Sticking with my plan to alternate between something old and something new, I decided to hit the Bahamas Hotel Club next. This is another place I had not been to that I found out about by reading the reports of others. The address is Rua dos Chanes, 571, which happens to be nearly identical to the address for Chanes 57 (Rua dos Chanes, 57). In fact, what the taxi driver did was take me to Chanes 57, even though I had clearly shown him the correct address for the Bahamas Hotel Club with the name of the club written on the piece of paper I gave him. He turned his cab around and took me back down to the other end of the street where I wanted to go. I said I would not return to Chanses 57, and I meant it ha!
There was a nice older lady working reception at Bahamas who was helpful and ready to explain everything. She spoke Spanish, so that helped a lot. There were three options for gaining entrance to the club. Option 1 was to pay a basic entrada fee of 150 reals. Or, per option number 2, with a consumo fee of 150 reals, the entrance fee came down to about 100 reals. Option number 3, I didn't quite understand or get everything that she was telling me. But what I could make of it, if you paid some super consumo fee of like 500 reals, that entitled you to access to a lot more house services, but exactly what I wasn't really sure of. If anybody else reading has been to this club, then maybe you can clarify. Anyway, I went with option 2. The lady explained further that the on-premises hotel charged 65 reals per hour for a room (I did not session so cannot comment on what the rooms are like). Also did not get into any "negotiations" with any of the girls regarding their price for the pussy.
Upon entering the main area of the club, I was a little surprised by how small it was. I expected it to be a lot larger based on what I had seen on the internet. The next best session I had was at Prime. Not only in prime location, walking distance from my Airbnb, low key, helpful mama san and great line up. If I recall they recently raised their prices but still lower than Aboborra. I went with MILFY looking named 'Luma' and another time with a GND looking moonlighting on the weekends. Total GFE and no upsell. I love these places -totally worth the time and money. They also had awesome line up and literally hard to decide between the talent.
To get out of the neighborhood just to sample what the scene is like, ended up at clinica walking distance from Sao Judas metro station. The area is not upscale but safe and they also had a solid line up. Went with a 30 something tall with lovely big curly hair. Totally into the session and no upsell. The facilities at this place were not up to par with Moema ones but the line up and pricing made it worth the trip. It also taught me how to use the SP metro!
I'd definitely go back if I can, hopefully when it is summer in Brazil. I didn't go to any places that don't start operating until midnight! I get up at 6:30-7 AM and need my sleep.
If anyone interested in the Moema airbnb I stayed in please PM me. Solid place with half the price of the hotel with all the amenities of a hotel and walking distance to all the clinicas in the area and metro.

Honestly I do not understand why Abbobora gets so much love on this site. Is got great facilities but its more expensive and the lineup is not better than Moema Prime, or Enjoy which are sufficiently close that I would recommend visiting all three. Don; t make the mistake of judging a place's lineup quality based on one or two visits, I see these lineups month in month out and they all have some lookers, so much turnover and girls attending other clients that unless you visit a place every day for a week you will not know the lineup thoroughly. I have personally not seen anyone in Abbobora that I felt was worth the premium over similar quality in Enjoy or Prime. And at least 5 mongers that visit regularly routinely go to all those three places when in Moema.Please don't take my endorsement of Abbobora as in any way dissing the other two. My impression is that the three are the trifecta of higher end clinicas. I was only able to pick one (I am primarily a Boate man) and chose A with E and P being close contenders. I am sure they are very fine or even better on a given day.
Sometimes the site software changes what is written into something unintelligible. Like the Portuguese word for "ass", which is similar to the Spanish word "culo", but without the "lo" on the end. The software changed that in my Bomboa post to "see you". Geez. Got to remember that it does that next time. Also, somehow "kissing and sucking on my chest" came out as "kissing and sucking on my sex". Although, that could have just been me making a slip up though. I try to catch all the mistakes, but don't always succeed. Anyway, would I go back to Bomboa again? Hell yes! Overall it wasn't as good as in the past, including the service from the wait staff, but it only takes one girl to make a visit to any one place worthwhile, and meeting and sexing Ana Paula was like smacking a grand slam home run right out of the ballpark to win the game in the bottom of the ninth!
Speaking of the wait staff, just before I left the club, the really good English-speaking member of the staff followed me into the bathroom. He asked me if I thought Ana Paula was hot. I said yes she's hot. I asked if he agreed, but he said only my opinion mattered. Then the guy asks if I would consider giving him a tip. Now, I know these guys are not supposed to be taking tips from the clients. That's my understanding, and I had never been asked for one before. Somebody here once wrote that they tried to tip somebody out on the open floor, and the staff member politely declined saying they could not take tips. This has to be why the guy followed me into the men's room. I thought about it, and he had been helpful on this and other occasions. But, he had also been a part of the screw-up on my dinner order. I gave him a 20 reals note, and that's it. He expressed gratitude.

Long time coming, finally made it to SP. Thanks to all who helped me with tips on where to go and where to stay. I zeroed in on Indianapolis / Moema (depending on what map you look at!) and didn't have to go elsewhere because of abundance of options withing walking distance. Although the weather sucked a couple days and hit a national holiday, still managed to sample 3-4 clinicas. I had best looking girl in Aboborra. I ended up there because Miruna wasn't yet open. Although a little steeper pricing structure, the facilities and line up was solid. Due to lack of my Portuguese and general listening comprehension issues haha, after the second girl, I had no idea what the names of the rest 7-8 girls were. Mamasan helped with showing some pictures when I couldn't recall the name of brunette clad in PVC pants with that Brazilian bunda on full display -loved her slim curvy figure, not a big fan of bolt ONS but here overall package was great. 3. Monte Carlo.
4. Solarium, and others.

No question that the optics and the service level is very, very good at Globe. But you can get the same in Germany which has so many more clubs to choose from to begin with. Oh, and us Brazil lovers know that optics and performance in Brazil is superior to Zurich at lower prices! And you can find them in all shapes, sizes, and colors in Brazil. Even with the smaller, flatter butts if you like (as my "alternative facts" photos prove). Word!

Although, the word termas translates to spa that is not an accurate description. Men usually don't go to termas for the amenities. If a termas offers any amenities they usually are not that good. Weak massages, so-so steam baths. Monte Carlo offered both of these. The women also don't walk around naked.
What you typically will find is scantily-clad Brazilian women, a bar, some food, loud music and possibly a short sexy stage or pole dance by some of the girls. If you are interested in more specifics, you should inquire on the Rio de Janeiro thread.

OK I was remembering wrong. These were Boates. One was a sauna (American Bar I think is the name). All of them trash bars like I remembered, but before I remembered you could find a gem here and there. Not anymore apparently. There's a relatively new place (Casarao) on the street that I assume is the reason as it soaks up all the talent on that stretch. I ended up liking Casarao so much (it was awesome every night of the week) that it was essentially my only destination for the entire trip. Price to quality ratio was far from what I remembered of the high end shops. I found enough 8-9's to choose from in Casarao that I didn't bother even checking out the high end joints with the higher pricing structure. Scandalo / Bomboa / etc.
BTW I understand why no one answered my post here (I had a total of 1 post) . So I thought ID put up this info even though this thread got no replies before.
Some years ago, I forget how many (3, 5, 10? There was a string of saunas (walking distance between them) along Rua August in el Centro. I can't remember the names of them. Strangely, I can't find any mention of them on the forum and I'm sure this forum must have been the way I found them way back when. Are they still around? Any thoughts on quality / safety / etc?

The reason guys visit forums like this one is a shared interest, the same is true of clubs like Globe or even a termas like Centaurus in Rio. The price limits who will be in the club and also with whom you will be sharing the women. I have friends from around the world whom I met in these places. Interestingly, rarely inside or outside the clubs do we discuss women. So, a common interest brings us together, price limits whom we will encounter but that we met in basically a brothel does not dictate the nature of our ongoing relationships. Not unlike upscale country clubs in the United States.

It has bigger lineup in addition to better facilities compared to Prime. Optically most of the lineup is below Prime.
When I was in scandallo, I invited a few girls that I like to sit chat and drink with me, and also got their contacts. Since I was currently with a girl in the club, I told them I will contact them the next day. One girl from Curitiba offered me 1500 for 4 hours + her other friend for 800 for 4 hours. So I kinda hit the jackpot. Another girl I contacted gave me a price of 1200 for 4 hours, before she starts work in the club. Too bad there was some communication problem as she did not know I was trying to tell her don't go to scandallo so early and spent time with me before going.

Like Lalabo, one of my goals with this trip is to do a little scouting. The mongering scene is Sao Paulo is large, and I admit I have sampled only a small part of it. So, I'm making sure to mix in some places I have not been to before along with others that I already know I like.
I spent three hours hanging out at The Connection Nightclub. While there, I had three drinks and an appetizer that I shared with a girl. When I left, my final bill was 260 reals. That was about $65 for the night, plus roundtrip taxi fare at about 70 reals each way. Like I said, if I had the opportunity, I would give The Connection Nightclub another try on another night. Lots of 7's and 8's at more potentially more favorable prices than at places like Scandallo, Bomboa, and Cafe Photo.Thanks for doing real scouting unearthing potential new gems. Mine was not much of scouting (maybe personal scouting for future). As it was my first trip I chose not to be adventurous, just tried the most talked about clinics and boates.
I will definitely check out Connection during my next trip.

Entrance / min consumption paid on exit 60 Rs.
Exit Tax to take garota off premises other than "hotel" next door 100 Rs.
Rooms 40 min = 40 Rs. 1 HR = 80 Rs.
Chicas start out with Rs 250-300 for 40 minutes and Rs 400-500 for 1 HR. This can be fairly easily negotiated down to 200 Rs /40 min or 300 Rs / HR. Even lower is possible but starts putting them in a pissy mood.
Some of the girls will try to make you think the first tier is 30 minutes if they size you up as green. This is easy to shut down. Just correct them and say its 40 minutes.
If you want all night, get their number and followup the next day to avoid exit tax. It was fairly easy (but did take some firm negotiating) to get all nights for 600 Rs starting about 9 pm and lasting till morning wake up (9 am or so for me). For a 600 Rs all night it has to be the right night. The average garota pulls an average of 1100-1400 Rs nightly on Thurs / Fri / Sat so enticing them away from club on those nights would be pricey. Oh on the 600 Rs all nights plan on a fairly pricey meal. They're going to want to eat and it ain't going to be Burger King.
So some all in examples.
Recon. Couple of 40 minute sessions to check out talent and get phone # - (garota / room / house) 200+40+60= 300 x 2 sessions = 600 Rs ($150 USD).
All nighter two garotas - (garaotas / uber / meal) - 600*2 + 50 + 100 = 1330 Rs ($330 USD).
Hate to take up space with a non-info message, but a huge thanks for all of the trip reports and information. My first time visit is not until February and I have read back 200 pages both on this and the Rio thread. I have to now re-read them all and take notes of the procedure and costs on each location.

I enjoy the hunt.
In Rio I love the Cariocas; the mulata, the moreninha, the bronceada with sexy tan lines.
Both cities are great!
On a pure monger basis, yes I'm sure SP has more availability, however, I'll take Rio for overall ambience, relaxation, beach, etc.
Just my perspective from a non high end club scene type of guy.

Again, maybe its changed, but for as long as I have gone there the official times are 1/2 hour and hour. Now, you note that some of the girls say 30 minutes and some say 40 minutes, and you imply that the ones that say 30 are deceiving. In fact, the ones that say 30 minutes are being more honest than the ones that say 40 minutes. Its a real annoying thing, I agree, to hear different times from different chicks. As I understand it, having heard this from numerous girls, the official time is 30 minutes BUT the girls think they can stretch it to 40 minutes by ignoring the desk ringing the room phone for a few minutes. Now bear in mind you have to shower twice within that time. So its actually the girls that "claim" its 40 minutes that are exaggerating a bit. I think you will get the same amount of time from both the girls that say 30 and the ones that say 40. Once the desk starts ringing that phone it gets too annoying to stay longer and its time to shower. I always do an hour so I don't have too much first hand experience with the half hour "grace period".
Garotas: again maybe there has been an increase but what I was seeing routinely was the proposition 200 1/2 hour and 300 1 HR. Occasionally some would ask for 250/350 but I was never asked for more. They also don't drop lower than 150 1/2 and 250 hour, maybe 200 if you are are super charmer or they are desperate.
As for the all night, outside the club stuff, that ranges all over the price range, but your reported experience seems reasonable.

In São Paulo my favorites are Tangará, near Jardins and Moema, 120 reais for a half-hour, about 25 girls available as average. And If you like nightlife go to Espaço Vergueiro on Thursdays and Fridays are the best days. 170 reais for one hour. About some 10/12 girls available.

From your response and reading previous reports it seems there have been some changes at Casarao. The entrada is now a 40+20.40 I think is the entrada and 20 the min consumption (or the other way around? Doorman made a big deal of pointing to the sign saying as much so apparently its new and he wants to make sure its clear on entry.
At the hotel next door they only collect the money for the room and they collect it directly from you. Everything else is strictly between you and the garota. Apparently this is new? As far as the 40 minutes issue, I asked for 40 minutes at the desk, after which they asked for 40 Rs. They never corrected me to say its 30 minutes. Cuarenta is Cuarenta in both Portugese and Spanish so I'm sure we all understood each other, and I did look at the clock start and finish on the 40 minute sessions (several times anyway) and they were indeed 40 minutes when the buzzer went off. So I was lucky (at least several times over a few weeks) or its a new structure. I did notice that the girls didn't seem to mind taking activities all the way to the buzzer and then showering. Got a few reminder buzzers during clean up but nobody seemed overly pissed about it.

First of All a huge thank you to ABG, he showed me around for a few days and I thought it was easy getting around on the metro or using Uber.
I went mostly to 3 Clinicas and was TOTALLY happy with the quality of women and prices 120/ half HR 170/ full hour all gave BBBJ nothing asked they just Do it. A couple would do CIM but I was getting tired since I was travelling screwing the last 3 weeks. I went 3 different days to Tangara and loved every minute of it. Although, the word termas translates to spa that is not an accurate description. Men usually don't go to termas for the amenities. If a termas offers any amenities they usually are not that good. Weak massages, so-so steam baths. Monte Carlo offered both of these. The women also don't walk around naked.

Thinking about trying airbnb or similar next trip to Sao Paulo. I am looking at "entire place to myself" options. I noticed some have "additional rules". I am narrowing down the list based on.
1) not considering anything with rules against visitors in room.
2) not considering anything with more than a couple of paragraphs of "additional rules" (just seems like a red flag to me).
3) not considering anything that says that they need a copy ID of guest and "companion" at least 24 hours in advance.
Any others I should throw out?
If they don't explicitly have rules against guests or pre authorization requirements, what are the odds Ill have trouble getting multiple different visitors in on different nights?
Any other Airbnb advice anyone can offer (especially Sao Paulo specific).

1. If you order Jack and Coke they charge you for the Jack and the Coke separately. USD $27 (It you drink it neat instead you can save some bucks).
2. If you go up by the stage on the right there is a little step you can stand on there. 80% of the garotas do a cycle where they pass by there. Great for shopping!

Apologies for a repost but with the Scandallo discussion I was reminded of one of the best nights of my life anywhere on the planet. (This past summer) Plus it contains some good tips. Enjoy!
So it's the very last night of my trip and where else would I choose to go but Scandallo? I was drag ass tired and considered not going. What a mistake that would have been. So, professional that I am, I powered thru.
I roll up around 11 PM and it's quite packed like one would expect. First I spend a bit of time on the patio. It's more relaxed out there, before the crush of the club. A few pretty girls that are maybes but no one lights me up.

Since there is a good discussion about Scandallo, I will write about my one time experience there during a recent trip. My intention is not to persuade or dissuade anyone about Scandallo, just my impression of the place.
Went on a Thursday night and paid the R250 entrance fee. This place is huge compared to the likes of 4 x 4 and Casarao. What I love the most is its very spacious and has lots of comfy sofas to relax in. I counted about 100 or so girls, not the 200 girls ISG member Steve9696 reported. The main bar / seating area was packed with girls and male clients. Light skinned girls dominated the scene with only a few japas and mulatas / negras (not sure if I even saw one negra). The majority of the girls were dressed in formal night gowns, very elegant and classy. There was a healthy interaction between the male clients and the girls, drinking, talking, laughing, and just having a good time in general. The vibe and atmosphere were like that of a regular nightclub. With all that being said, to say that I was not impressed by the girls quality is an understatement. I had two very positive experiences recently with GPS from Twittter. I basically follow O andralinho on twitter. I figure whoever he retweets is legit (tho all may not suit my taste).

I am back in the wonderful city.
1) Visited Tangara and Nova Ceci. Both are still wonderful, plenty of reports about them, so I have nothing meaningful to add.
2) Finally made my way to Espao Vergueiro. To me it seemed very similar to the places in Rio. I don't recall any signs on the outside, there's a black metal door with a huge bouncer. He gives plastic cards with numbers. That number will be used to charge drinks and other things on the inside. There was no entrance fee.
Once inside, a dimly lit bar room with a counter, some tables, some chairs, and some girls. No one spoke English but with help from my good friend Google we managed. Girl+room costs 120 for half an hour As I don't drink alcohol, I didn't order anything, however, girls' beers drinks are 15 reais. The girl I was going with wanted me to buy her a beer, I told her no, but she snuck one in anyway. I thought about making some drama but decided against it when I saw the price of the beer on the final bill. Plus the way she was enjoying that beer made it clear that she simply wanted a beer, rather than trying to stick a charge to a foreigner.
However, there is a wait. I had to wait about 20 minutes for the room. But I took two girls with me. I am glad I did. momondo.com and skyscanner.com are your friends. Sometimes one throws up cheaper fares that the other misses.
Just don't book it too far in advance. Fares constantly fluctuate, I've seen sub-$900 fares departing in 2-3 days. If your schedule is flexible, you can make it very reasonable.
Also SP is a great home base to explore other cities in Brazil. Congonhas airport is about 10 minutes from Moema, serves only domestic flights, is very efficient, and it's perfectly possible to show up there half an hour before departure and still have the time for a coffee and a cheese ball. Provided you check in on your phone in advance.

When I was there I didn't see anybody in a tie, only a couple of guys in jackets and with a few exceptions, nobody in jeans or "backpacker " ware. I generally wore slacks and a button up shirt and felt quite at home. The entry fee keeps a lot of the scruffier looking people out. My sense is they were pretty relaxed about it.

Went yesterday about 2 PM. There were 22 names on the chalk board. Probably saw most of them during the time I was there. Because it was raining that night, I decided to bite the bullet and change into their pants. The pants, which were about 3 inches too big on the waist and 3 inches short on the length, looked comical on me.
