Gentlemen,
I'm in So Paulo at the moment, and will be entertaining a colleague the next 2 evenings (Friday and Saturday night). It's been a few years since my last visit here.
Question: from strictly an optics standpoint, which of the following clubs has the best looking girls. Price and service are not a consideration for this weekend. Just looks. Hotness. Not interested in massagems, clinicas, etc.
1. Bomboa.
2. Cafe Photo.
3. Scandallo.
Any advice would be appreciated. All opinions are helpful. I will report back after both nights.

May not have enough sample size, but on the nights of these visits, Scandallo had the most number of good lookers, I would say about 10 girls were quite nice out of maybe 50-55, then Cafe Photo, it had around 30-35 girls around peak 11 PM, and I think 5-6 in my taste range. Bamboa 222 on my night of visit, had around 20 girls at most, and I saw maybe 2-3 in my taste range. My taste is slim, no baby, feminine, lots of smile, not over 25 years old. So as for me, I would probably visit Scandallo more often than the other 2. If I only have 1 or 2 nights, I think I check out Scandallo first.
I took a girl from Scandallo, but did not take a girl from cafe Photo or Bamboa 222, because they do not provide on site room, the girl will take you to nearby motel. That is somewhat a hassle for me. That is another reason I prefer Scandallo, because you don't need to go to a motel.

Thanks in advance!I was in Scandallo last night, and Cafe Photo tonight. I also pulled a girl from each. IMO, Scandallo has more eye candy plus it has more light, easier to check the chick. Although I liked my cafe photo chick, I don't think I would go back. I liked Scandallo much better, more opportunities, easier to check the girls first, easier to navigate. This is my first time in Saô Paulo, so my opinion may change down the road, as I have not checked other clubs yet.
On the advice of fellow members we made our way to Scandallo, arrriving about 8:30. Entrance is 250 with 150 credit towards food and drink. Based on what we drank, caipis were 60, beers 40 and a steak sandwich was 90.
I separated from my friend almost immediately. Below is my experience.
There were a decent amount of girls to start, but also nearly as many guys. And I wasn't exactly blown away by the quality of girls at that hour, mainly 6's and 7's.
I ordered a drink and chilled in the patio. There was only 1 small table, so I sat down and took in the scene. An English speaking girl came by and gave me the lay of the land, explaining that around 10 or 11 the main boite opens up with live music. There's a main restaurant with a bar that was 1/3 full and an upper balcony that wrapped around the restaurant, but there was nobody in there yet. I left the club around 1:30 am and the restaurant area never seemed to fill up. There's also another bar area and a long hallway with couches on both sides, which I took advantage of later.
While in the patio, I met the eyes of a tall mulata from Rio (ironically) with a beautiful face and great smile. She seemed a little cold and standoff-ish, but after we started talked she warmed up. I bought her a drink and we chilled. I had some reservations about her, so I kept my distance, all the while scanning the room for someone else. She had fake tits, and that's usually a no-go for me. But after a while we developed a bit of chemistry, so I suggested we move to the couches. We worked a second round of caipis and got a little closer; making out, joking and laughing. My earlier feelings about her being cold were premature, and we really hit it off. I wanted to head to the room, but she was in no hurrry. Once she realized I was going to "date" her (her term), she was happy to kick back for as long as I wanted. This seemed to be the vibe of the whole place. We agreed on a price (500 for the hour) and terms (BBBJ, DFK multi-pops if I wanted) and headed to the adjacent motel.
We took the elevator up to the motel and got our room key. The motel attendant offered her 2 condoms, but she gave them back and asked for a different brand. Who knew? I always bring my own from the states anyway. For some reason my girl seemed oddly intrigued by the brand and color of the wrapper. Trojan Magnums are wrapped in gold foil. She stared in disbelief and laughed and laughed. Another great ice breaker. We locked the door for an hour of fun. I love it when you get to a room and the girl stays, as opposed to the standard "I'll be right back, I need to change. " That shit drives me crazy! It was a king-sized bed with great AC, a huge shower area that easily could accommodated 8 people with 3 shower heads. The head was behind another door. There was a TV and music and windows that were opened up to the street. The monogrammed towels were nearly new, hugh and fluffy. I don't know what that stood out to me; they seemed out of place but appreciated after a long session. Strange the things we notice.
We had a great session. She had two kids back home in Rio, and usually that's a no-go for me. And the silicon tits are also usually a non-starter. But her face, smile and personality were perfect. I took my time and she earned that five hundy as I took nearly the entire hour to get my nut. We showered and dressed and headed downstairs, paying her in the room and the hotel attendant the 200 on the way out. So for the room and girl, I dropped 700.
I invited her for another drink and we sat at the bar in the restaurant. We each had a Caipi, hers with Ciroc for 70 and I ordered mine the way I usually do, light on the sugar. They used a different cachaca than usual, and that was 60. Watching the Cavs, Thunder and Dodgers get waxed only added to my post-coital bliss. I was rather hungry at this point and I ordered a steak sandwich (picanha) and a Therezopolis in a bottle. The sandwich was fucking huge and very tasty. It better be for 90 reals. The beer was cold and I was very happy at this point.
She said goodbye and I headed into the now-open boite. There was a band playing cover tunes (watching them cover The Cure's "With or Without You" was surreal) and I scanned the room, checking out the girls that had arrived since I went upstairs. Or what was left of them, anyway. I saw a few 8's and maybe a 9 or two, but nothing better than what I remembered from Bomboa 6 years ago. Maybe most of them had sessioned and left, or were otherwise occupied. I wasn't in the mood to session again, so I met my friend and checked out. My bill for consumables / entry was 540, putting the total for the night at 1240.
Traffic in So Paulo is no joke! From GRU to my hotel in Morumbi took nearly 2 hours. The ride from the hotel to Scandallo was 45 minutes and 50 reals using Uber, returning was 25 minutes and 40 reals. Again in Uber.
All in all, a very good night out. I was a little underwhelmed by the talen at Scandallo, perhaps due to my high expectations and also knowing what awaits me when I return to Rio next week. Also, my timing could have been off. Tonight I'll return to Scandallo solo. My friend is down for the count, but that's his story to tell. There were a few girls that caught my eye on the way out, and you know how that feels.

Chezz, The problem is that unlike Rio, Sao Paulo is a business city, not a tourist city. So the clubs have their best talent during the week when the businessmen are in town not on the weekends.
I had two nights in Santo Andre and one night in Sao Paulo (Moema). The plan was for the day action in Santo Andre at Clinica Vip and one night at Farma cafe and one night at Liberal club. But as they say, the best laid plans. I did get to Clinica Vip.
And picked a pretty morena with a little baby fat. Can't remember her name there because she gave me her real name and I won't post that. Solid 4 stars with 1 hour at are 185.00. Like back in the day which I wrote about in the Rio thread. I asked this girl what time she finished work. It was just small talk but she replies by saying why, you want to do something after? At my age didn't see that coming but told her yes and how about dinner? She said she couldn't do it that day but we could meet up tomorrow then maybe come to the hotel after that. I was feeling great at that point but when I got back to the hotel, I felt a sore throat. I decided no nightclub tonight and save myself for tomorrow. Next day sore throat and a running nose. Took some medicine and stayed in bed because I didn't want to cancel the dinner date. Anyways made the date but was feeling worse and started to cough. After dinner I told her I didn't want to get her sick so we would skip the hotel part. She understood and I paid her taxi home. Got more medicine and went back to sleep. Next day went to my hotel in Moema. The plan here since it was a Sunday, go to Tangara during the day, then to Bahamas during the night. Well after having lunch, just went back to the room and slept. So no reports from Sao Paulo. Sorry guys but I had three more nights in Rio and wanted to get better for at least that.
My planning for this trip couldn't have been worse. Or maybe my memory of the talent here in So Paulo is tainted by the effects of time.
A few of you reached out to let me know that weekends are generally slow in SP. Even a couple of the girls in the club told me that. And that's definitely been my experience so far. Most of the girls working last night would have been just average at 4 x 4 in Rio. Light skin girls dominated, which was fine with me. I spoke to a couple that would have made the cut; one 19 yo with mind-blowing natural tits. And another with a pretty face and perfect English. But both were a no-go with BBBJ, and that was that. I would rather climb into a hot-tub with a suit of armor than get a blow job wearing a condom.
I realized quickly that reliving my Sao Paulo experience from years ago wouldn't happen. I did spot a r30 error on my bill that was quickly corrected. One of the managers came over, apologized and handed me his card. Nice touch. Very polite, professional staff.
One of the things that impressed me about Scandallo was just how massive it is. There is a huge patio around the back with semi-private cabanas. It seemed like at it's peak last night, between 11 pm and 1:30 am, the entire place was only at 25% capacity. At best! I would love to see that place when it's rocking at full capacity. Must be quite a scene (heavy sigh).
Now it's Sunday afternoon. I'm half-tempted to hit Bomboa, as I remember a late-afternoon session there that was pretty fucking great. But it was probably a Wednesday!! Dammit! Or I could find a sports bar and watch Barcelona clinch La Liga this afternoon and rest up for Rio tomorrow.
My colleague hit the road, and I'm running solo. It's days like today I wish I knew a local with knowledge of Sunday options.

Friday, Saturday, Sunday its best to try your luck at Cassarao. It is not luxurious, and there are a lot of real plain girls there but there will often be a few tops, even some of the girls that T-T are in the luxury clubs will go to Cassarao on Fri-Sat because they know there will be a lot of clients there, and its lot cheaper than the luxury clubs.

Weekends in SP are way better than in Rio de Janeiro.

Even on a slow day, Scandalo probably has the most eye candy so I did not try to correct your original agenda. Going to Scandalo on Friday was probably the correct move trying to show your friends the best eye candy available at that time. Going back to Scandalo on Saturday was not a great idea be / see it was pretty much guaranteed to be a subset of the Friday selection.
With that said, I do think visitors have to adjust their expectations to the day and venue. When you compare the trip unfavorably to your past trip it is best to compare same venue on same day of week. Comparing Scandalo on Saturday in 2018 to Bomboa on Wedneday in 2015 is not a fair comparison, etc. SP is still full of talent, it just moves around with the day and time. Some clinicas are far better than they ever were, some clubs are far worse on slow days but still banging on good days. Cassarao is far better than it was, the higher end clubs have very good days and very slow days. The slow days are slower than they were. A lot of talent has moved to free lance mode and that is hit or miss for short time visitor but a bounty for longer term visits.
Please don't take this as criticism, your reports were great and hope you had a good time.

This was my first trip to Sao Paulo. I was there for 5 days, and visited 4 clinicas and 2 boates. I owe a big "Thank You" to folks who have contributed to the Sampa thread. Your reports made my trip so much easier. It felt like I have been there already and that I knew where everything was.
My background: I have been mongering for 20+ years, been to Rio several times in the late 90's and early 2000. In 2003, I needed to get a new visa, but the Brazilian lady consulate in San Francisco gave me such a hard time that I decided to visit Thailand that same year, and never looked back. I made one more trip to Rio in 2011, but the exchange rate was 1.6, another reason not to go back again. My portuguese used to be much better but I struggled on this trip, however my Spanish helped a bit.
Clinicas:
Miruna was the first clinica I went to. I was staying at the Mercure hotel in Moema, Ave. Lavandisca. I love to walk and it was an easy walk from the hotel to Miruna. Nothing much to see but the walk was quite pleasant, no hills and the sidewalks were quite even. The only issue was dog [CodeWord116] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord116). I had to keep my eyes down and sidestep it when I had to. It should be noted that both taxi and Uber were dirt cheap. I just love to walk, back in the states I hike every week.
In Miruna, Daniela grabbed my attention and she was it. In the room, she was very pleasant, accommodating, and customer oriented. I could not ask for more. Left the place with a smile on my face. I don't quite remember the damage but I think it was around 230 BRL.
Enjoy SPA:
After my session in Miruna, I wanted to check out Enjoy SPA. I was not planning to session again but just to locate it and get a feel for the line up. It was not meant to be that day. I got lost, and ended up on that multi-lane expressway, utterly frustrated, and worse, I was so close to the SPA but did not know it. I saw a gas station, stopped there for a bit then flagged a taxi back to the hotel.
Checked the map again, and decided to give it another try the following day. I went to the mall, then followed Ave. Ibirapuera all the way until it crossed that multi-lane expressway, then with the help of Google map, found my way to Enjoy SPA. A long way for sure but I enjoyed that walk, looking like a homeless wandering the residential streets. Luckily, no dog came after me.
I did not have a good time at Enjoy SPA but it was partly my fault. I was not overwhelmed by the line up and I only liked the first girl in the line up. These girls do not make it easy to remember their names, they are experts at mumbling. I eventually started to make them repeat their name, sometimes several times, especially for the girls that appealed to me.
I also made the mistake of enlisting the help of the manager. Unfortunately, my Portuguese is not the best and she ended up calling Eduarda, not the one I wanted and not my type either. I am soft hearted and there was no way I would send her back. She did her best which was OK. The damage was the same as Miruna, I think.
Tangara:
This clinica looked dumpy, yet I ended up going there twice. It was also the least expensive, at 107 BRLs, and the 2 lady managers were very friendly.
I think I lucked out my first time there as I stumbled into Isa. I just fell for that girl, so pretty, so sexy, yet so bitchy. In general, I don't mind bitchy girls as long they have the goods, and she did. She was just my type, and I made sure to have a great time with her. I made her laugh several times, and that did the trick.
I went back for Isa on Sunday but I did not see her. After half an hour, I gave up and settled on Isis. She was not bad at all, and was even funny. When I requested DATY, she replied with a resounding no, indicating it was her turn to perform and that I will get my turn later. She also requested that I better pay attention to her performance. Never got my turn, as I really enjoyed her BBBJ performance. After such a performance, FS was the only logical next step. Junior would not want it any other way.
They definitely can use newer mattresses at this place, what they have now is horrible.
Brooklin:
This clinica had the best lineup on this trip. Many chicks were my type, and that made it difficult to pick one. Luisa was there to help. She took a liking to me, and she guessed that I was from the US. She started to tease me, every time she came to the reception, for one reason or another.
She ended up giving me an outstanding session, second only to my bitchy Isa. We connected really well and laughed quite a bit during the session.
Boates:
Based on my reading, Scandallo was going to be my first pit stop. I was very impressed with that place. So much eye candy, I was overwhelmed. It was so difficult to pick a chick, and I also got the impression that the chicks were picky. I am no Spring chicken either. Eventually, with the help of the mighty alcohol, I mustered enough courage to engage Gisele, a hot blonde MILF. We hit it off right away, and off to the races. I had a nice session with her, albeit a bit expensive. The total bill was over 900 BRLs.
Cafe Photo:
I had to visit this club. A monger buddy of mine told me so much about it. Unfortunately, I showed up around 9:30 pm, which was a bit early. There was only one other customer, at a nearby table with 2 chicks. There were enough girls roaming around the bar. I made the mistake of sitting at a table, so I could not take a good look at the girls. I also ordered rum and coke, instead of beer, my favorite drink. Later, I saw some local customers drinking beer at the bar.
After a while, I settled on 4 girls as potential candidates. I particularly liked a slim, tall blonde. I kept making eye contact with her and smiling to no avail. I just assumed she was waiting for a younger candidate. She and her friend eventually left for greener pasture. After about an hour, they came back and sat at a nearby table. By that time, I have had enough alcohol to feel brave, and without hesitation called my slim blonde in. Julia promptly joined me and after a little while, I felt sorry for her friend and asked her to join us as well. Big mistake! I have had 3-somes in the past, but her friend did not appeal to me.
Eventually, after some arduous negotiations, we were off to a nearby hotel. As I had suspected, Julia's friend was just not my type, confirmed after she got naked. Julia, on the other hand was as hot as I had expected, and some more. Julia was busy taking a shower, so I had a helping of her friend, some BBBJ and DATY. Eventually, Julia joined us and I turned my attention to her. I could not have enough of this girl. Her friend soon gave up on the 3-some, as I was completely focused on Julia. I had a great time and went home with a big smile on my face, and thinking what a lucky bastard I was.
Overall impressions: I liked Sampa and really liked the people there, very friendly. Unfortunately, the place is fairly far from the US, and Medellin has been for a while now my main mongering destination in South America. My Spanish has improved, and I have quite a few favorites there. I also get my own apartment there, making it much easier to entertain. I have a feeling I will be back in Sampa soon.
The con: I have had Asian fever ever since my first trip to Asia. I was disappointed that I did not stumble into a nipo-Brasileira on this trip. But, that's another excuse for coming back to this lovely city.
Sounds like a great trip. I also stayed at the Mercure SP Moema being a member of the LE Club AccorHotels. It is a sort of aparthotel with a small kitchenette where I prepared my breakfast and dinner most of the time. On my first visit to SP I had the same problem finding Enjoy that you did. When you were at the gas station you were about three minutes away, LOL. Abbobora is about a five minute walk from Miruna and I would have thought worth a visit. I never did get to the boites as my emphasis was on financial conservation. Can't wait to head back to Brazil.

I was not disagreeing with you, in any way, re the recommended strategy of booking established providers with reviews in Jardins and Moema. That IS the recommended strategy for any visitor. I only mentioned that I personally deviate from that strategy be / see I have the luxury of time to experiment with a higher risk reward strategy. Re the sites that you list. I am familiar with all of them. Most of them are just running on fumes. They have ancient postings that they never remove and they steal photos and numbers from other sites in order to enlarge their "catalogue". I know girls that have paid for ads on clubmodel and malicia, but other sites have copied these ads even though she is not paying them. PhotoAcompanhantes is the clear leader for the following reasons:
- They have a well organized site with all the filter options you could possible want.
- It is mobile friendly.
- They have a "denounce" action so that readers can denounce false announcements. Thereby reducing the number of false ads.
- Its self serve for providers, they can create an announcement in minutes directly online, no need to interface with site admins etc.
- Most importantly, they have a freemium approach, so any girl can create an ad for FREE, and then optionally pay in order to have the ad "boosted" to the top of the list periodically.
The combination of self service and freemium plan make this the only site really worth visiting these days. The others have eye candy, but I wager that 90% or more of the active providers have announcements on PhotoAcompanhantes. They may have ads on the other sites as well, but there is little value in wading through the other sites, when PhotoAcompanhantes is effectively a superset of the other sites, minus the dead wood that clog the other sites.

Armed with the knowledge imparted onto me by AltoBomGosto, Turgid, and Balboa I set off to Brazil first in Sao Paulo for a 14 hour layover and then Salvador.

Never heard of Casters, checked gpguia and its last review was in 2017, not impressive. Located far from center, would not recommend.
Casarao is really the only reliable Sunday night option in SP itself.

They are like a 40 minute flight apart and the airfare is ridiculously cheap. Fly into one and fly out of the other works great. Both have plenty of virtues. IMO Sao Paulo has easily more beautiful women than any city in the World. However, it is a enormous City with all the hassles you might imagine. Traffic is just ridiculous. If you're taking taxis all around the City, it will drive you nuts. It can also be very expensive, though there are plenty of affordable options also. I'd probably splurge for one night at Scandallo, but I'd also hit some of the much cheaper options.
OTOH, Rio is a vacation city with the beach and spectacular landscape. It has a much more relaxed feel. My recommendation would be to fly into Sao Paulo for a few days and try out various venues. Then move on to Rio and hang out on the beach and try a different termas each day. Also, like many other destinations, the online scene (Facebook, Tinder, escorts, etc) has become huge. Rio may not be as good as it was 15 years ago, but it's still a great destination.
Just a couple points that I hope might be helpful.
The easiest intro normally for a first timer to Brazil is Rio, and more specifically Copacabana or one of the adjacent areas like Ipanema or Botafogo. The downsides is that Rio's economy has hit rock bottom and there is more crime than usual, so more caution is needed on the street or the beaches. The other downside is that prices are not what they used to be. The clinicas are still good value, but this does mean that apart from Copa (when many people speak English) you need to navigate Centro and it's multipurpose high-rises and behave appropriately.
Rio, the southern part used by tourists, can be grasped fairly readily with a bit of effort though. (Search the forum for Spertos maps as well if you can).
SP by comparison is the largest city in the Southern Hemisphere. It is huge, by any standards. Transportation system is well-designed and fully integrated the travel card is probably the best in the world but it will need patience and a little study the first time, and especially adjusting travel times to avoid if possible the rush hours. The great advantage is that mongering is more stable, well organised, good value for money and you are not likely to get ripped off. For general tourism, it helps if you are interested in the Arts, fine dining, that sort of thing. There's no beach unless you travel quite a love big way Paulistanos tend to be well-educated, much like Europeans, they are also very polite and expect the same (Brazilian politeness: ie, dress down, speak softly, start conversations are even casual greetings will "Good day, how are you?" (Bom DIA; tudo bem?) Failures in this respect will appear to go unnoticed but you will be marked down as what the Brits call a chav and the Americans a redneck.
While service providers in SP are great value, you may need to watch you budget on hotels and eating out.
FKKs vs Brazil is a common query but the wrong question. The two are completely different. Also, Brazilian SPs abroad are not indicative of mongering when they are at home in Brazil. It's culture, nit nationality. The only similarity is deluxe premises if that is your thing, which you can find in all the best termas and FKKs. Brazilians are very outgoing by nature. Germans and Eastern Europeans are not. Your experience in either country is improved if you speak German or Portuguese but they are still a different type of experience (both overpriced in my opinion, as there is good, better priced options in both countries) but both are something that most mongers should try at least once. You have to try both before you can compare, honestly.
By the way it's cold in SP just now, whereas Germany is enjoying very sunny weather.

I live in Moema and can WALK to no less than 9 clinicas. They are a few blocks apart from each other. And they are high end clinicas. TG and Brooklin are both 20 minutes, $5 by uber. Casarao about 30 minutes, $10-15 by uber. Uber is a game changer for mongers in sp. No worries about going to an out of the way clinica and getting hung out to dry because there are no nearby taxis. Even the metro is getting better. Actually I can now metro from moema to brooklins and soon from moema to vila Mariana which will be a option over uber during rush hour.
The big thing that screws a lot of visitors is rush hour and staying in wrong place. If you want to visit daytime clinicas stay near them, don't stay in the center. Distance is not an issue late at night so you can always uber to casarao or other boates after 9 pm w out traffic issues. But don't put yourself in a position where you will be sitting in traffic every day at 5-7 pm.

I got into SP yesterday on Sunday and made it to Casarao. There are 3 other similarly styled boates within a few doors of Casarao but they all seemed to be less interesting. The entrance fee for Casarao was only 20 Reals, or 40 if you want to put that toward your bar tab and it opened at 10 PM. Overall the vibe in the place was nice. Good lights, music and dance floor, but not a super-high energy environment with a lot of people on the dance floor. Mostly just everyone standing on the side and chatting. I expected it to be bigger and have a separate chill out space but it was mostly just the bar and dance floor. By midnight there were at least 40 garotas present, I'd say ranging in looks between 6-8, mostly towards the lower end of that scale. Only spotted a few 8's and no one higher than that, but of course everyone has their own preferences.
I was quoted a price of 250 Reals plus an extra 40 for the room, from a pretty friendly girl but decided not to partake tonight. All in all seemed like a fun spot but kinda quiet. Which might just have been because it was a Sunday. I'll be back to check it out throughout the week and see how it picks up.
I like both cities because I like Brazil and I like cities. There is enough info here on the forum for any newbie to make a choice (if need to choose). This discussion comes up all the time. I can't think of two mongering destinations that are compared more.
It's very simple in my head. Likely a tourist in Rio will stay in Copa or Ipanema (or very nearby). It's not a stretch that this might feel like a Brazilian Miami Beach. Not exactly, but similar. On cloudy days or days off from the beach, I find many things to do. Rio is one of the most beautiful cities in the world from a geographic perspective. The mongering opportunities are ample.
Sao Paulo, on the other hand, is like a vast Brazilian New York City. Since I like cities, I can find daytime activities to keep me busy. However, I enjoy my non-mongering time in Rio far more. The mongering opportunities are greater than Rio. You will find more choices, various price levels, etc. Etc.
People are touching on language. Learning some Portuguese always goes a long way in both cities. I've walked into clinicas, termas and have not spoken a word of English and everyone has been very helpful reacting to my very limited Portuguese. They know why you are there. Uber is a game changer. No need to discuss where you are going and the best way to get there. No exchange of money.

The thing was that I was going out to the boites at night, and traffic was not bad at all. Like Rovnak said, I was expecting the absolute worst in terms of traffic, but other than the taxi drivers scaring the hell out of me with their "skills", traffic problems just did not materialize. I was very, very surprised after listening to just how bad Sampa traffic is and people taking helicopters to get from here to there. I had no major traffic challenges in Sampa (other than crazy taxistas), and I was quite amazed! Thought maybe I had gotten lucky somehow.

If you are visiting for work and are busy days then stay near work and take an uber to the clubs. Any zona sul neighborhood is reasonable distance to the night spots. I don't find anything appealing about staying in thr centro, its pretty dirty imo but I know some people that like it. If you like busy normal nightclubs and bars then itaim Bibi, vila Olympia and vila Madelena are options.

There's some eye candy on the street and it's a short walk to the large Park Ibirapuera.

I think it matters what one is looking to do during the day, where they want to dine, etc. HarvestBoi stated that he prefers boates to clinicas. If he decides that he wants to drop into clinicas every day to check out the various line-ups, he should definitely consider staying in Moema.
Jardins is a dense commercial (Avenida Paulista) and residential area which is great for walking. It's also where most business people and tourists stay as evidenced by the number of hotels, but you won't get a neighborhood feel. Perhaps staying in Moema will feel more authentic and laid-back (for Sao Paulo that is).
HarvestBoi, I would plan your daytime and nighttime civilian activities. Your taking reasonable taxi rides to the boates no matter where you stay.

The last 4 stations That would connect Linha lilas to Vila Mariana and two lines there have been delayed. Officially they are still supposed to open in August but most likely delay some months more. The line is open and functioning in the direction from Moema to Brooklin, Santo amaro, Morumbi and campo limpo.

Therefore no need to write about things that you do not know.It was opened to operation last year and in May the Moema station was opened for passengers, before that it run until Eucaliptos (Shopping Ibirapuera). If you not aware, CPTM runs now from GRU (need to take a shuttle bus).
Don't get me wrong. I like Moema. I have colleagues who live in Moema. I've visited escorts and clinicas in Moema. In fact, there are dozens and dozens of escorts in the buildings from Jardins to Moema. I couldn't believe how many top escorts were walking distance from my hotels. It's so common (and of course legal), the reception desk people couldn't care less.
You have to realize there are different answers for a visitor depending on his daytime itinerary, is this his first time or twelfth time in SP and his preferences.
P.S.- Someone was talking up a completely different destination on a city forum here on ISG. It is actually a challenging city for mongers. As the conversation developed, you learned he was fluent in the language and has been there dozens of times. How he travels might not work well for a first-time, short-time visitor.

You have to realize there are different answers for a visitor depending on his daytime itinerary, is this his first time or twelfth time in SP and his preferences.
P.S.- Someone was talking up a completely different destination on a city forum here on ISG. It is actually a challenging city for mongers. As the conversation developed, you learned he was fluent in the language and has been there dozens of times. How he travels might not work well for a first-time, short-time visitor.That is exactly why people here need to know exact and verified information to spend their time efficiently. Metro is a huge advantage during the peak traffic hours, despite that buses and taxis do have their own lines (not everywhere). Especially on Friday evenings.

Those are all walking distance on the shopping side of the avenida, Moema dos Indios. I consider these to be "high end", not because they are expensive, they are reasonable, but that they have great reception, excellent facilities and clean girls, most have line ups of about 10 girls, some less, some significantly more.
They are not as pricey as France Bel, The Palms or Lotus Lounge but I think those "elite" places are overpriced particularly as they do not do live presentations.
Not to mention Zeus Bar, Bahamas, and 6 swing clubs, and several trashier prives.

I can then metro to within walking distance of Brooklin, TG, new Redway, and many others including far away places like Butanta, Pompeia, Santana, and Analia Franco that have some great clinicas but are not worth the uber ride. More importantly it will offer a way to return to base if one is out of the neighborhood during rush hour and do not want to sit in traffic.

The problem I found with Moema was limited hotel options. Also, it could be quite noisy at night due to being close to an airport. I will try someplace else next time. I did like all the restaurant choices though!Airbnb can be your friend.

I have never once thought it had the best lineup and I have visited many of these places with fellow punters and none of them felt that Abbobora had the best lineup on the days we visited.
Chanes 57 is both a bar and a clinica. So you are just flat wrong there. If you want the clinica experience you just sit downstairs and ask for a apresentacao. If you want the bar experience you go upstairs. It is a superset of a clinica so this is a point in its favor not against in my argument.
Your other comments are just about your personal preferences, which are fine, but your prefs do not undermine my point that a visitor can walk to these 9 places from a base in Moema. I have my own preferred rank based on lineups at any given time but there is enough variety and tastes are such that neither you nor I can predict with certainty which lineup on any given day will seem "the best" to a visitor. To insist otherwise is to undermine your own expertise.

When I go from Brooklin (Shopping Morumbi) to Paulista, in peak hours I choose metro, although it usually is very crowded.

Remember, this thread started around the issue of where to base a stay. We all agree that traffic in SP at rush hour is horrible and avoiding it is desirable. To that end, my comments about Moema are directed at the visitor. You seem to disagree with me on what consitutes "walkable" and what constitutes "high end". Fine, lets discuss.
Walkable: depending on weather, I love walking. I have walked from Moema to Brooklin several times. Shopping Ibirapuera to Red is 2 km. 25 min walk for average person according to maps. I do it in less because I am a fast walker. I would much rather walk that than sit in traffic on 23 de Maio or pack into a metro at rush hour. Again that is the outler on the far edge of Moema. The others I mentioned are clustered nearer to shopping ibirapuera. Enjoy is 1.2 km, 15 min walk from Shopping. The other places are all closer to the Shopping. There are the distances, others can decide what is walkable for them depending on fitness and time available. I don't expect or recommend that one walk the entire 9 each day, but using Moema as a base, they are all walkable.
High End Clinica: I am writing this for the visitor who knows "massage parlor" in USA or elsewhere, and "clinicas" in Rio. By those standards the places I listed are factually high end. They all have nice reception with couches and coffee. They have presentations of live girls or books. They have showers in room, as opposed to hallway shower as is norm in Rio. They have air conditioning. The rooms are spacious, have decent beds, not massage tables. Again "high end" compared to Rio standard. They often have mirrors and sex chairs. They have 5-15 (or 20 in case of Red) girls to choose from, most from 18-30 and in good condition and providing good service. They have no pretense of manual only massage. Client is free to avoid massage entirely and just have pure sex, unlike "massage parlors" in many parts of world and even clinicas in Sao Paulo that charge the same for a hand job as these places charge for full service. The management in all of these places monitor performance. The girls rotate from place to place so there is no "best lineup". By comparison to an american massage parlor these places are all luxurious. By comparison to Rio clinicas these are all high end. I think that is factually true. I lived in Rio, I know Rio well. There are a few places in Rio that have similar standards but they are the exception there.
Now. Are these the "highest end" in Sao Paulo? Different question. I stated up front that there are "more pricey" places in SP. If you are a person that likes "luxury" and "exclusivity" then you might consider France Bel, The Palms and Lotus Lounge "higher end". If you are a person that thinks higher price equals better quality in puntering, then those places are higher end than the Moema "standard". But that is really a Sao Paulo insider debate. Are the girls better in those places than the Moema joints? The average "look" in The Palms and Lotus Lounge and Ouro is higher on average but they are twice as expensive. If a visitor wants to try them, by all means, I would as a visitor, but they are not clearly 2 x as better even though they charge 2 x in price. FWIW, in 2018 I did a girl at Mirunas on Sunday (free lance day) for 170 and the next night saw her at Bomboa where she wanted 600 per hour. I saw another free at Mirunas for 170 that now charges 400 per hour on web site. Its all relative and its all in flux when it comes to SP "insider" details.
IMO SP has 4 categories of clinicas / prives:
Trash places with small rooms and dirty.
Sao Paulo hand job places. Which are overpriced unless you are really looking for nuru or lingam massage.
"Sao Paulo standard" which imo is "high end" relative to massage parlors globally, and compared to "Rio standard".
"Sao Paulo elite" which are be / t 500-600 $BR and usually have books instead of presentation.

It will be more convenient when it is extended.I agree with you that at this point in time, the metro access from Moema to the rest of the city is less convenient than from Jardins, assuming one is based near a metro entrance. But that advantage is due to expire as soon as the remaining 4 stations open and connect Moema to Vila Mariana and 2 more lines. That may be this month or it may not be till the end of the year as they are dicking about with the final stages of construction.

Sundays are pot luck, lots of free lancers, some you can see no other time, some are boate girls looking for extra cash. Sundays are usually shorter hours 12-7 for example, and girls leave early, so really Sunday is best from 1-4.

You can buy a chip at several metro station (usually 5-7 reais) or directly at TIM store (10 reais) and activate. Do not fill your balance in metro station when purchasing, it might not be in your account. A minimum of 15 reais payment. I use TIM.

You would have to stay at a neighborhood AirBnB or an extremely budget hotel where you will still be dealing with taxis. A gringo doesn't want to walk around Gloria late at night. Scandallo is a big club in the middle of a relatively quiet and residential neighborhood.
If you tell us exactly what you want to do with your time besides Scandallo, we can give you better advise.
Your question reminded me of the days when guys would stay at a hotel near the old Help Disco in Rio and wouldn't leave a one block radius from the club. Of course, there was a beach full of thong-clad bunnies across the street. I'm going to go out on a limb and say you would get bored in Gloria.
Wasn't very impressed when I went to Casarão on Sunday but decided to stop back in tonight a little later. Showed up at 1 am and it was like a totally different place! Packed with people, lots of garotas. Still in the 6-8 range, don't think I saw any 9's or 10's but lots of options. They opened up a space in the back and downstairs and had a few pretty boring stage shows. But more action on the dance floor and it was hard to get a drink. Met a beauty with a great natural body. Danced for a bit and she was fun. She asked for Rs 250 and we went upstairs. But there was a line of at least 30 couples waiting to get into a room. So we went to a nearby hotel instead that had the same owners so the price was the same. Nice room, clean and mirrors on the ceiling which I absolutely love and my girl did not disappoint. A great night! She said Fri and Sat are so busy you can't even walk around. Might have to stop by to see how good it can get.
Thinking of going to one of the higher end clubs tonight though. Either Bomboa or Scandallos. Bomboa is a lot closer and more convenient but I really do want to see the best of the best. Is it worth making the trip to Scandallos? Is it that much better. Sounds like the cost is about the same.

However, I used google maps to make a circuit from Shopping Ibirapuera to Chanes 57, Clinica Carinas, Enjoy, Abbobora, Mirunas, Kamna and Moema Prime is a total circuit of 2.7 km. 35 min of walking according to google maps, and you wind up 3 blocks from the starting point at shopping. I omitted Rua Apamas 45 even though it is directly on that route because it is tiny. I also left out Red because it really is an outlier in terms of distance and distorts the route. As per your experience about not finding anyone at Red. I often find no one fuckable at many places. But I know the lineups are always in flux so I don't necessarily rule a place out after any particular visit. I included Red be / see it often has 15-20 girls in their lineup and usually there are several good ones for everyone's different tastes.
Rather than just criticise my contribution, why don't you tell us what you consider to be the "high end" clinicas in SP. List them please. Also give us exact distances from a fixed point and the number of girls at each one. I am joking about the location and number of girls. Just give us your "list" of high end clinicas. You don't need to provide any details, I am sure I know all of them and just want to see the names.
FWIW I pointed out that I tried to contextualize things in terms of relationship to Rio clinicas or USA for the sake of visitors and you say you don't care. Yet, you reprimanded Wyatt for not providing exact information to visitors. Not sure I understood your entire reply as you intended it. Its not really my job to figure out all the distances for everyone else that can use google on their own. However, I used google maps to make a circuit from Shopping Ibirapuera to Chanes 57, Clinica Carinas, Enjoy, Abbobora, Mirunas, Kamna and Moema Prime is a total circuit of 2.7 km. 35 min of walking according to google maps, and you wind up 3 blocks from the starting point at shopping. I omitted Rua Apamas 45 even though it is directly on that route because it is tiny. I also left out Red because it really is an outlier in terms of distance and distorts the route. As per your experience about not finding anyone at Red. I often find no one fuckable at many places. But I know the lineups are always in flux so I don't necessarily rule a place out after any particular visit. I included Red be / see it often has 15-20 girls in their lineup and usually there are several good ones for everyone's different tastes.
Rather than just criticise my contribution, why don't you tell us what you consider to be the "high end" clinicas in SP. List them please. Also give us exact distances from a fixed point and the number of girls at each one. I am joking about the location and number of girls. Just give us your "list" of high end clinicas. You don't need to provide any details, I am sure I know all of them and just want to see the names.
FWIW I pointed out that I tried to contextualize things in terms of relationship to Rio clinicas or USA for the sake of visitors and you say you don't care. Everyone has opinions and what is bad, good, pretty, ugly, value, overpriced, etc. Don't ever be discouraged to contribute your opinions or experiences. We have all been exposed to the opposite view, so what, we know more than most the variety that is out there. Posts are to point us in the right direction, then we as mongers have to take the initiative and find what places / service / girls we value and like.

Destructive because someones could not stand that my opinion is opposite? Or because someone posts not correct information (metro line,9 clinicas in few blocks distance) and I am not agree with that? I am helping readers who now might take a metro knowing that they can ride to Brooklin and through Moema with one connection (from CPTM) from Pinheiros, Vila Olimpia or Brooklin Novo. Then I help people who now can read that there are only 4-5 clinicas in a few block distance and the other are further away, to make their preferences for of the transportation mode and select most convienient clinicas. If poster was irritated about it, that is his problem, not mine.

And then at the end of the day, after you've read all of those nuggets of advice, you then need to go out and discover for yourself and find what works for you. For a long time only one person was posting anything in this thread. I think it's a much, much, much better thread now because we are garnering a larger collection of opinions. While there may not be five star Clínicas on par with scandaloo, there are definitely low end and high end Clínicas. The low end are sometimes referred to as trash. They tend to be a little cheaper, the selection is small and the shower is down the hall. For me, a higher end Clínica has a shower in the room, clean sheets, and a good sized lineup.
As for staying in Moema, be aware that most of the neighborhood is in the flight paths of the nearby airport. If you plan on working from home, you might want to consider another area. True, it is an easy walk to a number of Clínicas if you aren't disabled. And there are many food choices.
I have lived in Bela Vista, Vila Olimpia and am currently residing in Pinheiros. From here, I can catch the metro and get to the mall in Moema in a little under an hour. Today I caught an uber to tangara for 15 R, less than 5 $usd. I'the rather pay to commute than live under all of the airplanes. IMO, Sao Paulo is not my cup of tea. I know the Rio privés. I've been to São Paulo many times, but the city is just to big for my liking. No beaches, no morros etc. However I've done some sampling in São Paulo. Mainly trash privés in Centro, boates in Rua Augusta and regular girls. I've never tried all of your or AltoBomGostos recommendations.

While there may not be five star Clnicas on par with scandaloo, there are definitely low end and high end Clnicas. The low end are sometimes referred to as trash. They tend to be a little cheaper, the selection is small and the shower is down the hall. For me, a higher end Clnica has a shower in the room, clean sheets, and a good sized lineup.
As for staying in Moema, be aware that most of the neighborhood is in the flight paths of the nearby airport. If you plan on working from home, you might want to consider another area. True, it is an easy walk to a number of Clnicas if you aren't disabled. And there are many food choices.
I have lived in Bela Vista, Vila Olimpia and am currently residing in Pinheiros. From here, I can catch the metro and get to the mall in Moema in a little under an hour. Today I caught an uber to tangara for 15 R, less than 5 $usd. I'the rather pay to commute than live under all of the airplanes. For your first trip, and for a short time without speaking Portuguese, I'the recommend you stay near Av Paulista. It's a tourist attraction, close to other attractions and easy distance to Clnicas and clubs.Good points. Yes the airplane noise may be a deal breaker for visitors who are not accustomed to it. Very good point. The noise does vary significantly depending on how directly one is on the flight path and how well built is the dwelling. Noise is worse the nearer the airport. The clinicas I mentioned are clustered near the noisier section, probably to be convenient to the two arteries that pass by the airport. The airport is Comgonhas BTW, not GRU. Congonhas is a domestic airport which closes from midnight to 6 am, so there is no plane noise during the closed hours. There is usually a burst of activity in take offs and landings early morn and late afternoon, varying by day of week. But yes, this is a good factor. Residents are accustomed to the noise but visitors may not abide it. Yes, this is a huge point. Good thing you mentioned it.

I assume you mean the clinicas don't have the massive selection of eye candy as Scandalo, and that is undoubtedly true. As mentioned there are a few clinicas that do "purport" to have staffs of between 10-20 girls all of scandalo level beauty. Those clinicas are what I referred to as elite, my term, for their high price, luxury rooms, and elite staff. The standouts in that class are the palms and lotus lounge and ouro. I do not visit them as their 500 real price is not worth it for me. But I do know some visitors that have splurged and loved it. When I was a visitor to SP years ago, I also paid the higher price and felt it was well spent given the great time I had. So I finished up with Karina about 3:45 AM and thought — hey I can sleep when I'm dead. So I headed over to Casarao. First of all I thought it was prounounced like Say-zar-oh. Nope. Not even close. The cabbie called it Caza-Rao. Like the house of Rao. Anyhow we figured it out. Many folks have described this as somewhat low brow and compared to Scandallo it is. But holy fuck, what a scene. It is packed, as in squeezin between bodies, at 4 AM! Guys massively outnumber girls — maybe 3:1 but they mostly look like chumps just there for the view. If you have the coin it is no problem grabbing a hottie.
It does take a bit more prospecting and I recommend making the rounds rather than staying in one spot. I did three full founds of the club, over about an hour period before I found my hottie. I had the same experience there. It looked like I was visiting a jail, or maybe a house of ill repute. Thanks guys.Since you say you are from Pussy Prison (good ole USA) you should maximize your time. As long as you are ok registering the girls at the front desk, by all means, have a girl to your room. It's a different kind of experience. Have a nooner with her, log some recovery hours with a nice lunch and siesta and head to one of the others when they fill up at 3.
Believe me when I tell you these girls will get you going so taking another after a few hours is no big deal (though I have to say I was surprised I could still walk after 5 in 24 hours!) would I repeat? Hell yeah!

BTW, the 400-500 mentioned for The Palms was in R$ not USD, all prices mentioned are usually in R$.
When it comes to hours bear in mind that Brazilians are notoriously slack when it comes to promptness and time. Most everyone is late much of the time and it is just accepted as the norm. Sao Paulo is better than Rio in this regard but still, don't expect American level promptness, just roll with it. The clinicas usually open around noon, but due to above comment, the staff will drift into work. At places like Enjoy and Chanes which stay open till midnight, there are practically 2 shifts with some overlap. 2 PM is a good sweet spot, in that most daytime girls should be there by then and few customers. Really anytime be / t 1 and 4 is usually pretty good. When you arrive they will give you a presentation "apresentacao" of the girls available. A lot of first timer visitors fail to remember the names. I suggest having your phone open to a notes app and make notes as the girls come by, noting the names of the ones you are interested in. Once the presentation is done, the reception will ask "who do you like". Its perfectly ok to say "I think I will come back another time" and leave. "Vou voltar mais tarde" is a nice way to say "I'll come back later". They will not take offense. Do not make the mistake of being pressured into settling for just anyone. You can always return. Also, you can say "I am thinking", "estou pensando", and sit on the couch, have a free coffee and wait for the girls to come around again to get a second or third look as new customers come in. Finally, some girls may finish up with other customers and come out while you are waiting. Not sure how much you will manage with google translation but if possible try to see how many are working and how many are busy vs free.
Even if you are based in Moema, don't stick exclusively to those clinicas. By all means you should check out Tangara 200, and Brooklin Massagem at least. Those places have large selections. They are very popular amongst locals and visitors. I would plan to visit those places during off peak hours (1-4 pm) as well, and then you still have fall back options in Moema during rush hour (5-8).
An important note. I assume you will have whatsapp. When you visit the clinicas you can ask the reception for their whatsapp number. Some have a whatsapp group, some have just direct whatsapp contact. They are pretty good at pushing out periodic status updates which list who is working during the day, including some photos. Some are better at this than others. Tangara has a group, and Moema Prime has very active updates. The others are less reliable and sometimes I have to poke them on whatsapp to send a "lista atualizada" . "manda lista atualizada por favor". Although there is a lot of turnover in the staffs at all of these places, during any week the core group of girls within an establishment will be pretty stable, so don't expect new girls every day at every place.
Anyway, the important thing is to sample as much as you can and be flexible. Based on your tastes your plans will evolve naturally. You may wind up just loving the boates and hating the clinicas or vice versa, or like Steve, repeating privately with some girls that you meet at the boates. Depending on your budget, Casarao, Scandalo, Bomboa and Photo are night options. And there are many clinicas outside of Moema to sample if the Moema supply is not sufficient. Tangara, Brooklin, Kin, Ceci, Nara, Redway, Palms etc. Somewhere in this forum someone posted a link to an overall putaria map for all of Sao Paulo. Its worth locating.

Very few are bait and switch but many are not as pretty as the photos might suggest. Still, you might take a flyer at one or more of these, you can arrange by whatsapp and if you go to their place you can always just leave if they are clearly bait and switch. Bear in mind, when visiting some of these residences you may need to present your ID to the front desk or "portaria" and they will ring you up etc. Depends on residence or hotel set up.
A final tip. Assuming you use android, the google translation feature is nicely integrated into all apps (needs to be enabled in config), so that when you copy any text, a google translate action icon will appear and you can translate without leaving the current app. This is particularly helpful for multi lingual whatsapp conversation.

Rovnak is spot on as usual. To echo a few comments of his:
1 Photoacompanhantes is great. But set the filter to "girls with reviews" and even then ignore anyone with less than three — they are usually fake. Or just get Mary Ninfeta and call it a day.
