Given the price point (100 baht for 4 x50 MG or 180 for 4 x100 MG), it makes no sense to fake it.
Kamagra is ok (gel and pills), but seems to come in variety of inconsistent packaging, so either the company is very sloppy, or there are fakes around (which might still have the active ingredient, but seems dodgy). Also, I could swear I had inconsistent results with various batches of Kamagra gel, though obviously didn't do a controlled study.
The real, non-generic Viagra seems like a ripoff to me. Price is so high that I can't see why they would be selling the real thing and not well-packaged fakes, to boost the profit margin. Probably should have done a walk through cowboy, but didn't want to take chance and run into either GF1 or GF2 planned for the rest of the trip. Got to get back into the grove.
BTW, the cab drivers are getting even worse about not wanting to use meters. Had my first driver from the airport pickup start negotiating after already in the car. Never had this problem before. And same thing when I needed cab back from patpong to asoke. They really need to crack down on that crap. Tourism has taken enough of a hit already to start things like that really turns people off.

Gogos night 2/2.
I only had 2 nights free where I didn't have a regular part time thai GF scheduled so decided to hit Nana as I hadn't been there in at least 2 years as cowboy is my preferred destination. It's my first time with this foolishness from the aiport pickup, since they have to register when the pull in my experience had been they avoid this crap, but first time for everything. If I hadn't been dragging a full bag of scuba gear which made my total luggage weight around 40 kg I take the train as well. I do miss the express though, was just easier with luggage. Doesn't seem like they are going to return that to service as it's been a year since I saw it open. In the end I paid about the same as I would have on the meter with tip since I didn't tip this time so a wash there, but still annoying.
For this I never pick up a taxi at the airport in the last 4 years, if I need to go in Pattaya I booking a taxi in advance on internet and if I need to go in Nana I take the BTS.

1st night comments:
It is too bad about your first night at Bada Bing where a small error cost you the game. Your mistake was that you did not take the girl you initially liked when she was free to go with you especially since your time in BKK was very short and did not allow for any do overs. This is not usually a critical factor for me because I stay in BKK for 3 or 4 weeks per visit so there is nearly always time for me to get a girl I want. Still, I have learned the hard way that a bird in the hand is worth two in the Bush.
The two tiered pricing for the Bada Bing Coyotes is a bad trend which began a few years ago in Pattaya at What's Up. My favorite bar I hate to love. The barfine at What's Up is 2000 bt before midnight and 1000 bt after, but the girls ask about the same money as the other top Pattaya Go Go's so I tolerate their system because their girls are really HOT. The Bada Bing Coyote barfine and service charge, on the other hand, is set prohibitively high because management absolutely does not want their Coyote girls to leave the bar. Period. I think the Go Go is still all right because it has a lot of talent and their regular girls are above average compared to most other Go Go's (excluding CH, Baccara, and RB4) and priced in the normal range. So Bada Bing is still worth checking out IMHO, just don't buy drinks for the Coyotes.
2nd night comments:
What suspense reading your 2nd post. Ha Ha. While I was reading your report I thought, "Oh Buddha" this guy is about to make the big mistake and I wished I could have warned you about Straps, but then I see that you smelled something wasn't quite right and let the "girl" walk away. Good move! Then subsequently you discovered the issue independently that Straps is a Post-Op Lady Boy Bar with only a couple of natural born girls on the premises. Perhaps that is why your "Gal" was so into short time. First I hit Nana Plaza. I've had some luck at the Mandarin in the past, so I went there again. I chose the downstairs one at random. It was really dreary. Very few girls. All looked bored. Mamasan was pushy. The fastest beer I ever drank.

The bar is huge with 2 big stages and many smaller ones.t.After reading your report I can recall that it happened to me as well when I was very disappointed. Several times, I have been to venues like Nana plaza or Soi cowboy and spend some time sitting in the bars looking for a hottie I would like to BF and take back to my room, sometimes overlooking a girl not so hot but acceptable in hope of finding the exact one in my imagination or a better one. Which turned out that I missed a good chance and ended up getting back empty handed. Oh and its mandatory for me to give Rin a visit for her legendary hands LOL.
Most important for me is time when I am in BKK on a short visit so I try to avoid unnecessary travel, try to stay as near as possible to the action area, plan some action schedule a day ahead (not to early), and some backup in case it doesn't work. I will also try to target myself to the most certain venues like I said earlier. Try to take good sleep at night, avoid the ladies to stay over night unless its exceptional service or looks, eat plenty of good food, fruits and liquid. Stay soft on alcohol and have limited quantities per day.
Anyway that's my thought and the way I do, others may do it their way and surely there are others who do it better.

BTW, the cab drivers are getting even worse about not wanting to use meters. Had my first driver from the airport pickup start negotiating after already in the car. Never had this problem before. And same thing when I needed cab back from patpong to asoke. They really need to crack down on that crap. Tourism has taken enough of a hit already to start things like that really turns people off.That sucks. How hard is it to just turn on the meter and go!?
If that ever happens again, just point to the meter and say taxi meter before you even get in. If the driver starts talking price, walk to the next taxi and ask again.

I can't predict infections. Could be eye infection, could be cuts or burns. I am not thinking of STDs in particular. If have a problem I consult internet to see if any of them might work well, and sometimes they do.
I have not made a habit of BB other than with long term GF and with another longer term almost GF. However getting an STD is still possible. Have had Chlamydia unexpectedly in my life, despite using condoms for sex. Its very easy to transmit.
I expect risks in Thailand are significant. My buddy went BB and had Gonor. In his first week here. You can get a dose pretty quick if you try hard.

I used to take the express airport train until that stopped running. Carrying my luggage on the normal airport train all the way to Phaya Thai station and then on the Skytrain to Asoke station was too much of a bother (and I'm not getting any younger either).
So of all the times I took a taxi from the airport to my hotel near Asoke, I doubt if the meter showed a price that was 50 bath more or less than the other taxis charged me and those differences could be easily explained by traffic jams or other deviations that are a fact of life in Bangkok.
I found most taxi-drivers courteous and willing to please. The few that suggested a "fixed price" would immediately relent after a polite "mai khrab" and "Please use the taximeter". None even tried to make unnecessary detours to rack up the price.

Have any 'bad symptom thing' tested (so cheap and fast to do) and get prescribed the appropriate remedy.Sure however internet research can show what types of problems antibiotics are suitable for. For example Azithromycin is known to treat Chlamydia and also some other infections.
I have stated I buy spare antibiotics as have found some General practioners quite useless and the difficulty of getting doctor appointments in foreign countries where don't speak the language and on an urgent travel schedule.
It is essential to use the correct or siutable antiboitic for the right problem and take them on correct way.

Sometimes doctors guess wrong and prescribe the wrong treatment too. Happened to me too many times. If treatment works, its great. If not try again.
I once went to a GP in Germany exoecting them to test what type of infectikn I had. No. Said I would have to go to a specialist to get a test. Gave me eye drops that failed to work. They guessed wrong. Waste of time for me. Their guesswork was no better than mine. Azithromycin potentially could have worked if I got lucky. I had to put up with eye infection longer than necessary because of wrong treatmemt and no test to find out what it was.
A later treatment worked Gentamycin drops but I never found out what my infection was.
There do exist other problems where correct treatment is more obvious

Some countries even do not allow import unless you have a local prescription or import licence.
Be very careful in Thailand where drug related offences are treated harshly.

Also in Pattaya they don't sell valium, xanax, alprazolam or similar in the pharmacy but if you go the clinic you will have this kind of medicines without any question or problem.
"Hot meters"? That is certainly not my experience in Bangkok.
I used to take the express airport train until that stopped running. Carrying my luggage on the normal airport train all the way to Phaya Thai station and then on the Skytrain to Asoke station was too much of a bother (and I'm not getting any younger either).
So of all the times I took a taxi from the airport to my hotel near Asoke, I doubt if the meter showed a price that was 50 bath more or less than the other taxis charged me and those differences could be easily explained by traffic jams or other deviations that are a fact of life in Bangkok.
I found most taxi-drivers courteous and willing to please. The few that suggested a "fixed price" would immediately relent after a polite "mai khrab" and "Please use the taximeter". None even tried to make unnecessary detours to rack up the price.A few years ago I took an airport taxi to my hotel in the general Sukhumvit area and the metered fare was about 150 baht more than it should have been (there was little traffic or delays on the trip so that didn't account for the high fare). I also had stayed at that hotel tens of times so knew what the fare should have been and I also confirmed there were no recent fare increases. When I got to the hotel the bellmen agreed the fare was way too high and made the taxi accept what was the usual fare (approximately) to the hotel.
Around the same time period, I also had a couple of airport taxis refuse to turn on the meter, and I ended up getting out of their taxis.
Since then I have had a taxi driver I know pick me up at the airport so I don't know whether my few bad experiences a few years ago happens much if at all these days. But it was because of a few bad experiences with taxis at the airport that I decided to rely on one taxi I know.
I should add though that just before I settled on one taxi, the government did start a program to clean up the taxi situation at the airport. And from what I gather that program was a success, whether a perfect success or just partial I don't know.

I don't have much trouble on Departures level. I refuse drivers that come running to me. I take guys politely waiting at their taxi or preferrably having just dropped off a customer. They are so grateful to get a customer, there is no scamming attempt. It's a long time since one did not use the meter. If the offered fee is fair, I would take it. Cost of rides have gone up recently.
Anyway due to competition can ask any driver his price and simply move to next one if offer is not good. I suppose it's much easier for me speaking Thai fluently. They will know there is no point ro try to rip me off.

I was referring to the "Arrivals" level when I described the ticket machine etc.
Similar arrangement now in both Melbourne and Sydney where you get in a line and are directed to the next taxi according to a numbered system.
In SVB the ticket from the machine shows the taxi bay number, the taxi reg number and the driver's name. He will be waiting for you. They obviously punch in their details when they enter the taxi bay.
I did not see any add-on charges on the ticket.
There is an officer standing at the machine to direct people to their waiting cabs.
Even if there is a line it moves remarkably fast.
I have never needed to waste time traipsing up to "Departures" with baggage and then trying to catch a waiting cab who has dropped off departing passengers.

The 50 baht airport fee is enforced as an add on to the meter reading, it is not shown in the meter fare.
It is levied by the airport (lots of airports try to make ancillary revenues by milking passengers in many ways). It has been authorized 3-4 years ago by the Department of Civil Aviation (ruling airport areas). The weird thing is that the authority didn't make it compulsory to be paid (not cashed by them, so they don't care) but it is up to the taxi driver. Pretty sure drvers have to pay it to the airport handler AOT.

So that leaves roughly 10 days to do the Thailand sex trip. I have RTFF on both the Bangkok and Pattaya forum and still have yet to figure out which one is best, I would like to stay in one place to get a real feel of the scene, both have their advantages and disadvantages, so what do you guys think? With a meter (you pay tolls of 75 Baht) I've experienced a lot of 195 Baht, and a high of just under 300 Baht. Things do vary, but this is my experience with about 15-20 trips in.

As to at the airport, I have seen it go back and forth as to whether they all turn on their meters and I finally decided to just have "my" taxi guy come and pick me up even though I end up paying him more to do this than if I paid a negotiated rate to a taxi who wouldn't turn on their meter. At least I know my guy is honest and hard-working, and I don't mind paying him a bit more for this.If you are on the BTS side of Patpong walk over the road and they will use meter. I have never had an issue with fares from airport. I always insist on meter so there is no temptation to skip the toll roads, cost is usually 400 baht to Suk. When traveling solo I take the train as during the day it can be faster than taxis.

I went to Soi Cowboy looking for Crazy House but couldn't find it, so settled for an old haunt, Baccara. Unusually, the mamasan sent me upstairs immediately. It is on the opposite side of the street from Climax Club. Right next door to the Aussie Pub / restaurant place (where the waitresses wear the yellow / green uniforms). Those were the days when both the rooms used to be packed to capacity on weekend. There use to be more of normal crowed then WG / FL. I have been there and number of time with my regular date Shut doors of Bed club and Q bar added to its popularity. Now I don't see that class of crowed, even the number has thinned down. It seem all want to be crowed is heading to KU DE TA these days cause all the girls I have dated now prefer to fo to KU DE TA instead to going to levels.
I feel really sorry for the club Sugar. I don't know how many time then name and management of that club has changed. Even the level management try to run it as W or WE club (Not sure of name) for few months but they failed to generate enough revenue.

It definitely is a WG / FL spot these days. I was a bit surprised as I had heard that it was more of a "normal" club. However there were still a lot of "normal" looking couples and groups there (including farang girls that were mos definitely not working).
Nevertheless, the quality was not all that great. The girls tended to be a bit older 30's and up. Then again maybe I st the bar a bti too high as I was lookign for something like Ibar / Insomnia in Pattaya. I did enjoy myself there and would go back.
Took some pictures of Soi 4 and Nana plaza few months ago. Golden bar below the Nana hotel is no more and hooters has taken over the spot. I still like to spend a night at Soi 4 and Nana plaza. I should preface my report by first saying that I am not a big night club fan but thought I would stop in Levels Club in the Aloft Hotel at the end of SOI 11. I arrived at approx 10:30 and the crowd was thin except for the outside area. I had retreated outside to find a seat as there are virtually no seats inside unless you are ordering bottle service and reserve a table. I also left the inside portion of the club to escape the incredible din coming from the speakers, which appeared to be everywhere.
There were a few nominally attractive FL's outside and one kept trying to attract my attention. It's unlikely she was anything but a FL as my 'you so handsome' days are in my rear view mirror.
The club gradually filled up with a mixture of expats, random FL's, fat western girls, and what appeared to be quite a few rejects from the extras cast of Hangover II, plus an odd contingent of Iranians or Pakistanis strutting their stuff like it was 1999. By 11:30, I was over and out and slipped down the elevator. Incidentally, I realized while on their outdoor veranda that the Citadines Hotel sits directly across the street. Finally, I decided to check out Sugar Babes a bit more closely. I stood outside peering into the abyss when an attractive blond came over and said the entry fee was 300 baht with one drink included. Since you can't see what's going on inside that was one investment I was not prepared to make.
After this cruise, I returned to my favorite haunts in 7/1. I will be posting a report in next few days.

But I think you may have had a bit better luck if you had hit them in different order: Oskars to start at 10:30, Levels after midnight, and them Sugar for late-late night (2 AM and after).
Oskars is good earlier then seems to fill up with guys as the girls leave for Levels. The other two don't really get started until very late. As for Levels I am sorry for not warning you that there is a lot of dross that you need to wade through there. But gems can be found.
I too am losing patience for the late night club scene. But, like, John Dillinger said when they asked him why he robbed banks -- "Because that's where the money is" -- I suffer through the Clubs because that's where the best FLs congregate.

"Incredible Din" is very typical for a lot of Thai discos, and even music venues like Bangkok Beat has a band too loud and distorted to be really enjoyable for old fuddy duddies like me. My problem is I cannot communicate in extremely noisy environments. Inability to separate sound from different sources. I don't like to monger extremely late at night anyway, rarely going much beyond midnight.
So in general I do not use discos. I have tried them but did not enjoy them much. One girl's favorite disco was one of the very worst for me. (it's not music, it's just thump and noise.
Some friends accompanying me to a bar like Crazy House also complained the music was too loud making the place too unpleasant for them, and therefore they left pretty quickly. I tolerate the loud music at CH (less loud than a disco) but be carefully not to sit in front of thumping speakers these days. The choice of music is far more acceptable to me though, than what we find at the discos. The DJ still spoils it a bit by turning up the thumping bass too much, and blending tracks a bit much.
I guess guys wanting freelancers may find those on the street and in beer gardens, etc. Are not of the highest quality, so then it may be necessary to tolerate clubs or discos.
So its amusing to read your complaints about the incredible din, as I find that applies to so many places in the same way. You just are not cut out to be in those type of places, is my assessment. G Clubs may be much quieter and suit you much better, unless you are trying to save money, of course.
If me, I would look for girls in other places. Temporary bars on the street is a possibility, that I have not yet used extensively. Obvious drawback is that these places are trying to sell drinks, just like any other bar or disco. However, potentially may not chew up too much money and valuable time.

Quiet is the realm of developed nations and it is one of the main things I miss about home.

I am 4th floor), however sometimes hear the thump thump of sex bed in another room, yelling, door slamming is very common, and the GF particularly complains about someone living the floor above, clomping around his apartment incessantly presumably wearing heavy shoes. As I take shoes or sandals off, I go barefoot in the house and don't make much noise, and I can't imagine what the person above is doing clomping around so continuously. Probably a Farang, I guess. Good job with the 1500 offer. That's really what it should be. I have offered that amount
numerous times in BB and it's generally accepted, though sometimes begrudgingly. Virtually all are happy with 2000, which I have bid if I don't want to lose a certain (I. E. Hot) girl over 500 baht or if it's long term. A few weeks ago I offered a girl 2 k baht for LT, which she accepted. She had just arrived for a factory job and that amount equated to prob several days of work. The next week I texted her to come over but said I could only pay 1500. No problem -- she came right over for LT. Had a nice time with her both times and the baht difference did not seem to matter for her. Of course, she was not a hardcore pro and trying to supplement her meager factory salary.

For short term -- it's 1500 -- take it or leave it. I have never dropped money into their pocketbook but usually leave it centrally located so she sees it easily. I hate handing it to her directly. It cheapens the experience, at least for me.
The reason for the general price increase to 2000 baht, which girls in most venues seem to be expecting as a minimum is due, I believe, to the rising cost of living in Bangkok. But, if you stick to your guns, most times they will accept a lower amount. It's better than going home with nothing as your prospect did that night.Again, kudos for sticking to your guns. If more punters did this life would be far better for us.

I would say 2 k price is not due to a recent cost of living increase in BKK, and I have lived here for 16 years, but due simply to the fact that some dudes are willing to pay that. The economy in Thailand is going in the hopper. This will be a very rough year for them and workers in most sectors might experience pay cuts and perhaps even layoffs. A recent article stated that foreign investment was down 78% last years. Could mean an increase in FLs, as gals struggle to pay their ever mounting credit card debt. Should be some bargains to be had. Would be nice to see ST back to 1 k, which is still 10 times the min wage in this country.
