Now, walking into a venue on your first day, it may be hard / impossible to get such a discount, but the following may help craft the right image: 1) Sound like an expat. Know Thai phrases, claim you live in some Thai city for a long time. 2) Approach near close of business, or when there haven't been many customers visible [for short-time, etc]. Basically you want to keep her opportunity costs low. 3) State your desired price with confidence, don't haggle; 4) If your not willing to walk away, your not free to negotiate.

Obviously the best time for this is. Low season, during a torrential rain, after the roads have been flooded for a week, right near the end / beginning of the month.

DSC (Department of STI Control) clinic Singapore offers anonymous HIV testing and you need to pay 30 $ and result will be given in 15-20 mins.

I know everyone here wants enjoy and nobody wants to get any STIs, I had been using Durex ExtraSafe for quite sometime but the broken condom was Durex Love. Can somebody share which condom is best, it is good for all of us here.

BTW, I was totally panic and skipped couple of my planned trips and did HIV test 3 times (9th day. 20th Day & 35th Day) and found I am non- reactive. Thanks God. But to others my advise is, if you have fear about HIV, you will down like anything. So TRYto be confident and always be positive.

I was in the Soi LK metro area last night for dinner and decided afterwards to visit Champagne a-go-go for a drink or two. As I drove my bike along the soi I didn't see the customary sign and then noticed that it was because the whole place was gutted as though it had been hit with a bomb. Don't know if it's just for renovations or perhaps it's closed for good. It's too bad because that was one of the better bars in the Soi Buakhao district.

I ended up at Oasis and was disappointed at the poor lineup of average to below average looking girls. Buakhao just doesn't measure up to the quality you can find on Walking Street so that's were I went and wasn't disappointed. The line up at Happy has vastly improved over last year and the girls at Baccara are always the best looking on average.

My trip (week long) to Pattaya.

Day 1.

Agree that Baccara has the best girls, but it's a zoo. Sensations also is teeming with girls. Re. LK Metro, not as attractive, but few places open early (around 2-3pm). Interestingly, one of the girls told me there's a 2-8pm shift, wonder what they do after if they don't get BF?

Would I return? Probably, do like the resort-esque nature (as opposed to Angeles) , English proficiency can be patchy. And I know it's been asked / discussed before, but why so many Russians? I didn't see this many in Phuket.

buying / owning / running a bb: any pattaya business is a high risk undertaking but my buddy wants me to research getting a bb. off the top of my head some selection criteria:

- location: purchase an existing biz on soi 6 (alternate: on ws)

- requires minimal refurbishment / new furnishings: st rooms should have air-con, ensuite shower (not down the hallway) , decent beds.

I took a long stroll down the Beach Road promenade last night from Soi 8 to Walking Street, and to my amazement I found it wider and much better than it was before the construction. There are no benches yet but plenty of room for them to return once all is finished. Only about 100 meters remain under construction where BR meets Walking Street.

The addition of a new lane for traffic has reduced the baht bus bottlenecks and the widening encroaches quite a lot more on the beach chair vendors turf instead of narrowing the promenade.

I also saw lots of freelancers lining the walkway, some of whom were young and cute, so it hasn't ruined the hooker trade.

All things considered, it seems to me that the project was worth the trouble.

Was in the mood to try something different after being a bit bored after countless trips to Thailand and Pattaya. I had a discussion with a friend and he told me about some bars out in the nether regions (for me anyway) where sex was more or less out in the open. I was intrigued, so I gave it a shot.

I did some research here and on other sites, and I was off for my adventure. Many thanks to Ehunter who's most excellent trip reports here were super informative and convinced me to try these places out. The three bars I was considering were Le Carre Blanc, Le Telephone Box and Club 4.

First stop was Le Carre Blanc as it had some good reviews and seemed the easiest to find, just off Soi Bukhao, which I am familiar with. It's not that easy to find, as it's technically on Soi 33 off Third Road, but it's actually a fairly short walk from the center of Soi Bukhao. If you just do a bit on online research like I did, you can find it easy enough.

It was about 10PM when I walked into this very small bar, and there were 4 customers seated at the bar and one at the table behind with maybe 15 girls. 8 or 9 of the girls were occupied, sitting with the guys who 2 of which I think had their pants open and equipment out as far as I could tell. MtgIt's correct the construction of beach road not yet finished. Even the space gets narrow, but nothing can stop the action out there. No benches or sitting facilities, no worry, sand bags are there to serve the vibrant beach road.

I recently returned from a 2 1/2 month stay in Thailand. One month was living with a Thai lady in her home in Bangkok, but that's another story. I was inspired to write after reading Marcos' report. I am not going to write every detail, but will add a few experiences.

Follow that little alley until you come to an opening where you will see what once may have been a water fountain. Keep left and you will see a number of shops on the left. Go to the last one and that is the lab. From there you can continue down to Beach Road.

The only thing they ask for is your name and age and they don't ask for any kind of verification. You can also call for results or email (I wouldn't).
