I have found when taking a girl for ST from a barfine/Lady Drink type venue like a go-go bar or a beer bar at a given time of the evening, it is worth taking into account her bar's closing time and factor that into how it can influence the value and quality of my experience with her:
Assuming her bar closes at 2 AM in these examples, but if it closes at a different time, adjust up or down accordingly:
1) Taking the girl for ST in the 9 PM hour offers the best actual sex, not "best" based on you or her being shitfaced drunk and not knowing the difference between good, bad or no sex at all. She is also in no hurry since there will be plenty of time for her to return to the bar and have a shot at a second barfine.
2) Taking the girl for ST in the 10 PM hour raises the chance of her rushing you through the process. Look for how often the girls you take in that hour have no interest in stopping for a drink in another bar where her "cousin" works, having a bit of food first, languishing about your room to enjoy the ambiance before getting into action and so on. That is because if she can get this ST over within 2 hours max she'll have a full two hours left, the final two hours, back in her bar to score another customer. 3) The 11 PM hour is anybody's guess. She might think she can rush you through the ST at lightning speed and be back to her bar before Midnight for that shot at her second customer. 5) Taking the girl during the last hour before the bar closes, in this example the 1 AM hour, is a bit foolish if you're going to be buying Lady Drinks and paying barfines, imo. Oh the Pattaya / Thailand withdrawals are real! Fortunately, I took some good videos to perk me up, but they only go so far. Got a handful of line ids but you guys know how those conversations go- there's only so many "I miss you!" and "How are you" before you're over it. I didn't really talk money but I just looked at my spends. To be expected, fun had a direct relationship with spending. My budgeted spend per day was $200, it worked the first 2 days, but then doubled on my last planned day there as I wanted to do as much as possible. The impulse "hot route" return came in $700. Veterans can shake their heads here, I know it was reckless buying all the drinks and whatnot, but I guess we just like to have fun. Wherever you are in the world when you are having fun the girls can sense it and will want in. IMHO. Honestly, I am a pretty frugal person at home, but my buddy and I were talking and shit who knows the next time we will be here, healthy, and ready to go! It really is only money and you can't take it with you. Thinking of that 15 HR flight makes me want to throw up! I used to fancy providers in the US but we are talking 3-500 dollars per hour! Rob, I think the pivot is a solid move. I get a bit ocd at times and overplan, but no day ever followed suit, if anything it was the complete opposite. Time flies when you're on the ground there so just manage it as effectively as possible. I love the 10 baht buses for example, but sitting in traffic repeatedly is killer. You got the negatives and it is for a good reason. You can take those warning and play a game and go as far as you can and bail, consider yourself lucky if you can some can't. Visiting is one thing can be intoxicating but I was told once by a very experience and wise person " the more entrenched you become with the culture the more you will start to hate the place. It take a special person to visit and live here and there are many on this board without being entrenched.
What you see isn't what you will get now if you are a chance taker and like punishment I say go for it, you only live once!

Day 2. I visited 3 gogos. Windmill, Annabelle and Bliss.
Seems windmill is so far my go to place. Is there anything better? Tonight I meet up with 2 fellow ISG members. Hoping to his the two different dolls. Dollhouse and living dolls? Tonight was one of the worst Walking Street gogo bar hopping nights I have had in 2. 5 years. Not sure if it's a Japanese or Korean holiday but tons of girls were barfined and barfined early at that. By 10:30 pm I was going in and out of numerous bars (excluding my usual Baccara and Sensations) with very few girls. Saturdays are usually bad anyways but tonight was horrible. I did manage to meet a nice new girl at What's Up. 215 baht lady drinks for those counting their bahts.
I can't wait til low season.

Need to have the girls rotate around the stages since it's difficult for customers to see all 3 stages. The sound system is likely the best I have heard in a Pattaya gogo bar. Music is great. Typical gogo music. Most girls weren't great but there are definitely 2 or 3 petite ones who were drink worthy. Anyone hot was busy. More of the traditional Thai look girls with no nose jobs. Customers appeared to be around 30 years younger on average than at Windmill. I will return. Lineup comparable to a bar like D Club. D Club seems a bit wilder though.
Best looking girl I saw tonight was at Lighthouse. Yes, I couldn't believe it either. She was busy so I couldn't talk to her. I think she may have worked at Bad Girls before.

I am heading to Pattaya for 5 days in a little over a month from now. I'll be there the first week of March. This will be my 4th trip to Thailand and 2nd trip to Pattaya but sadly my last visit to Pattaya was back in 2006. I guess better late getting back than never. My last visit was alright but I know it could have been a lot better so my intentions this time is to make it better than the last by tenfold. I've been RTFF for ages it seems like; I had been RTFF even before my 2006 trip (first year visiting Thailand) to Bangkok and Pattaya by at least several years. Being a low-key, flying under the radar kind of guy I have been just a lurker on these boards but I have to say I have enjoyed the banter and varying points of view expressed by the members on here. I figured I would make my intro and get in on some of the banter and points of view that go on so I can quit lurking and be a contributor.
I am scheduled to arrive at BKK around noon on Friday so my plans are to hop the bus from the airport to Pattaya, kick back and enjoy the ride into town. I could have scheduled a car or take a taxi but there's something about just taking buses, trains, etc. When in foreign countries that I just like doing. I have 5 nights booked at LK Metro Hotel. I found a good deal for about $50 bucks a night with breakfast (important to me) and jumped on it since it's close to Areca Lodge, where I stayed before, and thus gives me a good point of reference from my visit eons ago. In doing my research, I also see that it's close to LK Metro and I really want to check this area out as I remember walking through that L-shaped stretch back in 2006 when the area was in pre-infancy. I remember there was a handful of what looked like massage joints and absolutely no gogos. There was nobody walking through there either, it looked pretty drab. I am really excited to see what it is like now, up close and personal, and not what I see when I stroll through there on Google Earth.
As for my 5 nights in Pattaya, I plan on also hitting up the infamous Soi 6, Walking Street, BR, and the Soi's in between. It was Halloween night 2006 when I was there and I made one pass straight down Walking Street, not going into any bars and ended up at some pier, or something like that, down at the very end. I had planned on going back up and checking out some gogos but ended up chatting up this freelancer at the pier and next thing I know we are on a baht bus and heading back to Areca Lodge. We ended up staying the remainder of the night at my room doing the deed. So, that was the extent of my Walking Street experience. This time my game plan is to take in Walking Street in all its glory. I hope the plans don't get changed this time but I have allotted myself more time in Pattaya this time.
I definitely plan on checking out 808 club, Flexx club, and Insomnia. I am a Hip-Hop head so 808 and Flexx sound like some clubs I will like and put me in the mood of being in the Hip Hop clubs I like and have frequented here in the States. I don't know the format of Insomnia but as long as it's Hip-Hop, EDM, or an EDM / Hip Hop mix as they like to do these days, then I am in my element. I know I will like that aspect of going on the hunt in those clubs as, in my mind, it still will be easier sealing the deal with the freelancers there than it is working the clubs here in the States. Cheaper too.
I don't know how I will feel about Agogos but I am going to give them a try. I have spent a lot of time over the years going to the hardcore, raunchy Strip clubs that you find in the Southern parts of the USA so I don't know how much the Agogo girls here will impress me but you never know until you give them a try. In RTFF and doing research, it looks like Windmill is a place I will definitely stop into. I also see the same owners have Sugarbaby and Anabelle's (I think that's the name) so they may be worth a visit too. Sapphire sounds like another place worth at least taking a peek into. Any other suggestions will be appreciated. I like the kind of places where the girls are friendly and will let your hands roam all over (think Hong Kong club in Tijuana, Mexico for those that have been). I have set aside $1000 USD as my straight ST / LT, barfine, LD, tip budget so I am hoping that will allow me to enjoy myself thoroughly. Then again, I would not have that reserve if I didn't think there was a possibility of dipping into it. We shall see.

Just because you can afford something doesn't mean you have to blow money on it and do it. When I was just a tourist I had no problem spending 10,000+ baht per day since I knew it was only going to be for a week or 2. Now that I live here I work hard to keep my daily expenses a fraction of that amount. It can easily get out of hand. Only a handful of Japanese / Korean spend a ton of money throwing ping pong balls and 20 baht bills while sitting with 4 girls and buying all wait staff drinks. These are the guys who are noticeable. I know I will like that aspect of going on the hunt in those clubs as, in my mind, it still will be easier sealing the deal with the freelancers there than it is working the clubs here in the States. I don't know how I will feel about Agogos but I am going to give them a try. LK Metropole is literally steps to LK Metro. There is a short cut from the hotel lot into LK Metro. you don't have to walk out to Soi Diana.

The global economy, cheaper air fares, and supply of Hotel rooms, apartments etc brings more guys here for 5 days or less for a cost of maybe $700 for air fare and hotel / incidentals. Maybe these guys budget say another $500 for drinks and girls.
This very same global economy and the internet options have reduced the supply of quality girls in Pattaya.
Unfortunately for them girls under 25 who are 6. 5 and above at a go go means drinks, bar fine and a ST go go girl 6. 5-7. 5 is 1,000 (drinks), 1000-1500 bar fine and 4,000 for the girl. LT total cost is 8-9 K.
After 3 days, these guys have only their day 4 and 5 left and a total sunk cost of close to $800-$1000 for their entire trip. So, on day 4 and 5 most of these guys have their backs against the wall. Pay up or go home with a 5 or under or over 35 yo from a beer bar for a total cost of 3. 5 k.
What does this MEAN IN TERMS OF NUMBERS?
If the 5 day average trip for guys coming here is correct then on any given day about 40 PERCENT of ALL the guys visiting here are on their day 4 or 5 with 48 hours or less behore they have to leave.
So, with 40 pc of visiting guys with their backs against the wall on a given day and the total sunk cost of their trip (due to demand being much greater than supply) go go prices are increasing rapidly.
Guys are flocking to the discos but many of these guys who seem confident in a go go bar don't seem to have the courage to propose to a girl. Or they don’t have any game . They just clam up. And both the quantity and quality of girls at the discos are also way down. So, lots of frustrated guys in general and on this board. Things are definitely a lot more challenging folks.

Asians tend to spend more when they drink and smoke, IMO, because it's also a socially liberating venue for them.
Asians do not have Mexico, Central America or South America close to them. So, they mostly prefer to stay in Asia whereas Americans are coming here and also in the other geographic regions.
Finally, there are some people who have $ but keep it quiet and are happy to see others part with their money and quietly smile on the inside knowing they could easily spend two or three times more than many of the Asians in Pattaya, and not care,! But are simply not going to do that here.
So, I think you are comparing apples to oranges. Just like the Russians who come to Pattaya are not the rich Russians, or even upper middle class Russians. I see very very few upper middle class Americans here. Mostly young guys with limited $ and net worth. A very large number of the Americans I know can drop $25 K in a month but simply are not going to. Why? Because over 95 pc of the girls in Pattaya simply are not in that class.

The first one is (in-) famous Devils Den. I actually had quite low expectations as a lot of reviews I've read were not that great, but I had time to kill before my flight, I already checked out of the hotel and I didn't want to bother with bars and ST rooms, so went to DD.
It actually exceeded my (low) expectations! I've found the papasan guy to be really helpful and courteous, he explained everything well and he was also clear there is no pressure to select the girls if I don't like any. I ended up picking Vicky and Bee who seemed to be the best options in the lineup. The looks are probably on the level of BKK PSE oilies.
The room was a bit of let down, just a cramped room with a double bed, even the swing thing wasn't there. But its ok, doesn't really matter but I think the place would really benefit from redecorating the room in more of the sexy devil style, doesn't cost much and would make a difference to the mood.
The process I found overall to be really nice. Surprisingly nice actually. Vicky spoke pretty decent English (Bee didn't), and overall Vicky was a good choice with good BJ skills and better looks once the clothes were off (Bee wasn't). Now as you know I'm no brain surgeon and we all post here based on our experience and generalized but reading his post it is just over the top. Started my evening out at LK metro to give it another try. First stop was sugar sugar agogo at about 8 pm. The atmosphere was pretty boring. I was one of two customers. This will explain why some girls rarely work and don't go with customers. It's because they hit their quota in 2-3 days and then take off the rest of the time. Also this information is useful in barfining a girl that is hesitant to go. For example, if it's the girl's 10th day and she need 5 drinks to make her 10,000. Good luck on getting her to go with you. She's better off staying to make her quota. This is why I often ask girls how many drinks they have tonight? If they say 1. I say I will buy you 4 drinks and then can I barfine you? What I carry with me is a generic of Zitromaxs called Augclav 1000, I use it for last resort if I know I have a infection, otherwise if it is minor I usually let nature takes it course lots of water and rest. But of course tough if you are on vacation and here to get pussy? Like most clinics they will load you up with not just medication but a number but the problem there is no power to them that is why I use Facino.
If you have a runny nose they will also give you basically antihisthme? Basically allergy medication and something for your throat if necessary nevertheless, whatever Facino gives is usually stronger than what you might get at a Thai clinic.

Have you been much at Insomnia? I got this last time for one of the discos. Poor ventilation, very crowded, too many smokers, many people from many countries who have been on flights with many people from many countries. Cauldron of swarming bacteria looking for a good host! LOL You might be like me, susceptible to sinus infections in last 10 years due to narrow sinuses above the forehead limiting normal drainage. Bacteria seem to have a wonderful field day and hitch up residence with such human hosts and quickly multiply into the millions. You need antibiotics. Vitamin C won't cut it once the mucus is as you describe.

The runny nose is a killer when you are doing mish and all of a sudden you got a big drip that is not the way you want to cum on her? As you know it isn't rocket science once you got it not a lot you can do to get rid of it right away it takes time.
I don't use the doctors or hospital here just tired of all the bullshit they feed you unless I have to and so far so good except for a few accidents. I'm lucky since I have medical people in my family who I can call or email as to what to do? Forgive me due to this being way off topic but couldn't really find a good answer elsewhere on internet. Needing some FAST relief from a cold that's kicking my arse and slowly getting worse. What would be the best plan? Just go straight to pharmacy or would going to a clinic be the better route? I realize some pharmacies no good and know of the good ones with good meds. Just don't know if going to clinic would be a waste of valuable time if they just going to send you to pharmacy.The cigarette smoke is what kills me. I usually carry Tylenol Cold and Flu (night and day pack) and sucrets extra strength for the cough and sore throat.

It won't be malaria (which I have had). The strain that I had had a 48 hour lifecycle in the blood, so every 2 days in the evening I would have a severe fever for a few hrs. Then the next day no fever. I don't recall any cough, phlegm, runny nose etc. Just fever, and headache.
You probably have some sort of viral strain of the common cold or of the flu in which case your body will be the only thing that will cure it. If it persists for several weeks then it is probably bacterial rather than viral, and so you may need antibiotics.
BTW it is my opinion that if you are virally sick then you should avoid contact with people as it is likely that you will pass it on to them as you will be contagious for one week approximately.

Headaches and fever along with body aches could be a sign of dengue. Yes, I had these symptoms when I took dengue fever in Patong back in December 2010. I spent 5/6 days in the hospital.

I normally don't get headache at all and even when I do I try not to take any and just bare it out but if I do I take acetaminophen which I bring from the States. The one thing that goes with Dengue is you will have lots of pressure on your eyeballs, just blinking it hurts. I went to International hospital Soi 4, you can find out in 20 minutes if you think you have it, cost, total was 1900 baht. Even though I have the eye pressure it came up negative.
Last year, and I rarely get really sick here but both times I realized I got sick right after going to my regular Thai massage place, which many of the ladies were wearing mask including the one who gave me the massage, it also didn't help I was located in front of the A / see.

So I landed in BKK airport in the early morning. After clearing immigration, which took a lot of time, I went a bought a DTAC sim card (299 plan). It served me well for my whole trip. 100 call credits and 2.5 GB 4 g data.
Next I went to basement to the Superrich money exchange. They really gave a good deal.
I had already booked my Bus (Bell Bus Service). It is a bit difficult to find as the lady had a tiny signboard. Anyways, at 8 AM the bus started and off we went to Pattaya. It's better to take a seat on rifht side as the sun bears down on you on the left side.
The ride was smooth and we reached Pattaya in 1.5 hours. From their office, they took us in a minivan and dropped one by one at our respective hotels.
As it was too early, my room wasn't ready. So I freshed up and wondered out after depositing the luggage.
5 minutes walk took me to the beach. Just to pass some time, I took a Jet ski ride and Parasailing. It was a nice adventure.
After that, I went to Sabai Dee Soapy massage. 15 minutes walk.
Around 10 girls were there. Discussing with the Mamasan, took one girl. 2500 all inclusive.
She took me to a room upstairs. Bed, sofa, air mattress and bathtub. She was 25 yr old. Cute. Good assets.
First the cleaning up in bathtub. Then a nice soapy in Mattress. Post that a shower together and then sex in the bed.
A nice experience. But the whole thing looked a bit rehearsed. Still I would recommend this a one time unique experience.

Lots more drinks than my usual pattern at home (as is easy to do in Pattaya) and it shot that up to dangerous levels. Found out a few days later with a scheduled exam program at Bumrungrad in Bangkok where they took the readings and started acting like I might be an emergency patient (they did 4 of 'them, IIRC).
That was a kind of turning point and I've had to dial way back, what with age + the threat of metabolic syndrome.
Am in Pattaya now and am getting the aches, sore throat and low-grade fever. I *think* it's the mattress + a rough B150 massage, along with "air-con throat. " Sure hope it's not dengue.

Just finished a short time trip to Pattaya. Crammed a lot in 4 nights but my observations were that since my last visit in November that January was way too busy. Soi 6 was quiet during the days but the hunting was ok. Best bar was Pussy Club although the talent was still thin. Lisa Bar was a disappointment this trip. You are right. Looks are very subjective regardless of the light. My eye sight is not great at night but I did not really notice the blue lights in Whats Up. The girls looked good even with dodgy eyes.

I don't think you can simply state that one place or any type of girl is this or that (meaning a sure thing for a target objective, whatever that might be for a specific guy) . Some examples from my own observation over many months in Pattaya (but I am far from being any kind of expert so please take it FWIW):
1. There are beach road girls that do come to Insomnia or Ibar (but a lot more to say Lucifer or Red Car). Anyone who thinks that this is not the case is simply misinformed. Girls from massage places, beer bars, go gos, and regular girls (example , working at a hotel or even 7 Eleven) go to the discos (" to enjoy" their terminology) and are open to " going with man" , as they often refer to it.
Now, I don't know what the distribution looks like, but I would guess less than 10 pc (but that's still a lot of girls) are from beach Road. Girls have specifically said they have in the past been at beach Road when they need some money ASAP.
2. Not all girls at even the best go gos are what one would call go go material. As a matter of fact, based on my recent experience (which is very limited to say about 8 diff go gos in WS and LK Metro ), I would say a full 50 pc are VERY average, meaning a 6/6. 5 or below. Some are pretty poor lookers IMO. And yeah, this even applies to Imagine (what's up upper level). Maybe 20pc of a typical top quality go go , IMO, is worth bar fining.
So, yes there is a distribution of 4's, 5's, 6's, 7's, 8's, a few 9's in all go gos.
Most places have a fixed bar fine, some have multiple levels, but still, even in each level not all girls are equivalent.
So, I would suggest not paying a steep bar fine for a 6 in a go go. And certainly don't pay 4 k.
There are 6. 5 's and the occasional 7 even avail at Insomnia for 2 K LT, and, if you are very lucky even a 7 at a beer bar. I was lucky enough in the last 8 days to bar fine four 7's from a beer bar for anywhere from 350-700 and 2 K LT. After a lot of time and work searching. I would suggest smaller beer bars in Jomtien and even Simon complex and others nearby on 2nd RD.
3. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but age is not. IMO! The vast majority of the girls at a G club like Kinnaree are definitely in their 30's. I am not paying for that cause I can get better in that age group in the US, some parts of Europe and in Latin America without a bar fine. Again, age distribution is all over the place at beer bars (so many 40 plus yo) and many go gos with 30 plus (do they need a boob job due to age and gravity). But one thing about the G clubs, like Kinnaree, they seem to have a better personality than the average girl at a top go go.
4. Young 8. 5 's and 9's are very few and are mostly at the go gos and a sprinkling at Insomnia, IMO. However, IMO, there is no denying that in those venues they do prefer Korea's and Japanese by a long shot. Money will not make a diffrence and chances are not under 8 K. At Insomnia many will simply do the hand together gesture and just turn away or say they are busy or thank you. So, yes, again there is a clear distribution in this sense that has become more pronounced in the last couple of years.
5. Yes, there is more demand than the supply of girls, at all venues. But as I (and Mr ENT) would note, you only need one (unless you are Sexmachine's wingman (who I now refer to as "2 IstheMinimum". So, the distribution is what it is. If when you are there, that one - that will fit your bill - is not there or unavailable to you, keep moving and keep looking. Somewhere along the line, the distribution curve, particularly at the right time of day, will make you lucky. But if you are here for 4-5 days then Soi 6, G clubs or go gos are your best options for point and click...but they are by and large, ST in premises options only (something I simply do not do ).
So, always be mindful of the distribution curve. Also, WS is now closing at 3-330 am, so one has to start early say by 1030 ( or in the case of some go gos by 830-9 as the older Korean and Japanese like to retire early with their barfine of the day.
But, these days, it's a lot of work. And, that is what is so frustrating and I think Pattaya is fast reaching a point where the work (vs the money) is just becoming a very steep climb, IF you like me want under 23, GFE and solid 6-7. 5 with a rare 8. I for one find that the ones above 8 are just too full of themselves and simply not worth my time for a busted experience.

I am young and want to explore as much as possible. Could you guys please suggest some places and the right time to visit them. I would be really thankful to you guys. I don't drink so I won't have to spend on drinks. I knew that we might not be able to bring a girl for LT before the booking (which I did day before yesterday) but I will be there in 4 days and prices of hotels were skyrocketing due to high season. My friend is not a monger like me and he wanted a good hotel to stay and so I had to book a good one (which raised my budget, I could have stayed in a hotel half that price if I were alone). I think I will have to do with the ST only with one of us being outside the hotel when the other one is in room with a girl. And also I think that we will take a cheap room for one night near our hotel for LT once. I am all ears for your suggestions.

My only suggestion is not to be that guy who goes to a bar or club and not buy drinks.
If someone is insisting on a cover charge at the club's door with 1 free drink for indians it is for a reason as many enter and just sit there without buying anything.
Some clubs don't want us, but many still do. Don't make it harder for us by adding more clubs to the list that have a blanket ban. If you like what you see just get couple of drinks, relax and sooner or later you will find girls coming to you. Usually you will find the more attractive ones not showing much interest until you start buying lady drinks.
Don't waste your time going early to clubs like Raaz, they have agents all over WS to round up Indians like herds and get them inside as early as 8 pm or so in to an empty floor with pressure to buy a liter of beer for 1300 B or something like that.

Separate room for you and your buddy is absolutely necessary. If you tell a girl that you share a room with your buddy there is no way she is going with you to your room. You end up spending money on ST rooms which in the end will turn out to be more costly than booking separate rooms. Follow the advise of many here and don't act like a cheap charlie. Spend 8-10 K per day on food, drinks and girls and you will surely have a memorable trip. Dress in a decent manner. Shower as many times as you come back to your room or before going out. Use a good deodorant and treat the girls nicely. Be polite and always wear a smile on your face. Afterall you will be in the Land of Smiles. Enjoy and have a great time.

I can't answer all of your questions but at least can say something and others can fill in the remaining answers. I don't know about hotels close by to where you already booked but it shouldn't be a problem to just walk around in the area and step in to whatever hotels that will show up, and ask of prices and availability. I think that you should be able to find something by doing that.
Personally I don't go to the Go Go clubs (those in Walking Street) because I am too happy to get girls from Soi 6 or some other (beer) bars. And actually I never pay exact attention of how much a lady drink is in Soi 6 for example, because I know that it will be reasonable anyway. If I find a girl attractive I always pay for a LD to get some time to sit with her for a while and it is a good idea that you are prepared to do the same. I think lady drinks in Soi 6 bars are something like 130 - 180 Baht, more or less. But you can ask first of course so you know how much it will be.
There are a few bars in Soi 6 that have higher prices and I don't know the names of all those bars buy I know that Scooters and Wet Six Club are more expensive than the others. But in general, and I would say for 95% of the Soi 6 bars, prices are more or less the same and very affordable. About 95% of Soi 6 bars have short time rooms upstairs too (Scooters and Wet Six Club don't have rooms on the premises).
And about not drinking alcohol in bars: I can tell you that it won't be a problem at all. Personally I like to be sober when being with the girls so I most of the time drink water and it is always fine of course. Do your thing and drink whatever you want and it will be just fine!

So far the advice you have received is excellent.
As far as drinks are concerned, I understand that you don't drink alcohol, but you have to understand that the bars / gogos / discos make money from selling drinks. It is good that you are willing to buy the girls drinks. If you are good with buying drinks, then you should be able to get away with buying a water or two. Again, the bars make money by selling drinks, so if you are in a place for 3 hours and buy 1 drink, that is not good for the bar.
You are going to face racism because you are Indian, so be prepared. I have seen girls in gogos refuse to even accept a drink from an Indian guy.

This is my first FR and after RTFF for quite some time, it was a big help to understand how things work in Pattaya.
Coming to the scouting report.
Reached LOS in the morning and straight bus to Pattaya. Checked in at hotel. Needed a sure shot session so headed to Sabai Dee at 1530 hrs and the talent was pretty much there since I went in early.

Your drink will cost around 90 to 185 baht for a non-alcoholic drink and a lady drink will range from 150 to 215 baht, depending on the bar. with a 1600 baht budget per day you can see your money will not last long at all in gogo bars. Gogo bars are not cheap which is why most ISG members do not go to them often, if at all.

This other guy is not memorable and boring and that memory is stored in different sections of the brain because that memory has no specific associative power, since it has no 'value' . Additionally, if there are 20-30 girls in a go go bar on any specific night and say 100-150 guys are coming and going, not ALL the 20-30 girls will too remember or even try to remember EVERY single guy (50-150 of them) in that one single day who DID NOT buy a drink. It's just much associative memory overload, particularly when a girl has worked in that go go for weeks or months. BUT it is easier to recall positive memories when it is reinforced (memory overlays) multiple times by the same person or a specific ethnic group. I see that you are on a very limited budget for the girls and I doubt that you will be able to take a girl every day in Thailand with that budget and you can definitely forget about Go Go bars. My recommendation for Soi 6 still stands but you won't be able to take any girls long time from Soi 6 but you can afford a few short times there.
You say that you don't drink but you are at least expected to get something, like a water, in a bar. That will be around 60 Baht and say that a lady drink is 160 so it comes to 220 Baht. 300 - 350 for the room plus 1000 for the girl. Around 1600 Baht for taking a girl there short time.
I am not very aware of hotel prices and it is true that now is high season but there will always be cheaper places to be found. Actually a friend of mine was thinking of coming here too, and soon, and he said that he wanted to pay 500 Baht and not more for a hotel (coincidentally he is also Indian). He asked me if I could check for some place for him and I did and I found a small guesthouse here in Jomtien where I live and it is 500 Baht a night. It's a separate room and it has shower, air con, TV and that is about what you need for a few days. Location is excellent in Jomtien just where the road turns to the beach and on the Baht bus route where you will reach Pattaya and Walking street in 10 minutes. I am just mentioning this as an example that it definitely is possible to find a cheap room if you just look around a little.

Go Go bars both BKK and Pattaya, I am so well known, that if another ISG member embarrasses themselves or me, I usually have them kicked out. One time, out of being nice, an Indian member on this board PMed me about helping him get access into Palace and other bars on Walking Street. I met up with him and when they stopped him at the door, I gave the security nod, so they let him inside. When we took our seats, he didn't want to order a drink, but wanted to look for a few minutes. Not even a soda or water was ordered, then the waitress looked at me in confusion. 1. No need to book another room, just yet. When you check into your hotel, ONLY you check in. Have your friend go wait some where else. And chill. You booked a room for 2, and only 1 person checks in. Tell reception, your buddy didn't make the trip and it's just you. Request two key cards still. If they only give you one, that's fine too. Officially, your room will booked for 2, but only 1 guest arrived, no joiner fee when a girl is brought back. These hotels don't know all their guests faces and remember there are usually 2 shifts (day / night) working. You take your buddy's luggage along with yours and bring it in to the room. Later, you go meet him to give him his key card and room number. Never walk in the lobby together with your buddy. They will not know who stays in that room anyways. The MOST important thing is only you check in for this to work, not two people.
2. With the girls, it's easy now. But you can only have one girl in the room, and only he or you can be in the room as well. No Indian orgy, foursome crap can be going on in that room or you will get caught. You have to share the room. If you find a girl, you can take her to your room no problem. Take her to reception, they will ask room number and ID. Your buddy can wait outside somewhere. There are plenty on Indian food in the area. He can get some samosa or masala and enjoy the view. When he finds a girl, he goes to your room alone with your key. He will tell her the hotel name and room number and your name. He will go wait in your room. 5 minutes later, she will go to your hotel, tell reception YOUR name, and the room number. They will call in your room, and your buddy will "OK' her to come up. Reception doesn't know who they are talking to when they call into the room. Got it?
3. You can possibly have a threesome if you and your buddy don't mind sharing a girl. I see why'all holding hands all the time on Walking Street, so I'm sure two guys rubbing naked up against a single Thai girl with some incidental touching shouldn't be an issue. Both of you find a girl outside, your friend goes wait in the room. No need to stop at reception. He leaves door unlock. 5 minutes later, you come with the girl. Leave her ID with reception. And walk with her to your room with the door unlocked and your buddy already naked. Then the both you can roll her around a flatten. If you get the itch late at night, you guys can find girls or maybe something else on WeChat. Just have them come up to your room. They only need your name and room number. But do tell the girl that there is another guy there. Some girls will bang two guys, no issue. Can't reiterate enough, that this only works with 1 person checking in, so make sure that's done.
Your best bet is Beach Road freelancers that have all their teeth that run 1000-1500. Go go bars are at least 300 for drinks (even with just water or soda), 1000-2000 for barfine, and 2500-3000 minimum for the girl for short. They are still the highest quality in looks besides LK Metro. You get to see the merchandise before you order. Everywhere else, you are gambling. Soi 6 is so so in talent. Most are overweight, look like hoodrats that once belong to some Esaan Thai street gang or something. Girls are 1000, room and drinks add another 500. It comes down to what you really want to remember about your trip. I can come to Thailand and fuck 10 below average, ugly street girls and pay my hard earned money doing so. To me that is pretty stupid. I can do that in my own country for free. I'm not a unattractive guy. Can't speak for everyone on here and I don't know their story. But I rather go try to find that 1, 2, or 3 girl that I really really want. Quality over quantity. I want to remember the faces and bodies of these girls. I would pay more for that. Remember, the hunt in itself is the best part. Reward yourself with the girl you want, not the budget you set for just any girl. If you want to meet up still in Pattaya, I can get you into any and all the Go Go bars. You have to buy at least 1 drink (non-alcohol is okay), looking at the girls is just as fun. Thanks brothers for the information but I am a budget monger and my budget for girls is only 8 k baht (max. 10 k) for 5 days I am staying in Thailand. I don't drink so I won't have to spend on drinks.No brainer. Hit the disco and get a club soda. Get a chick for 1000 LT. Easy peasy. This chick got here at 11 pm last night and now it is after 2 pm and she is still here. 1000 baht. Don't make a mountain out of a molehill. My recommendation for Soi 6 still stands but you won't be able to take any girls long time from Soi 6 but you can afford a few short times there.
You say that you don't drink but you are at least expected to get something, like a water, in a bar. That will be around 60 Baht and say that a lady drink is 160 so it comes to 220 Baht. 300 - 350 for the room plus 1000 for the girl. Around 1600 Baht for taking a girl there short time.
Why do you have to buy drinks? When you go to a restaurant do you have to buy appetizers? You can go to any place on Soi 6 and point at any chick and say let's go upstairs. The room is 350. Tell the girl 700 for her. 1050 all in. He could get 4 girls and a meal to eat after each one for every 3 girls that you get.
Or you can go around closing time and find a chick. Pay the barfine (if the chick is cool she will just come to you after work without a barfine) and tell her 1000 LT for her.

Haven, my comment was based on my own experiences in gogo bars, FKK clubs, and many strip clubs around the world so my sample size is likely fairly large. I know what I see on how girls at specific bars perceive me. It's most obviously noticed in FKK clubs. In Pattaya, there are still many gogo bars where I have never bought a lady drink for anyone. In those bars, I do not get tons of smiles from girls who recognize me like I would in a gogo bar where they know I may buy a random girl an occasional lady drink.
Maybe I will perform my own scientific studies when some of my friends come to town. Will hit the same gogo bars on consecutive multiple nights and see if the person buying a lady drink for a different girl each night gets more attention than the guy who never buys drinks.

They really don't have shit else to do (if it is not a really busy place - and if it is, then she is going to be gone right after the drink is finished anyway).
The times that I do buy a chick a drink, I do it after she has been sitting with me screwing around for a while. That way I know whether she is there because "she wants to" and not because I used a "carrot on a stick" by buying the drink for her. In other words, I use drinks as a reward instead of a preward. I don't want to waste my money (as little as it may be) on someone I might be rejecting.

This is the problem. You said you recognize that Indians have a bad reputation and want to find a solution, but then you are going to perpetuate the perception in LOS that Indians are cheap.
How are you going to go to the clubs and not drink? How are you going to get girls if you don't offer to buy them a drink at the bar? (Separate issue being you will be kicked out of the GoGos that actually let you in for not buying drinks) 10 k is honestly unrealistic if you want to monger every day you are there. You could maybe get away with 2-3ST girls and the rest of the days is just walking around. But then what is the point of going?
My recommendation is to not go until you have a more realistic budget, but since it seems like the trip is happening in a few days you probably have to hit up Beach Road or one of the Soi 6 bars (which will make you buy drinks). Soapies are likely to wreck your budget and clubs are simply out of the question.8-10 K per day is a good enough budget for food+drinks and mongering in Pattaya. Maybe not enough in Bangkok.
