This is great advice below on how and where to pick-up Portuguese. One caveat though: I did the Pimsleur audio courses after I had made many trips to Brazil. Pimsleur requires a bit more engagement. So one needs to be committed to making regular visits to Brazil to make it worthwhile.
And yes, hanging out with garotas who don't speak much English accelerates learning the language.
Yep, Pimsleur is a pretty good Portuguese language course and was what I started out with at first. I later moved on to use Michel Thomas Method (MTM) Portuguese course and found it a bit more explanatory in Portuguese conversational usage. MTM is a bit more Portugal Portuguese focused on pronunciation. Both are good to purchase and you won't be disappointed with either.

I landed in SP this week and at GRU airport masks were optional and half the airport is closed. Kinda scary and the government just extended the entry restriction to May 28. I can see the Real hitting 6.0.
I thought they would give me hard time at the passport checkpoint but the girl did not say a word to me with my BR document. Seems the guys at passport check want to ask questions more.

Need to confirm the date.Sorry that was not clear in your first post that is why I asked for clarification. Any type of visa, even a tourist visa can be considered a "BR document", so "BR document was ambiguous and I was confused, as there have been conflicting reports on this site re travel.
Cheers.

Plus it basically includes information from the majority of countries within the world, not just Brazil. BTW, Brazil has extended there ban on allowing regular tourists from entering Brazil for an additional 30 days from the original closure, which now goes to the 28th of May. That being said, who is to say they may have another extension after that depending on the statistics and the flattening of the curve. Hope this helps.

Have you test driven your favorite librarian?I too absolutely love the Brazilian colloquial term 'test drive' and decided long ago to co-opt it as my own...haha.
But speaking of 'librarians', reminds me (back in the day 2004?) of a short thin morena cutie in Fortaleza with average looks and a very nice rack (I won't soon forget), that I lived with for about a month, who was studying to become a history teacher and just loved the library. Well not exactly 'test driving' my favorite librarian as you put it, but close enough...kkk
Thanks for the memories!! I hadn't thought about her in a while...Ahhh, yes that rack of hers!!!...kkk

As for considering buying a flight, customers are in a good situation considering American Airlines current flexible policy. There is less risk, and more flexibility considering the circumstances. On a related topic, even Airbnb is being more flexible with their policies for both hosts and potential guests.

As for considering buying a flight, customers are in a good situation considering American Airlines current flexible policy. There is less risk, and more flexibility considering the circumstances. Sounds like American is a bit more generous to their customers than United which had cancelled two flights of mine (thus far) offering only to reschedule without 'penalty' fee, with customer paying the fare differential (that is certainly to be higher). For roundtrips, though, the fares are so front-loaded on the departure leg, it's hardly worth opting for a refund for the return (at least with United) if you can reasonably reschedule.
For traveler information: the Embassies have been pretty good about posting updates.

Airfare on United are getting expensive as they block off seats for social distancing. Gate agent said they are resuming flights from Newark and Chicago sometime in June.
There were only international 2 flights out of GRU last night, United and Latam.

I thought I would share my smooth experience for those that read how difficult it was for other people that entered with BR documents.

I may be coming to SP.
Cartman says SP is better than RJ.
My situation is I can pretty much stay in Brazil and play the spread of shorting my property in the US and renting here in Brazil.
I believe it that the talent is better in SP, but I like the beach.
How hard and far is it to get to Santos?
Rovnak, it would be good to see you. Things seem to be opening up.
Oh, yeah, I want to make the best porn in the world.

The original location is closed and a apt complex to be built. New address pending.
Will be closed for about 2 months for a major expansion project.

Correct me if you think I'm wrong but I believe that Brazil will be the first country to have its sex industry up and running post covid; even before Thailand, Colombia or Mexico.Mexico is still open. The hard part is getting a hotel room, but you can cross into Mexico freely. I have done it twice in the last 3 weeks.

The original location is closed and a apt complex to be built. New address pending. That is disappointing news, as I was planning on visiting Bomboa during my next trip to Brazil. Bomboa was the first Boatel I have been to, and I was looking forward to a return visit in order to reminisce.
Will be closed for about 2 months for a major expansion project. That is a surprise to me, considering Scandallo is already pretty big and modern. I wonder what they are going to add to Scandallo, as they already have a restaurant, outdoors area, and onsite rooms. The only thing I could think of is an Airbnb-like rooms, where guests can rent them out for a few nights. That way, you are literally right next to the club and can easily bring a girl back if you click well.

They extended the quarantine for until May 31.
Mexico is still open. The hard part is getting a hotel room, but you can cross into Mexico freely. I have done it twice in the last 3 weeks. There is action in Brazil, Thailand and Colombia as well. What I was talking about is the sex industry being fully open, boates, clinicas, termas etc.
Will be closed for about 2 months for a major expansion project.Makes sense. Any club that wants to expand, now is the time.
They extended the quarantine for until May 31.Its until May 28 to be exact.
But the way things look, they probably will extend it again.

But the rooms they have now you can rent out for the whole night had you wanted to.
Makes sense. Any club that wants to expand, now is the time. They are expecting more girls with many places out of business to come work probably but clients will be not be so keen spending so expect lower pricing by girls. 300 R like back in old days with the exchange near 6.0 it is tempting but safety also on everyone's mind.
Basic supply and demand.

Do the current owners have an implicit understanding with city hall?
I seem to remember when they first tried to open up Scandallo (under a different name?) they ran into some issues for quite a long time. This project will seem to make Scandallo a bigger target for moral warriors. Just curious.
Total newb inquiry but what is the functional difference between a clinica and termas? I understand the clinicas to be the smaller harder to find of the two. Here is my knowledge tier.
Boates: high end nightclub where mostly 8+s compete and many of them escort as well.
Termas: bordello with bar and spa, chat area? Lineup? Somewhat similar to FKK setup dare I say?
Clinica: AMP style with most having around ten girls working, cheapest but also presumably lowest quality.
My most exp is with AMP setup after living in HI a couple years. I would be more inclined due to my personality to use escorts but I know they can't be reliable.

Termas exist in Rio not in SP. SP has only CLínicas and Boates. I do not know if Rio has CLínicas. And CLínicas are NOT hard to find in SP. There are at least ten mentioned in this thread like Tangará, Brooklyn, Abbobora, Miruna, and Enjoy just off the top of my head.
Choose your poison by time of day and dollar tolerance.
Day = Clincas. Night=Boates.
$300-400 - one amazing night of decadence at Scandallo. Or 5+ visits to the Clinica.
If you are used to paying US prices you have enough money to fuck till your dick falls off at the Clinica. I'the recommend Scandallo above all else if you have the coin.

Anyway, the hotel is a separate business name just like Bomboa and Cafe Foto, the hotel is a detached business.

$200 round trip.
Anybody grab that Copa deal yesterday?
$200 round trip. What a deal! But, it won't mean anything if you have to go through a 14-day quarantine and all the places you want to go to are closed. I don't know if it will come to that in Brazil like it's looking in desirable parts of Europe, but if it does, then you may as well stay home.

As Steve mentioned, termas exist primarily in Rio though. I have never been to a FKK, but they sound similar to a termas. Termas typically have a bar and light food. You can talk, drink with and hangout with the girls for awhile before you ask one (or two) to go upstairs to the cabines (small rooms). Termas girls are walking around scantily dressed. They are not nude. The girls might dance around on small stages to get the party going. The spa services are generally negligible and if they exist they can be lacking in quality.
As far as Brazilian escorts, if you put in the research you can find beautiful girls who will show you a great time. They are generally a bit cheaper than a Scandallo session. The accurate "candy store" analogies for Scandallo make it a great option in its own right. Even though Scandallo is a nightclub, your age doesn't matter as long as you have some nice clothes and money.
Some of us have written how-to posts for researching Brazilian escorts. Perhaps a member remembers the date(s) of which they were posted. Incidentally, Brazilian escorts usually can be incall, outcall or you can even meet at a Brazilian love hotel for a few hours. Some of the love hotels have some fun set-ups like jacuzzis, sex furniture, stripper poles, mirrors and so on. Some just have basic, clean rooms and are very inexpensive. Of course, you can try to arrange to take home a Scandallo girl or meet her the next day.
What dates? The deal is dead but for historical purposes here is what was offered:
Sample valid dates on COPA from from JFK to Sao Paulo with one stop in Panama for $200 round-trip:
June 14-21.
July 5-12.
August 16-23.
September 6-13.
October 18-25.
November 15-22.
December 6-13.
January 24-31.
February 1-8.

I have never been to a FKK, but they sound similar to a termas. As far as the basic features, FKKs and termas are similar. In both you pay an entry fee, and then there are women roaming around. You can take any of them to an onsite room for sex, with a generally set menu of prices.
The biggest difference is that most FKKs are set up with more spa services than you will find at even the nicest termas. There are definitely low-end FKKs that are similar to termas, but at the well-known ones you'll find indoor and outdoor pools, hot tubs, saunas, workout areas, dance clubs, and even movie theaters. Additional services such as masseuses, personal trainers, and haircuts / grooming are sometimes offered. Often drinks are free / included (at least basic drinks such as soft drinks, beer, and wine) and there are usually very nice buffets. Remember that FKKs started as nudist clubs and only transitioned to brothels later.
As I said, there are definitely lower-end FKKs with limited selection of features and crappy food / drinks. But take a look at what you get at Sharks (https://www.fkk-sharks.de/en/clubinfos/) for the base entry price. It's the kind of place you could spend all day, fucking model quality girls in between relaxing by the pool, or having a steam, or enjoying the lavish buffet.
The COPA flights has long lay overs and weird arrival times and I would need to pay for additional hotel nights so in the end the 200 is more like 4-500.$500 is still better than $1000.
Anyway. Its gone for now.

I'm planning on starting my trip in July assuming things continue to calm down, I have myself been tempted to bite on these airline deals but there is still too much uncertainty, I've already found a way around the airline cartels. I'm planning on flying into SP and then after a few days exploring do Sul. Certainly Curitiba and possibly Florionopolis. I have been doing much research / cross referencing on different sites: pohtoacompanhantes, skokka, gataurbana, priv55, garotaslindas and others. I will report on my finding on those provinces in those threads but I am aware of them being strictly clinicas and escorts. I also know that a week before I actually go I need to make a 'fresh' list as there is a high turnover, I found two unicorn-waifu short haired / pelo curto chics working in clinicas in Curitiba-Brasil of all places.
I think I'll probably be most comfortable in the larger clinicas only because I can't allow myself to drink and I will be under enormous pressure to drink in the club environment.

Everyone is going to get it in time, you die or you won't.
IMHO, finding the -fastest- way to herd immunity without flooding over the hospitals is the best course, but nobody will talk about it.
Odds are against a vaccine, we've had a century to figure out the Spanish Flu. We haven't. This is the nature of things.

This is the nature of things.People used to say the same thing about herd immunity in US and UK, and the situation is right in front of our eyes. And on top of that there is very little or no knowledge about how this virus behaves till now. It's not a typical virus which spreads like HIV or SARs. Herd immunity concept won't work as we have seen cases where even younger people are succumbing to this shit. And to be very frank, you can't have a case where you are going for herd immunity without flooding hospital, that's impossible.

Even if someone has antibodies, there's no guarantee the person is immune.Antibody development can't be seen as a perfect cure for this shit. Immunity depends on various other factors too.

Odds are against a vaccine, we've had a century to figure out the Spanish Flu. We haven't. This is the nature of things.Natural selection survival of the fittest you mean. Unfortunately, healthy young people get seriously sick also. Herd immunity depends on the composition of the population and controlling infection to only certain populations. In the end, no one wants to be infected intentionally.
The major problem with the covid vaccine is that there are no long term testing done, like 10 years worth so who knows how good / bad it is. Either way, I'll get it and see what happens.
Many people would probably agree with your statement. As far as I am concerned, "nobody" = Media.Blaming media for your fellow mans ignorance, is dangerous.
Media isn't the problem. Its the solution ignorant people want.

So. There is NO herd immunity in place to study on this to begin with, so therefore herd immunity doesn't work.
I get that right?

So, all of your arguments against her immunity are based on a situation with no substantial infection rate. So. There is NO herd immunity in place to study on this to begin with, so therefore herd immunity doesn't work.
I get that right?
"People used to say the same thing about herd immunity in US and UK".
We still do, where it's relevant. There is enough substantial infection rates in US and other top 7 infected counties, firstly. Please read news updates to get the numbers. Secondly the concept of herd immunity is futile without a proper vaccine or a drug to stop the spread. Third looking at the economic conditions of many countries and the extra burden on healthcare facilities, I hardly think people would be willing to sacrifice themselves and get infected willingly without having a guarantee to their lives. If this was not a human to human infectious disease which spreads much faster than any other which we have known in the last 100 years, I would have thought for a second about herd immunity, but not anymore.

...Secondly the concept of herd immunity is futile without a proper vaccine or a drug to stop the spread...You're mixing up two separate things.
Just a personal plea. The German FKK thread was absolutely ruined by becoming the Covid 19 bickering thread. Let's not ruin So Paulo too! How about we talk about girls and sex?Wanting to talk about girls and sex without wanting to talk about how this pandemic is impacting the "hobby" is not wanting to deal with reality. Especially with Brazil having moved into the number three position in the world with confirmed infections (heard it on the news this morning). Bolsonaro is an idiot! And the medical infrastructure in Sao Paulo is reported to be near collapse. Maybe time for a separate thread to discuss if that's what some people here want. Because it is absolutely relevant to what we all like to do. Travel internationally to fuck hot girls! Can we get there? Can we get in? If yes, then what will it look like, and what's going to happen? What will we have to do, and will it be safe? People want to talk about these topics, and quite legitimately so. We can't act like the mongering side of our lives isn't being greatly impacted by this virus and just ignore it, and expect people here not to talk about this extraordinary time in world history.
Blaming media for your fellow mans ignorance, is dangerous.
Media isn't the problem. Its the solution ignorant people want. Its both. Media and ignorance.

Wanting to talk about girls and sex without wanting to talk about how this pandemic is impacting the "hobby" is not wanting to deal with reality. Fair enough but perhaps the general covid discussion belongs in the General Info subforum, leaving this forum free for "Sao Paulo specific" discussion, covid and non.
Hi Guys,
I have to move in September permanent to Latin America and I have to choose between Buenos Aires and Sao Paulo. Money is not an issue. If you were me where would you move for the rest of your lives?

Following the porn industry's future protocol is for the rapid test before sex act. It is what I do with my girl each time we meet up, we go to a lab and get it done.
The caveat is that rapid test is not yet approved for current infection though it does test for recent infection because there is a delayed antibody response.

If you were me where would you move for the rest of your lives?Buenos Aires. Since money is not an issue, you will live a fabulous life in any city and deal more with climate, culture and your own character. As always you can travel between the two. Tango is a dance of life and death, so choose the port for the rest of your life.

Let me congratulate you. I'm envious. I've spent a little time in both cities.
Is Porto or Castellano your best language? I'the go there. Sampa has a sexual culture unlike anywhere I've been. But it's a reasonable flight from BsAs. As in both cities, which neighborhood, barrio is as important as which city.

Hb.None. I am going to learn one of them when I get there. In Sao Paulo I want to build a house in Muribo and in BsAs I want to build a house in San Isidro. In the beginning I will go with pros but in the long-term I would prefer to have a girlfriend for a long-term relationship without marriage and kids. Unfortunately I think that there are not so many pros in BsAs only some escorts from websites. The are two things that I don't like on each place. In Sao Paulo they don't speak Spanish so I am going to have to learn Portuguese and Spanish as well if I want to travel to other countries as well. In BsAs there aren't any termos or clubs like Scandalo, the economy sucks and I am going to have to figure out a way to always have cash in Euro or Dollars while in Sao Paulo I think it is more easy.
Hi Guys,
I have to move in September permanent to Latin America and I have to choose between Buenos Aires and Sao Paulo. Money is not an issue. If you were me where would you move for the rest of your lives?I will presume you are moving for work / commerce. Otherwise, Rio or another Brazilian beach city would be far more enjoyable places to live than SP or BA.
SP vs. BA for living is an interesting question. If mongering is high on your list, SP would be the winner by far. BA people can be a bit cold. Brazilian women are also more approachable. Obviously, if you have looks and game anything is possible anywhere at anytime.
If you toss aside mongering, BA is a much more beautiful city. While BA is worn around the edges, it has an air of turn of the 20th century Europe. I think BA is also relatively safer. I would give SP the edge in food, but BA's food scene has become very good. It's not just steak and Italian anymore.
While I will confess I have never lived in either city, I prefer BA's neighborhoods and vibe. I could see myself being happy in a trendy BA barrio like Palermo a short walk from some beautiful parks.

If you were me where would you move for the rest of your lives?Spot on agree with Wyatt. For girls particularly paid girls SP hands down. For quality of life in a nice city I'd pick BA. Hey you don't always want to do paid girls at home so maybe live in BA and hit Scandallo in SP on a regular basis. I'd be down with that.
Hi Guys,

If you were me where would you move for the rest of your lives?I would go with Sao Paulo just because I like Brazilian people and culture better. Throw in the fact that I'm a monger and, well that seals it for me since Brazil is the better mongering destination by far per my tastes.
Gents -posting in SP forum hoping for a response as Guaruja is closer to SP and some you esp the locals may have information. Is there a list of recommended clinicas in Guaruja area?
Thanks,

I would go with Sao Paulo just because I like Brazilian people and culture better. Throw in the fact that I'm a monger and, well that seals it for me since Brazil is the better mongering destination by far per my tastes.Buenos Aires used to be the better mongering destination for me prior to 2011 when there was a clampdown, it was once my favorite destination. Now Sao Paulo is the better mongering place. However, Buenos Aires is a much better city for beauty and ambiance.
However, Buenos Aires is a much better city for beauty and ambiance.I agree with this much. But for me, at the end of the day, it's the people who make a place what it is, and I prefer hanging around Brazilians versus their neighbors to the south. Sao Paulo isn't the prettiest city, but it has its "pockets" LOL! And I have always liked mongering in Brazil better than Argentina, so Sao Paulo would be the easy pick for me between the two choices. Given other options, I would look at Curitiba and Florianopolis. BTW I love it when the Brazilian and Argentinian national soccer teams play each other! Talk about a war! Whew wouldn't miss it for nothing!

Brazilians are also definitely more friendly with gringos than people in AR IMO.

Brasil 🇧🇷 in general I'd choose easily over Argentina.
Like you say, mostly for the people, however, I truly enjoy my time in both SP and Rio!
................ BTW I love it when the Brazilian and Argentinian national soccer teams play each other! Talk about a war! Whew wouldn't miss it for nothing!I have been to countries in Europe and South America during football matches and nothing can compare to Buenos Aires, Argentina. I had left my hotel for a walk one Sunday just before a football match between Boca Juniors and Riverplate and the scene was incredible; there were buses moving through the city with as many guys hanging on on the outside as inside, the din was unbelievable, there were tanks and other military vehicles on the streets, I was the only pedestrian and beat a hasty retreat back to my hotel. I have been to football clashes in Rio and SP and it was nothing like that.
Sure, do yourself a favour and buy a Boca Juniors cap with bright BJ letters on the side. Anyway, raise a glass to today's default as Argentina skipped a payment on her bond obligations. In the past the question on Baires or Sampa was asked when fleeing the Reich, and later when banished by 'business associates' from sunny Mediterranean. Baires has got different genetic pool, many girls have French or Italian heritage. Any aspiring alcoholic should also choose Baires. The ways you can fuck up your mind there is incredible.

I've been to BA before though.
Not sure what you mean by Muribo though. You mean Morumbi? If I were to live anywhere it would probably be Moema near Parque Ibirapuera. But you'd probably have to live in an apartment.

Is a beautiful city, the city has great architecture and excellent food, steaks and Italian cuisine, probably the best outside Italy. It is equally dangerous to one's personal safety, I have lived and worked on 4 continents and BS. As was the only place I had the privilege of being mugged in broad daylight in Recoleta, so safety wise it is no better than Sampa. Finally, women, nothing to beat Brasileras specially in Sampa.
Good luck on your move.

Have you considered Rio? I think many SP lovers would still prefer actually living in Rio near the beach and visiting SP on occasion.
Maybe I'm oversimplifying it, but why is it difficult to have Euros and Dollars? I'm not sure what you are trying to do. You can't really walk around and use US Dollars in most of your day to day transactions. Like many middle and upper class people in South America, you hold money in an account abroad and access the money via an ATM or use a credit card linked to the account.
I'm curious. Have you considered Rio? I think many SP lovers would still prefer actually living in Rio near the beach and visiting SP on occasion. It's interesting you say this because the last time I was in Rio, I remember thinking to myself as the taxi took me from the airport to my hotel, "Man! I can't believe I actually thought about retiring in this dump"! For whatever reason, at that very moment in time, Rio as a place to live for me lost its appeal. Maybe it was just my mood at the time, which wasn't being helped by the persistent, rainy, overcast weather. Or the dirty, chipped, and cracked sidewalks all over Copa. The smell of the sewer everywhere I went. Buildings looking kind of shabby and run down, and my room at the hotel not being up to par in terms of what I expected (based on what I read here about the place). And the action and energy in the termas nothing like when I first visited them. I don't know. Rio will always, always, always be a special place to me. But, at this point in my life, I would not choose to live there long term. If I were going to live long term in Brazil, I would pick some other city in the south, and go to Rio for vacations. Would I pick Rio over BA? Yes, because I would be choosing Brazil over Argentina, which is what I prefer.

Keep in mind that it has Scandalo. There is a ridiculous limit when you withdraw money in BsAs from an ATM. If anyone lives in BsAs let us know the daily limit for withdrawals and you never know what will happen in BsAs the next morning due to financial reasons.

Hey Guys, I suppose you can file this post under stupid questions, but here goes anyway: It has been 20 years since I last visited Brazil. I used to travel to SA (Colombia, Brazil) all the time in the '90's. With the Corona BS going on it looks like I might not be allowed to go on my mid summer 2.53 month Thai / Indonesia trip and if I can't go to Asia from mid August to the end of October I won't be able to go there at all in 2020. I know Brazil is on currently on hold too, but should the country reopen by the Fall I would be very interested in flying down for a quicky 2 to 3 week Sao Paulo fix - I mean holiday visit. LOL.
I know where to find the girls. That's not a problem. And I think it will be fun rediscovering the town. My dumb ass question concerns what SP Hotels are Guest Friendly? I have searched the internet and strangely can't find the answer. Is it all, some, or a few? I prefer 4* & 5* hotels relatively close to the action with sunny outdoor swimming pools.
Thanks in Advance.

NB.Hey Natty. Recognize you from the Thai forums. Welcome. Yes nice hotels are girl friendly no problem. They do have to register at the front desk just like Thailand. But it's all cool. That said you really should enjoy the clubs like Scandallo and BomBoa. They have short time hotel attached right on the premises. It's nice. It's not an ST hotel like Thailand — it's a nice upscale room.

I have stayed at the Grand Mercure Harmoni in Jakarta, so I am familiar with the brand. Good choice. The Grand Mercure Harmoni Jakarta has it's own in-house bordello (massage parlor). It was always very convenient to bring girls up to my room for little afternoon entertainment.

Like everyone else I am just waiting around, watching the new virus case numbers, and wondering which countries are going to open up first. Brazil seems to be having a bad stretch at the moment. I hope they get a handle on things soon. It would be great to visit Sao Paulo again in November. I am looking forward to meeting a lot of pretty girls there. I know Scandallo is one of your favorite places. It is on the top of my list of places to go.
Take care,

NB.Of all the forums Medellin remains most active and it sounds like the situation will ameliorate before Brazil. Remember Lew Ashby? He was killing it in Medellin and the girls are amazing and like $20-50. It's unreal. I've not been but want to go.

I have taken close to 20+ trips to Medellin over the years and I don't recall seeing or meeting amazing girls for that price. I presume your buddy, Lew Ashby, must be either very lucky or very handsome. You did mention that you have not been there yet. I would be curious to read your reports after you get a chance to visit Medellin.
Hi Dear, I used Mercure Jardins hotel near paulista Avenue (it is at the corner from of Rua De Agusta). It is girl friendly and I stayed twice without any issues.I stayed in that hotel and I thought it was fairly noisy. They have a domestic airport not too far from the hotel, and the noise from the airplanes landing and taking off was a bit much. Luckily, the noise seemed to stop around midnight but it restarted fairly early.

Paulista is no where near both airports and I've stayed at that Mercure near Paulista which is nice and girl friendly. Actually all hotels are girl friendly.

That's about right. Flights stop at 11 or so but start up at 6 or 7 AM. True for Itami Bibi as well but I learned to live with it. If you are very noise sensitive you might consider elsewhere.

That area of Jardins is not under the path of the approaching or departing airplanes from the Congonhas airport. Could be more problem in Itaim Bibi and of course in Moema, which is closer to the airport. I haven't stayed in Mercure Jardins hotel, but it is close to the Mercure Alamedas hotel, where helicopters woke me up quite often in the morning.

Beautiful girls can easily be had for that price range.
$50 dollars is about 185 mil pesos in Colombia now.
Plenty enough.
The same though is true in Brasil.
Both places have high end, low end, and in the middle.
It has been said many times, and it's true; what you pay doesn't really correlate to either quality or performance.

Read through the past 100 pages and want to say thanks to everyone who posted, shame what happened to ABG, he seemed like a great guy.
My next trip is going to be either to Ghana or Brazil, whichever opens up first, I'm hoping Brazil but unfortunately things aren't looking good at the minute.
Sao Paulo looks much better to me mongering wise, which is the main objective of my trip and decent food and Rio doesn't appeal to me that much as I'm not into beaches.
How many nights would you lot spend in Rio to see the tourist stuff before going to Sao Paulo for the rest of the trip?
Also does anyone else offer a similar service to ABG?
Thanks in advance.

How many nights would you lot spend in Rio to see the tourist stuff before going to Sao Paulo for the rest of the trip?It always depends what you like to do. The recommendations below come with the caveat that you can easily find women in Rio. It is certainly not a pussy desert.
If your goal is to race in / race out, you could hit the two major sites Christ the Redeemer statue on Corcovado mountain and Sugarloaf mountain in two days / one night.
If you tack on more time, you can consider other options. You have to remember beach or no beach, Rio is a green city. It is cut into a mountainous rainforest. Sao Paulo is an urban jungle. I like to take the historic tram up into the hills of Santa Teresa and have lunch (or a before sunset dinner) with a view. It is a historic neighborhood with nice, older homes. You can checkout the nearby Selaron Steps that you see in the Snoop Dogg / Pharrell "Beautiful" video.
I also like to have breakfast / lunch at the Cafe Lage in the mansion courtyard of Parque Lage. It's also featured in the video. In fact, the video is a good warm-up for a Rio visit. There are many hot Cariocas in it. The video might also change your mind about the beach.
The city center does not have a lot of history left. There are some old churches. Many people go to the modern Rio Cathedral which is interesting. The Sambadrome attracts visitors even though there is not much to see without a parade.
Last but not least, on certain nights the Samba schools host parties. There's usually music, cheap drinks and dancing. You can flirt here with some Brazilian women. Unless you are under 45, I wouldn't flirt with the really young girls. You'll likely get more response from the more mature women. Rio women are jaded from tourists thinking they all want to jump in bed with the first foreigner they meet.
Lapa has a famous large street party on Friday nights that spills into the side streets and bars in the area. The center of the action starts at Arcos the Lapa. In fact depending on the season, the Rio street parties can be found around the city.

Might just book a flight into Rio and out of Sao Paulo and play it by ear. Hopefully tourists will be able to go sometime this year.
There are many Mercure hotels, you probably got it confused with the one near Moema which is near the national airport CGH. Paulista is no where near both airports and I've stayed at that Mercure near Paulista which is nice and girl friendly. Actually all hotels are girl friendly.I've stayed at the Mercure Sao Paulo Moema hotel many times and the noise is not that big a deal and I am a somewhat light sleeper. My favored hotel in SP is the Bourbon Convention Ibirapuera which is a short walking distance from my favorite Moema clinicas. It has a decent gym and indoor pool. It is even closer to the airport but fortunately the windows in the rooms are sound proofed.

I think someone mentioned a building (s) that was the bargain basement mongering scene. If I remember, the member thought it was too skanky and so dearth of talent it wasn't worth the effort.
It sounded like a similar scene in Belo Horizonte. Some old buildings with a woman in each room banging out quickies. I hope I'm not mixing up SP with BH.

Also does anyone else offer a similar service to ABG?
Thanks in advance.Doesn't seem like anyone else does a similar tour service to what ABG did on here, which is a shame.
I wish I wasn't so bad at learning languages.
I plan on staying in Moema and visiting the clinicas and Casarao and similar priced Boates but Scandallo etc would be out of my budget.
Would you lot still go if you only learned the key Portuguese phrases?
Thanks.

IMHO, Brazil has the greatest sexual culture in the world so for that reason alone is worth a visit. It's always worth it to learn a couple dozen words / phrases just to be polite. I found that I got along just fine using Google translate for everything else. But I also spent more time in the high end boates where it is quieter & calmer than Casarao.
I miss ABG too. The clinicas he took me to, I was treated like a local, maybe even a VIP and given the same treatment when I went back without him. It was like getting his seal of approval ensured good service. My experience of going to clinicas alone was mixed. I had a particularly bad encounter at Brooklin for example but did OK elsewhere.
Some of my fondest memories with ABG was just sitting around drinking beer and shooting the shit. Sometimes those memories are as important as the pussy.

Can someone help me with how many days to spend in Sao paulo? I'm going to be in Brazil for 9 days in December and I plan on breaking it up between Sao Paulo and Rio. How do you think I should break up the travel?
I was in SP last year and ABG took me around to Tangare and a couple others and WOW I was treated like a KING! It's pretty well accepted that SP is the better monger destination. Rio is the better destination for relaxation or tourism. Rio is not void of mongering by any means. And you can wine and dine in SP. You should tell the board what is important to you. 3 or 4 days minimum in Rio. If you love the beach maybe more.

I lived in South Florida for many years so know all about Brazilian women and there amazing bundas, and what they can do with them so can't wait to visit.

How do you think I should break up the travel? As important as deciding how many days to spend in each city, is to decide which days of the week you stay in one or the other. All depends on your preferences. I'm not very interested in mongering in Rio and therefore I would stay stay Friday-Tuesday in Rio de Janeiro and the rest of the trip in Sao Paulo. Last year I only spend two whole days in Rio and I think I should have stayed longer, maybe 4 or 5 days.

If you knew ABG, you would say instead that you hope there is a Tangara or Vannis way in Heaven for him LOL. Like many Paulistas, he viewed Scandallo and it's ilk as only for snobs and tourists, ridiculously overpriced. But he was tolerant of our foibles. It was part of his charm. I have 2 vivid memories. At Tangara there is a stair leading down to the area where the girls have their lockers, leading to a big party area. We sat down there and drank beer with some high ups (Doctors, lawyer). Good and funny conversation. And secondly, at Scandallo when we both realized that the main difference in price wasn't because the girls were fitter or prettier but that they paid more for makeup, dresses, hair and shoes and therefore it was only fair that we pay more for the packaging. CIM an angel for me Joao.
Hb.
Hopefully there is a Scandallo up there for him now.

At Scandallo when we both realized that the main difference in price wasn't because the girls were fitter or prettier but that they paid more for makeup, dresses, hair and shoes and therefore it was only fair that we pay more for the packaging.I remember my first trip to Sao Paulo. I went to many clinicas, and was mostly disappointed in the quality of the talent I found at them. Went to Vanni's Way and didn't see one hot girl. Not a single one. I believe it may have been at Tangara that I saw a woman so fat that it looked like she would have to turn sideways to get through doorways. I wrote up detailed field reports of my findings.
ABG always struck me as the kind of guy who didn't want to accept the reality of life that different pussy carries different value. Pussy shouldn't cost but so much, and that's it! Whereas for a guy like me, buying some cootchie is like buying a car. If it's a Buick it's going to cost this much. And if it's a BMW, then it's going to cost me this much (more), and that's that. Now, when it comes to women, the key is to be able to realize that you're looking at a BMW versus a Buick (you have taste), accepting that in the real world the former costs more than the latter (you understand value), and being willing to pay for the BMW if that's what you want (you have the money).
Places like Scandallo, Cafe Photo, and Bomboa aren't patronized only by snobs or tourists (the truth is that virtually everybody there is Brazilian). To suggest differently points to a kind of snobbery on the other side of this debate (clinicas versus nightclubs). No, the nightclubs are for people who have decided they want to "drive a BMW" for the evening. They know who the hottest girls are when they see them, they understand that the way life works is that the prettiest girls cost a man the most out of his pockets (among other things), and they have the money to pay to be with those girls. The overhead costs alone at a high-end place like a Scandallo are going to drive the price higher, let alone what the talent looks like.
Every man, based on his personal circumstances and desires, has his own limits and that's fine. You don't call a man a cheapskate just because he goes for the Buick every single time. But you don't call him a snob either just because he prefers a BMW, and can tell the difference between the two. I personally won't be going for any Bentley's! I could, but for me that's too much to be paying for "a car" (a piece of ass). But I do accept that there is a difference in value between a Buick and a BMW and a Bentley, and I know how to recognize each one when I see it. What price I want to pay, that's up to me, without passing negative judgments upon others and what they are willing to pay for.
I hope ABG is in clinica heaven.

On the pictures I've attached, I only find one of the girls attractive (the one on the right of the three girls) and would hesitate in f*cking the other girls for free.
So I want to know if I'll find the average clinica girl attractive or should I budget for the likes of Casarao if the girls there look better than the one I find attractive?

Trying to work out how much mongering money I'll need, thanks.Yes I think that's Tangar but painted in a very favorable light. Tangara might have nice girls (the one I had was pretty hot) but the rooms are pretty run down. To their credit they seem clean. But really it's like Motel 6 level bathroom a least the room I had. So if facilities don't matter it's a good place for a VERY cheap experience.
Much nicer Clinica facilities can be found at Enjoy. It's really a nice high end fit and finish. I understand Moema Prime and some others may be this way also but I have not been.
Remember tho that CLnicas are a DAY activity. And Boates are a night activity so comparing the two may not be that useful depending on what Time you like to have your fun.
Going to Boates there is a vast difference in facilities also. Scandallo of course is super high end fit and finish and 150 girls without a dog in sight. You get what you pay for as The Cane points out so eloquently.
At Casarao you can surely find a hottie at a fraction of the overall Scandallo cost. The girl may be 1/2 as much but the primary savings but because the venue and drinks are downscale you will save a bunch there. It's like your basic pickup bar.

I say the girls pictured are average to below average for Tangara. The general consensus used to be that it was the best for looks / service for value. I wouldn't be all that interested in the garotas pictured either but always found someone at Tangara who more than fit the bill. But there's a reason why girls charge more in the boates too. YOLO and Sampa boates are something else. Don't sleep on the chance.

What is YOLO?It's the acronym coined by the millenials. You Only Live Once. Kinda like what the heck, just go for it.
Anyone know of some Airbnbs that are guest friendly? Every Airbnb I see says they require name / ID of the person you plan on bringing over.
Only been once but will be back. Took ABG up on his guide services and wow I really liked Tangara, it was a great value. I had a girl named Marie and she would be $1000 HR call girl here in the US, one of the hottest chics I have ever been with. Also on called JuJu very hot and paid like $30 for half an hour it was amazing. ABG had a friend named Gabby and she was a great blonde but her husband found out what she was doing away from home all week and he sent me a message saying she was out of the business. He never took me to a boate so can speak to that. Really wish ABG was still around.

O.Yes, ABG, he lived it up!
Met him years ago at the old Vani's.
We used to have feijoada once a month!
Gone but never forgotten.

I have it on good authority that ABG passed away in February. He will be missed.I met him, as did so many. I thought he would be dodgy, but he ended being a very solid character. Fun guy. Brought the party. Wonder what happened? Just bad health? COVID? Ugh. Very sorry to hear about the loss.
Ah, what memories you reminded me of! Loved Grand Mercury Harmoni in Jakarta. Got the girl from free foot massage they offer up to my room. She wasn't a lot into fun but I made it work. Nothing beats a perfect massage and fun in your bed. Did you get really lucky with the therapists? Any details? I'd love to find another reason to go back.
Thanks, Melman.
I suppose I think too simply which is why I would not thrive in politics. Trump and Bolsonaro are friends, the US and Brazil have similar rates of covid-19 infections. Why not just open up the borders between each country and allow people to travel freely between the US and Brazil without any restrictions? A bloke travelling from New York to Texas would not be any different from the same guy travelling from New York to Sao Paulo.
I suppose I think too simply which is why I would not thrive in politics. Trump and Bolsonaro are friends........Yeah, they hang out at Mar-a-Lago and order in hookers.
Anybody heard anything concerning to opening of Casarao or Bomboa? Attached are a few fotos of my neighbours.

I've spoken to a few girls and they do not dare to go back even if it is open without a vaccine.
I've spoken to a few girls and they do not dare to go back even if it is open without a vaccine.Ditto, IMHO the Brazilian re-openings are premature. Prepare to be reading about the mutated c-19 slicing thru Brasil like a hot knife thru butter!

I would love to visit the new Scandallo. First establishment on my return to Brazil.TBA August though still no vaccine by then.
I say test with the fast PCR for everyone that goes in at a cost of 300 R as the door fee. Only the high end clubs can ask this much as a door fee but at least you know you are safe.
Labs in Brazil are charging 400 R for the PCR to show active infection.
During F1 week there are up to 700 girls. Post pandemic with so many girls without jobs, I can see there being just as much everyday!
Does anyone know if Casarao is open?

I have spent several months in many parts of BR (Rio, BH, Brasilia, etc). Yet, I haven't been to SP yet, and plan to go.
My question for you all is what makes São Paulo better than Rio for mongering?
Would you say that SP has more or less clinicas than Rio? And are there better options for mongering in SP or Rio, in your opinion?
I ask this because I notice that the Rio forum here has a much larger thread count and reports.
When I was in Belo Horizonte, I met working girls that left São Paulo because they said there was too much competition for them.
I have only been to SP and no other place in BZ. I was told by many people the Rio is much more dangerous than SP. SP has a great metro system that is cheap and easy to use. I only went to a few clinicas (with ABG) so I thought the women (especially Tangara) were very hot and inexpensive. The rooms were not top notch but had a shower and clean sheets / bed. I was happy.
I want to return to SP, but stuck in pussy hell (USA).

If U want to have the BEST time U need some $$. Not a lot by US standards $300-500/ night and you will have the time of your life. Nowhere on earth can compare to Scandallo Boate for 150 7+ girls all ready to rock and roll. Glitz glam girls dancing sex. It doesn't get any better. Bomboa is worth a visit also. Classy. Point is it is the Boates that make SP SP.

Picking up in boates (clubs) is my favorite way to roll.
I was never much of a fan of the CLínicas in Rio, nor did I enjoy having to walk around in those spas (I. E. Termas) in a bathrobe.
I'll have to do more research into pricing. $500 sounds a bit steep, because that's about the price here in my part of the USA.
However, $300 bucks a pop for high quality talent (if my assumptions are correct) sounds like São Paulo would be an excellent trip.
Looking forward to making the trip, once the world gets back to normal, one of these days.
I heard from someone that Bomboa is closed permanently. Sad news, but I always went to Scandallo instead. Also, heard that since the clubs are closed, the girls go to Connection Club, which is open.
The news is Brazil is open for air travel. As long as you arrive by air you can go as long as you can prove you have valid travel health insurance for your stay. Now I am planning on coming to SP from the states. Arriving mid September. Any one knows what's open. Clubs? CLínicas? Casaro tangara etc. Thanks.
Heard from someone that Bomboa is closed indefinitely, sad news, and since clubs are still closed, girls go to connection club which is open currently.

Should be even less now with the Real where it is. One week to live? I am on a plane to Scandallo tonight.

So now it's 240 and 400 rather than 300 and 500! And remember this includes cover and some drinks over the time you are there hotel and girl. I mean it's considered expensive in Brazil but if you are coming from USA still an amazing bargain and Brasileiras are the best girls in the world IMO.

I can't argue with that. Brazilian girls are stunning and incredible. .
The pricing makes sense, with cover, drinks, etc. I went back and read about 50 pages deep in the SP reports and gathered that those numbers were the sum total, just as you explained.

The Rio forum goes back to 2008. As many long-time members know, a lot has changed in Rio in those twelve years. Rio is also still a premier tourist destination. Men are likely to venture there for a beach vacation and Rio's past reputation for mongering.
As several have mentioned, the reason SP is better for mongering than Rio is the boates.......the boates (nightclubs).
Interesting comment about Belo Horizonte. Fitfteen, twenty years ago the most beautiful working girls from BH (Mineiros) came down to Rio to make some money. Now the top working girls make their make their way to SP.

Now the top working girls make their make their way to SP.Rio holds great sentimental value for me. An earlier episode of my life saw some great times there. I only started going to SP around four years ago. I still love Rio and would always advise newbies to visit that city first. It is a better all round city. However, I will also advise a visit to SP as well, the mongering is great, however, so is the mongering in Rio.

Unless business takes you to SP, newbies should visit Rio first. Rio is a beautiful city (with its warts like any city) and there is a solid mongering scene. I am a beach person. I also love the cafes along Copacabana Beach for a meal or drinks. There are also some nice places in the Ipanema neighborhood just a short walk from the beach. Seeing scantily clad Brasileiras on the beach get my sexual juices flowing.
The Sao Paulo regulars might take offense, but Sao Paulo is good for doing business in Brazil and mongering. The city doesn't offer a lot to a tourist.

But man has a lot changed since I started going (for the worst). Quatro por Quatro is gone. L'uomo is gone. Aereoporto is gone. Rio Antigo is gone. Help is gone. What was the name of the place up the road from Mab's that used to be the place to be before it moved to Mab's? That's gone too! It was shuttered before the Olympics. All of these closures have caused a major hit to the Rio scene. And now I hear that Bomboa in Sao Paulo may be gone for good too? This is sad my fellow mongers. So, so sad! I hope things are looking better in 2021, and that maybe some termas and clubs will re-open, or maybe some new ones will pop up somewhere.
The Rio forum has more threads because it's much more of a "vacation city" - ie it has great beaches, spectacular views, and a more relaxed vibe. And the mongering is still pretty damn good, even though not what it was 15-20 years ago. But, if you're a fan of large cities, you might actually love SP. It has a feel very much like New York City. IMO it has a lot more going for it than many posters here let on, with excellent restaurants, parks, museums, etc. And of course the hottest women in the world. But it can also be a pain in the ass with things quite spread out and terrible traffic (though the Metro is great).
Regardless, if you'll be in Brasil at least a week (and I can't imagine flying that far for a shorter trip), I would strongly advise to visit both cities. Very easy to buy an open jaw ticket flying into SP and leaving from Rio. The flight between the two cities is like 40 minutes and will cost under $50.
On the website it says new address shortly. A couple girls that work in SP told me Scandallo was undergoing remodeling and Bomboa would have a new location after lock down.

It appears that Rio might be the safer choice from what I've been reading. If I may be so bold to ask the question to the experienced SP members, what do you guys do for fun right now at night? From what I've been reading the bar / clubs are closed and restaurants must close by 5. I did get a few ideas of some Boates from another members post. Casarao is an example. Can anyone with boots on the ground suggest any more that's open during this crazy COVID time? Once I have a few ill venture out and find others, but having a few would be a helpful starting point.
Thanks again for any members nice enough to answer. Normally I would just go and explore / find out for myself, but with some many places closing down and all this craziness I thought it would be worth a shot to ask LOL.

Been there 3-4 x since the beginning of June. On average there were about 20-25 girls and maybe 10-15 guys there on those nights. When you pull up it looks like the place is closed, but it's not. You need to wait for the security guy to give you your commanda, then they let you in. Either drive or walk up the driveway to the bar. From where I am in Pinheiros it's about a 25 minute Uber ride, costing about real $50/ real $100 by taxi. Downside, the standard facilities are not that great. Unless you pay for the luxury rooms (which are right off the bar & extremely noisy, IMHO).
I took this one back to my place. She likes Red Bull & Jack Daniels, and a fist in her buceta! Inbox me, I'll give you the manager's WhatsApp and he'll put you on the notifications list.
Cheers!
Is it open?30 seconds of Googling and you'll knows it's temporary closed.

Where did you meet that beauty?Cafe Photo. Brazilian, blonde hair, pretty face (as you can see). Good attitude, nice big titties. Butt fuck. Everything. And to Turgid yes. It's the foreigners dealing with the girls who come into contact with us the most who are typically faced with "adjustments" due to exchange rates. We just need to bargain (as usual) to get an acceptable price. When I was in Rio last, Elisa Sanches charged me dirt cheap local rates to have anal sex with her, a top-rated Brazilian porn star.

I have been in many situations in various countries where I decided to pay more. It may have been because of service, attitude or because I knew it meant a lot to the recipient.
However, I will walk away, and suggest everyone else does also when you are told you need to pay more because you are a rich gringo. I don't negotiate. I just walk away. If everyone walked away it would stop.
There have been many girls in Brazil who have spent the night (s) with me and never asked for anything. Others, some minimal amount. Being caring, compassionate and generous is not the same as being gullible or stupid. Some people tend to confuse one with the other.

I being sending money to a girls as a prepayment which they appreciate and will show it when I meet up with them next month.
Some people tend to confuse one with the other.I always ensure that I am aware of the going or market rate in any country I visit. To pay above that no matter how small in comparison to the rate in the US would make me feel like a chump, which is not a nice feeling. I will tip if the girl has given me exceptional service. Tipping is different and I don't feel like a chump at all. The only monger destination in which I have gotten sex for free is Thailand. I tip my hat to guys who spend the night with Latin American women and not get asked for anything. If that happens to me and the girl is poor she will ultimately get something from me.
Years ago I saw Pamela Butt, 500 R and allowed filming.I wasn't familiar with Pamela Butt, so I looked her up. Definitely my type, especially if she's doing anal sex. She most definitely gets paid!

I will always remember that she asked me to turn off the camera when it came time for the money shot because she only allows that in pornos LOL.

LOL more like a bucket of silicone inside both her tits and her butt!Serious? I came across too much of that in Colombia, not so much in Brazil. I thought Brazilian women didn't need it.

Here are a couple of more natural Brasileiras who knocked around Rio in the 2000's. Kelly and Babalu did some nice porn work as well.
https://www.empflix.com/latina-porn/babalu-and-kelly/video964291]
I can personally attest that Kelly's body was sublime. Kelly just always seemed to be having a good time hanging out with gringos at the beachside venues in Copa.
Serious? I came across too much of that in Colombia, not so much in Brazil. I thought Brazilian women didn't need it.Most don't, but Brazilians love plastic surgery. It's relatively affordable now and Brazilian plastic surgeons are quite competent. I don't need DD breasts and a monster ass, but try telling that to a Brazilian hooker.

I can surely attest that the Brasileira butt is a real thing. I tend towards Morenas so I don't know if that tips the scale some but the Brasileira bunda is unique worldwide in my opinion. Larger than you might expect for a tiny waist but not fat. Not jiggly. Nice round shape, nice and firm without being gym-rat hard.
It is unique. I've seen a TON of girls worldwide and maybe 20-30 in Brasil. Of those in Brasil I'the say half or more had that unique Brasileira bunda you don't find elsewhere. It's a magical creation and a natural gift that can't be replicated. OMG I miss my Brasileiras.
I'm guessing silicone is not allowed in the Miss Bum Bum competition. So many natural big bums, only in Brazil.
There seems to be a correlation with their butt obsession and being open to anal. No where else in the world are the girls so open to doing anal.

It is a real thing. Men from other Latin American countries and African-American men (who are known to appreciate a nice ass) will tell you Brazil is the bomb.
I always say that 95% of the time when a Brazilian girl takes off her tight pants her junk stays in place exactly where it was with the pants. Most American girls sadly need tight pants to hold everything in place.

I always say that 95% of the time when a Brazilian girl takes off her tight pants her junk stays in place exactly where it was with the pants. Most American girls sadly need tight pants to hold everything in place. And sometimes when a Brasiliera takes her jeans off you get surprised. Like damn girl you were hiding all of that junk in the trunk? One thing I love about Brazil is that you can find even plenty of white girls with plump, round booty. And they know how to use them too. Lord have mercy! First time I went to Brazil I just about lost my mind! Brazil immediately shot to number 1 among permanent monger member nations, and has not relinquished that position for even a single day. A permanent security council member! Some guys here go for the negras. Some for the morenas. My "krypronite" is big booty Brazilian blondes, like in the attached. Although, I go for the big bunda morenas too (example also attached).
There seems to be a correlation with their butt obsession and being open to anal. No where else in the world are the girls so open to doing anal.I am interested in anal only with girls with very huge butts. If a babe has a normal sized butt I have absolutely no interest in doing anal.

No where else in the world are the girls so open to doing anal.Although I have had tremendous success obtaining anal sex with attractive girls working at the FKKs in Germany (normally between 50% up to high 60's). This makes Germany my second favorite destination. Also a lot of success in Spain too though. But no place can top Brazil where I am easily always at 70% butt fucked. And as I have said before, I am 100% confident that if I lowered my standards some, then 100% of my sessions in Brazil could include anal. But hey, even an anal connoisseur needs a break from the butt holes every now and then. And remember. No matter where I'm at, I'm getting that pussy 100% of the time! OK? LOL!

I think we possibly have a similar attitude. Compared to the cost of living, girls offering p4 p are well paid. One should, in my opinion, always be aware of the actual local rate when buying or paying for anything, especially when there is no shortage, and there is no shortage of p4 p in Brasil so even with their crazy logic it's still a buyers' market.
Prices in Brasil, as in other countries, often go up when sufficient numbers of foreigners, usually Americans, pay over the going rate and then export that other American custom of tipping for everything. It's understandable given the price of p4 p if you can get it in the USA without going to the hood, but totally unnecessary when traveling abroad. A bit like wearing a Texas hat and talking in a loud voice.
If a girl is good, I am helping her by giving her repeat business, not by overpaying, egregiously tipping, and stimulating her greed. Tipping is something I have only done very exceptionally. She's paid a fair rate for a good service. Attempts at skimming by asking for a tip should be laughed off. If she's insistent, that lowers the value of the service she's given in my opinion and reduced the chance of repeat business.
In a situation where there are a limited number of top girls available, it is not uncommon for an American chump (caixa automtica) to be given special attention. It's almost like frisking. I often spent the whole night at VM (in the days when it was better value) seeing several girls. One evening a regular asked me to come back a little later. I asked her why as I knew she always gave me first option. "An American" she answered, rolling her eyes in a certain direction (I think the chump had actually driven to VM). No-one passes up on a free cash dispenser.
I'll buy a girl a drink occasionally if they're normal prices. One overnighter asked me for an expensive taxi fare home. That hadn't been part of the bargain. She had mentioned the night before that she lived just the other side of Botafogo. I took her to the window and indicated the correct bus stop. I also kept spare coppers on the mantelpiece ready stacked for bus fares. I gave her a kiss and told her to help herself rather than bother with a taxi.

Sounds like you'll be one of the first bud.
Have a good trip and please let us know how the entry process goes as well as a report on what the current situation is like down there.
Muito obrigado.Just finished up a trip to São Paulo. Absolutely nothing to worry about.
I got insurance online for 5 days for $16 worth $1 million and $0 deductible. $500 k and $0 deductible was $11.
Arrival was easy and smooth. The immigration agent just made sure that my trip dates and insurance coincided. Everyone wears masks everywhere and I don't see any enforcement. The citizens just do it.
I didn't go to any bars. I got one from photo accompanates. I was talking to her two weeks before my arrival and had agreed to pay for a whole weekend. I prefer that since I am not the "wham bam thank you ma'am" type. Had some amazing sex (no anal) all weekend.

I've had 2 trips to GRU cancelled on me this year. Hopefully the 3rd time will work, but I sadly won't be able to squeeze those perfectly formed booties till December.

Sometimes in the middle of a session a Brasileira will ask you if you want to do her in the ass. Many times a polite request will be answered with a quick okay.
Of course if you know some basic Portuguese, you can screen the girls in the various venues. It's not hard to find a willing volunteer.

Colombianas love ass attention also but they definitely are not as open to anal sex like brasilerias.I have been in Brazil for years and have talked to hundreds of GPS. There is no correlation between a beautiful ass and the girls affinity for anal sex. All the Brazilian women want a shapely ass, its a matter of national pride after all, but only a small percentage actually like anal sex. I personally do not like anal and therefore many are quick to confide in me that they only do it for the money because most Brazilian men are fanatics for anal, and they get pressured into it from a business perspective. Every once in a while I meet someone that actually says she likes it, but very infrequently.

Will be reading the forum and appreciate any DMs, first time to Brazil I got cold feet last year and went to Colombia instead. Glad to hear it when smooth a friend put me up on seven corners insurance I got my insurance and I'm ready. It's like $44 dollars for 2 weeks with a deductible. Glad to hear it's all good looking forward to November.

Do you know if any of the bars / clubs / restaurants even open at all? I have a trip booked for Nov. That was suppose to be for the F1 race that got cancelled. Now I am not sure if it is worth the flight.

Maybe pull the trigger in October but hoping some clubs open like Bomboa and Scandallo so I can get the full experience.

Reopening next week Sept 2.
But if its too big, you can't see or get it all the way in LOL.You need to try it. Have her bent over on her knees at the edge of the bed, head and shoulders down on the bed, ass towards you facing upwards, spread those cheeks and voila! A most tempting invitation that you won't resist.
Reopening Sept 2.
I will be there in two weeks.
I was supposed to spend some time in São Paulo last week but cancelled. A couple of my Rio providers that make the bus or air trip weekly have mentioned that Bahamas Club is where most of the Bomboa girls are now and that it the venue of choice right now. Hear it is slightly cheaper than Bomboa and the quality is high. Can anyone confirm?

Seems like a logical choice if it stayed open.
News below is Scandallo opens Sept 2. I'the love to hear the first report. Supposedly some remodeling or expansion which is hard to imagine since it was already huge and luxe. Can't wait to hear.

Greetings to all. 1st time poster. 1st time to Brazil beginning 10 Sept. Thru mid Oct. Airbnb Moema for 11 days. Rio next for 10 ish days again airbnb in Lapa. I don't.
Know if the nightlife, street scene will have returned by then. But hoping. I want to try out the Centro options and it's a short ride to Copa. I like staying in locals.
Play zones, and making local friends. I'm a senior guy and happy with 1 shot a day / night, so socializing at night, Restaurants and clubbing is most of my fun. I don't speak.
Portuguese at all, but I've found google translate, especially conversation mode, works well enough in most situations where I'm language challenged. Flirting and eye candy.
I return to SP and have an Airbnb for the balance of my stay in Consolacao, near are Agusta and Av Paulista.
Thank you all for the wonderful info that you have shared on this and the Rio board. I have read both back a year or more, and feel like I'm good to go. With caution.
I've been practicing our hobby for 20+ years, mostly in SEA. 4 years ago I began visiting Colombia and I love it. I have many friends in Bogota and Medellin, but CoNogo.
Keeps me away. I've wanted to visit Brazil for a long time, but the Paisa were a strong siren song. I wonder if Brazileiras will tilt me. I'm not a big poster, but I owe.
A large debt to the board for all the good sharing. I will post a few times on my visit to help update "boots on the ground" I wish you all well. Treetopflyr.

I will be there in two weeks.Source for that?
Therefore I'll probably hit Sao Paulo in October, in one of the few countries in the World that will still have my European monger's arse.
From the escort sites I deduce most of the online action is in Moema / Jardins. Can you pundits confirm this is where I should try to get a rental?
I'll bring a lot of cash since the withdrawal limit on credit cards is so ridiculously low. Anything above 10 k reais is to be declared at customs. They have an online form for declaring cash ahead of landing. I hope there's no hassle with that. Having money to spend on pussy is one thing, accessing that same money in pussy countries is quite another.
I'm looking at a monthly rental between 1200 and 1800 USD. Any suggestion welcome.

I could take 2,500 reals out at a time, for as many times as I wanted to. This was more than enough for me. They charged a fee, but my institution refunds all such fees. I recommend Bradesco, but don't use any machine out on the street. Only withdraw from spots where you can go inside to get your money. Santander was also good, but I could only withdraw 1,000 reals at a time at that bank's machines (again as many times as I wanted to).

I believe Jardins is more walkable, but parts of Moema are convenient to things clinicas, Shopping Ibirapuera, etc. There are a lot of escorts in both areas so I always suggest doing some research and finding a highly recommended escort for incall or outcall that will blow your mind. While booking an escort is not as exciting as the clubs, the top SP escorts are as hot as Scandallo girls and it's a cheaper route. But do go to the clubs.
We've had debates here over whether to use ATMs or bring cash. Some of us use ATMs and have had no problem with our cards being violated. Others prefer to bring a lot of cash. I've never had a problem with the daily limit on withdrawals. It really depends on what you have in mind with the girls. If you do bring cash, try to find a rental with a small safe.
... If you do bring cash, try to find a rental with a small safe.Yeah, that would be the first thing I'd look for in a rental.
I also assume the casas de cambio will want to see the passport. So in the end whenever you go out to get cash either you risk you credit card or you risk your passport.

The problem with online is the possibility of the girl not being the same as the photos or not looking good on arrival / looking like she just got up. The research part you mentioned is a must. Look for the ones with positive reviews on sites like gp-guia.net.
For ATM use, set your own daily withdrawal limit on the card before travel and set alerts for withdrawals too. This way you get a sms or email after every use. As an added safety measure, you can lock cards after you make a withdrawal. Check to see if your card has the lock / unlock feature.
Wyatt, delete some of your PMs.
I also assume the casas de cambio will want to see the passport. So in the end whenever you go out to get cash either you risk you credit card or you risk your passport.I hear what you are saying about the passports. While I keep it locked up, I am less concerned about it than in the old days. I am not an expert, but I think they have digital inventories and my consulate won't leave me hanging in the event it is stolen. Of course like a lot of things, it's the hassle of having it stolen. Some idiot still might think it has value and take it anyway.

Santander had the most fee and worst conversion rate.
Bredesco is better, no fee for me, can take out multiple times in one day, conversion is based on yesterday's rate.
Banco do Brasil no luck getting money out like last year, they said its a glitch yea right.
Itau, no luck card does not work.
Banco 24 horas, like Santander.
Source for that?Couple of girls and people that work there.
Excellent advice on both things. The problem with online is the possibility of the girl not being the same as the photos or not looking good on arrival / looking like she just got up. The research part you mentioned is a must. Look for the ones with positive reviews on sites like gp-guia.net.Yes, do your research. Candid photos on Twitter are now common for Brasilian escorts. If they have good reviews, the Twitter girls are good to follow.
There's some slick photos on sites like clubmodel.com. Often, the girls advertise for a short period. Many times they either have mediocre reviews or no on-line footprint whatsoever. Enigmas, no matter how good their photos look, aren't a good choice for someone traveling through with limited language skills.
What's really cool about Jardins and Moema is that a hot, well-reviewed escort could be in a building right down the street. It's so cool to go downstairs get a coffee or a cocktail walk a block and meet your escort. You can also have her come over or meet you at a bar on the street.
As far as gp-guia.net, I speak a little Portuguese, but I can understand the reviews. Google Translate helps a lot. As most people know, it's best to follow prolific reviewers. Do not be solely influenced by someone who has only written one or two reviews.
Therefore I'll probably hit Sao Paulo in October, in one of the few countries in the World that will still have my European monger's arse.

The clubs and clinics take credit cards for the girls so I do not take large amount of money with me. Clubs will have 10% surcharge but I do not care with the exchange rate so good.
I'll be there in Oct also.
I see many high-end escorts advertising payment by credit card ("aceita cartoes"). Do they have a credit card machine that prints out a receipt? This could be a game-changer for avoiding the hassle of getting cash. If it involves going online to make the payment I'd rather not.
