Hi all,
My friend and I arrived at GT at 6pm by car, we couldn't find a parking space as it was full inside and also the side alley.
I asked the security guard chap in the car park where to park, he waved his hands in a criss crossing motion which means NO. He was effectively saying the club is full as opposed to the parking is full.
This was 6pm, I thought it was rather strange that the club was full at this time.
My friend and I are Asian (British born and bred) and I wonder if it was a case of wrong colour.
I don't want to jump to the race card however it is bugging me.
Anybody reading this report, were you there and know if it was full or not?
OR can anybody shed some light?

Your French African friends sure must have been keen to get into GT on Sunday arriving at 11:30 am when the club opens at 13:00. A 1. 5 hour wait outside Heidweg 1 for opening time. That is dedication to sauna club visiting. LOL.
Generally, if you get to GT at opening time everyone gets into the club since the place cannot be full at opening time. There may or may not be a queue of guys already there. Just mingle in with the other guys hanging around wanting to get in and go in together.

This is not the first time that you did not get into GT. I recall you did not get into GT on 17 October 2009 and you arrived at 3:30 pm in the afternoon which is a time that one would hardly call a busy period at GT. This maybe a case of deja vu.
It is good that you had a back up plan going to Planet Happy Garden just like last time in Oct 2009 you went to Villa Vertigo.

One of my friends walks into GT and says he can fuck 90% of the girls in the room. I walk into GT and I say I have just 4 girls that I could possibly stick my cock into. To give context, GT had over the weekend a line up of between 60-70 girls to choose from.
Different strokes for different folks. I wish I could be like my friend and just pick any girl and fuck them. I end up procrastinating and missing out on hookers since I am looking for the one that pushes all my buttons before I will book them. As Haitek said, the club was not full. The queue for dinner was relatively short so there was food even at 19:30 available when at times it has run out by 19:00 or even earlier.
When I turned up I just saw so many new girls since the last time I was at GT. Seemed like an excellent turnover was made in the line up.

I definitely will try GT once again in the summer at 2pm-ish (perhaps 3rd time lucky).
If I don't get in then I guess there's no point being upset / angry. I'll register it as my " 50's Mississippi experience".
People who don't know me do tend to think I'm Turkish or Arabic and I'm aware from my friend who works in Germany that there is some anti-Turkish feeling in Germany.
Perhaps GT management run an unwritten quota system for non-whites.
To be quite frank, I don't give a toss about GT it's only another club and a club is only as good as the girls that work there and the experience they deliver in the zimmer.
For me (having been several times to Artemis, Oasis, Palace, PHG, VV, Samya, Dolce vita, Heavens gate, Blue note) it's more about curiousity and wanting to tick it off in having been there.

RegardsIf you really must try GT, I would go to Living Room first and request a discount pass to GT. Doubt they will turn you away. Personally, I don't think it is worth the effort since there is nothing exceptional at this club that you will not find at another.

I think you must be as picky as me then. I can walk into Oase where you can have maybe 100 girls and I am listing the ones I would like to do on the fingers of one hand. I end up spending hours wondering which one to do. At GT this weekend I spent several times sitting in the lounge and did eenie meenie minie mo and just picked one. I did this and picked a dud in Maxi (ro). Just reminded me not to do that again so willy nilly. It did not help that a fellow ISGer recommended her but had not done her himself but had hearsay from another guy. She did not give me good vibes this Romanian but I was going with the flow wanting to do the no repeat weekend of just new girls.
Bluat, if you are as picky as you say then I think it is better sticking to the bigger clubs since the smaller clubs may not provide you with the selection that you want.

The first time that you went to GT on 17 October 2009 and got the response of "the club is full" was at 15:30 and now you think arriving maybe at around 14:00 is going to be better? 14:00 is not opening time, opening time is 11:00 Monday to Saturday and 13:00 on Sundays. Or maybe go with some guys known by the club Thekefrau.
I know it is tough having made the effort to get to GT and being refused entry. From your description of what happened it looks like you did not even get a chance to leave your car to get to the Reception door since it was the car park security that turned you away. Correct me if my read is wrong, but you drove up to the GT gates and the security guy waved his arms in a criss cross motion meaning "no" to your interpretation and you just turned around and moved onto PHG in Oedt. Was there any discussion by you and the car park security person?
I have given you my take on what has happened here and you can take it anyway you want. I am not going to dress it up any other way.
I really like GT and it is the club that I go to the most in the NRW region. The line up to me is the best in the area and I have never left GT unpopped. At times, for me personally, I give GT's line up the better beauty quotient per capita over Oase. The difference at Oase is that the Oase line up are more willing to do things and take requests I have found. I have had this discussion with other Germans and they agree that the Oase girls are more happy to do all the interesting things. I think it must be something about the FKK nakedness that reduces the inhibitions.

By then there were hardly any girls in the lounge. Around 8 girls. All the rooms were full though. The cinema had maybe a couple of girls. Those three guys I think just ended up drinking their beers.

Why didn't you ask him in German? Its more likely he doesn't speak a word of english, also possible that he has an issue with people who are in his country who can't speak his language. Same as being waved off at the gate. That wave might have just been telling you there was no parking spots free. The cab is dropping someone off, not parking in a spot. There's no need to wave off a cab from entering.
To sum it up, its not the parking guys job to decide who can come into a club and who can't. His job is to keep the parking lot organized and be ready to control any guys who get out of hand. Its been written here before about guys actually parking there cars and then being refused entry at the door. It was "YOU" assumed he was telling you that you couldn't enter the club.

Interestingly, over the weekend my GT companion and I before going into GT discussed the car parking options. We stood in the GT car park and looked around at all the places one could park when the club's normal car parking areas are full.
This was the list that we came up with and was enabled by experienced and actual discussion with the car park attendants.
1. Usual logical place to park your car is in the GT compound itself in Heidweg 1;
2. The other immediate choice is in the street of Heidweg itself;
3. The front section of the Building Material Goods store's car park but not past the second gate which gets locked when the Building Material Goods store is closed. I know some Ice Bears that have parked in the inner car park section of the Building Material Goods store and when they left the club found that their car was locked in so they had to stay in Bruggen for the night and come back in the morning and wait for the Building Material Goods store to open to get their car back before going to work.
4. You can no longer park on the grassy verge of the B221 road no more just outside GT so that is not possible.
5. Guys do park in the dirt path on the field opposite Heidweg. I dare not in case my car tyres sinks into the mud.
6. Drive a bit south on the B221 to the Tierpark's car park area. Loads of car parking and it is not gated. The Tierpark is a family orientated place.
When I get to GT in my mietwagen / rental car when the spaces in points 1, 2 and 3 are full the security guy tells me to park in the field across the road per point 5 or to go to point 6 and park at Tierpark. They are trying to be helpful by maximising the spaces to get as many customers as possible into the club. So cars parking and taking up two spaces is lost money in terms of car park space.
The car park attendants are really helpful. They ask you to follow them in your car and direct you into the car park spots. It is a combination of hand signals and verbal instruction. One even helped me park my car once.
When I see the car park attendants I will give them a smile, a wave and a greeting and a few words in conversations if the chance is there. They do look after you.
I came across this scenario once at GT. Got to the club on Saturday afternoon at about 3:30pm.
Saw lots of cars parked in the material compound and on Hiedweg Paths. So I drove into the GT parking lot hoping to find a space. The parking lot was obviously full, the attendent came out and waved his hands to say full or no entry. I thought F@ck. I am not going back to VV after Friday terrible lineup.
He then said something in German and pointed his hands towards the gate. I still didn't understand,
Luckily there was another car behind me waiting to park.
The car behind me reversed and luckily I followed him to the next parking lot about 100 metres down the road.
When we parked, the parking attendant had actually caught up with us in his Black Jeep and offered us both a lift to the club. That's what I call service!
When I left the club at 11pm. The Jeep was waiting outside ready to offer punters a lift back to 2nd parking lot.

Oase 50E for CIM compared to 25E, anal 100E compared to 50E & 1 hr 100E compared to 75E. The management@Oase seems more laid back compared to GT where the 100E an hr women are scared to death if the management found out there are charging 100E instead of the norm 75E. Some of the more "interesting things" well that is another thread.

The club was not full. GT was not really busy all week from the feedback that I got from my companion who was there for the last 4 days before I arrived. When I was there it was not full either.
As has been mentioned before the Youppie forum actually has a thread totally dedicated to those who have been refused entry to GT and the discussion around it. So it is not just the Anglophones that see entry refusal as an issue.

Thanks in advanceI was there & I arrived around 3:30pm & had to park in the other lot. Not a big deal as the Hummer shuttle service took care of me both ways. Did not realize Good Friday was a national holiday as the streets in Dusseldorf were empty. Nothing open except for a few Turkish doners & McD. Reminded me of what it felt like after 9/11. Since it was a holiday, no need to rush to GT as I knew they would open@1pm.
After visiting one of my regulars in a small club, headed over to GT. After the 2 guys who entered before me was asked to share lockers, I thought it was going to be a loooooong day. I entered the main room & it was empty! Most of the men were outside drinking, hanging in wannabe crews taking notes of all the women present, talking really fast & laughing@their own corny jokes or sun bathing on the lounge chairs.

Samya. A good club but its all indoors. Its a club that makes it hard to spend an entire day there if you know its nice outside. The new fkk planet might be the better choice now, both clubs are an hours drive from GT.
In view that Lisa has been reported to be back at GT, I just want to give some props to her for her work ethics:

I am from the ethnic majority and haven't yet been to NRW but in Oase and Artemis, the clubs I have been to most, I find that plenty of girls have refused to see me, giving some excuse, and then I see them with another guy. Or they look through me and totally ignore me! But if I were there and it were a Friday or Saturday night, then I'd hit either Living Room or Samya. I don't particularly like the set up at Samya but a handful of my favorites have set up shop there.
I still have yet to visit Acapulco but between Beffen's positive impression and a few over favorites I know who are there, that my be my first stop. I have to out that way for some days and I'll probably make a point of sampling some of the "new" places (Aca, Planet, etc.)

DedalusRight you are Ded- I was in GT the first week of May and I was appalled, depressed, saddened and maddened at the lack of hot young babes- there was absolutely not one girl who tickled my fancy in the lineup. Aki and I left for LR at 8 PM. Couple that with the Ijsbeer crush and I'll be giving GT a miss for the foreseeable future. This was my first visit to Golden Time and I will describe the experience as seen through my newbie eyes.
I arrived by car at about 11. 30 am. I was expecting a big sign, like there is at Oase, but was disappointed. The entrance is right opposite a builders merchants and says Heidweg 1 on the wall. A very helpful and friendly parking attendant pointed out my space and, as well as other punters, girls were also arriving at this time. Two of them in a rather nice Mercedes at the same moment as I parked.
I was buzzed into the one storey building. A friendly lady at the entrance desk on the right of the entrance hall took my 50 euros entry, gave me a robe, and attached my electronic key to my wrist. She then went to the changing room with me (opposite the desk, on the left of the entrance hall) and showed me how the locks on the locker worked. The changing rooms are well appointed but rather small for the amount of men at the club (in fact the whole club is rather small for the numbers there) and often I found all the showers were busy and all the toilets as well, however the wait was usually fairly small and there are alternative showers and loos elsewhere in the club. The club thoughtfully provides supplies of hair gel and deodorant and plenty of towels were available by the showers. I like the way the robes and towels were branded with the Golden Time logo. The receptionist also gave me some shoes, which were also to be found in the changing room.
I then ventured out for a look around. The building is built around an innner courtyard which contains a jacuzzi, some showers, a sauna, a massage bed and somewhere to have sex. The main bar is easily located and this room also contains plenty of bar stools and sofas. The girls mainly were on the stools by the window next to the courtyard, whereas the men were on the sofas, however there didn't seem to be any rules about this. There seem to be rooms dotted around the club and the kino, which took me a while to find, is at the other side of the courtyard. There is plenty of space for public sex in the kino which has a couple of sofas but mostly has bed-type furniture. Girls seem to hang out pretty much anywhere in the club and most of them smoke, so the atmosphere can get rather cloudy at times (of course plenty of the punters smoke too, which doesn't help).
I went outside where there are extensive grounds, a barbeque area, sofas and eating benches, loungers and some more cabins where girls go with punters. In fact I never used any of the indoor rooms but was in the cabins for both of my encounters. These can be a bit chilly but have heaters in them which warm up fairly quickly (at least they did on a warmish day in May!). There are also other tent and beds where sex can take place, in varying degrees of privacy. I then settled on a lounger half way down the garden to read a book for a while and settle in to the vibe.
Some German guys who had travelled to the club from Munich, via Oase, chatted to me for a bit but otherwise I was left alone. Of note is that no girls approached me in the garden. In fact hardly any girls used the garden area and there were mostly men on the loungers.

I got to part with ya on this one, buddy. The standard pricing is what it is, and nearly all extended session that I do in NRW are just fine. Been a while since I gave into a 60/100 girl and that was a rare happening.
I do plenty of 60 min sessions for 75 EUR and quality never suffers. In fact the girl usually makes out pretty well since an hour session for me really translates to 45 minutes, which is more than a gal earns just standing around.

Whilst the individual monger might not mind, it opens up huge new avenues of exploitation by sharks (especially when dealin with foreign rookies (I. E. - A club is not a market place. That is a level higher, I mean, I can decide to go to a Flatrate Club, PT or Saunaclub. But once I enter a Club prices should be fixed (although yes girls formally work independent, but there are informal club rules).

I've been impressed on a recent trip to the region, and while the weekends can be a bit crowded, I've found the early weekdays to be a great time to visit. I was amazed at the line-up for a Monday.
It's also a great club to visit if you want to avoid the "Romanian Village" scene. A lot more variety of nationalities than the other clubs in the area. Seems to be a lot of Polish girls right now. On Friday night Kim appeared briefly to disappear almost imemdiatly for very long in a room with a regular of hers who had set an appointment.
Anyhow Kim was coming from YY that day but she confirmed me that she has not founf her place yet, being still quite on the move between the clubs due to the fact that in NRW lately there has been quite a strong crisis of clientele and too many new girls from the EE countries.
Anyhow, being my regulars mostly "local" girls (notwithstanding their origin if german, Polish or dutch) from all of them in the last 6 months I have heard lot of complaining about the crisis hitting the clubs and the too strong competition of the large bunches of new girls.
An other thing the "german speaking girls" are blaiming about is the fact that due to the above situation there are around too many girls offering bargaining rates for their services ruining the market. Honestly said lately I have been travelling really a lot to NRW and many times also over the weekends places like LR or VV have been really slow and girls have been trying to offer discounted prices to get to the room.
I am more the guy who sticks with his regular girlfriends but anyhow it was really interesting to listen to what they had to offer! LOL!

Totally agree with Jak. There been many bad reports about the recent GT lineup recently. I was there on Monday 4th July. It was a beautiful day and the lineup was amazing.
I arrived at 5pm and was surprised to see the stunning Kim. Tall and blonde short hair (De) leave at around 5:30pm. She wasn't too happy (I'll explain why later).

I agonised over whether to use my free entry into VV, or to invest another €50 and go to GT. In the end I went to GT, but once again, my initial reaction was disappointment at the selection on offer, although it did improve as the day went on.

I did see a black guy actually in the club on one of my few visits there. And he definitely wasn't the janitor. So maybe they don't have an absolute policy.

As for the "Not-German" refusal, I think it was only a way to avoid clearly stating that the reason was the skin color.

Either way (non-German, non-white, whatever) it is definitely illegal. However, an establishment could a) throw out someone based on behaviour and be) there is little objective measure of such behaviour, so even without the rule, there would probably be a de facto policy. Probably all prefer that, if folks will be thrown out anyway, then it is better to do it up front.
Of course, the problem with prejudice is that it doesn't give the individual a fair chance, no matter how good he is. That's why it's wrong; whenever one deals with individuals, one should give every individual a chance. However, this doesn't change the fact that various groups of people do differ in their average behaviour. If one has only this to go on, one has no choice but to base one's own policy on such average behaviour.

As far as I know it is pretty well known (other forums etc.) that this kind of thing happens a lot in GT. They also seem to be hesitant to allow large groups in, the advice to newbies is always to show up with 2 people maximum, if your group is larger you should split up.
For the record, apparantly this kind of thing is legal. The clubs are 'private clubs' (hence the buzzing in you encounter at all clubs) and as such are free to refuse anyone. This is also not the only club that does this, Freude in Bochum is known to cater only to caucasians. It seems they even have set up arrangments with taxi companies that they can't send Turkish (or Arab I guess) drivers to pick up the girls when they go home. Funny thing is that the owner is actually Turkish.
The reason for these blatently racist policies seems to be the result of bad experiences with groups of men from certain ethnic backgrounds. This still happens at different clubs in the area, I recently read a report about a bad day at LR because of a group of 'new Germans'. Door staff differ and are allowed to make their own calls. Since GT is a premium club (more customers then they often can handle) they can be picky. If you're part of one of the well know tour groups you would not have a problem no matter what color or race you are. This sometimes explains why you see guests you normally would not see at a club (they have a connection). Profiling can and does happen at most of the clubs, you may have not noticed or been there when it took place. One big problem with the internet is posters who claim to be experts yet they don't even know who the big players (management) is at the clubs. Assuming things often is the start of false rumors and info. For example one poster claimed a bald headed guy at GT looked like one of the owners of the now closed Atlantis club. Pretty foolish to make such a statement only on the fact someone was balded. Its often assumed that if someone is built (muscles) they are bouncers when some become and actually are management. I don't think the owner of GT is biased on race (I'm making this statement from actually knowing the person). The key here is making the majority of his customers happy as well as the women. Tourists are not the bulk of his business and never have been so he caters to his regulars many of whom are Dutch at GT or local Germans. All over Germany Albanian, Turkish ie. Men are known to manage and or mistreat the women, therefore some of the basis for profiling is based on this issue. The look varies from Arabic, black, Latin and even some Asians are not permitted. Don't just assume cause you see one black guy they should or do let them all in. Groups unless well know by staff are also rejected regardless of color or race since groups often cause problems if Alcohol is involved. At the moment LR is not as strict as GT, they cater to the conventions in town, they are also a step below GT in selection. Those who have been doing this longer know the owner used to own a smaller club along the A3 years ago. Both clubs have several levels of management, some are women (two I know of at GT) and (one at LR) plus several men who are working at the same time. One key is noting who is wearing street clothes in the club. (I've heard and actually knowing who is who is key). This separates those who really know the business and clubs from the amateurs partaking in this hobby. Find someone who really knows what they're talking and visit a club to really understand.
Newbie is denied entry to GT, assumes it is based on his skin color, vents on the board and labels GT "Hitler"-like. This was my first visit on a normal weekday to GT. The last time I went on a Thursday it was a public holiday. The place was busy but not over crowded. A few girls said Hello, : Tonia.
