Need some advice on what to do. I met a girl at scandallo boite made a deal with me to stay a whole week. Which at the end of the day is not easy to come by theses days. Now that you know her maybe she will give you a discount in the future.
From what I gathered, a prive is a private apartment setup with a reception area and on-site rooms where you can session. Girls present themselves to you and you can ask to chat briefly with ones that interests you. Bring pen & paper or type into your smartphones, is not easy to keep the faces & the names straight especially if you are presented with 8-10 hotties. According to the time you want to session most prives will ask you to pay before the session. Places that ABG recommends Redway & Flor Alvim do not ask this. You will pay after the session there. I am OK either way as long as I find a cute girl to have a good time with. You always take a chance with someone new, getting a good session is not 100% guaranteed. As time goes by, I am finding 30min sessions work fine for me. I can test drive a lot more girls with the same budget and if the session is bad you did not waste so much money. You can always complain to the manager & see if they do anything. If not, I just don't go back within the same trip.
During this most recent weeklong trip, my best sessions were at inexpensive prives. I paid between 50R - 90R for half hour including tip!
A clinica is a similar setup except there are some places where the girls don't present themselves in person. You choose from a photo book. The room in a clinica usually have a massage table or a pad on the floor or both. Most do not offer a bed for the session. Some of these girls might give an actual massage then FS extras are either included in the price or you have to tip directly to the girl. Normally a clinica will cost more than a prive.
A boite is a club where freelance girls are allowed to work. For Sao Paulo, this is a close facsimile to the Rio terma. You can ask a girl to sit with you and even make out before choosing to either session on site or leave for you hotel. Famous places like Bomboa, Scandallo & Cafe Foto will cost you R200+ just to enter. Some places this fee equals x-number of drinks for you only, other places might let you use this money for food & drink for you & the girls. Nowadays, because of strict prostitution rules, you will need to 'exit' the club and enter a separate structure. The 'hotel' for the session. Then will have to pay a room charge plus what you negotiated with the girl.

Now if you want AMAZING quality and a very decent price, go to Red Way, do not even hesitate, you will get girls that would charge 300+ if they were independent for 80 R!

I guess you don't speak Portuguese? Forget about counting the money, it seems you have a good session with a woman who did not have an attitude. Which at the end of the day is not easy to come by theses days. Now that you know her maybe she will give you a discount in the future.
From what I gathered, a prive is a private apartment setup with a reception area and on-site rooms where you can session. Girls present themselves to you and you can ask to chat briefly with ones that interests you. Bring pen & paper or type into your smartphones, is not easy to keep the faces & the names straight especially if you are presented with 8-10 hotties. According to the time you want to session most prives will ask you to pay before the session. Places that ABG recommends Redway & Flor Alvim do not ask this. You will pay after the session there. I am OK either way as long as I find a cute girl to have a good time with. You always take a chance with someone new, getting a good session is not 100% guaranteed. As time goes by, I am finding 30min sessions work fine for me. I can test drive a lot more girls with the same budget and if the session is bad you did not waste so much money. You can always complain to the manager & see if they do anything. If not, I just don't go back within the same trip.
During this most recent weeklong trip, my best sessions were at inexpensive prives. I paid between 50R. 90R for half hour including tip!
A clinica is a similar setup except there are some places where the girls don't present themselves in person. You choose from a photo book. The room in a clinica usually have a massage table or a pad on the floor or both. Most do not offer a bed for the session. Some of these girls might give an actual massage then FS extras are either included in the price or you have to tip directly to the girl. Normally a clinica will cost more than a prive.
A boite is a club where freelance girls are allowed to work. For Sao Paulo, this is a close facsimile to the Rio terma. You can ask a girl to sit with you and even make out before choosing to either session on site or leave for you hotel. Famous places like Bomboa, Scandallo & Cafe Foto will cost you R200+ just to enter. Some places this fee equals x-number of drinks for you only, other places might let you use this money for food & drink for you & the girls. Nowadays, because of strict prostitution rules, you will need to 'exit' the club and enter a separate structure. The 'hotel' for the session. Then will have to pay a room charge plus what you negotiated with the girl.

Found myself in SP last week at a hotel (the GC Capitais) and a restaurant about 1 block away from Cafe Photo (http://www.cafephoto.com.br/).
The place is in what feels like the lobby of a high-rise hotel. The space is actually pretty big and nice. Large bar area, tables, band playing, upstairs seating. Typical pay on arrival, get a consumption card, access control, etc. But not nearly as pretentious feeling as Scandalo. I believe it was R$200 entrada that goes to consumption. Didn't have a good feel of drink prices.
What I will remark on is this: the *hottest* girls I've seen in SP recently. Yes they're all wearing dresses and it can be a little hard to guess how things will look naked. But there were a majority of slim, fit girls, totally made up (pretty hair etc.). I'd say a majority of 8s and a few 9s. When I was leaving, one of hottest girls I've seen. But if you are intested in real blondes try POA, Casa the Carmen could be a good alternative.

It's not far from São Paulo: about 45 minutes in normal conditions (more than 6 hours during holydays because there is only one road. The Anchieta. That leads to São Paulo's seaport). There's a good selection of garotas and different types of venues able to satisfy different tastes.
I didn't hobby that much in Porto Alegere (only twice) because I was there for professional reasons (writing academic papers). I'll be in Florianopolis in September for an International Conference. I don't have yet the intention of hitting the hobby scene but rather tI'd like to taste the non-pro scene (as I did in POA).
I hate Rio because there are to much gringos, especially yankees.

To be honest with you, I have never hobbyied in Campinas. It's a town that I visit for academic matters (because of it's renowned university).
The region of Santos (São Paulo litoral) doesn't have it's own thread on ISG; I concede that. However Santos / São Vicente does have a thread on GP Guia. A lot of girls are available and different venues exist. I like Santos. São Vicente and especially Guarujá for the beaches and the night life (especially in Guarujá).
On the week-ends you may find the same GDP that are working free lance in São Paulo on the beaches of Guarujá or Santos (some of them even have a condo there). On the other hand, I also have good friends on the Gp Guia that are from Santos. This is why I like to go there now and then.
I don't know yet Belo Horizonte but it is a little bit further than going to Santos (which, as I said, take 45 minutes from Sampa. Where there is no gridlock).
My escapes were limited in POA because I ha ve a regular girl freind there and she is a non-pro.

The shifty street kids ran off and bothered some drivers instead of us walking. Maybe it's just where you think you know.
I rarely see "too much gringos" in RJ these days. Maybe it'll change for a few weeks around New Year's and Carnaval, but it's been pretty quiet here for a while.

And by far Rio is more expensive than São Paulo, police in Sampa is more efficient, streets are better kept, thelephone and internet works better and trafic is more organised.
I'll give you a good exemple:
In the seventies about 50% of all fairs and exibitions were held in Rio and 50% in São Paulo. Note that Rio has beaches and Sampa do not!
Now not even 5% are in Rio.
Way? Basically lack of security and lack of infra structure in Rio.
But the privês in downtown Rio are worth to explore!
Maybe I shoud give them a visit. I love to "garimpar" new GP's. And mulatas are my "Achilles Heel". Rio has more variety!

As a city, Sao Paulo is much more enjoyable, clean and safe than Rio. People are also more polite and less greedy. Also when it comes to nighlife (be it P4P or "regular") , SP vs Rio is like city vs village.

First of all, you may know that Polar is a beer that is brewed in Porto Alegre.
In this 2005 Polar commercial, two gauchos meet two gorgeous women from São Paulo, There are obvious signs that these women are from São Paulo (like, for instance, the verncular expression « meu » that is used both by the two women and the barman at the end of the add: Polar? Que é isso, meu?) This is the typical way to speak in Sampa (especially the italian / portuguese dialect that is called mooquês with words like orra meu! Area! (for Sai!) , Esse é um guai, Pronto, quem fala? Etc.)
All the stereotypes are evoked in this funny add. Two gauchos see two beautiful women from São Paulo. They asked them from where they come from: the two women replied: Frtom São Paulo. Then the two guys pictured themselves married with them and living in Sampa. Pollution, packed elevator, rain, motoboy hitting your cars, gridlocks, and the worse: no Polar to drink! Sao Paulo is a culturally sophisticated, pulsingly energetic, spectacularly social city with an endless party scene and endless surprises. Bairros like Vila Madalena, Itaim Bibi, Pinheiros or Vila Olimpia are literally swarming with trendy bars and clubs (including wild "after-hours") that are busy every given day of the week. There is no such things in Rio. Also musically, SP is much more progressive than Rio. Most of the most famous rock bands in Brasil like Capital Initial, Charlie Brown Jr, Legiao Urbana, Titas, Skank, just to name a few, are from Sampa and there is dozens over dozens live music "rock cafes" in SP. It's something that doesn't exist in Rio (only live music rock bar I know in Rio is Ballroom in Humaita). As I said below, Rio vs Sao Paulo is like village vs city.

Vani's WayI want to strongly second this recommendation by ABG. I was with him when we discovered Adriana at Vani's Way. We were in the neighborhood, so we figured we'd take a ride over there to see who was around, and out walks Adriana! She is a VERY beautiful mulatta from top to bottom. On Monday, I headed over with ABG to Prive Flor Alvim to have a TD with one of my favorites. Dandara!

The interior of Redway was totally redone and looks great! Very comfortable waiting room and you are always offered a beer / coke / water which was especially nice because it was hot and humid all week. Also, the beds rooms upstairs were really nice with big huge mirrors, and very firm, comfy mattresses.

Would have been great to see some of those free-lancers up close and personal after reading so much on the boards, but always have to budget your money, especially after paying for a plane ticket in December! Ugghh!

But still for R$ 40, 00 (witch is about less than USD 20, 00) is the best cost / benefit os São Paulo.
Is a tipical "prive de centrão", if you rise this basic R$ 40, 00 you are going to have a lot of complaints of the local mongerers.
So for that reason and to have better sevice, like a DFK, good anal and BBBJTC I negociate the cost of the "extras" so that everyrhing is settled before having sex (yes I know that with little or no Porto is complicated ). But that's the best way!
