As for the V, most of the guys I know prefer the Kamagra (sp?) jelly. I usually have to bring back several boxes of 50 for my buddies. I get them from a friend who works at Nevada (Soi 13/2 about 50 ft East of beach Rd) only because she pays about half of what I do. In Latin America my cost would be the Gringo Price. She gets them for me for about 1200 Bhat per box of 50 - so less than $1 a pop. They are equivalent to 100 MG & very fast acting. Anyway, food for thought.
The other comment I wanted to make was about the Ago-go Nevada. It's taken some bad press here in the past but it's my favorite hang-out. Very convenient, just East of Beach Rd, 2 minutes to the Marriott, the Mall & Starbucks. They open at 1 PM, often have totally nude dancers. Normal range of 4-8's depending on your taste. The mamsan is a doll. She is very pretty (not available by the rules) and will help with just about anything & has a great personality. Prices for upstairs ST & for LT are on par with others or a bit lower. Drink prices and LDs are very reasonable. The gals are friendly and touchable. The music is old time rock & roll & not real loud. Seems like it's most often visited by old ex-pats but I'm getting close to that too so it's not an issue with me. Bottom line. I been around the world many times. And once in a heavy sea. And it remains my favorite.
I usually visit Pattaya 3-4 times a year & visit Nevada almost every day. I'll be back for 2-1/2 weeks starting late April 10th. Anybody want to meet up, PM me.

Went to Pattaya today to check out the Beach Road after a long absence. The crap trinket market is covering the entire length of Beach Road, has predictably chased away most of the working girls, and even made walking difficult / unpleasant. By some posters (in Thai! I surmise it will last from Feb 26-March 1.
Is there a schedule online of these markets / events so I can avoid one next time? It's quite bummer as it entirely changes the dynamic of the city. I guess Pattaya Music Festival (March 20-22) is one to avoid, but it would be nice to have a comprehensive list.
BTW, I ended up taking a walk around 2nd road, and pussy is certainly no longer the central driver of Pattaya's economy. Disgusting to see all the manufactured tourist-trap attractions. Only short 10 years ago that area was almost entirely focused around mongers, and in 10 years, if things continue at this rate, we'll be hiding in the shadows.

Bought sidegra 100 4 tablets, Thai viagra, from pharmacy on WS 350 baht and Soi 6 300 baht. Official looking but didn't work at all. It was weird, 70%of the pharmacies didn't carry it and looked at me funny like I was breaking the law or something. I would never buy something like this from street vendors because I know it is fake but from pharmacies? Can anyone shed some light on this?

As an aside, do you mind telling how exactly did Sidegra fail for you? Did you get enough physical stimulation (say, a blowjob or handjob), but still could not get hard?

I am planning another good time trip to Pattaya. But if Pattaya is getting so bad is it the time of the year? Or is it just morfing into a so so mongering environment? I am a relative newbie to the Pattaya scene the last few years and always had a good time.
But talking to some old-timers that tell me stories of the way it used to be 10-20 years ago, the stories are incredible and almost hard to believe. Anyway, I look forward to my one fun trip a year and my question is.
If Pattaya is not the mongering jewel of the world for price, quality and quantity, then could someone tell me where I should go and spend my hard earned money for a good time based on price, quality and quantity.
I think it should be clear to everybody that this is the case already now. For sure I won't be here in 10 years and not even in 2. I've chosen to come here again just to stay away from the cold and bullshit of my home country for a while. It would have been certainly better if I had gone somewhere else, swam and worked out instead of wasting my nights looking for something that doesn't exist anymore. On the other hand I have no regrets.

If $200 or more a day I see no issue, you can stay in the best hotels, be driven anywhere, pick the best girls and bear any barfine (pretty girls are only at go-go's now). The same $200 wouldn't be much for a regular holiday anywhere else.
It's when one looks for value that things (women) gets ugly.
Was in Pattaya for 3 nights. Arrived around 7 PM on Friday and hit BR rightaway. Surpringly there were lots of girls, not as many as previous year but a lot more than I saw 3 mobths ago. Found at least two that were pretty food tomy eyes, 700 and 500 bahts for an hour at my hotel.
Pretty good deals but among 350 or so girls thst I saw, almost all were well below my acceptable level.
WS had about a dozen but wearing heavy makeup. Very few Russian Tourists, quite a few farangs and Chinese busloads. Not that many Indians but Arabs wete everywhere.
During next two nights the nbers went down. Surprisingly on sat night it was a poor scrne till 10 pm. May be about 200 girls. But horrible quality. Saw 2/3 onlh thst I would go worh very reluctantly. Asked at least 4 girls about a MFF threesome and they all shied away.
Thos is not the Pattaya I experienced in previous years. Looks like we have max 3 more years left before this place will becone a place in monger history.

Just back from a stint in Pattaya and dropped by an ole watering hole on Soi Six for a few cold ones. Met a lovely WG from Chang Mai and was told the rooms upstairs are now off limits due to Five-O.
Shame as the rooms at the "Dot" were very clean and with some decor rather than walking across the street to a hotel dive you rent the room by the hour for ST.

With the crackdowns on the darkside, and beachroad turning mainstream, and even the places beyond second road getting more and more upscale / polished, there seems that the days where p4 p tourists where kings, Is in the past.
Don't cry no tears for Pattaya thou, as the city will do well with other types of tourists. Probably alot better than with stingy mongers. And also to remember, Asia is big. Really Big. And flights is cheap and easy also.
When one place goes away, 2 other smaller emerges. Cambodia would probably be a better choice for most nowdays.
So remember all the good times with a happy heart and move on to other hunting grounds.

Ideas to start your day with:
For earlier bird, the little beer bar on the front of the Blues factory (Walking street) is flush with choice free lance, however the pickings are pretty much finished by 9:30 10-ish so get there early.
# breakfast at the Golf Club on Metro, I know $$ but it is pretty good quality!
# Second stop the message shops across from Triangle to help digest Breakfast -3 hole service-.
# slowly make your way over to Soi-6 Jomtien to Yellow message for a pre-lunch rub and shag.
# grab a bite at the American Burgers Kiosk just down the beach.
# slowly make your way to the top of Soi 6 Pattaya and hit Bee Bar, They'll Blow ya by the pool table and even bang ya in the WC, or if ya really want the touch-E feel-E you can head up stairs for 500 baht either or are up to the task.
# Welkom in Soi 2 always a good watering hole and give you time to negotiate the price to an amicable rate.
# Back to the triangle area for drinks a couple places to choose from with specials every day.
# Later around 10-ish at night hit buffalo or the freelance at the front of walking street beach side.
# They do have some other Expat clubs up on the hill between Jomtien and Pattaya (over in Scanda-hoolagin land) but forgot the names. One has an over priced buffet that you don't eat and is subsequently taken off your bill don't be surprised by it. BUT they have great wealth of quality poon at an Expat price. You'll just have to chat with a couple expats to finds the location.
This is what happens as you get older, your memory is stuck on faded events and happy endings, you get more ridged and fussy. They are correct in some respects but very unrealistic in others, these guys are also a great source of information but what they say needs to be taken with a grain of salt. What is more important is you learn from the old boys about how to spend your vacation $$$ . That lesson is called "Don't be a two week millionaire".
The game is the same, nothing has changed. Just enjoy, I'm coming in to town in a couple weeks can't wait!

Take that away and Pattaya will have made another step backward.I tend to agree with Cuslan as this clean up of riff raff are WG who are not controlled for medical check ups and often are the cause from stories heard over and over of someone being taken advantage of. Not all the girls on beach road fall into this category but many do.
I personally like the option to be able to return to a mamasan if some issue does arise. It's like having the ability of customer feedback.

My preference is Thailand over Cambodia but then again experience them both and make up your own mind.

However, I do have records and photos to remind myself.

Unfortunately, bad news is that Pattaya, even in today's diminished state, is still probably the top place for mongering for price, quantity, ease of use (it matters!) and to some degree, friendly service (though by no means for quality of looks).
In Asia at least, no other places have gotten better, nor have the major new ones appeared. I had high hopes for Burma coming out, but doubt it now. Most of the previously good spots have turned markedly worse recently (Angeles City, parts of Kuala Lumpur, Udon Thani, Hat Yai, Dongguan you name it).
For me, Singapore (Geylang) is looking increasingly attractive. Not that it got any better, but it has huge variety, relatively low prices, good ease-of-use, but generally poor and hasty service. If non-GFE quickies do it for you, it's now competitive.
Maybe there are up-and-coming spots outside of Asia. I doubt it, but I'll defer to other mongers on that.

But, objectively, one has to wonder how much nonsense the Thais are willing to put up with. Pattaya has always had such in-you-face sleaze. It's an embarrassment to the Thais, in general. At some point, especially with a strong economy, I think folks are going to just say enough is enough.
This is SEA, and there will always be available women. But I do think the scene will go more behind closed doors, as it were. Perhaps much like things were before the US military came to town. :)

You can't move cheap Charlies into bars, because bars are a rip-off. The whole point of cheap Charlies is they want to fuck someone else, not get fucked.
I can remember getting great 3 hole service 'just as I liked it' for 300-500 baht back in the day (which was $8-12 in real money back then). In the 10-12 years since then prices have soared and service has plummeted. Now one gets virtually nothing in the way of service, and the price is, in dollar terms, something like $30-50. The point is we might as well not go to Pattaya anymore, its really not any better than DIY.

I think the WGs on Beach Road are the least obvious form of P4 P in Pattaya. The thousands of beer bars, massage parlours and gogo bars (and the gentlemans clubs and discos in a lesser degree) with their scantily dressed girls and loud music are much more obvious P4 P and hardly behind closed doors. Compared to them the girls on Beach Road are keeping a much lower profile.

Of course there are cheap Charlie's among the punters who go there but in general I think punters go there because they don't like to waste their money in the beer bars and agogo's with their (too) high price tags.
A lot has been said already on this forum about the Beach Road girls. And I am the first to admit the quality has gone down over the years. And yes, there are junkies, alcoholics and HIV positives among them. But I think the majority of the Beach Road girls are just very normal girls: house wives, single moms, the occasional student and girls with a 'normal' job looking for some extra income. They are not on drugs, they don't drink much alcohol, they don't smoke and they are not night owls. It's about time they get the credit they deserve!
Sitting here in miserable old London and I can only lust for the Beach Road dollies, it is truly bizarre how for years many bemoan the quality of Beach Road. The essence of Beach Road is it's simplicity, it still beats all for a quick cheap shag versus the dross and fuss of beer bars. Really this issue for me is not debatable. Opinions will differ, however most will have pulled from the Beach Road, cheap charlie or not. Do I want Dolly hanging on my wallet once business has completed? Hell no!

I have delayed some time in writing this, maybe because it gave on my balls a little.
The place is the most liked by the youngish, but it's absolutely unbearable to me and it's not a matter of age.
First of all, Thai girls (or women) tend to go there only when they have found company already, so depending on the time is not like there is an huge variety of free women. But there is a certain common cretinous attitude that I can't stand.
Second, not only shisha smoke but also their servers are asphyxiating, they are anywhere, all the time. Watch out as you walk or move around as leg burns and ruined trousers are a definite chance. After two hours there I had a robust cough the following day, call that a coincidence. Waiters also can't keep their place, one had the face to question as I was sipping to a lady-labelled bottle.
My experience was also made worse by wasting time after a drunk selfie taker that was unable to say WTF she wanted, but that was my fault only.
Some comments about myself, 55 yo caucasian, bald but not fat, well manored, first trip to Pty 2003, last was in 2012.
After arrival at SUV took bell travel at 1st floor to PTY, not having booked ahead had to wait 2 hours, OK no problem. Got a seat behind the driver, first surprise when talking to my neighbour the lady in charge for bell told us that our banter would distract the driver. Ok short break and then talking in low voice and less frequent. This compromise still did not please her she was definitly busy with studying some cosmetics catalogues and it was her who felt disturbed because the driver had no problem with having phone calls; so she approached us again in a even more rude way, telling us to stop talking. The rest of the journey was eventless for having a nap, thank you Bell travel, I expect this to be a single event.
The ladies:
What I liked in Pty are the beer bars, especially soi 7 and 8. While it was shooting fish in a barrel as stated here frequently business was slow, even slower as on my last trip. Worse, quality of the looks of the ladies dropped significantly beer bars with coyotes left aside. I would not fuss about not being called handsome man as in earlier years, but I appreciate some attention especially if it is a young cutie when passing by. This is very rare nowadays (no matter which hour) with the ladies being busy with make up, smartphone, eating or simply talking to eachother.
Had a drink at some places none of the ladies spoke more than a few words english this might be due to my preference for younger fresh girls instead of older, hardened heavily inked ones. At 11 pm decided to change the scene and have a look at soi 6.
Walked down from second road, left side has lots of LB, who I am not interested in, some bars were closed, don't know if because of the raid, finally settled on a place in the center of the soi, sat down with a lady with passable looks. Nit noi english spoken, no problem ST only, need a good sleep to get over the jetlag. BF? No problem although as you may guess I was not well known at this place, walked up two stairs inside the house (I mention this because of the raid discussion, BTW it was Feb. 18) no shower? Being low season you should be able to settle a reasonable price as well like 3000 LT for a gogo.

I have delayed some time in writing this, maybe because it gave on my balls a little.
The place is the most liked by the youngish, but it's absolutely unbearable to me and it's not a matter of age.
First of all, Thai girls (or women) tend to go there only when they have found company already, so depending on the time is not like there is an huge variety of free women. But there is a certain common cretinous attitude that I can't stand.Concerning ibar I would beg to differ. I can't comment on your experience because that is personal to you. But the fact is that not many people who are already coupled up enter any of the discos on Walking Street. Most go in single or in a group of their friends in order to either party or look for someone for the night. I would go as far as to say that ibar has the youngest crowd overall though. That being the case I would also assert that the younger women who go there are not looking for men their father's or grandfather's age, but someone who is closer to them in age. I have not really seen any 20 year old women with 60 year old guys there as you would find in a beer bar or agogo. Not many 60 year old guys could stand the music and party atmosphere there anyway. As far as the shisha, that is rampant in all of the clubs these days so it is not exclusive to ibar.

Addendum to Day 1. To the right of Oasis Night Club near LK Metro, I was approached by the same time share girl from 2 years ago. She asked me to go to a different presentation for an hour so she could get 1 K baht. I wanted to help her so I went. She took me on her motorbike to A+ properties. The short of the presentation was $7 K USD for 120 days at their 5* resort. The amazing part was while I was waiting for the car ride back, I asked the receptionist out to lunch the next day & she surprisingly said yes.
Day 2 Met up with the receptionist at Central Festival for lunch at Fuji but I took her to the Hilton buffet. For those first timers to Pattaya, look for many balloons outside a bar especially on Soi 6 but also on Walking street. It will be somebody's birthday or the establishment's anniversary and there will be a good amount of free food. The girls will all be in a good mood and dressed up too. It's enough for a lite dinner just be kind and tip if they are serving you. I love it when they are roasting a pig right in front of the bar. Yes, 3 hole service can be found on Beach Road but it can be difficult. I estimate only 1 in 20 will agree to it and charge a premium. They typically ask 1 K baht ST and sometimes I offer 700 or 800 plus tip for good service and sometimes I just say ok. These two girls were great service providers. All in for 1 K ST. Mai pen rai.

They serve Australian Steaks: Black Angus and Wagyu cuts. The Rib-eyes come in 8.8oz (260g,) 14oz (400g). 21oz, (600g) T-bone and Porterhouse is available too. I had a very flavorful, perfectly grilled 8.8 oz rib-eye last night. The crab avocado salad was awesome too. Walking in, I was not expecting a dining experience. The lemon Italian ice between the salad and the steak, to cleanse the palate was a nice touch. Someone has put some effort into this place.
It's a small restaurant, with soft jazz music playing in the background. The house red wine was good too. The wait staff is very attentive. Prices are reasonable too. My tab came out to $34 USD. :) There are some more items on the menu I want to try. I'll return. Highly recommend this place.

Best selection between the hours of 7:30 PM and 9:30 PM with a lot of the better girls gone by 9:30 PM.
Higher density of girls from Walking Street to the Hilton Hotel.
Pricing for ST ranged from 500 to 800 Baht with the prettier girls only offering ST.
Pricing for LT ranged from 1,300 to 2,000 Baht.
Besides the above a lot of the girls were either very shy or did not want to make eye contact or engage some of the men who smiled at them when walking by.
I also noticed what I call a "failed negotiation". One out of shape guy who appeared drunk couldn't get a hot looking one to go with him. I suspect the girl wanted nothing to do with him so quoted him a ridiculous price.
There also appeared to be some lady boys mixed in as well.
Not speaking Thai was problematic for the three of us in dealing with some of the girls who did not speak English. I had too reject two girls because of this.

I had dinner at the Steak company tonight. The Black Angus steak was quite good as was the overall ambience. I ordered a lobster bisque for a starter but did not like the taste as I found it too salty. The owner, Yuri, who is from the Ukraine , noticed I gave it back to the waitress and came over to say he would not charge me.
Since this thread is about mongering, let me add that the Devils Den is about a five minute walk from here situated on LK Metro street. I plan to go soon and will provide a report. Not much recent info on the board about this well known institution.

I am glad to hear that despite coups, police clean-ups and all the other stuff, the Beach Road institution goes on. I have consistently struck gold there whenever there wasn't a crackdown. It is fairly easy to avoid the LBs, the druggies and other undesirables. The Beach Road girls of a certain type tend to be fairly honest and not playing games like so many of the bar and go-go girls do. They are usually factory girls who want to make a little extra on the side and have some sex too. Most of them are completely unspoiled and although you may not get PSE, you will often get one of the better experiences. But if a mongerer is belligerent, aggressive, impolite, drunk or has personal hygiene issues, these ladies generally won't play - full-stop. I don't speak much Thai apart from the usual few word and phrases but I never found the lack of a common language to be an obstacle.
The peak time for these ladies is from early evening until 9 pm. I guess it is because these ladies are not used to late nights and probably have to be up for factory work early in the morning. The latter would would explain their preference for ST.

I've posted about dress and personal hygiene a number of times on the Bangkok threads. I primarily do my mongering on extended business trips. I rarely wear a suit and tie but generally dress more professionally. I can say with certainty the way one dresses effects how everyone treats you, and that goes for the people working in the hotels, shops and sex workers. However that is in Bangkok. Pattaya is a casual beach town. Casual attire such as shorts and sport shirts are appropriate there. Dirty, tattered clothing is another matter, as is poor hygiene. It's simple common sense.

In the day time I'm wearing shorts, t-shirt and sandals (without socks). First of all because of the weather and second because I usually don't pick up hookers in the day time. The monger's appearance is not the only criteria, but it does count for many girls, especially when dealing with attractive freelancers.

Here's my FR from pattaya. I unfortunately didn't have much time left to spend in Thailand, so I only could spend one day and night in Pattaya. I had to see the sleaze capital of the world and to partake as well. I stayed at the diamond beach hotel right on walking street. The hotel is okay, but it's definitely girl friendly. I booked through agoda, but it turns out it was cheaper if you pay for the room when you arrive, by a large margin. They wanted 850 THB total before I told them I already booked, but I paid $36 after booking and taxes. The breakfast wasn't great either. Looked like everything was cheap and from a mutant factory. But it's within walking distance from all of the action.
I walked all up and down walking street several times, some parts of beach street, and lots of the side streets. It's quite overwhelming, even after I've been to all the red light districts in Bangkok, Bangla road in Phuket, geyland in Singapore, hotel del rey in san jose, and other various places. There's so much going on, but it was a Wednesday night, so the talent wasn't anything great. Lots of good options though, and having read through the forums prior to venturing out, I got a good base for what the prices would be, and the good places to go were. There were a ton of lady boys as well, and sometimes it was hard to tell who was a boy and who was not. But it seems like there are specific places that they mostly work out of. One of the main ones being the country rock bar or country bar or something like that. What I have witnessed lends me to think that it is a willingness to spend money rather than ill manners or something like that. A place like Red Car disco on Walking Street will bar Indians and Russians. When I have seen the odd Russian couple let in a doorman kept coming around warning them they have a 3 drink minimuin. That way, you would have known the spots (at least some of them) which discriminate against Indians (I have reported on several places which are not happy to let us in despite the willingness to spend several baht) and you would have either learnt to manage your expectations better or alternatively to have avoided them entirely.
I have developed a thick skin for this over time, and also I do not pick from the Go-Gos in Pattaya anymore. I only go in to watch what's available and then after I have felt some boob and ass, I move on.
Decent to very good FL options are available all over the place, but to be specific, I-Bar / Insomnia should be a good place to start. You have already tried Mixx which I like. 808 used to be Indian friendly when they opened up, but not so anymore, so avoid. Marine is Indian friendly (they even have our flag out front, LOL).
On WS, in terms of the Go-Gos, you can check out Windmills / Private Dancer / Sugarbabys / Angelwitch are a few places where you should have better luck. But re the girls YMMV.

Was in a very short 21/2 day visit to Pattaya. My first visit out to this part of the world. Got a lot of useful information from the forum -so time to give back. Overall, I thought my mileage / interactions were slightly different (may be because of my ethnicity. I look Indian but behave and speak like an American).
Day 1: Reached Pattaya AM and got into Aya (read my review on the hotels section) - not much going on that early -so decided to go to a "regular" spa to get a genuine "Thai massage". Highly recommend Oasis Spa. Was great experience (no happy ending here whatsoever -don't even think about it). Found a decent Indian restaurant (Maharaja?) to eat which pretty much became my go to place for the 2 days that I was out there. Decided to walk to LK Metro area and get the Devil's Den bucket list activity done!. Went in about 5 pm. Place was already pretty busy and the line up was somewhat think. Picked Tammy (A+) and Ann from the lineup and off we went next door for the 90 minute incall (4000 baht). DD is definitely an experience. However, I was not super happy with Tammy's attitude (her looks were like a 4 and she had quite a scar on her shoulder). Ann was quite good -but her English next to zilch. I can only attribute that to my ethnicity and nothing else. I moved on, decided to step into one of the two EE bars (not Dollhouse) and that was a bad / expensive idea. Drinks for two (and you had to buy the girl that was sitting with you a drink) was around 30 USD. Sat with a girl called Veronica, a cute girl and she allowed a little bit of touching and fondling while we were chatting. Turns out that in EE bars, you can't really barfine girls out. Decent to very good FL options are available all over the place, but to be specific, I-Bar / Insomnia should be a good place to start. You have already tried Mixx which I like. 808 used to be Indian friendly when they opened up, but not so anymore, so avoid. Marine is Indian friendly (they even have our flag out front, LOL).How about RC (RedCar)? Is it Indian friendly, I recently read on the forum that even RC doesn't sometimes allow. Have arrived upon that visit can be avoided. Guess will stick to tourist traps unless I have a wingman who is also interested in venturing on the darkside.
As for I-bar, basically all the girls are there as FLs and there is no barfine. Going rate there is between 2 and 4 K LT. SOme gems to be had, but hit and miss, and it takes a bit more time and effort. It can pay off if you are in Patts for a longer stay as you can repeat with the girl.
I'll be in town all of August and that place will probably be my bread and butter.

Sorry you were discriminated against here. What I have witnessed lends me to think that it is a willingness to spend money rather than ill manners or something like that. A place like Red Car disco on Walking Street wiButbar Indians and Russians. When I have seen the odd Russian couple let in a doorman kept coming around warning them they have a 3 drink minimuin. All the girls had left by then (the DJ, a female, was particularly hot, I could hardly scout for hookers that night just kept looking at the DJ). In any case, the original suggestion re early closing and girls moving to I-Bar stands.
No recent FRs to be found. Any members visited recently? I would like to explore on my next trip or should I avoid it.I have a more positive view than the other responders. After a couple of weeks visit I don't claim to be an expert but I have covered a lot of miles around the area. My feeling is that if you need a change from the "in your face" style of mainstream Pattaya but you don't want to cut yourself off from the bar+girl scene completely, the Darkside might fit the bill. One problem is the sheer number of bars operating in a maze of streets. Plan for a map, sat-nav and luck to find your way around if you venture far from Sukhumvit.
The majority of bars seem to be open bamboo frames with scooters outside and Premier League inside. Probably a pool table and a lot of tattoos, but not great girl destinations. There are bars, though with girls I would personally describe as attractive, with good attitude and barfine available. Some have ST rooms. Among these are Booze Lounge, Angels, Dukes Lounge, White Oyster Bar, Kik Bar. Probably many others I haven't found yet. They are a bit spread out, some are not too easy to find, but I'd say they're well worth a look if you have transport and a good sense of direction!

Bar Girls: ST 1500 B, LT 2500 B. Bar fines vary from 300 to 700 B.
Agogo Girls: ST 2000 B or 2500 to 3000 B for a stunner. LT 4000 to 5000 B.
Bar fine depends on time, place and 'type' of girl. Coyotes are more expensive than 'normal' dancers. Bar fines for dancers vary from 600 to 800 B. The typical bar fine for a coyote is 1500 B before midnight and 1000 B after midnight.

I moved my bike up to talk to them. The girl said she was 22 years old. The mamasan said that she had only been there 3 days. I asked how much for her to come with me all night. The mamasan said 1500 baht. I told her that 1300 sounds much better. It was maybe midnight then. I told the mamasan that I had some things to do and would call her later if I decide to get the girl. She said that she would close at 2.
About 2:30 my other plans fell through so I decided to call the mamasan to see if the girl was still available. She said that she was and had been waiting on my call. So I drove back to the bar and forked over 1300 baht and took the girl home with me. I told the mamasan that I would be fucking her next for 1000 baht. I told her that I would bring the girl back in the morning. The mamasan gave the girl a key to get back into the bar (girl lives upstairs in the bar, mamasan lives in Jomtien) and off we went.
It was a great session. The girl had milky tits and all. She said I was her first customer and it showed (besides that, since I have gotten back from Malaysia a couple of days ago, I still have not seen 1 customer in the bar). I saw something recently? This weekend, there is some type of concert and the warning was all hell regarding traffic since they have dug up and closed off lanes on Sukhumvit / Pattaya Klang. The are asking people that come from outside to park at a dirt lot and take motorbike taxi inside to Beach Road?

It'so only about 75 or 80 miles to Pattaya, and I can't imagine that it will take more than 1 1/2 hours at that time. I don't believe that Songkran will have any impact on the length of your ride.

Flew on Asiana Airlines thru Incheon in Coach Class. Definitely recommended because of good meal service and open bar including Chivas Regal, a gin, a vodka, a cognac, and wine service even in coach class. At BKK Airport, I got a 7 day unlimited data sim card with 100 baht calling credit for only 299 baht. They installed the sim card and set it up in about 3 minutes. Beach Road will be closed to traffc, and will become a pedestrian area with stalls and stages for concerts. So the other main roads there will be a lot of traffic and queues.

I had dinner with a female friend at Fuji Restaurant at Central Festival. It a good chain Japanese restaurant and recommended. I drank a little to fast and left early. Ibar will hold the unfinished bottle for you and give you a claim ticket to get it next time.
I found a 3 holer for st for 1 k. Good service but I was a little too drunk to enjoy some of it. I asked if she had any ass fucking friends and she said yes. I asked her to call her & she came right over. Great service so I tipped an extra 200 on top of the 1 k baht.
Definitely a fantastic evening but I spent about 7 k.

This was the first time in my life I had ever been fitted for custom tailored clothing. I needed a new suit, shirt and tie for a family wedding back in the states later this year. I selected a dark blue conservative business style single breasted and vent cut suit made out of 80% light weight wool and 20% cashmere; a light blue long sleeved shirt with white pinstripes, button down collar, cuffs, and a white tie with matching pocket handkerchief.
The fitting process was meticulous. After the 3rd fitting I decided that I wanted the lapels to be wider. This was no problem at all for them and my wish was their command. They made the suit to my exact specifications and it fits perfectly.
They also were kind enough to make me a new tie from scratch when I told them I wanted it to be wider. If I gain or lose weight between now and the time I need to wear the suit they will do the necessary alterations for free. In fact any time in the future I might want the suit altered for any reason it will be done at no charge.
When the suit was finished Chris the owner and his assistant brought it personally to my condo for the final fitting. They treat their customer's right. I was completely satisfied and decided to order 2 pairs of custom fitted linen slacks and a pair of designer style jeans. Everything looks great and fits perfectly. They aren't cheap like so many of the other fly by night tailor shops in the city but the prices are reasonable; you get what you pay for; and they're willing to go out of their way to make things right.
I'm happy to second Mr. E's opinion.

Arrived in Pattaya yesterday. It took me 4 hours from my hotel in Bangkok to my hotel in Pattaya which is at least 90 minutes longer than usual. From Ekkamai to the Pattaya bus station took 2 hours and 40 minutes due to heavy traffic and road construction work. And then it took the baht bus 45 minutes to get me to my hotel. Crazy.
By the way: for some reason they have lowered the price for the bus from Ekkamai to Pattaya from 124 to 119 Baht. So that's good news for the cheap charlies among us.
I had a look at Beach Road around 7 PM and later on again at 10 PM. The stalls and the stages for the music festival are all set up on the road, where the traffic usually is, so this means the promenade is free for walking and..... WG's!
So that's the good news. The bad news is that the quantity and quality were both lower than usual.
Quite a lot of police around as well, but they didn't arrest any of the WG's. Not at the times I was there anyway.

So tired. Waking up after noon the last 2 days. But here goes.
Met Mr. E and a friend for lunch at Fuji at Central Plaza for medium grade Japanese food. Took Mr. E to TUK HAPPY MASSAGE which is my friend's shop just past Triangle Bar past LK Metro. New and very clean shop that had about 6 very early 20 something girls providing special service massage. Definitely worth checking out!

I go back and visit Chris to get some stuff done every time I am in Pattaya. Last time I had them do some alterations on 2 Burberry suits I have. Excellent job and now the fit is amazing. Raja, Chris' head tailor did a fantastic job and only charged me 2 K for coat and pants.
How much did Chris charge for the suit you had made? I may get one done there next time. I have gotten plenty of shirts and pants but no suit yet.
Last time I also had a Linen suit done at HiFi tailor, a place Mr E recommended. Ama did not have the color fabric I wanted. He did the suit and 2 linen shirts for 6 K. Best quality linen. Not the cheap stuff. And great workmanship! I have received many complements on the suit and shirts.

Okay, those uncultured bastards are gone, so here we go! After my less than stellar stay in Angeles and a less than perfect flight back I made it to the sanctuary of Pattaya. The real excitement on the first night was that my lost luggage showed up by courier. Obviously you won't want to hear about the lesser events.
The next day I started making up for the Angeles debacle. I took a moto taxi to Walking Street around bar opening time (20:00) and ran straight into organized gangs of hoodlums with leaders waving flags with patriotic fervor. Holy crap! There are even more tourists than last year! What is this about a bad high season?
Just once I want to see a barker / doorman seize one of those flags and go, waving wildly, into his bar, preferably Windmill, Sugar Baby, or another of those gynecology clinics. I'll wait outside for the shell-shocked survivors to stagger out and sell them hand sanitizer, or maybe hand sanitizer scented water, at a really ridiculous price. For a bit more I'll go in and look for their husbands. Additional charge for their pants.
I think a new level of dickishness (I declare that a word) was reached when some street performer must have drawn three groups at once. The circle was so big that it spanned the street and the sidewalks. It even pissed off one of the doormen who went down the sidewalk almost physically shoving people back into the street.

Quite a surprise was the kick-boxing place drawing a big crowd. Not that the crowd was a surprise: They are tourists. Kick-boxing is a must see. The surprise was that there was kick boxing. Has that been there all along about halfway down the street on the sea side? I really should look around more. My technique is to plan my next stop, stare straight ahead and plow on. Fewer hassles with coyotes, people with large signs about something or other, and glowing rats. It works, but it is a bit problematic when I overshoot and end up off my mental map of the target bar. I guess I always wondered why there were people gathered there. I just thought they were a**holes. Not that they necessarily aren't, anyway.

It is behind The Avenue shopping mall which is on Second Road sort of across from Soi 13. The normal route that I would have taken would have been eastbound, passing the LK Metro area then taking a diagonal soi to Chalermphrakiat. We headed northbound. Hey, these guys know all the shortcuts. But this was turning into a hell of a bizarre shortcut. We got onto Second Road and kept going north. I waited for quite some time: You don't want to interrupt an artist or a really, really ugly moto driver with three teeth. Finally when I'm pretty sure we were about to see those f*cking dolphins again, I tapped him on the back. We pulled over. There was much poor Thai and wild gesticulating. He says, "Ah, "Chalermphrakiat Soi Sip Hok!" But probably with a rising tone instead of a falling tone or something. My guess is that the pronunciation I used meant, "Take me to Bill, the baht bus driver's, house. ".
So we wound through a whole bunch of back streets and ended up on the proper road, even on the proper side! A real win since it takes me five minutes to cross that thing. I tipped him a bit since it was a joint mis-communication and I really should have mentioned something before we were at the Bangkok suburbs. But for a pittance I got a nice tour of Pattaya seeing sights that escape most tourists, things like minute scratches in the paint of very large buses. On each side of me. I've always wondered how you say in Thai, "Do you realize I'm wider than your handlebars?
I do feel so much better with the helmet. I know that when we crash into a bus at full speed the tiny helmet will be driven fully onto my head so I won't look like a total dork with a child's helmet perched atop his head when the pictures are taken. I think the moto stand at the hotel is screwing with me, each time giving me a smaller helmet. It is getting ridiculous.
Speaking of ridiculous, what are the odds that the same provider will be first in line twice in a row? The Devil's Den visit was delayed for a day due to technical difficulties with my digestive system. Not the squirts, but incomplete evacuation, and with the almost guaranteed application of tongues to my anus I felt I might wait until they wouldn't come away demanding a bigger tip. This happens to me every so often. I actually visited a doctor about it. I did not learn the cause, but it was educational nonetheless: I can now add to my life's lessons that if the nurse is holding a caulking gun when you come out of the dressing room, things are not going well.

My favorite Thai food doesn't seem to affect it and is relatively standardized in preparation, so I figured it was safe. My favorite Thai food is the Samurai Pork Burger at McDonald's. Before you scoff (probably too late now) think about this: The Samurai Pork Burger is available only in Thailand. There is a similar product in Japan but it is not named the Samurai Pork Burger because who the hell would associate "Samurai" with "Japan"? Now think of Pad Thai. You can get that on or at least near every continent (I had some on a ship off of Antarctica). It is a really promiscuous food. The Samurai Pork Burger has remained true to its roots. So which one is the real, authentic Thai food?
My sabbatical over, I chose Rain and her choice of a second lady. I believe it was Gik, but I didn't catch the name very well and a review of the pics proved ambiguous. I made the choice based on those photos, which set me up for a bit of a surprise when I showed up at the Den. Rain is perhaps the largest person I have been intimate with other than someone in Kentucky during my quest to have sex in all fifty US states. There was little or no movement of anything but their mouths. They were having a long, casual conversation about whatever, and my money is on that it wasn't about sex. Okay, this was little different from the other acts I saw, except in one funny aspect: Early on the waitress had sat someone at the prime spot: The Asian gynecologist seat at the end of the stage, maybe a foot and a half behind the one girl's behind. Butt. I mean but, that was all he saw: A relatively flat, shapeless ass squished down on the stage so he couldn't even see the goodies. For the entire set. Lame.
Peppermint. Very average dancers. Really not much else to say. Sucks when I can't embellish!
Moving to LK Metro, Crystal: Generally average or above girls, one with the cutest butt dimples. There was a guy with a dancer a few feet to my left. They spent all her non-stage time enmeshed in a writhing ball, with various appendages poking out at all points of the compass. It was more passionate snuggling than sex, but somehow I felt I should be wearing a condom. When she was on stage he would madly puff cigarettes to make up for lost time. Inspired, I asked the waitress to fetch me a cute young lady who had just gotten off stage, but she couldn't find her. This happened earlier in Angeles. How scary am I?
Lady Love: The winner of the Tats And Silicone per dancer competition for this trip. Also won the award for the Longest and Thickest Nipples on a Dancer. Those things looked like my little fingers. I found myself staring, trying to determine if they were just nips or if she had some appurtenances on them. I think they were all her. You'd really need eye protection if you BF'ed her to a cool hotel room unless you wanted that rakish eye patch look.
Amethyst: Pretty impressive lineup of dancers. Only one or two who were not at least pleasant to look at. Several above average sized pairs of tits, either original equipment or damned good replacements: Nice jiggle action. They have the fireman's poles entry to the stage like Angelwitch, but this has a darker side: They look like they have a rudimentary second floor that could be used for seating, and that enables the tossing of bills and balls, and that produces those outright painful screams, as I mentioned (okay, make that "rambled on about at great length") in my Angeles write-up. And they really don't need that, anyway: A couple of times apparently spontaneous screaming broke out. No reason to aggravate the situation.
Showgirls: It seemed the most crowded of the LK Metro clubs I visited that night, but I couldn't fathom why: Average, at best, dancers. Maybe they just have a crappy seating arrangement. Note to Management: The '70's called they want their disco balls back. Holy crap! A couple looked like Pluto got glammed up and hung from the ceiling. Huge! Probably meant for two or three floor discos.
Queen: Utterly average dancers, a main stage, a naked girl on a side stage, and the puzzle stage: A carpeted stage in the corner that seemed populated only by girls in coyote outfits who just lay there lounging around. I couldn't tell if it was a break area or an active stage.
Kaos: A smaller bar with quite attractive dancers. A strange experience. I may have arrived a few minutes before opening time, but the door was open, so in I went. No one was on stage, but they happily sold me a Coke. To avoid the awkwardness of sitting there staring at the walls I randomly chose a nearby dancer for a LD. We chatted for a while but then she sort of ignored me and stared past my shoulder. Rude. I looked back. The mamasan was doing the evening briefing. It went on for a while. One thing was the rotation. They have five small one or maybe two person stages. The girls move from one to the next between songs. What could be simpler? It turned out that they didn't really do the simplest version. There were some weird quirks like the final stage was not an end one but one in the middle.
After a long, increasingly emotional ending to the talk, right about the time I expected the woman to bellow, "This is Sparta!" they broke into applause and I got the attention of my LD back. Okay, maybe not Sparta. Probably more like a 6 AM experience I had in Wal-Mart. I walked by a meeting at the entrance to the store as I headed for the electronics area. One guy was spewing some sales numbers. A few minutes later the eerie silence of the early morning was shattered by, "W!" WTF? Then came, "A!. L!. M!. A!. Are!. T! WAL-MART! WAL-MART! WAL-MART!" followed by wild cheering. I couldn't tell if the clerk left to man the department was sad that he wasn't invited or just really, really embarrassed.
Then it was stage time. The entire complement mounted. There was at least one tiny stage with four girls perched precariously on it. The vague swaying that passes as dancing at most Thai clubs would look almost frenetic in comparison to the show. No one seemed to dare move for fear of falling. Then it turned out this was roll call. The mamasan walked along counting heads and making notes, then released the masses, leaving a girl per stage. I've seen that somewhere before, but I can't place where.
Some of the entertainment was watching the girls in those huge shoes making the step from one stage to the next. I wonder how many get carted off by the end of the night. Scarier for me were the baskets of balls. With the tiny stages those things, and the pursuing dancers, are going to go everywhere.
But overall a good experience, sadly to be followed by.
The Office: Ugly girls. The blessing was that the place was a little bigger but did not cram an extra row of seating so the seats were farther away from the stage, sparing one some of the horror. Almost immediately I got approached by two dancers who were sub-par even for that establishment. I took a few gulps of my water, stuck a bill in the check-bin and fled.
I love Pattaya. I still give BKK the edge because of the variety of non-bar services available, but for a few days it is great. I'll likely include it in all future trips. But it was time to leave for my airport hotel, a quick side-trip back into BKK proper, and, sadly, home. But that is a much better story than this rather dry review, and I'll get it posted in the BKK thread as soon as this goes.
