I'm used to going to high-end full-service oily massage shops in Bangkok like Addict and Club 102. By high-end I mean that the rooms are actually very nice, and they have a large selection of young hotties from noon onwards. I have written many reports on these two shops. Is there anything comparable to them in Pattaya? I think not, but it never hurts to double-check with better-informed people.It's hard for me to understand guys who focus so much on the building and the room, rather than on the lady. I think the ladies in Pattaya come from a different part of Thailand than the ladies in Bangkok. Pattaya ladies are mostly from Isaan. They have a different complexion and different look. I like their looks and their natural boobs. They are less likely to have boob-jobs done. Which I like. I'd rather have small natural boobs, than big silicone boobs.

The only way to know whether you will like the ladies and the places there is to go there and check them out for yourself.

The only thing I don't like about Pattaya is that their business is less transparent. You don't really know what the ladies are offering, unless you ask. And some of their bigger places, such as Sabai Room and Sabai Dee, don't even have websites where you can check out the ladies.

When I find a hot chick, and I'm with her for the first time, then I need two shots with her. One time is not enough. And my impression is that ladies in Pattaya offer this kind of thing less than in Bangkok. I can't say this for sure. But I haven't had Pattaya ladies offer me to have a second go with them. It's something you need to ask the lady for, and her answer is never sure. Lack of transparency means that there is less competition. Ladies often don't know what other ladies are doing with their guys. Which means that your experience can vary a lot from one lady to another.

Soapies used to be high end but are now just places for Indian tour groups. And the girls who work there are super mercenary and clinical (most times). Heck, in Pattaya, you're lucky if the massage shop even has a private room, let alone if its high-end. I'd say you hit jackpot if you can find a really cute girl and shag her in a private (and clean) room. I've certainly found more cute girls than clean rooms in massage shops, that's for sure. Usually, it's all about bar-fining them back to your hotel. They like it usually as they (eventually) relax and unwind, especially on repeat visits. My advice, go hunting, find the cutest girl, get a massage and let her do her teasing or whatever. When she asks what you want (eg: FS / etc), offer to BF her, maybe take her to dinner or drinks first (really helps to get them relaxed and comfortable as they may not be used to barfining much), then continue the massage back at your hotel, where it's clean and you'll likely get more mileage too.

It depends on the bar. I did two STs at Red Point. But I know you can't use the upstairs at Night-Wish. They use an ST hotel nearby.

Not sure about the other bars as I did not see anyone anywhere else that I really wanted to take upstairs last trip.

A couple of lookers at Red Point this trip. Me and Illusionheart definitely indulged.Yes, was at Nightwish last weekend and had to go to a hotel nearby for the ST.

The room was 400 baht, but don't think I got charged with a BF.

However was at Goodfellas the day after and the girl said upstairs are OK to go there.

Every baht counts. Entire economies (at least ones the books), can be counted down to the last penny. Second, Pattaya / Bangkok get a lot of punters coming in from online forums (not so much this one). There are many punters who use reports to determine if their next trip is worth it or not, that is if they don't already have friends who go there regularly to ask. When people were saying how awesome Pattaya was because you could get a new hot 20 year old GF every night, all night, for $40, it certainly generated some hype and got people packing their bags. My bad then. I assumed you were opposed to soapies since you mentioned you wanted oilies. Others have already mentioned the soapies. At Central Marina, there are Honey 2, Sabai Dee, Sabai Resort, and Rasputin. On Soi Honey off 2nd Road, there is Honey 1. Fairly close to Honey 1 there is PP Massage on Soi 21. Prime time is 6-9 pm. I guess 5 pm is doable. After 9 pm, the guys start coming. Don't worry about the East Indians. Usually only 1 person in the group of 20 takes a girl. Don't expect anything close to a GFE at a soapie. I personally find them very mechanical. All the girls have the same routine. It's fun the first time though. Choose wisely.

It's good to see that Lucifer is in play for pick ups. They did a really nice job renovating that club. Nice and spacious an not too smokey (something a lot of girls complain about with 808).

I was there 2 X a couple of weeks ago during my last trip. First time it was super packed because of some event and I was with one of my regulars, so did not have a chance to take a goo look at the offerings. Second time me and Illusionheart cruised through there but did not find anything that appealed to us so we ended up at Ibar.

It would be nice to have a good alternative to Ibar / Insomnia. Lucifer is still way behind Ibar as far as talent goes. It will take some time to build up the clientele in the meantime. A lot of the girls are regulars at Ibar because they are tied to promotions and points, etc. Hopefully over time Lucifer will be able to attract some of them with their promotions and to get some of the new girls coming to town.

In any case its good to have alternatives, especially on nights when Ibar is too busy and Lucifer can catch the spillover.

First thing first, in Pattaya, No racist attitude towards Indians (I never faced). Racism is for cheap charlies and for rude people. If you are nice in behavior, have lot of money and actually spend it, pattaya is great. Nothing against Indians as such. Its simple truth that some girls are into Indian men and some are not. This is true for any Nationality. We can't term it racism.

I almost checked all my to-do list.

Very True. Even I had visited Pattaya last May and never faced any sort of problem. In fact Thai people are helpful and humble. Only people with cheap motive will face problems which cannot be termed as racism.

The best part in pattaya is the freelancers. I loved visiting Nasha bar full of CIS babes. Even Insomnia is great. Yes even as per my opinion the massage parlors are only wort visiting once.

Yes. Pattaya is filled with CIS babes (Russian, Uzbek, Kazak etc). There are certain Russian GoGo bars on walking street, but way expensive. Best place to meet CIS babes is Nasha bar. If you are visiting pattaya then this place is highly recommended.

Reports here of mechanical service at the soapies is hardly exaggerated; that was my experience too. I had made quick passes through Sabaidee, Sabai Room and Honey 2. Early evenings are the best for talent, and Sabaidee had some stunners in the model category around 7 pm, but I took a pass as I planned merely to search for future talent, but dinner and the agogos were in the plan that evening. I would state that the soapies tend to employ girls I would say fit into the "zaftig" category, at least in terms of my preference, and with lots of silicone.

I did visit Honey 2 about 2 pm, the talent was thin, and I chose V088, On from Isaan. She was in the "VIP" group, and at 3200 baht, hardly a bargain. I tried to be playful with her, but her attention seemed geared toward the cleanliness of the room, before the deed and after (not a bad thing before, I suppose, considering what goes on with the inflatable). Not sure if I was her first customer, that week or ever, as she spent a few minutes unpacking the accoutrements in her kit, as if she was inventory manager of a fucking Boots Pharmacy. Ticked off the positions, but DATY and kissing on the lips were no-gos. That is not atypical of these places, and among the reasons why I will focus on other punting venues in the future. (I presume they incur fines if the rooms are left in too much disarray.).

After the deed I strolled along Soi 6, and enjoyed chatting with Moz at Pussy Club. The easiest way for me to get better service is to be a little bit extra generous and being friendly from the get go. Every single weekend at clubs and bars during my long stint in the US, I received terrible service from bartenders when ordering a drink simply because of getting little to no tips from fellow countrymen. So usually the way to beat this is to not open a tab and rather pay for first drink with cash and a generous tip. That makes a day and night difference in their attitude. Then I open a tab and in a packed club all it takes is a wink to get their attention and a drink in no time rather than begging for their attention. Of course you can't act like a jerk and obviously in such a situation your money gets less goodwill so as to speak.

Arrived Wednesday night for my third Pattaya trip. Initial observations are that it is indeed low season, crowds are small. The biggest thing I noticed right away is the evolution of Walking Street. Costs 120 baht on the meter. Non metered taxis will want 220 baht minimum. Takes about 20 minutes and is over 10 km distance. There may be a bus from DMK to Mo Chit, but you may have to wait for it, so easier in the taxi and not worth stuffing around for 120 baht. Bus from Mo Chit fairly regularly to the Northern Bus Station in Pattaya. Costs 117 baht, and takes about 2 hrs and 20 minutes.

For staying in Pattaya, I prefer the area near the Soi Diana and Soi Buakhao intersection.

The goofs manning the "taxi stands" outside the "taxi" gate at DMK will quote 1800 to 2000. Pass them by and negotiate outside. I suspect it would be possible to get as low as 1300, but doubtful any lower. (I paid, as I recall, 1200, from Sukhumvit, which is slightly shorter to Pattaya a couple months earlier.) Ya know, before fighting over 10 to 20 USD, I'd rather just be on my way, and expend energies on finding the right girl, rather than the right ride.

I will try my best to explain my preferences. Once we get to the point of being able to pick from 100's of universally attractive women I think that what is "quality" then becomes rather subjective.

Pattaya ladies feel more like real ladies, while the FKK girls feel like strippers. I think in both environments you will find great girls. I happen to prefer Pattaya at the moment. In Germany there are several large FKK clubs, within 100 kms of each other, I feel Pattaya has a similar number of girls, in one street. Nowhere in Germany can you find the volume and quality of women as available on walking street. Some of these ladies on walking street are legitimately in their very early 20's. And at the end of it I feel like a king more relaxed than I have been in 20 years.

Yes I agree completely. Like BB says in his post below, my experiences with the Thai girls are more real. You get to take them home and spend as much time with them as you want for a fraction of the price.

You point out what has always been my single important reason for mongering in Thailand and Philippines; the sweetness and playfulness you experience from the girls is not matched anywhere in the world. In summary, Pattaya is all in your face as soon as you arrive. Beer bars, walking street, discos, massage shops, go go bars, cart bars, BR freelancers and so on. The sheer number of ladies working in Pattaya is unbelievable. On the other hand, there are many normal girls and older girls working there. It takes a more concerted effort to find those beautiful stunners. Pattaya can be more relaxing and laid back unless it's high season and then girls are more direct. Pricing can be cheap depending on who and where. Service and millege from the ladies is easier because of the sheer competition and number of ladies, your likely to get more millege such as A+ and BBFS.

As for Bangkok, there are only 3 main areas for the gogo bars. Freelancers are spread all over Sukhumvit in the discos and the massage shops are in designated areas. In my opinion, the girls in Bangkok are way better looking and the pricing reflects that.
For me, I like to delve into the local scene and Bangkok has a few areas where the scene is quite good such as Saphan Kwai for go go bars and Ratchada for massage. Where in Pattaya, the local scene has been eaten up by the tourism sex scene. Service and millege in Bangkok will depend more on YMMV and the amount of money you pay the lady. Things like A+ and BBFS can still be had but you will pay more one way or another. Either by wining and dining them or just a flat out payment of a higher rate.

At the end of the day, I prefer Bangkok over Pattaya for the sheer quality of the ladies. I will occasionally take an overnight to Pattaya to enjoy the cheap western food at 169 Baht for a full course roast beef dinner and a night out on walking street. Hope that helps.

The first time I came back in Thailand after the year 2000 was in 2009 and discos in Pattaya were still full of very cute or pretty girls. Back then I was giving only 500 baht for the cute ones in Insomnia (same price than in the early 2000's in the Marine 2 disco). If a girl wanted more than that, I was never asked more than 1500 baht. I came back twice a year for 1 month each in Pattaya and I can swear that it was getting more and more difficult to spot cute girls each time in discos. I personally saw the place decline from 2009 to 2012. When going to Thailand I always liked the freedom of going where I wanted, and where the mood takes me. Stick with your 2 nights in Bangkok and then hit Pattaya either way you will enjoy it for sure. Post your travel dates on the forum and meet up with a few people! There is a number of cheap taxi options to get from Bangkok & Pattaya and does not take to much time.

Most of all enjoy it as it's a beautiful country, and you will leave thinking of how you can get back there again. Try not to fall in love!

Now I did a stupid mistake again which is I couldn't remember what the arrival gate number 3 means. I managed to stupidly waste 15 minutes trying to find my driver. In doing so I went from all the way left to right a couple of times. But finally I found my driver holding my name card. Phew!

Something funny happened when I got into the car. The driver's partner (or wife I guess) was in the front seat wearing an all black burqa. Now the car was inside the not so well lit car park and I've got to be honest with myself I nearly screamed out of fear as I just happened to see her when I just got in the back seat.

The drive to Pattaya was alright, he clocked 120 km / h most of the time so we were here around 1 and a half hours as I remember (or may be a tad more).

LK Metropole.

Last time I chose LK Renaissance. I liked the location very much so this time I thought of going with LK Metropole as it's closer to LK Metro. A 56 sqm room was around 56 USD per night. This is a bit more expensive that LK Renaissance. Now after coming into the room, I have to mention that I am not too happy. The room is very spacious, but all the things seem to be quite dated. For example the switch boards feel like they are about to fall off. A part of a tile is missing in the bathroom and the bathtub also seem to be quite old.

So my recommendation is if you are planning to stay here, maybe reconsider your options and see if there's something better for your money.

But for anyone who's going to chose LK Metropole, I've got a small life pro tip for you. If you are the sort of person like me who prefers the bum gun when one is available, make sure that you don't push the handle all the way down while pointing the water stream directly at your asshole. You are guaranteed to fuck your own ass with an extremely high pressured jet of water and believe me it's not the most pleasant surprise.

I've only had 2 hours of sleep last night. I knew that wouldn't be able to stay up for a long time. Sorted out the clothes and went to 7/11 for some beers toiletries and etc. On the way back bought a prawn pad thai from a street vendor. Back in the room had a shower and a shave.
