In 2009-10-11 I was a regular customer at DD, always had a great fun with all the 3 holers girls incall or outcall. Anything as a Indian we have to be careful of. If you act respectfully and pay the right price without insisting too much on the bargain, ask for discounts, ecc... you will be fine. I read that some clubs have a "door policy" and don't want Indian.
Planning to come to Pattaya for my 3rd visit on December 27-30. Knowing that this is high season- any tips from senior member. How much extra I have to pay for bar fine. Does the amount of girls also increase in high season or people have to fight for good ones?
Any suggestions will be helpful.
P.S.: I am already paying 100+ per night for hotel. And my favorite hotel Baraquda already sold out.

The biggest lesson I learned from my two weeks was the time split between Bangkok and Pattaya I did 5 nights in Bangkok and six nights in Pattaya The next trip and yes there will be a next trip I will only spend 3 days in Bangkok and the rest in Pattaya and I will do the Bangkok at the end of my trip for easy access to airport. Soi 6 is just a wonder land of women. Also use the 45 baht airport line if you can, very easy to get into Bangkok and try to book a hotel close to the BTS line Just so easy to get around.

I have not been to Thailand for a while and am planning to budget for an upcoming trip around 2000 dollars total for about 10 days, not including hotel cost. That does not mean I'll spend all of that money but just what I was able to have in my savings until now for any future trips. I am not planning to barfine anyone from a gogo due to the high costs of both the barfine and the girl's fee, and who knows how much girls are asking these days.
I plan to stick to Soi 6 or massages for release every few days. Being older I have no need to have sex everyday as the desire is no longer there and am slowing down. I plan on going to a few gogo's just to see some old friends and enjoy the atmosphere. Then you have to download an app on the Cydia Store (only available on Jailbroken Iphones) called GPSCheat. That free app allows you to fake your location to an individual program on your phone, or to the entire phone. That way it appears that your phone is in Thailand when you are in California. Or it appears you are in New York when you are having a beer at Nana Plaza. It's really cool, but once again, it only works on jailbroken Iphones. If you haven't run jailbreak and you are on IOS 10, there is currently no jailbreak available to you. Hopefully that will change in the near future. Good luck and happy hunting.

Like you mention I don't have a lot of expenses and some things like transportation are negligible. I just don't have that sexual power like I used to as I near my fifties. On my last trip I had trouble getting it up a few times here and there. I budget about 2000 baht for a hotel per night and I try to have breakfast included in that price. If not I add 200 baht extra and that will buy me a generous breakfast.
Lunch and dinner together another 400 baht, although if I restrict myself to streetfood, I can easily halve the cost.
Some drinks (non alcoholic) and fruits during the day, say another 200 baht.
The bare necessities of life will cost me 2800 baht per day. I add a reserve of about 500 baht per day for any extra's, such as local transportation, visiting some sites, buying a book or newspaper, some souvenirs, perhaps some blue or yellow pills every so often. Say in total about 3500 baht per day and then I don't have to be misery. 10 days is 35000 baht or about 1000 USD.
For my "entertainment", I mix ST and LT. One day I will arrange an LT overnight companion and I budget 4500 baht for her, incuding barfine and some drinks for me and her (Note: I don't drink alcolhol). The next day I will either abstain from sex (in case I got a nice morning romp with the LT girl) or perhaps a happy ending massage or a Soi 6 quickie. That shouldn't cost me more than 1500 baht, perhaps even less. Total entertainment budget for 10 days: 5 x 4500 + 5 x 1500 = 30000 baht or 850 USD.
A budget of 2000 USD for 10 days is certainly feasable. It will not support anything extravagant, but neither do you have to rough it.

Thanks.When I went to Pattaya, I always stayed in the Jomtien area. If you are on or near Jomtien's beach road, it is easy to get a 10 baht ride to Pattaya wiith any of the songthaews.
For "local" entertainment, there are some beer bars and girlie bars, the usual massage places and even an agogo-club or two in the beach road sois. Nothing that compares with Pattaya of course, but I never had to spend my night alone if I didn't want to.
And if you really want to bring your Pattaya sweetie to Jomtien, a taxi is not too expensive and I have even seen some guys bring their girl with a bahtbus.
Hotels are abundant in Jomtien. Just look at the usual hotel booking sites. For a medium length stay I usually book a studio or small apartment.

Had an excellent short time session today at My Friend You on Soi 6. Cost was 1000 total. No barfine or charge for use of the room upstairs. This place already advertises cheap beer and I think they are out to be the low-cost leader on this Soi, judging from comments about prices rising at the other bars. The provider was not terribly attractive but damn did she have skills. Off to Beach Road for a last look before I go home.
This is a quick rundown of my last trip to Pattaya late Nov. I stayed about 10 days and was solo the whole time, but had a good time. Soi 6 was my go to spot and pulled some nice ones there. I never hang out at any bar there or buy drinks. Just stroll up and down until a chick that I like makes a pitch, then it's up to the room. Just got back last night and my flight on EVA was half empty, and got to sleep well across three seats. The way over was the worst flight ever. Few empty seats, and no space in the overhead bins. Even the flight attendants couldn't find an place for my regulation size carry-on. So it sat under the seat in front of me for the duration of the 16 hour flight. No leg room, and my body was a wreck by the time I got to BKK. It was only $735 round trip, but an upgrade is in order. I am talking more about guys that specifically target Soi 6. You figured filming yourself walking up and down and sticking the camera in girl's faces, some who clearly don't want to be filmed, would be played out by now. But it never seems to stop and seems like every other day some new Scorsese is doing his thing on Soi 6.

I tried to follow it and got derailed twice by the obvious distractions. First I started in the late afternoon, at the Jack Tar on Soi 6 for a beer, sitting on the outside. As the video states, these places he lists are good for people watching and the Jack Tar did not disappoint. A short, chunky farang woman walked down the soi with her chubby toddler in her arms, nervously looking left to right in the bars like she was looking for someone. Probably safe to say that Daddy had gone AWOL and she knew where to find him.

A somewhat experienced monger can surely do cheaper or get better looking / younger companions for those prices.
And besides, I find their website reallly unjust and unfair. They make it seem that:
(1) prostitution is illegal in Thailand and thus they "offer" you a service to escape the dangers of doing something against the law. Actually prostitution is perfectly legal in Thailand and the servcie they offer is called "pimping" and that is illegal. Quite the contrary what they suggest!
(2) finding a female companion is tedious and difficult and tiring: they must live on another planet. Getting female companionship in Pattaya is like shooting fish in a barrel.
(3) there is danger of being robbed or worse by bringing a girl (except for their girls of course) to your room: "It seems almost impossible to plan safe vacation, especially when you go for a such long journey in the distant part of globe, maybe you will expose yourself to be robbed by the beautiful, mysterious woman brought to the hotel". I'd like to see the statisticss of that assumption.
In the "center of Pattaya" but overlooking the "Temple of Truth"? The "Temple of Truth" is way up north, quite a good distance away from the night spots, but of course their companions are so special you'll never even leave your room. :)

Certainly, Soi 6 is where you need to go several times. Hundreds of girls of all types standing out there. You can literally start at one end, find a girl and do her, leave and walk down a few bars and find another to do, and again and again to you get to the other end. You are only limited by your body's endurance and the amount of cash you bring. Some girls might give a PSE. You never know. The girl I reviewed last month at My Friend You gave a PSE on my second visit (can't remember her name). Another along there (I withheld her name) gave a GFE.
Then Walking Street at night is a must, of course. If you are older, visit Red Car after 11 PM and you will be able to pick up a MILF. If younger, go for the discos that are much reviewed. Visit the gogo bars. There are enough on WS to keep you busy all week.
The Beach Road freelancers can be awesome. There are many dogs, but if you are there at the right time, some real cute ones will hang out and often give you a great time.
Get on the Tender app. I only connected with one girl that way but she was cute and came to me. But there are a lot of ladyboys on there, though they at least identify themselves as such. I had little luck with Thai Cupid, possibly because I only signed up a few weeks before I went over and there was too little time to establish a relationship with any one, even though a few seemed to be in the business.
There is Kinneree (sp) but you have to hire a taxi or motor bike, and getting back is a bit of a hassle. But the place is neat if you go when they serve free food, though you may spend an hour or two simply figuring out how things work (or read my report from a year ago November 2015, I think it was when I went).
I do not enjoy the soapies here. MPs can be hit or miss. I got a bait and switch once and the girl wanted way to much for FS. Some might stop at a HJ or BJ.
I am not familiar with the other places to comment on them. I typically spend the afternoons on Soi 6 and the nights on WS. Evenings are also good at Soi 6 before heading to WS. These locked door clubs have girls who will greet you with a smile, strip to nothing in the bar for the price of a lady drink, and blow you in the bar or fuck you on a couch at the back of the bar for 1000 baht. I have not yet written my reviews of my recent visit, but just as an example at Carre LE Blanc I fucked a gorgeous spinner at the back of the bar, then she stayed nude and sat on my lap whilst we chatted with two guys who were being blown at the bar.

I'll just say that in my years of experience here I have never heard of advance payment being required for a booking. I've made bookings a few times at PSE oilies in BKK with no requirement like this. The other thing is that I also rarely make bookings and when I do it is only because I'm hot to try a particular provider. I assume that must be your reason too. Devil's Den is not getting rave reviews these days so I would think twice. Also I would not make an advance payment. Period. There is just too much fun to be had in Pattaya without jumping through that hoop.

Many of the hotels lowered their prices because of lack of tourist. Perfect for me. LOL. Just enough tourist to keep the girls here. I feel kinda like I have the place to myself. Getting tattoos is simply just one of those trendy things people like to follow and copycat each other. Look at young girls in your home country, like the USA. I start to see many young people getting tattoos. It's because these young people see their celebrity idols getting tattoos, and they think it's cool so they start getting them and it just spreads like that.
Same with Thai bargirls. They see their friends getting tattoos and now they want one because they think it looks cool and it's the 'in' thing or some weird status symbol. You have to realize a lot of these girls are like young people anywhere else that tend to have a lot of disposable income. They get bored and spend their free time looking for things to buy. You will notice far fewer Chinese tourists on Walking Street than last year.
There are many articles of late regarding the decline in tourism. In fact, there is one today regarding Pattaya tourism being down possibly because Pattaya is no longer the cheap vacation destination it once was with tourists now turning to Vietnam, Cambodia, Philippines, etc.

Greetings, finally my boots on the ground.
Last night went to script as per usual on Walking Street. Around 8 pm or so when the gogo's start opening, not a whole lot of people but I still see masses of tour groups led by their leader with the flag. So tourists are still there. An hour or so later and then it starts getting crowded. May get busier as these last week or so of the year's end sees a lot of crowds.
Went to a few gogo's including Sensations. Lots of hot chicks but was not interested in barfining any.
Today went down to Soi 6, walked up and down just to see the sights.

Take a soapy for another instance. You know the entire 1800 is not going to the girl. Now that I damn think about it, a board member introduced me to a friend of his who opened one of those places. Wanting to be a good guy I went ahead and asked for a massage. As someone who has had the Spa massage at the Dusit in Pattaya, I can vouch for the ambiance. The oil based incense type fragrance that burns over a lit lamp is IMO simply heavenly and mesmerizing. I bought a few of the vials to take back from their Spa and enjoyed it greatly every time back home, particularly in the winter.
So, yes you are paying for the ambiance and they also surely take into account that mostly expensive dicks stay there, so prices are " Spa " prices for expensive dicks.

As mentioned, I'm planning my third trip to LOS for this February. I haven't been in 12 years. I have my flight and hotel booked. I'm staying in Central Pattaya at a nice boutique 4 star. In my two prior trips I stayed in North Pattaya at Greenpark resort. I considered that place this time, but decided I wanted a different locale. I do love the pool at Greenpark. If you haven't seen it just google image search Greenpark Resort Pattaya. Anyway, the place I'm staying at has a small pool so if I want to take a soak, there should be no problems. The location where I'm staying seems decent. I did want something a little quieter, less traffic around, blah blah blah.
I arrive at BKK on a Sunday at about 4 pm. I planned on taking VR Taxi Private Service. From what I've read on here (and I confirmed on their website) it is 1000 be from BKK to Pattaya. If anyone has any other recommendations on transportation to and from Patts, I'm all ears. I'm looking for dependability and comfort above saving 100 or 200 be.

I. e. , GoGo bar fines and ST vs LT, the Beach Road FL Scene, Soi 6 onsight BF and ST, etc. I've RTFF a lot over the last few weeks (I went back about 175 pages to Feb 2016 to get an idea of how things are the time of year I'll be there) and I'll continue to read so as to ensure I'm aware of trends, changes, etc. One thing I'm excited about is the discos. When I was last in Pattaya (2005), I didn't do much research and mainly hung out at the beer bars. I hit a couple BJ bars, but frankly I was not focused as much on how hot the girls were. Should I plan on packing designer jeans and / or slacks, dress shoes and button down shirts? Like the stuff I would wear to a club in the US? While on vacation, especially in a place like Pattaya, I like to where a polo or nice t-shirt, some khaki shorts, and some nice sneakers or flip flops. Any insight would be helpful on optimizing my opportunities to pull some hotties from the discos / clubs.
My preliminary thoughts on how I'll spend my time are as follows. I'm open to suggestions from Vets on how you'the use your time. I really want to make the most of my 6 nights.
I'm budgeting about $2,000 USD for mongering activities alone. I'll have another set of funds set aside for food, drinks, a little shopping, local transportation, any tours, etc. Also, if you guys have any recommendations on traditional touristy stuff to do I'the love to see it. I kind of envision my days like this:

Obviously, fraud is a concern so I'm curious, if I should open another separate checking account? I do have a separate credit card that I use to buy a subscription to places like ISG. I'the really like to keep the cash withdrawals to a minimum. Mainly because of the fees my bank and the ATMS charge. I've read about the Schuab card, but I haven't really researched it yet. Do you deposit money on that card then access it via ATM with no / minimal fees?
Regarding cell phone use. I've seen guys mentioning buying a sim card with a data plan at the airport and using that on their phone. My issue is that my phone is not unlocked, but my carrier does offer a data and voice plan for Thailand. What are your guys' thoughts? I don't really plan on doing much online stuff, like Tender or Thaicupid, mainly because I'm only there 7 days and I've read that can take a little time to farm. I've had success in the US meeting girls on Tinder so I wonder if that's another avenue to explore. My hotel has wireless internet and what not. I mean, I'll need my phone while out so I can access google maps or a translating app, or whatever. I'm trying to decide the best way to go about it.

On a similar topic I haven't paid a bar fine for a gogo girl for months and I go out with many of them.I have had numerous massages in those massage places along second road, near Avenue shopping complex, that seemed pretty legit to me. I usually get my upper back done, and the techniques and movements these Thai ladies did on my back were identical to the movements that were done on me by a licensed sports masseuse back home in the states. There's this one technique that really digs into the scapular area, very painful at first because so much scar tissue and knotting, same same.
I really don't know how these Thai ladies learned to do that, but they must have learned somewhere for them to be equivalent to licensed therapists back home.

What I meant is there are extras in the shop, not whether the massage was good or not. The very shops you mentioned above with white shirts and red pants do provide extras, at least to me. Not sure if because I am known to all the ladies there since I flirt with them almost daily as I walk by. Downstairs seems on the up and up but upstairs oil massage is another story.

Cheers!DM605 : You will do well at Ibar / Insomnia based on the info you provided about yourself. Dress hip, shave / shower before you get there. And I suggest about 12:30 or 1 am at the earliest. Avoid the girls in the lower level who play pool and avoid girls in groups of 3 or more. I suggest fashionable jeans (no shorts), hip shirts or dress shirts and dress shoes.
Be fun! Be active and move around so you can scope out all the girls in the club on a given night. Observe carefully, while smiling and making eye contact if you like a girl. I believe prime time is about 3-4 am to strike, but then you could also lose out on girls who already have been taken out. So, luck plays a big part.
Do not ask how much. You go say Hi, offer to buy a drink (not for any friends of the girl) try to chat and just move with the beat. If after that conversation you size up the girl and decide she fits your taste then ask if she wants to go with you. (go with me, go with you is the phrase they all use). If you want ST offer 1,000. If you want LT offer 1,500. If the girls says 2,000ST say thanks and move on. If the girl wants 1,500ST or 2,500 LT you should be able to meet at 1,300ST or 2,000 LT at the max. I assume you will not be looking for the GO GO girls or Soi 6 girls who show up there. Most of those will only want ST and will IMO not be worth it. If things go well, I usually pay up to 2 times what I agreed to (I don't do ST at all. 0 %), except for massage girls who agree to come to my apt for a legit massage with extras and who want to return at night for LT. These are girls that will not show up at places like Insomnia because they have to work the next morning. I look for freelancers or those whose employers will allow them to not come in for a day or two, subject to fine of say 400 baht per day. Which I then pay on top of what I agreed to. So, YMMV.

American culture is not Thai culture, and there's absolutely no way tattoos in general are 'acceptable' in normal Thai society as it is in American society (but even at that, there is still a bias against tattoos in many parts of American society). TEFL teachers in Thailand are in fact advised to cover up their tattoos.

First Sir this is just my opinion about bar girls and tattoos. I do understand how some are for luck etc. But, you can usually tell how long a girl works by how many tattoos she has. Many of these girls go a little overboard with these tattoos. Maybe in western culture tattoo are style. But, in my opinion when I see a Thai girl covered in Thai tattoos to me it means she is a bar girl. I think many Thais would assume this also because many Thais not in the sex industry don't have these tattoos.I myself don't see regular Thai women in public sporting visible tattoos like obvious bargirls and women in the red light areas of Thailand.

One girl, I would say a solid 8, with a Swiss sponsor/boyfriend, who asked for 2,500 LT, agreed to 2k and when we were together actually told me she'd even go for 1K LT, IF the guy was young ( I'm not !!) and she really liked him. So, there are many variables. But, you've to look decent, dress well, look interesting and have some game. If you are a dodo bird and just sit there and stare and have no game , you will have to pay more...
And usually when I like a girl she stays with me for several days when I sense there is chemistry. And then unbeknownst to them, at the end they do very well. With shopping, going out to eat and etc and end up on average with about 3 k per day, at least ( in cash alone). But, I usually slip it into their purse, in front on them before they leave and look to see if they count before they leave. If they do, then I don't have them back. Most don't, after a few days, because they have a good time and a good experience. I don't aim for counts or total numbers, just quality of my experience with them. It's all relative. But I don't go over 3 days, lest they have false expectations.
Out of the 100's each night at Insomnia, I may only be interested in about 5-7 and then I chat with them and see what I want to do after buying them a drink. Several approach me almost every night but I decline in a very nice and respectful Thai way with my hands.
We all have our different approaches and different ways. I am probably quite a bit different than most, in many ways, because I am happy to go for several nights returning from Insomnia at 6 or 7 am, all by myself. I am very patient and very relaxed since I know I'm there for several weeks. However, in the last 6-7 days, I change, and probably am not so patient and lose my normal discipline.

Also, if a guy does not have the experience level in Thailand and / or Pattaya and is only there for a week (given other flight, hotel and opportunity costs), I think it is better logical reasoning to offer more than an experienced Pattaya hand like you.
If you are spending a total of say $4 k USD ( like the original poster) on a 1 week trip, I suggest not to quibble about 500 baht. But, a priori, you don't want to agree to too much, so as to keep expectations low and then pay more based on your overall experience with them. Really good ones are hard to find, so when I find that to be the case and with good chemistry and a cool, relaxed attitude, then I want to keep that one longer, so I am not hunting every day. YMMV, but my hit ratio on a good experience is usually only about 50-60 percent, so it makes sense for me to see if things get better with time. Usually, the good ones work out, but after three or four days they want more, are scoping for more info about you etc. ,. that's when I move on. But, sometimes, I return to those maybe 20-30 PC of the time. 70-80 PC of the time, I don't look back.
One final tidbit, if they speak a lot of English then IMO they are old hands at the game, so I avoid them. I am always looking for relative newcomers who have only been in Pattaya 1-2 months at most, or are in non-bar girl, go go or coyote type jobs. But still under 25. These are hard to find and are few and far between.....

Anyways, the Prime reasons I don't like to offer more upfront is because a) I want to keep expectations low and b) experience tells me that in my specific case the more I offer upfront has almost zero statistical correlation to what happens later. However, I am sure they are all very surprised when I give them an extra 3-4 k at the end of say 3 days (on top of some shopping). And, this is another reason I don't go with regulars at Insomnia or girls in groups or from other places where they will talk to each other. Cute, but maybe you are speaking from you own experience dropping by a few bars and understanding their culture. I have been coming here year for almost 20 years and staying many times for a month each time. So my experience is a little deeper than a visiting a few bars.
The tattoos theory is just my theory. No need for johns to take things personally. I stopped into a few places on Monday night in walking street area. I had never been in Secrets, I had one drink and left, It was too quiet about 10 PM. Next went to Dollhouse because it was right there. The 2 girls in the soapy tub were fun, as previously reported, otherwise nothing special. Nudity is apparently up to the individual. And older dancer trying to compete with the more prevalent younger ones was completely nude. Many ladies danced topless. I was too quick to accept my change and discovered too late that I had been shorted 100 baht. My bad. Next I went to "Red Car" which for the newbies is actually named Walking Street Pub and has a 1955 Chevie hanging on the wall at the entrance. This was my first time in there, by now it is midnight and it is packed. However it looked to me like men outnumbered women 2 to 1. The music is current and good. I am a senior monger in every sense. I was attracted to an older woman with an amazing sense of style. We made eye contact across the room more than once. When I approached her she abruptly turned her back to me and slammed that door shut. I then moved on to Bamboo Bar right around the corner. Mostly dregs to be found. A few so bad I cannot imagine how they get by. I considered trying Beach Road FLs but I chose to go home alone at 2 AM.

It seems like a topic we read here from time to time, where guys ask our thoughts about meeting up with a girl they met online.
Last time this subject came up, several of us advised the guy not to take a girl he met online only, on an extended trip. Of course he ignored our advice and went ahead anyways, and he ended up having a bad time and validated our previous advice.

My first time to Pattaya was to meet a chick online. She was a hairdresser. Me and my wingman were coming down from Bangkok for 1 day so I could meet her. Just another long trip report. I had a 3 day weekend and wanted to spend it in pattaya. I head to Soi 6 first and check out the talent on display, and it wasn't great. So I head into Ruby club and asked for Nikki, the girl I long timed with about 10 months ago, but everyone says she doesn't work there anymore. This guy from Finland or Norway chats me up, and no offense to my Scandinavian brothers out there, but every single one of you guys are the most awkward people to have a conversation with, not just mongers, but in general. I never do ST, only LT as I enjoy the experience next day actually more than pre-sleep one. 1. 5 k is for LT (12-18 HR typically). As Mr E say 1 k can get LT as well but as I am kind of picky so 1. 5 k is ok for me. And girls seem to be happy as well as have good range of regulars.
Seeing as I never paid more than 1000 baht for ST earlier this month, then I must presume that you are paying too much for short time. Once you realize that and put it into practice, the economics will be more to your favor.

The Mia noi, or minor wife arrangement is fairly common in Thailand. I've had girls ask for between 30 and 50 k a month, but it was never clear how often we would meet or whether they also expected regular shopping trips, gifts, etc so I haven't gone for it. I have been on and off Pattaya quite while also, and normally give girl 1.5K regardless of what she ask or ask not. However, I have never had same girl more than 2 nights on a row. Now, I am facing (a weird) situation that I would like to try a true LT (i.e maybe few weeks) with one of my regulars with whom I have spent many normal (overnight /12-18 HR) LT's with my usual donation.
My question is what would be reasonable donation for this kind of extended LT i.e. few weeks, say maybe 1 mo or more, assuming I cover expenses and she just gets net cash to herself and family? I have not asked her nor have I offered anything. She is more than eager for such arrangement, putting aside pricing as no talk about it. Not sure if she expects same 1.5k per night or less.
Wondering if there is "generally accepted" weekly or monthly price or discount level for freelancers vs overnight LT price (like the 1.5k for overnight LT which I think is generally accepted by girls)? Or is the reality so that this just a case by case negotiation without any expectation on girl side? When you mention "big tips" on Soi 6, how big were they and what's your approach to giving them? I generally simply agree on a price beforehand and pay when the deed is done (perhaps tipping then if service as good). With my approach, I don't see how paying over the going rate makes any difference. Do you tell them they'll earn more beforehand if certain conditions are met?

I'll have to disagree that Pattaya is a dead town.
In fact, it's been quite lively the past several days leading up to New Year's.
Walking Street at night is packed as usual, the foot traffic going in and out of W. S. Is chaotic (as well as road traffic). The Central Festival mall area also gets quite packed with people.
I don't know how that translates to actual business but some of the gogo I been inside seem to be doing OK.
I have walked through Soi 6 but have not seen anything I liked.
