First time in Kenya. Take a room from Sheratton (yes, two t) or from Azul Margarita. They are next to Big Tree. Book room for two, then no payments for girls even if you have many per day. These two have a little bit luxury, Big Tree itself has very simple rooms. This is Bamburi beach (don't confuse with Bamburi community). Don't take room from Mwtapa, it is too much for first timer. Maybe in your possible second trip, when you have visited there and you know what to expect.
This Big Tree area is in the middle of Hypnotica and Yact Lounge.
Yact Lounge, you will go maybe once. Kenyan people go there in groups. Hypnotica, you will love or hate, probably hate? Big Tree, Casourina especially, Safari Inn, Eagle Nest, that is enough places to go. Just need to know right days to go to Safari Inn and Eagle Nest.Does anybody has experiences with ladies of https://bedescorts.com/escorts/kenya/mombasa ?
Interested in Mombasa for mongering, but am working remotely. How is the 4 g internet speed from cell phones? I'm thinking I'll need to use a 4 g hotspot with a sim card (sounds like internet in general is slow there? Anyone done this? I have to do Zoom calls with people in the USA, so internet has to be reliable so I don't get fired haha. Any insight appreciated.
Have learned a lot on this forum. Good to know going rate for LT is about 3 k.
Haven't figured out where I'm going to stay yet -- seems like the hotels are either luxury resorts $200/ night on the beach or cheap total shit with nothing in between. Seems like Cowrie Shells is a popular choice and I saw someone mention Sheratton.

n.In general Safaricom is faster and has a better coverage than f. E. Airtel.
Airtel provides Pocket routers which still use a simcard, so you depend on their network.

Thanks for the tip!The only disadvantage of dealing with Safaricom is the long lines at their offices. If you require costumer care of if you want to set up your account, be prepared for a long waiting time. They are just too popular in Kenya. Most people use them.

In Mwtapa last year some power outage was three days if I remember right.
Cowrie Shell and Sheratton are big enough to have generator.

Cowrie Shell and Sheratton are big enough to have generator.Sheratton has a generator, stands at the entrance gate. Was able to hear him for two days, my room was at the entrance. Luckily I was busy with other things 🙂.
Unfortunately it's not so easy to get a room anymore. The last two times I didn't get a room there, was looking three months before.
Also the prices there getting higher but nevertheless I will take a look there next time.

I'm planning on a couple month trip to Kenya.
I'm an experienced traveler around South East Asia, especially Cambodia and Philippines where I'm always cautious about being robbed and never had any trouble.
My question should I leave an expensive laptop and cellphone at home, or bring it? I'm mostly worried about it getting stolen in the hotel as I may move around a bit.
What are the odds of having my laptop stolen in a hotel or possibly ABNB if I rent one?
Thanks.

Thanks. If you find a hotel, or BnB with iron bars at the balcony and the windows, with electric wires around, a camera system, watchmen and most important an extra outside metal barred door that you can lock with your own padlock your laptop might be safe.

In dingy lodgings. Buy a chain and padlock and wrap the chain around a bedpost or similar. Leave everything at home with the bitten apple. I travel since 12 years with my trusted Asus Ebook weighing just one kilo. X205 TA. Smartphones I only recommend popular ones in Africa. INFINIX or Tecno brand. I only buy smart phones with dual SIM and at least 5000 mAh battery current one has 6000 mAh. My Netbook had an autonomy of at least 6 to 8 hours.
Mwalimu.
I have never ever had anything stolen from a hotel but I do know people who told me that they have.
Airbnb are more wide open for theft as you never know who has a key and as a muzungu you are wide open for theft when it is empty, locals will assume you have plenty worth stealing.
Kenya one of highest hiv and std rates in africa, I want to visit but afraid. Can you tell me how everyone here acting as there is nothing there.

One of the reasons I choose Kenya is because If it is true that I can date any girl, I will just find normal girls or NOT professional girls. One thing I don't like about South East Asia is that you will have to have sex with girls that sleep with many guys each day.
I'm not sure what I will find in Kenya, so maybe someone tell me if I am wrong, but my goal is to find girls who are not prostitutes and had more long term relationships.
The issue when you hear high HIV and STD statistics is that these are probably from prostitutes and why choose them out in Kenya if you can get non prostitutes?

Can you tell me how everyone here acting as there is nothing there.I'm not going to tell you what to do, but I can tell you what I do. I send my girls to their nearest hospital for STD screening. Including HIV using the Fourth-generation HIV tests. It can detect HIV approximately 14 to 20 days after infection. It's not expensive to do and the girls like doing it also. I had one girl tested positive for syphilis and genital herpes one time. Not one of them ever tested positive for HIV. I also carry condoms if I don't have time to test her.

Thanks. You should be good in most hotels unless they are holes in the wall. Security is involved in most thefts. I don't use Airbnb but it's likely safe too. Don't give anyone access to your room, not even hotel employees or someone you think you can trust. Don't talk about or flash money. Don't give big tips; don't dress expensively; don't wear expensive jewelry. Act poor. Being generous cause the opposite reaction you expect it to. Carry your phone and money in pockets that can be buttoned, zipped, velcro or snapped. Hide your computer in your room. Make it look as if you don't have one.
They all, both men and women, lie more than they tell the truth and for no reason and they all will steal eventually. Kenya borrow means they have no intention of returning it to you.
I was walking through CBD saw this one African woman with an amazing body waiting outside, I signaled her to come over and she agreed. I told her I love to see her naked and she told me 1500 bob sounds just about right for a well kept a Kenyan woman. I asked her was she on Prep (code word for no condom sex), she told me 3000 bob and showed me the medication in her room. We got down to business and busted very heavy inside of her 20 minutes later. I watched this same woman remove some of the demon from her vagina and she went outside with me. And she stood back on the block and another African man approached her when she went with him to her room. In short Prep will protect the person taking it but it won't protect you in this case. Please use a condom when over in that continent period a lot of these guys won't tell you the truth like this.

I can tell you this after living in Thailand for some years a lot of Farangs felt for there lies too and got took the cleaners in the process. I met a lot of liars in Nepal, India, Philippines, South Korea, Spain, Germany, Puerto Rico, The DR, USA and even Colombia. They do this because there's plenty of stupid desperate guys who fall for this type of shit all the time. I wouldn't be looking for a girlfriend in a country like Kenya I rather just pay for sex and it get it over with. I'm pretty sure there are some good women over there but in a country where you see more homeless women than men I'll take my chances sticking to the literal. Don't get me wrong I met some great people over there but it doesn't mean they're dateable.

If you cannot use the condom, do the tests and when your results are good, then prescribe the PreP therapy which protects (but not 100%) from HIV. So get your lady tested for HIV and take your daily PreP. This won't save you from other sexually transmitted diseases but it's something. Dirty spit inside is never a good idea.

Do you know how long it takes to get these test results back in Kenya?
How much does all these tests cost?
Do you go with the girl to the hospital to get the tests done?
Do you still use a condom after you do all of these tests? What about a condom for a BJ?

But we are in Africa, people are hungry, who have something interesting between their legs sells it to anyone can afford it. There can be no spontaneity when a *****monger like us goes to seek prostitutes. You find what you seek. The good girl of your dreams is still in the village, you will not find her on the beach or in the disco. Seeking a girlfriend or wife in Kenya is from psychiatric treatment because they do not care who you are, it matters that you marry her and keep all her family. Go and take to bed who you want, and pay to let her go when it's all over. Go out alone, have a beer, stay free.

Do you still use a condom after you do all of these tests? What about a condom for a BJ?One girl had it done at her gynecologist office in Mombasa, and the results took one week. I also had her examined by the gynecologist and read his report. (this one was diagnosed with syphilis and genital herpes) I didn't have sex with her since genital herpes could spread even if you use condom. She was so ashamed that she didn't even want to meet for lunch, and the girls insisted I won't have sex with her even after her syphilis was cured. The other girl in Nairobi at a hospital also took a week. I had a girl also in Nairobi who only had the HIV test on the same day. One in Kakamega hospital also took one week, followed by consultation with her doctor. I didn't go with them, they just sent me the detailed list of test results. I don't remember the exact cost, but I believe around 3-4k ksh. Those girls who I used condoms with, I also tested them with a saliva based 4th generation HIV kit oral swab. No blood, takes about 15 minutes. I purchased them on Amazon. Someone may think that girls could just fake it by paying off some health officials. However, my girls know each other, actually they are friends. Sometimes even go out together. I believe they keep each others in check, and they know their lane, and by knowing where they can be found. Same tribe also! I don't do hookups, so I don't use condoms for BJ. In my experience, maybe about 1/3rd of girls like doing BJ.

Great, I'm such a fool! I filled out my eTA visa online and the procedure is different from the past. Now you just need to upload the passport photo and the system will detect all data.
But I made the mistake of assuming that the system detected data correctly, instead. I received the visa "approved" but on the same visa my surname doesn't appear and the passport number is wrong for a number.
My mistake, which I did not check in the end. What a fool! I tried to contact the immigration at etakenya@immigration.go.ke but after days I did not receive a response. I also wrote with whatsapp but nothing. I will wait for some more day and if I have no answers I will present a new eTA.
But sure this new system is bad and ok, the mistake is mine too.
Has any of you been through something like that?

Well, I've written several times too and the only answer I've received was: Your are the one who uploaded a passport bio-data page which is not clear (without even the question mark). I answered yes, and asked what can be done to correct the error but for 5 days I have no answer. I also said if it was better to apply for a new eTA but nothing. So I will wait another 4-5 days and then apply for a new visa.
Is the sad life for most Kenya's, dude I'm pretty sure you just have $40-$100 ready when they look at your paperwork and you'll be fine I find out that corruption begins at the airport in that country and people are willing to make a quick buck easily in that country.

Of course you must lose some time to correct your mistake.

I arrived about 15 days ago and something seems to be wrong. Few tourists, air still. At BigTree all the sunbeds are broken and nobody has interest to change them, only the noisy group of presumptuous and sloppy Italians seems indifferent to the degradation of the BigTree, but they say that some rooms have been modernized. Same situation at the Continental, broken sunbeds but now after paying the entrance of 500 kes you are not entitled to drink but only to eat. Decision that I do not understand. It was explained to me that some tourists (Italians.) entered without paying and so. Ok. Mtwapa until 11 pm for nothing busy, then Casaurina as usual but without big crowds. Bamburi more lively. The change to 130 maybe determined all this? We will see what happens in the next few days.

A lot of girls are doing the online thing these days as well.
The economy is a disatster which does not help.
The way to go now imo is float around during the day and snag a tidy girl who has a job but likes the extra income that we can give.
Badoo etc as well.
The Big Tree and Casarinha girls are becoming fewer and less and less attractive. I.
Don't get me wrong, you can still have plenty fun here but it is a shadow of what it was just 10 years ago and that is not nostalgia looking back.

As you say. Since COVID it accelerated. Classic tourism on north coast is dead. Badoo Tagged Tinder etc. Have an impact too. No need to dress up and go out when you sit at home and sell yourself to the highest bidder. You see the aging WGs which did not transition to the online market. Or the ones which are serving 70+ aging Wazungu which are digitally challenged.

What I want to say, however, with different words than my thought that anyway does not change, is that it happens in the whole world. It's a natural fact. The girls you met on the streets of Mtwapa many years ago are now on Tinder, Badoo, Tagged. Times change, we get old and regret the past. It's not right, it's life. And the problem is not just about girls. Just think of the whole row of empty hotels, all the unfinished building exoskeletons along the coast of Shanzu and Bamburi. Tourism has changed destinations. Of course it can be fun again, there are hundreds and hundreds of new girls arriving every year from their villages. So for those who are new to the place there is still to fish, for veterans. I understand the boredom but it's not even right to shoot at the innocent. As for what Superchuck writes about foreigners at BigTree. It is never right to generalize but I have always kept a long distance from the Italians who have their asses attached to the chairs of BigTree, a category of annoying Kimbo who think they are masters of the world.

There was so much celebration and money spend in Christmas and New Year that it has been very quiet since then, people don't have money and they are tired of party. Not all of course. This is global phenomen in countries that are based in Christian traditions and have Christmas and have New Year in first of January. In Europe it is also quiet in night life this time, generally.
Degration of Big Tree. It got a lot of renewation after that Italian guy Walther arrived there for managing it, probably as investor also, many years ago. It was literally ruined after that big storm destroyed many years ago, only restaurant part. Big Tree is doing well, there are always some people until late at night. Side effect for this is that Cheers is all the time in trouble many years, before all the people went there after sunset.
Rooms in Big Tree are very simple, they are good for me but I have always said and wrote here that somebody coming to Africa or developing country should not go to Big Tree, use Sheratton or Azure instead, they have more developed rooms. And especially don't go to Mwtapa in your first trip.
Mombasa is finished. I have watched the decline since 2008. Nightlife is a shadow of what it once was.
Don't get me wrong, you can still have plenty fun here but it is a shadow of what it was just 10 years ago and that is not nostalgia looking back.It sounds like it's not the best for finding women in clubs and nightlife, but would Mombasa still be a good hunting ground if you're fine with Badoo and online hunting?
*I know I left a scathing review on Kenya previously, but I am looking to give it another shot. I think I made some foolish newbie mistakes and I am hoping there is fun to be had, especially as someone who enjoys pulling from online apps like Badoo and Tinder.

However, they always ask and want more money than girls on the ground. Then again you only pay what you want to pay.
These days I get my girls during the day as I move around from shops, streets, malls, wherever I see one I like. They never refuse their number.

Now you want to go back? Why would you ever want to go back to Kenya after writing a post like that where the girls disgusted you?
I'm actually still worried about going to Kenya, thinking the girls will smell so awful that it will turn me off completely.
You mentioned you met 2 girls a day during your stay, could you share how you found these 2 girls?

You mentioned you met 2 girls a day during your stay, could you share how you found these 2 girls?I'm at a point of a bit of an existential monger crisis. I had a recent trip to Thailand and I found myself bitter and jaded by the girls there as well. Which made me re-evaluate things. Maybe I just have unrealistic expectations from these women and of course I admit that I for sure made newbie mistakes as well because it was my first time in Kenya. On return, if there is a 2nd trip, I will be more assertive and make sure all of the women shower WITH me.
I didn't shower with any of the women and just assumed they would clean themselves well when they showered before we had sex. I know now that I have to be there and clean them myself to make sure they're good to go. I know it sounds ridiculous and almost belittling, but I think it is necessary after the ubiquitous hygiene issues I encountered during my first trip.
I probably sound like a nutcase, but this potential 2nd trip is kind of an evaluation to see if I can even enjoy mongering any more or if I have just become too bitter and jaded. I found a lot of times in my recent trip to Thailand, which is the Mecca of whoring, I was very put off by the attitudes of women. I worry I am just becoming another jaded monger pining about the good ole days, but I just think the modern Thai woman just doesn't have to put as much effort into things. They have many men willing to pay, at least the ones I go after, and they don't care too much if you're not happy with their performance and attitude.
Which brings me to why I'm trying Kenya again. Despite my big complaints about their hygiene, I will say that the Kenyan women I saw definitely had better attitudes and were better performers in bed than Thai women. They are willing to please their man if you are willing to pay. That is what I am looking for. I will try Mombasa this time as my first trip was just in Nairobi. I hope things go better this time.

I know it sounds ridiculous and almost belittling, but I think it is necessary after the ubiquitous hygiene issues I encountered during my first trip.I haven't been to Kenya yet (but considering it one day, obviously) but trust me this is not one country issue. There hasn't been a single destination where I wouldn't have encountered these issues. In some cases the smell (if you're talking about the smell) isn't a hygiene issue at all, but a result of bacterial vaginosis. Look it up.
More often, though, they're just lazy to take thorough showers before and after every encounter, which is why I try to do the same as you do, wash their areas of expertise myself. I usually explain it as my own fetish -- you wash me, I wash you. If they refuse and I get the smell during the act, I send them to the shower with a very clear instruction to clean up. I don't give a shit if they feel offended.
Wish me luck, I just purchased my plane ticket to Mombasa.
I purchased the ticket for 2 months as I can work from remotely with internet.
Worse comes to worse, I pay the $150 dollars penalty and fly back early.
Hoping to get laid with a non-prostitute, I have not been laid in years so hoping what you guys say about Kenya that money can buy non-prostitutes and I finally get laid after all of these years.
Last time I had sex was in Angeles city with a prostitute, but I don't want to pay for a prostitute who does that as a profession with many guys a day. I would rather find a girl working in a store who does not sleep with 5 guys a night.

You can use Tinder which will get you semi-pros. Mombasa is a conservative town so you will have to put some work in if you want regular civilian who is attractive. Otherwise there are bars and some clubs like Hypnotica where the pros and semipros go and it's luck of the draw. I think Nairobi has more talent and more attractive ones than Mombasa but that's just my personal opinion.

6 months ago I had lot of success with Tinder.Oh I have a constant success with Tinder. I don't like to work late at night, I'm upset by the idea of going to Casaurina at 1 am to pick up a professional working girl at 3 am. They are adventures for those who have maybe 2 weeks of vacation bleah! I find them on Tinder, make a video call, a drink together and Hello,. Walking around in the sun all day in Mombasa visiting shops and markets? Noooooooooo thanks. But each one decides for himself, I respect all except the boorish.

Hey! We are in Kenya babe!
I am new to this lifestyle mid 30's and have only been to Pattaya 2 times on the last 18 months.
Thinking of Kenya this year I am more attracted to the chocolate. Anyone who could compare that would be awesome. Not I big bar guy. So the order from the internet seems great. Already tested the water and there are so many messages it's unreal.

It seems like all the hotels are over $100 and the AirBnBs are fraught with fake reviews and bait and switches. Is it just a this is Africa thing where the lodging just sucks and is expensive for what you pay?
I was thinking maybe Cowrie Shell Apartments, but I keep reading reviews that you are at the mercy of your luck regarding whether you get a decent room or a dud with plumbing issues and potentially filthy. I'm not looking for a 5 star place, but I was hoping to find somewhere under $100 that is clean and has consistent power, hot water and wifi. Is that asking too much from Africa?

Who says you need to pay 100 US!!
Just check!!

Both well under $100.
On the Nairobi thread, I went into detail about how the dating apps works it's nothing more than long term western Union commitment for serious players. Now let the truth be told I haven't been to Thailand in over 20 years. But based on my experience I'll pick Thailand, I never been scammed over there in terms of pay for play here's the pro's and con's of Thailand and Kenya.
Thailand:
Pro's: Everyone pays the same price, generally safe, women are more professional, easier to find free sex, everything is upfront, unlimited pops during your sessions, none rushed services, thievery is none existent in the women and you have more a rent a girlfriend for the day, bar girls are generally beautiful from head to toe.
Con's: Falling in love with a working girl will be a financial nightmare for you!, prices are generally expensive always close to US prices!, bar fines are common, silly games at the bar which will trick you into buying whisky for the girls, owner of the bar talks crazy to you if you don't spend enough money on alcohol.
Kenya:
Pro's: Prices are generally cheaper, women have fuller frames, no bar fines, most night clubs have rooms for you to use that's a reasonable, good music at the clubs, night clubs are your best bet for safety even the police emphasize it.
Con's: Kenyan women are generally ugly, nasty attitudes, too many BBL's, poor hygienes is practiced in Africa in general and Kenyan women takes the cake you can even smell semen that was never removed from her vagina still there! ***** houses never clean the rooms and change the sheets only every several days, expect to be up charged!, more scams becoming common, price discrimination exists rampantly there if you're European descent expect to pay more, street scene is extremely shady looking many female pimps outside that are extremely aggressive and will try to intimidate you. Undercover decoys exist on the back streets with pricey fines!, Women will steal from you if given the opportunity, too many bait and lure traps. Again the women don't like to bait nor clean their pussies and that includes the ones in the estates! CBD bar scene expect security to steal from you. CBD bar scene expect security to try to intimidate you into giving him a few shillings for free, CBD bar scene expect security to be in it with the hookers to rip you off. Kenyan women like to play silly little games, honesty and integrity is rapidly eroding in that society. Night time many seedy cops out looking for bribes.
Again Kenyan women are generally ugly and expect prostitutes to be uglier than the average woman.
As you can see Thailand beats Kenya, you can still have a good time in Kenya, if you're not used to being in the hood or living the urban lifestyle I strongly suggest you stay out of CBD unless you're visiting Sabrina's Joy Pub.
Bamburi is full of shady characters also, Mijikenda and Swahili women are infamous for being greedy and aggressive even after paying the agreed amount they attend to want more. Many Tanzania women there too and they are the same way, I cant stand them oh well welcome to Mombasa

You think Kenyan women are ugly. So you think black women are ugly. No problem with that, everyone has their taste. but why come to Kenya and Africa at all if you don't like women of black race? There are only black women found in Kenya for mongering purposes.
This is posted in Mombasa forum. Rooms in the clubs? There are no rooms for the sex in the any of the major club that I know in Mombasa, maybe you refer to Nairobi? CBD? Or maybe in Bamburi clubs, but white people dont go to those clubs.
If you haven't been in Thailand for 20 years, I think even your Thailand information could be little outdated, it is different there than 20 years ago. So . So you don't like black girls and you have been in Thailand 20 years ago, what is the point doint this kind of comparisation ?

I'm not looking for a 5 star place, but I was hoping to find somewhere under $100 that is clean and has consistent power, hot water and wifi. Is that asking too much from Africa?Look for Sheratton, Azul Margarita beach resort and Sai Rock. They are near each other. I would prefer Sheratton personally. They are next to Big Tree, where you can spend your daytime and evening time. Big Tree has rooms also but rooms are too simple maybe to you.
I think Cowrie Shell would be good choise also, but it is little bit middle of nowhere, there is nothing nearby.
If I were you I would chbiarirei ideas because the girl who works in business in the evening goes to Hypnotica to prostitute. Hey! We are in Kenya babe! There are prostitutes in Hypnotica yes but that is not a main prostitute place, that is Casourina. Hypnotica is different than others, many white people don't like, some like very much.
Good think with Hypnotica is that there are people every night.
Original writer wanted to find common girl, maybe best place is Safarin Inn on Tuesdays and Fridays. All the working girls are there also, but there are some common girls. Big Tree, lot of people come there, both working girls and common girls, that is another. Well, many Kenyan girls are eager to have musungu boyfriend to take care of their needs. If visiting only the places where there are working girls around (like I do.) you get easily this idea that all the girls are after your money.
I don't start to write any instructions how to find so called common girl in Kenya. Maybe just bravely talk to every girl that looks interesting, everywhere, in street, hotel and bar personnel, etc. Many of them respond.
Moneywise, it is cheaper to just to meet working girls briefly. Girl friends are expensive.

So you don't like black girls and you have been in Thailand 20 years ago, what is the point doint this kind of comparisation ?I agree with you Leblon. I even had a harsh review of Kenya, but MwenByen's post seems unfair. I had issues with the hygiene of Kenyan women, and the safety in Kenya + infrastructure does pale in comparison to Thailand, but I can't agree with much else in MwenByen's post.
For Thailand:
MwenByen's pros addressed: NOT everyone pays the same price. Thai women are more professional and I have never had any safety issues with any Thai women. Everything is upfront. SOMETIMES you get unlimited pops, but that is not the norm in my experience with the hotter Thai women. Thievery has never been an issue with any Thai women for me either. Rent a girlfriend is still readily available in Thailand. SOME bar girls are very beautiful, but imo the overall quality has gone down in looks and service in Thailand.
MwenByen's cons addressed: Falling in love with any woman will financially ruin you. Prices in Thailand are indeed becoming much more expensive. I also am not a fan of the bar scene and the bar fines, but I never have been so I might just be biased. I cannot speak to whether the bar fines and the costs associated with bars in Thailand have become worse, but I have heard from others that it has.
*I will say that Thailand is hands down better than Kenya in terms of convenience, safety, food quality, infrastructure, many things. That being said, I have said previously in this thread that the quality of women in terms of service and quality in Thailand has degraded. It's still cheaper and better than what we have in the US, but I think the famous reputation for a beautiful woman who treats you like a king for cheap is gone now in Thailand. The hottest women are spoiled with many men who are willing to pay regardless of how they perform in bed and their general attitudes toward you. Thailand is still an amazing country and affordable, but it has become disappointing to me in terms of the women.
For Kenya:
MwenByen's pros addressed: Prices are MUCH cheaper and in my limited experience I think the value for service + looks is MUCH better in Kenya than Thailand. In my experience, Kenyan women really work for their money in the bedroom and they are much better performers than Thai women generally. I also think the average Kenyan woman has much sexier curves than Thai women. Cannot speak on the club and bar scene.
MwenByen's cons addressed: There are some ugly Kenyan women, but there are ugly Thai women as well. The ratio of hot: ugly seems similar to me tbh. I maybe lucked out, but again the attitudes of Kenyan women in the bedroom have been much better than the modern Thai woman. I did not see any BBLs in Kenya. They don't even have enough money to pay rent often. I don't know how anyone would expect them to have BBLs. Yes, the hygiene of Kenyan women in my experience is quite awful and much worse than Thai women. Lodging and cleanliness in lodging is worse in Kenya. Price discrimination exists in Kenya, but. Surely you've heard of farang prices? Thailand perfected price discrimination. Yes, Kenyans broadly are much more scheming and notorious thieves. I would not trust them and you should be very careful with your belongings when you have a woman over in Kenya. I also agree that the Kenyan police are shady individuals as well and society as a whole in Kenya is much shadier and fraught with thieves compared with Thailand where the biggest concern you have is getting ripped off with prices.
To make it short, I think MwenByen's take on Thailand is outdated and way too rosy. Thailand is not the same and Thai women are not the same any more. I also think MwenByen's take on Kenya is too harsh, though my experience is very newbie and limited. Kenya does not seem like as nice of a place to vacation in, but it is much cheaper and I think the value for quality of pussy is far better than modern Thailand.

Thailand:
Pro's: Everyone pays the same price, This is not true. You pay what you negotiate. I have friends that have had the same chicks as me, but they have paid more for short time than I have paid for all night because they did not negotiate. Some guys already have a set amount they want to pay and lay that out on the table immediately. To me that is not a wise move, because if you ask how much she wants first, then it may be less than what you were planning to offer. I mean would you see a car for sale and go up and blurt out a price to the owner without first asking what they are looking to get?
Just wondering, when comparing Thailand and Kenya, why has nobody said a big PRO of Kenya is that the girls all speak fluent English? Does this not matter at all or do the girls in Kenya not speak fluent English?
Could someone tell me what a semi-pro is compared to a pro?
That's nothing more than a cliche and everyone is entitled to their own opinions. Before I get started dude, I just want to point out tourism is down significantly in Kenya. As you can see this thread is dead. When someone that is entitled to there own opinions answer a man question in which no one else was willing to answer he gets chewed out.
You say I don't like black women that's your opinion I never made such a statement. Hey I got a task for you next time you visit Kenya go to the estates and begin preaching that jibberious you got plenty of people in the estates. That will listen to you trust me.
You think Kenyan women are ugly. So you think black women are ugly. No problem with that, everyone has their taste. but why come to Kenya and Africa at all if you don't like women of black race? There are only black women found in Kenya for mongering purposes.

They have BBL's in Kenya and some women can afford it but not all and hears a hint she has a flat stomach and a great big ass just grab it'll feel like a brick! I firmly stated I haven't been to Thailand in 20 years but I can tell you this, that thread is still active and while this one is dying. Matter of fact the entire African thread is dying, tourism is going down on that continent and consistent in Thailand. I have friends that visit there often. I'm not trying to trash talk Kenya and to be honest I do have regulars there. Life is hard in Africa in general unfortunately people have a bad habit of scaring away folks with money. Have they scared me away? Nan! But I do know that some Kenyan women work hard for their money but there's more scammers infiltrating the scene prefect example I was at Sabrina Joy, got this young Luo lady in the room 5 minutes later someone beating on the fucking door. Lost 700 bob! It was here friend pretending to be security. I'll be lying if I told you we didn't have sex unfortunately it didn't last that long. I never made a post about that but there's the story I've been to several Asian countries and never had to put up with no where close to the 8 countries I visited in the motherland BS. That's my opinion and I don't mind answering someone with one post questions because we all started with one post at some point on this forum.

Kenya does not seem like as nice of a place to vacation in, but it is much cheaper and I think the value for quality of pussy is far better than modern Thailand.
I'm sorry I meant to say foreigners and locals pay the same price at least that's how it was in the past.
This is not true.
Just wanted to say the recent talk about Kenya and the girls has definitely worries me about my 2 month trip starting next month.
Lots of negativity about the girls, saying it is going to be difficult to meet girls, the girls hygiene, tourism is done big to Kenya, is definitely scaring me. Then to top if off the comment about how I made a mistake of going to Mombasa and should have gone to Nairobi, because the girls in Mombasa are more conservative. Add all of this to the already worry about how dangerous it is in Kenya, I'm just scared about the trip.
I was under the impression that most any girl can be purchased in Kenya, and that I would be able to meet non-pros who want my money.
I will still go and hope for the best, but my expectations are now far lower. Hopefully, I can figure something out in 2 months.
I was just in Pattaya last year and found way more attracted to the African girls who were on walking street than the Thai girls. I'm more attracted to bigger girls and I also like bitchy girls, just attracted to girls who are not nice for some reason. This is one of the reasons I choose Kenya because I figure the girls will be bigger and more assertive than Asian girls.
Would anyone know if renting a scooter in Mombasa is possible and worth it?
This is something I do in South East Asia, but I was wondering if its worth doing it in Mombasa?
Thanks.

The nightlife scene in Mombasa is living on fumes. Nairobi I never go out at night so don't know it nowadays.
Hygeine, it can be but I rarely come across it being that bad.
Dangerous? Not really.
Most girls want extra cash, I have never failed fucking one I have wanted. Not always in the first night or week but still I've not failed.
Non pros, you will never ever know if they are unless they admit.
They are bigger than Thais. Plenty bitchy ones around too. I.
Mombasa is better than Nai for a newcomer imo.

Many Tanzania women there too and they are the same way, I cant stand them oh well welcome to MombasaYou've taken such a dump in Kenya that now you write all this nonsense about Kenyan women, safety and hygiene. I don't want to think who you slept with! But maybe the truth is that you like anorexic girls with crooked legs, typical of the Asian race, and a real black female of one eighty-five scares you. It's also true that you have to have a nice cock to make a nigga in bed while with an appetizer the Thai girls are fine.
You know that this country has a ridiculously high amount of crime, they even got issues with citizens being abducted by the police and being executed in a different part of the country. And I'm not saying all prostitutes will take advantage you but I find it more common in Mombasa than Nairobi. I encourage people to be way more careful than normal when dealing with women who's willing to meet up with a stranger for sex.

You've taken such a dump in Kenya that now you write all this nonsense about Kenyan women, safety and hygiene. I don't want to think who you slept with! .Seriously how good do you think the hygiene is with everyone walking around wearing those hair hats? Not very good I can tell you. There is a reason all of their real hair falls out. I am still going to fuck them though.

Forgive me if I intervene in your post but I think as Oiste. I also think you had a bad misadventure with a woman from Kenya and now you hate her all. Mombasa worse than Nairobi? Is it a joke, am I laughing? In Thai you wake up the next morning without a kidney if you’re not careful, so what? Go with the first Mombasa ***** you meet? Well, it’s your business. But don’t generalize. I encourage people not to give too much importance to what you write but...about your misadventure...this woman from Kenya you the swei married at the end?

In Thai you wake up the next morning without a kidney if youre not careful, so what? Is that from a movie or sonething? I have been living in Thailand for 16 years and have 2 kidneys. You can leave your money out in plain view and those Thai chicks will not touch it.
Had this (second) trip to MBA planned for a long time. Changed it a couple times, then at the last minute canceled. But then got bummed I cancelled and went for it in the end.
Been here for 2 days. There's not 10 minutes (edited from 15) that goes by where I'm not thinking what a fucking dump. And if I could just play the tape backwards long enough to correct my miscalculations. Leaving soon as possible would be stupid too since rent and motorbike are already paid and non refundable.
Will update if I manage to get some inner work done and find my way.

where I'm not thinking what a fucking dump. Depends on, what you want. Was there 3 times, not so bad in Cowry Shells. Use Tinder for easy pickup, or visit BigTree. An go to Char-Choma for greatest BBQ.
Or opt for a Safari. Salt Lick Lodge is exceptional. You might go there by train, because of scenary. Try direct package booking via "friend".

There was some talk of yellow fever vaccine being needed I'm here now and no one asked for it (I do have it) but I'm sure I'll need it to leave as I'm flying Ethiopian airlines back home to Thailand after this and from what I read they require the vaccine if coming from an area with it. Which for all I know Kenya isn't since no one asked for it.

Yellow fever is only given via so-called travel doctors, and they only take cash. It seems to be a scam run by the state. They charge 300 us for it and the yellow booklet that comes with it.In the states you get 2 yellow books for $11 on Amazon.

As the title says I've been here since Saturday been to most of the spots talked about and I'm just not impressed with talent. The chicks kinda remind me of the Haitian chicks you'd see in Sousa in 2013 meaning they were pretty Kenyans also got a bit more ass the average Haitian that was around then. The thing I've notice is the girls working freelance are in small number. I'll explain there is only like one or to places they go on any given night for example Tuesday the may be at big Tree then Safari Inn but it's the same chicks going from place to place. I'm not really into the online scene but I've looked and there are attractive chicks there.

Between 2000-2010 most places were busy night after night and girls were plentiful.
Tembo, Cheers, Mamba, Casarinhas, Bobs. Etc etc.
Since 2010 there has been a decline. I don't bother going out to clubs now as it is a waste of time.
Online or day hunting is where it is at nowadays.

I've looked and there are attractive chicks there.Had good success using Tinder, which is easiest for the girls, too; for live adventure, either Big Tree, daytime / evening, or Casaurinha, in the night.
Unfortunately just like the rest of Africa prostitution is largely an unprofitable business in Kenya. With a declining tourism industry, paying off corrupt cops, pimps and house madam's the average Kenyan woman is left with shit by the end of the night. Kenyan women largely rely on Kenyan men to pay the bills (as in buying pussy) but with a low wage job industry and high inflation Kenyan men only afford to pay so much for sex. On my last trip to Nairobi, half of the women on River Road was letting it go to Kenyan men for 300-500 bob as long as they cover the room fee! My opinion is this Mombasa is no longer the place to be for sex and partying I suggest one go to Nairobi for such activities. If the money isn't good then more women won't come out to play. Most of the women I met in Kenya who work the streets rather put up with sexual harassment on the job than selling pussy to strangers and taking losses of all the dividends I mentioned above and that's including dealing with robbers who pose as potential dates.
I hope this information is helpful.

I just wanted to give an update as I've been here a couple of days. Don't read this if you get offended easily as I don't want to hear how I should be loving this place or how I should man up and stop complaining, I can already feel the negative comments coming. But I want to share how I feel anyway as it is fresh in my mind.
I'm not really liking it that much from what I can see so far, but I will probably stick out my 2 months here.
I've been spoiled to have spent so much time in south east Asia and specifically Thailand, where I'm wishing I was back there. This is not for the girls, but the infrastructure. This place is worse than the Philippines and Cambodia, its very third world.
1) Transportation and traffic make it seem difficult to get around. I can't take public transportation or rent a cheap scooter so daily traveling anywhere far is difficult. I like to daily, go to the mall, go to the gym, go food shopping, I don't want to pay an uber to do this every day. Actually, I hate paying taxis in general.
2) Food is expensive, and you don't want to eat where the locals eat, it is downright scary to do that. This isn't a problem if you are coming for a week and will eat at the hotel and restaurants, but for 2 months I don't want to pay $10 a meal.
I actually brought with me a sous vide cooker to cook meat as I do the keto diet. You have to see the meat they sell here, it is disgusting and the way they store it scares me. Some of it is browning on display. I'm afraid to go into a butcher shop as I may never wan to eat meat again.
3) Gyms with free weights seem hard to find, and are way spread out. Plus, in the reviews they want you to sign up for 6 months, no cheap rates for this for shorter durations. I don't even know how locals can afford them. Plus, with how everything is spread out here, I would have to travel like 10 miles and with the traffic, not something I want to do.
4) I dream about being in Pattaya, not for the girls but for the malls, the safe walking, the cheap baht bus, the gyms I like, the atmosphere, walking around at night. Going to the movies, eating at my favorite local place or the cheap food court in the new malls. I didn't realize how good I had it in Pattaya, who cares about girls when you can live in such a nice city, I think that is more important to me at the end of the day as getting away from the cold winter is why I make these travels.
The weather is so nice here in Mombasa, which just reminds me of what I'm missing in Thailand.
5) It is scary to walk around, not that I ran into trouble yet. I have to admit, I'm scared, when I walk down empty streets and see young males walking by me or sitting around, I think are they going to rob me. I already heard stories about someone friend who had their phone stolen twice. I also heard about the police corruption and someone already told me they got extorted for 25,000 KES for passing someone over a solid road marker.
Hotel staff told me not to walk to the beach after 6 pm, and are warning me to be careful in general.
6) While I get a lot of likes on badoo, it seems its difficult to get responses after that. I'm getting the impression its not so easy to meet girls online as you think, unless of course you get an obvious prostitute.
I'm starting to think maybe for what I'm looking for I'm better off going to night clubs, where I can pre-screen the girls. This makes me think I should just go to Nairobi.
Someone did tell me that they went to a night club here in Mombasa and the girls were lining up to meet him as he was a white foreigner. Maybe I should consider going this route.
The issue I see is how will I know what the girl is like by meeting them online, you have to meet them first, so why not go to a night club?

Actually, don't apologize for giving your opinion, that's what the forum is for, boots on the ground information. My first time in Kenya was not great either. I really thought long and hard about making Kenya my home, but the infrastructure is also too much to overcome for me as well. I got tired of being stared at when trying to make a simple purchase in a store. Trying to overcome the ignorance of some people. I didn't like the traffic in Nairobi, the cop stopping me for a bribe with a huge silver AK-47 in my overpriced car rental. I didn't like the cop coming into my building and shooting his GF, and then himself in front of her child in Nakuru. All the potholes, the horrible food disguised as delicious Nymo Choma, yuck! On and on, I have stories of horrible service, no available gym, horrible shopping, etc. I also have stories of sweet Kenya puddy almost being worth all the bad shit, so I keep coming back for more!
Pattaya has it's ups and downs as well, but its quite comfy and spoils you. Who the hell are they fooling saying those lying, ran through Isaan hoes are wifey material! At least in MBA I don't have to wait in line of every race of man in the world for an average used up Thai hoe. Don't just sit there and bad mouth Mombasa for two months, Uganda and Tanzania are on either side of you, so go check them out as well. In fact, you have all of Africa to check out. No need in enduring what you don't like, and you really got to love Black puddy and the game of getting it in Africa. If you don't then just admit that to yourself and go back to Pattaya.

I go to night clubs and bars, there are lot of girls. If you spend enough time in area, you start to know most of them, maybe all of them. You need to know right day to go to right club, but that is fast to learn, there are not so many night clubs in Mombasa area. Or let's say there are not so many night clubs that are popular, people go to just a few places.
Kenya is quite developed compared to other African countries.
Public transportation. Easiest and cheapest is to use motobike taxis, I am using them all the time but all the time I am also scared.

You are in Mombasa, where in Mombasa, in which area? In the beach hotel in which beach?
Char Choma is a terrific BBQ restaurant. Excellent meat; I think, you can also simply buy it, without preparation in restaurant.
In the City Mall, Nyali, there is a large supermarket, having good meat to buy, and a reasonable self service restaurant, for lunch.
Indeed you are in the real 3rd World now.
I have met several Thai mongers over the years in Kenya and they arrive expecting pretty much the same thing at Thailand.
Nope. It is chalk and cheese. I am not sure why people go to one country and compare it to another. That is the mistake.
Transport, food, infrastructure, hotels, restaurants, bars etc it is all a lot better in Thailand.
The only thing you would come to Kenya for over Thailand for is if you like black women or you prefer the nitty gritty of the 3rd W.
Why do you not use matatu but you use bath bus?
Hire a boda for bike off one of the guys for the day.
There is gym in Bamburi opposite side of the road to Tusky upstairs on one of the buildings. A lot of free weights and not expensive.
I eat at cafeserie as you know it will be good but it is not cheap for Kenya.
I have never ever had a problem walking around, day or night.
What beach you on? There is loads of people around at 6 pm.

Is Hypnotica worth visiting?

Thanks for posting this, I'm close to this mall and didn't even realize it was there.
Is Hypnotica worth visiting? You need to ask which nights it gets busy. The club on top if City Mall too. You will find certain nights are good at certain clubs.
For example Safari Inn in Shanzu on Tuesday and Friday when they have the live band on. Friday at Big Tree for the wet pool dancing.

Monday, bit quiet of course, but there are people. Only other place that have people is Eagle Nest in Mwtapa, it is totally full, karaoke night.
Tuesday, there is pool party, girls twerking in the pool in bikini. I have seen it so often that it is boring to me. There are people.
Wednesday. There is Piano dancing competition first. Meaning hiphop. It is quite of interesting but only a couple of girls dancing on those dancing groups, I don't care so much seeing those boys dancing. After that is my favourite show of Hypnotica, Bikini contest. Mostly slim girls in small bikini.
Thursday. Twerking competition. Lot of people.
Friday. No show but lot of people.
Saturday. No show, still lot of people.
Sunday. Twerking competition again. A lot of people. I recommend Casorina Twerking competition, though.
Many people hate Hypnotica, music is so loud, you need to buy two drinks always, it is very crowded. I hated it many years, but lately I have started to like it.
There are many muzunkus with slim young gilrls like everywhere. , but this is still more African place, more local people. You can find girls from here, but there are better places like Big Tree, Safari Inn and Casourina.
If you are living near Citimall (original writer) then definetely start to go to Hypnotica, you can go there first before going anywhere. Or, you can go there after you visited some other place. Some people stay there until 7 or 8 or 9 or 10 in the morning, what I have heard.
I usually go to Hypnotica, drink those mandatory two beers, then I go to Casourina.
So why not just approach chicks you see during the day? You are bound to see way more than you would in a night club.Where would you recommend in Mombasa to meet girls out in public?
Where would you recommend in Mombasa to meet girls out in public?Anywhere and everywhere. Just approach any you like. Most will respond and go for a drink.
There's a 24/7 massage place on 3rd Avenue right next to Nyali City mall with BBBJ and FS available. Girls are average, but you can get photos on Whatsapp to see what they have before you head over. When you enter the location, girls will come to the room one by one so you can choose your favorite. I think they also do outcalls to hotels. The room was basic but clean, bathroom old and worn out. Service was friendly.
Check Bianca's Heaven massage and spa by Nyali Springs on Google Maps. The owner has written number for Whatsapp there. The same number works for the location by the mall.
If you have a bit of game you can find girls at the mall or around it. For some reason getting a SIM cards often gets me a number from the assistant willing to meet too

Where would you recommend in Mombasa to meet girls out in public?Wherever you see one that you like.
If you don't feel safe doing something please don't do it. Never make someone feel like you're a pussy just because you have unsafe doing something.
I stopped by hypnotica and the guy at the door said it doesn't get crowded until 4 AM to 11 AM. Is this true that you would have to go out that late?
Are ABNB studio rentals safe? Any issues with renting them? Or just try to get one with reviews.
Thanks.

Thanks. This is true. Hypnotica is late night place. People start to come at 11 or 23, those that have made table reservation. Rest of them later. This is same for Casorina at Mwtapa.
For afternoon delight and for evening, go to good old Big Tree. On Tuesdays and Fridays, people go relatively early to Safari Inn, around 8 or 9 ?
You were near CityMall in Nyali, right? There is Swahili Beach bar, I don't know how crowded it is and on which day. Go to visit once and walk on the beach, beach is very nice near there, and you could find girls walking on the beach, I don't know how often and how pretty. Better take motobike to Big Tree. Near Citymall motobikes / tuktuks / taxis ask crazy prizes unfortunately.

Did it once in Mombasa, and once in Nairobi, because of the high prices for decent hotel accomodation. And to avoid any trouble because of hotel security.
No problems.
Wherever you see one that you like.I'm seeing girls that I like walking around, they look at me like they are interested also.
What exactly should I say to them?

I think motorbike is ok, because you can always tell him to drive slowly and he will do.
Don't take motorbike with sun-umbrella because they are more difficult to drive, especially if wind comes and You're already driving outside of town. LOL.

What exactly should I say to them? What do you say to girls in other places of the world?
"It's a lovely weather today! Do you come here often?"
You've spent more than a week in Mombasa now you say. Any luck getting laid yet? Or you're still trying to find out where you can meet girls, what you should say to them and where you can take them?
I'm seeing girls that I like walking around, they look at me like they are interested also.

Most will say yes.

You've spent more than a week in Mombasa now you say. Any luck getting laid yet? Or you're still trying to find out where you can meet girls, what you should say to them and where you can take them?Lots of problems, 1st, the jet lag was really bad and I was sleeping the whole day and just getting over this after like 2 weeks. Then with the USA markets tanking, I am a trader, I have to be at my computer from 4 PM to 12 PM, the markets tanked so bad that I'm actually worried and don't even care about meeting girls.
That being said, you need game if you want to pick up girls here, you have to go on dates, set up meeting places, ask the girls out etc. The girls seem shy also, I didn't expect the to be so shy. I was also mistaken about English, English is a 2nd language that many don't speak that well.
I also feel that these girls are religious, and feel bad about wasting their time for sex.
The third worldness of this place is also a turn off to me, makes me really not interested in the girls. These are not like Black American girls who dress well, most look poor, but the overall society turns me off like my body is telling me, you don't really want to procreate with these people.
Moving around to different places is a chore, this isn't south east asia with safe and cheap transportation and you can walk anywhere safely, this is scary to travel around.
Being that the girls are really shy and you need to use a lot of game to pick them up, I will probably leave here without getting laid. I was expecting something different. I thought the girls would be more out going and easier to speak with. Many don't speak good fluent english also.
Any of the attractive girls online are hard to get follow up responses, they will like you, but not reply to you after that.
Overall, I don't recommend Kenya, just go to South East Asia.
Not really girl related, malaria is a real issue here in Mombasa, I didn't realize this and after reading the high odds of getting Malaria I'm a bit paranoid. I had to get a mosquito net for my room because of the constant mosquitos that find them selves in my room, I was killing a few a night and it was difficult to kill them, and it freaks me out to sleep knowing they will sting me when I sleep. I would avoid mombasa for this reason alone, supposedly Nairobi has much less of an issue.
My bathroom is outdoors and always loaded with mosquitos, I have to put on my thick sweartshirt and hood to take a dump, I get swarmed when I live my room.
I will also say that, with all the trouble coming here, if you are from the USA, just game Black girls in USA. I guess this depends on your age, but if you are younger, just stay in USA and game the plentiful amount of better looking black girls in USA. If you are an old guy, then you won't be able to pick up young girls in the USA so will have to come here if you want young.
However, at my age, I would rather pick up black girls in USA, you have more in common, the girls are better dressed, etc. Plus you won't get malaria.
Overall, I don't recommend anyone to come to Mombasa for girls.

the markets tanked so bad that I'm actually worried and don't even care about meeting girls. You can not do anything about the markets, so why put off having fun because of that. This could be the last day of your life.
That being said, you need game if you want to pick up girls here, you have to go on dates, set up meeting places, ask the girls out etc. The girls seem shy also, I didn't expect the to be so shy. I am really enjoying talking to the people. I do not know if you travel much. I just told the waitress that my dad thinks she is not speaking English. He just does not understand her accent, but I do perfectly. She told him next time he comes she will speak English like an American. I told her no, make him learn Swahili.
I also feel that these girls are religious, and feel bad about wasting their time for sex.Why are you going by feelings? Talk to people and find out the truth. I do know there are plenty of hookers online wearing hijabs. Whether they are religious or not I have no idea. Hell, religion is why I am as bad as I am now. The religious ones are the main ones.

These are not like Black American girls who dress well, most look poor, but the overall society turns me off like my body is telling me, you don't really want to procreate with these people. Are you just in it for the skin tone? Thank god they are not Black Americans. I am Black American and I have not dated one of those in too many years to count. Black American girls who dress well is a facade. These people here are down to earth and not putting in airs. The only thing I don't like is the fake hair. I have a phobia of that shit. And it seems that after they have seen it fuck one person's scalp up then they would stop. But no. There is an epidemic. On the plane I told my dad that I do not like chicks with fake hair, but when you are in Africa you pretty much have no choice. It is like they come out of the womb looking for it.
Moving around to different places is a chore, this isn't south east asia with safe and cheap transportation and you can walk anywhere safely, this is scary to travel around. Not a chore for me. I just click on Uber. And when I find a driver with a car that I like, I get his whatsapp. Have one taking me to Diani in a couple of days for less than what Uber says.

Had a great time there. They are open 24/7.

girls.DUDE, you forgot Chikungunya-Virus (CHIK) fever, LOL. (alpha-virus). Which I got when living in Mombasa-town in 2006 for 2 months! A year later, I developed heavy joint pain in my hips. Up to now I suffer from Polyneuropathy which derives from these nasty mosquito bites. There is no healing from Polyneuropathy. I even can not keep that f*cking name for that fever from that nasty insect!
OK, I got a mosquito net, but these bastards were already hiding under the bed, and it took some time for me to recognize that they (asian tiger mosquite, Aedes albopictus and yellow fever mosquito Aedes aegypti ) were already within the mosquito net. The name "Chikungunya" means: "the buckled one walking" this name explains everything !!!

I haven't heard any tourist or visitor to get malaria in Mombasa, I have come to Mombasa many years. I guess it is possible. I get bitten by mosquitos all the time, you worry too much about malaria. Local Kenyan people, they are sick of malaria all the time, since they call any mild flu or mild fever as malaria.
Your bathroom is outdoors? Not included in your apartment?
I think you are not going out at all? I don't know how to help you. Better luck with the internet dates, maybe you find girl from there?
Edward. Forget Malaria, Mombasa is low risk. Cover up, sleep under a net. Use anti malarials if you wish. You won't get Malaria. In 20 odd years I have had hundreds of bites but never got it.
Women. Ffs just go out and chat to anyone woman you see. 90% will respond. Take them for a soda / coffee tell them what you want. Most will respond.
Never compare different countries, they are after all. Different countries.
You are safe walking around as I guess you are Nyali, Bamburi or Mtwapa. Tourist are 99 % safe in Mombasa.

https://www.ecdc.europa.eu/en/chikungunya-virus-diseaseDon't scare the poor fellow. LOL. I never heard of malaria cases in Mombasa either. In Dar es Salaam yes. Upcountry around Lake Victoria yes. If you got it a few times like most Africans it's like the common flu. Doesn't kill you outright. Dengue yes. That exists but I never heard it being widespread. The difference is Tiger mosquitos are also active during the day. Friend of mine spent 6 days on the dripper hospitalized for dengue. Set him back 600 $ in Aga Khan. For someone who's afraid of tropical disease. Best stay at home and watch National Geographic TV.
Mwalimu.
Who avails himself still to the balmy climate of Madagascars high central plateau. Zero malaria there. But. Typhoid Plague Cholera STDs LOL.

Is this *****house in Mombasa? Can you share information?Pam Breeze Apartments on 3rd Ave behind CityMall in Mombasa. Apartment B101.
When I went alone there were like 5 chicks. The chick that I came to see wanted to use oil for the massage portion but I did not want her to. She was confused and said she could not do it without the oil. I finally gave in to the and quickly found out it was actually a body to body massage. That shit was great. After we fucked she told me to come take a shower. About half liter of water trickled out. She said the guy must did not pump the water up? And she kept apologizing. I jokingly told her now you see why I didn't want all that damn oil? I was there 2 hours from 11 pm to 1 am. They are open 24/7.
When me and my dad went back the next day there were like 10 or 11 chicks. I do no understand the neighbors not complaining with music blasting from the place at all times of night.
So the girl I hit the first day made me pay a 1 k commission for the girl my dad got and the girl I got talking about because it was her ad. I said yeah that makes sense the first time, but after I already know about the place why should I be paying and extra 1 k for each chick taken.
I chose the chick that day because of her natural hair (she was fine as fuck too). I have a phobia of that fake hair shit. She did have fake eyelashes, but I made her take that BS off. Great time with her too!
P.S. They try to start at 7 K, but will easily go down to 3 K. When I was there the first night a guy called trying to get it for 500, talking about his dick is small. I was dying. She said the price is not dependent on the size of your dick. I was like damn, this mf is cheaper than me! She hung up on him, but he called back again. I told her next time he calls I am going to answer and cuss him the fuck out. Who calls these days anyway? I thought everybody only messages on whatsapp.

Forget Malaria, Mombasa is low risk. Cover up, sleep under a net.Planned to go scuba diving today and the guy asked me if I was taking malaria tablets. Never got asked that before. At the Sheraton in Nyali I had to sleep under the mosquito net. Here in the Diani Airbnb there is also a net, but seems there are no mosquitos in the house. They tore my ass up at that Manyatta club last night though where it is open air. Wearing pants there tonight.

Wearing pants there tonight.Mosquito net over the bed is good solution if you have aircondition. However, if you are in cheaper apartments like I am always, there is only fan making air move. With mosquito net, air is not moving and then it is get so swetty that you can't sleep. So I ask to remove mosquito net usually. Also, mosquito nets have often mansized holes in them, apartment owners and hotels don't buy new nets if somebody breaks them, which happens easily. Air flow from fan prevents mosquitos a little bit.
Pants in the club is good solution, prevents mosquitos for biting. However it can be hot sometimes. I myself carry small green plastic bottle that has mosquito repellent, in lower pocket in my shorts. If I start to feel itsching, I put that to my legs, it helps for a few hours. It is odourless. You can buy it from Carrefour at least.
Now there is not so much mosquitos yet. But rainy season is near, I guess in Nairobi it is raining already. By the way, I have met mosquitos as much in Nairobi as in Mombasa, they are everywhere.
In Mombasa area, I think Ramadan is affecting now, making things quiet, local people don't go out so much. Two more weeks.
They actually have plenty of cheap accommodation in this country and to be honest I strongly suggest staying somewhere that cost $70 and above in this fucking country. True story a mzungu stayed in a hotel off Dhurma Ave in CBD that place only cost 700 ksh a night they showed me a cctv footage it looked like all of Nairobi was beating his ass and going in his pockets. He stepped outside at 10 pm and that was the biggest mistake in his life. I think he was heading to Myunu lane, that strip have very cheap women that normally charge 500 bob for everything. Some hotel prices can be ridiculous but I noticed that the ones that charge $100+ actually have good quality food there that doesn't make you suffer from the dreaded black shit when you go to the toilet! I get good hotel rates in this country through booking if not that I make sure to book in advance when my credit card offers a good promo for a major brand hotel. It seems like you have to spend $100 + per night in order to get a hotel that has a elevator. And not only that the Airbnb can be a nightmare too. I once booked a room at apartment that had no elevators despite the fact it had 17 floors and I was on floor number 10 and the room was $80 per night. Now I could be wrong and generalizing but that's from my experience.
Yeah the hotel prices in Mombasa and Nairobi are pretty outrageous for a third world country (by global standards) for what you get.

but I noticed that the ones that charge $100+ actually have good quality food tSeveral times had a reasonable room at Cowrie Shells for $40-$60. Good food (BBQ) in Char-Choma; not for vegetarians.
Lunch in Big Tree, breakfast homemade. Never any problems.
I have my own approach which won't be for everyone but will put it here.
I use afrointroductions and put in preparation. I will take one girl for 10 days, normally two for one trip, one after the other. I chat them before I travel for a few weeks. The only difficult bit is finding time to chat the second girl when with the first. I am in my mid 50's and very average looking but I have no problems finding very good looking girls in their early 20's. I would put my success rate on afro at over 80%. Only thing in my favour is I am quite good at talking to girls.
I am very direct with girls what I will want from them. I tell them directly I will fuck them at least three times every day and Kenyan girls love this and live up to it without a problem. I tell them no condom and contraception is their responsibility but I still have to make sure they take it seriously, emergency pill is a great friend. I have them wear short dresses or skirts with nothing underneath and almost every girls like doing this. What is a little more difficult is to find a girl who will swallow your cum. Some will just refuse and even if a girl agrees sometimes you can tell she doesn't enjoy it. I prefer it when the girl is enjoying.
In my experience anal sex is a non starter in Kenya but its not really my thing anyway.
I don't pay the girls but I do support them and buy them sexy outfits. I also generally send them a little money before I arrive so that they can do there hair and nails and get their pussy shaved. This is not for my benefit a girl is more sexy when she thinks she looks good although I do like shaven pussy.
I prefer this approach to a different girl every night. I am getting laid every moment I want it and get to know the girl sexually and what she likes. I keep her pussy wet most of the time we are home even when I feel spent and I talk with her about sex all the time which is another fetish of mine. Also she will cook and clean for me and do my laundry, Kenyan girls will just do chores when asked it feels natural for them. If you take them to nice places buy them little presents and don't raise your voice to them then they really appreciate. And they love to fuck especially when you make them feel special.
I go to Mombasa because I like the beach life. But it doesn't matter where the girl is from she will come to Mombasa with me. In many ways better if the girl is not from Mombasa but a little more expensive that way. In Mombasa I like Big Tree and Papa Raymos on a Saturday night but I don't go there looking for girls I have my girl already. Mama Sita's in Nyali does the best fish even though it looks very rough. I never stay in hotels only airbnb and can find a good apartment in Nyali with a pool for about £30 a night. Bamburi is cheaper and a bit grittier, I like it there too especially the bars at night. Am not a fan of Diani, too touristy and too expensive and too spreadout and the guy who owns Tandoori is the only Kenyan I have ever fallen out with apart from Police hunting bribes. Normally I only stay one night in Nairobi, always in Embakassi.
Once I end it some girls do get angry especially Luo and Luhya who have a lot of pride but I stay online friends with some of them which I prefer.
An.
I really don't get any man saying girls are hard to find in Kenya. That man needs to look at his own attitude. Kenya is a sex playground for a white m.

Kenya is a sex playground for a white man.
Please comment on my Mombasa piece. I wamt your opinion.

Don't scare the poor fellow.
But. Typhoid Plague Cholera STDs LOL.Neddy. Where did you stay, what streets and buildings in Mtwapa when you used to live there? What was your experience with the rentals there? Neighbors and noise etc. What about morning prayer calls. I really hate to wake up 5 in the morning hearing Allahu Akbar on the speakers.

I have my own approach which won't be for everyone but will put it here.

I really don't get any man saying girls are hard to find in Kenya. That man needs to look at his own attitude. Kenya is a sex playground for a white m.I agree with characterization of Luo girls. Not all, but most of them have some pride and superiorly complex. They view themselves as superior and rich and educated vs other tribes. Yes, they speak better English and have superior sense of fashion and social skills. I base my limited experience in Mombasa and Nairobi, and also on Badoo and interestingly my Luhya and Kikuyu girls all agree with me. If a girl cold approaches you on the street, chances are she is a Luo. However, expect most of them to be rude and entitled eventually, who will always move the goal post. She will try to squeeze you to pay the tourist or beyond rate. They are good-looking, and they know it and use it well. They are good at making you feel comfortable at first. Likewise, they are perfect for most short term or fast tourist lifestyle and budget, those who just wants short term. You can actually be expected to be upfront with the price, and she will give you a good sexual performance. If you want longe term then choose Luhya. In my experience they don't get angry or confrontational as Luo girls but stay polite and accommodating without being snobbish and all the BS you could expect from Luo girls. They won't be as confident and well-dressed, though. If you don't want argumentative masculine women with zero accountability, avoid Luo girls. I think they have some kind of mental health issues, or they get damaged early. I don't know what to expect in Kisumu or other parts of Luo land. Maybe those girls are different.

But the caravan since moved on long time ago. Now the remaining wazungu fall in different categories. The destitute too old to move anywhere and the few remaining Sex tourists who avail themselves to the last remaining hard core hookers. I wrote previously that Mtwapa had changed dramatically. The old days of the Kenyan Sin City are long gone. For me it's just nostalgia and visiting old friends. But I've outgrown Mtwapa long time ago. As you say. The problem are the illegal Somali mosques. They're everywhere and a pain in the ass. The official 2 sunni mosques are well known and not a problem as long as you don't live close to them. Never ever book a AirBnB in Africa. I prefer to stay in cheap guest houses. Food is available anywhere. To live with about 10 African tenants. Have fun. Of course you can live rent an unfurnished appartement in. Mtwapa for 70 to 120 $ a month. With all associated problems. Electricity. Without a working fan you're not going to survive. Water if you have a borehole was not a major problem.
But as I said.
Mtwapa is finished.

Mwalimu. Thanks for the info. Would you happen to know where most English-speaking retirees live in Mombasa and in Nairobi or anywhere in Kenya? I was thinking maybe in Nyali and Diani.
Thanks for the info. Would you happen to know where most English-speaking retirees live in Mombasa and in Nairobi or anywhere in Kenya? I was thinking maybe in Nyali and Diani.I stayed many years in Nyali and there were a handful of retired UK ex pats but not as many these days. Some went to other countries like Thailand or back to UK. Mombasa has had its day in the main.
There are some in Bamburi and Mtwapa but again not as many as 10 years back as rent is cheaper in these places.
Most rent apartments as they are safer, albeit it noisier but never live in a single compound is my advice, too open for robberies or worse.
Diani I do not know. Nairobi there is a big spread of ex pats, I stayed in Kilimani but the vast majority are working not retired.

So there is indeed an expat community of white Europeans and some Americans, but it doesn't seem to be large, and they are spread out, however there are not that many retirees there especially not from Canada and the USA. I've stayed in Kilimani and I haven't seen one white man in one week. Chinese were everywhere.

In Bamburi you seldom see white people walking in the street.
Nyali is most advanced but it is little bit boring also, you should have a car there, or use mototaxis constantly. In Mwtapa there is more life and action, and you can walk.
Mwtapa, power breaks are common. So are in Bamburi I have heard.
If you want more quiet life in beautiful surroundings, then Diani. It is more expensive there.

Yes, along or close to the Creek in Mtwapa the Posta area seems to be the only place where it's quiet and park like with old trees and gardens. Actually, seems to be surprisingly livable as I'm googling it now. The prices are lower vs. Nyali for sure, but somehow the environment is more appealing to me. I really like some of them, like the ones behind La Marina. Hope no illegal Mosques nearby.

In a normal house the humidity especially December till March is unliveable without A / see. Unless you have uninterrupted power. And for that you going to pay through the nose. Considering the plenty of power cuts even in Nyali. The was a reason the colonials settled in the white highlands. Nairobi Nakuru Machakos or Nanyuki. Even Thompson Falls as it was called in the old days. There's plenty of white Kenyans living there. But unlikely they will talk to you. They stick to their own. Dying breed. They're also called Kenyan Cowboys. There's still the some of the old British Landowner class living in the white Highlands. 4th generation Kenyan citizens.
As for me you need 2 places to live. October till March. Nakuru for example. April till September it's cooler season on coast. Same as in Madagaskar. October till March in the central Highlands. April to September in the coastal plains when the climate is bearable.

I keep reading that there are places like Mtwapa that were and are shit. And why then some people went to a shit place?
Only for the pussy? And then there is also pussy in the latrines of Calcutta, why not go there too?
They say that they are now finished places, because the caravan has moved elsewhere. Which caravan?
That of the girls or that of the poor old men who can live only on scantily clad?
My eyes must have a problem because I see things very differently.
I've been in Mtwapa for 5 months and ok, it's not like Manhattan, but maybe someone forgets that we're in Africa.
There are hundreds and hundreds of new girls every year, denigrating this place means being bossy and stupid.
Or the reason is that they are now too old and powerless and no longer hold the rhythm.
Rent an apartment in Posta with all amenities at 90000 ksh per month, security cleaning silence.
Better keep your mouth shut or eat a chapati instead of saying stupid things.
Kenya is not for everyone, Madagascar yes. In fact all the desperate without money go to Madagascar where life costs very very little.
It's good for all of us, I assure you.

It's good for all of us, I assure you.I'm curious to know what do you get for 90000 khs ($700 US) a month in Posta? You mentioned silence, meaning a quiet neighborhood with security guards, gated community? How many Bedrooms etc? Room service included also? How many months do you have to sign the lease for?
Where? On Tinder and Badoo there's 1000's. But in Posta Road? Only expired mercenaries hanging out with the drunk sexpats. 90.000 KES apartments. Sure they exist. You can rent in one of the new high rise "luxury" apartments. In the 5th floor you going to be incinerated in case of a fire. 24/7 generator power. Very unlikely. Do you know how much power you need to run elevators and air conditions? Step out and right you latch onto cow shit. That's Mtwapa. The most hilarious are these posh lounges. You step out of them and you're in the Bush. LOL. But there's lots of people in denial. They think they found paradise. Like I did 13 years ago. Since then I find out that pussy is the least of problems in subsaharan Africa. They're everywhere on every street corner. Like coca cola. Obliviously it's a totally different matter if you come here for a couple of months. Try to live here for a couple of years.
Mwalimu.

This is not your obvious apartment block that locals rent, it is more the short term rentals night to night or week to week place. Good airbnb are less than 3 k per night.
You can good quality places in Nyali for that and less than 90 k on longer term leases such as 6-12 month.
While I'm in the mood to share my experience. Many apartment blocks in the greater Mombasa area are owned by Somalis. Actually former pirates who invest their share of ransoming ships in real estate. First of all. I hope for you that there's enough cement in the concrete lest this "luxury" high rise is bound to collapse. Further. In Africa there's absolutely NO maintenance being done. It costs money. Therefore rent only a building less than 3 to 5 years old. Expect things to break down. Like Elevators. Most promises are just that. Empty promises. Do you know how much fuel it costs to run a generator. ? So. If they claim they have 24/7 generator power. Yes. To run the lights and fridges and TV sets. Not the elevators. Not the air conditions. I know people who bought apartments in these "luxury high rises" They're usually people who launder money. No one in his right mind should ever contemplate buying.

When I'm in good mood I'll continue sharing my knowledge so some of you might actually save a lot of money if they're smart.

I appreciate all the info I'm getting from you and Neddy and Mombie of all corners, but can't we just keep it real and informative.
Living in Mtwapa. Many musungus want to live in Mtwapa European winter, spending six month, you get visa for that easily. So they / we rent furnished apartments from Postal, they are offered in Airbnb. You can get them for 2 k or 1. 5 k shillings per night, or even cheaper. 1. 5 k is around 45 k per month. High season / low season changes prices.
It was mentioned that Mtwapa is too hot. Many people from North Europe spend time in Mtwapa, using just fan to get air moving, so I think it is bearable. Power breaks are real problem, then your fan is not working, and you have sweaty night. Local girls, they don't get sweaty even if no fan, I have noticed. Mosquito nets are problematic with fan, they stop air moving, hot again. You can buy standing extra fan flowing air directly to you, but then you may get muscle cramps and cough. Mosquito nets, usually full of holes anyway, I prefer to sleep without. Some apartments have more mosquitos than others.
Air condition would be nice but rarely found from Mtwapa, and makes rent more expensive.
If you want to rent unfurnished apartments is cheaper, maybe 12 k or 10 k, or even cheaper if you take poor apartment. But then you need to buy furniture, and maybe pay rent whole year. Which is not problem if you want to spend whole year in Kenya.
There was mentioning 90 k for month. You can rent already room from beach from Indiana or Big Tree for month, if you rent for long time.
There are elevators in very few building in Mtwapa, I know just one, maybe there are more. So better rent from first or second floor. Power generator, only biggest hotels have them. And Eagle Nest and Casourina, you can spend time on those two places while hoping the power come back to your house or area where your house is. If some big transmitter blows up, it may take days.
There are girls yes, main reason for many musungus to come to Mombasa. You can find girls or girl friend even if you are ugly, fat, bald, old. Let's not go to that never ending discussion are girls only after your money or do they like you even a little bit. Economic safety are what many are looking for, Casourina girls are different thing.
I always recommend here not to take accommodation from Mtwapa if you have not been in Africa or even in developing country before. In your first trip take room from Bamburi beach: Sheratton, Azure, Skyrock are near Big Tree. Or take room from Big Tree itself, rooms are simple but cheaper. Or from Indiana, Kahama, Cowrie Shell. Then you can explore Mtwapa and find out if you can stand all the inconveniences that you will get there.
So, Mtwapa (Mombasa generally) is not for everybody and not paradise. But many people visiting there are starting to plan how they could spend European winter time / retirement time there. So it has it's charm (girls being major reason?
Living in Mtwapa...?All solid info. I agree with this.
You can get the same in Bamburi (not the beach, the estates) but there are less mzungus in this area.
Only problem with Big tree is late night music if you take a room there.
Toothless, desperate without money, grandpa? I appreciate all the info I'm getting from you and Neddy and Mombie of all corners, but can't we just keep it real and informative. I just use it to learn some new words, LOL. No personal jugement!
Boorish: rueppelhaft, flegelhaft, grob.
Conceited: affig, eitel, hochgestochen.
And to defend Neddy / Mwalimu- I think very few of us have his knowledge and experience about Africa, and when you read his messages, just take the good things out of the information he gives to you!!

He is the best. He knows everything. Only he has the bible in his hand. Think he is the only one to have traveled by matatu or hitchhiking in central africa, but he can only advise you in which brothel of professional working girls you can go. He liked the Ugandan girls who starved to death when they danced at the Kendas Arcade, or that other miserable place called Naiz. If you're a decrepit old man and the girls don't want to go with you can only go to brothels. Lifts in Posta? Ha ha ha poor guy. And he brags about it. For this reason he says that Mombasa is dead. And where he goes? To Madagascar. The kingdom of misery and squalor. Let go of that zombie and enjoy Mombasa with the hundreds of young and available beautiful girls. His are only regrets of a poor old man.

I pay 2600 shellings por day in Posta fully furnished apartment with houselady all the days in a new and clean apartment, and 24 h security.
I'm at the 3th floor and I like do the stairs but I'm young, I'm only 63.
I don't go to Casaurina and I find a lot of girls everywhere.

You can get fully furnished apartment with 2 k, I pay 1. 5 k per day but I am long term customer for many years. Some pay even less. But this is depending so much how big apartment is and how new and other things, difficult to compare. Also high season and low season.
Doing stairs keeps you in good health.
Other thing, Bug Tree and noise there. Nowadays Big Tree finish their weekend shows at midnight, so that hotel guests can sleep. Except Christhmas / New Year time, then music continues until early morning. There is no difference if you are in your room or outside, it is so loud.

Nobodys thinking about dollars. 90 k ksh is 3000 per day. You may get long term apartment with that from beach from Indiana. Or even Big Tree. But I haven't checked or asked for long time. But it needs to be long term, months.

The plan is for a year or more, depending on how I like it there. I only did short trips until now and within few moths I'm getting my one-way ticket. I'm retiring for good. That's why I'm asking about long tern rental options and neighborhoods where experienced Wazungu prefer to live in or around Mombasa.

I'd choose Nyali. No police bothers you there. Whereas in Mtwapa they pounce on you.

And BTW. One way ticket might not satisfy immigration. You're a tourist. 3+3 months maximum stay. Then it's visa run to Tanzania and Uganda. Unless you want to shell out 500.000 KES for a K Permit. Plus bribes of course which are usually double that amount. Otherwise your file in Nyayo house will go to to the bottom of the pile of applications. LOL.

As per the one way ticket, I was just figuratively saying it. Kenya offers a 5-year multiple-entry visa (Multiple-Entry eTA) exclusively for US nationals. Since I'm a US citizen, I will apply for it, but I still have to leave the country after 3+3 and reenter. The application fee is $160.

Many who have come for six month, has arrived one way ticket, then when returning you buy the ticket.
I know some guys who have stayed in Mwtapa some years with tourist visa. When six month is finished they have some contact who arrange a new visa them, for a fee of course. I forgot how much but it is much less than flying to Zansibar or anywhere else. But I don't know any details.
I looked Neddy link and there are quite cheap apartments in Nyali, I am suprised. In good areas. Unfurnished. Unfurnished is not good for guys who come for half years, need to buy furniture every time and then sell it very cheap when leaving. But AttilaTheHun is for staying long time so no problem.
Nyali is more developed and nice place and beach is near. But there you are in closed compound, visiting shopping center, using motobikes and tuktuk or your own car. Boring. I remember AttilaTheHun asked about place where there is community? Mtwapa is more like that, it is someway like a village, after a while you know many people. Also more action and life, but with inconveniences and drama.
Diani is good option if you want peaceful life, it is more quiet meaning also more boring.
Bamburi, in my opinion not a good place.
So, AttilaTheHun, you look around of course, rent room in cheap or expensive hotel and look around. With airbnb apartment you can stay short time in furnished apartment in Mtwapa, surely in Nyali there is same?
By the way not whole Nyali is nice, there are also bad and poor areas.
I have mostly stayed in Nyali behind City Mall as it is convenient for the mall and Naivas. Also I stayed some time near Voyager hotel.
Never stayed in Mtwapa it is too far from City mall for me as I like Cafeserie too much.
I have stayed in Bamburi twice for a few months and never had a problem. Cheaper than Nyali. Some people do say Bamburi is not so good but it is the same as Mtwapa surely?

So it seems Mtwapa has the only expat community, and the rest of the expats are thinly spread out in Nyali and Diani. I was thinking of expat places such as Angeles and Olongapo and Dumaguete in the Philippines. But I'm realizing that Kenya is on a much smaller scale than the Philippines. Which is not a bad thing after all. We dont want inflated pussy prices like in SEA. Kenya beats the Philippines when it comes to quality girls. Hands down, absolutely no completion. And that's the priority!

A difficult subject. Better to cultivate 2 or 3 really good and knowledgeable friends. Gossipping is rife. I learned to become my best own friend. In Madagascar it's even worse. I speak decent enough french. But. That doesn't mean you can make friends easily. I cultivated some high quality contacts in Nairobi, Mombasa Kampala Dar es Salaam over the years. Living amongst the natives. Over the years I met a lot of originals.

Mwalimu.Let's be honest: Most "normal" white men wouldn't even consider retiring in Africa. It's just not on the map. It took me a long journey to end up there. After SEA and the Philippines, I had to be honest about my preferences. I don't expect others following in my footsteps. Africa won't be a popular retirement or monger destination for Americans, for sure. Anyone who is interested in black girls would rather go to nearby DRP, Panama, Columbia, or Brazil where millions of friendly black and mixed girls are open to date white men. I'm just not in the mood to learn Spanish or Portuguese.
The Philippines also has its fair share of misfit expat white men. Many of them are there because no one wants them back at home due to difficult personalities or broken homes. Or because they have demons. Drug or alcohol abuse. They are trying to run away from their demons. I knew some of them personally, most of them are dead already. The average life expectancy of a Kano (muzungu) in the Philippines from the time they retire there is about 5-6 years. They just end up indulging themselves to the death. Mtwapa seems to be the place for these types also.

However your post is strange. Legend tried to reopen it two years ago, and they failed again. Read the reviews of those who live there now. Do you want to know which clubs are where to go? I'll tell you. If you are desperate and like low quality at low price go to Casaurina, if you have some money to spend and look for a medium quality go to Screenshot, if you like the beautiful girls of excellent quality non-professional go to Yatch Club. In the latter case it is difficult that you can enter slippers. Simple.

Sorry to intervene, but did you mean "Yacht Club"?Exactly. It is a nice place to go, frequented by nice people, not suitable for tourists who in the evening go out in slippers and tank top, those go to Casaurina. Years ago they went to Kendas to look for the Ugandan working girls of 1000 ksh or Naiz, another place really shabby. It's the same old story, if you're used to collecting scraps or you have to spend as little as possible because you are a desperate person, all you can do is say that Mtwapa is dead, that everithing in Mombasa is left. In fact, who says it now is in Madagascar where with a sandwich and a coke you get a girl who finally offers you as much as she receives. Well, good for me.

I live in Kenya and I am only alone when I want to be. I don't think its dead but its not like it was 10 years prior.
I reminisce.
Imo the Mombasa hey day was approx 2002-2012. Bobs, Cheers, Casaurinha and Tembo were rocking in those days. You also had Florida and Mamba and for a while in those years Bora Bora. Even Books first during the day. Girls were everywhere and Mzungus were hunted.
The decline coincided with Tembo dying I always think, the terror attacks then covid piled it on too.
The economy declining for years now has left Mombasa running on fumes.
However,
I still enjoy it. No reason why anyone can't.
I am out the loop in terms of nightlife now and girls in the clubs such as Casaurinha, Cheers, Big tree, Hypnotica, Yacht club etc but I never have a problem finding a girl. I grab contacts at City mall, in the street, a shop etc where ever I am. Most are still coming to visit me for 2-3 k for an hour or so suck and fuck.
Airbnb has been a godsend for places to stay. Uber / bolt as well for getting around.
If you can't enjoy Mombasa then I am not sure why.

But, in Ghana, I learned that it is better just to slowalk in everyday away from nightclubs. Nightclubs just have nasty pros whereas the shops, walking down the road in the the, passing a church on Sunday is like fishing in a bucket. That's how I role in Africa now. Sometimes I see someone I really want in a club but it's rare. The best are in the day where you can see them in the light. Just get their number. I have 100% success rate when I get a number.

His memories of 10 years ago are ridiculous because we live in 2025 and not in 2010. Let's stop saying idiocy, Mombasa has changed and so? You too have changed. Me too. In Mombasa the fun is guaranteed and the girls are available and they are everywhere and there are too many. Probably when this neddy went there was some other fool who told him how different Mombasa was 30 years before and that Mombasa was over. There's always some loser who instead of staying silent wants to tell us how he was an hero at going to certain places 20 years ago before you. If someone asked me today whether it is worth going to Cuba I could tell him that it is no longer the Cuba of the 90's but I would be a real idiot to say so and then I would answer: go, and enjoy that opportunities are never lacking in certain places.
Good morning signor African mongers. I have never been to Africa and I am really lost, as the continent is huge and I don't know where to start from. If someone has experience in Afrika, I would like to ask for some advice. Where should I focus? I am middle aged man and looking only for P2P girls, not dating or such. Slim busty young girls that speak very basic English. Please suggest a couple of countries for me to start reading the forums.
Thanks in advance.
Diani girl told me that club Full Moon is closed, already some time ago. Before manager was some Italian guy, sometimes on a year change local manager started to run business. Quite fast very huge losses, place had to be closed. Together with Tandori, Full Moon was Diani's most favourited club, I wonder what went wrong.
Best place to visit Diani is Friday, Saturday is already more quiet, on Sunday there is still something, other days no action. Maybe this was reason?
Other place which was suprisingly closed is in Mtwapa Postal Street supermarket, BeachWays. Two or three days ago they closed, and now there is note in the door that To Be Let.
Rumours say that some musungu owned the plays and returned now to home.

But money are important to have fun, maybe those who despise Mombasa can't afford even a quarter of chicken at Swahili Dishes. Better shut up so you don't look like an idiot Mr. Nerd.

Thanks in advance. If you would read the forum, you would find out that Kenya is usually considered to be ground zero for the Africa newbie. Kenya is the bridge between West and Africa. Kenya is where you will learn how to swim with the sharks. After your training experience, you can move on to other hunting grounds. Other advantage Kenya has is the variety of body types from the Nilotic slim, slender tall to the shorter Bantu types and in between.

Thanks in advance. My personal opinions of this. There are four main cities for mongering in East Africa: Mombasa and Nairobi in Kenya, Dar es Salaam in Tanzania and Kampala in Uganda. My favourite of these is Mombasa, and nowadays I just stay there, I don't bother to visit these others anymore.
Mombasa have beach, it is quite cheap, and it is relaxed and calm.
My second favourite would be Kampala in Uganda, but there is no ocean.
Nairobi, night life is there maybe the best, but for me there is nothing else to do except bars. You can go to safaris from there, but I made a few days safari to Masai Mara, and seems like that was enough for rest of the life, I saw all possible animals except rhinos. Gorilla safaris in Uganda or Rwanda, that I would like to do again. In Nairobi, nightlife is good but in daytime I just sit in the shopping mall cafe, feeling bored.
Dar es Salaam, that is fun place to be for some time, go to Oyster beach area and visit all the bars. But although Dar is on the beach, there is only that Coconut beach to visit, small and dirty. Eventually I would get bored there.
So, Mombasa, Kampala, Nairobi, Dar es Salaam, visit these four places, and read in Forum about these places. Girls speak English.
Rwanda, it is smaller, and English is not so much spoken there, I think is boring, but you can visit.
Ethiopia, I visited there once, but I have met lot of Ethiopian girls in other places. They are pretty, but no oral sex. Addis Abeba was so underdeveloped, I did not like there.
Cape Town in South Africa, that is in my opinion second most beautiful city in the world after Rio de Janeiro. English is spoken, and you can also find white girls in the girls bar. Worth of visiting. But I like more Kenya / Uganda / Tansania.
Lot of action in the Madagasgar, seems like senhor Neddy has found his new home there. There are some debates if you can manage there without speaking French. I doubt. But I don't know anything about that island.
I have never been in the the West Africa. French speaking countries mostly. I would like to visit Lagos and I tried at one point but visa was too difficult to obtain. Big Kongo, I would like to visit capital and make boat trip in Kongo river. But that is too big effort and I am too lazy. French speaking country.
That is all my Africa knowledge, many people of course disagree with my opinions. But now you have something to start your investigations.
Dear all,
I'm new to this forum and planning a trip subsahara africa to enjoy what pay6 has to offer there. I'm really into skinny black girls and I read that Kenya (Nairobi & Mombasa) might be a good starting point for an africa newbie.
I read in various posts that the game take place in bars, clubs and on the beaches. I'm very experienced in central america, where you generally can check the girls advertisment on 2-3 websites, make an apointment via whatsapp and go with them to a motel or your place. This more discret way I would prefer. Isn't it possible there? Do you know a reliable, good visited website to arrange with the girls (I'm not sure about the ones I've found)? Or is it the only way, live in the streets, to approach the girls?
Thanks in advance & best regards.

The fact that you chose Mombasa as your place speaks volumes. Since you seem to be a veteran monger and expert on this topic, I wonder if you ever tried Zambia. It's so underrepresented and seems to be a promising place for a single man. Have you ever traveled there?

You won't recognise Addis Abeba anymore. Complete traditional old housing like Piazza and Kazanchis have been totally eradicated without compromise, and skyscrapers have been built here. At night, ten thousands of LED lights on important roads for illumination. All coloured buildings must change their colour to grey and white (a very questionable decision!).
We, who have known the town for 20 years, feel pity for this.
But on the other hand, Rome or Paris would have never been what they are now, if you think like this.
Concerning Blow Jobs, also, new girls arriving are learning and blow jobs are possible now with some young girls.
Also with the free birr currency exchange rate now, its cheap when you bring Euro or Dollars along!
Auro.

Those friend who visited there (not mongereres) said that it is underdeveloped and boring, and some Kenya friend called it fourth world country, Kenya being third world country. But it could have developed since then, my info could be outdated. They speak English there at least, it is also an ex-colony of Great Britain.

The ladies see it as something natural and they enjoy it.
Compared to Kenya I would say the ladies there are somehow a bit more lively, open for all kind of things and have more sense of humour.
Besides that in Kenya you find a greater variety of body types and colours coming from all the different tribes.

Auro.My friend visited in Addis Abeba recently and told me that there were power blackouts all the time. When I visited years ago they were administrative blackouts, power was out purposedly in the afternoon, to save money. Like whole districts of the city. Is that still so?
This is good news that blowjobs are possible nowadays.
Also what I did not like was that when I visited girl clubs all the girls were so big, there was only one slim. Which I then took every time. I hope there is improvement for this problem also.
But, Ethiopian girls are very pretty, I met many of them in Dubai, again years ago. All of them said that they are from Kenya. Actually also Dubai Ethiopian girls refused to do blowjobs, they had never even heard about it before arriving to Dubai. "Mouth is only for eating food".
If you are visiting Africa for the first time and you are only staying for a week or two, I would recommend not doing too much. Try Entebbe, Uganda. It's a small, relatively clean and safe town on Lake Victoria. The major Uganda airport is there and immigration is friendly. You can learn how to access your money and how public transportation works. Kampala isn't far and I found more available ladies per volume in Uganda and there's a different nightclub that specializes in every night of the week.
With some exception such as Ethiopian, the Dinka and Nuer of South Sudan and the Tutsi of Rwanda, I don't believe women of different countries look different from a tribe or country of another.
Stay somewhere people actually got money and have western prices for accommodation and restaurants. Sad story a guy stepped out of Raya Hotel in CBD after dark he was laying in the street in the street even the most seasoned veteran is cautious about being near that hotel at night. And even the Stanmar isn't a good location neither the vultures can easily see you.

I found a good street walk video to Eagle's Nest and then to Safari Inn Bar in Shanzu. Recorded just last month during the rainy season.

I am big fan of Char-Choma, but want some alternative, when visiting Mombasa.
Can you give some recommendations for reasonably priced, good restaurants in Mtwapa?
I am big fan of Char-Choma, but want some alternative, when visiting Mombasa.Top food & most expensive at Monsoon near the Jumba Ruins, only open at daytime.
Good restaurants, medium priced: the floating restaurant Moorings and Marina along the creek.
Good and not expensive: Eaglenest, Swags Pub, LE Parisien, Screenshot.
At the Cobacobana Beach there are many places where they will grill freshly caught fish for you.
No place is perfect. Mud, dust and dirt is not biggest problem in my opinion, it is random electric breaks which can take long time.
.All that is true, it's just that nobody cares about throwing rubbish everywhere on the streets and that no one cares about cleaning it up.

Entebbe, UG is more civilized than most locations. It's full of tourists.
Another less intimidating place for newbies is Diani Beach, KE. It's not so far from Mombasa MOI International Airport.
If you want to rent a car, Rwanda is better to drive in because there's no police or immigration corruption.

Diani is good place for couples if you want peaceful life, it is beautiful place. Action only on Friday, some action on Saturday, something small on Sunday.
Mombasa North and Kampala are not so dangerous places in my opinion.

All that is true, it's just that nobody cares about throwing rubbish everywhere on the streets and that no one cares about cleaning it up.
And I am one of them. And me too. Everyone decides to live there for a different reasons. But if you behave well it is a really quiet place with friendly people and especially full of available females. Unfortunately, there are no more Ugandan working girls dancing naked on the tables of the Kendas, nor the fat broken ladies for 500 kes of the Naiz, but it remains an interesting place if you do not suffer from impotence.

.Full of tourists and NGO leeches, yes. But for our hobby: nada. Even girls from platforms like Badoo or Twitter are gold-diggers and no-shows.
how public transportation worksI can't imagine why someone would want to use public transportation in the third world. Do you mean busses?
What's wrong with private hire cars or taxis?
Isn't one of the benefits of going to such a destitute place the advantage of having more / stronger currency?

Hi all,

I have a month booked in October to visit. I was looking at Mombasa and Malindi. Could someone give me some advice as to prices of girls etc?In Mombasa I never pay more than 2000 + 500 for transport if they live outside of Mtwapa, but a bottle of wine and two snacks are always available because I also like to converse and meet people, create a good relaxed atmosphere, laugh a little. And they are the same beautiful girls who will probably ask you at 3 o'clock in the morning at Casaurina 5000/7000 and more. They are right. If you are looking for sex at 3 in the morning in a club it means that you are willing to pay any price to let off steam. I don't eat at my house prostitutes in Casaurina style and then I dine with them and I have some more consideration than what I could have with any professional working girl. Those are good for a loser. If someone thinks that I pay little because I'm a scumbag must reread this post until they can understand.
I only do short times during the day (2 hours). I always tell them exactly what I want and it is 3000 ks take it or leave.
When they come they will always get a soda and a snack if they want.
I have never had a problem working this way in my 20+ years in Mombasa.
Has anyone been to Malindi in the last few month?
I may have a trip there soon for a weekend. It is many years since I last drove up the road from Mombasa and when I last did so you could say Malindi was closed it was that quiet. Like a ghost town.
Maybe it has picked up?
Hi all,
Seasoned punter here but first time visiting Kenya and would like some advice.
I have a month booked in October to visit. I was looking at Mombasa and Malindi. Could someone give me some advice as to prices of girls etc?Standard for mid-range girls is 3 k for short-time, 5 k overnight.
I give 5 k plus food or drinks, whether out or in my apartment. I usually have them sleep over at my place, and if they stay longer, I give 5 k per day. Even on the rare occasions they only stayed a few hours, because I didn't like much, I still gave 5 k. I wouldn't feel comfortable giving less. Because whether they have a job or not, whether they enjoy the company or not, they're usually with us for money and they judge their own worth based on the money they receive. If you have a 3 k-per-day apartment in Mtwapa, the girls have certain expectations; if it's a 9 k one in Nyali, they have different expectations. And I don't want to disappoint those expectations or negotiate. With most of them, I don't even talk about money: I just invite them for a meal or a drink, and when it's time to say goodbye 5 k or 5 k per day.

I have never had a problem working this way in my 20+ years in Mombasa. You must receive a very enthusiastic service for 3 k for 2 hrs. That's a week's salary for most girls. I just talked to a pizza baker in Mtwapa about her salary. She works 12 hrs a day in a pizzeria makes 18 k a month with experience, and she considers herself lucky because she can eat also and because 18 k is already above average salary. She used to work for Queen's Pizza in Nairobi for 15 k a month. She works 12 hrs a day from 6 am to 6 pm, 6 days a week. Giving a girl 2 k for 2 hrs maybe already generous enough, and even 1. 5 k is nice with food. Another girl I have known for years who is a chef in Meru makes 9 k a month working 7 days a week 12 hrs a day. A Security guard makes 10 k in Kakamega.

A friend of mine was attacked by thieves on her way home in the evening and lost a tooth, an upper canine. Poor lady, they beat her to death to steal her purse. Can any of you tell me how much it can cost to get a new tooth in Mombasa? She is a friend, I'm sorry, but I do not want to spend more than necessary. She did not ask me anything but I'm curious, thank you.

I have to be plucked like a chicken just because I live in a beautiful house? Do you want to pay 10000/20000/30000? Free to do so, if you have this money is right to spend it, but the consideration they will have of you is that of having a chicken in their hands and they laugh a lot about this.

Thank you, I tried to ask to the Aga Kahn for the tooth implant and they asked me 130,000 shillings. Obviously I did not even answer.I have checked a leaflet I have. It says implants start at 60 k up to 200 k. So you got a correct figure. Braces start at 80 k not 20 k so not sure why I had that figure.
How accurate that is in real time who knows but it is a dental leaflet I got in a dentist in Nairobi.

Thank you, I tried to ask to the Aga Kahn for the tooth implant and they asked me 130,000 shillings. In case, the org tooth is still available, it is possible to use it in a simple bridge. Otherwise, a bridge with artificial tooth should do the job, too.
Much cheaper option, because every good dentist should be able to do it.
And much less chance for complications.
One of my front teeth had to be extracted, because of paradontosis. My dentist kept the tooth, cut off the root and used it in a bridge, like mentioned.
And used some type of superglue for the bridge, because not problem for several years already. ( Org old ) tooth glued to the sides of neighbouring teeth.
I would be scared a bit to have an implant done in Africa. Simply question of high price (because of material) and small demand and low expirience of the dentist.
The price mentioned for implant might be OK, though, depending upon the material used, bought in USA or CH or the, for the better, but expensive stuff.
Usually, material from Korea or Israel should result in lower price.

Usual snacks like Nuts, Yoghurts, Muffins, Chocolate, Crisps etc.

A guy I know had grown fond of one of these girls and saw her often, sometimes he even invited his friend and three of them had fun. Then one night he woke up to find the front door open, they had left, taking a little of his money away. Who knows what they cooked for him ha ha ha poor thing. I have traveled the world a little in my life and I feel like saying that you can't have any doubts about women in Kenya, they are programmed to destroy you. A friend of mine told me this laughing openly: it's not our fault. Ha ha ha I think she's right, even a nun would be capable of deceiving you. Trusting them is certainly exciting, pure adrenaline flowing through your veins, but you always end up going to the emergency room to get your ass stitched up.

Ever tried to clean up after an African woman cooked in a western style kitchen?? In no time they all ruin your pots and pans. Most come from the village where the typical fare is cooked in the open simmering over a charcoal jiko. Same as cooking with gas. They usually burn all the stuff because they're not used to cook with gas. Most can't afford it. I NEVER allow anybody to cook in my kitchen. A number of my friends which are married have 2 kitchens. One African outside and another one inside. That's the way it is. Snacks yes. Or you get takeaway somewhere. But spare yourself the cooking experience. Best you take her for kuku and chips. They love it because they usually can't afford it. So. Don't overcomplicate things by taking her out to dinner. Utter waste of money. I've never heard of food poisoning. Usually drinks at home or in the clubs are spiked with all kinds of stuff. Like scopolamine. Just read The Nairobian. Of course if your lovely wife wants to kill you they use all kinds of stuff. Like rat poison. In Madagascar there was just a bad case of poisoning with indigenous plants. Over 30 people were killed.

Mwalimu. As per messing up the kitchen concerns, I could relate to that. It did happen the very first time, but I had them sit down and had a little talk about it. After that, they clean up after themselves. I heard about using jiko on an open fire, but my pots were not damaged. It just depends on the girl you have. Kenya nowadays is not like years before, every girl knows how to use a gas stove, they can't destroy the pot. I wonder how can a girl destroy the pot🤔 Maybe it depends on type of girl you have, but majority would clean if you treat them well. I have one Turkana girl from the Turkana lake region, maybe I will put her to the test. As per Kuku and chips concern, I 100% agree. I took 2 girls to a Brazilian all-you-can-eat buffet in Kilimani (Fogo Gaucho) and they just kept circulating around the buffet table. They ended up with almost nothing on their plate. They looked frightened and disappointed. Funny thing: as soon they set down with their mostly empty plate, the African waiter came out with fried chicken and chips special order that I haven't ordered. He admitted to us that as soon he saw the girls, he ran to the kitchen and placed on order for the Kuku and chips. Just by looking at the girls, he knew what will happen. Damn! By the way, the Brazilian joint is of high quality and fresh! As per poisoning by drinks concerns at home, I guess those who have short term girls need to worry more than those with long term chicks? I agree that wives are a diferent catgory I woudnt marry in Africa for sure.

I agree that wives are a diferent catgory I woudnt marry in Africa for sure. But who marries a girl in Africa? I'm not saying this with malice, I'm really curious. What do you tell your wives every day? Why did you marry them? How much has your life improved?
I fall in love with a different girl every week.

I fall in love with a different girl every week.I believe that getting help changing diapers is one of the main reasons for marriage between a muzungu and a Kenyan, then there is the desire to have all the money taken away.

Usual snacks like Nuts, Yoghurts, Muffins, Chocolate, Crisps etc.
I never let anyone cook for me. You know how many women drugs and poison men in Kenya!Read my recent story in Nairobi section. Had this chick that I thought became a best friend, talented in the kitchen, and poisoned and drugged me in the street. They're not going to do it in your home or hotel, especially if there are cameras in the building that see them coming in and out or if you have guards.
Best safeguard is not to ignore red flags, or just not make close friends, get a second airbnb just to smash, don't bring girls to your main spot. 20+ yrs of travel, 30 countries, Nothing. Arrived to Nairobi and I ignored the rules above that I followed everywhere else, and it happens and nearly fucking died.

It happened to me too that I was scammed even though I tried to be careful about everything. I'm sorry about what happened to you but let me tell something. Why do we have to become friends with these girls? Wouldn't it be much better to limit themselves to the use for which we just look for them? What emotions do we want to feel? For me, the thrill of fucking a twenty-year-old with a fairytale body is enough, I don't care (and in fact I keep away from it) about establishing a friendship. Friendship for what and with whom? Whit whom the next day gets fucked for money by another old man like me and to whom she tells the same nonsense? Disposable. And survive. Always respect the girl you meet but above all respect yourself and your intelligence. This is a general discussion, it is not directed towards you.

A friend comes back from Mombasa and tells me he made a mess, he basically got a girl pregnant who doesn't want to have an abortion. I didn't slap him because he's much bigger than me. He says abortion in Kenya is illegal and his beloved princess is afraid of the consequences. I told him that the world is big, it's not just Kenya and he can change destination if he fears that next time some relative will kill him with machetes. Money always solves everything. If you play without protecting yourself you have to have total control of yourself and sometimes it's not even enough. What to say? Pay a doctor and have her abort somehow or you disappear.

In any case, your friend has to give a damn and continue living his life. In Kenya, one in 10 women has a man who supports her. It is unlikely that one of these girls will be able to set up a castle of problems and even if this were the case, there are few dollars for maintenance.

Since Kenya has a hostile resident / retirement visa program, it's worth to analyze if their actions are justified. Here are the statistics: Approximately 14,000 Americans reside in Kenya. Mwalimu.$1000 year? No more! It's closer to 2 k a year. LOL. I'm not a minimum pensioner but paying 6 k for 3 year visa is way off the normal vs. The rest of the world. I don't see many whites in Kenya either, and certainly not that many minimum pensioners. In Nairobi Westland Kilimani Levington etc I couldn't see any older whites and only a few very young girls (low 20's) and some boys but dating only some light skin Indian looking girls. Where are those small pension wazungu? Mtwapa a few but come on! The few whites who wanted to retire now will go somewhere else. To filter out low pensioners is to have a minimum income requirement, which Kenya already has. That is 2 k a month. I have more than that but I don't want to pay 2 k a year! "To obtain a Kenya retirement visa (Class K Permit), applicants must demonstrate a minimum annual income of USD 24,000 derived from sources outside of Kenya. This income should be proven through documentation such as pension statements, investment records, or other legitimate passive income sources. " As you can see that by increasing the visa fee has nothing to do with filtering out low pensioners. They are actually scaring people away to other countries. I admit that by stopping the visa extensions they can force out those low income wazungus but I don't see that many of them to justify it. African countries have a right to be dumb. They're not going to attract American Social Security retirees. Those retirees would spend their money on nurses housekeepers on healthcare on living expenses on tourism on entertainment, etc. , inject money into economy creating jobs, but you're right the African government have a right to be stupid and sabotaging because of "fleecing the white men" and pride issues.

But there was a point in time when they raised it to 1000 $. Applications fell off a cliff at that time it was an exchange rate of 1 $ to 100 KES. Now the prices for K Permit went to 250 k a year. 2. 5 times. Now? Nobody sane applies any more. Except Bitcoin millionaires organized crime guys or well to do noble men who want to buy an estate in Kenya. But there's a simple solution which millions do. Become an undocumented immigrant. LOL. If you keep a low profile you can live in Kenya for years on end with an expired Visitor pass. I know white people do exactly that. They don't care. Same in Madagascar. In Uganda I met Brits who are in the country already for 3 years on tourist visa. These few white people are actually spending their pension money there. Versus the at least hundreds of thousands illegal immigrants of other African countries in Kenya. Go to a construction site in Mtwapa. All speak French. All from DRC. Millions of Somalis live illegal in Kenya. Most domestic helpers in Kenya are from Uganda. None with ANY kind of legal papers. LOL.

I contacted my friend who is working in Mombasa immigration. She told me that there is no change in immigration policy for visa extension. So it was just a rumour, luckily.I was going to write the same thing, no problem, we can stay more than 90 days with the visa extension. Unfortunately there is always some presumptuous idiot who enjoys spreading fake news. In truth the idiot is always the same, he is the one who says that Mtwapa is dead, that Kenya is dead, the one who writes a few words in Swahili thinking he is a protagonist. But it's just an extra. In fact, he is now in Madagascar where he can eat something with 2 dollars. Then he comes to this section to make miserable figures. Go to Kenya without fear, the news is absolutely unfounded.
I was going to write the same thing...Who did you ask?
I couldn't find a source then I did an AI search. From the Office of the Directorate of Immigration, in short, there's a policy change and they will no issue extensions as of July 31. Since I'm past 60 days, I will go to the Immigration office and ask directly. It may only have to do with the eFNS website. I want a 1st hand confirmation.

Apply through eFNS if it works it doesn't mean anything. You can go to any cyber in Mtwapa they fake it for you. Only problem when you leave. And. Do you think a lowly employee knows anything about change in visa policy? Zero.
I know it from the boss. And no. Not in Mombasa. In Nyayo House.

The 90 days of validity of the ETA are for its use. When you arrive in Kenya they give you the actual visa which, as in the past, lasts 3 months + any other 3 months.

Don't confuse Class K permit with regular visas and its extension.OK, this is about Class K permit, and senhor Neddy was later also talking about K permit. So it has changed? I have not used that myself.
I was talking about standard tourist visa for three months, and then three months extension for that, so six months, 90 days. That is what I am using, it should not have been changed according to my sources.
But, that web page which Neddy first put url, there they were talking about this tourist visa extension, that no extension after three months. Hopefully just a rumour.
That K-permit from the web page Questner presented here:"Applicants must have an assured annual income of at least USD 24,000 derived from sources outside Kenya. ", so you need to prove that you have income of 2000 dollars per month. That is a good pension in most of the countries.

And most retirement destinations in Central and South America require less. Panama and Costa Rica: Requires a minimum monthly income of $1,000 USD. Peru: $1,000 USD Colombia: Requires an income equivalent to 3 x Colombia's minimum wage, which was approximately $970 USD in 2025. Argentina: $1,390, Ecuador: $1,275, Nicaragua: $600, Philippines $800, Cambodia: No requirements. And finally Thailand: $2000! The same as in Kenya. However, the visa fee is max $400 per year. Kenya is out pricing itself vs. The most popular countries. Uganda impose even crazier prices than Kenya. They are purposely discouraging US / Canadian retirees moving to those countries. But the real dealbreaker is the $2000 us for visa fee per year! I don't know any popular retirement destination countries doing that, not even close.

About K-permit visa, I don't care right now. This discussion is little bit confusing. The point I'm trying to make is that K permit is too expensive and unrealistic, (that's all I was trying to prove) therefore the logical option was the tourist visa with extension. And that's what most of us were doing. However, the extension is no more allowed, it seems. We are stuck with Visa runs every 3 months, or some of us may choose to overstay or just move to greener pastures. I don't speak French, so Madagascar is not an option for me. Uganda could be an option since they offer extensions. I was also eyeing Zambia, but not much info available from that county. I was in touch with a couple of college girls on badoo years ago and those were very eager to meet white foreigners.

We are stuck with Visa runs every 3 months, Any conditions regarding visa runs, i. e. only allowed via air, or minimum stay abroad before coming back, or maximum number of runs per year, max. time allowed to stay in Kenya per year, etc. ?
I did visa runs from Thailand, which introduced more and more restrictions on this method.
My personal opinions of this. There are four main cities for mongering in East Africa: Mombasa and Nairobi in Kenya, Dar es Salaam in Tanzania and Kampala in Uganda. My favorite of these is Mombasa, and nowadays I just stay there, .Initially I was apprehensive about going to Mombasa. I was in Nairobi in March and it became my first love. Especially after I heard my friends in Ghana complaints. I honestly thought Mombasa would be a boring little undeveloped little beach city. The beach does not fascinate me as it may others. I live on the Atlantic coast. However, after reading Leblon's travel suggestions, I gave it much consideration.
When I arrived in Nairobi, I was met with Rain and cool weather. A friend who had the same experience told me he just packed his belongings and moved to Mombasa for better weather conditions. So MBA again came on the radar. I finally left Nairobi after five days of cold mornings and cool evenings. Mid 50's- low 70's. I just could not enjoy my vacation.
After two days in MBA, I'm thankful I made the choice to switch. MBA has the right environment and weather for me. The place is tourist friendly, easy to get around, and welcoming. Thank you Leblon as well as others for your insight and knowledge of these areas.

However, you are also saying that visa extension for the tourist visa is no more allowed. Like I said, my source in immigration says that nothing has changed. I am using this method, getting three months visa and then three more months as extension, so six months. Then I leave.

I did visa runs from Thailand, which introduced more and more restrictions on this method.I can only speak about the 5-Year Multiple-Entry Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) for US citizens only. You must leave after 3 months or extend it to 6 months and then leave. You can take any route you want to and come back the next day and stay another 3-6 months. The only advantage is that you don't have to reapply for the eTA for 5 years and no limits on how many times you reenter. To my knowledge, there are no restrictions other than the max 3-6 months staying.

Who does that? Bitcoin millionaires and retired gangsters etc? The average SS payout for retirees in the US is around 2 K a month now. Not everyone receives SS benefits. But those who do, that's the average now inflation (cola) adjusted. Why should those recipients pay one month of their income for the visa? Defeats the purpose of retiring in an affordably county. Also, many need better quality healthcare than these overcharging African countries provide. The only retirees who can adjust and live by these conditions are the Africa lover mongers like us, who are willing to take some pain for black pussy. The rest will avoid Africa as a retirement destination.
