Detailed bill was not provided this time in Cafe Photo. And now that you mention, my latest Scandallo bill is very detailed.
For me, Cafe used to be a place where bills and costs were fair, I mean, reallly fair. I used too feel like at home without taking too much care about the final bill.
Maybe the high price was because a fee for taking the girl to the motel of the club? Hahahaha.
That was late 2021. They must have counted Cuba Libre as two drinks. The price is more reasonable if you think of it this way.
They did not give me the itemized bill like Scandallo did. Did they not give you the itemized bill?
Scandallo Monday night.
My girlfriend was interested in changing up. She wanted a Loria Branca blonde or a red-haired ruvia to join us tonight. I sent her six photos of scandallo chicas to choose from. Kilt was THE club to visit in Sao Paulo of course. However, the bill you were presented with upon leaving was always a shock.

Tuesday night was booming with a local music group. The lead looks like freddy mercury. They did covers of old-school hits. So I was booming along with old-school Michael.
This time my garota and I were closer to the stage.

Ever notice, When you go to Scandallo, out of the elevator to the left is a couch where garatos sit? If the couch is empty, means there's a lot of dudes in the place.
Ever notice, that no one sits at the second level where the DJ is located, probably because people think it is mandatory to pay for the table bottle service. Which is not true. You are not required to get a table. Unless a huge party comes in and they need the space, but that is rare. However, I recommend you go up there for a little while as soon as you come in to the place, so you can scope out the ladies downstairs with no interruptions. Set your sites on one, and I promise, she will see you looking at her. If she doesn't, the bouncers will go down and get her for you (that's what I call service! Call her up, and her friends. Been many times, I would have 4 or 5 garatos up there, and I would tip the DJ and he would play all my favorite joints. Its like having your own party and no one in the place knows otherwise LOL.

Looking for up-to-date entrance requirements for the club / boates, especially Scandallo. Is a state (US) driver's license sufficient? Or photocopy of first page of passport?

I fear though I had to show them my passport on my 1st visit. I'd be interested to know if it's possible to have my passport registered without my ever having to bring the original to the club. Same about Casarao. Maybe bringing along a nice coulour paper copy when 1st visiting will satisfy requirements?
I have no problem with fingerprints however. Fingerprints didn't prevent me from enjoying Disneyland Orlando, neither should they stand in the way of mongering. My passport is what I don't want to lose under any circumstances.

I don't like Cafe Photo's fingerprint requirement either, but that is not the main reason I almost never go there. It is all about the girls. Although I have found some good girls at Cafe Photo, IMHO, there is no comparison in quality and quantity between Scandallo and Cafe Photo and yet the prices at these 2 clubs is roughly the same.
I would advise all boate punters who have never been to Photo, to give it a try, but only after you have enjoyed many nights at Scandallo & Bomboa and are then looking for something a little different. And don't forget about Casarao (late night 5 stars) which has a very different vibe than Scan or Bom and Bahamas (4 stars) which is less expensive and not as high quality, but still good.

I never had a problem with the waiters there, and during my very first trip to Rio found some real hotties up in there. The worst was the cabbies outside waiting to charge you three times the price! Fuck that! I would walk around the corner and hail a cab at the normal fare. One time I was leaving with a branca and she tried to tell me we needed to use a cab out front. I said, "OK, so what I pay for the taxi comes out of your money". You should have seen that tute get to stepping around that corner! LOLOLOL! I visited Barbarella in its last dying days, and it was really sad. Virtually empty with less than a handful of washed up hoors. So, so sad.

I will be returning to SP in November after Formula 1 week ends. Hotel rates have sure gone thru the roof since June, holy fuck, but I managed to nail down a few "reasonable" hotel reservations on travel points and what not. As usual, I can't wait!

It was an OK looking place, and I remember I had some sashimi. But there were very few girls there, and all were quite average looking. I guess it didn't matter anyway since most of the girls only paid attention to the few Japanese guys who were in there. That's why I concluded that Kilt was a club for the Japanese yakuza LOL. US ID was sufficient to enter all the boates Scandallo / bomboa / cafe foto / Bahamas / Casarao / connections. Yes went to all of them that time. In fact met up with an old Bamboa flame now working in Cinnections. Planning another trip end of this month and will try out Gauguin. Giuseppe you around? Let's go together.
About cafe foto I had been fingerprinted in 2021 or 2022 don't remember but have been there many times since. Most of the time the finger print does not work it seems but they just wave me in, but if it's a new guy at the reception I'll just show my DL ID.
Looking forward to my upcoming trip let's see how it goes this time. It's been great fun the previous times.

I don't think the boates really care about what ID you use. They probably just want a name and DOB and maybe some "ID number" to add in their database.
I was using a NYC city ID with an old address as I wanted to be more discreet. The ID expired in 2021 and they didn't seem to notice or care. I used it at Scandallo, Cafe Photo, Bamboa, Connections and Casarao.
I even had a friend use his scuba diving ID from PADI and they accepted it!
For FX exchange, they've accepted both a black and white paper copy and photo of passport from phone.
Just wanted to add some comments about this place. I've read comments saying that only go there in the evening but boy you maybe missing out. So I had visited the clinicas during the day like prime and 57 house a few times but at prime sometimes there was just too much waiting on a busy day and one would have to be fortunate to snag a hot gal that one liked without some waiting at least. At 57 house there was hardly a few girls if at all during the day. I rarely venture out during the day so instead of checking out all the other daytime clinical decided to go to Scandallo one Saturday early afternoon. Now the number of chics were less than what you would find in the evening of course but there were enough hotties to pick from. And there is a free buffet going on and I just ask the staff to bring my bottle of booze which I always ensure an open bottle kept at the place during my entire stay in SP haha works out much cheaper that way kkkkk. Anyways that particular Saturday afternoon snagged a young hot student who was doing the early shift and what a refreshing change from the PROs. Anyway took her upstairs to the room where she had the porn channel on by the time I came out of the shower. She left the place after the session, and sometime later I snagged another early shift gal before she left. Came down had dinner by which time the evening shift girls started to come in. I was feeling really good now and enjoyed the scene for a couple of hours and having recuperated now picked up another two for a 3 some. I am looking at planning something like this for my next trip to SP in September. Land at CGH and head straight to Scandello. Eat lunch and have a pop out of the way. Pay the afternoon entry and buy a bottle. Then head to hotel to check in, rest and freshen up, eat a nice meal nearby and head back to Scandello to finish the night. Rinse and repeat for the next three days. Might even try out Casarao late night to see how it goes. Will report back after my trip.

Just wanted to add some comments about this place. I've read comments saying that only go there in the evening but boy you maybe missing out. You are not required to get a table. Unless a huge party comes in and they need the space, but that is rare. However, I recommend you go up there for a little while as soon as you come in to the place, so you can scope out the ladies downstairs with no interruptions. Plus I want breakfast ready to go when I wake up and not have to work for it😜. There is also the safety issue. If you bring a girl to the hotel, she has to register (you don't have to register her at some hotels if you don't want to) but I always do. They take a copy of her ID and she knows that so she is much much less likely to steal or cause drama. Doesn't mean it doesn't happen though so you have to be careful anyways. Plus. The security at a hotel in case she decides to rob you and bring her friends over. Much less likely to happen at a big hotel (heard of this happening in Colombia recently).
On the other side of the equation, the girls also feel safer if you are staying at big hotel especially if they are going for an overnight with an unknown foreigner. They have some security options vs going to a random airbnb.

As long as you book in a girl friendly hotels (search in the forum should provide you the list) you have no problem bringing girls at any hour. Some hotels may change small guest fee (even if you booked the room for 2 people) but most don't. Lots of Airbnbs don't allow guests. Even when the host agrees, apartment security (which is intendent of the host) can cause problems about you brining a guest that wasn't registered during check-in. You don't want that drama especially when you bring different girls every day, especially late at night. I would stay in hotel and not deal with unexpected hassles.

I've been in this place which is huge, 3 bedrooms including one for servants, huge front living room, huge balcony, 8th floor overlooking praia macumba and the atlantic, and not once in 7 months has the owner ever been in my place, and I can bring anyone in, no facial recongition system, just a few doormen I know. I've had porn stars in here, and within a easy hike of praia abrico, the famous nude beach, and a morning walk to the best swim surf beach in rio, praia macumba, liteally voodoo beach.
I agree with Anaggie and Lalabo and I favor hotels for all the reasons given, but if I were planning a stay of 6 months or longer, I would rent a condo making sure beforehand and in writing, I could bring over whoever I wanted at any time. I would conduct my condo search on the ground in SP or RJ, so I could inspect the apartment and building in person and there would be no mistakes.

I end up paying about 5500 reais or 1000 USD per month. But I have a real kitchen, and all the rest I described, including the highest speed internet. The biggest downside is the distance from centro, but that is also the upside for me. There are no gringos. Which I like. No tourists. I wear my vasco shirt and my bombeiro civil cap and keep my gringo mouth shut. The local terma is Paris which is top tier IMHO, best girls show up here and go back and forth between Perola Negra, and the local prive is Recreio Terapias, which at 250 r is more expensive than some centro prives which were 150 but have generally gone up to 180 r. I have a few regulars trained to take buses for pernoites, or being cheap, I will reluctantly pay for uber, and I even uber in and out the odd college girl. The plus side is Praia Macumba which is the best surf swim beach in Rio because of the geography created by Pontal which creates a little cove protected from the currents so there is about 2 square KM of swim / surf plain, right in front of a awesome beach with like zero idiot tourists to screw it up, and the hottest local girls. I picked this particular area because of a fellow countryman veteran who also rented from Facebook marketplace down the street, also a two bedroom, newer construction better amenities in the condo, so I have a aquaintance in the area. Hey Tochka, don't take this the wrong way but if your Scandallo fail to connect rate is as high as you seem to be reporting, then possibly the problem lies with you and not the girls. I have stayed in both Hotels and Airbnbs. I too like hotels for the reasons Anaggie mentioned. As long as you book in a girl friendly hotels (search in the forum should provide you the list) you have no problem bringing girls at any hour. Some hotels may change small guest fee (even if you booked the room for 2 people) but most don't. Lots of Airbnbs don't allow guests. Even when the host agrees, apartment security (which is intendent of the host) can cause problems about you brining a guest that wasn't registered during check-in. In any case, no matter how you rate girls, I think you will find plenty of Tier 1's (lookers or "model" quality) in Scandallo that will measure up to your preferences. Critic. You are correct about the Michelin Guide. Envvai is a 2 star, actually. The other two star I ate at was the at DOM , but that one was not as good. Keep in mind, it is expensive, I dropped 2800 brl for dinner, for two. Sometimes, we all got to treat ourselves to the finer things, I guess LOL. It was well worth it for a one time experience. Rah. Yes, Caruso Lounge (in Itiam) is only a high end members club Cigar lounge. You do not have to be a member to enter. The members get extra privileges like storage areas, etc. It also has a restaurant connected to it, no reservations needed. I went with 2 hot garotas, we sat in the couch areas, watching US Open, they have a huge screen inside, and smoked a few Cuban cigars, the garotas had gin and juice LOL the place is great. Thursday's NFL opener in Scandallo was fvcking packed. I don't remember seeing so many bros in one place. All the tables were full. The waiters moved a few of the patio standing tables to the main room to accommodate dudes watching the game and getting their jiggy on. Is spending a week or two in Sao Paulo and staying safe (As in not robbed or drugged) fool-proof if you are solo traveling with only a few weeks or month of learning Portuguese from a Duolingo app?
My main purpose would be to visit Scandallo girls or high quality women. Anyone ever had a sketchy or set up from any of them, or perhaps sticking to using the in club hotel room would be safest?

You are kidding, right? Go back 6 months & RTFF! I do not think you will read one report about getting mugged. Stay in a good neighborhood and use common sense and Uber when you are out and about late at night. As to getting drugged, ha ha, if you are so worried about it shag your boate girls in-house, or sign them in with your hotel security before taking them up to your hotel room. Me too. 500 (entry) + 240 (room) + 700 to 800 minimum for an attractive girl is 1500 more or less and it the minimum I get away with. I've done almost daily visits at Casarao, to the point where they don't usually ask for my ID anymore. I've been having very good success showing up right around 12:30. That's right when the top talent starts showing up, and if you find one you like early you can get in at the hotel pretty quickly and come back to the bar for a second round. I've seen a few very welcome familiar faces, though I found my all stars from last trip are pushing their prices a noticeably higher because they're so in demand. One is charging R1,000 an hour now, which for Casarao is basically unheard of, while the other two are at R700. I know they're getting it too, because I rarely see any of them on the floor for more than 15-20 minutes. That said I've had plenty of success picking new girls, chatting them up a bit, and doing half hours for R300 after confirming that they do BBBJ.
I'd say 70% have been really passionate fucks, 20% average, and then 10% disappointments. The quality available for those R300 half hours is honestly impressive. My general sense is that R1,500 is really the new baseline for most of the girls I'd be interested in, even if I can occasionally squeak by with R1,000-1,200. In contrast with previous trips, R800 almost always got the job done. Now I'm absolutely sure you can find girls for less, but for me I've just never believed in going to a steak house and ordering chicken. If I'm getting a Casarao quality girl, I'd rather save myself the Scandallo entry fee.
I also had a Bomboa visit in there, and as usual my waiter made the night. His name is Marcos, speaks great English, and is extremely attentive. He recommends girls for me and brings them over if I like their look, or if I see one I like he'll fetch her. In general his picks have always given me better service than mine, and he seems to check in with clients about the quality of the service. He's not afraid to tell me he's heard bad things about a girl, which for me is priceless. R800-R1,000 seems to be the standard here for the girls. One thing to note, it seems like the club now charges a flat 10% service fee, and the guys do inquire about a tip on top of that. For me I always tip Marcos 10-20% anyway, but I did want to make people aware that 10% seems to be baked in now which could be off putting. FYI Marcos is on vacation for the rest of the month, but if you go in October onward I would ask for him by name.
Still have a while left on my trip, so I may hit up some of the less travelled spots. If anyone has had a good experience lately somewhere other than the big three, definitely let me know. Thanks!

There is no point in walking away for 200 Reals more (as long as you can afford it) especially if you are coming from US / Europe as it is less just than $40 more. Last week I got there at 7:08 pm and had to pay 500, wasn't happy about it but that's how it goes. So make sure you are there before the clock hits 7 pm to avoid paying extra 200.

When I paid my bill I remember a 50 reals and 30 reals charges on top of my bill of 530 reals. I was drunk and didn't care to ask them what they were but I later realized they must be the tip the waiter kind of mentioned was added for my connivence. I wasn't happy to learn that they have decided the amount of tip and sneakily added. They give you a receipt for the whole amount but not one with break down of charges. As if they auto tip wasn't enough, waiter asked me for tip so I did give him for good service he provided without realizing tip was already part of my bill. The whole thing was very sneaky and deceptive to extract as much money as possible from drunk customer. I will talk to them about their sneaky tactics next time I visit the club. Scandallo is very transparent with the changes by providing a bill with detailed breakdown of charges.

Arrived early in the morning and headed straight to the hotel, in Itaim Bibi. I always stay in this area, have tried many in SP but Itaim wins. Leggero gets really high marks. I think it's OK. It's a matter of personal preference. I prefer the pizzas of the Braz chain. There is also a very good Italian restaurant called Osteria Zucco a couple of doors from the Moema Braz on Rua Grauna.
Both nights were spent at Scandello. No reason to go anywhere else. I enjoy the atmosphere and the vibes so why go somewhere else? Plus, I was with two great ISGers for company SocratesNY and Lalabo. Later on Saturday, we had another guy join our group who is a close contact of Steve9696. Plus we had some other contacts of SocratesNY join so we had a decent size group of guys to hang out with. This is what makes it fun guys hanging out, hot looking women and free flowing drinks😜.
Friday night thought it would be busy with the game but it didn't really get busy till later in the evening. The web security or lack thereof on this site has been covered in great depth over the years. The bottom line is, however secure you believe a website to be you should NEVER post anything on the Internet you would not publish in online editions of your local newspaper. This is especially true of personally identifying information. I hope there are not many people who needed this reminder.
Unfortunately, those Indians have very little respect and regard for others privacy and private / personal data. They don't give a damn about the consequences of posting / sharing pictures or personal info online / offline that someone may have shared with them in confidence. If they get their hands on anything they consider it their property to do whatever they please.
I was going to make a post about this website being insecure. I am glad you bought the topic up. Yes, like you said, everything everyone is posting on this site is transmitted as is without being encrypted. That means anyone on the network can read everything including your login credentials. I am not sure why this site still doesn't use https. When I joined this site 12+ years ago, I was dumb enough to pay the $20 membership fee to get messaging privileges using credit card without realizing the site was insecure. Luckily my CC wasn't compromised.
Are any of you realized this site is insecure and concerned about using it?
