I think we on the same page as much as two people can be.
This part had me laughing so hard. Girls rarely give me feedback about sex. Even if I do get them to say something it is not specific.

Maybe the girls in Brazil look better but the whole trip there airfare, hotels, food etc. Is too expensive. My transport cost to Tijuana is $11. Trolley from trolley parking where parking is free $5 r/ t and HK Limo from border to HK are r / t $6. The recipe for a successful visit is a VIP card HK or Tropical, a room at Cascadas or Rizo for a discounted price on Monday or Tuesday. Yes, money is required for any relationship. However, you're missing a key point which is likely due to your lack of experiencing dating a working girl.

Tijuana is easier to access but that's all it has going for it for the most part over Brazil. I'm just writing from a perspective of someone who has tried both and can warner brother from making a trip here and having a ok time but not an amazing time. For the brazilian bros, Tijuana is not a suitable replacement for Brazil. Spain would be the better option, barcelona or madrid.
I'm not convincing anyone to go to Brazil. Stay in Tijuana. Brazil is special because it hasnt been invaded by gringos like mexico and Colombia.

My ex wife is Brazilian, I speak pretty good Portuguese and have been there many times (so I am qualified to comment) but have not been there in many years for simple reasons. It is very expensive to tap the top tier girls which really are only to be found in Sao Paulo and the very expensive Scandolo (very much like Hong Kong but more upscale) club in Sao Paolo. A night here will cost you $300 or more to pull a girl with room fees, the gal, etc. So its super expensive. Also, other cheaper options in places like termas (spas / massage houses) do not have really good quality overall. I have fucked some serious 9's in HK for 120-140 and have had many good experiences and performers there. Brazil back in the late 90s and early 2000s with Help Disco was its Golden Era and this was arguably the best mongering venue I have ever been to in my life. This was in Rio, and as soon as the government made them close this place for the Olympics, Rio became a 2nd tier destination and Brazil lost its lustre for me. Sao Paulo has always been pretty good, but very expensive compared to other places like Colombia, Costa Rica, or Tijuana.
The 14 hour flight to Brazil, visa requirement, lack of great places does not make it a top mongering destination and I should be biased if anyone is as I have had lots of experience with Brazil. But, in my opinion Medellin is by far the best place right now in the world with a huge availability of girls from nightclubs, Parque Lleras, Facebook, Seeking, Tinder, etc for a cheap price. Hong Kong is one of the best places in the world (and I have mongered in 25 countries) to still find top notch quality gals for a reasonable price without a hassle to get there if you are on the West Coast. The thing that kills it for me in Tijuana that outside of Hong Kong, there are not a lot of other really good places to go. I also get bored after 2 nights as there is not much to do in the day, and I cannot see myself being longer here than a couple of nights. I don't know, but this is just my 2 cents and I would much rather do Colombia over Brazil any day.I don't mind a longish flight since it will be redeye.
Granted my flight time is shorter than 14 hrs but its still longer than 4 which is that sweet spot.
I'll also say Colombia has a bad reputation with girls drugging and stealing.
They are kinda desperate so that's why they charge low but also try to haggle so much with extra services and whatever which I don't like and leads some to go another step to make that extra cash by stealing.

In SP I never had this issue.

A Tijuana girl is like 120 $ to 150 $ but you have to add the room fee of $40 and their drinks and its actually more.
Yes if you do go to scandallo which is the most high end place in SP it will be like $300 all said and done and most guys only do that once or twice on a trip.
Plus you get food, drinks, room and a girl included with that. You can always get a girls number and meet them outside to lower cost.
If you go to regular clubs in SP you can easily find a girl for 500 brl and if you go to the clinicas its like 300 brl for an hour.
So you can scale from the low end to high end in SP depending on your budget.

The tacos, in the right places, are the best in the world.Pretty much in any city in Mexico with at least a half million (and often less) population you'll find no shortage of great places to eat to fit all budgets. Tijuana is quite expensive in terms of Mexican cities so you can imagine how much cheaper it is to eat in other cities, especially in the interior. In the States, a $100 restaurant bill is more like $130 after tax and tip. I love the steakhouses in Hermosillo, as Sonora is famous throughout Mexico for steaks. Drinks and food with a date after tip is around $130-150. That same experience would bust me $300-350 easy in the States. And don't even get me started on tacos. I love fuckin tacos figuratively and literally.

For some guys close to the border Tijuana can be good.

Ended up heading down last night for a couple hours. I was there from around 10:30 to 12:30 am. Went to Hong Kong's VIP Chicas party on Wednesday may 14. HK finally parked a white BMW cross over, the first prize out front. Second and third prize $5 K and $3 K.

Just follow the via rapida, I believe it's called, and you will see signs literally pointing you towards the Sentri lanes. There's a right turn at a 7-eleven past Plaza Rio and the arrows to Sentri will point you in the right direction.

I always take Coahuila to Madero and go around that way so I avoid the police at the bridge because I would probably fail a breathalyzer test.
The issue you have as MNC pointed out is that depending when you leave your going to deal with how many people are in the Sentri line already and how many entrances they have blocked off so your stuck driving around to get in the end of the line. On one of my last visits I went to get in line around 9 am and had to go all the way to the Holiday Inn and flip a ***** to get to the beginning of the line. If your not familiar with Tijuana I'm not sure how you would figure this out with trying to use your phone.
You've driven in Tijuana in the past so you might feel comfortable but just something to keep in mind. As Nothing pointed out it's pretty easy to find once your on the areápida since they have tried to add more signs in the city to help tourists find the way.

To learn the shortest route from HK to SENTRI, follow HK's limo for the trip back.

That being said Tijuana is a place of desperate poverty and there is lots of crime, but as long as you stay to the downtown area and especially if you are taking taxis to and from your hotel you will be fine. I think the news likes to play up the danger because it gains viewership but it is safer now than it has been in the past that's for sure. And evaluate for yourself whether or not the card is worth it for you based on what you anticipate using it for. The card is up to $70 now and lasts only 3 months. Generally speaking if you use the card for more than 1 hotel stay (even if it's only 2 stays) and you take advantage of the daily free drink each day you're there, it more than pays for itself. If you're only using the card once in a 3 month period, I'd think it's more than likely not worth paying the $70 but again, that depends on what you'd be using it for so that's just something you'd want to do your own math on.
I'd disregard the free transportation to and from the border as I think they provide that service for anyone (VIP member or not) and long as they're headed to or from HK or Cascadas. In all my years going I've never been asked for a VIP card when taking the HK limo to and from the border.

Sounds weird to me. They do not permit pictures by anyone, period. You could have talked to security. I did see some employees carrying professional cameras but never seen them going randomly and taking pictures without warning in the busy club.

Well I was in need of some drinking and since I don't like to drink alone I found myself in Tijuana. I had decided to get a room so I drove in parked at the border and walked the short distance to the HK shuttle. If you don't have GE or Sentri this is not a good idea but for me I hate paying the high costs of parking on the SD side and the long walk to get to the border and the long walk back. Parking on the Mexican side saves me this hassle.
The only odd thing is I parked around 11 pm and the Sentri line was backed up which in the past I would never see a line at that time of night. The good thing is the next day when I crossed at about 10 am the line was short and I was back in the US quickly.
Shuttle ride was easy and I didn't even notice any cops stopping cars at the bridge. Dropped off and went to check in at Cascades, to my surprise all the bigger rooms were booked leaving only single or doubles available. I guess guys are really taking advantage of the discounts. I'm assiming you are an American (living in the US) traveling to these places. Most of those other places, you will rack up 1000's of dollars in travel expenses, so it does not come out cheaper unless you plan on living there or staying there for months at a time. If you are on the east coast, maybe only Colombia rivals TJ in terms of expense. At the farther away destinations, it seems that the air fare alone will eat up any savings with girls for a short term visit, unless you really get a great deal.
Now, I don't go abroad looking for sex tourism, so maybe I'm not exactly qualified to say. But I've researched other places and nothing I've seen or heard has made me go, "Wow, this is so much better than the zona norte", especially when you factor in the logistics of getting there vs having an incredible playground close to your own backyard. Don't worry about locals' resentment against stuck up digital nomads, only in La Condesa and Roma. I found locals all over CDMX fun, warm, welcoming. UBER driver told me street crimes may be around the dark streets of Technology Park, near hotels Mina and Mino.
Forget about Guadalajara and Monterrey, very boring compared to CDMX. CDMX is nice, clean, green, feel safe with lots of good food and classy / interesting things to enjoy. Go during the Independence day Sept 16 for huge parade, firework and parties.
Stay near the Catedral Metropolitano and Claudia Sheinbaum's office. Lots of nice hotels and historical sites, huge street market with food. Tour buses pick up on the North side of the Catedral. Take the Hop on buses to tour all over the city and vicinity. Take the subway to visit Titeohuacan pyramid and the Guadalupe Basilica, quick, cheap, better than tour vans.
