He didn't quite understand difference between go-go and beer bar so took him into Peppermint which was heaving – just bodies everywhere and of course a few who wanted to land on us and ask for drinks. Tom was keen but not keen enough.
I tried to find X Zone but my map let me down so we went back to earlier bar – I barfined the cutey I had played with before – Siriya – 300bf+2000 for LT. A very good evening and morning – touch of the GFE about her. Great English and unusually from Chang Mai not Isaan.
Saturday was grey and I realized that sitting on the beach was not an option so bit of shopping then lunch and beers at beer garden before an afternoon kip. Wandered round looking for good looking massage option – found one went for the hour aroma (280 instead of 400+ in Bangkok another example of Pattaya being cheaper) let her tug away for awhile but didn't want a finish saved it for the evening.
Got baht bus round to soi 6 but nothing interesting there so wandered down had dinner at very expensive Hard Rock before next bus to Walking – couple of beers in one of the bars by beer garden then kept going down and went to Baccara very bored looking girls and tonight on my own found X Zone – I was only punter and was quickly moved to a stage area to "play" with 2 of the girls – obviously the banana/fist thing is a routine but interesting given that they do it with no guarantee of money at the end. They asked about short time but while I enjoyed the moment there is something off-putting about then fucking a girl who has done this act with so many blokes – illogical I know.
Back up Walking then made a classic error – 3 weeks since I arrived in Bangkok and there in front of me were East European blondes of the sort I know from Tallinn/Krakow/Berlin and even London. I am referring of course to Ladys Shadow.
I know many of you are groaning "don't do it" but I did – my drink 300 her drink 600! Then private dance 2000 – so why? Well apart from the delight of something different (like eating McDs after weeks of Tom Yung) I wanted to see the etiquette – how did it work? I knew from the price list it was a rip off compared to anywhere else in town but I was intrigued. For what it's worth (and for 2000 it was worth a lot) the dance was as good as many normal lap dances I've had in my time (and of course 2 songs in London would be 40quid or 2000 baht anyway) with touching and she paid a fair degree of attention to my bits – didn't ask about taking her out but does anyone know the bar fine and ST/LT prices?
Out of Walking to get more money then up to Penthouse to see Kitten/Obsessions. But made decision to find a girl on Beach Road – 5 mins later one was in my room doing very passable OWO with CIM. 500THB.
Finally Sunday morning sun came out – hour by the pool before trying to check out – the thieving gits claimed I had a beer from the fridge which I didn't but they deducted 60 from my deposit anyway – left a bad taste and just why do they bother – what happened to customer being right? But gentlemen watch yourselves if you do book the Baywalk (meant to say as well the brekkie was dreadful) think they have a sequence of scams if they do that over 60baht!
Baht bus to the Bangkok bus station and very quick journey back to Mo Chit for 120THB real bargain!
Still so many bits to explore but after the last few days will be paying far more attention to the Pattaya section of the forum and will go back very soon.

Couple of days before me and one of my travel companion arrived at 11.00p.m. after a long traveling from Chiangmai by bus. We were decided will stay at Hotel Penthouse and skipped any prior hotel booking. We were gladly obliged by the hotel reception when we asked to visit the rooms before we confirm. On the way to the rooms my companion started to made comments:
“It’s a tree house”
Any way we continued our visits +1000b and +1,300b rooms. Mirrors, lightings, Straps, dancing poles nothing impressed to my friend. In front of the reception counter we decided not to get any room here.
“Rooms are dirty” – the comment of my travel mate.
So we started our walk to find an Internet café to book our room in convenient place. Finally we find our room at “Estinny Inn” on Soi 8, and finished our booking by Agoada. We both were hungry as hell and decided to keep our baggage at the café and our request was gladly obliged by the café. We went out to get our eateries and we felt to have couple of drinks also. So far on our knowledge the Cafes in Thailand usually keeps open for 24hrs. So with relax at 2.00 a.m. we arrived at café and surprisingly found closed. What the hell ! We were seeing our belongs through curtain but finally we find no way to have up of those.
It was raining with cats and dogs and we two stupid started our walk to our hotel without our baggage. When we arrived at our hotel on soi 8 and entered in our room it was 4.00 am.
We were soaking wet and never complained to each other.

I don't understand the purpose of your post? First, you tell us you didn't like the hotel you went to. (You hadn't even booked one ahead of time)? Then you leave your luggage at an internet cafe? (You were lucky your luggage was even there the next day!)
So you book another hotel but didn't go check in at the hotel at midnight or so? Then you go out and eat and drink (you saw a couple of drinks?) so I'm assuming this might have taken two hours maybe? Then you return at 2 am! And you are surprised the internet cafe is closed in Pattaya?
And then apparently you walk for two hours arriving at 4 am at your hotel in the rain? No taxi or baht bus?
And what is the purpose of your post? To warn us that it helps to think a bit before doing dumb things?

Plenty of construction sites ... big block of soi 8 is excavated to foundation level ... I doubt if it will be improved by whatever arises.
I see a lot of bars for sale or for rent, but also a good many springing up.

Yah u r absolutley right. There r couple of estinnies in this area and they will not mind to letting us to borrow their rooms through using their wifi.
But the fact is we discovered the hotel through agoda search, and during our staying time we gladly used their wifi whenever we were in need.
Moreover noises were not problem for us at all. We both guys got a long time habbit of got sleep in day and moves on night.
AND the hotel location extrmely pleased both of us.

Yes it's true we didn't booked our room prior to arrive at Pat. Because some mails was been exchanged before with penthouse for our room. However we didn't liked the things was available for us that time.
yes we got our luggage next day. I think it's not a lucky matter at all to have on next day. There r no reason and never been experienced before that Pat peoples are bad in any means.
Yes we were surprised cuz we found 24hrs open cafe in BKK. We do agree here we did a dumb thing that we gone for eating and drinking instead of check in our room. And these snatches our time. Cuz we believed that the cafe will be open for 24hrs.
AND yes we walk. The only reason is we were not familiar enough with Pat as like u. The fact is we were not experienced with the bhat bus routes. Moreover we were confused about the location of Soi8. To avoid more hassles we decided for a walk instead of using Bhat bus. U r absolutely correct there no taxi we found on that rainy night.
Why we loosed times ? I m not advising u to try the same in a cats and dogs rainy night but u can imagine two confused people what may do.
Why posted it! I m letting u guess why the forum is used for.
