Given the ST rates at 1000 plus a BF and a few drinks, it is just about for one girl a day. Even in a MP in soi chaiyapoon.Who seeks finds, he can have ST with less than 1000 in beach road. In soi chaiyapoon is normal to pay 1000 all in for ST.

The price for the room on Soi 6 is not necessarily related to the quality of the room. A few bars have some really nice ST rooms, thought most have pathetic rooms with a bed covered with a sheet that hasn't been washed since who knows when, and with a communal shower where people across the street can see you naked. If one has a germ phobia, either avoid Soi 6 or BF the girl back to your hotel!

In other words, I use drinks as a reward instead of a preward. I don't want to waste my money (as little as it may be) on someone I might be rejecting.I totally agree with the master. I DO buy myself a cold beverage at most every club I enter (unless I immediately see the club is a dude and I immediately walk out), but I will not buy a lady drink until the girl has set with me and talked for a bit and, only then if I find her interesting. Yeah, many of us are nice guys and we give in, but this is our vacation and we don't want to spend time with selfish girls who impose on us, right? So, just say "not right now". I am the same with tips. If the girl provides a basic service, I only pay the fee. The Rock.Palace is the best club because they have the most models in number by far. Their drinks are more expensive, barfine is 2000 all night, however they can be the pickiest when it comes to getting barfined. They make 16,000 every 10 days off drinking alone. I've seen them hustle guys for tons of drinks only to reject them. If they sit with you and their model friends come around with the tequila shot trays and you don't buy any for them or their friends. Then "Good Luck" at getting them to go with you and having a memorable experience. Best time to catch them is after midnight -2 am. Let the models make their drink quotas first. Take it from me, I've barfined about 9 models from there, they are good at hustling!

What I meant by ratio is that when a ratio is heavily in favour of the working girls the clever ones know that they are in high demand. IMO, nothing is 100 pc this or that in Pattaya (more so than anywhere else). One needs, IMO, to always keep in mind that you are looking at a mix, or a distribution of many types of girls, at all locations. IMO, a lot of the disagreements on this board is posters viewing or seeing things in a polarized way and not as a clear distribution curve.

I don't think you can simply state that one place or any type of girl is this or that (meaning a sure thing for a target objective, whatever that might be for a specific guy) . Some examples from my own observation over many months in Pattaya (but I am far from being any kind of expert so please take it FWIW):

1. There are beach road girls that do come to Insomnia or Ibar (but a lot more to say Lucifer or Red Car). Anyone who thinks that this is not the case is simply misinformed. Girls from massage places, beer bars, go gos, and regular girls (example , working at a hotel or even 7 Eleven) go to the discos (" to enjoy" their terminology) and are open to " going with man" , as they often refer to it.

Now, I don't know what the distribution looks like, but I would guess less than 10 pc (but that's still a lot of girls) are from beach Road. Girls have specifically said they have in the past been at beach Road when they need some money ASAP.

2. Not all girls at even the best go gos are what one would call go go material. As a matter of fact, based on my recent experience (which is very limited to say about 8 diff go gos in WS and LK Metro ), I would say a full 50 pc are VERY average, meaning a 6/6. 5 or below. Some are pretty poor lookers IMO. And yeah, this even applies to Imagine (what's up upper level). Maybe 20pc of a typical top quality go go , IMO, is worth bar fining.

So, yes there is a distribution of 4's, 5's, 6's, 7's, 8's, a few 9's in all go gos.

Most places have a fixed bar fine, some have multiple levels, but still, even in each level not all girls are equivalent.

So, I would suggest not paying a steep bar fine for a 6 in a go go. And certainly don't pay 4 k.

There are 6. 5 's and the occasional 7 even avail at Insomnia for 2 K LT, and, if you are very lucky even a 7 at a beer bar. I was lucky enough in the last 8 days to bar fine four 7's from a beer bar for anywhere from 350-700 and 2 K LT. After a lot of time and work searching. I would suggest smaller beer bars in Jomtien and even Simon complex and others nearby on 2nd RD.

3. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but age is not. IMO! The vast majority of the girls at a G club like Kinnaree are definitely in their 30's. I am not paying for that cause I can get better in that age group in the US, some parts of Europe and in Latin America without a bar fine. Again, age distribution is all over the place at beer bars (so many 40 plus yo) and many go gos with 30 plus (do they need a boob job due to age and gravity).Been saying the same for awhile. Got tired of trying to tell some folks on here. Plenty of girls spread out everywhere and easy to find. No need to drop 4 k and there is no 'must have' girl. Just go to another place.

Have been making my monthly G club visits this week.

I have just returned from my first trip to Pattaya, Thailand actually, and we stayed at the Penthouse Hotel. This hotel is not everyone's cup of tea but you can't beat the location. We didn't feel unsafe in Pattaya at all so personally I wouldn't let feeling unsafe play a major role in your decision to what hotel you choose to stay at. There was 2 of us and I don't know if you will going solo or not. I went thru Soi 6 once and I wasn't that impressed with what I saw and had more fun around Soi 8. The Walking Street Ago gos where we had most fun and we will stay at the Penthouse again because of the proximity to walking street and the 10 baht buses are good to get around. These chaps would then make it a point to get to LOS one way or another. And when this chain of events is set off in perpetuity, keeping in mind the humongous population, the outcome is easily conceivable. A visitor count of 1 million is a drop in the proverbial bucket. Here, I must punctuate my comments by adding that instances of racial abuse that these fellows have been met with, during their visit to LOS, tend to get brushed under the carpet to a large extent while they are narrating their tales of conquests to their captive audience, who have never been. Also, I'd tend to think that if you are rejected at any joint, you'd not go around glorifying it. Who ever said that they got their ass handed to them? Having said so, make no mistake that LOS does offer quite a few other non-Thai options to these weary souls and even Thai ones for that matter, think - oilies, soapies, BR etc. and that too at low prices in comparison to certain western and middle eastern countries. This remains a big attraction. Despite the rising costs, LOS remains one of the best destinations for hobbying for a bargain punter. Also, truth be told, things have been made VERY easy by VoA offered by Thailand. Believe you me, the donkey work involved for most of these frequent travellers to LOS, were they to even try getting to western shores, would render them both ineligible and ill-equipped to do so as they would neither have the financial means nor the background paperwork etc. to accomplish this 'gargantuan' task. If we have to be brutally honest, many such guys would not be in a position to fill out the visa form required for many developed countries and would have to seek professional help. Hence, the west remains utopia for many such travellers, who, under such circumstances, choose the path of least resistance. This brings me to my third point that, from a budgetary perspective, cheap flights and hotels only add fuel to the fire. There are not many capital cities in the world where you can find a decent 4-5 star hotel in the ballpark of 100 USD and if a flight to Bkk, from some parts of the country, costs almost the same as certain long distance domestic ones, it becomes a very tempting proposition. Now, it would be remiss of me not to mention, as you already have, that many such travellers are routine tourists and honeymooners as LOS has emerged as a big tourist attraction. You'd find many newlyweds on WS, which, quite frankly, I find distasteful. Talk about carrying coals to Newcastle! However, the attraction for any regular tourist or a hobbyist is going to be alike when it comes to the economics of travelling and staying in Thailand. Also, not to discount the fact that having travelled internationally and that stamp, albeit of Thailand VoA, on his, otherwise, virgin passport would give such an individual one more thing to boast about and would, thus, be an added incentive. Lemme also add that the kind of freedom and open opportunity to hobby that LOS offers is most certainly not available to these guys back home. To complement my point, lemme cite an example of a popular Bollywood movie in which a cop catches a couple of horny seniors and mistakenly thinks that they are soliciting a girl on the street. After accepting bribe to let them loose, he offers them free advice that if they were so desperate to get laid, they should go to Bkk as they would have difficulty scoring back home.
