So I dropped my cousin off at Sabai Dee Body Massage to get a soapie. I set my watch for 90 minutes so I would know when to return to pick him up. So I'm like well why the hell do you keep calling her if you aren't telling her about the negotiations. My cousins final offer was 1, 200 baht under the condition that we are able to switch up. She still wanted 3, 000. We rode off and bid her good luck.

With out all the Hispanic immigrants, we would have NO work force. Every restaurant you go to is full of Hispanic workers, so are the factories etc. And there's no way I would go out there and pick strawberries. With out all the Hispanic workers, we would have no agricultural economy in California. It is what it is. A necessary evil.

Entry No. 2 on my shitlist would be Alcatraz. I do love the setup since the remodel, by far the most elaborate I have seen in Patts. However, I recall they had a lot more babydoll dancers (big-haired, doe-eyed girls the Japanese love) in early December. Now the girls are taller, certainly jailhouse tougher, in keeping with the motif. Might be some fellers' tastes, but not mine. That in itself does not qualify for Wildhawk Shitlist. What put Alcrataz on the list were the worthless male bathroom attendants who shoved the door on me after I failed to tip. I DO NOT tip washroom attendants. In fact, I should be paid for the intrusion on my privacy. On the scale of worthless Thai men, those working in gogos are off the charts.
Anyhow, no need to suffer in such a joint with all the superb competition in these environs.

Avoid Club Lollipop and Alcatraz.Thank you for sharing. I will return in August for 3 weeks and will definitely cross the places off my list. Bad customer service at certain clubs / gogo / bars can definitely ruin your trip and is unacceptable (no matter how hot the girls are inside). These places must be avoided. Even if you have money to burn. Thankfully there are many of venues to choose from there. Lack off patrons / business sends a powerful message to managers and owners.

Thanks for your comment. I have read some of your posts and viewed some of your photos. Thanks, I enjoyed them. I am glad you liked my report. I have gained valuable info from this forum, so I felt I needed to contribute. I don't post much, but when I do I try to make it detailed so it may be helpful for others. I had a few more encounters with ladies and was in many different bars, but didn't include them due to the length of my report. It would have been about the same as with the others. Lek was the best girl I had in every way. She was nice looking, but not a model type. I may look for some stunners next trip. I had some observations I was going to add but didn't. May be I will make some comments later or next trip report. I hope to stay for two months or so next time.

Ladyboys are around in different areas. You can't avoid them, except to just say no thanks if they approach you. That's what I did and never had a problem. The rates are the same as you stated.

Having read a few of the recent comments I decided to 'Walk the Walk. ' The beach road walk.
I started from Soi 6 and ended at the entrance to the Walking Street. The walk started at around three thirty in the afternoon.
I have never seen such a collection of sorry looking people like this in Pattaya before. Thai girls and foreigners. The girls looked like the girls that are left over in the bar at the end of the night after all the half decent ones have been bar fined just leaving the dross. Well it seems the dross have given up hoping that some foreigner will bar fine them and moved to the beach where there are no bar fines. Here they will charge 500 Baht. But really who would want to pay 500 Baht for these? Many had plastered their faces with makeup and were trying to look sexy. It didn't work. In fact I have to put this down as one of the ugliest walks I've ever taken. If these girls don't work in bars it's probably because the bars don't want them. Many were fat and looked incredibly lazy. A few others looked sick as if they had some kind of disease.

Yes, the overall SW talent level in BKK (at the NPL for example) is much higher. But of the 100's of ladies on Beach Road there always seemed to be a handful of acceptable choices. You just have to be patient. If there are no acceptable choices just try again in an hour or two. I also found that you have a better chance of a GFE with the Pattaya ladies than with the Bangkok ladies. YMMV.
The majority of the Pattaye SW ladies were found during from the Central Festival Mall down to the Soi 13's.

I spent over 2 months in Pattaya on my recent visit to Thailand. My observation. Many of the ladies on BR / WS have probably seen better days. Some have that 1000 meter stare. Shell shocked from too many battles with foreigners who want too much for too little. I think the top 5% of the ladies working as freelancers in BR can hold their own against ANY of the overpriced dancers in the clubs / discos on WS. I was riding my motorbike early one morning. An attractive lady drew my attention. I parked near Soi 10, crossed BR, and now have her phone number / name and enjoy getting a call from her every 3-4 days when I'm in Pattaya. Diamond miners have to sift through a lot of mud and silt before they find what they are looking for, right? Like playing Texas Hold'them. One has to wait, and pick their spots / opportunities when they present themselves. I found my gem around 9A! I've also been down BR at all hours of the day, and into early evening. I'm not hyper-selective, and I don't like walking sperm banks, but I have seen many ladies that I would really like to get to know in the bibical sense!

I can't believe some of the negative reports I have read about Beach Road. Come on guys, do we really think that Beach Road should be full of stunners for 500 ST and 1000 LT? I know there aren't many, but occasionally you get some nice lookers. There were a couple of hotties that I could kick myself for not taking. However, if you don't find what you want, you can always go to one of the bars along Beach Road. The ones near Pattaya Klang, soi 7 & 8 have some decent ladies for 300 BF and 500 ST / 1000 LT. Now for a few hundred baht more you can go from BR to one of the bars and look for a lady or you could avoid it and leave it to those of us who appreciate it for what it is. For me, I like the hunt. It adds to the thrill.

Maybe I am missing something, but that was my observation as I saw it.

There are always diamonds in the rough of Beach Road. Not at all times and not everyday but if you just keep your eye out one will appear. I never went there specifically looking but it's a nice stroll anyway on a not tooo hot a day and great at night.

The price is cheap enough. When I go in I may get something cheap and then do a walk around before they bring it to the location I plan on sitting down at. All of Pattaya's beer bar complexes are with in walking distance or can be reached by Baht bus in a matter of minutes. However if you do not fancy doing your 'courting' under the bright lights and load music of Pattaya City or, are just looking for something different then why not venture out to Pattaya's 'Dark Side' A part from money don't forget to take a towel and your swimming trunks! Even if it is 10PM.
Firstly let me dispel the rumors. Pattaya's 'Dark Side' has nothing to do with it being a place where you will have to go to to find 'gay men' or 'ladyboy's' A visit to Pattaya's 'Dark Side' does not mean you are gay or 'experimental' Yes, gay men and ladyboy's can be found in the 'Dark Side' but there again they can be found everywhere in Pattaya. Neither does the 'Dark Side' have any thing to do with 'Star Wars' and Darth Vader, So, I would not suggest taking the children!
Pattaya's 'Dark Side' is simply a common name given to the area east of the Sukhumvit road and the train tracks that lie just beyond it. The 'Dark Side'. A large area of Pattaya that is mainly without street lighting. The area is very popular with expats as you will see by the number of gated / secure housing complexes. Land prices and therefore rents are considerably cheaper in the 'Dark Side' Also, living on the 'Dark Side' means having to drive in to Pattaya. A bit like going out on a Saturday night in your country, it's nice to make the effort every now and then. The 'Dark Side' is relatively a haven of piece and tranquility on the edge of insanity!
Where there is housing, there are people, and where there are people in Pattaya, there are going to be beer bars, and beer bars employ bar girls or hostesses. There are more than fifty beer bars in the area known as the "Dark Side" nearly all of them have 'short time rooms' Where you may take your "new girlfriend" for some horizontal exercise for a small fee. Some of the beer bars even have 'swimming pools' too. Having never been in to one of these establishments? I will have to leave it to your imagination has to what happens in this type of beer bar.

We learn som Thai phrases, but learning their alphabet is a bit of a stretch for most of us.There are four parts to literacy: reading, writing, listening, and speaking. I would not say there is an "in general" as far as your question is concerned. I would say it depends on how far the paticular person went in school. Most Thais who speak English learn it as a second language in public school. And the first thing you are taught when you learn a foreign language is the alphabet for that language. Then there are the other Thais who will have learned English informally and on the fly. This includes some taxi drivers, street corner salespeople, and such. They are able to speak minimally, and listen for understanding when you speak slowly and clearly, but maybe not read or write. Anyway, I have noticed that the people who speak basic English and above are able to read and write it, so they do in fact have use for the Roman alphabet.

Offer food etc and say that you will go to the bar and pay tomorrows barfine right away. This happens before the bar is opened so no need for lady drinks etc. Or on other occations I've had girls say that common phrase around the extra tip."Up to you". In that case it's up to you and you may get a little puppy dog sad face if your tip is light but whatever you think is right is the right answer.

Knowing just these basics and with a pecuniary incentive they typically pick up a lot very quickly in Pattaya. In fact they do have a lot of uses for it, such as exchanging SMS with foreigners, using the internet, etc.
Here's an example of an SMS I just received:
"Hello, tilak (my name misspelled drastically) are you ok? Good sleep ok and hope you want to see me and want to fuck my ass again tonight ok(her name) sexzy ass."

The doorman was not polite to you. That is ignorance thought. Unless you can freely communicate in Thai. He is doing the best he can to communicate in English with you. You can not have the same expectations as far as courtseys go from a third world country. They were not raised the same way you were. Money is what drives this country. Your actions are actions that are perceived as disrespectful to this man or this establishment. A 55 baht or even a 90 baht drink is a small price to pay to keep good relations with a establisment that you may frequent again. If you choose not to frequent this establisment again then don't worry about buying the drink. But if you may want to then it's just a good policy or courtesey to buy a reasonably cheap drink even if you don't drink it. I order water or a cheap beer and sometimes don't drink it just to get a good look at the place.

Been here long enough to understand a few reasons why Pattaya has become such a popular location for older women, mothers and well-worn pros. This is the only place that they can get fucked and make a very small amount of money. The message must have been sent to all ugly women in Thailand. Go to Pattaya and make some money from the fat, old and sometimes smelly foreigners that now live in Pattaya, patrol the beach road and who only pay 300 to 500 Baht for a fuck. It's pathetic and totally fucked up Pattaya. These women are the lowest of the low. Thai men don't even fuck them. No wonder it's getting so hard to find decent sexy looking girls in Pattaya. These girls are staying away because they are a few leagues above foreigners living here. Why would they work in Pattaya where they have to deal with these people? The cheap rabbit like condos that have sprung up everywhere don't help. Foreigners buy these 25 square meter hutches and actually live in them. They drink excessive amounts of alcohol every day which helps give them the down and out pathetic appearance. The Thais just about tolerate them but really think they are the lowest of the low. First I all I want to admit that the following recommendations come from experiences going back a few years, so of course things may have changed. You mention Red Point and that has been my favorite overall thanks to Dao. I once had a great 3some at the King Kong bar, very memorable. Did some takeout from the Mandarin bar, with some good results.
Sleeziest overall experience was in the My Friend You bar, where I would have done well to have a look at the young lady in the daylight first before taking her upstairs. Her service was over the top, but I needed to keep my eyes closed at times due to some aesthetic marginality on her part.

Bell travel is perfect. They take you to Pattaya station from wer you get a van to hotel. All inclusive in price. Guess around 200 thb one way, trip takes more or less same taxi drive. But check with them via email. Then if you want sumting upscale & really posh go for the Penthouse limo!

Pick up some water out of Family Mart in the airport for 7 baht and keep going. Usually a taxi from BKK airport to Pattaya is 1000 baht + 60 baht tolls. People will try to get you for 1300. Since I started speaking a little Thai I have been getting them for 900 all in by jokingly telling them I am Thai while showing my Thai drivers license, and saying the numbers in Thai.
I say: Pattaya tao rai khrap?
They say: One thousand three hundred baht.
I say: (raising voice) MAI DAI! (can not) Bad roi, na? (800, right?)
They say: Neung pun (1000).
I say: Gao roi thuk yang, pah! (900 everything, let's go)

From Pattaya to the airport it is 800 baht + 60 baht tolls. If you flight arrives between 7am & 5pm you can take the bus (http://www.belltravelservice.com/) that will take you right to your hotel for 200 baht. Likewise if your flight departs between 12pm and after (last bus from Pattaya at 5pm) you can use this option as well.

So I'm looking for some serious feedback on the seediest and down & dirty bars on Soi 6.In late June I had a fair time with a girl at a short-time place called Sexy in the City, which had a couple of lookers. The price was 700 baht for the girl. 300 for the room, one hour. Regret to say that I forgot her name, but her getup was that she was wearing a baseball hat. 23 years old (wouldn't know that she had a child) , fabulous smile and amazingly pearly white teeth. BUUUUT be warned about this place, and perhaps much of Soi 6, and that is bars that mix real girls and LBs. As we chatted inside the bar (all of the available girls were touting out front, as seems to be the custom on Soi 6).
While chatting with the girl I suggested that there was another girl outside who looked great and might make a good threesome partner. So my girl exited and summoned a completely different, um. Thing. A LB hopped up on meth. The LB gave the girl (fortunately not me) a rough slap on the shoulder when I immediately sent him on his way, to which my friend just laughed. Within a couple minutes, the true object of my affection entered the bar on the arms of another punter. Oh well.

Only one in three of my LTs (barfines from Walking Street gogos) worked out as agreed (boom boom, sleep, wake and boom boom, breakfast and bye-bye) , and this was a 28 year old from Cassynovy who was all over me like I was a rock star. A hostess from Cave Bar as well as a girl from Super Baby were true pains in the ass. The Super Baby girl had wanted me to pay upfront in the bar, which I wisely refused. Back at the hotel she watched TV while I slept. At the time of my constitutionally provided boom boom she refused and said that I pounded her too long the night before, about the same time she insisted that I buy her food from room service. As a breakfast buffet for two was part of my hotel, I informed her that I would not be spending extra money but that she could join me for breakfast. She refused, so I sent her packing with the ST fee of 2000 baht, far too generous in retrospect.
That was my last piece in Thailand. Fortunately, a couple hours before barfining the Super Baby girl I had mind-blowing sex upstairs at Nui's Club on Walking Street. Mam, short orange-ish hair. 26 or so. I pleasured her with DATY that triggered multiple orgasms. Made her VERY happy, and she repaid the favor. I just finished my first trip to Pattaya after more than 5 years. I regularly get to Bangkok, but not Pattaya. My impression based on a couple of trips in 2004-2005 was I felt gawked at by eco tourists and thought that the bars were more about shows and spectacles catering to regular tourists and not really about hooking up with the ladies (mainly into Walking Street).
I don't know if I changed or Pattaya changed, but I can't articulate how much better Pattaya is now than my old memories of it. The whole thing is just tearing apart at the seams with beautiful ladies, and I couldn't believe how many ladies I found exactly like I like them. Although I remembered from before the bars being mainly about shows, this time when specifically seeking out that type of bar (such as when bar-hopping with a lady) , we couldn't even find such a bar (except Angelwitch). There are no longer hordes of giggling girls from Singapore in the bars just watching the shows. Also much fewer Japanese guys compared to Bangkok. The best bar (best quality ladies) was Baccara although unfortunately I got too drunk and made a fool of myself there and pretty much drove away all of the ladies, in that particular bar. I hope they have a high turnover rate and don't remember me when I come back.
In comparison to Pattaya, my long-time favorite city Bangkok now seems pretty dull. I can hardly even imagine going back there now. The funny thing is with the traffic congestion in Bangkok, it doesn't take that much longer to get from Suvarabhumi to Pattaya compared to Sukhumvit area of Bangkok.

A limo would be considered a normal car (generally Volvo) that is not marked as a taxi. I don't blame you about the bus, going anyway, because you will be so excited to get there. I only take the bus to and from the airport when doing a flight to / from The Philippines or inside of Thailand. Otherwise, my flight to / from the USA is out of the bus operating hours anyway. Also, if your flight arrives an hour and a half or more before the bus is due to leave then I would just go ahead and do the taxi because again you will be excited to get there and won't feel like waiting around. Believe it or not though it takes the same amount of time whether by car or bus. I have timed it several times.

And from my memory of earlier this year in LOS, taxi to and from Patts to BKK was 1000 Baht each way door to door. Now, I'll be arriving with a friend, is the 1k taxi charge from BKK to Patts per person or for both us?

For staying in this area it helps if you drink 30 to 40 bottles of beer per day and are quite happy to listen to old foreigners telling the same old stories over and over again. You are not staying. It is completely OK to walk into a bar and have a look. Then if you don't like what you see (its crowded, no other people, ugly girls, whatever) , walk out. Either there is a cover charge or this isn't. Period.
To each his own, but I don't buy anything if I'm not going to use it or in this case drink it.
.buy a reasonably cheap drink even if you don't drink it. I order water or a cheap beer and sometimes don't drink it just to get a good look at the place.
I've been going to Bangkok for over a dozen years now, but have never been to Pattaya. I plan to pay a visit in November and would like a hotel recommendation. I would like something that is right near the action and girl-friendly. However, I would prefer a 4-star or 5-star hotel. I noticed the Marriott and the Hilton on the Internet. Any comments on those? Any other recommendations on nice hotels that are girl-friendly and near the action? I would also prefer something on the ocean with a nice beach. Thank you.

I have walked the stretch of Beach Road many times and stood on Walking St. Watching the girls stroll down from Beach Road. Once through the arch they change their price structure but their appearance hasn't changed a bit. Although Walking St. Is nice there isn't one area in Pattaya that has a exlusive lock on quality nor a area that people don't sit and eat and talk story.
It must be lonely locking yourself in one area and not open to meeting people except the ones you pay. I wonder along with others on this board why you even bother to come to Pattaya with such a general and narrow view of life here. CanyonFirst time, nothing actually on the Beach! Both the Marriort and Hilton is located on Beach Road but to get to the beach you have to cross the street. The Marriort is closer to Walking St. But the Hilton sit on top of Central Festival Shopping Center and has a better view of the beach if your room faces it. Can't go wrong with both of these choices.

CanyonThe Marriott Pattaya is GF and just a few blocks from Walking Street in one direction and a few blocks from Devil's Den in another. It is where I usually stay when in town, but at best I can only rate this hotel a 4. 25 star hotel. The main thing they have is a great pool / garden area to relax during the day, a very good breakfast buffet with lots of fresh fruits, juice, western and eastern dishes, and the private back entrance right off beach road that leads straight into the garden area which allows me to discreetly bring my girls back at night. I just say high to the security guard as I walk in, he smiles and salutes me. I prefer the rooms in the 4 story annex adjacent to the pool / garden area and the back entrance because they are so private and have offer up a great tropical ambiance. Bring your girl back to your room at night one time and you will appreciate this layout too. So I suggest that you request one of those rooms unless you really want an ocean view. The higher floor rooms in the main building have the ocean view, are newer and seem to be in better shape, but I still prefer the garden rooms best.
I never stayed at the Hilton. I don't think I ever will. The rooms are probably very good, but its location is not that close to Walking Street like the Marriott and I am not a fan of high rise beachfront hotels. If you plan to spend more time on Soi 6, 7, and 8 then maybe the Hilton might work out for you. I have a Marriott Chase credit card so that is another factor for me in favor of the Marriott, but I repeat the things I like best about this hotel are the pool / garden area, the private entrance off Beach Road, the location and the breakfast buffet.

With Soi LK Metro on the rise (seemingly) , the property values are going up. Making the current owners life difficult might just be part of a bigger plan to get one's hands on that prime corner? Can someone who stayed at the Penthouse tell him about the condition, the quality of the place and if the rooms are as erotic as they indicate.

As others have noted, reasonable stopovers are not a problem.
As for the type of car, I've had mixed results. Sometimes the driver shows up in a Camry (or whatever Toyota calls that model in Thailand). For a single passenger I find that car plenty large. But occasionally the driver shows up in a Corolla, which is not nearly as large. The trunk is also very small, which could be a problem if you have a lot of luggage. I see on the company's web site that different cars are available. So it the type of ride is important, I'm sure you could book what you want in advance.

Throughout the years this board has now grown to over 51 threads and that includes the achives which are useful but so many have been added which were unnecessary because of of a few heavy handed suggestions to Jackson to add or split threads because individuals were just too impatient to hear opinions or even disagreements. Jackson being a busy man has improve the software for his site but hasn't deleted the many useless thread that currently exist with outdated posting dates that doesn't reflect recent postings. A good example is " Opinions " this still show a posting date of 2009 when posting has been made in 2011.
In 2003, when I came to this board I didn't mind RTFF throughout the limited threads to find my information this in my opinion made me do my homework along with me reading recommendations and getting opinions good or bad so I can get both perpective. Today! As soon as you come to Thailand, you see 51 threads and human nature has shown me who the hell wants to RTFF 51 Threads so people don't read and they take the easy route instead of RTFF. As recently posting (nothing personal) someone ask a question regarding a hotel stay outside of the specific thread. This could have lead to Singkid opinion that some have taken information from forums like this and had their holiday ruined because all they got was the good opinions. Its like someone opening a Penthouse magazines and only looking at the pictures and not reading any of the good stories within the magazine.
As long as people aren't willing to be patient and allow for the discussion to run it course and suggestion of more and more threads be created and splitted you will have more useless thread than useful ones.

First time I visited I stayed at the Queen Vic on Soi 6 and while it was nice, it was too much in the thick of things. Any suggestions on centrally-located, GF, inexpensive places? Where do you go back to again and again?

I returned after a year away to find the place ruined! The police are chasing away all young (under 20 officially and all newbies unofficially) women from Beach Road. I have traveled to more than 40 different countries and I have to say that, for ME, a few days in Pattaya compares favorably with ANY other destination, world wide, as a value for money location for our hobby.
There are few destinations ANYWHERE that can give a man so much choice.
Asian, Black and Slavic girls are all readily available. Girls from, Disco's, Bar Beer's, Massage shops, Go-Go's, Part timers, Street meat and Civilians are ALL available.
So, for any 'Newbee's' that may be put off by the moans and complaints then DON'T BE!
There is something in Pattaya for EVERYONE and with prices from 500 (or less) to 5, 000 (or more) Baht. It is still my belief that Pattaya is probably STILL in the top 10, possibly the top 5, value for money mongering destinations WORLD WIDE.

OK. It may not be as good as it was X number of years ago but where the hell is?
Also, our memories are 'rather selective' when looking back and we only seem to remember the GOOD times!
Anyway, Pataya 'is what it is' and we can not change that. Best that we just 'try' to enjoy what is so readily available there.
I have traveled to more than 40 different countries and I have to say that, for ME, a few days in Pattaya compares favorably with ANY other destination, world wide, as a value for money location for our hobby.
There are few destinations ANYWHERE that can give a man so much choice.
Asian, Black and Slavic girls are all readily available. Girls from, Disco's, Bar Beer's, Massage shops, Go-Go's, Part timers, Street meat and Civilians are ALL available.
So, for any 'Newbee's' that may be put off by the moans and complaints then DON'T BE!
There is something in Pattaya for EVERYONE and with prices from 500 (or less) to 5, 000 (or more) Baht. It is still my belief that Pattaya is probably STILL in the top 10, possibly the top 5, value for money mongering destinations WORLD WIDE.

Chris HWell if you are picking the top five VALUE FOR MONEY, or Best Bang per Buck, destinations then Pattaya (or, probably MOST of Thailand) would definitely be high on MY list.
Cambodia would also be there as would Argentina, and probably Indonesia (Batam & Jakarta.)
However I MUST stress that this is only based on a current 'VALUE FOR MONEY' rating.
I have had GREAT times with many memorable experiences in Brazil (especially Rio) but now, with the current rate of exchange, I would NOT put Brazil high in my value for money rankings.
Bolivia (Santa Cruz) also comes quite high on my VFM list although it is rather small and does not have the variety that many other of the locations offer.
However, if we are drawing up a list of destinations for the 'Best POSSIBLE experience' irrespective of price then I am SURE that a completely different list of destinations might well come up!

Mm, I read somewhere that a good position at a decent hotel, say reception manager, they earn 200 bahts a day.Usually they quote it in monthly salary, and 8000-9, 000 baht is the norm for an ordinary receptionist at a middle range hotel, so a little more than what you quote, typically with just a couple of days off a month. At a middle to better range hotel the 'reception manager' would almost certainly make more like 12, 000 or even 15, 000.

I spent 5 days in Pattaya last week after my vacation in Vietnam. Pattaya is a classic destination in Europe among bachelors who travel to Thailand so I wanted to visit the place and see it with my own eyes. The 5 days I spent there turned our to be one the best of my travelling history.
First of all my hotel Siam Bayshore resort and spa was fantastic. The location is perfect, just 5 min walk to the bars and discos on walking street but still far enough from all the noise. Maybe the reason I have never been there before and seen the "good old days" helped since I did not have a reference. My April trip to Jakarta and Macau had been an exercise in changing plans on the fly, and the final Thailand leg was no exception. My initial plan had been to spend a couple of days in Pattaya and then finish up with two in Bangkok. I never made it to Bangkok itself; Pattaya seems to have that affect on people.
After my flight from Macau to Bangkok airport I took the Rong Reuang bus to Pattaya for 124 Baht; in retrospect I should have taken the slightly more expensive Bell bus for 200 Baht that included a van drop off at my hotel (I didn't since I had not yet settled on a hotel). Since this was my maiden voyage to Pattaya I didn't know the lay of the land and ended up walking from the bus stop a longer distance than ideal in the heat and humidity, but a fellow American did help me find my way. A taxi driver did give me short lift to the Opey De Place Hotel on Soi Lengkee. A 4th floor deluxe room was available for 990 Baht; it was a bit simpler than I would normally associate with 'deluxe, ' but was clean and had ac, tv, and a balcony. The pool, in a courtyard filled with greenery, was a nice feature that I didn't use as much as I wanted. The hotel's main advantage was its location on a relatively calm side street but near the intersection of Soi Diana and Soi Buakhao and a short walk from Soi LK Metro, putting it within reach of attractions.
I began my walking tour of Pattaya at around 7 that evening, and it frankly overwhelmed me. Despite all I had read about the place, I wasn't ready for the scale of the sex. Arrived in Pattaya after two nights in both Bangkok and Chiang Mai where the initial discharge of relief happened on all nights. I decided to check out a lot of Pattaya staying at Eastiny Seven for the first night, which of course is GF and close to a lot of beer bars. Checked most in the early evening and then proceeded to Beach Road to check the freelancers as well as the bars up to the beer garden. Saw and spoke to plenty available but really none grabbed me so after eating then proceeded to Walking St.
Checked a couple of Go Go places with nice girls but decided I wanted something a little older and experienced. Went back to beer bars on second road and there met a lady aged 29 who took my eye and spoke well with good english. Decided to buy a couple of lady drinks to to make sure of my choice and then about 11. 00pm bar fined her for 300 bf and after asking 2000 long time she dropped to 1000 which was fine for me. Back to hotel for a superb session and stayed all night and had a morning session before breakfast.
Not being happy with hotel I sent her home while I found a good hotel and then met her at 11. 00. She wanted to spend the day with me. Checked into Areca Lodge (girls no problem) with her and I decided she could stay another night. From then on the service just got superb to the point I had to slow her down at times as she was too much for me. Every time of the day when we arrived back at the hotel she would strip off naked and lay on the bed and you know what starts then.
Hotel was just across the road from LK Metro, so with my girl we visited many bars there. All good drinking and eating with plenty of available ladies. Things were so good for me I did something which was not normal for me. I kept my friend for 6 days where we lived together the whole time. It was so good I was sad to have to wave good bye to her. But have already booked my fare to Pattaya in November. If she is around, maybe. If not there are plenty of opportunities.
I decided Pattaya was so far ahead of Chiang Mai and Bangkok that next time I would head straight to Pattaya. By the way the scuba diving there is good as well.
Off to Ko Samui now and then to Phuket. I do not know what is in store for me but will find out.
