Harold444 is what Jackson called a "serial antagonist", years ago, when Jackson stilled cared about the forum. Besides the fact that most of Harold's posts are replies and have no content at all he is just enjoying that people react to his stupid nonsense. He does not know much about Thailand. The best what readers can do is to simply ignore his posts or add him to their ignore list. And DON'T REPLY AT ALL. If he does not get any attention he will disappear. Also those people who have put him on their 'ignore list' are missing out massively. His reports on his current trip are comedy gold.

A month in Bangkok, he visits Rainbow 4 nearly every night and he's had just one 50 minute short-time so far. He describes the lucky girl in question as his favourite (in his words '7 months of adoring her and paying good baht for the privilege'). Mr Prolific bar-fines her and heading back to his hotel he remarks to her that if she continues to put on restrictions (apparently she 'cut off all access to her nipples') he will be 'ready and willing to barfine number 84'. I'll hand over to Harold to describe how it panned out: "She stopped cold in her tracks. In the taxi all of a sudden she wasn't the pleasent girl she was 10 minutes earlier. This is where I think I found out why she reacts the way she does sometimes. She is a low self-esteem kind of person."

Hi all, I'm new here but thought I'd share this info.

A few months ago I visited BK, nana and cowboy. Good times, but was in a bar in Nana when I spotted to young looking girls dancing. They bothe had numbers. I'm quite familiar with asian girls and when I see a young one I'm pretty good at telling roughly how old (roughly for the purposes of not ending up at the hilton that is!) These 2 looked suspect. So I call another dancer over buy her a drink and get chatting. I ask her how old the girls are becuase to me they seem young. Without any sense of guilt or shame or concern she says one is 16, the other 17. These girls are showing their stuff off under black mini-mini skirts, no pantys. Guess even school girls need Iphones these days.

Head to another bar, same thing 15 and 17. These 2 didn't have number tags on though and weren't panty-less.

It was only after I got back around the same time that a well known thai expat website author also commented on the apparent use of very young girls here. So buyer beware! Anyone know if this is still happening?

The video is amazing. From what little is shown, the American seems to be the aggressor even though the Thai is wielding the machete. Trayvon Martin - George Zimmerman Thai style. The Thai will definitely lawyer up and claim self defense even though he had to go to the trunk to get the machete which indicates premeditation 1st degree murder or manslaughter at the very least. Although nothing justifies this murder, I think the American is partly to blame for his untimely demise. He seems to have made a series of bad moves one right after the other: #1 Never show your anger or disgust and never lose your cool with a Thai national. Keep a stiff upper lip and stay above the fray. #2 Just give the guy the baht and get out. #3 Never throw anything at a Thai or get physical unless there is absolutely no alternative and no escape. And #4 When the Machete made its appearance, the American should have placed a couple hundred bhat on the ground and given the Thai the Wei sign to show he, the American had no weapon and wanted to go in peace. #4 is a little murky since we do not have video of the beginning of the altercation. At this point, the Thai may not have given the American any choice but to stand and fight or the American may have become incensed that the Thai was threatening him with a machete. In any case, The American must have been drinking or something. He really lost his cool and look what happened; he contributed to his own death. Very sad. Although we do not know everything, it looks like it all could have been avoided.

about 5 months back i was walking on soi 6 towards soi 4 and about 60 yards ahead i could see 2 elderly farangs and a thai gf have to rush across the street so that a taxi turning on to soi 6 did not hit them. one of the guys had words for the taxi driver. they continued to trade words as they walked towards me and the taxi slowed down to a crawl to keep abreast of the farang. my reaction was that trouble was brewing and the farang should just keep his mouth shut even if he was in the right. they pass me and 10 seconds later i hear a wretched scream from the gf and turn around and see that the taxi driver had snuck behind the farang (easily over 70 years) and smashed in his head with a tire iron. the farang lay crumpled on the sidewalk bleeding profusely and the driver scooted back into his taxi and drove away. this was done right in front of the sukhumvit grande where a bunch of taxi drivers wait for their suckers and they all gathered around the guy on the ground pointing fingers at him and taunting him as the gf was screaming. surprisingly they didn't kick a farang who was down and unconscious. i have seen that before. free kick time on farangs. it could be a popular tv show here. some times you get a scary disturbing peek into what so many thai's really think of us.

And no, the answer is not western union money transfer because while money can move from Thailand to India, vice versa is not possible.

Jokes aside, did he contact his embassy or consulate? If his family can bring some money to the Foreign Office at home, the local embassy can pass it on to him.

If you have a credit card (AmEx, Visa) you can get it replaced within a matter of days by contacting the local office of said card. It's happened to a friend of mine, so I know it can be done. If one's passport is stolen, one contacts one's embassy and they'll assist in obtaining a replacement.

This whole story reeks of bullshit, no offense intended.All my credit / debitcards and its providers will provide me with first emergency cash guaranteed within 24hrs or as soon as first official trustable bank opens (so in reality faster than 24hrs). Secondly they will replace my card in "distress" with a new one no matter where I am in the world (atleast in 1 and 2 world countries). But maby Indian bank / moneyrelations are a bit more conflictful I would not know. But based on the post here, so it seems.

My embassy don't handle moneyissues for its citizens whatsoever as a mainrule. There are exceptions but loosing money, beeing robbed is not one of them. So if this is not some sort of well uorganized scam I wish this dude the best of luck.

Saw some videos of Nana parking lot freelancers on the Internet. The video was recent and many of the freelancers looked attractive. My question is what are the ST / LT rates (do they even go long time?). And do thy usually give good service or are their many con artist amongst them?I will answer your question only because I don't want you going there not knowing the rates over paying and then driving up the price for the rest of us. Short time rates for ALL free lancers is 1000 Bhat and long time is 1500, I never felt the right connection with any of the free lancers so I have never taken any for long time. But they are ok for a short time release.

Relax guys! Got a friend in S'pore to Western union me some money that should make do. No, I have not been robbed (least of all at gunpoint). Ijust was stupid enough to keep all all my cards in the same wallet, a wallet that got picked. I now realize the importance of having my account in an international bank where they guarantee to replace my cards in any Tier-1 city within 24 hrs. My credit card is master card but my debit card is visa but still struggling to get that replaced. Its good to be circumspect / cynical but I never asked anyone for money. Just a modus operandi for transferring it to BKK. My passport is fine and so am I in an Admiral Premier room.

Now back to point, the glass box girls in Nataree are at 2k for 2 hrs (I took one yestd before taking a look at the ones inside). How much are the girls inside (on sofas / chairs)? They are smoking hot! I was told 3k to 5k for 90 mins.

Went there again yesterday evening. This time took the subway to Huyakwang and it was much faster. Headed straight to the girls on sofas. 2600bht for 90 mins for most of them. Friday night Rainbow 4 vs Baccara.

My Asoke hotel at 21,000 baht per month is absolute gem. I thought for a while there this is the one. Problem is its not the one due to the fact I'm a Nana guy. After first 30 days was over I should have moved to a Nana located hotel.

My attendance at Bacarra is very good. Hotel within 4 minutes walking distance.

My attendance at NEP very bad. I'm not within 4 minutes walking distance.

If you Nana guy stay in Nana area hotel. If you Soi Cowboy guy stay in Asoke area hotel. Where you stay does affect where you go.

I'm so under budget its unreal. Its all because I'm away from where I spend the most money. I can save money when I'm in America. I come to BKK to have fun and spend, kinda ironic.

ISG members probably account for less than 10% of the total number of mongers in Thailand at any given time and that's being extremely generous. I think if we all went around clutching our manifesto from the price police we would be unstoppable. However, I do have friends who are Austrian Jews. It was very sad to go through a family photo album with them for the first time and learn that almost everyone in the family born before the late 1940's died in a concentration camp.

More observations.

I saw That Bacarra barfine I had the other day, her number is 066. She actually came up to me as if everything went fine. LOL. In her mind I bet everything went perfect and she wanted me to barfine her again. LOL.

Cefle is on the second sub soi off 33. Same soi as the Office bar which did have a sign on the corner of the sub soi. Also on 33 just before the corner of the sub soi on 33 is a place that does a good massage with no extras. Directly across from tenderloins restaurant.

If Cefle is busy I go the the other when in town. Just remember it is hard to get in on the weekend as the japanese in the area book them up pretty well. Now lets assume they are still there, they were as of last winter.

I'll soon be transferring flights in Bangkok and will have about 18 hours layover from early AM until about 9PM in which to play.

Many of us have heard a Thai girl say she has had a bad experience with a Thai man and now only wants to see farangs. Whether this is true or not is another matter.

Like you I have heard stories of Asian girls being dragged into virtual slavery by a man from this or that Asian country. I've rarely heard of a man from N. America or Europe doing this. In San Francisco it is well known that there are Asian girls, particularly Koreans, working as sex slaves who are captives in the MPs. The trade and these MPs are run by Asians.

There is no doubt that generally people from the USA tip more generously than people from any other country. We expect to tip workers in service industries.

Taking American kids as an example is not a good one because that is another very self-centric country without a good educational system (in the public system at least). Any of our magazines and newspapers dedicate ample sections and retrospectives to international issues, theirs don't. We are teached, at least some non-local history, they don't. In the 70s, during the wars in SE Asia, people demonstrated or had to go to war or took the refugees permanently, Thai did nothing of that. 99. 9% of Thai people have no interest whatsoever in other countries beside some football and music. Compare to the Western world where people goes to learn foreign languages, art or cousine just because a personal interest.

In my opinion the price and quality can't be beat. I understand guys on tight budgets need to be careful with their baht and worry that others are screwing things up for them; but its a free market and visitors recognize sex in Bangkok is one of the best bargains on the planet. And to get an experience like the best girls in Bangkok provide costs a small fortune in Europe and North America.

For comparisons, I just got back from a trip to San Francisco where I had a few sessions at an Asian MP close to Union Square; five sessions with three different ladies. All were Thai. Two were 8+. The third was a 9+ (no kidding). So these ladies were better looking than the vast majority of Bangkok SW, but a little older, probably around 30. I live in Belgium and let's say I take a sex holiday in Germany, driving in my car to the various FKKs, party- and swingerclubs. I'm in SE Florida as I write this post. I remember Miami in the early 1960's. It was beautiful. Now it is crowded and ugly, and most people living here still seem to love it.

Actually, I think Bangkok is down right ugly too; with bits of beauty embedded in it; and it is dirty and congested. Though it is visually ugly, I still find Bangkok to be exotic. Thai food in Bangkok is amazing. I love being able to buy food from a street stall, sit on a plastic chair at a little plastic table on the sidewalk and eat delicious freshly cooked food. The fact that I have to stare at my feet while I walk so I don't twist an ankle on the uneven, broken sidewalk is a nuisance; and narrowly missing walking into the pointed end of a rod that is sticking from a post at eye level and projecting into the space about to be occupied by may face is more than a nuisance. Yes Bangkok has it's problems, but I sure look forward to my next visit.

I'm in SE Florida as I write this post. I remember Miami in the early 1960's. It was beautiful. Now it is crowded and ugly, and most people living here still seem to love it.

Actually, I think Bangkok is down right ugly too; with bits of beauty embedded in it; and it is dirty and congested. Though it is visually ugly, I still find Bangkok to be exotic. Thai food in Bangkok is amazing. I love being able to buy food from a street stall, sit on a plastic chair at a little plastic table on the sidewalk and eat delicious freshly cooked food. The fact that I have to stare at my feet while I walk so I don't twist an ankle on the uneven, broken sidewalk is a nuisance; and narrowly missing walking into the pointed end of a rod that is sticking from a post at eye level and projecting into the space about to be occupied by may face is more than a nuisance. Yes Bangkok has it's problems, but I sure look forward to my next visit.I, too, find BKK to be the "show with everything but Yul Brynner." I hate it and enjoy it in equal measures. I will never miss having to keep one eye on the ground to avoid holes and the other up to avoid having my forehead speared by an awning pole. But I miss the wonderful street food every day. The smells, the traffic, the beggars, the beautiful chicks on the Skytrain. They all combine into an interesting sensory overload.

Bangkok is a great place to live. So much to offer and Thailand has wonderful things to see and do. Traveling about the country here is very inexpensive as well and once you get out of BKK the people are delightful. Learn a bit of Thai and you will have a wonderful retirement.

Been here for a decade as an expat and the bars, massage, the whole scene gets old very fast. I never liked the bars to begin with but now you have to really drag me there. I find it funny after just having learnt that going cheap is going sour I find the previous posts on this thread. I'm starting to understand why. It's about investment. At home that would be predominantly a investment in time. Being here only for a couple of days the investment has to have a number on a piece of paper with the King on it.

So what happened. The tuktuk driver in front of my hotel helped me out yesterday for a small fee and told me if I need 'boom boom' I could call upon him. So I decided to give it a chance. He dropped some prices going from 1500-2500 bht for all night. Being on a backpacker's budget that seemed appealing. First mistake.

'Mike' took me to a place in an alley just behind the Bamrungrad International Hospital. It looked bad from the outside but knowing that even Tulip is supposed to look terrible from the outside, I decided to go inside. Did I mention it was around 23:30? Second mistake.

The girls inside were 4-6. 5 max, from my perspective. But being from a country that has the reputation of giving residency to millions of cheap bastards, I decided to go for it if I could drop the price. It dropped from 3000 to 2200 after a tough bargain while the girl I already chose was waiting impatiently for at least 5 minutes until the deal was sealed. Third mistake.

If they are taller and slim they can look like lady boys. Most have flat or saggy asses. I find many have overly round or puffy faces. Less than 5 in a hundred of Chinese girls look good to me. Better looking Chinese girls tend to come from Singapore to my taste.

Why would you compare Thai girls to monkeys? Monkeys have a lot of hair and very wrinkly skin and lacking flesh on the face. I am not keen on very flat noses or nose jobs that could be then thought of as monkey like, if you really stretch the imagination.

Maybe its a naughty demeanour that would make us think of a monkey.

I am getting great advice from go-go bar staff that know me well, and even get advice from other girls. This advice is usually more valuable than what we get at Soapies from papasans / mamasans.

In the bar we a lot of time available to properly sus-out girls, which ones are fun, before making a decision. How can this result in picking out generally bad performers? Very few, if any, lesbian show performers turn out to be poor performers in the Hotel room.

A lot of the latest posters touch the real nerve regarding having a blast in BKK. It should be a "walk in the park" realy and on my behalf it almost allways is (bare once again in mind I in general do not visit GoGo, BeerBars, MP`s). I am puzzled. You could be living in Beijing, Shang Hai, or Guangzhou.

Personally I find a very small portion of Chinese girls to be really attractive, and very white skin is not a requirement. I find that many Chinese girls have a very straight figure lacking curves. If they are taller and slim they can look like lady boys. Most have flat or saggy asses. I find many have overly round or puffy faces. Less than 5 in a hundred of Chinese girls look good to me. I can't even agree with that. There are a lot of dud performers in the Soapies and Oilies unless going to very special places or with your regular girls.

I guess it is time for a roundup of my experience of Bangkok. Since I have stuck entirely to the tried and tested trails partly because of the fact that it was my first trip and partly because I managed to loose all my cards on the second day itself, I will stick to a few topics rather than a day by day account. Also, a big thank you to the forum members who helped me plan the trip.

Soapy vs Nuru: Tried both and in my opinion Nuru is the clear winner. The slippery slide at all possible angles with a girl was fun. First up I took the 2 hour one for at Dr. BJ Nuru at the end of Soi7/1 because they mentioned that the 2 hour rooms have standard beds along with the sliding mattress. But I realized that one hardly uses it and the 2000bht rooms more than suffice. The selection is much wider there after 5pm and first up I landed there at 11 am and there were only 3/4 girls to choose from. Soapies have lesser opportunities for 'touchpoints' with your girl.
