Nice day yesterday at Art, arrived around 4pm, planning to leave quite early but ended up getting back at 3am.

Spent Saturday afternoon / night at Artemis, my 1st time (but not last) visiting this fine establishment.

It's a fairly nondescript office style building between an Auto and S-bahn on the west side of the city. As a Berlin local of one year, I found access and entry simple. I arrived at 1500 on Saturday afternoon, along with 8-10 other gentlemen, but we were processed quickly enough through reception. You pay 80 Euros at reception, obtain a couple of wrist-straps, one has a single key for your 2 lockers, the other was orange, and I could not figure out the purpose of it (RFID / drinks / Turkish bath monitor?). You'll get a robe and head to the lockers to change.

Your cash / wallet goes in the small lockers near the reception, your clothes and other crap in the larger locker just nearby on the same level. You will see the girls coming and going with customers in the small locker area at the front, and some will probably take your breath away.

Artemis is basically 3 levels, ground, basement and upstairs.

The basement level is the wellness place where they have spa, sauna, Turkish bath, dip pools and a bar / chilling out area. Nice place to wind down for an hour or so after a session. Basement also has the gym and kino with a few semi-private rooms. It seems to be the dedicated chill out (and steam up in the saunas etc) area, and serves the purpose fine. Straight massage is available if you want it, as well as a smaller bar area.

The 'ground' level is the main level with the reception, the lockers, the changing rooms, and the main lounge, the small 'restuarant' and the kino. The main lounge is where it all happens. I estimated about 80-100 different girls went through during the time I was there (1500-2400). The girls are all naked and were a mix of honeys and a few-past-their-prime types. Curiously, I noticed one older Asian lady of average looks and medium age to seemingly lead quite a number of gentlemen upstairs. Two weeks is about the time that it might (and we're talking very slim chances) show up. It's early, but possible. A single sore is also very unlikely in an initial breakout. Typically patients will have fevers and large outbreaks. The initial outbreak tends to be the worst a patient will ever experience. I would suggest that you were already infected with HSV-1 which nearly 1/3 of all American's have. It's a non-issue and nearly never transfers to the genitals. As always, whether a woman has an outbreak or not, it is possible for them to be shedding the virus.

It's far more likely to catch the clap or G from the back of a woman's throat that anything else. Both of those are curable (even the G super virus).

Finally, as a paranoid mongerer myself that is planning a visit to Artemis, I have done extensive research and called the facility. If a girl tests positive for anything then they will not be able to work until they are treated. If a girl tests positive for something permanent then they are not allowed back. My fourth and final day in Berlin had arrived, but I had no outside commitments and could look forward to a longer visit to Artemis. i wanted to thank those who commented on my message. i am not a regular to berlin so probably will not be a regular to this forum but i wanted to thank everyone for their advice including angus`. also to dapoopa. great to hear the trials and tribulations, and exploits of a recent newbie. hopefully if i make it to artemis i will provide an update of the experience. and kimino, if you are there on thursday (and if i am, i need to blow out the conference i was meant to be at- which is a high possibility) maybe we will meet although i will be off by 6pm (but would start when they open) as i would need to catch my flight but also not sure how to recognise one other without seeming gay checking out the guys! anyway, i am assuming that you more aficionados to the circuit will turn up later when there are more and better girls.

As I said "mostly" awesome) , a hot sauna, a wet sauna, full bathroom / shower facilities and a soda fountain self serve bar. There are the outside rooms as well which were nice.

Ok, onto the "meat" of my day in paradise. Before I dive into the details of the visit, I must give a HUGE "Thank you!" to all those who have posted to this forum. The wealth of information in this forum is really great and helped set my expectations and also guide what to do and not to do. I agree with what ZB says on the non competition between Angus's Blog and ISG and I do think that the two systems simply respond to different needs, in different ways. One acting as a valuable reference and the other more as a news feed where to gather fresh reports and interact with other people. But this is not the issue here, I think.

On the other hand there are rules, and for stupid you might think they are, if you accept them you should stick to them or simply join another site / board.

I'm not sure I fully understand what has happened but if the problem here is Angus posting links to his blog, well, it's for sure more important to readers than to Angus himself.

If people would have read the blog more we would probably have had to answer less time the same questions, again IMHO.

For what I know, Angus has not been banned or similar but I think that his reports are not getting through immediately as happens with regular / senior members but are a bit delayed. Don't know the details. Don't care.

angus has over years referred people in certain situations to his blog, without any problem from admin both here and in the berlin thread. in certain select situations he was available to guide people with particular, often emotional needs. as this had been going on in the threads for years without any issues, when the whip came down last month, it was a bit of a shock. technically what he did probably was (unintentionally) overstepping rules here but it surely was not out of mal intent or personal profit, and it had been going on for years without the slightest red flag. an additional grey part comes from at times responding to new posters who did not have a pm ability so there was no other way to reach them other than posting. now all his reports are screened. he is ticked off that the judgement was so arbitrary and that the matter could not have been handled via a pm vs a kind of pointless, heavy-handed public swatting, especially as he is a key contributor on several threads which certainly adds to isgs reputation, and eventually their revenue. so he has withdrawn completely from the forum.

personally, i very much see both sides. and of course as the isg is jackson's baby, he (or one of his staff who might have actually reacted to this without thinking through the context) can do what he wants, how he wants. but there are lines of simple human decency, even amongst mongers. and for a guy who has put up almost 3000 posts, one (or at least i) would think it could have been handled differently, as in a warning shot across the bow, vs launching the tor****es.

there is a simple pragmatic solution. angus should agree privately to jackson that there will be no more direct link mentions to his blog (even though as the zimmer child correctly points out, it is a non-competitive fundi vs dynamic thing) but he could suggest that readers look it up. the blog actually helps the forum by reducing the need to ask certain questions over and over again. and jackson or admin or someone there could (and in my view should) send angus a pm saying his full senior rights are restored and he is taken off some arbitrary "watch" list if he agrees not to directly insert his blog link in any future posts, though he can mention it exists and people can easily do their own search. the situation comes up only once in a blue moon in any case.

the matter can be easily resolved quietly among gentlemen with a simple agreement that is fair to all. i have written admin privately about this some weeks ago. i think admin needs now to make the first move and suggest in a pm that if angus agrees, the new ground rules would remove any further incident. i never received any reply.

i would urge any like minded readers to do the same: pm admin with your thoughts, and or if you cannot pm, post it here. if admin sees support for this, they can resolve it quickly and quietly together with angus. but admin will need to at least write a one line in eg here or the berlin thread that angus should contact him, as i doubt he reads the forum any more on a regular basis, and really doubt he is reading any more pms from here.

Visit 2. Post my deflowering visit to Artemis (see previous report) I decided I would head back one more time before I left Berlin for my business trip. So many forums on the Web are filled with fake reviews, it would be so easy for this forum to fall into the same trap. Eventually nobody would want to come here, because they couldn't trust anything they read here, and they would go to rival forums. I can't say for certain that this member was posting fake reviews and I can't speak for the admins. But I would say it is entirely valid for admins to monitor this sort of thing and stop creeping commercialism.

In the case of the Artemis thread, there is a special problem, and that is that Artemis basically has a monopoly on the FKK business in the capital (don't mention La Folie, I've tried it and it's useless) , unlike other areas of Germany like Hesse and NRW that have a great number of options and healthy competition. Just as a thought experiment, given that monopoly situation, the high prices at Artemis, and the large number of tourists that Artemis tries to attract from the nearby Messe, what kind of temptation must the management be under to ensure that no negative reports appear in the principal English-speaking site for FKKs, and try to control it by driving off independent reviewers and having their own men in place? Again, I realize it is practically impossible to prove this kind of thing, and again, this is precisely what makes it so insidious. But the patterns are there for anybody with the patience to trawl through this thread.

I've recently been training a new moderator, who read AM's post with the link to his blog and assessed the appropriate infraction "POF. Promoting Own Forum" and placed the author on moderated status, all in accordance with my written Moderator Instructions.

I stand behind my moderator's decision.

The fact that I did not previously catch AM prior links to his blog (because he was one of the 2% of all members who is not moderated) is irrelevant.

Nevertheless, had AM bothered to send me an email acknowledging the infraction and advising me that he wouldn't repeat it, then pursuant to the aforementioned Moderation Instructions, we would have deleted the infraction and restored him to unmoderated status. This is a standard procedure, written into the Moderation Instructions specifically because the entire infraction system is not intended to "punish" anyone but to get their attention and to encourage them to respect the forum's posting guidelines. If they send me the aforesaid email, then that goal has been accomplished and there's no need to keep the infraction active.

In the mean time, AM was free to post and otherwise participate in the forum.

However, what AM did instead was to post a public message along with a battery of PMs (a copy of which was forwarded to me) advising everyone that he was no longer going to participate in the forum. Again, in accordance with the aforesaid Moderation Instructions, when a member posts a "grand goodbye" message, moderators are instructed to retire their membership immediately, this policy having proved necessary in the past to minimize discord.

Nevertheless, again in accordance with the Moderation Instructions, had AM sent me an email advising that in fact that he had changed his mind and did not actually want to quit the forum, we would have automatically reactivated his membership.

At this point, it's all up to him.

I was for the first time yesterday in Artemis. And I'm not impressed.

The fact that the wellness area with the pool was closed because of work, the staff was bitten by a lemon or 15, the receptionist yelled at several guests in the changing area, didn't understand why or what she sad, but she was really grumpy. Didn't actually help with the bad weather so the outdoor area wasn't really pleasant.

Anyhow, I was hit hard by showing all the newbie flags, could as well walked inn with a banner saying "I have a lot of cash, please take them"

Only thing that saved the day was Michelle (?) Colombian petite girl who was really my taste. No upsell, stayed one hour.

After this trip I thought "no more Romanian FKK girls", but that changed today in FKK Leipzig, as I will report in the correct spot in this forum.

No question with summer holiday on now, the lineup is definitely thinning out. As has been said too many times here, while Sun-Wed are more chilled out days which can be nice, in terms of the sheer number of overall choices and options, Thurs-Sat are the powerdays.

But if you felt fleeced, with all the info on the forum, you have only yourself to blame. The whole idea of the innocent newbie is a bit overstated-after about 30 minutes and or 1 session, you are no longer a newbie. It is not like the girls can really sense this unless you are being incredibly loud and just throwing money around. Plus, satisfaction in sex has a lot to do with what is going on inside your head at the time. That question, only you can answer.

Artemis visit, July 9th.

I visited in order of best line up:

1. Artemis. By a good margin they have the hottest girls I had on my trip. They also happened to be the few German girls I had on the trip. Facilities were ok. Seven girls only one shark.
