Yes, $30-$40 gets you 15 minutes in an impersonal Soho walk up (and I have never found anything under $200 in the USA) but in London $150 / hour will get you an unintelligible EE girl.
So getting anything for an hour for under $100 must be seen as good value!

That's not to say that all Pegasus girls are better quality than all the less expensive options, but the average is much higher. Of course, one might find one girl in the budget category who is better than one of the Pegasus girls, but in general, there were lots of stunners at Pegasus. I like Maya of Pegasus because of her intellectual level. She is a student during the day time. It was fascinating talking with her. In general, you don't find a bar girl or massage girl that has the same intelligence level and the same beautiful face and flawless body. For me, it was woth the 9, 000 baht to be with Maya. However, for those who just want straight sex and don't care about a pretty face, a great body or an interesting conversation, there's no reason to go to Pegasus. Depending on each one eyes, the visual quality can be paid with no bad surprises later (unless there is something hidden underneath the clothing). Yes, I do agree that the diversity is fine and good. There are just different venues. Well I just got done with my trip to Thailand. This was my second time visiting the country. It was just as fun and exciting as my first trip and I am already looking forward to my next trip.
I will try to recount my trip and add all the details that might help someone on their adventures to Thailand.

Anyway the guy picked me up after exiting the plane and rushed me through the whole process, I exchanged some cash, got my self a TRUE phone Chip which they were handing out free, put 300 Baht of credit on it and was in a taxi heading to the Majestic Grande in no time.
This was my second time staying at the hotel and you really can't beat it for the price and location. I paid 3000 Baht for a deluxe room, the regular rooms go for 2700 Baht. All reservations were made on the Internet as they are much cheaper, got all my stuff sorted and was checked in and in my room by 11 AM.
Now to get to the good stuff. I walked around the street next to NANA entertainment complex and saw all the bars that were written about on this forum such as Morning light, Hillary 4 and so on. It was too early to go in so I just explored my neighborhood for a bit, bought some stuff at the 7-11 and headed back to the room for a shower and a look at my maps and directions for the list of things I wanted to do.

For quite a long time I've been walking the Sukhumwit freelancer stretch and realizing there are only leftovers, no notable new arrivals (girls who used to work before in the good times, and fewer of them as days go by, better quality ones quitting faster than the dregs).
Bargirls are expensive and not a great value anymore. Two drinks, a barfine and a 2000 baht ST easily come out to $100, which is a basic hooker quickie price virtually anywhere (in Amsterdam RLD, a session is 50 Euro, cheaper). It used to be the case that in Bangkok Farang-oriented scene you'd get a far better service than elsewhere, but that is no longer the case (to be fair, it's still better, but not dramatically).
There exists the 400-800 low-end Thai-oriented scene, with girls looking better than most Sukhumwit freelancers & bargirls, but that's almost always the strict wham-bam-thank-you-mam prostitution which exists the world over, with BJ being a negotiated extra and leisurely GFE impossible.
Pattaya lives on, however, and while the Beach Road freelancers do not look all that amazing, they still provide a very decent basic service, tend to be friendly and available for extended-stay arrangements, and are a great value at 500 baht. It used to be the case that freelancers in Bangkok and Pattaya were similar service-wise (but there was a rougly 2x price difference) , but that no longer holds. For a serious monger with the option of going to Pattaya, there is no point even looking in Bangkok anymore, except for specialist establishments (like Mango or Tulip) , or very expensive better-looks, average-service places (Rachada massage parlors, G-clubs etc).
Day 2 wasn't as eventful as Day 1. I had a friend coming to join me for the rest of the trip next day early morning so I didn't want to go all out. In the afternoon I wanted to give DR. BJ a try, headed over to the street and walked in to the shop. The lady working there called all the girls and about 10-15 girls lined up. For years free lancers were my bread and butter, but I have just about given up with the poor quality of service that is out there. In a customer / hooker situation a question arises as to how far the experience progresses before the customer decides he's not getting what he was promised and more importantly whose fault that is. After reading 2 days back I can not realy cope to many statements. I have limited exp in ST but I use mostly Beergarden (BG) for noonfucks (and ST's). We have all had disappointing experiences but personally I always pay for whatever I get eg 500/1000/1500 even if it wasn't a great HJ / BJ / FS. I have been in Nana the past three nights and I have seen many LB hanging out around the parking lot and in the street in the area. It is not hard at all to pick them out, for two reasons. One, most of them look "supra feminine" and since they are tall and lanky they have more of the leggy western body than local thai girls. What are the best hotels you guys have visited and can recommend a soon to be going to BKK traveler? Preferrably near the whole Nana / Soi cowboy area on Sukhumvit Road. I know there are tons of information to google for, but I don't want the recommendation of an average tourist but from you, fellow mongerers. Anyway. The hotel I'm looking for must be / have:
1) Clean! Really dislike nasty hotels with bugs, old / broken furniture, disgusting bathrooms etc. So cleanliness is up high in the priorities.
2) Air condition that has several steps / settings, not just Antarctic or Mordor.
3) No issues / fees with hotel desk regarding bringing girls up to the room.
4) As cheap as possible. Max 1000Bt / night.
These are not must have, but rather nice to have:
5) Food service.
6) Massage serviceNext to President Place is Grand President. I allways use this one. Here you can have a deluxe suite (50sqm) with own kitchen and big fridge. These suites runs from 2200. 2800BHT. I like to have my freedom and I get that from beeing able to store some food and drinks in the fridge. Even sth just heat up some easy microwavefood (as I am in Thailand to monger not exploring the cusine, hehe). Bathrooms also nice and clean but a little bit old though.
The only time they look strange at you here is if you don't bring a girl back and in the suite department you can take as many girls you like back no one would care. So they are realy GF friendly.

I usually take the Chinese pharmacy closest to soi 15 where I know Cialis is genuine and stocked at low temperature (above 27°C it goes bad). For Viagra they also sell Kamagra, same active ingredient, an Indian copy.

It's available on the street but I get the liquid packets from a bar on Soi 3 in Sukhumvit called The Tavern. It's run by an American. Great little place to watch American football and get a good breakfast.The Tavern is on Soi 4, not Soi 3. It's not far from Jool's, Hanrahans, etc.

Most of that takes place between Soi 22 and Soi 4 on Sukhumvit. Soi 78 has to be around a 30 minute taxi ride if you don't hit traffic. If you do, you can feel yourself aging while waiting. There is the Sky Train of course which is much faster but my guess is most "dates" will not appreciate going back with you on the Sky Train. And many will be unwilling to go that far afield under any circumstances because it costs them time and money to get back.

I can't be 100% sure but normally the Soi number is after Street name.
