Ticuan is my go to for overnights in Tijuana. A few things though you should know when checking in. Tell them you want a room with a window otherwise they will put you in an interior windowless one. All the rooms are nice but also request a room that does not face Revolution as it can get loud late into the night. Fast and fare room service there as well. La Mansion and Hotel Premier are similar in price $32, but I prefer Premier as they have furniture that is unique for sex and lots more mirrors as well. I use these when I'm in the mood to cum and go. Musas and Cumin Tijuana are two great agencies. Mathilda (Cumintj) is my go to for now as she checks all my boxes. I have had dozens from there and they are all as advertised. Musas is as well. Communication can be done with translators and I have not found it to be a problem but it is a bonus if they speak English and less awkward if you decide to go for round two and fill the time in between. Definitely the right call not to stay in the zona. The hotels there are basically short time hotels and the zone itself is not very comfortable. It doesn't really attract the right kind of people. Us excluded of course.
Since you're going to be there for eight days, be sure to check out the non-monger scene. They are great restaurants, beer bars, microbreweries, etc. All around the city. While they aren't all cheap, they are cheap relative to American standards. Especially if you come from a big city.

Now if you want more time you just pay more but by the time you pay for that much time you might as well just go to a regular hotel.
