There are no MPs in the alleys. And, if you did not find all the BBS in the back alleys, you were not in the right place.
The MPs are on the normal streets running both parallel and perpindicular to the back side of Jusco. I reckon there are at least 7-8 around the one block. I am talking about the block that is on the left side of the crosswalk after you cross the road behind Jusco.
I am glad to hear you had a good HJ, however, for future reference a 200-250 RMB tip usually gets you FS in most of the MPs in the area, but some places can be hit or miss for availabilty of FS.

I was in Shenzhen on 4th March. As guided, I took the subway to Kexe. And walked upto Jusco. I was lost a bit there as the reports here mentioned that back alleys. After prowling around for some time went under the arch to see the opening for the back side of the Jusco complex. Got down from the steps, crossed the road and bang infront there was a Massage Parlour. The time was around 11. 30 am. Perhaps I was one of the first customers. Language was an absolute problem. Had to communicate with the help of a calculator. Papasan quoted Y88 for two hours. Took a petite girl. Looks-8, boobs - 7 (around or less than 32a), GFE - 9.
It was a wonderful experience. Asked her to do a handjob and got out after nearly 1 and a half hour. Even today I remember the sweet experience. The girl asked Y200 but bargained for Y70 and ultimately felt happy to give her Y100.
A question though - it was suggested that there are number of massage parlours. Actually I prowled around the back alleys. Couldn't find any. May be I was too early?

Yes in my experience Hilton is very girl friendly at all times that I have tried (pre 2 am).
They have a big security guard in front and he looks in your eyes everytime but if you look back etc. No questions asked. Atleast for me.
Also I never paid him ever.
The street east from hilton has many opportunities.
But watch out for trannies etc.

KTV otherwise known as kick your tush every vich way need not be dificult to handle. Agreed these are high priced gouging the tourist thing, though the girls tend to be younger and prettier.
1. When you enter KTV there are two places to sit. One is like a regular bar and the other one is a room filled with many gadgets for singing etc.
If you take the room you are going to be a big spender because it comes with lot of hidden charges.
2. If you are a group who like singing take the room . If you are single looking for company stay at the bar. You can pretty much pick whatever girls there are. All you need to do is to be nice to mamasan. Remember there are many mamasans. Negotiate the price usually around 500 rmb for the whole night.
3. If you prefer a room, there are many things to watch out for. Many girls will try to crash your party . All you have to do is tell mamasan that you only want the girl you selected to stay with you. Next they will try to force you to drink a lot. Just go slow.They will bring foods completely unsolicited for which you will pay dearly.
4. Check the bill very carefully when you pay. They are experts in padding the bill. Generall they will expect you to pay 200 rmb to the girl if you dont want to take her home. I you do you don't have to pay that.
I have had a chance to test the current status of the two major areas, ShaZhui and Jusco. Both are currently up and running with no major problems in either area. Again I think Jusco girls have been around longer and are a bit more professional about it, while ShaZhui girls tend to be fresher to it but less skilled.
I had good times at both. Jusco girl was a who I have been with numerous times. Great shape and nice attitude, although her less than convincing 'ooooh' and 'aaaah' early in the encounters used to throw me off a bit, until I came to the conculsion that it helps her get in the mood. I noticed that at first her 'ooooh's seemed quite fake, but by about 10 minutes into it, they were far more convincing and by the time we were concluding (about 20 minutes) you could be quite sure they were real.
ShaZhui girl (xiao Yuen) was short but with very large rack. She was from Hubei, which would normally be a red flag for OAH, but not an issue for me. Dropped a bit of Hubeiese on her, to get her laughing. She had a real unusual laugh, which would be impossible to describe. She was more open to being fingered than most, and she was open to facing the mirror on the wall while I sat behind her and fingered her (a bit pulled a mussle in my arm though). Spent most of the time with her on top facing away from me. I have been using less positions unless I have unlimited time as I find girls respond better to continious action in shorter time periods.

also tried out a sauna at tsa tsui. chose pne of the nicest one around there. also because i saw the girls from this place in the side doors, and they looked hot. the price for the sauna is between 58-168 for two hour massages.

咀 is simply the simplified form of 嘴. In China, they use Simplified Chinese and elsewhere (HK and Taiwan) they use the Traditional form. They both mean the same thing - Mouth. Sha Tsui means literally "Sand Mouth".
I think it's safer to go with 咀 in China as I doubt many people will recognize the Traditional version of the same word.

The zui (mouth) character he gives *is* the simplified form. The other character is not the simplified form of zui, but is pronounced ju3, and means 'chew'.

If your language skills are shit, you will be better off showing the photo of the village gate with the name. Like Goderos said just about every taxi driver in Shenzhen knows where it is as I think it is about the 3rd most popular destination behind Lo Wu and Huangguang border crossings.

It’s OK for asking, since you ( Bill ) contribute to the forum. Don’t worry about. I have a dumb question myself about the different type sauna massages.They usually list about 4-6 basic types.
To add to the confusion, I believe Sha Tsui and Sha Zui are the same. One's is in Mandarin and the other is Cantonese. Not sure which is which. Then Xia Sha and Ha Sha are also the same or called, "Lower Sand". Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
There are three areas of Sha Tsui: Sha Zui, Xia Sha and Shang Sha. The other areas are WEST of Sha Tsui. From your picture of the Sha Tsui’s gate, you have to face the opposite direction and walk about 10-15 mins. I have been to all three areas. It’s mostly small sauna, KTVs and a few BBS in the other areas. Some parts, it looks more like a tourist area with newer shops for regular shopping.
Warning I just read a few days ago on another site (HK), that LE is still very active around Sha Tsui. The reports were from two different sources on the other site. Don't know how trust worthly is the information since I normally don't surf the web there. On the other hand, the information posted recently from ISG are saying it's back to normal?

great and cheap!
After some excellent food at the Nan Gang Yu Restaurant we went for a foot massage in the hotel.
It is too bad foot massage are not that popular in Europe it is so relaxing !
Asked the feet massage girl for a full massage in the room but she was too young and it was a mistake after the massage she try to rip me off asking for 5000 for FS, negociated for 20minutes saying that I will not go more than 400 (she was nice!), finally through her out of the room!
The grand holiday hotel is ideally located as many SW are around , I could count at least 40.
This time my choice was a older lady as wanted to be sure the job will be done properly.
Excellent service for 200!

I always make the same mistakes.
Yesterday some guy on the street gave me a name card for young prostitutes to visit you in your room. Well today I was too lazy to go out so I called that number. He first wanted to arrange me a russian girl for 1200 RMB. After negotiating for a while we ended up to a deal with a "young nice chinese girl" for a one hour visit and two times come. About 20 minutes later he called me and asked to pick her up downstairs. She was waiting in front of the lifts. The hotel guy would let her o with me - smiling.

I really miss the beach. I haven't found any information about dameisha or xiameisha beaches in the forum. Could someone recommend a good hotel for less than 400? I may bring my own, so mongering won't be necessary. I just want to lay on the beach and get some sun.
Also, will the Canton fair affect prices in Shenzhen and Dongguan? I hope to check out DG in a week or two. If everything will be more expensive later, i will make a point to go soon.

Dameisha Beach is on the way to She Kou. There are no hotels on the beach.
Many nearby hotels are available. Go to ctrip.com and register and search for hotels in Shenzen. I am sure you will find some close to the beach.
Was invited by OAH (Scholar and Gentleman that he is) to go to a monger convention in CP. Honored to be asked, but decliend as solo trips are my thing. I will agree to small hoard, but generally like to keep it small.
Headed to ShaZui in the mid afternoon. I like afternoon mongering, as the light is better so you have a better look at what you getting yourself into, or more accurately who your getting yourself into. A number of passes in the key area did not reveal anything special, so had to lower my standard down to 'quite nice'. A shop had a couple of girls that would fit that description, and after a bit of chatting picked a rather shy one from Hunan (one of OAH's favorite locations). Nice, but not super figure, and a nice enough face. One of those girls whos strongest points is that she does not have anything much negative about her. There are hotels at both Dameisha and Xiameisha. Dameisha even has a McDonalds! IMHO, the hotel at Dameisha is a little better, but the beach at Xiameisha is better. My reco is to keep going up along the shore to some of the smaller beach resorts. Since there is no bus service to these locations, there are many less people and the beaches are much cleaner. You will see advertising signs for these places along the road. Most only have those single beach huts right on the beach so don't look for a Hyatt, but I think I noticed a 2-3 star place at one of them.

Many nearby hotels are available. Go to ctrip.com and register and search for hotels in Shenzen. I am sure you will find some close to the beach.

Actually Daimeisha is still in Shenzhen just out of Yantian port/Shataojiao towards Daya Bay. You can get to it by bus or for RMB 100 by taxi from Luohu. Whilst the hotels are not on the beach, it is separated from the hotels by a mere road and one can easily get on it. You may want to pre-book the hotel but on my previous visits I had chanced it and instead walked in to bargain with the receptionists. I got various good discounts (depending on the day of the week and the season) and have on occassions gotten the room for a half day. It is great if you are with a companion as it is quite romantic. Daimeisha is just next to Xiaomeisha where there is a sort of Ocean Park. Quite a nice place - but do not expect the Beach experiences one gets in other parts of the world - no beach massages, hawkers, bikini clad beauties sunning themselves - or even many swimmers going into the water with you!

Sorry to correct the master but there are bus services to these locations as you pass Big Sand Beach before arriving at Little Sand Beach. Buses normally leave when full and stop everywhere so better to go by taxi. You will get ripped off on the way back as the taxis know you have to leave somehow.
Xioameisha has a particular hotel complex where you can rent bungalows near the beach.
As for mongering action, there used to gals that worked at night that you could go swimming with that let you "da bo bo" in the water but it has been a while since I have been out that way for fun. The beaches are more popular at night and very busy in summer than daytime given the Chinese aversion to tanning. They are lit up at night with floodlights in the high season. You can rent little puptents on the beach if you're in for a thrill.

If you want a sure way to get to ShaZui, you can take the #63 bus which terminates there. It is a 1 minute walk to the shops and you can not miss where the action is from the bus stop. It also ironically goes behind Jusco also. Maybe it is a mongerland special, I dont know. All we need to do is have it go by FuTian and we are all set. Where it also goes I am not sure. Next time I am by a bus stop that serves the #63 I will give a look.

I tried elong and ctrip. I will just take one of those hotels. I think la waterfront looks nice. I am sorry to use the forum like a travelling service, but this site has terrific information. I stumbled upon this site while planning a trip to Thailand. I probably saved $1000 with the info I found here. More imporantly, I did not look like a dumbass newb and spotted scams before i fell for them.
I hope to contribute more here, but my mongering is limited by the availability of freebies. Currently I am spending time with a 22 year old that picked me up at a restaurant. I was in SheKou again recently and had two night only there. First night I was with colleagues from local office so no chance to monger.
Second night I was alone and went to monger in SheKou bars and I soon found Hubei pretty girl for overnight in hotel (NanHai hotel where I always stay).

After spending months away from the scene - wasn't quite willing to have a go with the LE on the prowl - I finally gave in to my id, treating myself with a trip to Sha Tsui over the weekend.
I took the #63 bus from behind Jusco. As Tangzhen reported, the bus' final stop is right at the front door of Sha Tsui. You cannot miss where the action is once you get off the terminus.
I had sensory overload witnessing the sheer number of girls and establishments. I would've dropped to my knees and kissed the earth in reverence to such a spectacle - if the streets weren't muddied from the rain.
Wasn't quite sure what I wanted to try first. I wanted to first take my time and walk around the area first. It didn't take very long before a mamasan cornered me and persuaded me to do some business. She showed me about 7 to 8 girls, and I quickly settled on this cute, fair Hubei lass with substantial tits. Damage: 150RMB. Yes, Shangri-la is not girl friendly after 11pm and the security people will ask many questions.Actually I never had problem having girls coming over to my room after 11 pm (perhaps staying at the Horizon Club helps?). I've also figured out that many FLs (there is a sort of gang) go to the 360 lounge on the top floor and they have no problem to meet you in the room, well after 11.00 pm

I need a little help guys. I'm a newbie to Shenzhen but not this board, and trust me, I've combed through dozens of Shenzhen posts going back many months. There are many references to the area around JUSCO, and Weelock even referred at one point to a previous map. But for some reason his older posts are unavailable so I can't find it.
I'm staying on Taining Road in NE Shenzen and thought I'd hit the jackpot the first day--I saw a big store with big JUSCO sign, a block away. So I took a couple long walks around the area, day and night, and found....nothing. I THINK--not sure--I finally figured out why. Jusco is a CHAIN of stores and based on my google search, there are several in Shenzhen. The one near me, I'm pretty sure, is not the one referenced so often on this board.
So, can someone help out this poor Texas boy and give me either (a) street names/intersection, (b) a map (I've tried on google), or (c) name & address in Chinese?

Hi Westex. I didn't know there was another Jusco in the NE end of the city. The one everyone else is referring to is in a modern shopping mall (Zhongxing Guangchang, I think its called in zhongwen??) located at Shennan Rd in the Futian district. I'll try to see if I can find a map and post it. The hunting grounds are to the south of the Jusco and shopping mall.

Yeah, I think there may actually be three in town. My first time through I just told the cabbie that I wanted to go to the one closest to the Ke Xue Guan subway station as I had forgotten the street names.
For our Jusco journey, you are looking for ZhongXinGuanCheng on Shennan Lu. It is in LuoHu Qu (district) near KeShuiGuan (Science Museum). There are many ways to get there
1) get a taxi and say, ZhongXinGuanCheng zai Shennan Lu zai LuoHu. He should be able to figure it out even through a texas drawl.
2) you could go to the subway and get off (no pun intended) at KeShuiGuan and look around for Jusco. Stick to Shennan road, and you should see a fancy shopping mall with a big TV on the building, though that TV is often off.
3) Many, many busses go there, but you would have to know where to get off (no pun intended).
4) find someone who knows it and have them take you.
Lastly, once you arrive at Jusco, go behind it, (at the T at the street) cross the street and turn left and cross the small street and search that block. It will be pretty dry at first, but as you pass the police affairs office in the middle of the block, it should start getting more interesting. It is pretty slow there early in the morning, but there is a girl available there pretty much 24/7. After 4 pm the place is in full swing till about 2 am.

Xie xie to all my brethren below for the fine assistance—also to “Santa” who PM’d me. The least I can do is offer a rare (for me) report.
I speak a LITTLE Mandarin and despite currently living in Tejas, actually grew up elsewhere (mostly southeastern U.S.). so no Texas drawl yet…..y’all. The only thing I would add to TangZhen’s great advice is: have someone at the hotel front desk write down “ZhongXinGuanCheng zai Shennan Lu zai LuoHu” in Chinese. I got it across to the cab driver verbally, no problem, but for those with no Mandarin at all (or a real Texas drawl), better have it in writing.
The cab dropped me off at what I first thought—despite the detailed guidance below—was the front of the JUSCO mall. Big sign, lots of activity, so I walked all the way around the block before realizing I’d been delivered to Ground Zero at the beginning. The “front” of the mall is set back a little, with a park across the street as noted by others here—the back (where I’d been dropped off) is the more commercial area w/Chinese shops across the street etc.. Shenzhen newbies, if you stand under the big JUSCO sign looking away from the mall, the BBS places are concentrated in the block in front and to your left.
Those narrow alleys are a trip. I love walking through the alleys of Shanghai and Beijing (the only China cities I know a little) b/c there’s so much going on, but have never been mongering there. I’m more familiar with the bar pickup/SW scene in China and the lame MPs in Mexico. The “rabbit warren” of narrow alleyways in that one block across from JUSCO was one of my most interesting walks yet in China (even before the good sex). Plenty of BBS action as noted here, lotsa girls, but all interspersed with and hard by (no pun intended) the usual little neighborhood restaurants, laundry places, families watching TV & kids playing, that you always see in the back alleys.
I cruised back and forth through those little alleys for 20 minutes or so, just soaking it up, checking out the eye candy and getting a feel for the area. The BBS places had anywhere from a few to a dozen girls hanging around, mostly looking bored (who wouldn’t be) but sometimes calling out to attract my attention. There are occasional lady MP touts (mah sah JEE?!) but all of them were ugly IMHO and unlike the BBS places, you can’t see the mah-sah-JEE girls from the street. I liked the cafeteria-style of walking those alleys….you can make sure you see something tasty before you buy.
Which I did of course. There was a cute young thing (+/-20yrs I’m sure) in one place wearing a white top and “hot pants”….really nice butt (not as flat as the usual PRC gals), breasts a perfect handful—just the way I like ‘em—and innocent face w/shoulder-length hair. When I pointed her out to papasan she seemed reluctant, and I soon figured out why. Papasan held out his hands almost a foot apart, clearly referring to the big-foreigner-rumored-length of my xiao di di (sp?). Best way is the turbojet which leaves from Macau turbojet terminal. Take a taxi to the terminal. They have frequent sailings to HKG airport. Check your bags with them and get a ticket. They also have first class tickets. Once they land at the Hkg airport ferry terminal your bags will be brought to you.
In the terminal there are airline counters where they will check your baggage and give you a boarding pass. Also they will give you a voucher which you redeem after you cross the security check point. It is about 120 HKg dollars.After that a bus will take you directly to the airport departure terminal.
There will not be any immigration procedure. Go directly to your gate and board the flight.
By the way the ferry takes between half hour to forty five minutes.

Glad things worked out in the end. You make a good point, that taxis typically drop you off in the back, and unless you know Shennan Road, it might seem like the front, though once you see the front you can tell.
If it is the first time there, it is a good idea to cruise it for a good 20 minutes. Even though I have been there once or twice myself, I always give it is good slow cruise even though I am 95% sure which shop I will wind up in. My routine is to buy a small bottle of water and take sips while doing my cruise. Cant tell you why, give it a try next time and let me know.
As for tipping, 20rmb is not a big deal and wont ruin the market, I sometimes give a tip, but if you want more bang for your buck (npi) you are better off to go to Watsons in the mall and buy a 10rmb facial mask and take it with you in a bag. If you like the girl, and it went well, gift her with the mask, if not then keep it yourself and enjoy a younger looking you! She will much prefer it that way compared to 20 rmb. I never give the girl the money directly, rather I just leave it for them in a spot where it is clear I left it. Never had any problem about it, though again no real reason cant give them money directly.
Lastly, one little thing I like to do, when going up stairs with the girl and she is leading the way, hit (not hard) or slap her on her butt. Wierd but they like it, makes it more playful and helps break any tension. I will normally do it at least twice on the way up, the first time I will pretend it wasnt me who did it and the second time I will look her in the eye and make a funny face.

Was in Shenzhen for a few days for business and finally had a chance to do the (in)famous Jusco/Sha Tsui/Wal-Mart Triangle I've been reading about forever. I think it was more relief than elation when I finally set my eyes on the pink lights of Shenzhen.
I'm relatively comfortable financially and enjoy my luxuries if I want them but also like getting my money's worth. Which is why when it comes to P4P, I'm mostly a BBS guy. Case in point, I'm walking the Jusco area when I see this 8+ walk out of a variety store and all I can do is stare because it seems like she's all legs and breasts with a hot face to boot. Naturally I follow her assuming she's either a non-pro or a ktv type girl. So imagine my absolute delight when I see her head to the Jusco BBS area and take a seat in one of the shops. You can bet that I didn't let her get too comfortable in her chair!

Had the chance to go have some Sandy Lips today, and for
those who don't know, that is Sha Zhui (沙嘴) in Chinese.
Actually checked out the Fuxing Walmart area first but that area
just pales in comparison. There were about 7-8 shops open, few
gals and but nothing more than a weak 7 in my opinion so I got
to the end of the Walmart street, and directly across the street
from the Vienna Hotel is the #63 bus stop which terminates
at Sandy Lips. Takes about 15-20 minutes with smooth traffic.
Got off bus and looked around. It was kind of early at 5pm,
so things were just getting in full swing but plenty of gals,
HK guys, touts, and little kids as usual. Random cops patrolling
the streets, but I've I've never regarded them as anything more
than glorified, harmless background props and if you don't act
like an ass, no problems.
Actually took me a while to get approached by touts and was told
they thought I might be an undercover cop...what the hell? I always
get this shit and let me ask those of you who have seen me, isn't itFor
laughable??...but anyway...
Got the first lineup and was pleasantly surprised. Quality ranged
from 5s to a solid 8, and they all seemed happy/amused that I was a
young guy. Decided on the scientific combination of "cuteness" and
"good gut feeling" and chose Xiao Chen (picture 1).

after you are throough the exit formalities and customs, turn left when you get out. there are counters for buses to almost any place in hk. the problem is that it is mostly only written in chinese as i remember well (i know my bus and can read some chinese). you may need to ask. hopefully soeone speeks english if you don't speak chinese.
the price to jordan (austin rd.) is around 30 during the day to around 35 at night. slightly cheaper with octopus

I always use the last counter (Blue and White buses). They have 24 hour bus service to Mongkok for 35 HK$, 32 with Octopus. The signs at the counter are in English and the buses have Mongkok on the side in English too. They also offer service to Wanchai and another place I can't remember.

The cost LO WU is far from shekou taxi 40 rmb 35 min , Shekou ferry to zhu hai ferry terminal is about one hr cost is around 80 rmb , I take this last month , You should spend a day or 2 in zhu hai , gongbei is the border to macau , I stay in zhu hai and take a day trip to macau just walk across the
border hotel is much cheaper in zhu hai but you need to get a multi entry visa
taxi from ferry terminal to gongbei border is 18 rmb about 20 min .

There is a direct ferry from Shekou to Macau. But first there are only very few silings per day, maybe as little as 2. Secondly they don't arrive at the same ferry terminal as the ferries from HK, but at a very small one. I have taken it once from Macau to Shekou and the cost was a little over 100 as I remember.
So to reach Macau Airport from Lo Wu I would go through Kowloon. There you have sailings every 30 minutes. From TST east you can easily walk through Kowloon park if you don't have luggage. Else a taxi would cost less than 20 HK$. Ferry price is 130 if you buy from the travel agent next to the ticket counter during daytime (sailing latest at 5.30). In the morning before 10 am it is 10 HKD more. Not sure about the price on weekend, holidays.
Lo wu area to shekou by taxi is approx 78 RMB. I usually take the 11.45 am ferry to Macau. Ferry takes approx 1 hour and fifteen minutes. It goes to a ferry terminal at the end of ribiero street. Waiting time through the immigration is very short unlike the maritime center. From there take a taxi to Macau airport about 40 hong kong dollars.
The schedule you can get by going to Macau tourist board website.

Made a quick trip down to ShaZui. The area is pretty much normal status. After a quick search I ran into Xiao Di. Short and a bit wide but with a great rack. I have never taken a bus in Shenzhen or in Macau.
If you want to save some money you can take the Metro to the window of the world which is the last stop and then take a taxi from there.

What do you guys recommend if my prime criteria is to get off as cheaply as possible without staying in a complete dump and not leaving my hotel much before 10AM? I'll need to be at the Macau airport by 1:00PM, and noon would be better. Should I stay in Macau? If so, any recommendations on where and how the best way to get there from Shenzhen? I wouldn't mind having some fun that night, but t is not a must. I speak a (very) little bit of Mandarin and no Cantonese. I know my way around Hong Kong pretty well, but have only spent one afternoon in Macau. I was going to PM you however I am posting it here since it might help other members. It happens that I am catching the same flight that you use to go to Bangkok at 2:20pm because we are going to Bangkok on Air Asia. So if I catch the 11:45 ferry I would arrive at the Macau airport by 1:30pm? Is this enough time for the 2:20pm flight? Do I then catch a taxi to the airport from the ferry station? I think if your flight is at 2:20pm or later, you can take the 11:45am ferry (I hope). If it is earlier you might want to go to Zhu Hai, which is like Shenzhen with all the girls and everything. The hotel in Zhu Hai is about the same price as Shenzhen between 250-350 depending on which hotel you want to stay at then in the morning just walk across the border and take a taxi to the airport.
I would do that except the friend I travel with want to spend all the time in Shenzhen and then go directly to Macau airport otherwise I would prefer staying in Zhu Hai for one night. You can post on Zhu Hai board to see which best hotel to stay for value.

You will have enough time because Macau airport is not crowded at all and it takes only 5 to 10 min max to check in and be at the gate.
In Shekou you go to the same ferry terminal. There is only one terminal. From there you can take many ferries e.g HKG airport, Macau.
Macau ferry terminal for that ferry is at the end of ribiero street. If anybody has been to Macau it is the main street going through downtown from Casino Lisboa.
Once you come out of the ferry terminal take a passing taxi to the airport.
Last time I took Tiger Air flight to Clark it was at 2.40pm. I wonder whether they changed the time now.

Having said that, I've noticed that the Futian WalMart area seems to get going the earliest with even some BBS reasonably well stocked around 11:00AM. Jusco starts a little later around 2:00-3:00PM. Sha Tsui also has a few stragglers in the afternoon and some of the FS saunas there are open 24/7.

I have taken Air Asia flight to BKK leaving at 2.20 pm.
You will have enough time because Macau airport is not crowded at all and it takes only 5 to 10 min max to check in and be at the gate.
In Shekou you go to the same ferry terminal. There is only one terminal. From there you can take many ferries e.g HKG airport, Macau.
Macau ferry terminal for that ferry is at the end of ribiero street. If anybody has been to Macau it is the main street going through downtown from Casino Lisboa.
Once you come out of the ferry terminal take a passing taxi to the airport.
Last time I took Tiger Air flight to Clark it was at 2.40pm. I wonder whether they changed the time now.

They are a few minutes walk east of the ShangriLa Hotel. The hotel is at the last metro stop, near the train station. There are always a few mamies walking around and a daytime walk may be ok. A few cheap restaurants and foot massage places. But some of the girls don't like "white devils", so Jusco may be a better option.

I think the main problem is that The City of Shanghai is much bigger than Shenzhen, and therefore there are more place to monger.

Tested the ShaZui area at about 1:30 on Sunday. Of course it has about only 1/2 the girls compared to during the evening, but it was enough. I a bit went away from my typical method of finding the girl with the hottest figure, and went with a nice looking, but a bit more plain girl. This has never happened to be before at Jusco. I'm feeling like it could have been us. It's close to holidays. There wasn't much mongering traffic, and we probably stuck out. As we walked the main street (behind Jusco) there were 4 officers going into the massage places.
We stopped for a coffee at Starbucks. I was curious to go back and see if they'd left or if the shops reopened. There was fear in my buddies face. He'd had enough I so decided to leave this episode to better mongerers than us to figure it out.

From local chinese sex forum. I can read chinese. Both the victim and suspect should be local mainland chinese. Noone is caught. You cannot expect much from the police there. Anyway, it is not very safe in Shenzhen right now, lots of police action. Though it is still safer in Hotel or else, go further to Dongguan.

Well, if Jusco is not particularly wise at this moment, I might suggest a place that is just about the same distance from the Diwang building as Jusco is. I do not know what the name of the urban village (cun) is but the directions from Diwang are:
--Walk up Baoan lu about 600 meters and take a right at the third street, Hongli lu.
--So, walking east, go one hundred meters and turn left (north) at the traditional Chinese stone village pillared gate.
--In the north-south side alley just to the left (west) of the village's main alley/street are about 5 shops.
I thought the quality of the young ladies was good. At this one place, the only place I enquired at, Mamasan started out with 150 rmb and I did not haggle. The gals at the place ranged from 18-25 according to the young lady I had and she was nice, if inexperienced, and the mamasan called up after an hour.
Try it out and give me some thoughts.

Humm, I recall reading in ISG they install video surveillance camera in some parts of Jusco a while ago. I hope they have some video to catch the person or people. It just take one person to spoil it for everyone else.

Dar425 do NOT, I repeat NOT, get your hair done at any place that sells sex! These two do not mix well. The whole BBS thing is a front at certain places because they need to have some business lisence and brothel was somehow not an option. It originated in Taiwan I believe. I know it may sound tempting but to have sex while you get your hair cut is NOT WISE.
There are plenty of good places to get your hair done, depending on your budget. You can tell these places as the chairs face the mirrors and have guys with scissors and a bunch of bottles of shampoo that have recently been used. Sex shops tend to have a bunch of girls watching TV facing the outside and dressed like prostitutes.

lo wu border bus stations ,taxi will cost you more than 300 rmb , Shenzhen shekou bar area near ocean world that isall the expat at all pro andfreelancer go there to meet foreigns .
there are many legit barber shop , I got an hair cut with shampoo at sha tsui
for only 15 rmb , the bbs girl don't how to cut hair just a front , If you want

Several hotels in Shekou including Ming Wah, Nan Hai. Many bars and restaurants catering to foreigners.
But why stay in a hotel in Shenzhen and go to HK every day?
The fare (HK$200) I gave before is for HKG airport. Think its about half that to central.
Any one know if you can buy multiple trip tickets or even use Octopus card?

Sorry to hear you got delayed in your travelplans due to public holiday in Hong Kong. But the Visa office at the Lo Wu boarder should be able to issue you a Shenzhen visitors visa, unless you are a US citizen, wheras there might be some problems with that issue. Anyway, visitors visa for Shenzhen is still possible to get at the border. As far as I recall the "visa" should be valid for 5days and remember it is for Shenzhen area only, since it is issued by the Guangdong provice, Shenzhen city Gong An/Security Bureau. Basicly, after you have obtained the visa, you could move around Guandong and all over China, as long they don't check your document and you get out of China via Shenzhen again, within the given time, although this is not recommended.
The visa office is located up one level right after crossing the brigde from Hong Kong immigration. Althoug holiday in Hong Kong, this visa office is open. Another option you might go for, could be to visit any of the China Travel Services branches and see if they can arrange a "express" visa for you.

Hmm, I think you are right about this. After reading thru almost 8 months and what seems like hundreds of post I may have combined the details for the 2 places.(Jusco and Sha Tsui)
As I have never been to this part of South China (been to HK only), how do the taxi normally charge you here, is it by meter (if they have one?) or is it a negotiated price to destination.
Also what would be the normal prices for a trip across/ or out of town (longer trip to airport) and for shorter trips (hotel to BBS) as I dont plan to be ripped off with an unwanted sightseeing taxi ride around the city.
As I also intend to visit GZ and CP, if taxi structure differs in these places, please let me know.

about 15 min , Shenzhen is a big city bus or subway is better for longer trip
system is not as good as hong kong , For cp or guangzhou trip is better to
take the train 60-80 rmb taxi will cost over 250 -350 rmb .
CP taxi have no meter it is a small town most trip is only 15 rmb is a van or
moto bike 5 rmb , most shenzhen and gz taxi have meter very cheap but most

Try it out and give me some thoughts.I was at Dongmen last night, so I decided to check this place out. As mentioned, you can find this cun by going northwards on Baoli Rd. till you reach Honggui Rd. Turn right on Honggui and keep walking till you find the Chinese-style arch that's the entrance to this urban village. The BBS are all on one side of the area.
At first I wasn't sure if I'd actually use any of the girls there; for all I know I could end up having the cops on my ass. But I found a girl who resembled the sister of a friend of mine. She was also wearing glasses - I think she's only one of two or three working girls there who wear them.
To make a long story short, I chose her. BBBJ and FS for 150 RMB. No French kissing, but the BBBJ made up for it. I did most of the work, but I was in the mood to be on top last night, so I can't say if she is a dead fish. I wasn't complaining at the time.

I will be there for a few days. I do not speak any Cantonese or Mandarin and am caucasian. I think I may stay at the Hilton, since it seems to centrally located. (Any other recommendations?)

First, props to Westex to describe where to walk to find the BBS shops. I could not access ISG from my Shenzhen hotel, so I made a guess (wrong guess Dar baby!!). I was feeling like Santa did not bring to me any gift, but then I went to world.altavista.com and asked it to read the ISG website, and BAM! it worked. Westex's directions helped me to find the BBSs near to Jusco.
Overall, the Jusco/CITIC BBS's were NOT easy to find for this gwai-loh, but mission complete.
I was at Jusco about 22:00. There were a number of BBSs... but I was expecting a crazy circus of shops... but the shops seemed spread out from each other. So, I think there is BBS action, but not at it's peak, because you guys make it sound like wall-to-wall BBS.

I felt the urge to flame you but before I did I decided to read your prior posts. Even though most of your posts were asking for info on different boards (rather than your RTFF) you did give some good reports about HK.
I would be careful looking for a LT when arriving in SZ. Whether it is a girl from a BBS, on the street or one of the pimps it is a potentially dangerous situation. I would recommend going to a higher end massage place..choose a massage girl that you find attractive, and do your best to flirt with her during the massage. I recommended you learn some basic phrases. After the massage ask the girl for her mobile number (show her your mobile phone). You can also ask her out to eat.

Hop the train..it is much easier and cooler. If you get on at LoHu it is just 4 stops away to Jusco. If you know where you are walking it could take you 30-45 minutes to walk to Jusco from LoHu.
I was just at Jusco with another friend when a group of Police came and closed down the shops. They did not arrest the girls nor the momies however they did pull the metal doors down and put a couple of government tapes on each of the shops. I asked someone and they said that no one except for the police can remove the government tapes so I guess Jusco is closed for now. I will check on it in a couple of days to see if they are operating again.

As i've been informed earlier, I think you should be using Kexuan Guan station as this is closer to Jusco.

Man, I haven't been to that part of the city in years.... Too much time in Futian lately I guess. Anyway, there are opportunities to be had. At the Airland hotel right next door, you can go to the sauna and order a massage to your room. I'm sure the girls would be willing to go next door. Anyway, the price back then was 400 yuan. Don't know if it's changed or what. If you're willing to go down to Xiaomeisha, there's a couple of KTVs there in the 3 star hotels near the beach. The KTVs are pretty crappy compared to places like Golden Times, but they do have the occasional stunner. All night should be 800 RMB. Back in my heyday, when I used to get bored, I'd get a room and get like 5 girls and then take them all back to my hotel at 2 in the morning.

But if you stay there, why not stay at NanHai just 2 minutes walk away? You can negotiate a really good rate there - incl breakfast - so the price difference is minimal, and it's worth the difference for the extra comfort and security.

A couple of comments.... First, unless you have business there or like the beach, why stay in Shekou? It's far from everything except the expat hangout bars which are full of over the hill former BBS or KTV girls.
Second, you can get much better hotel rates by just calling up or appearing in person. Posted rates are very high at almost all hotels, but you can negotiate much better rates by callilng and even better than that if you appear in person. If you know someone who has business there, you can also try to negotiate a company discount rate. Lastly, if the hotel has a KTV or sauna, you can try to get the entertainment manager to set up a reservation too. I've stayed at a couple dozen hotels in the Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Dongguan area and except for one time at the China Hotel during the Canton Fair, I've never payed more than 560RMB and that includes the very fine Sheraton in Dongguan.

I get my local agent to book NanHai. The usual price I pay is RMB350 discount rate but for this I get the superior room to the front that it usually will cost maybe 700 per night. (Of course if the hotel is full booked there are no room upgrades, so I have the room at the back with the waterfall. Still okay but I prefer the front room with beach view.)
And I get the free breakfast. I also often invite my "overnight guest" to breakfast also and just smile to the waitress or waiter if they ask for a coupon and they just shrug and say okay.

Try the Hedong hotel just off shennan lu. It is across from the mixC mall. It is a girlfriendly 3 star. I think you can find them on Ctrip or Elong. They have 208 and 238 rates. There is not much to the hotel, but it is in a great location. This is in the luohu area. Jusco is a 12 yuan taxi ride away or take the subway to Ke Xue Guan( I don't know if that spelling is right). In another post you spoke of only wanting very beautiful women. I think you won't find many in Shekou. However, there are many beautiful freebies available in Luohu and Futian areas. If you have enough time, that is.

I think you missed Louhu. On Futian, I heard that the area surrounding the new Shangri-La Hotel will be the new financial centre for SZ.

It is quite possible to head up and back in one day. Many of the local punters do it often. You might have a problem with getting oriented if it is your first trip. It helps that you are a chinese speaker. The taxi drivers are mostly pretty knowledgeable.
My favorite mode of transport is the bus which leaves Wanchai ferry pier in Hong Kong and takes you to the Lok Ma Chau border, where you alight and pass through Hong Kong immigration. Then get back on the bus and go to the China immigration at Huanggang. You then can catch a taxi on the other side of the china border. There are many bus services from different areas of Hong Kong to the Huanggang border.
Sha Tsui and Jusco areas are both within a 15 minute taxi ride from this border crossing. They are about the same from the Louhu boarder, maybe a bit longer.
BBS is a disquised barbershop, correct. Most of them in Shenzhen are filthy rat-holes so don't expect luxury. Most everything is on offer and yes you can usually choose the girl. Going rates are RMB 120 to 150 but they will try to extract more.

I made my first trip to SZN last week; and, thanks to the previous posts and all the contributors, had a pretty good time. We stand on the shoulders of all who came before, so I hope to make my small contributions as I am able.
First, as a way of introducing myself, I am Korean-American and can therefore be mistaken for a local. I don't, however, speak a word of Mandarin. I picked up useful phrases from guidebooks, and numbers such as "yibai wu" (150), but not much else. Also, as I am on the adventurous side, and a reasonably experienced/careful traveller, I went around alone.
Second, due to some crime in the Jusco area as mentioned on previous posts, and a recent national holiday, I understood mongerers needed to be extra careful. I, therefore looked around Jusco, but did not see much. Instead, I walked over to area around the Diwan building and Dongmen. In case you want to find it, I'll repeat with additional details. But please be sure to read my little warning below before venturing there. Travelling from the Laojie metro stop, exit through "A" and turn right. This seems a major street until you get to the Diwang building. You can find pictures of this on various websites, but essentially it is the tallest building in SZN with a tower-like structure on top. With that building across the street from you, turn right onto Baoali. Go three street to Hongui, and turn right. As you walk down the left side of this street, you will see Chinese stone pillars marking the entrance to this area. The whole track from the metro took 25 minutes. The BBS are on the street parallel to the main street on the left, as well as the alleyways.
My warning: There were several uniformed "police" walking around, by my count 12. This is not that big an area! And, there are cameras looking down most/all of these alleys!
I quickly found a nice large breasted, decent looking temporary girlfriend, agreed on the quoted 150 without negotiating, and went upstairs. The room was very basic and on the dirty side, but I wasn't there really for the decor. The service was ok, with me doing half the work on top, and switching to reverse cowboy. Overall pretty enjoyable, and the breasts jumping up and down made the whole thing worthwhile!
Afterwards a quick shower and I left myself, I think for security reasons. I looked out the gated doors for any signs of LE, then left the area quickly. On the way out, passed the same dozen or so LE.
Overall, not the best but pretty enjoyable. And, now that I can think clearly, suspect it was a somewhat dangerous situation that my "little friend" made me jump into.
I left and went to Macau afterwards, which was eually fun but in a different way. Will post on that thread if anyone is interested.
I went by Jusco area today and can report that it is business as usual. In fact I asked a couple of girls who said there was no 'yan da' and that the drop in girls was the normal 'wu yi' vacation. In fact one of my fav just got back a couple of days ago. She had not herd of any death in the area, and doubted there was one, or she said she would have herd.

I have some experience with BBS back in Suzhou, during my month stay, but have yet to try the Shenzhen locals. Maybe if there is some seasoned experts here that have the time to show me around, it would be greatly appreciated.
In my opinion it is not that hard. Just go to Zhong Xin Guang Cheng and go to the back side, cross the street, and turn left to cross the street at the 'T', Go to the back of that block of buildings and go give a look. Make a plan not to buy the 1st time, only take a look, walk slowly and I am sure you can figure out what to do. You know the price schedule, just remember to confirm it down stairs. More shops are open later in the day, but I saw a nice hottie there are 10AM the other day. PM me and I think I can come up with a satelite photo. It is not real rocket science, though some Chinese skills are a real plus for good service.

Just completed my first visit to Sha Tsui, first a comment on the name. This place is actually pronounced Sha Jui or Sha Chui, do not try to pronounce it as tsui. It is very eary to get here if you print out the picture of the gate that has been posted on the forum. BTW, I believe the actual spelling of the place is Shazui. Anyways, I got to this place ~7:00 on wednesday and proceeded to walk around the main street and the alley ways. Every where you go there are stores with a bunch of bored girls inside. Grimey? I find the rooms to be cleaner than the other areas in town, even with a stack of fresh towels to use in some of the apartments. Seedy? Not the most seedy by a long shot. Try the catacombs in CP for grimey/seedy.
By your description, I reckon that the girls in black may be normal employees of a KTV, but I cannot be certain without seeing them.
My advise is always ask for what you want in advance e.g. BBBJ, to avold disappointment later. Another suggestion is to go for a line-up with the mamas. This way you can see around 20-30 girls in one shot and get a look at the accomodations at the same time.

That's why they had those demonstrations there last year. Chinese don't like Japanese.
The deal with catching people who are exiting China with pirated DVDs (and Rolex watches, or Vutton handbags, etc), is that certain industries give reward for catching their products.
What happens is that some organization, like the MPAA/RIAA, talks to the Chinese Customs Office and declares a reward for catching people trying to exit China with pirated DVDs. So, during that time the chinese customs agents are more aggressive about searching for pirated DVDs, and thus fining people caught with them. I have been to SZ oodles of times, but I confess that I have no idea where is Shui Wei Cun, Huanggang Cun, or Fuqiang Lu. However, I do like the idea of a variety of massage places to choose from.

I do agree giving a gril a tip if her performance are good however I would not just tip a girl just for being there.
