Hi all, here is my report about my second Tripp to heaven :-)
I was sooner in Moscow as i post here...Business as usally...
On my last visit i was only in the NF, and some of you recomend strongly to go also to CF. Thank's a lot for this Tipp. On my virst day i tuck a cap from my Hotel (again Marriott Tverskaya) to CF, it was Monday about 21:00 not much action there, i was taking some beers at the Bar and was watching some Sport on TV. About 22:30 the some Girls cam in, they looks like waht i'm looking for :-)
I tried to make eyecontact, it needs severl minuts and two of them came to me, some nice chat and i spend them some drinks. I was not sure if the are workin girls or not...so i dont make any sugestion about this. (i dont want tourbles) but one of girls was asking me if i like to spend some time whit her in me Hotel...i said yes why not... she was asking for 120$ i agreed.
She was 19 tall brunett, pretty face and relly big boobs, i would say a good 7. The service was good, she really like to kiss :-) and she was staing whit me until the next mornig 7:00
The next day i was out whit some suppliers and the let me out on the hotel about 23:45 ... quick to my room and then a cab to NF. Hmm, when i was there i was a littel disapointet...not much girls there... but also not much Mens. I tock a nice blond Girl back the Hotel seh was 24 realy tall and nice Figur also good 7. Serive was ok..a litte to much stress from her side....but ok for me because she was likeing anal :-) 150$ for 3 hours. It looks so that late in the evenig the price drops...
Next day... back to NF at 21:00 eating there ....yeah baby if you are there go and eat there, the food is great but the catwalk from the clubare to the restrooms from the Girls....oh my good it was boner time :-)
A tall blackhair girl whit realy nice face was taking my atetion (she was a 9 or 10). But she want 300$ i said no way....later in the evening when i was going to the restroom she stoped me and was asing for 200$ crazy....but i had a good chat whit a ohter girl..so i said no...to late.
I had this evening or night a 21 blond very crazy girl (9)....also for 200$ about 2 or 3 hours...

nycguy... try the dead of winter... airline prices drop dramatically... bring your long underwear and a warm coat! Don't worry about when you come... the girls will be here and they are very warm!
joe... which TGIF? Although it doesn't really matter, because you can pick up girls anyplace. Of course, TGIF is not the best place. If you are at the TGIF on Tverskaya... I suggest going downstairs and walking 100 feet and going into the pyrimid or the cafe next to it(or walk another block and go to Nightflight). Or, if you are at the TGIF at the Atrium, walk across the street to Chesterfields (Doug and Marty's) after 2300 or midnight. You will not have any problem picking up and meeting girls at either place.

I have been in Moscow for about two weeks in June. As I mostly used the information form this board there is not much new that I can add.
On my first night, I went to Dirty Dancing and got acquainted with very nice girl, let's call her Galina, and spent most of my time in Moscow with her. She is a very nice and regular Moscow girl, a little on the conservative side. It was a very nice experience and I learned a lot about Russians from her. At some point we even considered going to Turkey together for a week for vacation, but I decided not to do so as I was on a mission in Russia :)
Lineups: I tried them on three occasions. The first time it was with a friend and I was too tired from a long afternoon session with Galina. So I just observed the scene. He picked a nice Moldavian girl and had a good experience with her. Later I got girls from lineups myself on two occasions. In both times I got disappointed, the first time being a total disaster. At the lineup, she looked nice, but at home once I undressed her, she turned out to be a monster. Although I did a better job the second time, a nice blond girl, she turned out to have lots of scars everywhere and this was big turn-off for me. I think picking a really beautiful and good girl from lineups requires a bit of experience and it is also a matter of luck. So, if you are in Russia only for a short period, you better stick to NF, Chesterfield or the salons...
We easily found the two lineups CA Traveller have mentioned here. They are quite convenient being so close to Chesterfield. But I have seen much more beautiful girls on the way to the airport. I forgot the name of the avenue, Leningradkoe Shosse or Prospekt or something like that. All cab drivers know it anyways. There were so many lineups on that prospekt, one after another, some maybe only 50 meters apart. And somehow I managed to pick-up a monster, well though luck :).
Actually if you don't mind seeing the same girl more than once lineups are very economical. The first night you pay $100, later on she will be more than happy to see you for only $40-50 instead of going to the lineup again. It is a win-win situation for both you and her.
I checked out the scene in NF and Chesterfield too, don't have anything to add though. Pricewise lineups and Chesterfield are comparable. But at Chesterfield you can chat with the girls, dance, have a drink and find out about them. But you never know know what you would get from a lineup.
My friend took me to a salon called Salon Fantazii. Phone number(s): (095) 778-5266, (095) 778-5317. It is very close to Night Flight. They have pictures of girls on the Net, but actual girls are much nicer. Actually, the first time we went there, my intention was just to take a look at the girls and leave and wait for my friend outside. But it didn't take me much time to change my mind once I saw the girls. I definitely recommend, a quality place, $50/hour.
I visited another salon (tel: 790-60-08). It was day time and they had only 3 girls. Maybe they always have 3 girls. I picked a girl called Liza (http://publichouse.ru/ankets/1052295005.html) because I knew she was doing analnyj. She is not very beautiful and even a little on the older side. Normal sex is $50, anal is $70 per hour. I paid her $50 initially, and aggreed to pay an additional $20 if we do anal. I had the best paid-sex in my life. It was total GFE. She came twice, I came three times, and she asked me to stay longer (for free), she definitely enjoyed sex including anal. It was the best paid sex I have ever had.
We also checked out the Safari. Entrance fee is 500 or 600 rubles, lap dances are 100 rubles per song. They have some real stunners there. But it is almost impossible to stop the girls, they keep coming and coming, and although 100 rubles is cheap for a lap dance, in one hour I ended up spending around $50. Have your 100 ruble notes ready before you go!
Overall my trip was a lot fun! I got hooked-up with Russia. This is very dangerous actually, I already started planning my next trip. Maybe I should get a job over there :)

Hedonist, great report. I enjoyed reading it. I was there for three nights a few weeks ago and never did more than CF and Night Flight. You managed to sample many different Moscow experiences. What did you think of NF? I thought the girls were pretty but I felt they had a bit of a poor attitude so I left without taking one out.

hedonist... glad your trip to RU went well. Sorry, I haven't made my first trip to the Ukraine yet. Although I'm planning two trips in the next seven months and I have my visa, the actual trips are up in the air.
Too bad about your luck with the lineups... I continue to have great success with them, but they continue to be "like a box of chocolates"!
Also, I tend to stay totally away from the lineups to and from SVO. I prefer the ones on Leninisky Prospect or the ones around the Garden Ring near CF. However, I did find an NF quality girl just across Tverskaya from the Marriott Grand that was spectacular! 5'9", slim, natural blond with a great attitude. NF quality and pricing, but w/o the NF/CF attitude!
BodyRockerForU: I can tell you a lot about Galena, a nice little city in Northern Illinois, but I cannot give you Galina's phone number ((by the way her real name is not Galina), because she is a regular girl... I din't have a GF experience with her, she has been indeed my GF and she cried a bucket of tears when I was leaving. I hope you understand me...
A side note on Dirty Dancing: Although it is not difficult to pick-up a devushka there if you are also young, let's say twenty something, it is a bad club in general. Girls are usually not on par with those in Cabana, Voodoo, Karma Bar etc. If you are above 30, definitely don't go to Dirty Dancing as the crowd there will be very young and you will stand out like a grandpa. In my humble opinion the best club for a foreigner in Moscow is Karma-Bar. Girls are classnye, and very approachable, I mean regular girls.

jimbehr2000: I liked NF. NF girls are very beautiful and but also seemed to be very professional. Not really my cup of tea. I went there with the same attitude that I had for Tretyakov Gallery, for sightseeing purposes and I striked very interesting conversations with the girls. The last girl, she looked very much like Japanese, was telling me how much I'll miss if I don't take her home, at some point in our conversation she started to lick her lips and caress my crotch under the table. It was all so fake, that I couldn't take it anymore and I left.

CA, there is a girl on Tverskaya right across from Marriott Grand every night at 10:30. Right next to her is a guy in a parked car on the sidewalk watching/protecting her. Is this girl herself a prostitutkie or does she just direct you to thelineup around the corner. Also on the ring road near CF I noticed some street walkers as well as an older woman holding a homemade sign with what looks like a serial number on it. Is the older woman with the sign somehow involved with a lineup?

jb... the babushkas holding the signs are advertising for rooms... you might get laid, but you might just get screwed!
The girl across from the Grand on Tverskaya is the "beacon" girl directing enquiring minds down the street to the lineup, which is just a little past the Adriatic restaurant.
Some of the girls on the garden ring are beacons and some are single hooks. The clue for the beacon girl is that there is always a car parked nearby with someone watching out for her and usually with a CB antenna to communicate with the lineup bosses.

I just got back from my first Moscow trip a few weeks ago and I don't speak Russian. There were very few times when it was problematic and overall I say without hesitation not to worry about that. You'll be able to get around ok. Where are you staying, for how long, and are you going alone? Most American brand or tourist oriented hotels have front desk staff that speak English well. Many younger people speak English well also. I probably wouldn't stray too far off the beaten tourist path on your first trip but don't worry to much about the language issue.
Nightflight and Doug and Marty's aka Chesterfield's are very easy to navigate speaking English only. I would suggest you visit a lineup--I regret not having done so. If you come across an English speaking taxi driver he may offer his cell number. He could be a very valuable resource for you while in town. Moscow is an incredible town to visit. You'll have a great time. Hope you can comment here on what you did there and how you liked it.

Publichouse is just a web site. You gotta call the girls to make an appointment and to get their address. If you speak some Russian you can easily manage this on your own, otherwise you need help. Click on girls profile and there you'll see what kind of sex they are providing. Many don't do anal, some offer it for a surcharge unless you get lucky like I got :)

The Black American Marine who lost a tooth at the CD market from beatings meted by skinheads was just an example of the plight of Blacks in this country. His case received the celebrated attention of the media and authorities because he happened to be American nothing, which he did to merit that citizenship, likewise his Russian nemesis that also did nothing to merit the Russian nationality except that their parents are Russian. Attacks on Blacks in Moscow and surrounding regions are so rampant that some of the Blacks have came to their sad conclusion through this way.
Objectively looking at the reasons for such attacks and their unhindered continuation, one is tempted to conclude that the white public (foreign and indigenes) are in support for these attacks. By the way are these youths not helping to propagate the white superiority notion?
Also the fact that these so-called skinheads and hooligans copy their fashion and style from mentors in civilized refined societies like Britain and Germany is worthy of notice.
As already mentioned above, objectively looking at the reasons why dark skin humans are the victims of such barbaric tendencies and actions, it is worthwhile to take into consideration the depraved disposition of these Russians. They like their western counterparts have been exposed to the modern world and its benefits. Through the media, computer, fashion and interactions, they have been exposed to the facilities and comforts of the twenty-first century, yet they remain largely spectators. They watch youths of their own age in the US and Europe ride in slick cars, dress with modern expensive fashion and maintain costly hairstyles. They watch as their western colleagues rent or own cozy apartments while they themselves are crammed together with their parents and sisters in komulkas. They are frustrated and at such direct their anger at the poor darkies who are no better than they are.
All in all, blacks constitute a challenge to the pride and manliness of these Russian youths. The further going out of blacks with Russian women, which they consider the only thing left for them to honor and protect, is aggravatory. No one can deny the fact that the sight of a black boy walking on the streets with a Russian girl is very strange and provoking intense emotions on the part of the Russians, leading to jealousy and hatred. The Russians venerate their women and many have transferred their gender right to these women. It seems that the men have also handed to the women their latter years, because looking at the number of babushkas crawling the streets without dedushkas it is but very easy to conclude towards that direction. Their women mean every thing to them. They provide the men with accommodation, lodging them against the Russian cold. How can they share these precious women with blacks?

I am new to the forum and I have to say that I have become very interested in traveling to Russia. I feel that I just have to see this country and its women to believe it since most of the postings on here have already spoiled me. I have traveled to Amsterdam and Frankfurt Main recently and was shocked from both the Window babes and the FKK clubs. Anyhow, I have already booked my flight, hotel, and a tour guide for my trip to Moscow this October. I would appreciate any good traveling advice that you all can provide me with.

The city is just breath-taking, and the little streets with its little shopping areas call for much exploration to be done. I've been to other eutopean cities but this is quite a culture shock. Regular girls are also extra-ordinary beautiful.
In my last 18 hours, I've already visited one salon and had a great night with a lineup girl. details to follow once I return home.
Now, I was wondering if somebody knew a salone closer to the Hyatt. The place I visited yesterday was katenka.ru and they are about 20 min form here. Like this one, I would much prefer to have somebody who speaks some English. #1030 4-5 days with one girl is good but I would want to spend one night with them first to see if the service and chemistry is right between the two of you. The easiest thing to do would be to go to CF and try to hook with someone. CF is the easiest place to meet girls in Moscow imho. If the chemistry is right then negotiate a long term relationship. But I must add that having someone different each night is my first choice.

I prefer the FKKs very much over the window babes.
You will find Moscow great in that a very beautiful girls will stay over-night with you for as little as US100-150. Most, as I am finding out (or for the lack of my effort) do not offer greek nor bbbjs. This is a bit dissapointing to me since FKK girls would at a price. The girls are about the same in quality from the places that you have already been simply because a lot of the girls in Ams or FKKs are Russians or from near by (Ukranians, Belaruz?, Romanian, etc).

I found the service at Katenka to be good.
The staff girl is kind in assisting you in English.
The palce is a bit confusing to find because you would not expect the appartment building to look so terrible from the pictures in the internet. The appartment itself is beautiful though! The building is on Karasnoproletarskaya (?) street building 8. There are three entrances but you get in the door 1. The appartment is 9 and I think is was on the 4th floor. Black padded door. I will advice you to call ahead for two reasons. One, they will not open the door if you are a total stranger. Two, sometimes they do not call in the girls unless you call first. I found about it the hard way. There is a tall tough looking guard in there that will assist you in to the building should you find yourself lost in the area.
I still have the some questions to the board.
1. Where can I find a good salon near Marriot or Hiyatt?
2. What is a goos alternative to in-call? Outcalls beside salons.
3. What is a good English speaking agency or girl?
I called thin blond girl Irina yesterday from the Moscow Times(?), but I would not pick her from a lineup because of her face (nice tight slim body though). The other girl that I sent home before her was drunk and ugly. Total hit and miss. 120 for 3 hours after negotiation.

Your best bet is Night Fly, great girls for GFE, some even get marrried to foreigners, though I dont recommend it. Marriot will not give you any problems. I stayed at the Marriot and the National also. Hell, you are paying over $250 per night. The least they can do.

I'm hoping that someone who is posting on this board could be of assistance. I placed a posting on the Russian Board [Other Places} on July 10, 2003 and so far haven't received any response. I will be spending several weeks in Vladikavkaz, North Ossetia-Alania and was interested in any information: Re: Street Scene, AMP's, Escort's, GFE, or any possabilities as internet searches bring up nothing. It's hard to believe that theres any large city or country where so little is happening.

As I had promised, here is my report. I could write a book on my trip, but I will try to keep it brief and as informational as I can.
Salon Katenka:
Only three hours from my arrival, I decided to tryout Katenka. I called ahead and was assisted by an English-speaking lady. (Read my previous post on how to get here) Katenka is only about 15 minutes from the center and is located across a nice apartment complex. First I was invited into a large room with 6 girls. All 7-8 in looks. The girls lined up and invitingly stared at meÉsome blowing kissed and others winking. Night in Moscow does not come until 11pm because it is light util then during the summer. So at midnight, I finally got my lazy ass up and hopped on a cab to find the famous lineups. Cab system is crazy. Stick your thumb out and 50% of people will stop and try to make a quick 30 rubles.

Russia is a tough place for anybody to make a living. The average person makes about 1/10 of somebody in USA.
I was in Moscow a few days last month but only tried NF as the recommendations seemed so good. I have travelled across EE (Estonia, Ukraine, Czech Rep, Hungary etc) but Night Flight must be one of the best places around. Never seen so many beautiful AND available girls in one place.

I just recently returned from a trip to Eastern Europe that included 5 days in Moscow and I thought I'd throw in my 2 kopecks worth.

While wandering through the galleries, I noticed quite a few very attractive young Russian girls wandering about. Some were in pairs, but most were unaccompanied. Always on the lookout for mongering possibilities, I couldn't help but wonder . . .
At one point, my wife and I had split up, and one of these young beauties sort of "attached" herself to me. When I moved, she moved, when I stopped, she stopped, when I sat down, she sat down, etc. She followed me around for about 10 minutes until my wife rejoined me and when it became obvious that there was no opportunity for her, she moved on.

So, if you're tired of the nightclubs, and the hotel girls and the lineups, and you have a free afternoon, you might want to check it out. The Tretyakov is on the south side of the Moscow river, less than a kilometer from Red Square. Any taxi driver should be able to take you there. It opens at 10:00 and I think the admission for foreign tourists is something like 200 rubles.
Aside from that, our trip was typical tourist stuff. It has been several years since my last visit to Moscow and I was very impressed with the way in which Capitalism is flourishing in the city. Retail stores, restaurants and nightclubs seem to be everywhere. With the Ruble at 30 to the U.S. Dollar, it makes for some good bargains. I was amused by the fact that they still don't have a regulated taxi system. Basically, anyone with a car can pick you up off the street. And as soon as one car stops, they all line up behind the first . If your negotiation with the first car fails, there will be several more to dicker with. My wife's friends, who are Muscovites, admonished us never to pay more than 100 Rubles for a taxi ride anywhere in the center of the city.
Now if the Russian government could just get over that silly requirement that everyone has to have an invitation before you can get your visa, and start issuing visas upon arrival, Moscow might actually become a world class capitol.

If you go to NF after ~1:30 am you have better chances to bargain them down to $150. Although best girls would be already selected there will be always enough talent. NF girls are professional and hardened compared to lineup girls. If you speak some Russian I recommend two lineup girls, otherwise stick to NF or Chesterfield. Why don't you try a lineup girl first night and the other night you can go to Chesterfield or NF... Have fun!

As for the hotel, what worked for me was to inform the front desk ahead that you are expecting a female guest. This also works in the morning as she leaves the hotel. Tell them that you are sending a guest down and that you are OK, and so not to bother her. She will also appreciate it.
If discretion is necessary, but you want to handpick a girl instead of using an out-call agency, try arriving to the hotel separately. Some NF girls will agree to visit your hotel room individually given you provide them with your info. Again, let the hotel stuff know that you are expecting a "friend". I did not stay in the Metropol, so I can not guarantee anything, but you may want to give it a try.
Another thing, buy your own condoms. Twice, my session was almost truncated by the shortage of it. The front desk can provide you with few but they are outrageously expensive this way.
I am in no position to offer advice having visited Moscow only once and for a short time. I know, but people in this board were so helpful that I want to return the favor by helping others with all I have.

I always end up paying $100, but the more average girls will go for less I'm sure, especially as the night wears on and the danger of going home without a "paycheck" increases. I picked this girl up on a Tuesday night at about 2am and the club was dead, so I am sure that affected the price, I imagine on a normal night the price would have been $150+. But bargaining is possible...as always.

I've been told by friends that NF is slower on the weekend, but that could mean that there are less men and more opportunities. Personally, if you look hard enough you can find some NF quality girls at the lineups, but they will probably not speak English. Plus, it'll may be a wasted effort. However, I feel like I almost always have a better time with a "fresh" lineup girl than one of the club girls. Of course, it is possible to find a "new" girl at the club, but unless you've been in town for a couple of weeks, you'll never know if she's new or not!

Very good question. When I travel to Moscow, I usually budget between $250-$300 per day. However, my apt is $75/nt and I don't hesitate to drop $150+ for the right girl. And if you are paying an NF girl $300 she should do it and pretty much whatever else you want her to do. I can't believe there have been some posts on this board where guys said they didn't even get kissing from an NF girl after paying $200+!

When the tochkas start seems to be a mystery, but I'd suggest going around 11-12. You can go almost as late as you want, but the pickings are better early in the night. Oh La La is the daddy of strip clubs. You can find details of it in exile.ru but its 500 Rubles to get in the door, you go through metal detector security and inside you can do almost anything. If you are used to western no touch strip clubs, this place will blow your mind.

Standard fee is 100 rubles a dance.
Girls varied, mostly pretty good, a couple of absolute stunners and only one or two rough faces. The girls are always propositioniing you for more than a dance. They ask about $100 + 500 rubles (for room hire) out the back for anywhere between 20 mins to an hour, but as this is the starting price, you will be able to bargain them down quite a bit I imagine. I havent taken advantage of the extras they do there so I am not sure how low you can get those prices, but I imagine on a quiet night you would have to be able to get sex with a for $50 or less.
Drinks are expensive, UNLESS you drink beer. Draft beer is same price as in Chesterfields. They hate giving you change. So ALWAYS go in there with as many 100 ruble notes as you want dances. Bearing in mind you also want beer, I would go in with at least 20 100 ruble notes.

Here is my first humble contribution to this great forum.
In my last visit to Moscow I've tried the lineups for the first time (I've used the out-calls and local apartments before), and I must say the LU are the best. You can really see the girl (the pictures on many sites are misleading) and it's the best value for money.
The ones I've visited are around the inner ring and on the Leninsky Prospect. Any taxi driver will know them and take you there. Just pick a driver that speaks some English and can translate.
Take your time and go thru 3-4 lineups before you make your pick - that's part of the fun. The girls are usually from Ukraine, Moldova and various Asian republics. I think the Ukraines are the most good looking ones and give the best service, but that's IMHO.
In some hotels they won't let the girl in, unless she has proper papers (she has to be registered in Moscow). You should verify that at the lineup before taking the girl. I had such a problem in the President hotel I was staying in (maybe because it's an ex-government hotel and the security is tighter). In any case there is nothing you can't resolve by an additional 500 RUR to the security guy.
So here is my catch on that trip - a lovely Ukrainian girl called Uliana. She was a real GFE and very athletic (ex ballerina). Unfortunately, the Russkis are somewhat racists. However, CF sports about every flavor there is without any apparent problems. Your biggest problem may in fact be with the militia. Be sure to register your passport and immigration card... Carry them at ALL times because you will be hassled if your papers aren't in order.

This has been covered before in the forum on a couple of occassions, but dress is particularly important in Russia. I'm not saying you have to wear a suit or something, but dressing with style is important. You can wear jeans to a lot of places but not everywhere.
The "laxing" of the dress code has its negative side though too... regrettably, jeans have replaced the miniskirt as the fashion-conscious dyevs wear of choice.
Still, designer goods remain very popular and are a babe magnet especially if you don't look like you are trying too hard but still smell of money. When dealing with pro girls, looking "too rich" may end up raising their prices. Trying to explain to a Russian girl that you can't afford $200 for an all-nighter but you can spend $100 on a Hilfiger belt is like telling her you are a eunuch.
There is no general rule though, as dress code varies wildly. Here is the breakdown from my experience (your experience may vary):
Night Flight: dress up in a suit or upscale fashionable clothes. Jeans can be worn, but you should still look fashionable. A pair of raggedy Wranglers will make you stand out like a sore thumb. I've worn jeans here without a problem, but made sure the guys working the door knew I was American.
Chesterfields/Doug and Marty's Boar House: pretty much anything goes here. A true expat hangout in both the good and bad sense of the word.
Cabana/Bells/Propaganda/Karma Bar/Voodoo Lounge/16 Tons/Rhythm and Blues cafe etc.: mid-level clubs with limited face control. You should dress up fashionably and nice. If jeans are to be worn, then fashionable "European" style is best. Overdressing is just as bad as underdressing. Never understood people who wear business suits to clubs...
Zeppelin/DJ Shambala/Garage etc: The upscale clubs are a ***** to get into. Face control can be brutal. So look rich and in style. Girls... if you meet a pro there... are very expensive. "Normal" girls are beautiful... and just as expensive in maintenance as the pros. Just being an American will not get you into these clubs, you have to look like you belong to that crowd. It can be a pretty pretentious scene but the women are really hot.
Safari Lounge/Divas/Dolls/Rasputin and other strip clubs: I've never seen any sort of face control or fashion code here. If you pay the entrance fee and are foreign, you'll get in. BTW: not every club has rooms to fuck in. A private dance is not a fuck but usually just an extended fully nude lapdance. A rip off in my opinion.
Dirty Dancing and other low level clubs offer some prime access to easily impressed "normal" Russian girls from the poorer and student classes, but you will also run into groups of young drunk guys and hitting on their girlfriends could lead to trouble. That is the same everywhere I suppose. No real fashion code here, but mostly youthful garb will be seen.
The fashion issue is an unending issue in Russia. Russian girls are second to none in their obsession with it, at least in my opinion. My recipe is to be fashionable, look like I have money but am not obsessed with it, and stay MANLY. Don't overdue the primping. I have heard women on many occassions complain about Italians etc. (nothing against Italians) being too obsessed with their hair looks etc. I often wear jeans and have never been turned back anywhere... except once at some club called Schokolad and once at Most. Assholes. Wasn't because I was wearing jeans though. My mojo just wasn't right...and I was alone and not on anybody's "guest list". Face control at upscale clubs can be very demeaning and humbling. Oh the glories of capitalism.
Race:
There is latent racism in a lot of girls and blatant in others. I think the more upscale places will be more accepting, at least I've seen black guys there. Karma Bar and CF have virtually no face control and their are a lot of darker-skinned guys there. Voodoo Lounge as well. Hispanic guys also generally have no serious problem at normal clubs. I'm white though, maybe other ethnic guys with Russia experience can give you better advice. I wouldn't recommend going to the boondocks out of the center though into a biker bar or something. But I wouldn't recommend doing that in South Carolina either.
BTW: Cabana is a "black" club.
If you are dark, athletic and good-looking, you might be the type of guy to satisfy some sexy blonde dyev's fantasy. Do dress nice and look classy and confident. It goes a long way.
From my experience with talking to "normal" girls, and this is just from my experience, a lot of Russian girls have expressed their distaste for Caucasian men (Georgia, Azerbaijan, Armenia etc.), Arabs in general and Turkish men. So make it known you are American and you'll rid yourself of any possible misidentification.
If you do get some rascist feedback, keep trying with other girls. The world is a long ways away from being rid of prejudice, but particularly better-educated Russian women will give you the same chance as a white guy. Some will even like your "exotic" looks.
CA Traveler's advice is right on, and it goes for foreigners of any color, keep your papers in order and on you.

Yes, I've picked her up from a lineup (for $100 a night) not far away from the CF, so it might be that you saw her there.
I myself speak pretty decent Russian, never the less I do think that for non-speakers of Russian, actually the lineups are a good alternative to the much more expensive NF/CF and the like, or the web sites, where you will find it difficult to cope without some basic Russian.
In the lineups you don't have to talk much. The "mamuchka" (local "Madame") will do the routine as soon as your arrive in your taxi - first she will "lineup" in front of the head lights the $70 girls, then the $100 and at last the $150 girls (about 7-10 girls in each round). You just have to make your choice (without even getting out of the car).
Of course, you should take a cab driver that speaks some English and can translate basic stuff. Don't be embarrassed in front of the cab driver, this type of entertainment is very common in Moscow and many locals practice it themselves.

Nevertheless, I guess the weather contributes a lot since it has been cold when I traveled there. "Face control", does this mean that at some places you won't be admitted because of your looks, dress atire, or simply age??.

"Face Control" is club security. Rich Russians, so called "elitny" Russians or New Russians, hate the poor. They absolutely despise them, because the poor remind them that Russia is still a backwater country, even as Moscow has a very polished and shiny surface.
In order to maintain the status of being an "in" club that attracts the so-called elite, a lot of clubs will not let everyone in. Obviously average Russians can't get in (they couldn't afford a drink in there anyway) but even well-to-do Russians or Western expats are sometimes rejected. The "in" elite crowd doesn't want their evening disco experience to be ruined by being forced to see someone wearing non name-brand clothes or -god forbid- being forced to dance next to some with neither very good looks nor a huge income. Getting rejected at the door is every girls nightmare, so many don't even try to get in.
Not every club has face control and face control varies wildly in its intensity, but getting into certain clubs on weekends can be difficult, and often it really isn't worth the effort. I've been to most of these clubs and they are very stylish and cool, but if you are just looking for women to have sex with, there are better and certainly more economical places. But don't be afraid of face control, most clubs except the few super elite ones will let expats in without a problem.
Metallitsa and Night Flight both are clubs where prostitutes work. Night Flight caters to expats and foreigner businessmen and Metallitsa mostly to rich Russians.
I was at Night Flight on Saturday and the women were good but not great. I was actually disappointed at the selection. Mostly in the 6-7 range, which can be had elsewhere for much less than the $200-500 the girls were asking for there. Maybe the hot ones are on holiday. I'll post more later on my week in Moscow.

The chicks are never as good in reality as in the pictures. The pictures are for marketing. You will get get a big mac from McDonalds that looks like the picture of a Big Mac in the window. In my experience, the chicks you get will never be dressed like they are in the pics, they will always be a few pounds heavier, and in general they are a few steps below their 'glamour' pictures would imply. Someone who looks a 7 in the pic will end up a 5 at your door.
The women in Night Flight and Metelitsa are at the upper end of the market. There are always a few stunners in there, but the quality has definately dropped in recent years. A recent visit had me talking to a single 8.5 plus who wanted $500 for the evening. I laughed in her face. But there were plenty of middle aged Japanese and Chinese businessmen in there who will pay her, for 3 minutes of pleasure. To her credit though she was a flexible woman, offering to do anal and BBBJ for a few dollars more - or a few hundred more.
A few years ago, every girl in there was a 9+. But it seems all the stunners must have got married to rich russians, leaving the Flight struggling to keep the place full of top quality women. Maybe thats why they are increasingly focussing on the restaurant as a business. The supply of top russian girls is drying up. Night Flight does not do the illegal, unregistered, ukrainian / moldovan crowd. They are mostly Moscow girls. And Moscow girls can make a lot of cash with a regular job these days. Many of the educated local girls (20 - 30 years old) I know in Moscow are all making between 2 and 3 thousand USD a month from bank jobs, or law firm jobs or whatever. A couple of them earn much much more than that. And bear in mind they pay 13% tax (proper jobs pay tax these days) so that $4,000 a month is equivalent after tax to a westerners after-tax USD 70k a year. You have to make boat loads of cash to impress a pretty Moscow girl with an education these days.
Bear in mind as well that Night Flight is very much an expat place. Metelitsa slants to a more Russian crowd.

It could be that it is late August and many of the girls are in France or Sochi! Or, it could have been that it was a city holiday weekend.

I know a couple of Night Flight girls (only 8 and 9). They told me that they dont go there in July/August or in weekends because it's wast of money. In August and in weekends there are no buisness people. Last time I was there its like 50 girls and 20 guys.

Was at NF on Saturday and like you and RogerMellie, was not as impressed as I have been in the past. There certainly were some chicks with great bodies there, but faces were average for the most part. And having a really great body in Moscow is no rarity, that can be had almost anywhere for $100.
Roger makes a good point, it is getting harder to recruit Moscow talent for those kind of jobs.
I even saw some girls I would have considered kind of ugly and wouldn't have fucked for $50, which is really scandalous low quality, considering it is nearly impossible to get a NF girl for less than $200. I was there about 1 am and the place was hopping. A couple of the girls who offered themselves for laughable prices of $300-500 later hooked up with some Chinese businessmen. They might have been fulfilling their fantasies, but they were getting really reamed pricewise. I don't blame the Chinese guys really... I can't imagine a Chinese businessman staying at the Metropol for $500 a night cruising tochkas in a beat up Volga to pick up a 19-year old Moldovian girl for $100... he isn't strung for cash and just wants a good time with a girl from a place he feels safe in.
The few girls that were of good quality at NF wanted at least $300 and at 1am on a busy night, they weren't in the bargaining mood. I imagine most of the girls, and all of the pretty ones, scored that night.
So did I, but not at NF. I went elsewhere.
Nonetheless, I don't want to speak too poorly about NF. I had a great meal and hanging out at the bar talking to the girls is good fun. It gets you in the action mood. I have had good success over the years with freebies scored from various free Russian dating sites. But getting responses is pretty tough. I talk to the girls I end up with about the various websites, and many of them, certainly the cute ones that have come my way, talk of having over 1000 replies to their adverts. Half from within Russia and half from overseas - mainly Turkey, Italy and the US.
To get them to bite, you have to be a lot more than an expat these days. You have to make it interesting for them. How you do that is up to you, but once you establish successful contact, it is easy enough to line up a date when you are next in Moscow and from there its totally down to your charm.
There is no doubt it is getting more difficult. In the old days the girls would go for you because you were a westerner, now you actually have to be interesting to them in the same way that you would have to be interesting in a bar in the west. Money isnt much of an issue for Moscow girls in 2003. Even 20 year olds take 3-4 overseas holidays a year. And literally every Moscow girl over 15 has a mobile phone.
To impress a girl by being an expat or on the basis of cash, you have to go a fair way out of Moscow.
To be honest you are doing better than the average guy if you even get responses at all from Moscow girls. Some of them even do it for fun, just to see what is out there.
I was at CF Saturday 23. Aug. and had a great time there. I went there about 2300 and the place was packed with bot normal and working girls. But after midnight a lot of working girls showed up. The Marriott Tverskaya runs about $200 if you book through the internet or some other discounter and is girl friendly. It is not directly in the center, but a short taxi or metro ride from the center. I've stayed at the Marriott for as little as $170 on weekends, but have a corporate rate. Nice hotel.
Other options are the Russian hotels, like Rossia, but you will likely have to make do with their selection of women which usually isn't on par with that which you can get elsewhere. These run about $100 a night for a simple room.
There are many Russian and semi-Russian hotels with rooms for about $120-150, but I haven't stayed at them and don't know their girl policy. Sorry.

Good job Jes007, sounds like you did well for yourself with your $100 student. And I'm glad you didn't pay $200 at CF, no matter what the quality of girl. Looking forward to any pics you feel like posting.
Just one thought:
CF is the cheap alternative to NF. Lets keep at that way.
Lets stick to these structures:
Night Flight (NF): $150 and up with average price between $200 and $300 depending on quality of girl and amount of possible business for the girl on any particular night plus of course the chemistry between you two.
Chesterfields/Doug and Marty's(CF): $70 and up with average price $100 depending on the same factors as above. Please, nobody pay over $150 at CF!!! In fact that is too high already. I have never paid more than $100 and never will there.
I am not trying to be cheap, I'll happily blow$60-70 on dinner and another $50 on drinks for a girl at some posh club somewhere, but lets keep the basis prices low! These girls will take whatever they can and if we are stupid, we'll outprice ourselves right out of this market.
Remember, at NF and CF the girls get to keep all the money, so $100 a night is a lot.
Say she scores on 3-4 nights a week x 4 = $1200-1600 a month tax free and she has virtually NO expenses. These girls don't live as poorly as you might suspect. They live ok. Check out their clothes. They do just fine for themselves in this business.

GG... pretty hostile comments for your first post! Personally I think the pictures of the Russian girls speak for themselves. However, YMMV and I would not be too fast to slam the info that has been posted here. If you go to Russia and don't do anything but read these posts, you will be a very happy man indeed!
boofer... All three Marriotts and the Renaissance are girl friendly. The M. Tverskaya and the Renaissance are your best bets for rooms under $200. However, there is a 25% tax AND they screw you with an additional approx. 10% currency conversion charge. Your best bet is to stay a night or two over the weekend at the hotel and then move to an apartment. If you have the apartment people pick you up and take you to the apt. you could actually go straight to the apartment. However, you should make sure that you are in the center and not out in the burbs someplace.
Also, IMHO, I would never stay at the Sheraton. It is expensive AND they make the girls register, which can be a problem if the girls papers are not in order!
RE: CF on the weekend... I personally try to stay away from CF on the weekend because it is so packed with people it is difficult to move around. Personally, I prefer it on Sunday and Monday nights because it is crowded but not so many drunk Russian men and it's easier to get around to talk to the girls. If you take a lineup as an alternative on F & S, it's a good idea to get there early because there are so many Russians lined up to get girls it was a traffic jam. Too late and all the good girls are gone!

swise... the Kempinski is a beautiful hotel. I do not know if it is girl friendly or not. It probably is OK since it's a German owned hotel. It is a little off the normal route since it's across the river from the Kremlin and NF/CF Of the three Marriott's, the Aurora/Royal is probably the nicest. It is in a very central location, BUT it isn't very close to a metro stop if that matters. The Grand is nice and is close to the Mayakovskaya metro stop and is right on Tverskaya close to several clubs and lineups. The Tverskaya has very nice rooms and is the least expensive of the three but it is a little farther from a metro stop and doesn't have an executive lounge(I think!) NF is an easy walk from the Grand or the Aurora, but a little far from the Tverskaya. CF is a 100 ruble car ride(not a regular taxi) or a 5-10 ruble metro ride from any of the hotels.
musketeer... Posting pictures of working girls is a personal decision. Obviously, some people have been burned by a girl if and when it gets back to them that their picture is posted. Personally, I do not post pictures of non-working girls and I do not take clandestine pictures without the girl's specific agreement. Unfortunately, some of the people that see the pictures do not have the sense to keep quiet about seeing a girl's picture and it can complicate an adventure with a working girl.
OTOH, I think pictures are very important for someone thinking about traveling to a new country... especially one like Russia that can be more of a hassle, than say Thailand or Brazil, to visit due to the visa requirements. I probably would never have visited Russia in the first place if it wasn't for some of the pictures of Russian working girls that were posted on other sites.

CA_T is right on with his reviews of those hotels, here are a couple of notes from my end:
Baltshug Kempinski: has a disco in the same building, the Cabana. This club plays mostly "black" music like hip hop etc. if that's your thing and has working girls there that range from $100 upwards. One of the hottest chicks I've ever had I trawled out of there for $100. This isn't reason alone to go there as there are lots of other places to pick up working girls and the one you get or whats available on any particular night is a matter of luck and the market, but I liked it.
Marriotts: if price is a concern, the Marriott Tverskaya is as good as the others with the disadvantage that it is not within walking distance of the center, unless you like walking. It is a good 35 minute walk to Red Square from the Marriott Tverskaya. If you really want to be center, than either of the other two are fine, the flagship Aurora being closer to the luxury shopping areas. Probably the Marriott Grand is the best compromise between price and location.
Distance in Moscow: is best measured by taxi drive time. One of the best things about Moscow is riding by taxi at night, the drive over the bridges past the Kremlin for example are breathtaking. So don't let distance disturb you to much. The only major hotels I don't recommend is anything out by Sheremetyevo (30 minutes out of town) or the Renaissance, which is also quite far from everything.

To your questions:
1) What shouldn't be missed... besides the tourist stuff like Red Square and riding the Moscow Metro, which are must sees, the mongerer should try Night Flight, Chesterfields (Doug and Martys) and the tochkas (lineups). Three different scenes, all with quality women to be found at prices ranging from $70-300+. And check out one of the main strip clubs like Safari Lodge, Rasputin etc. to get up close and personal to some amazing women...
2) Best tip regarding safety...normal big city smarts and keep your documents in order, i.e. passport and visa registration. Moscow is relatively safe and experienced travellers should have few problems.
3) Anything I'd like to get an answer to... post your experiences! I've done a lot of mongering there, but certainly don't claim to know everything. Other people's experiences are a big value to us all.
4) Mamachka gets paid. Dollars or rubles or, as during my last trip when I realized I was short on dollars, a mix of the two. Dollars is easiest since the prices are grouped as $70, $100 and $150 for tochka girls. The tochka girl gets a tip, called "taxi fare" or present at the end of the night. 300 rubles ($10) is standard, but what you tip is up to you. I usually tip between 300 and 500 rubles depending on service, chemistry, mood etc.
I have read in several excellent postings here the system with line ups/tochkas in and around Moscow. And the thorough information of CF/Doug and Marty's Boar House. Invaluable information for a sex hungry visitor, thanks.
But here's my problem: my natural habits and the activities and schedule in the tourist group with which I will be visiting Moscow do not allow me to stay as late as seems to be required to enjoy the above mentioned paid-sex possibilities. I can not go hunting after midnight, I cannot stay up till the wee hours. I shall have my own free time in the day only, lets say from 14.00. till 20.00.
What has Moscow for me to offer here ? Me: a man who likes nice young ladies and is ready to pay the current price.
The line up girls: do they all rest in the day ? Could some mamochka send a girl to my hotel if I called her ? I could even take a taxi and fetch the girl if needed. Does anyone have any telephone numbers ? I can manage Russian enough to do all such talking. On my last trip I visited a small brothel in a house of blocks. Your problem is a common one. Moscow really comes alive after dark I'm afraid. The tochkas don't "open" until about 8 or 9 in the evening, according to the taxi drivers I've asked. I think for afternoon and early evening sex you have the following options:
1) salons
A good place to get addresses is www.dosug.nu. This site is also full of on call girls who also work afternoons.
2) internet on call girls
The www.dosug.nu site lists dozens of these, with pictures of the actual girls (although the dyevs are made up for the pictures, actual condition may vary). The site has been recommended several times in this forum.
Another site is http://www.love.mail.ru/category/1500.html where the girls are likely cheaper and where quality will vary wildly. Selection is large though. Choose your city on the left hand side of the webpage and dozens of girls will pop up.
You'll need very basic Russian to maneuver through these, but there is almost always a mobile number there.
3) note phone numbers of girls you've had before.
Although part of the charm of p4p girls is always getting something new, there are some advantages to using the same girl more than once. She'll likely do more, the GFE will be more "realistic" and you may get discounts. I've even gotten freebies this way, even though "free" is always associated with some sort of compensation such as dinner, gifts etc. But it feels free anyway...:)
4) Maybe try the personal ads in the Moscow Times that advertise "escort any time" etc. These girls have gotten mixed reviews in this forum, but most speak English and are available in the afternoons.
This is exactly the main problem with Moscow and all the other places except a very very few in the world!
You just waste so much time and energy just to reach the surface if you can ever manage over the awful traffic jam! I mean I wonder when the Russians will learn how to drive fast and without bumping into each other!??!
In the end you'll be ripped off and survive only on the surface.If you have a special interes only in Russians,you can find plenty of them and the most beautiful ones in Northern Cyprus(Lefkose and Girne) and in Istanbul for a max. of $100 per night without having to show any effort in the snow and heavy cold^#

doc... very good advice on both postings. I'd add www.omen.ru for another internet option. I've had very good success on one or two of the MT ads. Some will even bring a book to you so allow you to pick a girl before hand.
Plus, another daytime option is a banya or sauna. They'll typically bring girls in for you and it can be fun. Unfortunately I don't have any recommendations.
Also, I can't believe you pay so much for "taxi" money! I guess I'm just too cheap and I only give them a 100 rubles since they can go anyplace in Moscow for "sto" rubles.
One last safety tip... never go to a girl's apartment with her and never leave your drink unattended!

Moscow in winter is great... a totally different city than the one in summer. Both seasons are very interesting and have their charms. And I prefer Russian women in their own country. I wouldn't fly to Brazil to fuck a Thai girl so I don't want to fly to Turkey or Cyprus for Russian girls... just my preference. :) The very best sex I've had in Russia is with girlfriends. If you have the time to explore this market in Russia, it is the best one. Speaking of tips, the 300-500 rubles I pay as taxi fare to the girls is obviously meant as a tip as you are certainly right, 100 rubles will get you almost anywhere within the city, unless you are heading out to the outskirts. I've tipped as low as 100 rubles for average service and as high as 500. 300 is standard though, I'll usually only tip 500 if I don't have any smaller bills left and don't want to seem cheap... :)

Here is my first report being filed from an internet cafe in Moscow.
Well I am trying to try all the various options you guys have kindly posted info on to date. Here are my experiences and thoughts to date.
Tocka.
With some intrepidation as a non russian speaker I flagged a taxi at about 0100 on a Tuesday near Lubyanka metro. Although his English was limited, he had more than I had russian and we got by. He spent about 3 mins chattiong to another taxi with much arm waving and I guessed they were dicussing the various tochkas open for business and how to find them. Also how to get back to the private apartment I am renting.
We then set off and surpise to me we stoped about 200 yards up the hill,(teatralinksy prospect i think), he said with hand signals demonstrating various female proportions what I understood to be "large/small breasts, tall/short?, 70/100/150$" etc. Then he got out and spoke with the mamachka. No 70$ girls but a $100 came over from the rear of a Lada, just one girl, but i guess it was late. Well she was fine for me and I paid $100 and off we went.
Over the next junctions and a police car puled out and waved us in "how suspicious" I thought. Well they checked my ID and were quite happy with my passport copy and letter from my visa registration agent. But, "Sir, Misssster, ahemm, biiig biiig problem, girl mosocw registration not, girl com to police station" I can't say she looked worried, she was chatting with the cabbie and smoking while the cops talked to me. I said to the Police, "is there another way?" They talked to each other, I took the taxi driver aside and said with grin "dollaru?". The police came over and said "ok you must pay fine now or girl goes station" I said "ok' To my amusement as i pulled out my dollars he almost panicked and said "please, please take seat in car" Ha ha. Corruption fine if not seen I thought. Well $20 and 300rbls changed hands and they were happy and i was pleased i still had a girl.

Anyway to cut a very long post. I ended up with Alya, 24, tall 6ft, slim, medium breasts and seemed nice. Settled at $200 and she came back to the flat (taxi was $20, is this a tourist rip off or ok at 0100+)
We chatted and then sex. It was ok but a bit too proffesional if you understand. Covered BJ etc. After i came she went to shower and so did I, then she dressed said had to go. Also suddenly her excellent english became "im sorry not understand, speak only russian" She had only stayed about 2 hours max. I showed surprise but to be honest didnt care really, she had changed and the atmosphere was dead. She even bulked at my tip wanting more, she didnt get it. i gave her 100rubles.
I stuck my head in Doug and Martys, but didnt stay, will go back now i found it.

As I'm reading a similar local forum site "http://sextalk.ru/postlist.php?Cat=&Board=cls_mos_str", I can tell you that the usual bribe for bailing the girl out is around 500 RUR, so I think you've paid a reasonable price.
Also, the locals say some tochkas cooperate with the police and let the near patrol know as soon as you leave with the girl. There are some ways to work-around that - ask the girl to lay down on the back seat, so she wouldn't be seen from outside, or set with te driver to meet few junctions away and take the girl there by foot.
Anyway I still think the tochkas are the best way to pick up girls of the same quality as in any of the other places (CF, call-out) for a very reasonable price even with the bribe included.

DT... where to begin. First of all, the lineup that the driver took you to is one of the worst in Moscow. I know you were in his hands, but as an example, I went to one on the garden ring on Thursday night and there must have been 80 girls there in all catagories. True it was 2300, but I've been to the lineup that you went to twice and both times they had about 6-10 girls max.
I don't know how long you'll be in Moscow, but if you want to email me with your number, I'll call you and give you the exact locations of two good lineups that you can walk to from CF. I'll check to see if I have your email and if so, I'll give you my number so you can call me.
BTW, CF is so packed on F & S that it's difficult to work. I suggest hitting it on Sunday to Thursday for best results. Monday is usually very good there.
As you discovered, NF is a nice place to look, but for the best GFE, the lineups are VERY hard to beat. Remember at CF/NF you are renting the girls by the hour and they are keeping a close watch on the time... at the lineup you basically own her until morning. 90+% of the LU girls will provide BBBJ vs. about 10-20% of the club girls.

Dick, I really enjoyed reading about your experiences. The militia stopped me getting in a taxi at CF. I was getting ready to take a young lady back to the hotel. If I recall correctly I spent 300 rubles which is less than $10. If you paid 300 Rubles AND $20 I think you could have negotiated a lower rate. One thing I learned at this forum is not to be intimidated by the police. They only want to pick up a few extra bucks. 200-600 rubles seemed to be the going rate for a bribe when I did my research.
I'm glad you have the balls, as a non-Russian speaker, to go to a tochka. I didn't visit a tochka and I deeply regret it. I enjoyed CF a great deal but didn't like the atmosphere or prices at NF. Its definitely worth a visit though.
I'm planning on going back to Russia (St. Pete this time) in May. I can't wait. But for now I'm making my first trip to Argentina in a few weeks.

Tochkas: One thing to remember, even though you sounded like you got a good girl at your tochka, is that if you don't find what you want, go to another tochka. The taxi drivers are used to this. If you see nothing after 3 or 4 tochkas however you should probably take what you can get or cut your losses and go home lonely as this is a sign that the city's sex supply for the night is drying up. Also late at night you may find the pickings exceedingly slim.
The tochkas seem to have gotten really popular lately in this forum, quite frankly with me too.
Bribes: Usually 300 will be well enough, but if they insist then 500. You should never have to pay more than that, that is already a pretty high bribe for a relatively petty issue.
Chesterfield's vs. Night Flight: I think the price-performance ratio in CF is better, but NF remains an absolute must see for all newbies. Though the quality of women there seems to have slipped in terms of faces there, most bodies are still top notch and it can be somewhat overwhelming on good nights. NF girls go for $200+ and it seems to me judging from the forum that the girls are very professional. CF girls are also professional, but at least you are only paying $100 and should never pay more really. My luck at CF with GFE and overall performance has been mixed, but I never felt too bad if things didn't go perfectly as $100 is a fair price for an all-nighter. 90% of the time performance has been at least satisfactory though, I can't recall any "disasters". BTW: ALL NF and CF girls should stay over night for there respective $100 and $200+ prices, that is if you want them too. I usually like girls to stay but have also had one or two that I just wanted to kick out.
I also like the fact that CF is better lit than NF and you can get a better look at the girls, limiting the surprise effect when you get her in the light. The girls don't actively approach customers at CF whereas they do in NF. For shy guys, NF might be more fun. At CF you usually will have to approach the girls. The atmosphere at CF is usually livelier though in my opinion, although the club is dirtier than the upscale NF.
Tochka girls will always stay overnight and in my opinion (seconding Ca_T) they do offer the better GFE experience and for me the GFE is a very important factor in most but not all encounters.
Did you pay the girls $50 for their "chat time" at NF? I've never heard of this scam there before. Most girls will try to establish very early if you are going to be a prospective buyer or if you are just there on safari as I most often am.
$20 is way too much for a taxi. Outside clubs the prices do go up, but for destinations in the center never pay this much.

Immediatly after, the cop asked me "you must pay fine now ok?"

A funny happenned today in the Lenin mausaleum queue re police bribes. There was a commotion near the front and it appeared two police were checking a Japanese womans papers. One had her passport in hand another started dragging her screaming to the car.

I generally do not like calling girls from "agencies" as they tend to be quite expensive. However a good one is www.nightcat.ru. The telephone number is on the website. They don't have all the pictures of the girls working there so ask the "despatcher" and she will give you more details. Prices are $70 for 2 hours, $100 for 3 and $150 for the night (6 hours). They will send you 2 girls and you can pick which one you like better. If you don't like any of them you can send them back - no charge and no problem at all. They even call you back later to see if they can send you some more girls to look at.
Chesterfields in my humble opinion is going down - the number of good looking babes are decreasing and most of them are trying to charge $150 for the night or want $100 for 2-3 hours. Standard pricing for me in CF is $100 for the whole night.
Otherwise the Tochkas are probably the best value for money - $100 for the whole night and some realy fresh talent.
Another good option is to get to get 2 or 3 of your friends and then you each pick up a working girl and bring them back to your apartment (assuming you have 2-3 bedrooms). In that way you can swap the babes after 2-3 hours. After 5-6 hours you have done 3 chicks but only paid for 1. Most of the chicks don't have a problem with this.

Please explain why car rental in Moscow is almost never broached on the board. Why is it taboo? Seems to me if a monger is comfy with Cyrillic, a world class driver and interested in tochkis, car rental could be rewarding. Or am I completely mistaken? I’ve checked out rental rates for Ladas and Skodas, compared with taxi rates and lingo barriers, they sound inviting. Especially if two mongers hook up, with the aggressive driver on the wheel, and his partner in crime navigating to the better tochkis.
I mean are traffic police adamantly bent on pulling over cars with rental plates for imaginary violations like I heard, what’s your take on this? Perhaps what’s more worrisome to me than reckless Russian drivers, or diligent traffic cops, are unmarked, and double named streets that’ll put a damper on one’s adventurous prowess every time. Would you give your expert opinion and advise on the subject?
Oh, one last thing, please say that tockis are here to stay, for they sound like the best alternative and value for the diengui. Wouldn’t want some over zealous, conservative politician to clean them out before some of us can get there and partake.

Fenster re: car rental. There is so much red tape in Russia I don't think I'd rent a car there. What if you were in an accident? Dealing with the police, rental agency, insurance company, and other car's driver would be difficult at best. Taxis are pretty costly but divided by two makes them even more practical.

The price structure your girl Natalya told you is accurate. It has been posted here on this forum before several months back as well and also corresponds with what the girls have told me.

You've got an interesting idea, but I really don't see the point of renting a car in Moscow if you are on a short term stay. I've driven everywhere from Rome to Paris and am not afraid of traffic per se, but I've seen so many accidents in Moscow that I personally really wouldn't want to take the risk. You can be the best driver in the world and still some New Russian in his new BMW X5 will plow right into you because you should've been smart enough to recognize he ALWAYS has the right of way, or you could be the victim of some aging Volga Duma staff car turned taxi with virtually no brakes... either way, even a fender bender is a nightmare for you and your holiday is on hold until the paperwork is sorted out... besides, taxis are really cheap unless you are driving all over the place all day long... and in that case maybe you should just hire a driver. The taxi drivers are probably much better at finding the tochki than you would be anyway. And then there is always of course the traffic police... I understand the desire of having true mobility, but I personally don't think it is worth the potential hassle if you are just on a short stay. Just my two bits on that topic.
Taxi fare: remember, you shouldn't be paying more than 50 for short trips and 100 rubles for medium size trips....and that at the very most. Outside of discos and especially expat hangouts the drivers will ask for more. 30m down the street you are back to normal Russian prices. Bargain hard, you will almost always win.
As for tochki, I expect they'll be around for awhile. I hope so. I do dread the day when Moscow becomes a "normal" city. Hope it never comes.
What do you need a car for in Moscow, when you can't get anywhere day or night? It doesn't make much difference whether you mingle with the traffic jam in a car or a taxi, if you ever manage to find one. I would recommend Arbat Place all the time, there there's no problem at all, you're on your own for wandering around!

Just returned from an 11-night visit to Moscow... Since I had a busy schedule, I only visited the lineups on a few occasions. :(
However, one Thursday night at my favorite lineup near CF, I counted 50 girls in the $100 category and 20 in the $150... So, there was no question that the girls were available.
Due to my schedule I wound up calling in girls from the service. Interesting situation here... The going price was $200, but the girls were outstanding and very service oriented. Unfortunately, the girls would not allow pictures.
I also noticed that CF was really going strong during the week. Friday and Saturday were so busy, IMHO it isn't even worth going.
The new Hard Rock Cafe on the Old Arbat opened while I was there, but it is yet to be seen if they allow the working girls in. The food is good though and the hamburgers are the best in Moscow!

That's a lot of girls at that lineup. Following your advice I walked up to both those tochkas near Chesterfields.
For future visitors the nearest of the two is literally just down a side street and in amongst a back lane / buildings. Must have been around 25+ 100$ girls when I was there after midnight on a Monday. It was actually a bit dark to see until a car pulled in !
The second is about 5 mins walk from the beacon girl down a long curving road across a junction and into a largish yard. (almost behind the railway station) There was a second car (plus CB) parked near the yard entrance - easy to see where you are going. Regarding an earlier post about prices and maybe Chesterfields going up. I suggest we remain discrete about our other hunting grounds when with any one girl. Afterall a Chesterfields girl who hasnt heard of NF might decide to check it out, get talking and the word spreads, the prices rise.
Likewise maybe tochka girls will become interested in Chesterfields and flood the market with lower quality girls at 100$ pushing the best ones upwards to $200.

I have a few questions for you all. I finally got my first trip to Moscow set in less than two weeks from now. However, I will be staying downtown in the Marriott Aurora. I am planning to hit all these places that you all recommended, starting with NF. I was wondering if you all could provide me with some directions to follow from the hotel. I have been learning Russian but I know that I still won't be able to conversate with the russians. Do peple at the hotel know directions to these places?
On my 5 days there, I plan to hit NF, Tochka, Safari Lodge. Nevertheless, I don't know if I should ask people at the hotel where the damn titty bars and places to pick up girls are. I have been in russia for a few months now and a long detailed report is going to follow soon.
For now, I am planning to go to Volgograd for a few days starting October 7. I am tired of hearing about how good the dveys are out there in Volgograd from all the taxi drivers in Moscow.
One quick tip about picking up amateurs in Moscow/St. Pete's:
Just walk up to them and start talking in rapid fire English-don't ask "Do you speak English"- just start talking-asking directions/etc. If they smile, you'll get their number in the next two minutes. Also, its better to approach girls who are walking in groups of two or three. Safety is a big issue for girls in this country and they feel much safer if they are in a group.

I saw others city on the Volga. You will probably find the general environment not so appealing, with a lot of women not so cute and inspiring. BUT there are occasionally some angels, really stunning girls. The kind of girl you could see in clubs few years ago in Moscow but you can only dream about now in stolichnaya.

A very clever recipe, ingenious really, as the place packs them in nearly every night in a mildly civilized drinking and groping frenzy. Quite honestly, it really isn't my scene per se, as I have long since wandered into the enticing world of the Russian girlfriend and Russian-speaking establishments. The site is good but only in Russian. There are dozens and dozens excellent sites in Russia and some of them (salons mostly) with English variants. It is much better and cheaper then to pay $200 in CF and other clubs ot dangerous "tochki" One can find girls as cheap as $35 and most are for $50 -70. At summer time I posted some English speaking salons addresses.

Winter in Russia is very interesting if you haven't experienced it before, Moscow feels like another city. Equally interesting as the summer version but physically uncomfortable. Still it is pretty much business as usual.
The tochki run year round, but there is the disadvantage that the tochki girls are all bundled up and it is hard to really see what they look like. If you are unsure of their body, make them open their overcoat so you can look. They'll do it and are used to it.
CF and NF run normal business.
I haven't spent the actual Russian Christmas holidays in Moscow, maybe someone else can provide more info on this.
Whether or not it is a good idea or not is another question... I wouldn't necessarily choose it as a tourist destination in December...

doc and SM... First of all, I'd like to agree in part with doc because Moscow is in fact a much different city in the winter than the other seasons. However, if you dress warmly it can be great because the same talent is available as in the other months you just can't watch the girls walk by in skimpy outfits while you sit in a sidewalk cafe.
When you get to the clubs, the girls drop their coats and they usually are still dressed to the nines with skimpy outfits. Secondly, as doc said, at the lineups you can and should ask them to open their coats. You can even ask to cop a feel with no problem because they want you to be happy. Plus, they really don't want to leave because it is cold out there, so you are probably set up for as long as you'd like.

I've been to Moscow in almost every month and I can tell you that every month is good, but the worst time IMHO is April/early May when everything starts to melt and is sloppy.
To prove my point, I'll be in Moscow at least two weeks for every month for the next year and then I'll be spending 80% of my time there!

Moscow is a bit easier than Chicago or London, but not that much easier. There is a lot more money in Moscow than most westerners seem to understand. So being a westerner doesnt give them anything that a cute girl cant get easily in Moscow anyway. In fact, not only are plenty of young Russian guys loaded with cash, but unlike westerners, they dont hold back splashing it around.
Anywhere else other than Moscow or St Pete is a lot easier. Get 3 hours out of Moscow and you suddenly begin turning into a white god. If you are 10 hours or more train ride out of Moscow, you are THE white god in town and your foreign-ness is a total chick magnet.
Like the Doc, I spend a lot of my time in Moscow with girls I have previously bent over after meeting in bars. Despite the fact that they have boyfriends and sometimes husbands, they do like to get a good shafting and happily come and visit when you are around. Its not that difficult to end up in a position where you are juggling too many evening "commitments" each time you are in town.
Just make sure you:

Besides the p4p market which is well-documented here thanks to all the guys who post, there is of course the so-called "freebie" market which is equally rewarding and interesting. I love this about Moscow...and love the p4p option when I either don't have time or am not willing to make the effort in pursuing a girl in the "traditional" way...
If you've got time and the inclination there are a number of approaches to getting freebie girls, ranging from the dating sites and forums to the normal methods you'd use in any other place.
I've tried all sorts of approaches and find Moscow to be easier than other places in Europe or America, although I definitely agree with RM that it isn't automatic and Moscow in particular is getting more difficult, especially the top quality dyevs have really high expectations from a guy.... the days where just being a westerner in Moscow ensured you of model quality babes are long over... at least they haven't been falling into my lap. Like RM, I think for this you'll have to go to other cities, or other Eastern Block countries. Model level girls in Moscow will go to the top clubs and one look at the parking lot will tell you what kind of guys are in there. I've been in those places and it is impressive, but for me it wasn't worth the effort involved. Or maybe I am too lazy.
Nonetheless, the overall quality of women in Moscow is really high and the city itself is huge, with the vast quantities of girls in the 6-8 category (on the Russian scale) being quite accessible and worth the effort. Scoring on the first or second date is quite common. Actually my experiences in Russia have "trained" me to be a little bit more forward. Often I'll not have more than one evening to finish the job and so I'll make my approach fairly quickly. Most girls will give in and if you did it right, they'll be flat on their back wondering what happened before they have a chance to object. Once into it, they'll go all out to please you. Still, some girls have an insane "2nd date rule", but by the 2nd date you will most likely score... and if you don't score by the second date you might be in for a long campaign, which I suggest you call off unless you really think she is worth the effort. Why waste evenings on a girl who you'll likely dump at some point after screwing her a couple of times anyway when you can find another more willing candidate on every streetcorner?
Competition is "stiff" (no pun intended) for the 9-10 quality girls so you'll have to bring some good game to score there (if you've got that kind of game, more power to you) but in the 6-8 category you'll have remarkably little competition. There just aren't enough decent Russian guys to fill the demand, any Russian girl will tell you this. Nothing against Russian guys... the good-looking ones with a little money must be spoiled rotten.
For me at 33 years old one of the biggest advantages of Moscow and the Eastern Block in general is that girls in the 18-22 range really have no problem with dating guys on the other side of 30.
Another plus is that Russian women, contrary to what some guys have said, are very passionate, emotional and sexually skilled. Moreover, you can do pretty much whatever you want with them, they are very open to experimentation.
RM bings up a good point about trust and emotions. If you are just in it for the fun, be careful not to get too emotionally involved. This isn't always easy, as like girls all around the world, Russian girls fall in love too. And this can be dangerous, as Russian women are also extremely skilled at manipulating men and some will definitely be in it for the "big score", so if you are not careful, getting out of the relationship will be a lot more difficult than getting in was... beware their wrath if you [CodeWord140] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord140) them off, they are as emotional as Italian women. One ex-girlfriend even threw away her bed after we broke up. Another one threatened to use her dad's supposed FSB connections to put me in a world of hurt. As for trust, there are of course all kinds of girls. The P4P girls all have their own agenda, so trusting them is a risk. Some freebie girls will also have alterior motives in being with you, but if you know this and play the game in the end you'll get laid, they'll have a good time and it is always your choice whether you want to see them again or not. I know some guys who use an alias, and if you are really just in it for the score, not letting them know too much about you might be the way to go. More often than not though, if you are picking up freebie girls in the end it'll be you breaking their trust and not the other way around. That's just the way it goes.

Your point on the 25-31 year olds is dead on. If a girl is hitting on you in a bar, chances are she's in that category, has a decent job but is unsatisfied with going home to an empty apartment and watching videos. Easy pickings and grateful. These girls are also especially keen on Western guys, having experienced communism first hand and gone through the Glasnost/perestroika years when everything from the West was better. Younger girls have a more balanced view of things. And the 25-31 category are relatively low maintenance. I work as a tourism guide in a Mediterranean country where many, many young russian tourists come for a week or two. I keep meeting young, beatuiful model-type girls form a city called Akaterinasburg, or something like that, in, I think, the Urals area of Russia? I've started summer holiday love affairs with a couple and have even gotten the idea to head there for a month or two, ostensibly to learn to speak Russian. 6-8 weeks in the dead of winter in Yekatarinburg (or Ekaterinburg) or Omsk will definitely be a culture shock, but you will be a rarity and make an impression on the girls. I think the fall would be the best, it isn't that cold and the girls are there.
August is a bad month to visit Russia, a lot of girls or on holiday at resorts like the one you work at... Med Sea and Turkish beaches are a great place to meet Russian girls, as is Cyprus. Cyprus and Turkey are 2 of the few places Russian girls don't need a visa to visit.
Both cities are big and have universities, and Omsk has a teacher's university... so there will be a good deal of young women available.
As far as where to go for 8 weeks in winter, I would suggest Moscow or St.Pete if budget allows. There are plenty of girls there if you have the time to look and there is defintely more to do then in Ekaterinburg or Omsk, Novosibirsk, Samara or whereever.
If the appeal of top quality women with possible white god factor + language study is your driving motivation (which I very well understand) then either Yekatarinburg or Omsk will do, as will any other provincial university town, but be prepared for a cold and gray winter...

oetziboy I never made it to that lineup but the directions were posted here a few months ago. From inside the hotel walk out the main entrance and turn right. Cross Tverskaya and walk down to the bottom of the hill. Apparently the lineup is at the bottom of the hill. I might add that on Tverskaya every night I saw a girl directing traffic to the lineup. She is located on Tverskaya right at the Grand. You'll see her talking to stopped cars and there will be a guy parked in a car at an angle on the sidewalk right next to where she stands. oboy... The entrance to the Grand is on the same street as the lineup, except across Tverskaya. You can't cross Tverskaya though so you will have to either walk up Tverskaya to Metro Mayakovska and cross the street or walk down Tverskaya towards Red Sq and cross in an underpass. When you turn down the street towards the tochka you'll see a cafe (Adriatic, I think) and a little jog in the street you can't miss the tochka. BTW, if there is no beacon girl there is no tochka. Sometimes the militia closes them down for some unknown reason.
There is a second tochka within walking distance from the Grand. Go to the entrance for Metro Mayakovskaya, turn right (you'll see the American Diner or some American cafe across the street) and walk about 500 meters or so and watch for the beacon girl and then turn right and walk down the alley.

rm... nice pics. You know I think that I take the easy way out by focusing on P4P. I was in Ekaterinburg once, in October, many years ago. I had gone to visit my pen-pal girlfriend, there was no internet then (so you know I've been doing this for a long time).
Ekaterinburg in October is about as cold as most of the rest of the world in January. I think that a winter in Ekaterinburg will re-define the word COLD for you.

I was in Moscow this summer and was amazed at the trasformation. I doubt if Ekaterinburg has changed as much.
There is no El Dorado of Russian pussy. Russia is full of beautiful women, as you have discovered. Moscow or St. Petersburg will serve as well as Ekaterinburg. I would choose St. Petersburg, myself, simply because it is such a beautiful city, and it's proximity to the Baltic tends to moderate the temperature, even in winter.
I would take the "White-God" concept with a few grains of salt. You will definately stand out, no question about that. You will also find it very difficult to communicate without some fluency in Russian. Russian girls in the provinces are beautiful, yes, but their beauty is matched only by their pride. While they may be curious, they will not necessarily fall at your feet just because you are a foreigner and they might be more insulted by your money than impressed. Unless, of course, they've already made the decision to live as prostitutes, in which case, you may as well be in Moscow.
Ironically, laying on a Mediterranean beach, with the warm waters lapping at her feet, away from the constrictions of home and family, a Russian woman may be even more inclined to sexual adventures than she would back home.

ogman... balabon is exactly right. If you speak Russian the pearly gates of cheap sex will open for you. If you log on to many many sites you'll find girls for $35/hour. Plus, there are at least a hundred banyas in Moscow that will call in girls for you, but it's not really in your price range. There are a few streetwalkers near the McDonalds at Pushkin Square but they are not necessarily cheap and they are definitely not the pick of the litter.

bbbj/the knight... the Grand is close to a couple of tochkas. The one across from Tverskaya is more expensive than most although I did get my NF quality girl from there but it was pricy. From the Mayakovsakaya metro near the Grand on the Garden Ring towards (both directions) metro Kurskaya & CF you'll see many beacon girls. The driver will ask them where the girls are. Well, I just back from my first trip to Moscow and I have to say that it is off the hook!!!. I appreciate the information I received from some of you members in this forum. Your comments were indeed very accurate. However, I did almost get robbed near Red Square by two assholes. If you are ever alone and go to Red Square, be VERY careful. I got away due my aggressiveness and the militia being near. I was very intimidated in going into the underground street crossings.
I have to say that I was culture shocked the whole time I was there. I have never gotten so much from so many people in one country ever before in my life. I felt that it was curiosity more than anything. I guess it was probably because I don't look russian and I am a little dark. Anyways, I checked in at the Marriott Grand and it was very nice and luxurious. First thing I notice was the hot looking girls working all over the place, specially in the stores. I most have flirted with every girl in there and they loved my attention. I do dress nice all the time and am a law student so I guess I have class.
Now to the best part of Moscow, the places to pick up women. I tried NF, Tochka, and went to the famous Safari Lodge.

bbbj... as far as I know this is the only tochka on Tverskaya between Metro Belarusski and Red Square. There is sometimes a line up right at Red Sq but the two times I've been there the girls were all dogs. The one across from the Grand is it... Before when I would stay in one of the Marriotts in Moscow I would use their airport pickup service at $65 per trip.
Seems like they've increased their price to $100 per trip! That's a pretty steep increase if you ask me.
What will it cost me to take a taxi from the Sheremetyevo airport back to the Grand Marriott? Is this safe? ...I've never taken a taxi in Moscow before.
Are there perhaps any airport shuttles going back to Moscow that will stop by the major hotels? Or is there anything else...than wont cost me a 100$ each way?

In June I paid US$90 to get to Marriott Grand. I e-mailed the hotel to get transportation info. I then faxed my flight info to the hotel. To return to the airport to go home I used one of the rip off taxis that hang out at the Grand. I made arrangements directly with the taxi driver the day before I left. I paid $35 or $40 as I recall. If your comfortable making your own arrangements, babalon38's advice is no doubt excellent. If not, pay the $90-100 and get there safely. The economic situation in Moscow is even more scary than usual with the arrest of Russia's richest man.
Hell - the taxi costs are madness! Any one arriving on 13th November want to share! If any reader wants to hook up for a beer and quick tour on 13th or 14th Nov. let me know.

The place is a dive. 5 years ago when under totally different ownership, it was the most legendary bar in the world. Now it is a pit. I was last there in May, and if I recall it was 150 rubles to get in. Corona beer was about 100 rubles each and it was 70% men, mostly russian. There were cheap tacky strip tease acts that took place at the bar, and the bar girl, who was wearing a aerobics style bikini, seemed open to ideas to earn her tips. You just french kissed her while slipping a hand right down the front of her pants, feeling her "stubble" and leaving a 50 ruble note behind for your trouble. The quality of women in there was very low and basically none spoke english. Aging bargirls and aging *****s.

For any of you really interested to learn the Russian way:
Take the public transportation from the airport to the city! Outside of the airport you can sit in a minibus or a bus, for 25 rubles they will drive you to Rechnoy vokzal, it's the first stop of the green line metro station. You leave the bus and sit in the metro, up to Tverskaya or Teatralnaya, depending on the location of your hotel. Then you stop a car and for 50 rubles you reach your hotel. And all this will cost you around 3 dollars, meaning that with the saved money you can have your first round of fun that same night. Plus, you have learned a lot about living in Moscow!
For all the black people:
Moscow is not black friendly. But if you want to meet other black people and girls who like them, go to Hippopotam, it's a club located in Krasnopresnensli park, the closest metro should be Krasnopresnenskaya. Another option for hunting is to go to the cafes that are around the university "Druzhba Narodu", very far away in the outskirts, metro Yugo Zapadnaya. It's full of black guys, students. Actually it's where one of them was killed some months ago, but it's not a dangerous place in the evening, just avoid being there in the night (say after midnight).

Sorry to take so long to get this info out, but I've been preoccupied in Moscow... It is crazy to pay for the taxis at SVO and it is really crazy to have the hotel send a car or take you to the airport.
Swiss and BA fly into DME, Domodedevo, which is a long way from the city. Because there is now a train that runs frequently into the city, the taxis at the airport have gone WAY down. The fare on the train is less than $3. You should be able to negotiate a car for around $30-35 IF you just keep walking towards the train, to the left as you exit the terminal. The train drops you at the Metro Brown line and you can take the metro or get a car to your hotel or apartment. This is probably too much if you are new to Russia and do not understand the metro/language/car situation or if you have a lot of luggage. So use the train as leverage for getting a good fare into town.
It is different at SVO. I strongly suggest that you order a car for pickup before you arrive. If anyone wants a couple of drivers numbers, email me and I'll send them to you. HOWEVER, I sometimes don't hit the internet for several days, so allow yourself some time. The cost of the drivers is about $30-35 for a pickup at SVO. It's less for a drop off. However, I stopped a car on Tverskaya and asked to go to SVO and was taken straight to terminal 2 for 300 rubles!

SVO:
It doesn't get cheaper than $30, so if you order a car at that price you are doing fine.
When leaving customs and going outside you will get accosted by a lot of taxi drivers. The farther out you get the cheaper they get. Last time there I took a taxi from just outside the airport for $30.
Inofficial taxis, or gypsy taxis (they have nothing to do with real gypsies of which there are very few in Moscow), are a very normal form of transportation in Russia. I honestly think they are safe. Never get in a car that has more than one person and never allow the driver to allow someone else in. For travellers unfamiliar with Moscow this can be unnerving at first, but you will get used to it. If you are afraid of riding in non-official taxis and reduce yourself to always riding in the official ones you will spend a fortune on transport in Moscow. Maybe ok for the business traveler, but if you are self-employed or on holiday, you'll likely sooner or later want to start using "gypsy taxis" to allow more budget for mongering and carousing.
Are gypsy taxis safe? Not always. Sometimes the drivers are lousy, often their cars are in lousy condition. It can be a real adventure. If you feel the driver is really awful, ask to get out, making sure you get out somewhere where you can get another taxi and in someplace that doesn't look too unsafe.
Route taxis into town from the airport:
For the light traveler there is also the route taxi option. These minivans leave regularly from just outside the customs section of the airport where the taxis are parked. They are cramped and a bit dirty. They take you to the nearest metro station, either Rechnoy Voksal or Planetaria. It is only about a 20 minute ride. They cost a whopping 20-30 rubles per trip. That is 70 cents or a dollar. Again, this is really only an option for the light traveler (1 or two bags, but no suitcase) and someone at least somewhat familiar with Russia. It also only takes you to the metro, so you'll have to take the metro from there into town. If I'm travelling light I'll sometimes do this, depending on my mood. You can save quite a bit of money this way. Money better spent on women and drinks...:)
Getting back to SVO:
Shouldn't cost more than 700 rubles from an official taxi. I've paid 500, but never less for an official one.

Another tip:
Don't walk anywhere alone late at night for anything but very short distances. Take a taxi.
When walking alone through the center of town late you will get stopped sooner or later. In a group it is OK if your docs are ok, they won't push the issue, but alone late at night they will almost invariably try to milk you for a bribe.
Just two days ago I walked from Ploschad Rev. metro station to Karma Bar, which is about a 15 minute walk straight through downtown Moscow and got stopped by the militia twice. My docs were OK, but especially the second time the militia guy really was trying to get some cash out of me. I was kind of annoyed so I waited it out but he wouldn't budge and eventually I grudgingly gave him 100 rubles and he let me pass. It was about 2 am ( I was the VERY last guy to get out of the metro station, they locked the door behind me) and I was alone on a street corner so I was kind of helpless. I know there are those who say that it your docs are ok you shouldn't pay, but I wasn't willing to call his bluff and the 100 rubles were worth it. I wanted to just get in the damn disco!
After paying he showed me where the disco was, so I guess it was money well spent after all...
Nonetheless, alone at night, especially a little drunk (which I wasn't this time) is really just asking for trouble from the militia.
Right now for some reason the militia are everywhere.

I am a first-time, non-Russian speaking hobbiest, on his way to his first taste of the promised land...I am mainly an avid FKK German-scene hobiest, and look forward to making my debut foray into the Moscow sex scene. So, an easy, economically reasonable transfer from airport to hotel would sure make the transition and general culture shock I will experience a bit easier to eal with.
