I can also add here my "same same" type of bad experience in barfining at Windmill. In February I was there and saw a young, inocent look, fresh dancer. Bought her a drink, had some good couch experience, kissing, etc .. she was not pushing for more drinks ... and at some point I asked her about barfing her longtime. I did not get the answer right away. She went back to her dancing turn ... I almost forgot about her. About an hour later she came to me saying that she cannot go longtime tonight because she has a birthday party later on but she can go longtime with me tomorrow.
Well the next day I stopped by ... she was not there ... but the mamasan (who was very well informed) told me that she will come tomorrow ...
I got a clear impression that everything comes from mamasan who likes to play this come back later/tomorrow game, delaying her "No" answer as much as possible ...
Well, the next day, I was there again. When the girl saw me she looked little embarrased and told me that she cannot go. I had the clear feeling that she wanted to go but .. she was told that she can't..
In the end of March I started my 3 days in Pattaya at Windmill around 19:30 and generally stayed there an hour or two before going to other bars. My last day there was on a Monday and I had intended to barfine a dancer that I had gotten to know the previous two days.
After a couple of lady drinks for the dancer, we called the mamasan over and let her know I wanted to barfine the dancer longtime. The mamasan told me the bafine was 300 short time and 1,000 longtime. I was surprised, but as it was my last night and I really liked this dancer I agreed to 1,000.
The mamasan told me she would be back in 2-3 minutes and walked away. That was the first time I’d ever been told to wait, but I didn’t really mind, it just struck me as weird.
A couple of minutes later and it was my lady’s time to dance. She started to dance and had been dancing for 3 or 4 songs before I was told by the lady (a waitress or the mamas an had talked to her) that she couldn’t be barfined long time.
I then spoke to the mamasan and she said she didn’t have enough girls. There didn’t seem to be a shortage of ladies to me, and although it was crowded, it wasn’t nearly as crowded as it had been on the two previous nights (Saturday and Sunday). The mamasan told me to come back later.
I was frustrated and surprised at the lack of customer service. I’m sure the mamasan knew immediately that she wasn’t going to let the lady go long time but probably didn’t want to convey that information to me directly. Instead she chose to delay that by 10-15 minutes through an intermediary.
About 23:00 I came back to Windmill and the dancer was all excited and wanted to know if I would barfine her. I told her if she could go longtime I would. The mamasan still wouldn’t let her go so I left and went to Living Dolls Showcase and immediately barfined a dancer I knew there for 600 and 1,700 long time to her and proceeded to have a great night with her.
About 03:30 in the morning I got a text message from the Windmill dancer that she wanted to come over. Told her I already had someone in the room.
The next day on the way back to Bangkok I sent a complaint to the Windmill web site not expecting a reply, and to this day never received one. I quoted them some of their propaganda on their web site about the customer being right and “how long” is “up to you”.
Although I had a good time there, I will even think trying to barfine someone there again.

in rolling stone 2 bar i marvel at the fun the girls get out of hearing the band play the old rock songs. they sing loudly to zombies, in your head - the place erupts. i watch the new customers come into the bar, a girl greets each new group and tries to get them to sit - most falang look very tense and unhappy at this moment and some turn and walk out. i want to tell them to relax, smile, you can trust these girls. some young guys come in and i see that no girl bothers to greet them, i ask a girl why - she explains young men fuck too hard.

telling a girl in secrets bar that she is the most beautiful thai lady i have ever seen, bhagwan she says, smiling. pom mai bhagwan krap. she laughs. truth be told she was not even pretty but it turned out she had a stunning body. thai girls have taken full advantage in bra technology developments. it is hard to judge until the bra comes off. in the morning this girl asks me if i want to go to the temple at sataheep with her family. yes, i say so we go outside and jump into a landcruiser with her two brothers, sister, their spouses and children. i feel like i am one of the family.
in a go-go bar, i am buying drinks for a show girl. these show girls can be hard core. i make a point of being very respectful in the bars, i don't touch the girls intimately. the show girl does the thing of reversing into me and she subtly manoevures herself so i'm surprised to find i am caressing her breast and then a masterstroke, she pulls away from me slightly and i find my other hand is squeezing her arse. she feels so good, her body is just perfection.
staying at radi mansions, constantly joking with the staff and the owners, this is the happiest hotel i have stayed in anywhere. one night i am sitting in the foyer with my girl and a group of germans are drinking beer, some with their girls. as each guest approaches from the street, one of the guys says in german, "here come the next ones", whereupon they all turn around and shout (probably) obscene comments to the guy coming in with his girl. huge bursts of solid german laughter and ribaldry. finally one guy comes in, alone. they say to him, "where is your girl?". he says "oh i forgot", and goes to turn around to go back to town and get one. i swear the laughing went on for five minutes, tears streaming down faces, thai staff laughing too.

He means you can't have one moto taxi carry you AND your girl.
Daytime you need two taxis. One for you, one for your girl.

Not an issue with the girl but with motor bike taxis transporting two passengers on one bike during the day.Sorry, I though you meant taxi=cab. Nice report anyway!

I understand the Winchester is a good place with on site services as well as many ST bars around the 'complex'. Also some bars offering naked pool for some reason !?!? Any up to date info and where to go and what to avoid is appreciated.

They will find you no problems.
You will probably not want to leave

Also Blarney Stone and the The cosy bar have some nice girls there, went on a bit of a crawl in January .Jade House is fun, nice buffet on Wednesdays, yes I mean real food and the regular "everyday" buffet is not bad either.

Nui's A-Go-Go on Walking Street and New Star just off Walking St on Soi Diamond are open at 1pm daily.

Am on the ground in Pattaya right now, so I thought that I would post a quick update on the situation here, given all that is going on with politics in Thailand at the moment.
Am glad to be able to say that Pattaya is live and kicking, a bit slower than last time I was here during the same time in the year, but it has not slowed down as much as I felt BKK had when I was there a few days ago.
So if it is helpful for anyone planning a trip to LOS in the next few weeks or so, then I would definitely say aim to spend more time in Pattaya than BKK since BKK has for the time being (IMHO) gone a bit quiet.

I have tried unsucessfully to get others to share a ride. I think I will pack a sign and marker to hold up. My best bartering bring a price of 1200 baht.

I've seen a number of reports about transport to Pattaya and thought I'd offer some information.
First, a taxi is of course the quickest and most convenient, but don't agree to a price of 1500 baht. You can always get a better deal if you look like you're willing to walk. Just head downstairs to the ground level where the buses depart. There the taxis will go for less. I've had no trouble getting to 1000 baht. There are usually several people looking for a ride, so you might succeed sharing a ride, if that is your interest.
There are at least two bus options. One is had at a dispatch desk on the ground floor at the far end of the terminal. I think the last bus leaves about 5:15PM and it costs around 150 or 200 baht. It will take you to two or three spots in Pattaya. From there catch a baht bus or a motorbike to your hotel.
The second option is to take the airport shuttle out to the bus terminal at the edge of the airport grounds. In the center of the terminal is a desk for Pattaya. A ticket is about 110 baht and the buses leave every two hours up until 7PM. The bus goes to the Pattaya bus terminal. Along the way it wil stop several times to let locals out, but the real destination is the Pattaya bus terminal.

Tell me it isnt so! Please!Unfortunately the Hell Club is down and out for the count. The good news is that the owner is apparently in the process of creating a new place very much like it. Word is it'll be called something like 'The Devil's Lair'. No clue yet how soon it may open.
I was planning to go to BKK, but I wanted to also see Pattaya. If this is true, I will change to Pattaya.

They are reliable and frive good cars. Just send an email with your flight number and he will be waiting at exit 3 at the arrival area with a sign with your name on it. 1100 Bt, no hassle, any time! I used them for the first time 3 weeks ago and was really impressed.

I've also used this service 4 times, and they are always on time and reliable. Frankly, after travelling for nearly 30 hours from the west coast, it's worth the cost difference between a public bus and a private driver to take you to Pattaya. As noted above, the driver is waiting for you with a sign, and about 90 minutes later you're being dropped off at your hotel. I've also used this service back to the airport from Pattaya, and I received the same fine service. For just under 31 USD you can't beat it.
By the way, each of the drivers that I've had speak little or no English, which isn't a problem, as they have been given instructions where to deliver you, and the 90 minutes of silence is great for taking a little nap.

Sure, some reports with hints (and obvious STAY AWAY messages) of places not to visit have been posted - but I would really appreciate if you have suggestions of such places...and why you think its a good idea to not visit them.

I'll be in Thailand next week (yeay!!) and know BKK pretty well from previous trips so this time I thought I'd give Pattaya a go.
Guys, are there any specific bars and go-go's you can recommend for young (18-21) beautiful girls? (Actually, for me cuteness outweighs beauty, but anyways).
I was recommended the Sabai Inn as a decent, clean place to stay. Anybody stayed there? I like to be close to the action but not right in the middle of it, so if you have any suggestions where to stay, please let me know.
Also, what's the going rate for bar fines, LS and ST in Pattaya these days?
Please bear with me for asking all these super basic questions. Man, I'm soooo exited to be going to LOS again!

I have been going through the reports an cannot seem to find any upto date information on the Russain Freelancers in Pattaya.
Do they have a place in Pattaya like they have in Bangkok like CM2.
CM2 in Novotel Hotel in bangkok - A disco with russian, Uzbeks chicks freelancing.
Anyone have any information if somehting like that or a bar that russian freelancers frequent?

Anyone have any information if somehting like that or a bar that russian freelancers frequentI don't know about bars but if you take a stroll along Walking Street you will come across many East Block girls that work as free-lancers and try to pick up clients there. They will "give you the eye" so you now they're available.
I heard that they also visit bars in that vicinity frequented by Arabs.
I've also frequently spotted them in front of the hotel across the new Central Festival shopping mall on 2nd Road that seems to be used a lot by Indian package tour tourists.
As Russians girls are not my cup of tea I haven't paid any attention to them.
I would stay away from the Kitten Club Half ladyboys, extremely high drink prices and though I haven't experienced it I have heard a lot of complaints of them padding peoples' bills.The old middle eastern girls on Walking Street are no Russians. They are Uzbekhs, Kasachs, Turkmenistanians, etc.
There is an Russian club behind Tonys Disco, with Russian table dancers. I am not sure if they go with customer, but I doubt. Except if you offer a little fortune. But, there are Russian Tourists and if you try you might br able to invite one for a dinner. Maybe you can land with her into your Hotel room, but that is not for sure.

Hi, having read the replies to your request, I have to agree, there are very limited Russian Bars etc in and around Pattaya that so called Freelancers may frequent.
Towards the end of Walking St there are a couple of places which are totally Russian orientated, not only the menu etc, but even the Thai band perform (poorly) in Russian. I spotted quite a few groups of girls there who could be just enjoying their holiday, but might be available to a daring Monger.
Another angle to try is the day trip on the ferry to nearby Island of Koh Larn, hundreds of Russkis go over every day. Samai Beach is one of their favourite haunts and we saw several groups of young russian girls all having a good time. Easy to spot them, mostly fake blondes with their tits out in the sun. Once again a daring monger might chance his luck and find something to chew on.

I go to another "German Dental Clinic" aka "Inter Dental Clinic" (don't know if related) on Thappraya Rd (the road from South Pattaya to Jomtien) and am very satisfied with their services which are quite reasonable and inexpensive. (cleaning is only $24USD)
I thought I was going to need several crowns but after an examination was told that I didn't need any so I believe they are quite honest and reliable.
The office is large; there are several dentists; and scrupulously clean.

I do not know about such a place. I also like wider hips and bubble butts. From my observation, such girls don't work in GoGos, since they think they are ugly. I saw some, but very seldom on walking street (ge careful there are also many LB, whose fill in these spec.) and in freelancer places, like Marine Disco.
Sometimes I meet girls with wide hips, but bubble butts are really seldom to find on a Thai girl.

Any place frequented by Arabs is a good bet. They tend to prefer the Thicker girls also.

I reported earlier as Daddy07, I visited the German Dental on Thappraya Rd. next to the 7/11, they are pretty in the ballpark in place as Bangkok Pattaya Hospital and other top dentist. There is a guy on Soi 5, Central Pattaya as you go down Soi 5, towards Beach rd. the building small shack is on the left side can't miss it. He is also around the 35,000 mark. The big difference in the German place is that he has his own lab and can do it in a few days whereas many take weeks.
Once you get into that amount 35,000 you might want to consider implants at Siracha Hospital, I heard they start as low as 40,000.

While I have seen many reports of places that people enjoy and recommend, I have not seen all that many reports of places to NOT visit. Sure, some reports with hints (and obvious STAY AWAY messages) of places not to visit have been posted - but I would really appreciate if you have suggestions of such places...and why you think its a good idea to not visit them.

People here often ask for recommendations of bars. For the most part, almost all bars are hit and miss. This means, which girl type do you happen to personally like, also happen to be working at that particular bar that day.
The same answer applies to your question. First, if you stay in the tourist areas. I live here and I do. Then you will be fine unless you do something stupid. But, that does not mean an individual working at some bar might not try to rip you off on that day. I have been to about every bar in this town and I can't say one of them is a rip off joint.
Second, remember when you here nobody is going to help you out but yourself. So, you need to avoid confrontation at all cost. If you see a large number of men drinking and speaking loudly you should probably avoid that place.
Third, the really only place you could have a problem in the tourist areas are the beaches themselves late at night when your drunk. You really don't want to walk on Pattaya beach back to your hotel with your new Thai girlfriend at 3 AM in the morning. It is very dark then and reports of theft there are quite frequent.
Fourth, overall I feel very safe in Pattaya. But, like any city you need to be cautious and avoid un-safe places. Such as walking down streets that are dark and deserted in the middle of the night when your drunk. If you use common sense and always but always stay around other people you will be fine. But, get drunk and open your mouth to the wrong person could turn into big problems you really don't want in Thailand.
Writing this I noticed how many times I used the word "DRUNK." I realize it is because that is the condition half the town is in most of the time.
Another thing I noticed writing this is that it is 8 PM and I am trying to decide if I want to go out or not. The BIG question is? Do I want to take the 15 minute bus ride from Jomtien into Pattaya?
Here people are traveling half the way around the world to get here, like I did on my first visit and now I am thinking if the 15 minute ride is worth it.
You really get so jaded when you live here as long as I have. Since, there is no other city else in the world like Pattaya, how am I ever going to live someplace else. I don't think I can.

After Tonys Disco on the left and the Simon Beer Bar complex on the right the next main landmark you will come to is Rolling Stone 2 music bar. Turn left up the soi before RS2 and there are a whole series of beer bars lining the soi. The further up you go the more the bars cater to the Arabs. Look out for the hookah pipes and the Arab music. The soi then enters Marine Plaza which the street signs and shops in Arabic will indicate you are in the right place. Warning! It is very noisy.

Yep, I was able to find the place after realizing yesterday that there's a whole stretch of beach (i.e. Jomtien) that I've never been to despite having visited Pattaya several times the past few years.

I have been to Red Point lots of times and as far back as a year the rate was 500 baht for the girl and 250 for the house. Now the going rate including Red Point is 700 Baht and 300 for the house. If you ask the rate is surely going up. At Red Point the girls are usually sitting outside, check them out, and then take the one you want inside for a chat or what. I never talk money and they assume I know the prices so I just give them 700 Baht. I usually buy them a drink also for myself to cool down and feel them out. Prior to taking them to the room the bar bill is usually 480 Baht for the room and drinks.
I seriously doubt that the girl even know what bleach is? In regards to sheets you're lucky if they change the sheets once a day. Look closely and you will see stains over stains but why ruin your high. Just go with the flow and make sure you get your shower after. I haven't been there in over 6 months because the last time I was there I didn't appreciate the attitude of the Mammasan.
On Soi 6, I personally wouldn't pay more than 700 Baht unless you are seeing a regular and she giving you beyond something of your expectation. Give Ruby's bar a try! they have a small front but inside the bar is pretty big and the rooms have mirrors on the ceiling. They have a few good looking girls just be patient while looking. Ruby's is just before Red Point also on the right as you past the big wooden massage parlor.

From the small glimpse I've seen today, I'd have to agree. I ended up in Pattaya this afternoon instead of Phuket after arriving at Bangkok airport (long story). Once I made the decision to go to Pattaya I jumped in a shiny new cab - the driver had walked over to me while I was looking for a bus, and asked me "Pattaya?" How the fuck did he know? ;) Do I look like a middle-aged desperado? Don't answer that.
1500 Baht for the cab - I didn't bargain - I wasted enough time already so I gave up on waiting for a bus. On the road, I called my first choice of hotels (Areca Lodge) using the cabbie's phone. They are fully booked the next few days!
So I called my second choice: Pattaya Bay Resort - they said they had only one room left, so I snapped it up fast - turns out it's a large well-appointed deluxe room for 1600. Clean and modern, *very* spacious, flat-screen TV, coffee-maker, and kitchenette. Excellent internet. And a bed big enough for four! The shower is hot and strong, just like my women. And did I mention the bed is big enough for four?
The advertised 'large pool' was a major draw for me. So as soon as I dropped my luggage in the room, I went upstairs to check the roof-top pool. I guess it's relatively large at 15 metres, but not large enough for lap-swimming. Besides, it was full of grinning middle-aged men splashing about with sweet young giggling things in skimpy bikinis. How inconsiderate!
Next stop - had to rush to my dental appointment I'd made from the cab. I showed Kim (the hotel's friendly American manager) the dentist's location on the map and asked him for directions. It looked pretty close on the map, but he said it wasn't walking distance. He explained the hotel's free tuk-tuk would take me out of the hotel's soi, then I could get a baht bus to the main road, then walk the rest of the way to the clinic. Too complicated for me, so I just walked from the hotel to the clinic - a whopping 10 minutes. (Doesn't anyone in Pattaya ever walk more than three minutes?)
I spent an hour in the dental clinic for a quote and initial treatment - the dentist is a 30ish trendy metrosexual (maybe gay) guy with long coiffed hair, earrings, multi-colored shoes, red jeans and scary blue contact lens - he looks like a psychadelic Thai vampire. I actually had second thoughts about letting him put things in my mouth when I first saw him, but it turns out he's a damn good dentist. Anyway, I'm glad to hear that you can call up for service, but as you mention, there are a TON of massage parlors in the neighborhood, all of which charge 200 THB for an hour foot massage or thai massage, but they all charge 300 THB for an hour oil massage. I've been to every one between the Nova Platinum and Pattaya South Road on 2nd road, and they all range from mediocre to excellent, depending on the girl you choose. I reported here that I noticed a new tactic on my last trip; the parlor would have a nice looking girl out front for bait, but when I went in, they would try to switch me to an old hag. It's their way of adjusting for the slow economy, and to share the income between all of the employees. But stand your ground, and choose the girl that appeals to you and enjoy. I always go for the 2 hour oil massage. Most of the places will charge you 500 THB for 2 hours instead of the posted 600.

No-one who lives in Pattaya seems to know the layout of the place. Every time I take a taxi or a scooter taxi they get lost. It's only 5 minutes from the hotel to the dental clinic if they get it right, but today a scooter taxi got completely lost and took me on a 45 minute ride all over Pattaya including along Beach Road before he finally found my hotel. This is despite me giving him a map (in Thai) with the hotel location. I really wasn't in the mood for a scenic tour after just spending three hours with my jaw clamped open and lots of injections and noisy drilling. I wanted to get back to my hotel room fast to chill out. Looking on the bright side, at least I got a cheap tour of Pattaya.
After doing some work last night, I walked outside at around 1:00am, and asked a cabbie for directions to Sabai Dee. He told me it wasn't walking distance, and that it closes at either 1:00am or 2:00am, so I gave up on the idea, and went to Walking Street instead, with Hottie's watch in my pocket. I strolled around Walking Street today in the afternoon. I only saw a few of Go Go bars open - Air Port Club, Hot Girls and Nui's Club. I went into the Nui's to check it out. I was watching a news report from the Thailand Tourist Bureau recently. They are actively promoting Thailand as a holiday destination in the UAE. They said people from there stay longer and spend more money than tourists from other countries.
I too have seen some rediculous prices in Pattaya. It's the Go Go's driving up the prices. One gorgeous Go Go girl with a perfect body asked for 4K LT plus the barfine! I laughed but she didn't. For whatever it is worth column. Just got back to Pattaya after going home for 1 month after being here for 3 months. My plane from US was almost empty. Usually carries 400+ had only 100 people. Town is dead. Have never seen such a lack of customers. Bar after bar sitting almost empty. Was on Walking Street other night. Few people. Went to the Rolling Stone 2 Bar there around 10 and half the girls or more were just sitting there with not a customer insight.

From what I am reading here, seems that now standart price for LT is 1500-2000 plus 700 Baht for bar.
Should I expect to pay that much for bar girls during my visit?

Whether it is a matter of thieves falling out or not, there is an interesting spat going on between these two go gos. Relevant is the above website. Note the financial figures. They are tiny, indicating perhaps that go gos are either a money making machine or a money losing machine.
One of the women working at Dolls One is an old flame of mine. I would like to meet her again but am not interested in the exorbitant bar fine and short/long term prices. It seems a big price to pay for a trip down memory road.
The Beach Road pricing model is also of interest. I have taken many women from there over the years. I invariably ask them how much money they have. A very large percentage of them have had 50 baht or less to their name and many have owed rent etc. Because I seldom go for the stunners and I avoid the low life, my impression is they live a very hand to mouth existence. The first price you mentioned is according to my experience in April this year. The second higher price correspend with what I experienced in go-go (depends on where you go of course)

I know some of you will point out my pronunciation as being wrong. What I have done is where there is a long sound used double letters and where words said kind of in a group just used - .Even Thais have a hard time understanding each other since Thai spoken in upper Thailand spoken softly while in lower Thailand is louder and quicker. There are even different levels of use from basic to version used whenever speaking about the monarchy. This is a very tonal language so very hard for us to relate to. Some interesting info:
1. If you go to leave tip and you leave on tray it goes to general fund for all the girls to split and end of night. If you hand the girl the tip directly she gets to keep 100%.
2. If you bar fine a girl she does get a cut of the bar fine unless you buy her a lady drink. So if you keep a girl for more than 1 night you will notice she always wants you to go with her to pay fine and wants a drink so she gets her cut.
3. Most girls are on salary at bar, but not all, making around 2500B per month. Pretty easy to pick out during shift change since they are always on time. If you notice girls arriving later they are not on salary but freelancers that are working out of that particular bar. They are usually the better looking girls. They can come and go as they please. They mostly only work at that 1 bar and you still have to bar fine them and pay lady drink prices for their drinks. They just do not want to be bothered arriving early and having to stay until closing for about 90B per day. Most of the smaller beer bars will have between 2-4 of them.
4. If you hook up with a girl for a longer time you can get her to leave bar for a couple of weeks for a set price per week and no bar fines.
5. More and more I see the new girls quickly snatched up by the ex-pats. Fresh meat arrives sweet and innocent and quickly taken away and you are left with the girls that know all the tricks.
6. Never ever trust a beer bar girl when it comes to money and love. They see falang as someone who comes here and to quote them “loves and leaves”. They are never ever going to believe all the BS that is dumped on them. They have heard the same lines and promises a hundred times. They will all smile and agree that they will also wait patiently for your return but they know that is not to be.
7. The girls prefer the older man. They complain the younger men only want to fuck all night while the older man is good for maybe 1 quick pop before he passes out. They also realize the older man probably has more money to spend and easier to manipulate since he is lonely looking for love.
8. Everyone talks about price of the girl. Where the price of bar fine is usually fixed price for girl can vary widely. You have to keep in mind that most share a miserable room with 2-3 other girls with no aircon or shower. I have had more than 1 offer to go home with me for free if I pay bar fine. At least they are making part of par fine and not having to stand around all night plus getting you to pop for a meal.
9. Lady drinks are a total rip off. Cost to you is maybe 120B and she gets maybe 20B or so. Wait for food vendor to come buy and for around 20-30B buy them some food. It is appreciated more and they usually share with a couple other girls so everyone wins. I was at beer bar today on beach just relaxing. Girl wanted drink so told her why - it cost me 120B you get 20B. I can buy 2 beers for that price. Was laughing when I told her so she started laughing also since she realized it is a scam. After awhile food vendor came by and bought her a bunch of fruit for 25B. She was happy sharing with her friends and they all came by and thanked me. Now will go by today again and all with remember me for my goodwill.
10. Never bother bar fining girls from go go bars. Just not cost effective and satisfaction on lower end. Figure bar fine 600B and may be 1,500-2,000 or more for her plus drinks. Heck you can easily get 4 beach girls for that price or 2 beer bar girls. There is some advantage getting bar girl over beach girls since you are somewhat paying for a little insurance from being robbed and health card. There are however some great buys on the beach. If you really must have one of them check to see if they have short time room at location and try and work a deal. They are happy since they know you are only going to take up maybe at most 1 hour of time and they are back out again looking for new customer.
11. If you are looking for something in particular for your fantasy agree to what you want before you take her. Do not take to room and make request then and be disappointed when she does not want to provide.

Just now trying a new hotel for first time Eurotel Service Apartments. Owned by extremely sweet Thai lady and here son Ray. Son was raised in England so speaks fluent English with English accent. Rooms are running about 750B per night or 12,000B for month. So if you are staying for a month you save about 10,000B so just about covers cost of 1 week of bar fines and ladies. Request room on front since back end is next to beer bars located on 2nd Street. They are almost at corner of Central and 2nd St next to Pattaya Memorial Hospital. Phone number (66) 038-720856 Great thing is they are right next to a group of beer bars so easy to slide around corner to visit. The 2nd and 3rd beer bar from right have a good drink special from 9:30 PM until 11:30 PM. 2-for-1 on all drinks and beers with a fairly descent band playing from about 9PM until after 12. The lady at the 3rd from right pours one hell of a long pour. You get your money worth. Always remember my cardinal rule never bar fine girl next to where you are staying. Unfortunately hotel does not have a web site but if you PM me I will be happy to provide their email address since we are not supposed to post of site so not providing now. Also they will do all your personal laundry for 1 month for flat fee of 1,000B. Rooms cleaned daily.

Been meaning to post info since my last 3 month trip to Pattaya. Sure is good to get back here again. If you have read most of my previous posts they are mostly info orientated since just have never been a be teller of stories. Lets face it if you can not get laid here something is wrong with you. But not 100% safe: While reading the paper in Pattaya I read many stories of westerners being targeted by Thai muggers on a daily basis, including home-invasions and daylight muggings and murders. Recently a grandmother was tied up and badly beaten by a group of ladyboys who broke into her son's apartment to steal small money.
About a year ago two Russian women were relaxing on Jomtein Beach - a Thai guy wanted to rob them quietly from behind. They saw him, so he shot them dead (now he is also dead - he was sentenced to death).
I felt safe in Pattaya, but obviously you need to take care, just like anywhere.

It depends on the service the waitress provides. If she constantly nagging me about selecting a girl to sit with me or asking me to buy more drinks or won't stop with trying to massage my neck and hands then she gets nothing. I'm not very good on distants "100M" but based on your post, going down Soi Buakhaow from as far back as the Siam Sawadee Hotel on the right hand side to Central Pattaya Road there are no massage places big or small. Right after the R-Con Residence Hotel across the another Soi, there is a small massage place that when I went by had a big old lady sitting outside there was no name of the place as far as I can see in English. Two or three shops down was another place called Jeans Massage, there was a girl sitting outside on one of those Thai cement table and chair, inside were 3 girls praying to start their day.
From that point on down Soi Buakhaow to Central Pattaya Road, on the right there are NO other massage places! Personally if a place is located on that Soi, the % of getting a H.J. increases but I think the girl will have to like you some before it happens unless the whole shop is dedicated to this practice.
So your choices have been narrow down to 2 places, it's either Jeans Massage or the big old lady, maybe who you saw was her daughter? Nevertheless, 200 baht a hour for a Thai Massage is not within my budget since the place I go to get the best damn legit Thai massage weekly is 200 baht for 2 hours.

If the shop owner has properly trained paper she most likely has the credential to be a hairdresser and manicures. Some shop owners if they can't afford to have staff on hand usually contract the work out on a commission bases. Some shop owners are also former P4P that either have hooked up with a Farang or save their money to learn a trade and then open a shop. Personally it is highly unlikely that she would do massages and be a hairdresser at the same time. Also, getting a HJ, in her shop would be unlikely in my opinion.

If you are not familar with Pattaya and you are staying inside of Pattaya the location will most likely be too far for you.
The place I visit is on the otherside of Sukhumvit. If you go up to the end of Central Pattaya Road to Sukhumvit on the left you will see a bridge linking you to the otherside of Sukhumvit. Near the 7/11 there is a Soi called Soi Nern Plabwan Road. Go down this Soi, across bridge and past the outdoor market another mile down look for a purple sign Sumo Massage on the left.
If that is too far give this place a try. It has a fish bowl so it's going to be somewhat of a crabshoot. But recently I tried 93, she wasn't bad but the place has a specific style that the girls follow. Can't give you the name since it is all in Thai but you should be able to locate it.
Just off Central Pattaya Rd. and 3rd Rd. across from the TOT building go up Central Pattaya Rd. on the left hand side, same as Carrefour. You will see a large bright green building with smoke glass door. Don't be afraid just go in and the fish bowl is on the right and the mamasan should be right there. Two hour massage is 280 baht and for a two hour massage I usually give them a tip of 100 baht because it's hard work.

Superbaby and Supergirl have, in my opinion, THE best looking girls on average in the whole of Pattaya. They cater for the Japanese who like the doll like, cute looks and big tits. A couple of the bars on walking street have for rent signs up and the Russians are talking over. Most of the places have signs in Russian and I am assuming Russian owners now. ( the Russian mob need a place to stash their toot).
The girls are the same as always, most have darker skin and are from issan. Nothing have change about that.
I went to Koh Lanh, and notice a middle age white guy with balding head speaking English with to a darker skin Thai girl. She did not have a clue what he was talking about , but seem to enjoy the clear water of the island.
Less pesky little kids running around late at night on Walking st. The police decided to crack down on them after getting numerous complaints from tourists about being hassled. It turned out that most of the kids are not Thai, but from neighboring countries.
Fresh seafood can be had from vendors at the end of Walking St opposite the Pier for Koh Lanh. We got 1kg of fresh crab for 200B and pay 30B to have them cook it for us. Prawns can be had for 120B for a kg, lot less than 90B per 100g less than 100ft away. ( this is where the beach side vendors get their seafood) As you can see the mark up is 900%.
We stayed at Mike's Hotel. Older hotel, but the room where clean. 2 beds for 900B per night and 20 ft from the main entrance of walking street.
Central Plaza has a huge shopping mall facing the beach within walking distance to Walking st. I saw many guys bring their telaks ( thai for sweetheart) for a little browsing. And maybe catch a movie ( English with Thai subtitles or Thai with English subs available.)
There's a local thai market directly opposite the back entrance of Central. This is where you can find some deals.
Over all a good trip.
My advice
1. Stay near walking st.
2. Avoid empty "taxi" trucks, they will try to over charge you. ALWAYS ask first how much if you unsure.
3. Avoid eating on Walking St. Quite expensive.
4. Go to Koh Lanh. The water is crystal clear. (Go to the Pier located at the end of Walking St. 20B per person) (leave every hr starting at 8am, last return trip at 6pm)

its been a while since i spent any time in pattaya. so much has changed and nothing has changed. i stayed on soi 8 at the eastiny plaza hotel…. if you book the eastiny make sure you get the new one ½ way up the block. the first one coming from the beach across from flipper lodge is a dump with lousy rooms. this is the one that has the big restaurant advertising all you can eat buffet for around 200 baht.
i arrived late in the evening and walked up to the gogo bar (sexy girl?) on soi 8. there was nothing special about it but one girl nok came to sit with me and we hit it off. it was her first day at that bar (after working i found out later in soi cowboy for a year) and she was quiet and sweet. she left in the next late morning and i told her i would come by that night again. --- yeah right.

Having read about Pattaya for years, I finally decided, during my recent trip to Bangkok, to go and see for myself. I was staying at Giotto's place, and he kindly arranged a private car (B1,500), which was new, clean, and efficient to take me there. I booked a room online, at the Nova Platinum Hotel, on the recommendation of Piper 1, and got a rate of something less than B1,500 a night. The hotel was terrific: large plasma TV in the room, nicely furnished, and strictly no hassles.
For me, the hotel was the best thing about the place as I found Pattaya to be, in general, a hole. First, it probably had the largest assemblage of unattractive, worn, Thai women I've ever seen in any single location. Second, most of the foreign tourists looked like they crept out of the woodwork of the Norman Bates motel: a truly motley collection of farangs and Thais.
I did rent a small motor bike, which was sort of fun, and I did explore most of the tourist sports of the city, but I have to confess, I do not understand the attraction, and I doubt that I will ever return. I hit Walking St., Beach Road, most of the Sois, and could find no redeeming qualities of the areas at all. Unless your idea of fun is watching a bunch of rowdy Australians, in old shorts and tee shirts getting drunk at 10 in the morning, I fail to see the attraction. Had I not prepaid for two nights, I would have returned to the more civilized atmosphere of Bangkok and Giotto's establishment after a single night. As it is, I'm sorry I wasted my time.

GEI feel the same way. In three paragraphs, you have summed up my thoughts about Pattaya.
I have been to Pattaya 4 times and have only bar fined a girl once (my first trip). The only reason why I go back is to go swimming in Koh Larn, which has one of the prettiest beaches around and is close to BKK.
The only down side is all of the tour companies dump their guest their mid day, I would recommend going after 2pm.
As far as the girls are concern. If you like them darker, older, and uglier than be my guest. I would say out of 100 girls, there are 2 decent looking ones and 1 hot one. Go out early otherwise these few will have been taken.
FYI: If you living here, the Thais look down on darker skin girls. So you will not impress anyone at work if you show up with a black Thai girl, which is what I see a lot of in Pattaya. If you don't believe me or need to confirm my statement, just turn the TV on. Do you see any black Thai girls on the tube?

Planning a 2 day visit to Pattaya, this month.
2 days/nights at the Hard Rock.
I've been to Pattaya 20 times, but it's been 3 years since my last visit. Though I've been living in Northern Thailand for the past 8 months.
I know the go-go bars that open at 2PM, and Soi 6 options.
Since I'm traveling with my TGF and my buddy is also, looking at current go-go bars with in house S/T rooms.....hopefully those that open early (2PM-6PM) and have a good selection.

Try Oasis go go on Soi Buckhoaw at the top of Soi Diana. Opens about 3pm.

Frankly, I've always thought of Bangkok as pretty much a shit hole, too, not that much better than Pattaya, just a much bigger hole with a lot more shit in it.
