How do you pick a girl? Just sheer hotness? Well I think anybody who has visited FKKs knows how important it is to sit and chat with her for a while to make sure there is a bit of chemistry.

But lately it's not enough. Too many scammers. Too many girls who are great at making the sale, then drop a personality bomb once you get into the room. Switchgirls. At Artemis in particular it's become a more and more refined technique.

There is one way you can know the truth about a girl. It's amazingly simple and costs zero Euros. Just look at the face of the last guy who went with her.

This game is *all* about observation. For a long time I've watched the guys coming down the stairs. Is a guy chatting merrily with the girl? Is she hugging him, or trailing coldly behind him? How many guys look as if they're coming from a funeral, and how many look as if they're coming from a blowjob? About 3:1 is the ratio I say. A real eye opener if you take the trouble. It seems the average uninformed tourist doesn't stand much of a chance. But if you are reading this, and you know how to find the right 20-30% of girls, it's not so bad. I've had a great deal of success with this strategy.

To observe the right things, it's necessary to filter out irrelevant information. Things I don't bother to observe: what a cheerful personality the girl has at the bar. How nice she is flirting with the guy as they go up the stairs. That's all just noise. Everybody's a darling *before* the sale. What matters is what they look like coming *down* the stairs.

Once you start seeing that, once you get beyond just looking at a girl's boobs and flashy smile, it is amazing how the matrix of possibilities shifts. Many attractive glittering girls fade into the background. You see how you narrowly avoided a terrible fate, and wonder how you could have been so stupid. Meanwhile, there are other girls that you had somehow quite overlooked, and now you look closer, and you see a girl might not have a ton of makeup on, but still be very doable indeed with a slim tight 20-year old body and a cute face. And you realize all the other guys are somehow overlooking that girl just the way you were, and that is the opening for you to make your move.

If you talk to the typical Berliner, the impression is that Artemis is purely and simply a tourist trap, and anybody wanting good sex should stick to his girlfriend or travel out to one of the FKKs out in the provinces. That view, in my opinion, is too simplistic. There *are* some excellent ladies at Artemis. It just seems like getting to them sometimes is like finding a needle in a haystack. But a long time ago, I stopped blacklisting girls in my head (angry emotion), and started whitelisting them (emotion of discovery). This is the attitude that wins.

One thing you will notice after a while, if you follow the observational strategy I have outlined, is that most of the girls who are giving guys a good time are *new* girls. A little background to make it clear? In Artemis, there is a hard core of girls, predominantly German, who have been embedded there for years, who all talk with each other, and who fundamentally don't like men. They have settled on a set of specific practices designed to give customers horrible antiseptic sexual experiences: I call it antisex. The clique doesn't want real competition, so when a new girl arrives, they will try and make her conform to their rules. Often this is a girl who just wants to do a good job, have a nice time with a guy, and go home with a bit of extra money to fund her studies or whatever. I have had some great sessions with a lot of these new girls, then seen how confused they are after the gang gets to them. Should she give the customer a good time or a bad time? Often what happens is that the girl will try to follow the gang rules, realize how she is making her own job one long sequence of unhappy experiences, give up under the stress, and go back to a friendlier FKK. So the key is to find those girls before they are driven away, and maybe give them a bit of hope.

And yes, I know this post will be leapt on savagely by the usual agents on this thread, but I really don't care. Why not? Because this post isn't actually intended for those two or three people at all. Limey, excellent post. Sounds like you know what is up as your post don't sound biased to the particular club. Lots of technical info layed out that if followed, will reap benefits statistically. There will still be that small percentage that will be outliers to what you have said. Not every man will act all jolly or conversing with girls as they are coming out, and this will not mean absolute bad session. What is most certain is if a girl storms much ahead or the man, likely something went wrong there. Also, full 30 min service would most likely mean the girl is not cheating time or providing the man the honest time by staying til the end.

Atremis is not for everybody, it is indeed draws the professional crowd of girls although I have ran into the less experienced new girls there. It's not my first choice in terms of service as I know many other places that I can run into girls that easily provide the the level of service I seek with high in optiks. I have noticed, that those that attend Artemis look into Palace in Frakfurt which is the worst club in terms of services.

I have a pretty high success rate not because of following what you have outlined, but choice in the clubs I attend and the girls I choose. Most times I have pretty good inkling who to go for. I don't look for girls in the reports, and I still have high service success rate. It partially has to do with chemistry, but if you attend more professional clubs like Art, chances of such chemistry is slim to none, and those pro analyzing skills are much needed.

How do you pick a girl? Ciao The Limey, nice reading this. The down-the-stairs, post session, face expression and gestures are very revealing and also fun to watch actually. As everything, has to be taken as just one extra indicator.

I choose a girl because I find her sexy, period. After that, I try to understand if it could be a good choice or not. I never interview girls before a session, at the max I ask if they have a laundry list of no nos. I know it's something most of the veterans will not agree with, but it's just the way I do it. And this makes your question even more interesting.

I agree with the whitelisting approach instead of the blacklisting one, I generally look for the good signals to choose a girl and not for the bad ones to drop her. But what are the good signals and what are the bad ones? And we are obviously talking just of the girls you don't already know.

A smile is a good signal. Accepting a few refusals and still being friendly is one. Not insisting is a good one. Not even proposing yourself is one. Big boobs, small boobs, piercings, no pierccings, blonde, red, tall, slim, that's all taste things and so very personal.

Other things that can influence my choice are: How a girl walks around. Is she in production mode? Is she relaxed? Who is she hanging around with? If she is in a group, what kind of expression she / they have when a customer refuses one of them or when one in the group gets a customer?

An obviously important thing to note is timing. Is the girl doing long sessions, 60 min or more? Does it look like she is staying in the room 12 minutes every time?

How to choose a girl?Limey, an interesting read. I agree with most of what you say, but am not so sure about the observation regarding the walk downstairs. This, I think, can depend on the man. It is probably my least favourite part of the FKK experience. I am very happy speaking with the girls, rejecting or accepting, walking round the club, appearing naked, paying the girl, etc. , but I don't like the "walk of shame", even with my favourite girls. This is usually more to do with my personality than my experience with the girl. There is no logic to this feeling, but it is how I feel.

What works for me is to go with the flow. I expect bad sessions, and I accept that it is sometimes my fault, sometimes the girl, poor chemistry, bad day, the environment, whatever. It can't always be the girl, or she would not make sufficient money to stay there. I can also escape at 60 euros. I find it hard not to feel like I have got 60 euros of value. I enjoy the investigation. If I don't enjoy the meal, I don't dine again at the same restaurant. I don't often regret the experience. There is only one session at Artemis where I have felt 'robbed' and that was a case of egregious upselling. I have strayed from the topic. In the main, I think that I am a good judge of character. Body language is an important indicator, of which observing the walk down the stairs is certainly a part of the equation. However, I focus more on the the body language of the girl, than that of the man. Does she respect the man? The more times that I visit, the fewer bad sessions that I have; no doubt partly due to repeat sessions with tested girls, but also down to experience, and observing of how the girl behaves with her customers, and with other girls. How do you pick a girl? A valid observation, but I am not usually standing near the staircase or the shower / money box area. Here is another trick for the couch potatoes.

I usually tell the girls that approach me that I am waiting for another ahead of her, even if that is not true. If she just gets up and walks away in a huff, then forget about her and move on to the next. I bet you the same girl will return 30 minutes later to ask you again. The girls need to make money, I understand that, but we are the meal ticket. If they perform well they will earn it with a long session in the room, not constantly working on the floor. If a girl responds well, then say "I have you on my list, but later". It drives them nuts, but when you go and seek her out on the couch later, you are generally in for a good session. You would want guys who looked and somehow act like you, or a mix of widely different types, Ok, you don't have to hang around, you could come back guessing when the decent will occur. So, at the end of the day, there is really no short-cut from just talking, and feeling the vibe as Frozty and Kimino (and RB) have said. Finally, this notion that the better girls are "newish". But really, at any given moment, there are 5+ sure bets in the house and if one is just a little careful, talks, takes a little time, finding a great (enough) experience there is really not such a big deal.

I don t believe that you should be ready to risk 60 euros in a hit or miss experiment, that money could buy you a really good whiskey!

So if you know, by going through the reports (I made an excel sheet and spend a couple of days learning it. Don t take the list with you! You can filter out the obvious sharks. And you can know who are great.

However, this is just a preliminary exercise, after that you see if you click with the girl, have some conversation, flirting etc. The forum is full of tips on how to do this.

The advantage of this system is that it will help you filter out the obvious sharks, the ones who hate the job and are just in it for the money. They are always looking for new victims.

I really enjoyed Limey's report and his perspective. When I started to get to know Artemis a little better it was exactly what a good friend told me who knew the club much better back then. And I still have this somehow stored in my head. I would even extend it a little saying that observing the overall body language of both the guest and the girl can be relevant in that particular situation. For instance, when she walks in front of him she might be grateful its over and she literally is getting away from him as fast as she can. Or the guy on the other hand may be running away, away from what might have been the most boring or lame experience ever.

But I would also say it may be a hint but it could also be much different. Imagine we are talking about a place with hundreds of men, mostly strangers from all over the world, many languages, mentalities, personalities, ages and such. And then you think 'wow that man doesn't look enthusiastic at all'. Maybe that's just his usual face. Maybe he is too sleepy and tired which is not rare in such a place where (as many of you are!) there are lots of tourists or business people or who ever travelling a lot, maybe they had many hours of travel or didn't even get any sleep since they arrived. In other cases, the girl might run because she runs most of the time. Its just a few examples and I am not making them up, I could even point to specific observations and experiences I have in mind. But that would go too far in this thread.

Still I believe Limey's observations are quite useful, especially for first timers or men who be at Artemis on rare occassions only. I would just advise against generalising too much since all the things we are observing are just parts of the bigger puzzle. Concerning that bigger picture I very much agree to what Kimino said about other relevant factors for choosing the right girl.

For a first timer in the FKK scene (someone who knows other FKK clubs I would not consider a first timer) I mean we all know how overwhelming such a place with so many naked women can be at first sight, I would suggest stressing the 'rules' or points of advice we already gave a few times. If we didn't include Limey's point I would strongly suggest to do that.

Talking about the 'German Sofa Group' I know my position is not a mainstream position because I have a different approach than even some of my friends have and I am a regular so for frequent guests some things are naturally playing out a little different than they do for others. First we should remind everyone that this is a group of mostly 'Hamburg' women even though some are coming from other cities and are friends or part of the group. Nearly all of the girls from Berlin, Cologne or other cities are NOT part of that group.

Having said that, even the 'Hamburg' girls and their friends who are sitting together, some of them I had great experiences with and others also did. There are two or three girls from that group I stay away from and I would say they fit Limey's description. But with some of the others there is nothing I could be critical about. I could easily name names but anyone who reads the reports will find names of girls who are mentioned mostly in a positive way who do belong that group.

To a first timer I would always say: 'Try to remember the few points we gave as an introduction and start with the girls who are recommended by most of the punters'. This is for those who want to play it safe.

If you have a little more experience you will have your own observations and you will find out what is the best approach for you. For some of us, it is practical to watch girls for very extended time with various customers on various days, and checking for any reports on them, before actually deciding to try them. Its also practical to get recommendations from guys with similar taste that are at least as demanding in the room or more so. For most girls I try, there is little urgency to try in a hurry since I will be returning to the club.

Many techniques for girl selection are useful.

When you meet a girl, and learn her name, its possible some guys will recall if she has had past good reviews or bad particularly if she is relatively famous, although its generally much easier if you already know the girl's name before reading reports about her.

Overall, I would agree with Limey, M1, PL assessments. There is definitely a hardcore professional vibe that emanates from the girls there, like they are trying to take you. You are there to enjoy yourself, and you are paying a hefty fee to do so. Pleasant interactions with the women is a perfectly reasonable expectation.

I also found the whole thing about the German gang corrupting newbie girls to be very interesting. I have seen this dynamic at the workplace many times. It is not particular to women or punting. If a workplace is really malignant, a gang of cynical "lifers" can make it difficult for new workers who try to do a good job. They get sore at him / her for raising the bar. They prefer the bar to be low.

It really surprises me that in such a big city like Berlin, that FKK Artemis remains unchallenged. Well, if you go into all your visits expecting bad sessions, then I guess you will always come away satisfied. Low expectations may be a good strategy emotionally, but it also speaks poorly about Artemis that that is what it takes to have a good time.I also expect (and get) great sessions. I just don't let the occasional bad session get to me. I take the view that practice will inevitably make me better, and I'm prepared to put in the time.

Artemis is the best of the four clubs that I have visited, the other three being in Frankfurt. It works great for me.

I've never noticed the GSG actually. But I do have noticed a Romanian Sofa Group who usually sits by the sofas by the left and to the "north" of the bar when you first enter it. I always consider that area as a shark tank and I never talk to any of those girls even though I find some of them very attractive. The same goes for the girls who are sitting on the bar stools on that side of the bar.

Wednesday I visited Artemis for the second time this autumn. Arrived at 1:00 pm, very calm in the whole club, and not so many girls as I expected, but probably more girls than men.

I didn't recognize many of the girls from my first visit in last week of August, but Zoe (German) was there, she is very easy to spot for her totally red long hair. Zoe approached me very soon, and since I had a very nice session with her last time, I decided to go. First I thought she recognized me (silly me)., and that was the reason she approached me so soon. But she didn't seem to recognize me (why should she? And we went upstairs.

On the bail out bit. In theory yes, you can stop things even in the room. But it will be a grey area and you need to do so before any touching starts. I found it best to pick up the bus at Fehrbelliner Platz, then get off at A (some girls got off the bus too), then pick up the bus from A in the same direction, to avoid crossing the road, and get on the U2 to go home. Of course when there is no strike then there is no need for this and, as you say, taxis are cheap too.

If you have a lot of baggage and/or leave later when frequency of trains drops a little, the taxi becomes more attractive. But if you are traveling light and can time it so you have to change trains only 1 time, you can get there within 15 min of a realistic taxi drive and almost cover a 30 min session at the old Fick Fabrik with the fare savings.

I've been to Artemis twice before and really like the club, though the prices are higher than the clubs in Frankfurt. I am sure I read somewhere on the forum about 6 months ago that another FKK club was opening in Berlin and there were comments about it being good that Artemis would have competition. I'm in Berlin for 2 nights in a couple of weeks time and wondered if the second FKK club has appeared / opened yet, and if so, what it's name and location are and if anyone on here has experience of it? I do not think the clients are ringing the club management to make the bookings with Fatima. It is more like the clients have Fatima's digits and ring her to make the appointments personally. I doubt Artemis management have the inclination to run a booking system for their girls that work on an independent contractor basis.Fatima is very pleased if clients would call the front desk to make appointments with her. You need to ask if she will be in that day and, if she is going to be at the club, then you can make an appointment. She encourages this.

The girls are no longer getting a commission for the champagne bottles since a few weeks ago. In the past the commission paid wasn't much and it even became even less attractive when more than one girl was entertaining the guest since the amount was divided among the girls. Obviously for the girls the best thing is to be paid for their time as you would have to pay them for going to the room even if there is no sexual activity. I am sure there are exceptions for guest who are able and willing to book the girls for a long time, booking extras, giving a big tip and such. I'll be in Frankfurt in January for a couple of days, specifically to visit Sharks for the first time and give Oase another chance after some years. Saturday afternoon and evening, mid-November 2014.

INTRODUCTION.

My first time to the fabled Artemis, the sole FKK in Berlin. I had heard so much about Artemis and knew that I could not travel to Berlin and not visit Artemis at least once. I think Artemis is OK, but not as good as similar big clubs in Frankfurt or GT / Acapulco in NRW.

GETTING THERE.

Because the train drivers' strike was over by the time I arrived in Berlin, I was able to get to the S-bahn Westkreuz station easily via the S42 ringbahn train. From Westkreuz train platform, walk up the stairs to the little parking lot, then walk to the left around the blue car servicing shop. Feels like you're walking along the freeway with all the traffic. I was surprised at how close Artemis was to the train station and busy highway 100; FKKs for me have usually been in out-of-the-way places and this one was a big building right next to the highway. The Artemis building is also visible from the S-bahn tracks as well; I wonder how many of the thousands of people that pass by every day know what goes on inside.

Upon leaving Artemis I ended up getting a taxi back to my hotel near Kurfrstendamm and paid 11 EUR including tip.

Artemis is a big club, but doesn't seem to be very efficient with their use of space. The main bar on the ground is one big smoking area, but very few girls make the trip into the downstairs wellness area and back bar to troll for customers. None of the truly hot ones came downstairs, so to snag a hottie for yourself, you have to breathe some second-hand smoke.

After entering from the parking lot, I paid 80 EUR for the entrance fee and got the usual plastic wristband and a huge key / watchband combo. Together with the cheap diving watch I wear to help keep my on time during sessions, I had 3 bands on my left wrist. Good thing I don't wear a FitBit or something to track calories spent during fucking.

I asked the counter lady for ten-euro notes as change for a fifty, and she at first gave me just 2 20's and a 10, then relented and gave me 3 10's and a 20. I supposed she thought I was planning for quite a few sessions. However, I ended up being pretty done after my 2nd session--guess I'm getting old.

Money lockers are in a mezzanine just above the entry counter, similar to Mainhattan where the money lockers are open for all the clothed newcomers to see you paying the girl you just fucked. Ok for security (hard to conceal a break in) but a traffic jam at peak times between new arrivals, guys leaving, and session payments.

The locker area is narrow but seems to go on forever--with just half-height lockers I think they plan on having hundreds of guys in the place at a time. Sure felt like that this Saturday night.

From the mezzanine you can go into the central circular stairwell; upstairs are fuckrooms with flirty names like "Phallus" in addition to the numbers (although I never could tell if they really matched their themes). Girls pick "keys" off a rack although they really are just key fobs and just a way to tell whether a room is occupied or not. I'm sure someone will come up with an app for this eventually--you could be chilling downstairs in the smoking lounge waiting until you get a ping to let you know there is a zimmer frei.

Just past 2 video machines (one was kaput when I was there) is the main bar area, kind of reminiscent of Mainhattan or Sharks where guys can sit on either side and there can be a racetrack-type of flow around. On the other end of the room is an entrance to the restaurant with an adjoining smoking-allowed eating tent. I was super hungry after touristing around that morning, and had purposely not picked up lunch outside thinking it would be covered in the higher-than-usual 80 EUR entrance fee. But alas, the breakfast food had just been taken down at 3 pm and so I missed out.

I resorted to eating every scrap of snack items I had in my knapsack, including the airplane-shaped crackers from Lufthansa, a half-slice of packaged Vollkornbrot swiped from my hotel breakfast, and a granola bar I stashed from home. This I ate downstairs in the wellness area bar, a sleepy quiet place with guys lying on couches and a very attractive but cold-as-ice bartender. They had left some magazines lying around, like the German versions of "InStyle" and "People" but without any girls making the rounds down there it was kind of boring.
