Any recent reports from Insomnia?Went to their Thursday GB event a couple of weeks ago. Numbers were definitely down due to their new membership fee introduced in September. All attendees, even the private ladies and couples, have to be a member now. E30 for 6 months or E60 for 12 months.

Quick answer: No, English will not hurt the experience. And Asian guys are welcome just like any other guy. Germany, especially in its sex culture, genuinely welcomes everyone.

While speaking only English will not "hurt" your experience in Insomnia, it will sure limit your *social* experience. In Insomnia, many of those who come are regulars. They know each other and they socialize with each other most of the time, besides having sex. So you will notice many groups of 2-3 people on the bar socializing in German. They will not switch to English except if they have to (if you engage with them in English, they'll answer back). So expect to be more "alone" when it comes to socializing if you only speak English. So I visited Insomnia the other week on a Thursday. I got there around 4 pm or so. It actually makes no sense to go earlier. Unless you want to see fat old naked guys hanging out. NOT MY THING.

What you described is the standard experience in Insomnia: multiple fucks, some beautiful ladies some ugly ones, some high times and some slow times. A clean and well-maintained place with decent management. Some nice customers and some annoying ones. And suitable food to help you keep going.
The bottom line is that you managed to have sex more than once, and never felt looked down upon or rejected because you aren't German. You also had the chance to keep clean, have a rest and simply enjoy the scene around you when you were having a break.

Visited Insomnia last night and sadly I left massively disappointed. It was Boxing Day. Dec 26th. So expectations were not high, but it was advertised as their 'Charismas swingers and sex party' so maybe I would luck out. I had left Artemis earlier that evening at around 9:30 PM because the state of affairs there was abysmal. I made it to Insomnia by 10:30 PM.

I've visited the webpage of Insomnia and apparently the club is far from being back to normal. They have all these annoying COVID restrictions and only provide 'live streaming' and 'table viewing'. Which is completely not what the club is all about. I mean it defies the sole purpose for which the club exists: having orgies and sex.

Has anyone tried Insomnia recently? If so, how was the experience? Would be nice to receive recent reports after a very long hiatus at the club.
So they have been back to parties since September. The Thursday Gangbang is finished, and just a regular swinger party on a Thursday night now. I don't see any house girls in the registrations for the upcoming parties on their site.
I think they only have house girls for the Saturday night fuck, to perform the sex shows, but not sure if they fuck the customers or not on those nights.
I also don't see any mention of that membership bullshit they introduced to get around the law changing in 2017 banning flat-rate.
Bottom line is it seems to be just a regular swingers club now where you just have to get lucky with whatever females or couples turn up.

If so, what's the reason behind that? I mean the place is operating almost normally, with safety measures in place. Visitors are coming and money is flowing. Why wouldn't house girls join anymore? They bring more customers in so it makes financial sense to have them more than just on Saturday. Or am I wrong?

Looking at their webpage, it seems that Insomnia are back to normal with their weekly parties, in all categories. They clearly mentioned in their news page the following:
"Since of April 1, 2022, we may once again welcome allguests regardless of vaccination status.
We no longer require any tests, but ask that you test / have tested yourself on your own responsibility and especially if you have symptoms.
Masks are a thing of the past.
For your safety, we have set up various mobile air purifiers equipped with HEPA 14 filters and disinfecting UV-see radiation."
