Ok I have booked my second Thailand trip for three weeks in Nov. I know it is a long way away but all fixed cost are paid already. Airfare done, Hotel / condo for Pattaya and Bangkok done. I learned a lesson from my first trip last year So I will be staying in Pattaya for twelve nights and Bangkok for only four nights at the end for access to the airport on departure. I have 12 nights at The Base, a one bedroom condo and four nights" full on Old man monger" at the world renowned Nana Hotel. I just wanted to know if any of you guys have rented at The Base in Pattaya how it was, I did not spend any time at Soi Bakoue (sic) and LK Metro so that is tops on my list this trip. Also who do you guys use for taxi from swampy to Patts. I will just pre book and get that done also. Boy am I suffering Pattaya Withdraw since I got back.

The Big plus with GOGOs is the lack of clothing, The Thai ladys seem to be experts in making small A cups into Big be's with the help of bras and some padding, kind of hard to do in the GOGOs also baby damage is also revealed.
Yes this phrase really doesn't have much meaning. Even in the cream of the crop Gogos with the hottest girls: Baccara, Sensations, What's Up?, at least 30% of the girls (and oftentimes more) I am not attracted to, or at least would not pay top dollar to go with.

I used Airbnb and got a place for $420 for the 12 nights.

Walking Street: Has topless Go-Go become a No-No?
More raids were conducted in Walking Street, South Pattaya, yesterday amid claims that a crackdown was targeting topless dancing at the resort.
On Sunday both the district chief of Banglamung and the head of police were in attendance as they threw the book at Dance 2 nailing the club with six charges.I thought I knew all the gogo bars on WS but no idea where "Dance 2" is. Anyone know? Article goes on to say 150 customers and shisha. No WS gogo bar I've been to serves shisha any more.

I always laugh at Pattaya News. They bust a thai bar and refer it back to gogo bars.
BTW, Happy Zones officially kicks off on March 25. "The Happy Zone project will turn Walking Street into a place of happiness for tourists. We have asked the operators to ensure there are no under 20s, no weapons and most importantly no trouble for tourists."

It's quiet, whereas hotels are noisy. So many people checking in / out and wakes me up before I should. It's more expensive than most hotels though. But for me, worth it. And as for size yeah it's a smaller condo, even for a Thai condo. But larger than most hotel rooms.

Hell, the girls working at Soi Honey Paradise massage only want 1200 for FS and you could *easily* switch them with gogo girls and the Soi Honey paradise massage girls would still probably be hotter. BR FL service nowadays is very bad, due to a very bad customers walk up and down in group and misbehave with the girls.
Low end or high end gogo don't make any difference if a girl is a runner or not, good and bad service can happen everywhere. ...I love to oggle at the agogos, in my all-too-infrequent visits to Patts. What I really meant was that the girls from the bars I BF from aren't going to risk getting booted from the bar where they have worked for a year, where all their friends are, where they feel comfortable but, most importantly, where they make very good money from a slew of Weekend Millionaires. If you pick up a girl at a gogo in Pattaya for ST let her know what you expect from her before you barfined her, you don't paid her until she leave if she promise you multi shots for 2 HR and want to leave after one shot I will not paid her the full amount I will make it clear at the bar, but in Angeles city PI is different you need to full in full at the bar there so you do get Runner there even the girl promise you she will stay all night at the bar.

I only had one girl do this to me. Interestingly enough a girl from Nigh Wish at Soi 6 August of 2015. First, a big thanks to all of the ISG active members both old and new! The weeks reading the forum leading up to my 10 day trip were.

Girls may have to cover up at work for special crackdown periods, when normally would be nude or close to it.

"New excise tax ceiling rates have been passed into law after they were published in the Royal Gazette on Monday.
The rates set tax levels for the next 20 years and are enforceable in the next 180 days, however, the head of the Excise Department said on Tuesday some 80 other laws would have to be enacted in order for the new amendments to be used to set % increases.
Several examples of the new ceiling excise tax rates include:
A single cigarette 5 baht.
A litre of beer 3,000 baht.
A litre of carbonated soft drinks 20 baht.
A litre of diesel 20 baht.
A single service at a massage parlour 1,000 baht.
A square metre of space in a nightclub 1,000 baht.
As I mentioned the other day, no need to panic about sharp increases as those outlined above are the maximum increases over the next two decades.
5 baht for a single cigarette would see 100 baht added to a pack of 20 that isn't happening in one go, nor is the 1,000 baht for a massage or any of the others in the new bill.
When will we see an actual tax increases? Likely by the end of the year but not at those rates above, that's for sure.

Hit Soi 6 and Kinnaree. Made a couple walks up and down 6 but nothing really stood out. Imo talent pool currently a bit week. Decided to hit Kinnaree. I was disappointed. Most girls were traditional Thai look that Syzy would prefer. Not ugly but again nothing stood out. I was literally about to leave when I met a great new girl her first day on the job. I tried training her well for you guys. She is keen and definitely not a pro. Of note, Kinnaree now requires health checks for girls. I'm assuming this is part of the new clampdown.
Also made a pass along BR on a baht bus last night. Quite a few girls out and some looked ok, from the baht bus anyways. Would have hopped off but made arrangements to meet a buddy on Walking Street.
Just returned from my very first time to Pattaya. Had an amazing time and wish I was able to stay longer than I had. I honestly miss it already and do plan on coming back for vacation soon. And if it's possible, a good destination for expatriation or retirement as well.
Below are some quick highlights and summary of my trip.

Visited Sabai Room on 2nd Road.
Interesting experience with the soaping and body gliding cleaning.
Although I had a good experience I didn't feel like it warranted a repeat.
Soi 6 Beer bars.
I felt really uncomfortable walking down this street. Perhaps because I was a newbie. And the thought of carrying a conversation with my nonexistent Thai and their nonexistent English also turned me away. Perhaps on my next trip, I'll be brave enough to venture inside one of those beer bars.
Walking Street and LK Metro Agogo bars.
8 total visited.
Windmill, Baccara, Iron Club on Walking Street.
Office, Touch, Sugar, Kiss, and Paradise on LK Metro.
Ended up bar fining girls at the Windmill, Sugar, Office and Kiss.
Great entertainment with music and party atmosphere, but expensive because my drinks and LDs, barfines added up quickly.
Beach Road Freelancers.
Had the most success and best bang for my buck here. Met with a total of 3 freelancers. I was content with all of them. Never felt any buyer's remorse.
- 20 year old Cambodian girl. Very pretty. Tiny petite little thing about 5'2" maybe.
- 26 year old Thai girl.
- 21 year old Cambodian girl. Beautiful girl, flawless skin, big round eyes. Solid 9 in my eyes and best looking girl of all the girls I've encountered in the entire trip. She was small and petite as well. 5'4" maybe. She is the only girl I repeated with; set up a LT date with her for the very next night, which also happened to be my last night. We banged, ate, then went clubbing till 3 am in the morning with 3 other of her girlfriends; one of which was the 20 yr old Cambodian I slept with the first night. I couldn't finish back at the hotel room because of the alcohol though.
Walking Street Freelancers.
I didn't have the guts to stop and talk to the walking freelancers on WS. Too self conscious about being seen. I guess I didn't have that problem on Beach Road because it's darker there with less people and all the guys there have the same motive anyways.
BJ Bar.
Checked out La Poste close by my hotel. I must say the quality there was pretty bad. I sat down at the bar and was approached one-by-one by 3 girls asking me "You want spend time with me? I had to politely reject them all. Finally, one I considered attractive walked from behind the bar and sat with me asking "Are you waiting for me?" I felt instant relief because I thought all along she was some owner / manager. I bought her a lady drink and the top came off. I took her to the back curtained area and experienced a magnificent BBBJCIM. She was attractive, a lot paler than fellow Thais; almost like Vietnamese features. Made sure I knew her schedule and I repeated with her on the last 3 consecutive days of my trip. On the second day I went there at store opening, there was another that was equally as attractive, but I decided to stay with girl from before since I knew what I was getting.
Club / Insomniac.
I walked into Insomniac one night around 2 am. Seems like a lot of working girls there waiting for customers. I understand all the agogo bar girls head there after 3:30 am, but I never got a chance to see what that was like since I'm usually done for the night with nothing left in the chamber. My 20 year old Cambodian FR took me to Lucifer on my last night, and another club I can't recall because of the alcohol in my system.
Summary.
Had the best time with BR freelancers. The 2 prettiest girls from my entire trip were the 2 Cambodian girls. I'll make more BR visits more often and only go sparingly to agogos to avoid the added cost of drinks and barfines. Plus a lot of the gogo girls after they sit with you, upon closer inspection aren't as fine as initially thought. Found the quality of BJ bar girls to be pretty bad, but found one really to my liking. Soapies probably one and done for me. Too shy and intimidated to try venture down Soi 6 and WS freelancers. The club scene interest me and I'the like to go about picking a freelancer there next time.

25 years ago, you may have struggled in Thailand. No westernised Thai girls or very few in Thermae, or bars. Not so many Japanese here. Young bar girls did not often have nose jobs and very few silicone implants as well. They could not afford it. Not many girls were already fat at age 22. Thai girls in those days tended to let themselves go to fat when married, having kids and reaching 35 Years Old.
Sure some fatties around, in fact my main buddy who was experienced liked them voluptuous to fat and said all my girls were skin and bones. We never wanted the same girl, almost never. Sometimes he could appreciate one of my girls not so skinny and with big natural tits. He like round faced girls, I liked slim faced girls.
My tastes have changed though. I am more fussy about looks than before. Especially about noses and avoiding very saggy stuff. Very saggy ass, belly or tits is big turn off.
Number of girls that are failures on the bed in modern day seems greater. Perhaps girls were much keener on Farangs in the old days and more horny. Soapies have declined badly for me. Perhaps can be good for you due to the westernised looks.
Rip off type girls have always existed but the numbers of these probably increase.

A couple final pts:
- Obviously I am head over heels for this girl, but not a naive fool. I'd like to get back sooner than later, and will definitely inquire about meeting up, but I'd be interested in what the veterans would say to me here. A true GFE with what seems to be compatible rapport is not easy to find, my buddy thinks I'm crazy for even messaging with her since returning to US.

The girls there are able to communicate what you need. Other girls and mamasans will help with translating if need be. It's your money, your vacation, and everybody on that soi is there for the same reason as you. Go for it! Same same for walking street but keep in mind a good percentage of SWs on Walking Street are ladyboys. And with some of them it is very hard to tell.

Same same for walking street but keep in mind a good percentage of SWs on Walking Street are ladyboys. I had recently a nasty episode with one money-grubbing hooker I knew long time, which left bad taste in my mouth.
Arrived yesterday in Pattaya and after check in headed for Soi 6. I think mid afternoon was a little early but walked up and down until I saw a nice spinner that caught my eye. Promptly came in from out of the heat and had a few drinks and chat. Think I will offer to test her out later today.
Meet up with Mike747 and we headed to LK Metro around 6 pm. After some cool drinks we headed into Touch. Nice bar with some good options. A little early to take as we planned to take a few girls each back to the hotel. Moved onto a few others and found The Office had the better options. Again a little early so we went to WS and headed into Sapphire. IMHO Sapphire had the best looking girls and the biggest lineup. Mike747 quickly selected his two and I was still scoping the options. We enjoyed a few hours there and decided to bar fine his two and collect them later. We then headed into some of the other bars. Went into Skyfall, Baccara and a few others that I cannot recall. IMHO the quality was not there and probably on par with LK Metro. Less tourists to deal with in LK Metro.
Finally decided to head back to Sapphire and collect the girls and I selected one as well. Took them back to the hotel and decided to all party in one room. Mike747 was keen to have all the girls naked so he lead the way by setting the rules and stripping down naked first. The girls soon followed. While they were good fun and we Bar fined them for ST it all felt a little rushed. One of the girls particularly was keen to leave as soon as she could. Mike747 gave her a hard time about her going back on what was agreed and he sorted her out while I played with my date.
All said, mine was a really into the night's activity and provided good service. She had a nice body. Would love to try her again but so many to taste in Pattaya so will not bother.

Three days in Pattaya.
I am not a fan of the gogo bars. I hunt at massage shops, Soi 6 and bars where I can play pool. I usually stay near Soi 6 at Centara Pattaya or Nova Gold Hotels. There are cheaper more basic options there but I am ok with about 1,500 per night. Right across from Centara Pattaya on a soi marked as 4 (on opposite side of Soi 6 between a Bangkok Bank on one corner and a 7-11 on the other corner) is a small, nothing special, massage place. I stopped in for a foot massage and the woman was trying to upsell me to an oil massage "upstairs". She looked ok but not a real beauty. I passed. The 2nd time I was in there I was joking about the special massage and decided to take the offer. She looks to be mid-30's and is 43. She has the body of a 20 year old with no babies. She is very tight, possibly nympho and maybe enjoyed it even more than me. She rimmed me sucked me fucked me and seemed to have no boundaries. I did not try anal but would not be surprised if she liked it. I'm more into chemistry and service with acceptable looks rather than stunning beauty. If that works for you, try her out. Ask for Noi.
On Soi 6 I stopped in at Scooter's bar. It is closer to Beach Road on the right as you walk down from 2nd road. It was maybe 6 PM and packed with (probably) expats. I countered with going to my room and giving her 1,400. That worked. She too was a good and enthusiastic performer. Rim, BBBJ and covered sex to finish. I do recommend that you try Lek but if you do the math you see I paid more than the typical Soi 6 bar. My other experiences were with pool bar ladies and while good for me, I have no specific recommendation for you.

After a very long first day decided a more moderate start was needed on day two. Went to Soi 6 and played pool in a couple of bars. Nothing caught the eye. I think the two bars and Lisa Bar had the best talent. Spoke to a few old timers who lamented the gradual changes to Soi 6. I found it fun but they say the LE is driving business down.
Went to Soi 7 & 8 and bar hopped in a few smaller bars. Again nothing that caught the eye.
Finally went back to LK Metro and checked out a few gogos. Stopped in the office and after a few good rounds of drinks I decided to bar fine. Must say that some of the girls were good looking but not a lot of punters. Went with my date to WS and dropped into iBar. Very crowded but there was a good girl to guy ratio. Seemed a lot of smiles were being returned when I looked at them. Had a date so was not interested but put it in the memory bank for another night.
Stayed at iBar for a while and then took my date back to hotel. Was not sure what to expect but with the amount of alcohol we had drunk we were both well warmed up. The date was a true GFE. Very affectionate and was eager to please. Without asking she stayed the night and well into the day. A real surprise and that is what makes the hunting worthwhile.

I've been to Pattaya a few years ago. I'd like to come back there in May or June and I am wondering if any of you guys know the "wind" condition during May to June?
I mean, I am looking for a nice spot to enjoy daily activities such as kite surfing while still being able to enjoy the nightlife and I'm a bit concerned that during May to June, it might not be very windy.
I've also hear about Hua Hin as good kitesurf spot but I'm not sure that's a great place for mongers.
Any Pattaya experts willing to help me?

There are a bunch of good reads like Private dancer. You can get those books while in town at Canterberry book store at Triangle soi just off Soi Baukhau as I call it. Can have breakfast while scoping out the massage parlor too.
Private Dancer is a book like many that is exciting to read, shocking to some but I also recommend Thailand Fever, boring to many but provides more information and example's to the Thai thinking and culture.

What do you mean by "unsafe enough"? I know that some jet ski activities are big scam there but I've found a couple of kite surf school in Jomtien that seem "pro". I was just wondering if anyone had experiences with this before.

Some gogo bar reports this past week. Many many girls missing gone home just after high season and to take their kids on vacation for Summer break.
Fahrenheit. Ok but didn't stay long as I knew before going none of my 3 girls would be there.

Alcatraz shut down. I took some photos of the future of Walking Street. Many building and streets shut down. "Fires" in 2 buildings.

You think it's safer in the DR?Actually I do. How many times do you hear about people dying scuba diving in Dominican Republic? Seems every week someone dies scuba diving (or just being in the water period by being cut up by props, ran into by boats, etc) in Thailand. Myself, I almost lost my foot from diving in Koh Tao. Never hear about many people dying on zip lines, being electrocuted, or falling off buildings in the DR either. So yes, I think DR is much safer than Thailand when it comes to extra carricular activities.
Well the last two days of the trip lived up to expectations. Decided on trying Heavens and was pleasantly surprised by the setup. A lot of girls with a great attitude. Selected one that I would not normally see as my type but she had a way about her that pricked me interest (pardon the pun). Total GFE and she was up for a long session. Not rushed and made the experience very well worthwhile. Actually good value and a great way to spend a few hours in the afternoon. BBQ was also really good. Girls were very friendly and relaxed.
Then took a taxi back to soi 7 & 8 and stopped into a few bars to watch some football. Was walking along Soi 7 I think and a spinner caught my eye in Pandora. Decided to stay a while a see how the evening went and eventually decided to take her back to hotel. Fantastic selection as she was a total GFE and was also very good at her craft. Again not normally a girl that I would take as she was a little more curvy but one thing I have learnt from this trip, even at my age, is Pattaya has some intringue to it. Go with the flow and see what happens. Certainly was a good selection and Pandora was fun. After another few hours of good sex I decided to head to WS. Dropped into Baccara and found it totally fake and probably worse than the one in BKK. Girls all had plastic boobs (not my style) and had eyes for the Asians. Must see 333 stamped on their foreheads. Reminds me of Thermae were being non Asian with cash means very little. Still, if they do not want my money I am happy to keep it for someone else.

Last night my taxi driver told me that 6 people died 2 months ago near to where I live (in Bangkok) when a building next to the Wells International school collapsed. Shit I did not know about that. May have been away at the time. I can see the mess of rubble and metal tubing when I go to the 7 store. Am told it used to be 8 stories (now just chaos all at one level only) and had an vintage car showroom. Workers are there for the difficult clean up job. Who knows if bodies were all recovered.

Well the last two days of the trip lived up to expectations. Decided on trying Heavens and was pleasantly surprised by the setup. A lot of girls with a great attitude. Ocean rather than Oceans, Angel rather than Angels, even Victoria Secret rather than Victoria's Secret, etc. Exceptions exist: Annie's, but not many come to mind. Thai language has no plural or possessive version of words (from adding an S). An added "S" is an indicator of something in English and not intended for Thais at all I guess, since often they can't pronounce it.

1. Soi 6 - This has got to be the place where every male (heterosexual and the other kind) on this planet can get laid in under 30 minutes. If not, see a doctor.
2. Soapies. Rasputin, Sabai House, Sabai Dee, Honey to name a few.
3. Massage Shops - 7 out of 10 massage shops in the city will offer an upgrade to full service. All you need to do is ask respectfully.
4. Go Go Bars. There is a ton of them on Walking Street, Soi Diamond, Soi 15, L K Metro etc. Steep prices though.
5. Beer Bar Complexes. There are two on Walking Street, quite a few along 2nd road, Beach Road, Soi Diana, Soi Buakhao. One large complex at Drinking Street. Quite a few along Soi 7 and Soi 8. These places can give you a "real" feel of a hunt. You might walk away beaming with pride at your pickup skills.
6. G Clubs. Easily a dozen or so have been listed in past few pages. Kinnaree, Heaven, Rioja, M Club to name a few. Relaxed environment, friendly ladies, reasonably priced drinks and food. Best way to spend afternoons if you are over 50 and don't fancy walking up and down Soi 6.
7. BJ Bars. Although they are called BJ bars, they offer FS too. Club 4 (not sure of its status after the raid), 007, Pirate, Bar de La Poste, Telephone, Carre Blanche to name a few. My Friend You and Click on Soi 6 are BJ bars too.
8. Dark Side. As the name suggests, not much has been reported about this area, but there are quite a few bars there. If you fancy some adventure, please indulge.
9. Na Kluea. Again, not much has been reported and I have only gone there for the food and a couple of times to meet some pre-arranged dates. But I have seen a few bars on and off in that area.
10. The Internet. Since the boom of social media, practically every working girl in Pattaya (and beyond) is on the net hooking punters. If you are not in this game, I pity you. It is possibly the most hassle-free way to get chicks to bang, directly delivered to the cosy comfort of your hotel room. It is rife with some risks too, but if you read a few reports and use some common sense, you will be fine.

Alcatraz shut down. I took some photos of the future of Walking Street. Many building and streets shut down. "Fires" in 2 buildings.Here are some photos I took last week. Things always changing, what goes around comes around?
The way Alcatraz was going no surprise it was closed, but the sign above, Miami, is suppose to be coming, say Soi 15, but I've walked down this Soi many times since its closing and don't see currently a available space unless someone else is going to close.
Rock Street, another opened to try feed off the success of the Stone, never saw much happening inside so no lost.
Don't remember a fire near the-Club, the space next door was Moon Go Go, another lost cause that closed. Some rumor that the Night Wish group from Soi 6, is interest?
Soi be. J. , even before they removed the buildings there wasn't anything there except the hotels in the back. And I have to include Wildcat, which I try to give a chance with 6 visits, but all the owner did was post picture of girls that didn't exist. The only lost is the popular bar that was at the corner. At one stage they had a large banner saying some large entertainment complex was coming but the date has already past. Now the banner is gone but regardless of it being empty there are still places closing and opening all the time.
Nothing to worry about and there is no real crackdown. They got a Happy Zone and Walking Street is on it.

I have heard of plenty of guys holidaying in Pattaya, without any intention to use hookers, but why? Maybe I am far too old to understand. I understand Thais going there due to easy proximity to Bangkok, but surely there are so many more beautiful beech destinations in Thailand. Is the nightlife still exciting if not interacting with hookers? I also remember years ago, Thais liking Pattaya because it's a wild place where they don't have to be prim and proper, however girls are not so prim and proper any more in Bangkok. Trying to make Pattaya respectable seems ridiculous. Thailand should just concentrate on getting rid of girl trafficking reputations, girls on contract, and that other special forbidden category. I have been a long time reader of this website but have, up until now, never bitten the bullet and posted anything myself. I was a selfish sponge like creature sucking up the tips and recommendations of other gentlemen on this board, yet I never gave anything back in return. Following this trip I decided to write down my experiences, I did this in order that I could recollect my experiences in the future (in previous trips the memories of my experiences have, over time, somewhat faded and I didn't want this to happen on this occasion). Also, writing these reports acts as a kind of anesthesia to the dull, numbing pain that goes with no longer being in that wonderful haven, that gentleman's paradise, that wacky, anything goes city of sin we call. Day 1:
I left Shanghai and took the short 4 hour flight to Bangkok early in the morning. I had pre booked a car to take me directly to Pattaya as I couldn't be arsed with fannying around with buses or negotiating with taxi drivers. The traffic on the road was terrible and it took 4 hours to get to my hotel located on Second road between soi 6 and 7.
Originally this trip was to have been a lads holiday as part of a series of leaving parties, but, for various reasons everyone else had pulled out and I was left alone. Whilst initially annoyed (I had even thought about cancelling the trip myself) I thought it might be quite an exciting adventure doing this trip alone for the first time, doing and going where I wanted rather than following the group.
Upon arrival my original plan was to have a quick nap to save some energy for the long night ahead, but after a few fruitless attempts to get my head down, I knew it was never going to happen and I headed out to see where the early evening would take me.
After a few warm up beers in various watering holes I decided I was lubricated enough to head down to Soi 6 (I have never had the nerve to go there stone cold sober). Once I stepped off the Baht bus and walked its hallowed ground my fears were allayed, I immediately knew it was everything I remembered it being – bright, brash, exciting, full on, a little overwhelming but ultimately the most amazing street in the world.
I stuck my head in a few bars, and handed out a few LDs, but nothing was really hooking me in. They were either too young, too old, too drunk, too boring, too fat etc etc. I was going on my final lap of the street when out of the cacophony of cat calls one pierced my ear drums loud enough for me to pay attention. Her name was Fon, and I'm sorry gents but I forget the name of the bar she was in. What I do remember is that she, and her colleagues were all wearing sexy, slutty nurses outfits. She pulled me in and I immediately bought her a drink. She then proceeded to tell me all the things she was going to do to me. But there are plenty of other bars on Soi7. And she will get the message when you walk by her bar and don't stop to take her.

I think the room upstairs is 300-350 baht for 1 HR. Of onsite fun plus around 1000 baht to the girl. A Soi 6 girl quoted me 1000 barfine to take her off the premise for the night. She said she would 'kill' me if I barfined another girl.

I was surprised at the low number of "high end" disco girls. That is a lower rate than previous trips and I think was an anomaly as I was concentrating more on Discos I guess. Reviewing the data, I continue to be shocked at the cost per encounter. I do not monger much at all in the USA, and the reason is clear. In Pattaya, you can go down to BR and often get a really pretty lady for FS for $23! Soi 6 often hides some real stunners for $29 for a full hour if you take that long! I did not deliberately stay away from the gogo's, even though the average for some top-quality girls was just $72 for ST. To use this data, you can estimate the number and types of different encounters you want for each day of your planned visit. I remember some Reno mongering from over 10 years ago where basic FS could be $300 to $500 to even $1000 for a 2-hour party. In Pattaya, you can engaged some really cute sweeties for $23 to $72.

As I was talking with my Cambodian ladyfriend on my last day, she started talking about how Pattaya had changed. She said that one of the things that has dented the working girls income is the number of girls coming to Pattaya on holiday, and giving it away for free. I'll be making my 2nd trip out to Pattaya next month which happens to be during the low season. I'm curious to know what I should expect. Is it to be expected that there'll be a decrease in the number of available ladies in all areas (agogo bars, beer bars, clubs, freelancers)? The same decrease can be expected from the tourists and patrons? I know the low season has an overall effect in airfare and hotel / accommodation prices. The last time I was in Thailand during Songkran was in 2008, and I was pretty sure things on ground this time would be vastly different from my memory of Songkran in Pattaya. I was both right and wrong at the same time.
I was right about the fact that Songkran has nothing to do with availability and price of pussy. I was wrong about the notion I carried that over the years the madness would have sobered down a bit. And how!!
I had booked a deluxe room with pool facing balcony at Areca Lodge on Soi Diana. I managed to get a great deal from the hotel. Day (Night) 1 – 12 Apr.
I flew into Suvarnabhumi from Singapore on an evening flight that landed in BKK at 7 pm. Now that is peak time for arrivals and I knew there would be a massive jam at immigration. But thanks to the best kept secret of Suvarnabhumi, I was out of immigration and baggage collection within 12 minutes of landing. I had booked a taxi to Pattaya through VR Taxi Service. Very reliable chap this Keak who runs the service. He charged me 1200 thb this time, said it's Songkran and it's hard to find a driver. I reached the hotel and checked in by 9. 15 pm and took a nice hot shower.
And here is when the fun starts. I had arranged for 3 girls to meet me at the Areca bar at 10 pm, 10.30 pm and 11 pm. The plan was to get a ST done with one of the three girls and then head out to look for LT prospects. I had arranged 3 girls purely for back-up. Very crowded, mostly locals from the province roaming around in gangs having fun in playing with water. And the bars were packed too. I got accosted at one of the bars by two cute girls. I think this demonstrates something important. A girl does not have to be behaving well "over the top" to be good on the bed, after inhibitions relaxed somewhat by a few drinks. Last stop at Wildcats following a review by a fellow BM. And he was right. You can spot the girl he described in a heartbeat because she was the only one worth noticing. Strange, because the bar was not empty. Quite a few patrons has their hands full (literally) with other girls. A two month old report.

The world works on the principle that something is only worth what someone is willing to pay AND someone is willing to sell for. The girls are selling and if punters are willing to pay more then that is what the price is. I have travelled to many asian cities where the prices are extreme for sex compared to say Thailand. Punters there pay because that is what the girls sell for. What a punter pays for sex is up to him. The girls can also take or leave our offers. Market forces in play. Sometimes we pay less and get great service and sometimes we pay more and get duds. We all want value for money but rarely in the mongering game is that truly defined because we all have different needs. Any deal must always be a win win for it to be of real value to bith parties.

The J / K patrons have always been paying more, not just 3 yeas back. Furthermore the segment we are referring is vastly different from the specimen that was tipped 1000. Those worlds will never collide.

Flak3 I'm enjoying your posts and I have no criticism of the lessons that you are learning. I do wince at some of the costs but only in the sense that I feel bad for you. I also realize that it can be a steep learning curve on a new playground. Members will always advise to RTFF and I do not disagree. What is true about that though is the TFF is now a mature beast and a best practice from years gone by of listing the price of an encounter in every report is not always adhered to. Actual reports like yours are harder to find too. As a local sexpat, here is an exchange that I had about pricing. The ladies keep tuned in to price structure and if they work in a bar they have a "set price" based on that fact. This story happened in BKK in a dive bar where I sometimes play pool. The girls always chat you up to size you up. Stuff like is it your first trip to Thailand? and how long are your staying? NEVER admit it is your first (or second) time in Thailand, and always say you are in town for 30 days and not just 3 days. Don't set yourself up as a mark.
Paying above the going rate (or spending whatever is in your pocket) does not make you a generous man in the eyes of the ladies. It makes you a chump who does not know the local prices. They actually look down on you for it. Best practice is: pay the going rate, and treat them with respect.

There are hybrid beach girls, gogo, beer garden, white women, civilians who hit the disco for a good time. The downside to the disco is they have an age rule of 20+. Second girls come with friends who can alter her decisions. Next, some girls only want to party / become too wasted as the night goes on. Discos run until 5 AM to 7 am so you might want to get a massage / BJ beforehand if you go home empty handed. Discos are not always a slam dunk and you are at a disadvantage 3 am. You can turn the lateness into your advantage if a girl wants one last customer for the night because sometimes rates drop. Beware of girls who want to run up drink tabs. A couple round of drinks will put you in the hole 700 baht before the lovely is pointed in the direction of your room. Another warning, recently I noticed discos have a high male to female ratio. The good news is some guys come with dates or are not looking for a bed mate at the moment. I've seen my favorite disco have a 1 :1 ratio at 1 am. I never paid attention to the guy to girl ratio until my friends complain about anything less than 3 girls to a guy.
