Was in Sharks last Friday 8th Nov. Got there about 4 pm and left around 2:30 am.

I must add that the food at Sharks has distinctively improved since my last visit in October. Every single dish was good and tasty, and the meats are now prepared differently from the past. The chicken was soft, the pork was tender, and there were dishes like chilli con carne, different type of pastas in attractive sauces. New high quality desserts too, with very creamy fillings and nuts on top, in addition to the usual ones. And different pizzas every day.
Breakfast offerings are also greatly improved. There is a whole selection of 'gourmet' cheeses of all types, including one with a smattering of truffle sprinkles (although I suspect it is mainly truffle oil to give it the flavour). And the fridge now offers other raw fish, in addition to the smoked salmon at the buffet table.
I think they have hired a new chef or have increased his budget significantly.
In comparison, food at Oase is as shitty as ever. Tough meat that I had to throw away, and the usual very limited offerings. Leftover food at breakfast seems to be recycled for dinner, or it could be that they just prepare large amounts to be doled out over the course of the day. And the greatest disappointment for me is that there were no sunnyside up eggs in the 2 days I was there this week. Just dry scrambled eggs.

Went earlier this month. It was my 2nd time at Sharks, still not used to how crowded it gets. I visited twice during my stay, I'll combine the experience into one though.
The selection of girls was pretty good, seems like there's something there for everyone.

Simple things really. The most common place to loose items is in your robe pocket. Even a pack of smokes and a lighter is not safe in your robe pocket!

And as before, while it runs every 10 minutes in the day on weekdays, the frequency drops in the evening and ends at 10.30 pm. It is less frequent on Saturdays, and it only runs hourly on Sundays.
One change that DID happen about a year ago is that it no longer starts outside the Darmstadt station, but at a makeshift bus stop outside the kino about 1 block away. Thus, when you look at the electronic signboard in the station, the R bus to Nordbahnhof is no longer listed (but the bus going the opposite direction to the sports stadium is still listed as the return trip still stops in front of the station.)
Those planning to take the Airliner should note 2 changes since November:
1. It is back to the old (faster) route as the bridge reconstruction has been completed.
2. Cash is no longer accepted. Need to use an acceptable credit card, or pre booking. I saw one oriental guy not being allowed to board the bus as his credit card (or whatever card he showed the driver) was not accepted.

When I was there last month, the R bus was still running as before with no change in the timings. And as before, while it runs every 10 minutes in the day on weekdays, the frequency drops in the evening and ends at 10.30 pm. It is less frequent on Saturdays, and it only runs hourly on Sundays.
One change that DID happen about a year ago is that it no longer starts outside the Darmstadt station, but at a makeshift bus stop outside the kino about 1 block away. Thus, when you look at the electronic signboard in the station, the R bus to Nordbahnhof is no longer listed (but the bus going the opposite direction to the sports stadium is still listed as the return trip still stops in front of the station.)
Those planning to take the Airliner should note 2 changes since November:
1. It is back to the old (faster) route as the bridge reconstruction has been completed.
2. Cash is no longer accepted. Need to use an acceptable credit card, or pre booking. I saw one oriental guy not being allowed to board the bus as his credit card (or whatever card he showed the driver) was not accepted.Good points!

It was free for me because the driver had problem with the card reader, he tried to charge me but gave up and told me It was OK anyway.
