LOL. The only 3 times I tried to book girls on fiwfans was a few years ago but I never got past the clerk, dispatcher, pimp, traffic cop, booker or whoever it is you actually chat with on that site. Interestingly, I had simply disconnected my VPN previously and that didn't fix it even though I live in Thailand. Only setting my VPN specifically to Thailand fixed it. And I had been using a VPN set to USA location, Chrome and all the other potentially problematic settings for years with no issues accessing the fiwfans site until just this week.
Another weird and mysteriously related bit; just yesterday my sweet little university student regular live-in girlfriend jokingly complained on her Instagram page that she is suddenly receiving Fiwfans ads on her newsfeed and that she does not need or want them! LOL. No idea what that is about.
You have not been blocked! Just use a different browser and you will be able to use it again. If you had been blocked by Fiwfans, you will get a notice page hosted on Fiwfans, not a page like this.
I think it is a security feature adopted by Fiwfans, it won't work sometimes when you click on Fiwfans link from a different webpage like ISG. If it is Chrome/Safari (usually works in Firefox), just clear everything once and copy and paste the link in your browser, don't click on it.

Blocked again. Switched to Sydney Australia, No issues. So it is more about your region than just IP address. I do not want to experiment much since I now know how to leap over the blockage.

I have flown Turkish business class from the UK to KL and BKK a few times in the last 4 years. Yes, their prices are probably the best for business class to SE Asia from the UK but, for me, it is an indicative price for what you get. The in-flight service and the lounge in IST are very good but the business class seat from IST to KL / BK on the B777 is more like premium economy than business class. The B777 cabin is 2-4-2 layout and this is only possible due to how narrow the seats are, not comfortable. I last flew with them January this year and swore it to be the last time until they get a new business class seat.Thanks for that review. I was concerned with business class seat comfort even when I bought my November 2023 flights. My flights are a combination of 777 (2-3-2), A330-300 (2-2-2), and 787-9 (1-2-1 staggered with 2-1-2). None as bad as the 2-4-2 configuration that you had. YouTube makes the 777 and A330-300 look equivalent while the 787-9 looks a bit more comfortable.

I had this experience in JW Marriott, Jakarta. Day 1 in the spa, and day 2 had the same therapist for in-room massage and full service. I was surprised they offered it. I would infer most of the Bangkok 5 stars do too, given its a similar mongering destination. BUT I have not had experience of this in BKK.

Quick report from 4 day trip to Bangkok at the start of September. Thanks as always to all the posters on here for great information and reports.
Short trip so booked 2 nights on Soi 4 and 2 nights Soi 15 to be close as possible to the action.
Day 1: Arrived early and had time to kill before check-in, so went for an oil massage on Soi 8. Yes, all Sois were on Sukhumvit. It was such a short trip I had to stay in the one spot.
LT prices were OK for me, but I'm sure there is scope for negotiating if you have the skill and inclination. I've never had trouble crossing roads in BKK. Though have been nearly run over on the sidewalk by moped taxis.
I recommend waiting for the cars to stop at red lights because some try to run through to avoid a long wait at the lights. That just gets them a long wait the other side of the lights. Motorbikes and scooters may run the red light anyway. They squirm through the gaps.
There's usually someone else crossing with you so put them between you and the traffic.
Remember they supposedly drive on the left side. Motorbikes and mopeds drive every side.
Lcale1982 is right about the using a bridge if there is one. BTS stations can be used as bridges.

A lot of the main road has a fence along the certral reservation, so you can't get across. You do see people walking across the road through the gaps (or at the bottom of Soi 8), but I wouldn't recomend it.

Seems like it would be a waste of time for the ladies to spend time there and then leave alone.

I usually stay there if I'm only in BKK for 1 night and Thermae is my main target for the night. I stay in the larger rooms for 1500 per night. Rooms are larger than normal and it's clean. No time wasted going up and down and through 3 or 4 girls in a night. Japanese men will stay at Ruamchit, Silom area for Thaniya Road, and Sukhumvit Soi 33.

I stayed at Best Comfort multiple times. I really like the location, pretty close to Thermae, everyone was okay to walk there cept 1 lady who wanted 1 k more to walk there, no thanks LOL.
It is an older hotel, didn't really try out the gym or pool up top, but guessing no ones coming to Bangkok to workout, not those muscles atleast hah.
Free breakfast, I don't care for food so fine by me. Toast, butter, strawberry jam, rice porridge, chicken sausage, fried eggs, cereal (only cornflakes), fruit (apple). Milk, water, orange juice, tea, probably coffee don't recall seeing that though. Gave two bottle water daily which was nice.
Brought a lady almost every day, no problem. Get extra towels at front desk if needed. Liked the room size and has a big mirror above the headrest of bed and small mirror over the desk on side of bed. Had a couch too not too comfy but nice to sit there to chat w / the gal before the main event. Free parking, had Thermae lady come back another day and park there for LT =).
Most likely I'll stay there a third time as I like the close proximity to Thermae and pretty cheap, last month like 25 bucks a day after fees.
Con's like I said its older but fine for me, don't need anything fancy. First time I was there in Dec, had a couple mosquitos LOL so bought a zapper to kill them but this last trip 3 weeks and no bugs. I was on 2nd floor when I had bugs and 6th when I didn't, not sure if that matters. Also had issue w / shower last trip after a session we couldn't easily take shower cause the water pressure was like dead so the water just trickles out hah. Only happened a few times late at night probably cause a lot of people showering after a session, who knows? On the last few days I think I figured it out and you just need to keep the shower head on the top holder thingie and its fine. One thing I noticed about fridge is I think it turns off when you don't have the keycard on the wall. Didn't notice that first stint so maybe had a bad room. Yes, I will agree that sometimes he does un-hide the camera, in some of his other videos, it's clear he's taken the camera out and shooting, but on the streets, in that context, it's all touristy, it's all fine. He's making these videos from a combo of hidden cam and normal footage. Also, in one of his videos in Soi Cowboy you'll actually see a chick trying to cover her face with her hair, cause he's just using his camera out in the open, cause you can do that in Soi Cowboy. It's not against any policy to use a camera there, people take pictures there all the time. It's inside the bars that's a no go for cameras.

I remember last year when I did my reconnaissance of Thaniya, scoping out the chicks, knowing it's for Japanese big spenders with a whole lot of drinking, I didn't participate, but I wanted to take one photo, just one, so I went to what I considered to be a respectful distance from the all the girls and even the street itself, walking towards the BTS already, closer to the BTS than Thaniya itself and I mean pretty damn far, and from all the way there one of the mamasan's was screaming at me to not take a picture. I'm tellin' ya fellas. I was pretty freakin' far away. So this dude, he's all up close and personal with everyone at Thaniya, there's no earthly way the camera is exposed. He's hidden it like a pro. I'll find out the secret man, I will make this happen as well. I'm going to make this happen for myself. I mean dudes, going down this rabbit hole, I've seen youtube channels launched not 6 months ago, with nothing but videos of people walking around Bangkok streets, and they maybe average 1 k views, but as soon as there's 'nana', 'soi cowboy' or anything like that in the video title, the view count goes up to the tens of thousands. Some of these channels get well over 10k subscribers in less than a year. No fancy music, no titles, no effects, nothing. Just some basic editing. They're monetized at that point. Sure, in the beginning it's not anymore than a few hundred dollars a month, but by God, what a beginning. Keep uploading videos and the channel will only grow.
This is viable fellas, and one day, I'm going to be one of these douchebag digital nomad types too. One day you'll see your faces in one of my videos, but you'll never suspect it cause my camera's going to be hidden. Also you'd never guess it could be me, cause I'll just be another one of those fat, ugly old foreigner fucks you see all over Thailand. Pertaining to the same video, if you look at around 3:15, you'll see an old guy with a hat. Now imagine if that old guy was wearing a fanny pack, around the stomach area or even across the chest as a sling bag, you'd never guess in a million years that in the bag there was a 4k state of the art gopro recording everyone. Did you notice the girl following him from behind, don't think she's with him, but anyway, for a quick second she glances at the man capturing this footage. Look at her eye line, she's looking at the guy himself, not at the camera, where her eye is looking at is right above the camera. It's not that she's weirded out by a camera, she's weirded out by the fact that some guy is just standing there looking at her. As you see more and more of his videos, you'll notice almost no one looks directly at the camera. Any footage on youtube where the camera is visible to the people being filmed, someone will look right into the lens, making eye contact with the camera as it were, cause people in general don't like to be filmed anyway. What happens is people will notice the camera right away, look right into the lens, then turn away. Look at how he's doing it. This man is operating on a whole different level. Look at around 7:00, how is he getting this close to the chick, and she's got no clue? There's always a chance he's shooting at 8 K, and bringing it down to 4 K in edit, but I think it's more likely he's found some ingenious way to be able to even zoom in on the fly, while the camera is hidden. Truly amazing.
But out of respect though, you fellas won't have to worry, I would never capture footage inside a place like Thermae or the soapies or oilies, I've got too much regard and respect for our hobby to sully the girls or patrons like that. But in public spaces like the streets? It's all fair game there.

It always amazes me when someone complains that it's so time consuming to put in the effort to search, to read, when I'm sure they have the time to punt. What really gets me are people who do videos, hidden or not, but don't make it obvious where they are recording.
For some place that one has been to before, and is familiar with the surroundings? Sure, that's fine to leave it vague. But for people who are looking to get a lay of the land, it's entirely useless.
Half the times on these channels, I'm pausing it and looking up storefronts to try to get an idea of where they're at. Absolutely useless.
There is a nice guy in Pattaya who does bike rides in the evening, and he not only posts the route he took, but also a little note on the screen of which street he is on. Amazingly helpful. I haven't been able to find anyone who is doing something similar with Bangkok though.

Family friendly content rakes in the money, sexualized content does not. Even if this is just "walking around the streets" content, it gets lumped into categories that get way less $ per million views.
Also if you get enough flags, your entire account can be demonitized and taken down. Months of hard work, building a fan base, subscribers, etc. Down the drain. Sure you can create a new channel, but what happens when you run out of checking accounts for deposit and youtube flags your main accounts from receiving adsense revenue?
Are some of these creators making money? Of course. Are some of these creators making a comfortable living doing this? Probably not. Some of these videos have thousands of views, some have less than a hundred. It's a numbers game and it's grueling.

Just back from a short 1 week stay in BKK. Had a wonderful time. Visited Nana Plaza, Soi Cowboy and a few massage shops and enjoyed the short trip. In the mornings I did a few touristy things like visiting malls. The rains in the evenings in BKK are a bit of a downer at present. They can ruin your plans for the night.
I have taken a liking to one of the gogo bar dancers in Nana Plaza. I had bar fined her on my last visit once and again this time and also bought her a few lady drinks. Sometimes she is not available to come & sit down next to me as she has other patrons buying her drinks and I would be sitting alone along enjoying the views of the other dancers on the stage. But even though she was busy entertaining the other customers, she would be caught sneaking glances at me very often. Like constantly observing me in the bar and my moves. Anyone knows why? Surely she does not have a crush on me as I'm only a customer and not a Thai cassanova.
She had not come to work on one day & I bar fined another lady and she knows about it. They all seem to gossip among one another about to bar fined whom?, who bought who lady drinks, who came into the bar on what day etc etc.

Anyway it's not that hard to distinguish LBs. If not by their looks, there is still there voice, even for post ops.
In any case, if you still have a doubt, if you're located in a bar just pay her a drink with strong alcohol inside, like Sangsom with Coke (no tequila shots, insist on whisky). Tell them to put a good dose of Sangsom in the glass and make sure they know you're looking when they do it (you can also check the glass when she comes back with it, smell it, even taste it). The alcohol will make her lose her feminin manners and you'll see her manly behaviour coming back quickly.
If it's a street freelancer, if you still have doubts after takling with her, don't take any risk and skip her.
But the fear of bringing back an LB in Thailand is too hyped in my opinion, you don't need to stress about that.

The online maps help me locate places I've never been to before. The hotels and restaurants often have online photos or reviews. Clubs and bars have Facebook pages. And yes, I watch the videos. On another screen I have a Microsoft Word document open, so I can take notes or save links to particularly helpful reports.
I concede my systemic study might be a bit much for some guys. And I'm well aware that many of us are English Language Learners for whom the reading can be a heavy lift. But for me the research is a pleasant way to experience my holiday months in advance. When I run across a query from somebody who's done his due diligence, I'm happy to post something, and in doing so I can re-live past trips. Finally, when I touch down at BKK I don't need a complicated plan. My advance research allows me to go with the flow and take what comes, secure in the knowledge that I'm as familiar as I can be with the current state of play.

So having enjoyed 10 nights in Pattaya, mainly in Gents Clubs, headed to Bangkok a city I know quite well from many trips. On many previous trips I've pretty much concentrated on The area between Nana, via Thermae on Sukhumvit and onto Soi Cowboy, though in 2022 I did have fun on Soi 11 (Suk). This time I wanted to try something a little different, and decided that I would only spend 2 of my 5 nights in those old haunts and for the rest would head to Surawong / Thaniya / Silom area for a change. I was glad I did.
Stayed at various locations including the Okura Prestige very nice indeed though thought the cantilever pool would be the main attraction but it wasn't all that. The lobby and the rooms are superb. Jumped on the BTS to Phrom Phong to check out the "Stocking Spa massage". Appreciate there is a dedicated MP thread so will keep this short fancied the idea of a sexy massage from a hostess in suspenders well was disappointed the girls line up in the parade wearing tights / pantyhose and don't wear stockings with the thick tops at all. 7 girls to chose from and Sky was the best. Stunning slim brunette who made the journey worthwhile chose the Nuru option for 3500 and it was worth every penny everything included.
Decided to do my normal walk in reverse and headed to Cowboy. Absolutely rammed despite the torrential rain no surprise of course as this is rainy season. The overall noise volume has increased somewhat and I found myself asking what on earth I was doing there! Whilst I'm not old and I dolike some great music this was deafening. Conversations are therefore partly shouting. Awful. For old times sake took a beer in each of Baccara, Shark and Suzy Wong's but with one stand out 9/10 in Shark the offerings were poor.
On to Thermae same old You'll find someone to your liking but the format walking that circle isn't the best and the venue is looking tired and past it. Still jam packed inside so I suppose it works and the good news is that it's possible to have a conversation which I found almost impossible in Cowboy. In the many years I've frequented this bar I think I've only taken maybe 5 girls and as I left it I vowed not to return but my guess is I will do!
There are so many other options available in BKK that returning to one that doesn't do it for you isn't worth it.
Onto Nana which was almost a repeat of Cowboy. Tried Billboard and Spankys but nothing special and again the noise levels were prohibitive. Ended up in Hilary 2 also very noisy but good crowd and a decent freelancer made that trip worth it. Not before she begged me to go with her to Analisa massage a short walk away, to "meet her friend" in the hope of a threesome. The friend turned out to be a line up of 6 girls didn't select any but was surprised that 2 of them were 7/10+.
So my 2 nights on Sukhumvit were up and I found myself genuinely wondering if I'm just past the din of it all. I started to wonder why on earth I'the left Pattaya for this but I had work in Bangkok so could not avoid it.
Up and breakfast done headed to new hotel in Surawong the Marriot. It's a 20 min walk to Thaniya but wanted the exercise. Overall I much preferred the Silom / Surawong area. It doesn't suffer the same manic traffic as Suk. Loved the whole area around MahaNakhon and the shops / cafes in its lobby. Thaniya was actually great fun and because it is so wide, it's easy to navigate and without the horrendous booming music of Cowboy or Nana. The options in Thaniya are plentiful. The girls are nearly all in uniform and for sure they are trying to attract a Japanese crowd. As I am not Japanese I noticed that I wasn't getting waved or smiled at as much but I didn't mind that at all and during my 3 nights there no girl I approached rejected an advance. The Managers / mamasans are usually outside with the girls seeking to beckon you in. For most of the bars it is a standard service where you select the girl from outside (most are seated but some stand in lines) and take her to a room for drinks, karaoke if that's your thing and for the sex. Prices range from 2500 to 3500 including 500 or 600 for the room "hire". But there is an expectation you'll buy more than one drink for you and one for the lady at 300 each. It was clearly going to run up a 4-5000 bill which is fine. Yes I know I could get FS in one of the many local oilies for 1500 but the experience was great fun, a little odd in terms of being in an "entertainment" room but you soon relax into it. Alternatively you can go to the Sena club on Thaniya featured in a YouTube video and thought I'the check it out. The girls still sit on stools outside but upstairs there is a large pool table / darts (but no rooms to play in so you take the girl to the hotel if things are going well 3500 inc bar fine so entirely reasonable.
There are a few agogos in the Patpong night market street Kings Castle, Kings Castle II and III and Radio City across the road. Then Pink Panther on the street corner of another road close by. Usual agogo stuff not as full on as Nana / cowboy / or Kink or Windmill in Pattaya (wildest 2 I have been to this trip) but some very pretty options and again 3500 plus a bar fine of only 500.
Visited Octopus Fetish Club small backstreet Patpong Alley (which also boasts a few agogos) 1000 entry plus a drink the guy on the door waving a cane about wanted you to buy a 300 drink on top but relents to 100! Inside wow what a great atmosphere compared to Castle in Pattaya. 8 girls including a mix of ranges and a lovely Madam who is the bar owner who though older still looks really good. Guys butt naked being spanked, one paraded around as a dog in some mask thing (I had to bite a lip not to start laughing). This is not a place for the feint hearted or reserved took a seat expecting to be able to "watch" but you are quickly descended upon by the girls who want you to buy them ladydrinks at 300 and who very swiftly have more than roaming hands and want your clothes off there and then in public view (though its all very red / dark). Several guys were completely naked within 10 minutes of walking through the door and they do not struggle for customers here. That is because the level of "service" in the bar is swift and good. The lady drink 300 price is not cheap but comes with benefits! The girl expects to earn that drink. Two guys came in and bought a round of 5 drinks for 5 girls who then rapidly had their cocks out for blowjobs. It is possible to take girls upstairs to rooms for 3500. Very good vibe in the club.
Plenty of the usual oily options locally in street surrounding Patpong Night Market and usual services all on offer usually for 1000-1500. Got quoted 3000 by the best looking girl I found in one of them but whilst she wouldn't reduce to 1500 we did agree 2000. That was in one of the bigger Urban massage places was surprised they catered for sexual services as it looked more like an upscale massage place and indeed their massages were superb.
All in all another great trip mix of work and pleasure. For those wondering about a break from Cowboy / Nana this was a good choice though you might want to stay at Raya hotel or LE Meridian which are both immediately across the road from Patpong / Thaniya.

I'm just searching for a more relaxed experience. In Sukhumvit, I often feel rushed. Pattaya, on the other hand, offers varied experiences – from beer bars to gentleman clubs – and it feels more spacious with a diverse range of options.
I get that Bangkok / Sukhumvit is a bustling city, but everything seems limited to a few lanes and similar offerings. The predominant gogos and nurus all feel the same. And places like Soi Cowboy, feels like you're done exploring in a flash. His description sounds like they offer a more laid-back experience, so I want to see how Patpong / Thaniya suits me.

I want to share my quick trip report about the Black Caviar Executive Club. It was Thursday night, and I decided to visit the club after a light dinner at around 8 pm. I'm staying near Soi 11, a popular location, but the BTS Skytrain doesn't go anywhere near the club. I had to use Grab from my hotel. Surprisingly, the cab ride took nearly over half an hour due to the heavy traffic. However, when I left the club an hour later, the trip back only took ten minutes. The driver didn't seem to mind the destination, in the past some have declined.
Upon arrival, the club looked quite impressive, resembling upscale hotels, with a massive billboard outside displaying their clean but striking corporate branding. There was a decent-sized parking lot filled with several exotic cars.
Inside, the place was impeccably clean and could easily rival some of the more upscale casinos in Las Vegas. The layout was a bit confusing to me. The first floor, had a random assortment of seating and a bar, most of which were unoccupied. Bouncers in yellow sport coats, matching the club's theme, were scattered around. The real action was upstairs, where you ascend a grand staircase partially around a giant chandelier into another long room with a bar, partially separated seating for guest groups and another near the entrance for the talent.
Upstairs, I was greeted by one of the mamasans who introduced herself. I informed her that it was my first time at the club. She was super polite, offering me a brief tour. I decided to enjoy a drink and engaged in a quick conversation with her before finishing my drink. Going to back the talent, there were about 40 girls, everyone was attractive but there was definitely quite a bit of makeup and plastic. Looking at the price list, I could say most of the girls were around the $6-18 k. One in the front of the group had a light pink dress just barely holding up her nearly perfect fake tits with a special tag and was over $30 k. She was absolutely attractive, her tits were that good but I can't say she was worth that much to me. I went with someone in the back who held a softer smile in a sleek black dress who went by Jane.
Once I paid and got another drink it was off to the rooms which are right down the hallway. It's a bit darker themed but honestly similar to higher-end western hotels. Inside, there's no real view, not that you'd need one but it has a decent bed, spa, shower and working TV. There was a bit a language barrier but myself along with Jane had no issues using translation on our phones. She was a little nervous at first, so was I but after a bit that anxiety went a way but I could see how being a regular would help. Starting off we hit the shower, and filled up the tub. We had a serious problem with getting the temperature just right as it was always too hot or too cold. Either way, us playing around in the bath didn't last long and most of time was on the spent on the bed until the phone went off and our time was up.
Overall, it was a good experience but honestly it felt more "fancy" than better than other places not necessarily better. It was often better than anything you'd see in Nana Plaza or Soi Cowboy but not always. I'll really wish you could talk to the girls more before going picking one but I'll probably go again in the coming months and check out a few other different high-end parlors like Emmanuele, Maria, etc. to see what those are like. I still haven't been to clubs like The Pimp either.

Yes, news reports in Bangkok Post and other media sources confirm that Smooci, at least for the time being, has been drummed out of business. Then there's women just outside-some attractive-that would hustle very aggressively for a date. I took a couple of the older ones from the bar to my room I think they charged like 1000-1500 baht or so. One night I stayed until 2 am closing it seemed most of the ladies left alone. The whole scene didn't make a lot of sense to me; what's the purpose of the ladies going there if they don't leave with a date? There's plenty of men walking around browsing. Seems like it would be a waste of time for the ladies to spend time there and then leave alone.

Your questions:

-try Thai Friendly pre-trip (be upfront with girls about your intentions) and Thermae once you arrive to scope out girls in person. Note that the holiday GF can turn into a holiday nightmare halfway through the trip, and regardless, you will never be able to leave her in your room with your wallet / passport unattended without worrying.
2. Hotels no more than $100 total price.
-I recommend an Airbnb in the Asoke area; there are lots of nice units with no nosy front staff in this price range. If room and maid service are required, there will be hotels in the same area (be sure to check if they are "guest friendly" first); just don't pay less than $50 or the room will be dismal.

Oh boy! I can only do so much. Here's a sampling of my own thoughts:
-massage: most places with girls sitting outside and rates of about 300-400 be per hour will offer a HJ and maybe BJ for extra near the end of the massage; try the shops on Sukhumvit Soi 23, Soi 22 or the stretch between Nana and Asoke.
-gogo and strip: not my thing, sorry.
-BJ bars: Lolitas, Kaasalong, Duangporn's Haven and Wood for a grimy room and a willing girl to get on her knees and take it in her mouth when the time comes (800 B), and Seven Heaven for a more upscale CIM experience with a prettier girl ( 1400 B). It'll be like the way most of us explored Thailand back in the day before the internet and all that. The excitement, the adventures you'd be on, you'll never know what's around the corner. Frodo, it's something nuts when you step out the door, you'll never know where you'll end up, said Bilbo, something like that. I'd say use the usual amount of common sense when traveling, maybe don't bother too much with escorts, Thailand ain't Montreal after all. Do those things them young people do at the backpacker areas, with all that time, you never know who you'd meet, you might end up teaching English there and staying permanent. If you go in with too much research and way too much planned, it'll be less of a sex vacation trip and more kinda work again. Go with the flow, maybe stick with the oilies, if you're on a budget, maybe skip the soapies, and then nowadays with how much more pricey bar girls are, go to nana and cowboy for the atmosphere and drinks, and only once in a while pick a chick back. But if you've got game, and since you've got time, you're better off aiming for civilian chicks. Dude, I think if you have the time and funds to enjoy life in Thailand for 45 days, I think you should go in without too much preamble. It'll be like the way most of us explored Thailand back in the day before the internet and all that. The excitement, the adventures you'd be on, you'll never know what's around the corner. Frodo, it's something nuts when you step out the door, you'll never know where you'll end up, said Bilbo, something like that. I'd say use the usual amount of common sense when traveling, maybe don't bother too much with escorts, Thailand ain't Montreal after all. Do those things them young people do at the backpacker areas, with all that time, you never know who you'd meet, you might end up teaching English there and staying permanent. If you go in with too much research and way too much planned, it'll be less of a sex vacation trip and more kinda work again. Go with the flow, maybe stick with the oilies, if you're on a budget, maybe skip the soapies, and then nowadays with how much more pricey bar girls are, go to nana and cowboy for the atmosphere and drinks, and only once in a while pick a chick back. My trip is booked in two weeks, but I am yet to book a Hotel. I am astonished at the current prices on Expedia and Priceline. Thus far, I have always been lucky to find an affordable deal on any of those three 5 Stars (four if you count Center Point) between Nana & Asok. The Junior Suite in Hyatt Regency is currently going for $410 a night, that is $3 k a week, that is insane. I suppose demand is likely driving all this (On one hand uncle Powell wants to bring down inflation, the hot-hot economy, and contrarily in Bangkok it seems economy is going up and up fueled by the west. It is believed uncle Powell is done raising rates and now higher for longer will cut down on disposable spendings or better yet loose some jobs. But Bangkok tells a different story on the macro. Some one should send him the Bangkok Hotel prices chart for the last one year, it looks pretty steep to me. He might use it to increase another percent point this November. LOL.
Though not mentioned by the poster, the Google location of all three of these establishments can be found on Soi 23. Kokoro has 2022 prices pictured on their site — for the Nuru it's 7500 for two lassies at 90 minutes. Not cheap but based on his description it sure sounds fun!

I only know Pattaya NYE and if it's fireworks you want it's pretty unique. If you are on Beach Road near Central Festival you get to see 360 degree fireworks. In front of you along Beach road, to the left at Bali Hai Pier, to the right from somewhere around Dusit Thani, and behind you from 3rd Road (I have to say I was pretty impressed the first time saw them in 2015. Didn't seem as long a display when I watched them in 2022.
Advice. If you really want fireworks go when the Fireworks competition is on in the Summer. Around 4 nights of amazing extended fireworks displays.

The rule that applies here says that people who are new to the forum should respect the efforts of those who have taken the time to post useful information. At a minimum, that means doing your homework by reading a representative sample of old posts, which will usually provide a solid baseline of knowledge. If you make an effort and *still* have questions, netiquette dictates that you frame them specifically and ask them individually.
The classic example of what *not* to do: (A) Falsely claim to have "read the forum." (B) Ask for a tour d'horizon. "I've read all prior posts here regarding using a handgun for self defense, but I have some questions. What kind of gun should I buy? What's the best calibre? How does one carry concealed? Do the laws permit me to use the gun to protect myself? Can anybody recommend a dealer?"
You get the idea.
I'm not picking on Mr. Bear. He's just latest chap to wander into the forum and make a common mistake.
That said, I'll dispense a little advice here in the Bangkok forum. He should stay in a hotel near the BTS Skytrain Green Line, between stations E1 to E5. He should spend at least two nights checking out the go go bar scene on Soi Cowboy and at Nana Entertainment Plaza. He should take a look at the freelance girls who hang out in front of the Nana Hotel. He should check out the massage places on Soi 24. He should at least make a lap through Thermae some evening about 2100. I don't like to find girls online. But if he's so inclined, he should read the reports about ThaiFriendly and the escort services.
Old Bangkok Hands will know this barely scratches the surface. But it's a solid start for a guy on his first visit.

There are bad apples who behave badly irrespective of how look and how people assume where the person is from. I believe problem in Thailand is lots of Indians go there because of proximity and cheap fares and cheap living and cheap pussy. India is conservative and with LE problems not easy to have fun.
I believe to have a good time ignore the racial profiling and do your own thing. Thailand caters to everyone irrespective of which country they come from. If you are ignored in one place there are others who welcome you.

I've changed phones more times since getting Line than I care to remember and I've never lost anything during phone changes. I have iPhone, but I'm confident that Android has something equivalent. I do automated nightly backups via WiFi to iCloud and then about weekly I do a wired encrypted manual backup to my laptop using iTunes. Before I go to the phone store, the last thing I do is a manual backup to my laptop. When I get my new phone, I take it straight home and do a restore from my laptop. I can't remember every losing anything from any of my phone apps.So, I got it back. But a bit too late.
Line replied to my email request that I was permenantly banned due to the soliciting. Yes, they have access to our conversations and some of them were kinky.
But, I wanted to try again, I got a pop up that read I need to wait for another 14 days before trying again. I tried after 14 days and it worked.

Also don't hang out in a big group of other Indians. Actually the Thai girls are not racist per se as much as they want to maximize their chance of earning the most with as little work as possible. Indians are trained to bargain for everything while white people generally just pay up and Asians overpay. Thats the basic difference. I have seen Koreans offer 3 K or 4 K to street girls on Sukhumvit. Wouldn't you expect girls to flock to them? Even if only 25% of them do that, it sets up the reputation.

Three of us arrive at BKK at 00:20, just after midnight in mid-November. We are staying off of Soi 11, just north of Sukhumvit Road, and estimate our arrival between 01:30 and 02:15. That places us at Nana near closing time. How late do the freelancers typically work near Nana after closing? One of the travelers doesn't want to wait until the next day to partake. Thank you.
