Managed to get in a little bit of everything while in BKK.
#1 Bo from Mango via outcall. Got along well, great skills, first oily in a hotel room for me. 3500+500 tip.
#2 Visit to Livingstones. Nice enough place, but dead that night, and I ended up just chatting with a girl that did not really push the right buttons. Plus 700BF at 1am seemed too steep for a girl I wasn't into, so went home alone.

It's not boring when you can understand Thai. Because you are most probably the subject of their discussion. The only gogo giirls I take are ones that are recommended by friends who for whatever reason still seem to like gogo bars even though they have been in Thailand for years. It is a foolproof method and cost effective and very rarely disappointing. My friends are old pro's and have the girls all negotiated down to 2, 000THB for long time so I simply piggy back off that pricing too (to be honest I don't know exactly how they get the girls down to that price but all these guys have extremely high standards and don't go for less than the superstars).

Not sure I agree with you. You have more of a western conception of prostitution, which I don't think Thai people share. I've met many bargirls who fit Szyzgies description. They're doing it for the money, yes, but if they can get the money and also have a genuinely nice time and some sex they legitimately enjoy, then it's a double win for them. Many of them will happily go for a lower price with a guy they like over a much higher price with a creepy pushy guy.

Well let me tell you this, more often than not, WE are the reason why they act like this.
I have heard so many stories about guys:
- being violent.
- Being Aggressive.
- Having 1 more guy waiting in the Room.
- Trying to force them to do things they don't want.
- Agreeing to a price, then paying less or not at all.
The one they hate the most is guys ordering the girls to go to their rooms. And then no-show, not be there, not answer the phone. One time a girl told me a guy wanted her to meet him at the Airport and then go to the hotel together. She took a taxi there and waited 2 hours. The guy did not show up. She messaged him and he said he was tired and went to the hotel alone to sleep. She had spent close to 800 thb Taxi.
So not she does not trust people and asks for money before she does anything. And guys will be saying "is she crazy? To ask for money upfront?"
There are things for us that are "little" but that make a big difference for some of the girls who are Poor and do this to help their children or Families.
One girl said her mum needed Blood Dialysis and Change every month so she would sleep for money to pay the hospital.
There are Sick and Crazy people out there, some of them read the Forum, silently and then go on to take advantage of these girls. These are the guys that we do not see or hear about but they are here and read the Forum.

so true. i think it is important to understand one thing. it is that those girls are humans in the first place. hence they deserve to be treated so i. e. with respect as one should show to any alive human being by default regardless of anything (unless that human is acting aggressively or disrespectfully himself). only then comes "prostitute", or "non-pro" or "office worker" or whatever. i hate people who show arrogance or disrespect to others (regardless of who they are) owing to their actual (or even presumed) social status. people who act disrespectfully towards others for no reason are what i would call bad-mannered or simply a "wankers". what is even more sad is that some people may know how to be polite and act so when surrounded by their family, friends and co-workers while turn into unmannered and filthy animals when not being seen by their peers. this is a problem of human's inner culture and there is nothing in the world i hate more than such double-faced individuals.

I don't want to sound like a wanker but this is my profile just so that it is clear and to provide context.
I am 39 years old, run 10km every day day in Lumpini Park. 181 cms tall. 75 kgs. They are great girls and both have great jobs and are moving quickly up the ladder through hard work and determination. They both now own condos in Bangkok and live within their means and help support their parents as needed which is rare. The parents would rather their children are happy and can take care of themselves until such time as they really need help when they retire. That is self respect and I respect that.
2. The woman in the condo opposite mine is from Ubon and her parents are dirt poor and she is as dark skinned as coal. Up until 8 years ago she spoke not a word of English and had a low level office job. She scrimped and saved and starved herself to learn and study English which she now speaks fluently. Never sold her body or even thought of any such thing. Today she is the manager of one division of a multinational insurance company and makes 200, 000THB per month. That is self respect and I respect that.
3. A friend from Sisaket who had the bravery to disown her family as they constantly bled her dry. Worked 3 jobs to save enough money to buy dresses in bulk and then sell them on to buyers in Thailand. Now has a very successful business and her own condo and car and takes regular overseas vacations. Never sold her body to do it and was brave enough to confront reality. That is self respect and I respect that.
All of the above girls come from dirt poor backgrounds but rose above adversity through hard work, determination and self respect. There are thousands of Thais like this including all the girls in our office who don't own BB's or ipads or expensive clothes and don't have nose jobs. They live within their means and are nice 'normal' girls just like anywhere else in the world.
The girls selling their bodies are brought up with an inherent lack of self belief and lack of self respect and their families are happy for them to sell their bodies so that brother Somchai can have a new motorcycle, the family can have a new TV or worst of all the family back in Nakon Nowehere can have a nice shiny 4 wheel drive in the driveway to show face even though no one in the family can drive it. If you spend your whole holiday in the tourist areas of Bangkok then these are mostly the people and children of these families that you meet. I feel sorry for the girls as they are part of a system that breeds lack of self respect for material gain. In retrospect it may be fair to say it is not that I don't have respect for the girl but for the system they come from. The vast majority of Thais are hard working people who want the best for their children and are prepared to work hard to give them the best. I regret to say that the girls you see in bars and freelancer joints come from lazy families who are happy for their daughters to sell their soul in the belief that it is for the better good (giving the family honour and face through material belongings). It is a great shame for Thailand and upsets many Thais that it is this section of Thai society that many foreigners base their judgements on.
Again without meaning to sound like a wanker, I don't think you can truly understand Thailand until you work here every day amongst every day Thai people instead of having only exposure to this minority section of Thais that care only about material goods and are happy for their daughters to sell their souls.
So don't get confused into thinking they are turning you down out of self respect or because they want wonderful sex! They are waiting for a guy who will come quickly, not be too vigorous and will pay the most and hopefully have a small penis! They didn't used to do that :)

For my second and third (last) evenings on Soi Cowboy I look into different bars. As my memory is a bit faint, there may be some small errors here, also for some of the bars I just look onto them quickly. In general I like Soi Cowboy, even though I have some negative comments also.
OVERVIEW:
Lucky Star / Long Gun: disappointing after the the reviews I've read beforehand, boring show and unpretty girls. But I may have been unlucky with the timing.
Rawhide: ok, but nothing special.
Five Star and Apache: small places, ok. Outside one of them a girl is desperate to get me in. A bit annoying when they grab your arm and hold it.
Deja Vu: now it's getting better: a bigger place with more girls to choose from, but I am not very impressed.
Tilac: a large place, mixed quality. Some nice girls her.
Kiss: this place looks good at first. Only beautiful girls and easy to find a place to sit. But: after a while I get the impression that the girls here are uptight, none of them looks at me, and I cannot see any other customer with a girl. All this a sign of bad attitude, but I might be wrong. Correct me then! Also they have these irritating blinking light.

Stayed at Hotel Nana last night. This place sucks. The front desk staff is really shitty. Finally broke my Bangkok cherry. I don't know how to explain to you guys how valuable this website and your inputs have been. Thanks to all for the posts and info. The concept of NSA casual sex doesn't really exist in Thailand, because thai men who simply need to be satisfied on a purely physical level have plenty of brothels and massages available. The exchange rate at the airport is poor compared to what you can get in town. For that reason, when you arrive, you should only exchange enough for initial ground transportation. $20 should cover the cost of a taxi from the airport to most Bangkok hotels.

Cynical it may sound, I guess it's going to be good for us over the next few months in a sense of decreased tourist inflow from Japan which, hopefully, means less crowded bars and less attitude from the girls. Any way I spend a grand total of 3 minutes downstairs, because I am told I can smoke upstairs. So make my way up and realise is much nicer here anyway. I sit at the bar and order a beer. After taking care of my bank account opening, I decide to broaden my horizons beyond Nana and check some MP for the first time (been in Asia for 10 years, but haven't mongered for long).
From my research in this forum. 2 names often popped up for the MP with the hottest girls: Amsterdam and Nataree. Believe it or not, I like hot girls, so those are on my list for the day. I'll give detailed directions since those were missing when I researched.

The part that is missing in this discussion is that Thailand is controlled by people of Chinese heritage primarily centered in Bangkok. This group controls the money, the military, the media; while some members control the supply of illicit goods, (eg, women, fake goods, yaba, etc.), delivered to the Thai market (and beyond).

So I guess we must take advantage over that short period which should be the next few months and show those arrogant girls who are the real bosses.... at least until the Japs with their short dicks and big wallets come back :). I for one would look at it another way. If SOL had the same layout as any of the other GoGo's, there is no way you would get drinks and BBBJ's at the same price.
