After 22 trips in 7 years, this last one for 3 months and running, for me, at least the reason to go for the pernoites v sessioing in the clubs comes down to:

I don't mind paying. I don't think it's out of the norm. I read on Brazilian boards where guys are paying girls 1500 or 2000 reais for a weekend at Buzios.

The problem for me was two fold:

1. It's a reflection of the economics. "Brazil is the country of the future and it always will be" it is said. I'm not a Rio expert at all but have been there before and will be there next week for a couple weeks. Leaving a couple days before you arrive. Most hotels either don't allow girls or charge a large joiners fee if you bring a girl in. The way to go in Rio is to rent an apartment for your time there. That way you can bring who you want. Rio has no central location where all the girls can be found but the places are spread out through out the city. I would not rent a car and drive instead you need to look up the subway system on line and learn the lines. That in my opinion is the best way to get around. Most people stay in Copacabana area which is the tourist area. Has anybody been to Brazil in the last 30 days? Now that the Brazil Real is losing value, What are the prices for the Termas? Has the price gone up in the 4 x 4, Monte Carlo?I've been in the last 30 days.

Monte Carlo was 400 +/- for 40 minutes with a girl (at least for me) might have been a tourist price.

After 22 trips in 7 years, this last one for 3 months and running, for me, at least the reason to go for the pernoites v sessioing in the clubs comes down to:

Solid waste as in toilet paper, tissue of any kind, etc. In their sewage disposal systems. They do the absolute minimum, and in many instances, do nothing to process the sludge. In addition, the waste runoff of the favelas goes untreated straight into the ocean. It is not a matter of cleaning up, but a matter of stopping untreated waste from going into the ocean, rivers, lagoons, etc. No way they are getting these problems fixed before or after the games. Plan B was Bel Prazer, at Ave Rio Branco, 185, walking distance. It's another interesting Building full of Prives and Massagems. The guide books don't tell you about the circular ramp to access the elevator banks. Nor do they tell you that the elevators only go to the 20th floor, and in order to reach the 21st Floor and your objective, a flight of stairs near the elevators is used. (Who the Hell designed this Building?) Located Bel and got buzzed in.

Plan B was Tania. Tania gets rave reviews on the local boards and was available. She looks thinner on Bel's website. Tania is a Par 3 course, if you're not too big. Closes at 3a I was told. 473ML can of Antarctica is $R9. Garotas were arriving. Good place to hang after the other nearby places close, just to see what shows up.

I found it interesting that all these places, except for 31 Nightclub, had the same rates: $R45 for 15min, $R55 for 20min, $R70 for 30min, $R80 40min and $R135 for an hour. (Same owner, I was told. And Yes, those rates make no sense.) Except for 4x4, all these places had steep staircase to get to the bar. I had a good time killing an otherwise dead Monday night.

One of the more popular and easiest to find is Monte Carlo on rua Hilario near Avenue Atlantico (the avenue that runs along the beach) Go to the corner of Atlantico and Rua Hilario its along the northern end of Copa, just a few paces in before you get to the corner on your left hand side you will see a big black awning with the words Monte Carlo Hotel on it right next to it on the other side you will see a much smaller black awning with nothing written on it. The trouble Rio Antigo had, despite great facilities, was that it was so difficult to get to -- and then, when you did, there was no guarantee the girls were going to be that hot.

Phone- Tim store is on a off street near Vanity Hotel toward Posto 5-6 off Avenida Copacabana. I got mines from TIM store in Botafogo mall. There are 2 stores 1st and 2nd floor. To get the chip go to 2nd floor. There is a English speaking male sales rep in the 1st floor as I got by with my basic Portuguese.

Day 1- (Sat) Got situated and got my phone. Talked a to a agency called riogirls dot com via whatsapp. They advertise heavy on backpage Rio section.
