First time:

You got to pop your cherry at the NRW, I'd recommend the two clubs in the area. Those pics on the LR webpage are old with some changes(but provides good idea of the scale) like the dining area in a separate room with the out door tent. TT's description of the scale is a good estimate.
Since I rent a vehicle, I usually do LR on the same day as GT. 30min from GT. I ask lady at the front desk for 25 Euro off discount card to LR, and works out well since LR opens later to 4am, whereas GT opens til 1(2 on weekends). Depends on the night, LR could be pretty busy with a lot of punters. I experience this since I head to LR from GT at night. It's better to arrive a bit earlier for days a lot of punters show up like later on during the week.
GT has more variety of girls as far as nationalities, but there are some German girls (Turkish, Rus) at LR currently. GT on the avg will be older aged (but there are plenty of low 20 ish I take there) with LR high percentage of Romies. So yeah, varieties and avg age would correspond closely to Sharks. If YY were any good, the Dutch would stick to it instead of travelling deep into Germany and filling their forums with reports on LR, Aca Gold, and so on. I went to YY once and the Ro girl I picked had a lot of bad habits that seemed as if they were group-enforced: no DFK, no fingering, etc. This is a danger in any club that is 80-90% dominated by one nationality and it takes an active management to counterract it. As a regular GT visitor I went to LR, the so called sister-club, for the first time this night (Sunday), because I had a job close to the location, it was already late, and I didn't want to go the long way to GT.
I was curious how it would be compared to GT, my regular and favorite club. It was the night when Dortmund and Bayern were playing the Supercup. And to say it in in football words, LR to me is like playing League 2 compared to GT Bundesliga.

About the Daniel controversy, after several visits in Sept to Oct, haven't noticed many girls (notable for me) that left. Just in case the questions are serious. Not in a long time. It is no secret what rules some of the Swiss clubs have and it is also no secret that the line ups in those clubs will be at the higher end of the FKK club spectrum. Off course it is not worth it.

Germans just depends on which girl you go with like any other nationalities, I've been with many at the NRW. I will say the my luck is higher at GT with Germans in regards to service. Isa and Lisa are nice girls. Sophia and Kimmy supposedly has good reputation. Like any nationities, you hit with some and other you don't. I have had the most luck there for younger Germans. There are many Germans with various ethnic backgrounds as well.
