I've found a pretty nice little hotel near the old flower market, kinda in back of Kempinski, called FX Hotel. Didn't read through the posts past page 1, so not sure if reviewed elsewhere, so to be brief:

Cheap, was about RMB 300 for cheapest room, overnight if you want it that long.

Clean, rooms very clean in my experience, nice glass walled shower.

Amenities, standard towels and such, plus internet

Really does not have 'feel' of a Chinese hotel which is a welcome change.

I've either booked the room online or in person alone, or once even the girl booked it. Never had a problem with anyone saying anything walking from entrance to elevators directly.

Two reports by him, same content word for word.In fairness, 20 minutes interval between the two, so perhaps he didn't know about the delay between posting and publishing.

However Beijing 2010, how does one know you're not LE ?

Two reports by him, same content word for word.I am newbie on this place, I was made a post in the wrong thread, that why it appears same the post in 2 diferrent thread, in fact I did some investigation before calling this girl, including seaching on the internet with her number, it does not appears anywhere, not like Lily number, there are many results came up if you put it on the google search, anyhow I will try up Lily service during my next visit to beijing since there are many discusion about her.

For those think I am a LE, please DO NOT call the girl, as you know, it is very difficult to get a good and reliable source in beijing as compare to southen part of China, it is my first time of contribute a contact that I had tried and I promise I will not mention any number agian in future, to eliminate misunderstanding of promoting some one, it is important to have some local Chinese friends which can provide useful infos to you whereby you can't get it from internet. But one most important thing is to get a safe hotel before engage with any girl, many hotels with security patrols at the lobby to look out for suspiscious girls.

Do you know anywhere better (sauna / MP with services) in the same area? I've not found anything in the forum. No, afraid I know of no saunas/massage parlors offering services (except the usual rub & tug) in the area of the The Place. Several BBS across the street to the west (two near the light on the way to Jenny Lou's and three more as you head toward the Silk Market). Sorry, but still looking for the same thing.

Ok this was my first time here

Called Beijing Massage outcall, even after the reports about it.

But happily suprised, beautiful Mei Mei showed up about 1 hour later, no thanks to my location. But she was tall so fucking hot! I would say 9. 5. We agreed on 900rmb, for 2. 5 hours, boy this girl is great. I enjoyed some DATY, her pussy was just so tasty and wet, I could resist. Anal, BBBJ and all, multiple positions, and times. She wanted me to call her later, but I was looking for a new girl. Beijing massage she said had many good looking girls, but out call is tai gui le! She wanted to take off the condom about half way through our session, but I told her, xiao didi likes his cover, and she laughed.

I would use beijing massage again, just I forget which dman number from the websites that I had called.

I'm staying in a 5-star in the CBD (I'll say which one via PM), which is not a traditional mongering hotel. It's a business/tourist hotel. They have a placard in the lobby saying that all guests must be registered, and there can be no guests after 11:00 p.m. Has anyone else seen hotels in Beijing having similar behavior? Is this just CYA / window dressing, or do they really mean it?

They have a placard in the lobby saying that all guests must be registered, and there can be no guests after 11:00 p.m. Has anyone else seen hotels in Beijing having similar behavior? Is this just CYA / window dressing, or do they really mean it?These signs are in the lobby of every hotel in Beijing. They state the Chinese law: all guests must register at the hotel if they stay after 11:00 pm. This is also true if you plan to stay at a sauna after 11:00 pm. When you stay in a hotel or sauna the staff enters the guest’s passport/id information into a computer tied to the local police bureau. You must also register if you stay overnight in an apartment. In this case you must personally go to the local police office, present your passport, and fill out a registration form indicating how long you will stay at that address. What it comes down to is that the Chinese government wants to know where every foreigner stays all of the time (surprise, surprise). As a matter of fact, during the Olympics when the police conducted a sweep to clear out all of the working girls, most girls who got in trouble did not get arrested for prostitution, but rather for failure to properly register with the local police bureau. I know of at least 1 girl who was caught during the Olympic sweep that still cannot enter China to this day.

The level to which the law is enforced is left to the individual hotel. A girl-friendly hotel will look the other way, while a non-girl-friendly hotel will have security guards posted at the elevators directing couples attempting to enter the hotel after 11:00 pm to the front desk to register. It is totally possible to register your overnight guest if she has proper ID. Chinese girls will need their normal identification card. Others (Mongolian, Russian) will need a passport with a valid visa. On the down side there is the chance that your guest’s name will appear on your hotel bill, but you can always request that it be removed when you checkout.

Police have been known to follow a couple back to a hotel, check with the front desk to see if both individuals are registered, and if not, go knock on the hotel room door. If your guest is not registered you may have questions to answer, and even end up "downtown". If you are both registered then technically you are not doing anything wrong - unless you happen to hand the girl cash right in front of the cops.

Good Luck

The rule about registration is stated in the back of the landing card that you filled when you arrived. As far as no guests after 11pm, I have seen this in many countries. Seems to be a standard hotel policy.

What I wrote was incorrect, and you caught me. I meant to write about no visitors to hotel rooms after 11 p.m. Yes, you have to register with the cops here, and the hotel does that for you. My observation is that even high-end hotels appear to be enforcing the no-guest policy now.

If your guest is registered then she is not a guest. I register my female friends sometimes but it is more tricky if your friends joins you at midnite....easier if she checks in with you.

My observation is that even high-end hotels appear to be enforcing the no-guest policy now.I think you are 100% correct on this point.

2 to 3 years ago China World in particular was 'open slather' - you were just never challenged regardless of what time of night / morning you marched your w.hore in.

Then all of a suddent I am challenged 1 night - I just ignored security's persintence and went into elevator.

Now every time I check in I ask for Duty Manager - have a quick chat to him / her - problem goes away.

But Beijing just not the same as past times.

The big sign was just window dressing. I brought someone back at 3:30 last night, and nobody batted an eye. I was freaked out for nothing. There is an old Chinese saying "You can do anything as long as it is not noticed by the Emperor"

Modern translation - While there may be a law, as long as you do not do anything to draw unwarranted attention to yourself, you should have no problems.

Hi all,

I'm new to the scene and I'm going to Beijing in December. I'm looking into the 500 or less RMB per day hotel scene as I do have some financial limitations but I'd like as much comfort and luxury possible from what I have. Can someone recommend a good hotel that is close to the areas of Da Wang Lu or Chongwenmen?

I'd really like to experience some Korean girls, any idea if Beijing has any?

Any help would be great

Cheers

Someone has info (PM is ok) about action around the BCLU in Haidan?

I think there aren't that much action going on, but usually I head to Propaganda and Mango to see if I can get some numbers for freebies with the exchange students.

Let me know if you hear about other types of action around BLCU.

The actual bad news is that, without a VPN, someone can track your internet use, including what you do on ISG.

VPN's: Don't go online without one.

I'm planning to go from Sep18-23 (which is holiday "silver" week for us in Japan so expect alot of japanese tourists that week) -- plan to do some sightseeing, but would like to have company in evenings and some of the days.

Is Peninsula Beijing good? The brand is 5-star but this one is way cheaper than Westin, St. Regis, and other 5-stars. Any reason? Could not tell from reviews.

Also anyone know which are guest friendly? I know 5-star often are not.. but I prefer something a bit high end.

Will plan to go the famous Maggie's, will anyone else be around to help guide a first-timer in Beijing? I'm good to buy you some drinks if Sammy or someone is around.

Just an FYI, I had no problems bringing in take-out three nights in a row at the St. Regis well after midnight. There is no one posted at the elevators, just one attendant standing around in the main lobby right inside the front door, and he simply turned around and walked toward the lobby bar as soon as he saw us get out of the taxi.

Fabulous hotel by the way, if not quite worth the price. I found a miracle deal online several months ago and booked a king room for 3 nights including breakfast for 1600+tax per night. It was definitely worth that price.

I chose the CTS hotel purely because it is near the convention center, so now i wonder what is nearby. I did RTTF, but the results were similar to "mostly harmless". What can you guys tell me about the hotel and surrounding possibilities. Is it near Maggies or any other fun bars, or am I going to be stuck in the middle of a vast wasteland?

Was in Beijing with the SO. No time for shopping or looking for a sauna. There was a room with massage on the door in the lower level. I went after lunch. The girl looks pretty good. I go in and motion for a massage. She calls a blind guy in to do the massage. Damn. I take the massage and look at her now and then. While paying (60 for 60 minutes) she looks at me and asks 'oil massage'? I point to her and she nods yes. I give her my room number. 10 minutes later she arrives. I'm bare and lay down on my stomach. She starts, I reach for her leg and squeeze, she reaches for didi. I turn over and we haggle. Arrive at 500 for fucking. I point to her crotch and move my hips. She goes to get a condom. I pull her pants down and eat her pussy. Sweet, wet and her hips squirm in my hands while I eat her out. She has trouble with the condom. Too small. I show her how. She smiles and lays down on the bed. Nice smooth tight pussy. I get in the strokes I want to blow the load inside her. Our rythym matches. We get up, I pay her and she gives me her cell number. I call 2 days later. A little better fuck. Multiple positions. Longer session. I would repeat. A little pricey but when traveling with the SO time is critical. Senior members can PM me for hotel information.

Maggie's and main bar districts are all within a 15 minute taxi ride. BUT.. your hotel is in the middle of the very opposite of a wasteland. I can think of at least 8 BBS's within a few blocks of the hotel. Selection changes frequently. Most will meet you back at the hotel. Also seen smoking hot girls from the call-in service at nearby hotels, PM me for details & for BBS locations.

Sorry. Too many people asking for info and the few that have the info are probably too tired of answering the same old dumb questions.

I can provide info (and I do) on several other forums but this is my first trip to PEK. I did quite a bit of searching first before posting questions.

Hilton Wangfujing: I am guessing the spa there is legit. If I am wrong, or if there is any inside info that can be had, please post or PM.

Please share any info regarding Saunas or BBS with some hotties in that general area. Several people in the recent past posted similar questions (Rhode1 for example) and none of them got any replies. Just giving it another shot.

THXYes, Hilton Wangfujing is a legit spa (and exceedingly expensive for what you get). With the current crackdown in Beijing (been going on for a couple of months) most sauna and BBS are only doing HJs these days. If you are looking for FS, best thing to do is to go to Maggie's after midnight and experience a Northern Sister (Mongolian). As good or better than most SPAs and BBS.

Aside from that, there are several massage places in Wangfujing but I have never been to one to recommend. You will also run into touts making offers as you walk around the area (even had it happen to me when I was with my wife - talk about an interesting moment)!

If you're reading this forum and the Beijing regular forum, it's pretty clear in there. The 4-5 star hotels are all cool, just make sure she's got a passport later at night. I happen to like the Kerry a lot myself, with a grocery in the B1 area and a Citi ATM. Nice little stroll to Maggies from there, or take a left on Guang Hua Xi Li (before you get to the British embassy) and hit the restaurants like Bleu Marine or Mexican Wave.

Don't worry about being "close" to the clubs with ladies. As long as you're around the Chaoyang area, it's a cheap taxi ride. When are you going to be there?

Chinese WGs don't have passport? I know everyone is going after the northen sisters, but in case you end up with a local girl, will their ID card be cool too?

I agree about ChaoYang district, just about any hotel there will be fine.
I once stayed near the universities in Zhongguancun in the western part of the city and it was a lot of trouble to taxi over to ChaoYang area.

Yes, something like 20RMB. Taxis are pretty cheap here and almost always honest. So it'll be around 10 mins in the middle of the night with no traffic and in the daytime can take a lot longer to get in and out of the area.

There are lots of touts on Wangfujing who will come up to you asking if you want to visit a lady-bar or want a girl. I bargained with one just for fun a few weeks ago and got her down to RMB 600 for overnight. There are a lot of well-reasoned warnings to stay away from touts, but I've had good experiences in Beijing and Tokyo with picking them up (the young, cute, female ones) at either a bargain rate or as a "freebie" (like dinner and a drink). Kind of like you know you're both playing each other but who cares. Just be careful and don't go to any bars/ktv or tea houses that they recommend. Instead try somewhere neutral and public like the nicer restaurants on the fifth floor of the big APM mall at the north end of Wangfujing. If you're looking for something more sure and less time consuming (if the hotel spa doesn't work out) then try calling one of the outcall services that other members have reviewed.

Hope you have a great stay and report back.

First time in beijing for a while so I'm a newbie...Is one more girl friendly than the other? Or closer to the action? Ideallly I'd prefer some call-in to the hotel if someone can send me a PM with digits...

Kajos,
Thanks a lot. That map really helps. Looks like a straight shot. I assume the cab is only around 20RMB?
Jay

Hey Jay,
If you can afford to stay at the Crown Plaza, you will never need to worry about cab fare amounts in China.
Also - the ride back in the cab is often a very fun anticipation builder! Sometimes I wish the cab ride back was a little longer.

Hi,

I just want to reconfirm my hotel recommendation: Millenium Grand on mid third ring road ( 北京千禧大酒店).

It is absolutely girl friendly, even if you go to the inhouse cash machine with your girl.

Close (10RMB) to Maggies, Sanlitun and chaoyang gongyuan ximen, etc.

Check it out.

I have tried sifting through the info on the forum and not found the info I am looking for. I therefore ask the question:

Any of the Beijing airport hotels that have "room service" at a reasonable price? That is, massage with extras. I ahve a 12 hour layover on Sunday morning and need to make a pick. Thought I might as well have a bit of relaxation in the comfort of my own room.

Will very much appreciate any answers, please do not hestitate to PM me if discretion from big brother is requiered.

Thanks in advance for sharing your experiences.

They have a in room massage service. You just pick up the phone and call the massage place. They will send you one. The initial offer the normal massage was 298. When the girl came into your room, she will try to up sale. She offered me the full service was 1500. We finally came down to 800, includes BBBJ, Cowgirl, and FS. The service was everage and the girl looking was 5/10. I got in the hotel at about midnight and was realy tired. It serve the purpose.

In general, international-chain-hotel massage is a no-no: bad massage for 500+ RMB, extras for silly prices e.g. up to 2000 for HJ! Better to read the Beijing forum, find a recommended outcall provider, and call in the talent.

Just MHO.

Good hunting

I took the general consensus advise and spent my layover in Beijing sleeping - alone!
Some action in South China, though. Not that pricey, even at good hotels.

Thanks guys!

Park Plaza Wangfujing is a decent hotel and within walking distance to the malls and night market (food stall) street. I stayed for 5 nights and they would let the craigslist and escort massage girls come up to the room without any hassle. I just called them and then they showed up to the room (kind of scary if you get robbed, but convenience for GF). I never brought takeout home with me from Maggies so not sure if you showed up to your room, maybe you could go first and they could follow later? I upgraded to executive and they gave free breakfast and free afternoon snacks. If you like to drink alcohol, then get the executive as they had liquor and beer. I liked the convenience that it is on the corner of the subway station, don't recall the name of it.

Need help with finding a service Apartment or hotel that is near a subway exit. Near means about 5 minutes walking distance from subway to hotel or service apartment. Might be in Beijing for about 8 to 10 days. Price would be around 300 to 375 RMB a night and preferably a 3 star hotel. Also not too far from center of the city maybe 3 ring ? Telephone, address if possible my friend can speak and read Mandarin. Being a GF place not necessary.

I know this isn't hotels. Com, but could any of the brothers recommend a hotel to a newbie with no mandarin skills? I've been in Japan having a blast for 2 years, now I'm stopping in Beijing for one week before I head home. Beijing is so big, and mongering reports seem to come from all over the city, I don't know what section (Dongcheng, maybe?) or what hotel to settle on. I just want a reasonably priced hotel within walking distance to a sauna or maybe a few bbs (if its safe!). Close to the Forbidden City would be sweet too since that's the only major attraction I am interested in. Should be interesting to compare and contrast mongering in China and Japan!

Hey.

Am a just college grad so am on a tight budget. I just wanted to know if you can bring a outcall girl to any 2 star hotel. Is it safe I don't want them to call the cops or something.

I can't afford those 4 or 5 star hotels just to bring a girl over. I rather spend it on more girls. I saw a 2 star hotel for around 30 bucks.

So am looking for a hotel from 30 to maybe 40 a night tops.

Thanks

ThanksThe first question is: will the outcall want to visit you in a 2-star hotel? She (or her mama / papa) might think you are a cheap charlie.

The second question is: can you speak / write / communicate in Chinese?

Why not book into a known BBS area, get to know a mama or papa, and have them deliver to you. The first time there might be some nerves (you, the mama, the girl) , the second time it will only be nerves from the girl. Cheaper, and closer. .

Just my experience.

Enjoy and report.

1. True they may not want to go but my concern was if they did let the girl come over will the 2 or 3 star hotel stop the girl from coming in or call the cops.

2. I can only speak basic mandarin enough to get by.

3. I don't know a BBS area. Can you tell an area. But also I read that the police are still cracking down on them until sept. 20.

So not sure if that safe right now because I ll be there next week.

Stayed there many times over the past 5 years and I have never had a problem getting a taxi there in rain storms, snow storms, bitter cold days, lightning storms, dust storms and even on the hottest of days or when rushing to the airport. There was always a line of taxis to the left when you come out of the entrance. Otherwise the bell hops or the concierge would call one upwith no additional charge. Still visit the girls next to the ATM on the second floor but you do have to negotiate well with them as their prices have steadily climbed over the years. Still best to bring in outcalls for 3-5 red maos. Sorry you didn't find the taxis convenient. Still a reasonably priced place to stay on WanFujing if you negotiated a good rate. Great breakfast also with nice street view. Just there in June.

Point.

If the hotel has a massage area, foot or full body, go get either a foot massage or a full body massage. During the massage point to your crotch and smile. In my case the conversation usually goes like this. She writes 500 on her phone and says something like beautiful girl. You nod affirmative. Girl arrives short time later. You accept or reject. Go to the room, fuck her, give her the 500 and she leaves. English will be minimal. Hell I didn't want to talk to her anyway, just fuck. Usually shower before and after. No drama. No bullshit. Just great fucking. Get her cell number call her direct next time.

Point.Taxi situations all over China had gotten much worse in the last year or two. Taxi fare did not keep up with inflation, so it is going to get even worse, as those fares are controlled and not driven by market.

I would stay away from WangFuJing, or at least should be on the Peace Hotel side, like Taiwan hotel would be ok.

Nobody might have tried it:

1. Ask the hotel manager can you bring a girl. He will say yay or nay.

2. Explain situation to the girl of your choice. She WILL want a premium. See what you can negotiate. And she may demand money upfront. Offer her 50% upfront. I have no idea if they will go for it. Go ahead and try.

It has been known for some time that Great Wall Sheraton and Landmark are both girl unfriendly, has this changed recently? Especially at the Landmark?

I need to switch to a sub-way friendly hotel and it seems that my choices are limited if I want to mimimize the sub-way travel time from the airport.

On a recent trip I stayed at the Howard Johnson "paragon" (I think) by the railway station. It was not girl friendly. They had a big sign by the elevator saying no guests after 10. I tried an out call a bit after that and she got in OK but was too greedy so I sent her away and asked for a replacement. New girl came and was hassled by security. They would not let her up. She called me to come down and they were all arguing away in Mandarin and ignored my lame protests in English. All got a bit freaky so I bailed and met her later in the lobby to give her taxi money plus a tip for the hassle. I don't know if they would have acted the same if we arrived together but I won't stay there again to find out. BTW had the hotel massage later and FS was on offer but at US price. Maybe the spa girls have an arrangement with security to minimize competition.

Have any of you guys heard of this hotel? Per my Chinese female friend,"The hotel english name is Grand Mercure Beijing Central. You can go to www.agoda.com Then to look for this hotel. Area of this hotel near subway station, near Tian An Men square.

Chinese name is &21271; &20140; &35199; &21333; &32654; &29237; &37202; &24215; and the hotel address is &21271; &20140; &24066; &35199; &22478; &21306; &23459; &27494; &38376; &20869; &22823; &34903; 6&21495; , &35199; &22478; &21306; &35199; &21333; &37329; &34701; &34903; , &21271; &20140; ,

She's telling me if I book a room 7 days in advance with a credit card (she does not have a credit card and I hesitate to give her my card info since I am meeting her face to face for the first time) , I (we) can get the room for 460 RMB / night vs the regular price of 564 RMB / night. I told her to look for a room with at least a double bed, either a large shower stall or bathtub (for kinky reasons) and a safe in the room for valuables.

1. Is that a good deal?

2. Is it safe to give a Chinese hotel my credit card info over the phone from here in the United States?

3. Is the hotel girl-friendly?

4. Is the hotel decent by American standards? (Looks good in the pics)

5. Is the hotel in close proximity of mongering venues in case my relationship goes sour with her?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks in advance.Come on, man, just book the hotel from the internet, what is this whole thing about calling the hotel, so you get a better rate? Besides, if you try to book it on the internet, you will know if you are getting a better deal.

I have never stayed there as I like the easten side better, but it is inside 2nd ring road and close enough to subway. Getting a taxi in BJ in the evening can be a real problem, so subway access is very useful.

Any hotel in China, especially in BJ, in that price range, is more then decent by American standard, in fact, I would much prefer the hotels in China for the same price, at least the service is much better in China. As for if the hotel is GF, I had posted earlier, only the Great Wall is known not to be and all others should be fine. There might be cases where the hotel sauna might have tipped off the security guys to block outside girls, but in general, the hotel policy in BJ is quite relax in letting girls in.

FillmoreYeah, I just looked at the map. It's a KM to Wafujing and another little walk to the subway.

I just remembered it taking about 10 minutes to walk up to WFJ and that there was a subway station up there somewhere.

I do like being near a center like that so when I just can't stand one more "I don't know what's in this food and I hate it and.

Why does it take 20 minutes", I can just pop into McDs or KFC and sort of know what I'm going to get.

I did book a few nights at Grand Mercure Beijing Central last night but it was frustrating as shit. Someone suggested using ctrip. Com but it didn't work out well. I filled out the online info for an advertised "Superior" room for about 393 RMB. I expected to get a confirmation email soon after, but I waited about 2 hours and a Chinese dude from ctrip called me and said they could not guarantee a double bed or that exact rate. WTF? Seems these hotel booking sites advertise a rate but actual price and amenities are certainly not guaranteed. I ended up giving my "girlfriend" my credit card info and she booked the room. Even with her, the hotel gave a rate of 6. 3 RMB / dollar, less than the 6. 5 RMB / dollar advertised on currency conversion Websites. I guess it is what it is and I have no experience in the Chinese game yet.

BTW, is Wafujing famous for mongering activities? And, does anyone know of any mongering activities in the vicinity of the Grand Mercure? I think I'll be arriving at the hotel a few hours before my girl so I might want to get a little action beforehand. Also, does anyone know of a good Beijing map in English I can see online? Hard to visualize all the mongering areas you guys talk about.

FillmoreThe Novotel XinQiao is in the Chong Wen district, not terribly far from Wangfujing (short taxi or subway ride). The Chongwenmen subway station on Line 5 is right outside their door. Their rooms are good, and they seem to be girl friendly (I've brought in girls, though they happen to have been freebies, no idea how the hotel would spot the difference.). I've seen SW outside their door in the evening, though never tried them, but that's another clue to me that the hotel is cordial to them.

FillmoreThe last time I was there, this hotel was not girl friendly. They had men who doubled up as security guards standing nearby the hotel lifts to vet people going in and out of the lifts.

Because of this, I never stay in this hotel again.

Have any of you guys heard of this hotel? Per my Chinese female friend,"The hotel english name is Grand Mercure Beijing Central. You can go to.

www.agoda.com

Then to look for this hotel.

Thanks in advance.I use www.sinohotel.com Have done for years and never a problem and NO payment in advance.

I always ask for the confirmation in both english and Chinese just in case the hotel reception try the.

'sorry no booking' or the 'no english' thing. Does not happen often but it does occassionally.

The wangfujing bookshop has a good selection of maps including dual language and the Periplus map for.

Beijing is available in many overseas countries.

Thry google for a subway map and there is a BJ bus website.

Do you remember the room rate at Jade Garden?

Hard to visualize all the mongering areas you guys talk about.I don't remember the rate, and it was 2010 anyway so the rate won't be the same. I've had no problems with ctrip. Com for booking rooms anywhere in China. Book it, show up, same deal as advertised. I can't offer any other info than that on booking. Wanfujing is a tourist walk street. You'll find pimps and teahouse girls and all the usual scams that go along with those areas. I did pull a girl from a she-pimp from there but it's a last ditch move and was only a mediocre experience. Read the forum to find better opportunities.

Does anyone know of a good massage parlor within spitting distance of the Grand Mercure Beijing Central Hotel? Their address is: 6 Xuanwumen Nei Avenue, Xicheng District. I have a reservation there but calling the hotel from the US and trying to glean info has been impossible. Their staff's level of English is shit. Their Website says they offer massage so I want to find out if they have a masseuse on the premises or they call out for one. I plan on getting there a little early (possibly before check-in) and before my GF, so I would have to tow my suitcase around. Everytime I call the hotel, the receptionist tells me to wait, then connects me to someone else who cannot speak English. Yesterday she connected me to a woman who kept saying " this is fitness center." Frustrating as hell!

It would be an unusual hotel that does not have inhouse 'entertainment' for men, they go under the guise of names like sauna, spa, health centre, fitness centre etc. Of cpourse

Massage and other (non-sexual) therapies and activities are available.

In house girls are usually expensive, for example 200rmb to front up for basic massage and a spiralling charge in increments of 200 rmb for each 'activity' full service can.

Cost, maybe. 4 or 5 increments.

If you get no luck in the hotel for massage and / or extras you will be in xidan a major shoping area and, when I was last there girls approaching you in the street. Beware of.

The scams, there are plenty, best to read on this site to find out the usual and not so usual scams.

I'll be making my first trip to China (beijing and shanghai. Actually will be in a number of other countries as well, but starting in China) , will be staying in 5star hotels for business. Slowly learning about this, what I've not been able to ascertain from the posts is. In the nicer hotels. For in room massage service. Is it really massage, or is there a range of services? And how to tell?

Secondly, the general consensus is for the escort or outcall massage services, the photos on any of their websites are bogus. Crystal and Angel's services appear to 'bubble to the top' in these forums as ones that folks are happy with. Is there any way to get an accurate read on what a given girl may look like before she shows up (ie, I call and ask for 'lulu'. I'm pretty sure she's not the same 'lulu' on whatever web site. How to tell if I want 'lulu' ahead of time or not?)

Thanks folks

As I will be in China with my SO and family, probably the best venue to satisfy my hobby will be with a visit to a MP / Sauna. Nearby

Place I can go to and disappear to for an hour or so. Other options may be too challenging. I would greatly appreciate if anyone

Could provide MP or Sauna information for a dedicated hobbyist around Jinbao Stret in Beijing and Southern road, Capital Gym (not far from the Beijing Zoo). I will be staying at the Park Plaza Wangfujing at the beginning of July and finish my holiday at the Nikko New

I will also be visiting Tibet for couple of weeks. Any suggestions, recommendations regarding mongering with boundaries would be

Greatly appreciated.

I wanted to share this experience as a lesson to the newbies around here. (like me)

About a year ago I went on a vacation to China as part of a tour package. We had a guide during the three cities we visited and of course I was there with family so I didn't expect to have any time hobbying. I didn't study up on this China forum before I left and I didn't do any research into the areas I would be visiting. That was my biggest mistake!

Shortly after arrival in our first city (Beijing) the Mrs decided she didn't like the pollution and wanted to stay in the hotel room when we weren't touring. We were staying at the Novotel XinQiao. As a result I had a lot of free time to just wander around in the evening. Problem is I don't speak or understand Chinese and without any research I was at a loss for what to do with my time. The first night I wandered and smiled at girls in shopping malls and ended up generally wasting my time since I had no plan and obviously I couldn't take anyone back with me. (How do you ask a girl you just met to take you back to HER place? LOL!)

Second night I figured I'd ask for help. From my travels in the Philippines and some other countries I figured asking the nice young bellboy would help get me pointed in the right direction. I guess in China that depends on which direction you were intending to go. I figured this western hotel was like any other back home. WRONG. I asked where I could find some cute girls and was hastily escorted into an elevator where the boy pushed the DOWN button and stepped out as the door closed behind him.

Ok, so the door opens up to a brash brightly decorated room with an older Chinese lady at the desk. She ushers me down a series of hallways and into a big room with a TV and a microphone. Right. This is my first time at a KTV parlor and I honestly didn't know the drill. Of course the fun never stops since then like 12 girls walked in and I was asked to pick one. I made a rookiee mistake and picked the hottest one, who of course was an old pro at this. 200rmb for the room, same for the girl. Oh and bought a round of overpriced (60rmb) beers and figured I was in for this much, lets kill some time. The girls must get a cut of the alcohol sales or something since I swear she chugged it before the first verse of the song was over. We then played a drinking game with one rule. Drink whenever she tells me.

She was cute and had roaming hands, but I could tell that I couldn't afford this place and still stay in my vacation budget so I kindly struggled my way out of there explained to the mamasan that no I REALLY couldn't take her back to my room no matter how good the deal was. My wife would not be happy with THAT! This was a good learning experience but not a succesful trip report. Still I learned a few things:

1) Do my research here first, even if I don't plan on using it.

2) The Novotel XinQiao is most definitely girl friendly and will even try to help you get one.

3) Leave the wife at home.

The new Holiday Inn (across the street from the hospital). Although probably may not be gf. There was no issue from front desk getting service delivered here despite the front desk being very close to a card-key elevator. There was a maintenance man near the elevator one night for about an hour around 1am but soon left. Just walk in separately and front desk says nothing

3) Leave the wife at home.I can relate to your challenges. Leaving wife at home may be difficult, depending on your relationship and the type of work you do. This site is extremely informative and I wish I would have joined it years ago. To think of all the lost opportunities in Thailand, Cambodia, Laos etc. ; but its not too late to start. If you need to travel with your wife, and return to China, I suggest you try the hotel spa, or some of the other incall options like massage, BBS joints. Also, you can try an outcall in another hotel (not the one wife is in) , that is girl friendly, asks no questions and you can rent aroom by hour. All the information is here.

OSSince I did not get any response so I didn't want to take a chance, and decided on the Westin nearby, and it was great. I had girl came to me at 2am, I went down to meet her and the security guy warmly welcome my "friend" and press the elevator button for us, hahaha.

While in the room, I got quite a few solicitations from WeChat, arranged with one to meet in lobby, when I went down, saw quite a few standing there, looking like the WG type, none quite to my standard though, so I went back up WeChat back that I have a change of plan.

OSGreat Wall is not the most girl friendly place you can stay. You should be able to get visitors in easier before 10pm. But there always seem to be someone standing at the elevators and starts asking more questions as evening goes on. But as you said Westin is great place to stay, much better than Great Wall Sheraton.

TAZMost of the motels are available for hourly stay. And because of they are hourly rooms, there ain't strict rules. Most of these hourly motels only require one person's I'd. Passport is also accepted. You can get the room first and ask the girl to come later. The price ranges from 100 to 200rmb for 4 hours. I always stayed at this one near the temple of heaven. I am trying to decide between the Marriott City Wall, Marriott Courtyard Northeast, (I am platinum Marriott) and the Crowne Plaza Lido. Well, before describing the service and the experience, I would reveal some of the information that is related: I'm a Chinese, except for I'm bilingual which is a bit of rare; I got to know this escort service only by googling "Beijing Call Girls"; I stayed in Beijing Kerry Hotel for couple of nights.

The reason I got this escort service is not very hard to imagine. The blog of this escort service (http://***************.blog.com/) popped out and I got hold of Angel real quick. She was very very nice and patient and recommend her best girls to me and, by which I'm moved, she was patient enough to buy me the right type of lingerie.

I told the girl, JoJo, to come at 23:00. Kerry hotel very much appreciate the privacy of their guests, as she could just walk in the hotel and wait for me in the lobby without any possible disturbance.

Her service was just great. She was patient, gentle and wild when needed. Her BJ technique was fascinating and thorough. Everything just went smoothly. I personally cherish touching her tanned, soft skin. She could be super seductive as she just lying there and smile at you.

The price was more than reasonable: RMB 1500 for 2 hours. Who could ask for more?

I have been to Beijing for many times and for those who are planning to go to Beijing, I would say that Angel's escort service would definitely make your night.

I stayed there for 2 nights this past weekend. Dreamed that I spoke with the manager about this, after 10 pm girls must show ID and officially register as guests, and copies of their ID are transmitted to the Beijing police for them to keep on file. There is no extra charge for bringing the guest in. Security is tight, as this is a smaller hotel with only a narrow entrance to the elevators where security is stationed all night long and demands showing a hotel key for each person trying to access the elevators. Other than that, the rooms are very nice and the location is good—no more than 10 minutes by cab to Maggie's (50 RMB to go, 100 RMB to return (off the meter), and it's right next door to the "Golden Strip (that is a walking only, highest class shopping stretch where touts for WGs will approach you if you walk alone.

Stayed there recently, and it is not an easy to sneak in a girl late at night. A previous poster on the Beijing thread mentioned something similar. I guess the girl can register and be allowed in, but some Chinese girls are reluctant to have so many hotel registrations on "their record. " I called an outcall agency and she refused to send a girl to my hotel at midnight, saying it was too risky, and said she'the send a girl the next day but only during the day, not at night. So then I texted an independent that I've known for over a year, and she also refused once she knew where I was staying. I told her that I would change hotels the next day and asked for a hotel recommendation in Wangfujing area and she said Wangfujing hotels are strict. So, that night, I just ordered room service from the hotel spa and way overpaid for FS. The next day, before I checked out, I ordered from the outcall agency. And then I checked out. Went to a hotel in Haidian, which were my old stomping grounds, and boffed 3 independents the next day to make up for lost time.
