Brazilian law is very clear, everybody has to be in possession of a valid ID. Better have at least a copy of the front page and the visa copied and notarized.
To be a gest of the Sao Paulo police is not a pleasant experience!
ABG.ABG: what about a valid driver's license from one of the states in the USA? Does that count as ID as far as the police are concerned? I always carry my license, but I am afraid that I will lose my passport if I carry it about (I am good at losing things).
I have been visiting Brazil for over 10 years, and never had a problem with my ID, but I have never had the misfortune to be part of a police raid nor anything similar. Getting a notarized version of my passport seems like a real pain in the ass.

Well I've been hanging out in both cities for almost 2 months now.
Rio and Sao Paulo.
For the tropical relaxed atmosphere, obviously Rio wins hands down.
When in your Hotel room, if staying on the beach like I am, up on a hill in Leblon, and you open your curtains to see the spectacular view, it's just awesome.
Bring a garota back to the hotel and just enjoy the paradise.
Hard to beat!
Sao Paulo, however, I enjoy more the avenues to meet girls.
Maybe it's because I know the city much better and have great contacts there, like ABG and others, but I just find better girls there, for me.
Sao Paulo with it's many Clinicas and Prives, boates at night, inexpensive trash places if you like, just so many options..Thanks for the reply.
I only have 2 weeks so it will be a matter of splitting time between SP and Rio and so far it looks like SP will be the place I spend more time in this time.
Like you put it, it seems to be more options of my liking in SP the termas.
But if I don't remember wrong it's cheap to fly between if I regret myself.
I just found my old username and found some pics I posted back then and remember that the girls back then was in average better looking in SP but the performance and attitude was much better in Rio, but that probably was just coincident (but still, there where god / bad and hot girls in both places).

I generally tend to have an edge over them. But it's difficult to score, specially in USA I had a horrible run there. Still I like taking chances at such clubs, because the women there are really looking for pleasure and fun. Also I enjoy the chase, it's a good build up, the element of surprise, uncertainty makes the entire experience very special.

Last Friday I had the honor to be a guest of ABG.
First we went to Brooklin. Nice line-up. I tried the house special 2 girls for nearly the price of one girl. Fantastic. OK, it took me some minimal brain capacity for the coordination of my tongue, hands and my other manly parts but the girls gave me a helping hand.

Hotrod, the clinicas are very descrete, no signs at all at the doors, no girls parading on the streets. You must have the adress so you can locate these places.
You can stay in a hotel near to the clinicas. They are located in the best districts. Please. PM me so I can suggest you some good, reasonably priced and girl friendly hotels.
If you wanna stay among the cheap brothels, street walkers and the srip clubs the place to stay would be Rua Augusta.
Best areas to stay are Jardins, Ibirapuera and Moema.

Nothing I can think of can make a dark and gloomy and rainy Sao Paulo sky blue, like an amazing hour in the arms of beautiful Kimberly at Miruna's. When I left the clinical the birds were chirping, the sky was clear and everyone that my cab driver honked at, just smiled at me.
When I arrived at 4;00 pm there were only four girls in the line up. My Kimberly, the sexy Renata and two others who didn't do anything for me. For you who live in Sampa or in Brazil it may be easy to move around, but for somebody who is coming from outside, it may be overwhelming by it's size and also quite dangerous if you put your feet in a wrong area. And for people who don't speak Porto, the situation is twice as difficult.

For those that don't speak the language and would like to go to a club, I would recommend Bomboa. It's pretty safe imo. There are at least 3 waiters that speak English and are will to help no need to tip them either. The club makes the girls get exams and tested every 3 months. If a girl did anything wrong like the problems you had with a client they will tell the girl to leave. 250 R cover which can all be used for food and drinks, 150 for room, 400-500 R for girl. Tell the girl you will want to take her out if everything goes good which gives them motivation to give you a great time in the room LOL.

São Paulo is a huge city. The privées are very much spread out. To somebody who doesn't know São Paulo it would take a lot of time finding all the right addresses. It would take a lot of metro- or taxi-rides. I've never had the pleasure of meeting ABG, but it seems like those who have used his services are very satisfied. If you're not interested in his services, then don't use them and stop complaining.

Personally I have no problem with ABG, I think he offers a service and he does above the board. It may suit some people, it may be a waste of time and money for others. But he seems to be reliable and straight forward about it.
Same goes for the boites, some people may enjoy the ambience, and the mingling. If they are willing to pay there should be no issue, you cannot argue that Fogo de Chao is a scam just because you can buy much cheaper food in McDonalds, it is a different value proposition.

I know the guy, he helped me out when I was new to SP, as a matter of fact, he still helps me out here and there with some tips, he's a native.
He personally does not like the club and boate scene. It's not his thing.
He still takes clients there though, if they wish.
