I think he just never set the date on the camera. I think all the pictures have the same 1-1-97 date. Unless he was VERY busy that day.

Well, I wonder about that myself. Remember that white chicks include those who are of Portuguese ancestory, therefore, are considered "white". This is my opinion only, but I think the "white chicks" avoid contact with suspected "mongers". They have a reputation to uphold. I have seen a few of what I think you are looking for at the "sul" mall in Rio. I have also seen a few of the look at beaches in Rio other than Copa.
If you are looking for the Northern European look, I don't think that Rio is a good place because the "poor" girls coming into Rio to work are usually not northern european looking. Those girls are usually not "poor". I think SP probably has a lot more. I did meet a girl of swiss ancestry in Curitiba whom stayed with me all week. She was from a town north of SP and said most of the people were of Northern European stock in her area. She spoke no English and my Portuguese is only good enough to get by, so I was not really able to find out much. Personally, I prefer the anglo look myself, but I have still found decent looking girls of all races and mixtures, even in Rio. It just takes a lot more searching.
