Can you please help me with a location for Top Charon. Don't recall it as it has been a couple of years since I hgave been able to return. Could be on the scheduls this fall thought.
ThanksThey are everywhere in Pattaya where tourists go. Just look for the blue and white signs.
Arrived in Pattaya after two nights in both Bangkok and Chiang Mai where the initial discharge of relief happened on all nights. I decided to check out a lot of Pattaya staying at Eastiny Seven for the first night, which of course is GF and close to a lot of beer bars. Checked most in the early evening and then proceeded to Beach Road to check the freelancers as well as the bars up to the beer garden. Saw and spoke to plenty available but really none grabbed me so after eating then proceeded to Walking St.
Checked a couple of Go Go places with nice girls but decided I wanted something a little older and experienced. Went back to beer bars on second road and there met a lady aged 29 who took my eye and spoke well with good english. Decided to buy a couple of lady drinks to to make sure of my choice and then about 11. 00pm bar fined her for 300 bf and after asking 2000 long time she dropped to 1000 which was fine for me. Back to hotel for a superb session and stayed all night and had a morning session before breakfast.
Not being happy with hotel I sent her home while I found a good hotel and then met her at 11. 00. She wanted to spend the day with me. Checked into Areca Lodge (girls no problem) with her and I decided she could stay another night. From then on the service just got superb to the point I had to slow her down at times as she was too much for me. Every time of the day when we arrived back at the hotel she would strip off naked and lay on the bed and you know what starts then.
Hotel was just across the road from LK Metro, so with my girl we visited many bars there. All good drinking and eating with plenty of available ladies. Things were so good for me I did something which was not normal for me. I kept my friend for 6 days where we lived together the whole time. It was so good I was sad to have to wave good bye to her. But have already booked my fare to Pattaya in November. If she is around, maybe. If not there are plenty of opportunities.
I decided Pattaya was so far ahead of Chiang Mai and Bangkok that next time I would head straight to Pattaya. By the way the scuba diving there is good as well.
Off to Ko Samui now and then to Phuket. I do not know what is in store for me but will find out.Both Koh Samui and Phuket are pretty good. Beaches are much better than Pattaya (if you care).
Phuket=Bangla Road. Gogo's and plenty of FL's. Depends on what you like, but the MP's are really good in Phuket. Lots of girls willing to go LT and from my experience their service is great.
Koh Samui is very low key with great beaches. There are girls (bars) in both Chaweng and Lamai. Not a lot of girls like Pats or Phuket, but enough. Again though, I was impressed with the MP scene. Every girl I snagged at those places begged me to take them LT. All gave great GFE including BB offers.
Phuket gets pretty crowded, but still not as bad as Pattaya.
The food at both places is very good.

This was my forth trip within a year and even though the flights can be exhausting and pricy, it is still well worth the travel time and money. Mr. E, that tip on the cell phone sim card was priceless! If one girl didn't show up for my afternoon romp, I just called another.
I stayed 8 nights at the Penthouse, my favorite home away from home. See Penthouse thread for report. I knew that 8 nights would call for at least 3 bottles of my buddy, Mr. Bubble. No matter how old the girl was, they played in the bubbles like they were 5 years of age. I also like introducing the water jets to the girls; my goodness they had a blast.
Freelancers.
There was several tents set up for vendors in the Coconut Bar, so there was not a lot of activity on Beach Road, but then again, I only walked it a couple of times. The freelancers were abundant in the Beer Garden, Discos, and on Walking Street. Some were hotties, some OK, some not OK.
Soi 6.
Jon1283 and myself went on a Soi 6 crawl. It wasn't much of a crawl, but we did hit 4 places. Full Moon, Lisa, Red Point, and Passion Dance Club. My favorite was sitting outside with the girls at Lisa and watching then interact with people walking by, and how two of them interacted with me. My least favorite was Passion. The dancers had bodies like skeletons. Not even sure how their clothes stayed on; my guess was super glue.
Alcatraz.
I was in search of my girl, AMP, who worked at X-Zone on my last trip. She told me on FB that she worked at Alcatraz; so I stopped in. No AMP to be found, but the place was quite busy and I don't understand why. Out of the 15+ dancers on the stages and platforms, only one was topless. The club has this new hot tub in the back with a couple of naked women washing each other, but no one seemed interested but me.
The Moon.
A new club on WS. When I walked in and sat down, I had a,"What in the fuck were they thinking" moment. I mean, do any of these owners do any market research? Wacked out theme, but there were a few hotties dancing; one drink and gone.
Rhino.
I got a FB message from AMP that she was now working at Rhino. The club has been open for a little over a month. I tracked down Mamasan and we had a drink and talked. A good share of hotties were dancing, but no AMP. Mamasan told me that AMP worked yesterday, but was not working today; damn the bad luck. But the place was quite nice and I will return to this club.
Tahitian Queen 2.
I stopped in for the 2 for 1 drink special and to check out one of the girls that I liked this past April. She was a friend on the one that skipped out on me during the New Year's festival. Tall girl, long hair, and a good dancer. She was quite appealing until she laid a lip lock on me and played the "Who can suck the tongue out of each other's mouth" game. After about three kisses, I felt like calling for a medic. That was the end of our short relationship.
Happy.
I think that Happy has one of the best line ups of girls in Pattaya. But then again, I have not been in all the clubs that Pattaya has to offer. I think it would take 3-4 months to go through them all.
Baby Dolls.
One of my favorite clubs nowadays. Mamasan is a real sweetie. I found out Mamasan has 4 nieces that dance in the club; talk about all in the family. Because I had so much going on this trip, I was only able to stop in a few times. But each time I enjoyed watching the cuties on stage and checking out the shows; the place has a nice mix to it.
Champion.
I found out that Mamasan Sue, that used to work at Baby Dolls, now has her own club at Champion. Having a couple of drinks with her, she told me that she averages 40-45 girls a night; geez lousie, that's a lot of pussy. I was taking a phone call outside when this beauty in a robe walked by and said Hello. I stopped her and said,"You are fucking beautiful!" She was one of the Champion girls and I was in love for the 5th time of my trip. I bar fined her the following night.
Club Relaxxx.
This place is directly below the X-Zone. I usually by bypass the place, but one night the door was open and there was a free buffet, yep, got my attention. I sat next to the hot tub and 2 women were playing with bubbles. It got a bit annoying because the bubbles keep getting in my drink. But I did get a chance to look around and there were a few hotties in the mix.
X-Zone.
This was base camp for me. No matter what I did throughout the day and evening, I always made it to the Zone. I love Mamasan, the girls, and the staff. Mamasan threw a big party on Monday evening and catered all the food, and bought me a half bottle of Tequila to boot which I shared with one of my girls. I had the opportunity to play with one of the servers, the hostess, and two of the dancers; none seemed jealous of the other. My favorite performer, Puy, seems to be off the market and I'm happy for her, in a strange and sad way. CK (crazy Korean) is still going strong with the shows. I was sitting at Sin Bin talking to the owner, Ian, and told him I was planning to go fishing from his bar. This confused him until he heard me talking to girls that were walking by. It wasn't long before Bow walked by. She ignored me on her first trip by, but on her return trip, with a little urging, she came over to the bar. Turns out, Bow works close to my hotel, and after a couple of drinks, we headed for my room.
Bow is a village girl that has only been in Pattaya for 3 months. A little shy and quite naive; I like both. She thought the sex swing was something from her grade school years, I explained and showed her differently; that was fun! I introduced her to Mr. Bubble and the water jets; more fun indeed. We played in the room for a couple of hours and she was surprised when I handed her 1000b. The next few days I was quite busy, but I always stopped at her bar and bought her a drink up until I left.

- Waste time wondering why there are so many families with kids on Walking Street.
- Consider, even for a second, that a crosswalk is a safe haven.
- Buy into the "Sky is falling and there are no more women in Pattaya" bullshit

You can either enter from Beach Road, or 2nd Road. You won't see if from the edge of the road though. But you will see signs, so you can easily follow the signs to the place.
I've been inside twice to take a look. My friend has been with a few girls from there. He said that some of the girls working there are models. They even show you the magazines, these models are from, so you know it's genuine. The rooms are really nice too. He prefers this place to the other soapies because there rooms are more modern and bigger.
But you pay more too.
They have 2 areas when you walk inside.
One room of regular girls, and another room of models. I think the models are all very fair skin. (plus charge more)
Cannot remember the prices though.
Other soapies normally charge 1800b for 90 minutes. I think Rasputin starts above 2000b.

Actually It was a 'hotel like' building being used for the purpose with a person on the front desk handling room keys, a helper bringing the supplies and even room service if you want drinks etc. Some of the girls were good looking and some were average but most were fair skinned. They had two rates 1800 and 2500 depending on the girl but the girl I chose obviously ended up being 2500. My girl didn't speak any English so if I go there next time I would probably get someone who spoke some english. Overall a nice experience.

Especially buying a drink for the Mamasans. Not only does it open up doors for you, but it also helps in case of any problems with any of the girls. I will be there in Patts in October.

Such a change from reading all the BS and the guys spending hours searching the beach for their 50 Baht fuck with diamond that is just not there. Of course you found what you were looking for because you were looking in the right place. Yes this involved spending more than 50 Baht but you came to Pattaya to party and you didn't care.

I have also read a LOT of bullshit reports and people complaining about the quality, service etc. I found exactly what I was looking and luckily even a bit more. Yes my trip surely was not the most economical one but as I travel to places like Pattaya max once a year I really don't give a fuck about the costs. Of course I don't want to throw my money in the air but if I see someone I like I pay for the price she asks if this is not skyhigh.
Save at home, spend on the holiday!

I haven't contributed to the Thailand threads as they are very comprehensive and there are books written on these places by better writers with deeper insight than I. But I got the chance to visit again and after cruising the reports decided to visit Pattaya for the first time. Now I have spent a lot of time in other areas of this wonderful country, and cannot fathom how I never came to this town before. More concentrated vice and mongering opportunity per square meter than a sober mind can contemplate. Thus my inability to sleep and the constant intake of ice cold beers since my arrival at about 10 PM last night.
Now I sit in Lewiinski's, a place I found thanks to Mr. Popper's hotel thread. Here is a summary of my moments leading to the writing of this post that I thought would be helpful to any people new to this city.
Arrival in BKK airport, got a cab to Pattaya at the public taxi stand with a female driver who flirted with me the whole time (was not cute enough to take her up on the offers). Cost a total of 1500 Bhat. I drank two beers which I bought in the airport and was here in about 90 minutes. Not bad.
The driver could not find the hotel I originally wanted (Riviera Hotel on Soi 13/2) , so I checked into a place called the Hotel Norge which is sort of a dump just around the corner from where I was looking on Soi 14. It has a small room (meaning about the size of the bed) with a powerful AC and hot water for Bh 350, and sits about a five minute stroll from walking street. No charge for girls, just need to leave their I'd at the desk. The woman running the place at the front counter is fun and makes a lot of jokes. No need to pay up front.". You pay tomorrow." she said when I checked in.
Three girls in my first hours here. The first ones I overpaid for, as is often the case when the boner drives the bargain. Got a hotel room above the bar (cannot remember the name) for Bh 500, and paid Bh 500 fine and Bh 1000 for her with a short term contract. Went back in and saw a prettier friend that I took home for the night and paid her Bh 2000 on top of the bar fine. Both were very fun and played their role well.
This morning I was strolling the beach to clear my head and saw a pretty girl who I talked to and questioned about some logistics such as buying a SIM card (Bh 100 in any 7/11). Ended up going to a room (Bh 100 for an hour) and paying her Bh 500 for her services. She was great as well. Gave her Bh 20 to get a cab and came here to have my first beer of the morning. Promises to be a very adventurous 3 days, and I doubt I will ever visit Bangkok again.

Based on some very good prior reviews I had originally booked her for my last trip only to see her leave before I arrived, so I decided to use her return to make a booking. If I remember correctly I had her on her first day back at the Den. And she was horny as hell.

The Go-Go girls are taking another bashing and being rejected in favor of those 'Non Mechanical' fuck goddesses that pander to all customers' whims / fantasies and never give a bad performance. Last time I looked the queue to get in stretched about three blocks. The knock on effect from this is that for sale signs have now gone up on 95% of the Go-Go Bars in Pattaya as the masses head away from the really sexy girls and exciting carnival atmosphere of the Walking Street.
Are the guys joining the queue making a good choice? Should they believe the hype? Well when they do eventually have their turn they will find out. They will learn if they have made an expensive mistake or found something available in no other place in Pattaya. I met a guy the other night. He had DD in his boxes to be ticked. He tried it and the process didn't work for him. Instead of a tick he ended up putting a cross in his box.
BTW the bit about 95% of the Go-Go Bars in Pattaya for sale is not true. Don't believe everything you read here.

Have't paid over 1000baht for my ST from Russia with love. Additionally, the last time I found a true stunner. Thin, tall, long hair, beautiful smile, great body, and a true performer back in the room. I am hoping to get a repeat with her, crossing my fingers she is still there as I still have her number.

I was looking for a GF Friendly hotel in Pattaya and found Penthouse hotel. Very unique and intresting. Can someone PM me your Personal exp with the hotel. Be it bad or good. Please share your exp. So that would be helpful.
Thanks, I stayed there back in February. Yes, interesting place but I won't recomend it. Expensive if you compare to the price you pay and what you get. You don't need all sex possabilites in-house, they are more expensive compared to what you get elsewhere.
Next time I go I will find a smaller GF hotel and pay much less, like 450-550 BHT per night. Across the street is a BJ Bar, almost as having the services in-house as at Penthouse but paying a fraction.

Reason I have two is one for me and another was given to me for compensation. Although they are good, riding around in Pattaya it is hot and with the full shield I hardly get any air when the shield is down. And if your eyes have problem with the sun and need to protect them with the full coverage you can't wear any type of eye protective ware. Although the plastic shield comes dark it doesn't protect your eyes from the UV rays at all but does a good job if you ride at night from the big bugs smacking you in the face or eye. The biggest negative is that these helmets shields are very hard to find replacement shields once they break or get scratch and they do get scratch easily since the design and retaining screws aren't standard.
Just get yourself something in the mid-range with a common shield replacement that you can find at most helmet shops. Drive safely and you got nothing to worry about?

In Pattaya, for helmet like the one you are talking about the young boys are cutting the straps to get the helmet so take it with you.

Day 1.
After 25 hour trip, landed in Sea Me Spring. The hotel messed up the pickup but quickly fixed after 1 hour wait.
Coming in to Pattaya at 2 AM not ideal but the hotel's room boy arranged a wonderful massage to get rid of all aches and pain. A good looking girl turned up and did a very good massage and refused for any thing beyond. That a surprise start at Pattaya. One of the best massages I have had and no complains at all. If you need her contact detail for a very good massage, PM me. When I asked for more service, she said even for 5000 B, she wouldn't do the short time. I didn't want to push her further.
Later that day called our man John in DD and got Guy. The best part of DD as many of you know, the professional way John is running the operation. Believe me, Guy came up a actual printed bill for me to (may be for claiming in my expense report ). However, the session was very mechanical. She has all the tricks which DD is famous for, however in MHO, well used, production line experience. I don't want give up on DD as they serve a purpose of overall Pattaya experience. I will try them latter with some new person later.
Didn't venture out more as I heard US Army has invaded Pattaya's ground during that week.

Day 2.
Went to Rasputin. Picked up #15. It turned out to be an unbelievable experience. My luck indeed. Either she is a good actor or a very good professional, she has condensed so much emotion in the session, I keep pinching myself to believe it. It was so intense, I couldn't come even after 2 hour session with various acts. Said thank you and left.
After that session, I didn't think it is going to get any better, went to hotel for sleep. But couldn't. Called our Dreem Teen and asked for a outcall at 10:30 PM. Got Teamgmo. Had a good session. Considering 12 midnight is her shift end, asked her to go out with me to Walking Street. It turned about to be blast. She took me to Angle Witch and saw the act. I willn't be able to hear any more violin in my life any more without thinking about an act where she fiddles on her body. I strongly recommend this place. Then went to Baccara. Good looking girls but nothing more. Then went to Lucifer and danced all night before returning back to room. Strongly recommend Teamgmo or what ever her name was. Day 3.
I didn't know how to make a better day than yesterday. To top it, I have to do some thing weird. I have heard about lesbo action in Baby Dolls and X Zone. Want to mix them and see how it goes. Went to Baby Dolls and lot of lollipops and lemon sequence sessions going on. While having a lollipop, picked up Mot, a most lesbo I could see in action and bar fined her. Told her we will do some more bar hunting. Took her to XZone. Oh! What a session. Got Ooo on the table and both the girls turned the heat on. Few others joined. It went on for a hour with various session. Those who had been to XZone would know Ooo is one of the best dancer in XZone. Bar fined Ooo and said let's party more.
Believe me, with two hot girls in hand went to various bars. Ooo can't sit hearing music where ever we went. In few places both the girls started dancing on the tables where rest of the bar girls just sat and watched. This is the Pattaya I always dreamed off and had one to top yesterday.
Came back to hotel at 4 30 AM and slept at 6 30 AM. What a day

Day 4.
Mot slept in the room until 6 PM. Considering this was my last day in Pattaya, I want to give another chance to DD before forming any opinion. Asked John and too a newbie Jenna. Turned out to be great person as she is eager to get trained. If our fellow friends in this forum can help train her, in few months, she will certainly become a Cake or Dar.
Went back to X Zone to thank mamasan for yesterday's help. For any one who like to go to XZone, mamasan in XZone is a wonderful wonderful person. She takes care of the girls so much, these girls are attached to her. Once again had a good time in XZone. Went to Windmill, not my taste and felt it is very small. Went to What's Up. Acts are elaborate but I felt it encourages Japanese than any one else. So left that place soon.
Overall, it was a great experience. After such fun full days, heading to Siem Reap to absolve then heading to Angles (AC) for few days.

On the Russian part, I am not in LOS to bang Russians but my friend loves Russians, he has been chatting in walking street with at least 15 Russian girls on different evenings, asking the right questions right away (they are mainly all from Ukraine) , there was no way to take them out for ST or LT, even not in their private morning time, not allowed from their boss or organization, even a good money did not worked the right way, so lucky you.

Glad you are making your way back to Pattaya. Don't be so sensitive though. I've been going to Pattaya for many years now. So while you are on trip 2, I am pushing trip 20 something. The one thing I've learned about Pattaya is it is always changing. Bars open and close. And new areas get developed. When I first started going, Walking Street was only half the size, Drinking Street didn't exist, and only the seasoned vets knew about Boukaw and the joints on the other side of 3rd Road and beyond. So as many times as I go, there is always something new to experience. So don't get my words twisted. My goal is to see if there is some off the beaten path spots out there some of the vets would like to share besides the usual suspects.
But rest assured, this is still MY playground, so both of my balls will be staying put. Honestly, instead of giving me grief, you should be asking some questions that might make your trip a bit more enjoyable, especially since we will be there around the same time. Not trying to sound like a know it all, cause I don't, but I am always willing to share what I do know. So check your tone next time, and if there is something you do want to know just ask me and I will be happy to answer.

LBMWow, you guys sure are super sensitive about Pattaya. Look fellas. If I have offended anyone's love for Pattaya, I do truly apologize! Take a moment and ask anyone who has been going there for years, and I am sure they will share the same observation. Things have gotten a much slower, there aren't as many girls, nor are there as many stunners, and it keeps getting more expensive. Those are the facts. Now, is that an attempt to insult Pattaya, like it seems some of you believe, I don't think so. It is what it is. Still we all keep going year after year, because even at its worst there is no place on the planet like it.
So it is not me fellas, it is Pattaya, and if you have been going there as long as I have, there is no way you could disagree with me. As great as it is today, it is nothing compared to when I first started going. Back when the baht was 40:1 USD, and the bars were packed and walking street and soi 8 were overflowing with people every night. You don't see that anymore. Maybe a few times a week tops. Even in low season, the place seemed like it was going to burst at the seams.
You are right, LBM, I have nothing to complain about. I've always done very well in Pattaya, and hopefully always will. Still, it never hurts to get suggestions for new spots IN Pattaya, that are less known. As I have learned over the years, there are a lot of places you can go to in Pattaya and on the out skirts of Pattaya, that you will never know about, unless you ask!

Pattaya is a fun place and people come here have a great time and expect it to stand still when they go home and when they decide to come back start right back up where they left off. Life is unfair and time doesn't stand still for anyone or anyplace it just doesn't happen. I stay in Pattaya for many reason but mostly because of the access to the ocean (dirty of not) I'm sure it was crystal clear at one time in Pattaya, things change sometimes and not for the better. Even in your own words you admit that but then put yourself out there and contradict yourself by writting how great a time you had. I'm not insulted just wondering what you want? It is you, yes Pattaya is changing we can't stop it but you on the other hand got to except that fact that time hasn't stood still for you. When you do that forget the past and try to experience the new whether it is good or bad and if each trip just can't live up to your original expectation you will look for a new destination and when you do you might have a great experience but when you return certainly you will not be able to duplicate it again. That is life and the sooner you know this the sooner you will start to have a good time again or move on.
The first time I came to Thailand, I stayed in Bangkok, I hated it with a passion, everything look dark and dirty couldn't see anything or where you were located. Felt everyone was out to get me. Then I found Pattaya and years later I return to Bangkok, I got a fresh perpective, was it Bangkok no it was me? Not I enjoy taking the bus from time to time to visit. Has it change yes! So have I? Girls change and age and maybe you ought to look in the mirror to see more wrinkles and less of a hairline I'm sure the girls might be thinking your not as handsome as the last time? But as long as you pay who cares?

Can you recommend any specific bars or can't miss places?Since its your first time, I'd suggest checking out as many as you can to see what you like.
Personally, if barhopping on walking street, I prefer sticking to these: Airport, Peppermint, Alcatraz, Happy, Whats Up, Superbaby, Baby Dolls.
Also if you notice the girls started to thin out in the gogos (which can happen by 1am) , then head to the discos (Climax & Insomnia) there will be talent in and around there for sure.

Last time I visited a Go-Go Bar in Bangkok, I didn't want to offend by giving too little so I gave the mamasan 100 baht. She was quite pleased with this amount and hooked me up with a very nice lady. Later on the lady asked me why I gave mamasan so much."That is too much", she said. I've been spending a lot of time in Europe & Latin America. Not to mention enjoying some P4P in my native lands in North America. So my concept of pricing is a bit skewed.
Returning to the LOS soon, this time will hit Pattaya.

Take a walk along the beach side of the beach road, almost any time of day, and they will all be lined up hoping to attract a down and out falang and 50 Baht. Remember, these are the girls that even the Thai men won't fuck.
I've been walking around a lot recently and can quite understand why the message is reverberating around Thailand that Pattaya is the place to be for a certain type of girl. Wow, you guys sure are super sensitive about Pattaya. Look fellas. If I have offended anyone's love for Pattaya, I do truly apologize! Take a moment and ask anyone who has been going there for years, and I am sure they will share the same observation. Things have gotten a much slower, there aren't as many girls, nor are there as many stunners, and it keeps getting more expensive. Those are the facts. You are right, LBM, I have nothing to complain about. I've always done very well in Pattaya, and hopefully always will. Still, it never hurts to get suggestions for new spots IN Pattaya, that are less known. As I have learned over the years, there are a lot of places you can go to in Pattaya and on the out skirts of Pattaya, that you will never know about, unless you ask!

By the city being "slower" what do you mean? If a bar is having a slow night it means not much business. This means fewer customers. With the world economy being down in recent years that should not surprise. Add to that the special problems of Thailand since 2006 in coups, airport closures & scams, red yellow shirt deadly protests, etc and one should expect tourism and business to be down. And so it has been.

Furthermore stunners tend to be higher earners & get out of the business quicker due to retirement or making millions of baht. Their children would be more likely to be stunners, but less likely to become hookers since their rich mommys would take care that that does not happen. Consequently this is one of a number of factors that pushes all of LOS towards decline as time passes, at least as far as stunners is concerned. OTOH with the world economy declining recently and in Siam especially, due to reasons I've mentioned above, this would tend towards a push for pumping other stunners back into the profession. As poster Daddy07 alleges, there are new arrivals regularly.
Regarding being constantly "more expensive" you make a great point re the Baht falling from 40 to the USD down to what is now below 30. That is a huge factor in value being lost in travelling to LOS. At least for the US citizen. But how does that compare for the rest of the world? And what about times before that. Did I not read somewhere of a time when the USD only got 10 baht?
Further re Pattaya becomimg "more expensive", is this not the case everywhere in the world over the last 5, 10, 20, 30 years. It's called inflation. So we see in the last few years that Gogo's in BKK are pushing ST prices up to 2000 Baht. I read here on ISG the same is happening in Pattaya. Why is this happening? Besides the possibility of inflation there is the theory that Thais tend to increase prices when business is slow to compensate for the lack of sales. All that aside it could be the cost is going up for johns because the cost of doing business {rent, utilities, etc} is going up, or gogo businessmen believe they can get away with it, based on the gogo's reputation, hype re safety vs FLs, the offering of nude or semi nude shows, etc.

Make sure is a large new Toyota and offer him 1. 000 baht plus toll money. Tell him to use the highway and that you will pay for the toll. Otherwise he might go under it in order to save some money.

Cab will take less than 90 minutes. Metro and bus combo will take at least 3 hours.
Two Options:
1) Take a cab; between 1000. 1200 Baht.
2) Take the train and metro to Soi 63 Ekkamai Bus Station (approx 100 Baht?). Then take the bus to Pattaya (approx 120 Baht). It seems the Airport Express Bus to town has been terminated. Based on your original questions and comment and the time you were arriving at the airport there is only one option and that option is to take a taxi even if you have to spend 1500 baht from the taxi stand.
If you using the theory that time is money? Then you certainly wouldn't take the train and go to Ekkamai since you are going the wrong direction from Pattaya. And even if you did this once at Pattaya you got to transfer again to get to your hotel. So when you add the cost (whatever) to Ekkamai, bus to Pattaya, Songthaw? To your hotel you have lost a alot of time / time you could be taking a shower and cleaning up at your hotel and getting laid which I believe was your main objective. Add all the above and if you have luggage just get a cab sit back and relax and get to the action.

Having made my first trip to Pattaya last year, and my next coming up in a week, I'm going to check out the scene outside Walking Street. It's a fun venue, no question, but tends to get old after a while. The go-go's have the better looking girls, but I prefer the beer bars where the girls tend to be more attentive and playful. They are not official, or legal.
As you come out of Arrivals, go to the official Taxi rank, which is outside the Arrivals door.
They have a manned desk, tell them you want to go to Pattaya, and the name of your hotel.
They will give you a price, and put you in a Taxi.
Expect to be ripped off, but anything less than 1500 all in, is OK, for a 1st timer.
The taxi, will take you straight to your hotel.
Check in, unpack, SSS, and go out and find a 'companion.

Coffee on the motorway. They bring you to your hotel, all with no hassle. 1000 or 1100 bt. No need to search for an honest taxi, pay tolls, go the slow way, fight with the driver. These guys are good!

As you may have noticed there is a picture with this posting and a story to go with it. A guy who thought he was in control but wasn't. Many members write about their Beach Road and Shopping Mall exploits where they pick up a girl and fuck her for 50 Baht. Maybe they feel safe. Maybe nine times out of ten they might be safe. Walking on the beach late at night isn't a good idea. Someone recently reported about being robbed doing this. At first he said Walking Street but later changed his story to a place 2 miles away.

Yeah, I was that person. I think you just have to have your wits about you. LBMGood advice. I drink, but never on a monger trip. It not only can make me stupid, but I can't get as many woddies if I am buzzed and fighting hangovers.
The securing your valuables is a good one. I try and not to have any more money in my possesion / room than I need for the day. Also, with passports, wallets. I actually always keep them on my person, in my front pocket. Might seem kind of dumb, but never had an isssue. I could be wrong on this, but I think my chances of being robbed on the street are less than it being ripped off from my room.

Wallet, you don't need 99% percent of the stuff in your wallet that your normally carry in your own country lock that up too. Get yourself at a local stand a cheap bill fold that normally carry credit cards / fold up the copy of passport, carry only one credit card just for emergency ATM withdraws, and tuck away a thousand baht inside out of view, Keep that small thin holder in your front pocket along with maybe 3-5 thousand bahts in your pocket and maybe a business card of your hotel depending on how your hotel is setup.
If you stay longer you can make a credit card size lamenated copy of your passport even in color at a local Kodak copy center for around 110 baht in color, if you are near Soi Baukhao and Soi lengkee there is a Kodak just pass the 7/11.

After visiting the Sabai soapy's in Pats a few month ago, I find the rooms a bit old and the girls giving just a standard treatment, I am actually no longer a big fan of it and tried recently a new one in Hua Hin (see HH report) , even this one was no big deal. My in Pattaya living friend goes at least twice a week to a soapy and recommended Rasputin now as the best in town above the rest, so I would give it another try.

They had some killer live alternative-rock bands and my first Singha was awesome while in that mix. I walked aimlessly through the streets of Bangkok, from chinatown to the palace to eventually sukhumvit. What an enormous city. I lived on the internet until I found a hotel close to cowboy and poised myself for my first mongering night.
It was wild. All alone in the Thai city of angels and it was fast moving. Almost too fast. Going out clubbing after the go-go and getting hammered and dancing all night. Then shaggin with what little energy I had left. I decided I needed to slow down and I took a taxi to Pattaya not knowing WTF I was in for. I remember my first hotel. Flipper Lodge, towards the end of Soi 8. And I wanted to relax? LOL. All the bars. All the massage places. Street food. I prefer to discuss with police aware my original passport is in the hotel, than having to discuss with no passport at all as lost. I do even carry the color jpg copy in my phone and I-pod memories. There is a limited hassle you can get with photocopy, there is endless hassle with no passport at all.

Its much easier to lose your passport if you carry it with you at all times in a bag. I got distracted for a minute by a personal problem. Soon my bag was missing.
Only take your passport when you really need it. Its much safer in the Hotel.

Coconut Bar' raid by Pattaya Police.
Pattaya Police are currently undertaking a 'Social Order Crackdown' following orders from Senior Officers to clean up the streets of Pattaya, concentrating on all forms of anti-social behavior. It was the turn of women and men, suspected of working as prostitutes on Pattaya Beach to be targeted as part of the crackdown and in the early hours of Saturday 26 people were detained pending further investigations. They were charged with loitering and received small fines before being released back on to the streets, presumably to continue whatever they were doing in the first place

Coconut Bar' raid by Pattaya Police.
Pattaya Police are currently undertaking a 'Social Order Crackdown' following orders from Senior Officers to clean up the streets of Pattaya, concentrating on all forms of anti-social behavior. It was the turn of women and men, suspected of working as prostitutes on Pattaya Beach to be targeted as part of the crackdown and in the early hours of Saturday 26 people were detained pending further investigations. These are closed bars, with the girls standing outside to drag you in (if you let them). Once inside in the small bar area, there is enough opportunity to sample her wares while she enjoys her ladydrink and she checks your equipment out. If you are happy with what you see, you go to the room (upstairs or in the back). These are most of the time ST girls. First of all, you might be paying up front for your stay.
You might lose money if you cut your stay short.
Cancellation and changes can cost you, and have earlier cut-off times for doing so (than booking direct with the hotel.)
Refunds can take a week.
Sometimes they might quote a rate (non-inclusive of taxes and booking fees) that turns out to be equal to (or higher) than the hotel's all-inclusive rates. If it is equal to booking directly with the hotel, but you have to prepay everything and have earlier cancellation times (and fees) it's not a deal.
Agoda is a great search engine for finding hotels. But once you find one you're interested in, check out other deals elsewhere too. And pay close attention to the terms for taxes, cancellation fees, refunds, etc.

Nice little place, not a lot of girls but always at least 5 young ones on stage, really starts to get going around 6pm but you can definitely show up earlier and find the same ladies. Good atmosphere, on my first visit there were a couple of older customers with big black shades dancing with the waitresses, on the second one another guy was getting a foot job on the couches…
Chose a spinner who loved to dance, selected through the mamasan, and went to consume in the nearby Kilkenny hotel, which is owned by the same Australian boss of the gogo, and therefore doubles up as a short-time-room accomodation.
All in all a pretty good afternoon option as long as you don’t mind the final expenditure: 600 barfine + 1500 for service + the necessary couple drinks + the possible tip + the possible short time hotel = 2500/3000 baht, keeping in mind that in the afternoon you can’t do long-time take outs.
For less than that you can do a DD girl next door of comparable looks but infinitely better sex skills.
Interesting bit: the staff gets fined 5 baht for every minute of lateness.

Not really in soi LK Metro, but that's the area: around 5pm there were only chubby and/or older women.

A little less entertaining then how I remembered it from last year visit: on two different days, weekday and weekend, both in the afternoon and around midnight, there were very few customers. Some of the girls and ladyboys do their best to liven up the street with the soi 6 trademark calling/running/holding, but there’s only so much they can do.
I had a drink here and there, but the only 2 bars which not only had girls in a uniform but also made an effort to present them well, were LISA (close to Beach Rd) and SAIGON (close to Second Rd).
Personally I wish that more of the girls would make an effort to stand up and let you asses them properly, but then again with few exceptions, and cost aside, I think you should never choose soi 6 ladies based on their appearance, but based on them being a little crazy and/or willing to do anal. You can check my choice in the pic below.
I remember reading somewhere that soi 6 can be a bit rough/dangerous at night: while I can’t conclusively dispute that, both times I showed up around midnight (bars close at 1am) I felt safe and couldn’t see anything dodgy going on. It must be said that I was sober.
A note: walking towards the beach in the late afternoon you’ll be blinded by the sun and won’t be able to leisurely check out the ladies.

Last year the Beach Rd left me very underwhelmed, but I now think it was possibly because of the market. This year I noticed a vast amount of girls, I would say probably about 100 by day and 200 in the evening, in the stretch between soi 8 and soi 13.
Not many will approach you, and quite a few have a kind of dead look, but if street walkers/freelancers is your thing then there are definitely some ladies worth a closer inspection.

At Fuji the sushi is too cheap for the fish to be good, and at the ramen place the soup is a poor attempt at replicating the Japanese original.

Last year I tried the Samui branch, and I can confirm that if you like meat and Brazilian Churrasco in particular, this should be a stop. At 1000 baht for all you can eat food and a couple of beers it isn’t cheap by Thai standards, but being a buffet it’s up to you to make it count! And if you exaggerate a bit you can always take a “pleasant”, digestive stroll along the Beach Rd all the way to Walking St.
KING SEAFOOD

An acceptable touristy choice if you keep within the Thai menu, but the seafood isn’t worth the price.

I could be confused, but I think it’s in soi Lucky Star off Walking St, past the pool tables: typical no frills place with plastic chairs where you can order both seafood and traditional Thai dishes a lot cheaper then what it would cost you in a place like the above mentioned King Seafood. After an hour in the gym and a swim, left hotel around 9 pm Direct to walking street. Saw two extremely sexy girls entering Alcatraz go-go. Sure there are, at least throughout the peak hours from mid-afternoon to early evening. The problem is that most of them are either fat, ugly, overaged, or male.
Don't get me wrong, I still love Soi 6, but it can take a lot of looking these days to find a good one there. And the best ones you seldom even see out front because they're usually either inside or upstairs with customers.Youtube videos of soi 6 confirm what you say. IMO SWs around NEP in BKK undoubtedly offer far better looks for the same price or less. That is factoring in 700 ST plus 300 room fee, or even more I assume for a BF if taken to one's hotel.

Spent the full day shopping on beach road. Yes, compared to 4 years ago, there are definitely more Indians and Arabs around, more on the street, more Indian & Arab restaurants and shops (I saw an entire street behind walking street full of bars, restaurants and shops owned by Arabs, they were all even playing Arabic music). The Chinese and Indian economies have done very well over the past 6-8 years, hence more can afford to travel and invest abroad. The cheapest places to go for holiday from India are Dubai, Malaysia and Thailand, Thailand being the only country among these to give visas on arrival to Indian nationals. Even flying between two far away cities in India costs about the same or more. Besides people have realized that a week's holiday in Thailand would cost them considerably less than one within India due to the extremely high hotel prices in India. Hence the greater number of Indians. Arab world and to a large extent India are sex-starved countries and cheapest and closest place to release is Thailand. So I know where all this is coming from. I just hope some of these guys improve their behavior, it's limiting my opportunities.
On another note, the 18 yr old hot number from my first night (from Champion go-go) called and said she would come to my room at 10, had a great time with her on day 1, so didn't turn it down. Thre are clubs in some places (not referring to Thailand) that accepts weird characteres and beahviour as the guys spend a lot of money in there. Not a correct business module too as one risks to have decent guys spending decent money going away from certain wild crowds.
