SubCmdr, I sort of feel the same way as you (God help me) on the issue of LT vs ST. My personal preference is actually for what I call modified ST which means anywhere from 2 to 7 hours (no sleep overs / no clock watching, multiple shags, dinner, hanging out and relaxing with my girl over a bottle of red wine, tequila or weed) depending on how much I like a girl. I was allowed a 30 day stay under a visa exemption with the opportunity to request an additional 30 days visa extension of the visa that I never received on arrival. All very confusing to me.
But Delta was very insistent that I have a visa because I had booked my flight to leave within 60 days of my arrival. It took a major effort and running up several layers of management. But acknowledging on the record that I could be refused entry and all expenses would be on me.
When I arrived I was not asked anything by the IO. Now, I know a lot of posters up in here would have been a lot happier had I been refused entry to Thailand. How unfortunate for them. LOL!

In Pattaya you do not have to show flight info.

Will they or will they not ask, that is the question. Let's start with the airline. This is an easy answer. Call them and ask them their policy. Then act accordingly. That may mean you buying a cheap throw away ticket to Cambodia for example. For immigration, they will check your previous travel history, age, appearance and consider the way you talk. As there is now no limit by air, land or sea on how many times you can enter in one year by visa exemption, it's all up to the discretion of the officer now.

I could have spent half the day at that shopping mall out in Laksi like I did last year for a 30 day extension instead (it had a decent gym where I could wait, so wasn't too bad, though not a great way to spend the day), but this time I decided to use it as an opportunity to be a sextourist in Jakarta for a few days instead. I don't eat caviar so I felt it was a waste to book that package. I think the branch at The Sense Pinklao is less expensive. If you want to book the one at Gaysorn Amarin, you usually have to book a few days in advance especially for the weekends.
If you want a less expensive option that is pretty good, you can try Wisdom International Buffet at a one of their branches close by at Siam Paragon or Siam Square One.

But you can use any phone number to create a new line. Understand? It's not rocket science mate. I said create a new line account. Forget about your old one and forget about transferring. Its so easy. JUST CREATE A NEW ACCOUNT. Look at the screen shots from my iPhone. You just create new account. If you do this even though you already have one with the same number, it will delete the old account automatically and create a new one with the same number. But imagine flying business on an airline like Singapore, emirates, qatar, etc. Just once in my life before I shuffle away from my idiot mortal coil. But everytime I look at the flights on kayak or google, me thinks to me self, well now. For that 3 grand more, imagine how many chicks I could bang. Imagine the hotel room upgrade I could get. Like, put it this way, 30 hours of luxury which includes the use of the business lounge, etc. Versus using that money to go from just a standard room in a nice hotel to say a kick ass suite in the same hotel. Or just use that money to bang more chicks. Or to add more days to the same trip.
At my old age now, I try to fly premium economy when I can, it does make a huge difference on my ass cheeks. Now at my advanced age, it only lasts for about 12 to 24 hours. I do the same thing as Thampi62, start with 20 mg and then 10 mg more on a daily basis. Regarding the nasty side effects, for me they diminish after a few days of daily use.

The side effects were pretty bad (intestinal pain and discomfort) and lasted 1 or 2 more days after I stopped taking the pill. It seems it's a common side effect of the molecule (among others).
In my experience, the effectiveness was not better than Sildenafil (prior to this attempt I was taking less than half a 100 MG Sildenafil pill). The effect didn't last longer than Sildenafil too, so I never took it again.

My routine is two sessions in a day. I never had any problem with my erection except sometimes I can't finish. If you are younger 10 MG everyday will also be a good option.

Wrong. I have 2 iPhones and one iPad. Each device uses the same Apple ID but each device has a different line account. Each with its own number. Step 1 delete the line App and download it again. Step 2, create new account with your phone number that you still use and can get an SMS on. Step 3 fill in the info. Your problem is you want to get access to your old line and you can't. But you can use any phone number to create a new line. Understand? It's not rocket science mate. I said create a new line account. Forget about your old one and forget about transferring. Its so easy. JUST CREATE A NEW ACCOUNT. Look at the screen shots from my iPhone. You just create new account. If you do this even though you already have one with the same number, it will delete the old account automatically and create a new one with the same number. The new account creation only asks for phone number and not Apple ID. Apple ID is only used to download the app. No need to register email with line unless you want to. Guess what, if you register email then you can access the old line in problems like yours, but dont care about that now. Just create new line account. Depending on your size me 5'7 I don't have a problem even when seat is drop back in front. Whenever I buy I also pick and select my seat if you do use Eva, the beginning of economy the first few rolls there is suppose to be more leg room reason if you pick seats the charge is higher but by naked eye I can't see the difference to pay the extra.
Prior to covid I was offered upgrade to Pre I decline the seats padding legs push against the back area of my legs that made it very uncomfortable then the head phones press against my ears giving me headache.
Last few trips home I've booked their afternoon flight gets me in a 11 pm, by 1 am I'm checked in to a hotel in Nana Area and out and about.
2022, July when Thailand open I got a great price on Phillippine 25,000 baht never again! Crazy security check going to USA.
2023, I booked on Japan I had thought they ended service to SFO years ago but Eva had just started up and their prices were out of whack. On Expedia 31,000 baht with seats and notice premium was much cheaper their schedule to SFO was very close to Eva. Though service eas very good.

Thought I'd share what happened to me a couple of months ago as I switched planes in Taipei en route to BKK. I know many on here take EVA through Taipei so just a PSA for some of you.
Got off EVA plane. As I entered the "quick" security to get on to another EVA plane I noticed a big sign. The sign had a drawing of a electric shaver and a fan with a line through them indicating that electric shavers and fans are not allowed through. I knew I had a small fan on me but I left it in my backpack not knowing at the time why I can't carry an electric fan. My bag is pulled to the side where I'm called over to watch them dig out my fan. The dick security person says "you know it's illegal to bring a fan in to Taiwan" (pretty sure it's not illegal it's just his bad English). I said no. He then pointed to the huge sign and rudely says "didn't you see the sign? I said I'm tired from my flight so no. He tells me I am trying to carry a lithium battery on a flight and I can go to jail for that. I hadn't even considered my tiny hand held fan even had a lithium battery! He then went on to say with huge attitude they are professionals and I am dumb to think I can sneak a lithium battery on to a flight. This fan has been with me over 20 years and possibly went through that same check point 20 times! I guess those carrying electric shavers will run into the same issue from these "professionals".
Again, only a PSA for those who may pack an electric shaver or fan on their carry on bags going through the Taipei check point. Guess we're to pack them in checked baggage?Just got back from Thailand and flew EVA air through Taipei. Going through Taipei was no problem because they did not make transfers go through security. Coming back I did have to go through security and the sign BB described is still there. Thanks to his warning I had purchased a Norelco electric shaver that runs on AA batteries. So I had no problems with security. The shaver worked well and went three weeks on a single set of batteries. Thanks BB.

But in the USA Eva, they ask you if you have them in your check in I not know the answer as to know what would happen if I say Yes, so it isn't just carry on.

At the stop in TPE, there was no security check. So, nobody cares about the 40 lithium batteries I was carrying, or my Bluetooth speaker which uses lithium batteries.
The first leg I flew in PE. It seemed very similar to Economy, but I was able to sleep 7 hours of the 13 hour flight.
The second leg was only 4 hours, and I was in Economy, but in an Exit row. For a short flight, it was okay.
Bottom line: I was pretty functional the first night in Pattaya, but slept only 6 hours. Last night I slept 12 hours, and feel fine now.
Flying a red-eye LAX-BKK is the way to go.

I've flown both economy and premium economy on 3 different airlines (Delta, Cathay Pacific, and Lufthansa). The economy and premium economy services are about the same, but the seats are definitely different (wider, more pitch, more recline). I'm tall and the PE passenger in front of me can recline fully without causing me any problem at all. IMHO, PE is much better than economy, but don't expect it to be even close to business class, those are different worlds.

I'm wa ting more protein and less rice.There are a couple of low cost chain restaurants with several locations around Bangkok that are fine and at least claim to offer healthier choices. I don't know if they are in Pattaya too but they probably are.
One is called Get Fresh and the closest location to the Nana Plaza / Soi Cowboy lower Sukhumvit area is in the Terminal 21 mall at the corner of Sukhumvit and Asoke. Not sure exactly which level but one of the upper levels, maybe the same as the food hall level.
The other one is called Salad Factory and the nearest location to the Nana Plaza / Soi Cowboy lower Sukhumvit area is also in the above Terminal 21 Mall but on the bottom floor (below the ground floor). They offer much more than just salad; beef steak, chicken, fish, pork, pasta, pizza, etc.
I eat at Salad Factory fairly often. Their Caesar Salad with grilled chicken (I add bacon) is awesome.
However, as you can see by my addition of bacon that I am not exactly determined to eat as healthy as you might be.
The other issue is I honestly have no idea how healthy the food is in those places, only that they "claim" to offer healthier fare.
My assessment is if it tastes really good as that Salad Factory Caesar Salad does, it is probably not all that healthy and is loaded with stuff true health nuts try to avoid. Most healthy food does not taste very good.

I thought I add some content here about prices. It was not long ago that 1000 baht was the norm on soi 6. Lets take 2017 and look at the thai CPI.

In 2017 January it was 98.15. In January 2024 its is 106.98. 107/98= 1. 09. So in generall almost a 10% price increase. In the same time the prices on soi 6 has increased with 100 %. But that is for tourists. Not for locals. It used to be cheaper in Pattaya but then they got more and more into the thing of having higher prices for tourists. So don't give me any of this bullshit about "don't expect to pay same as locals blah blah blah".

Back then we had bars with 6-10 isan ladies from very poor backgrounds, non-existent social media and only westerners (mostly old men) would venture in that Soi. It was 1000 b (or less) take it or leave it, and they were lucky if the customer bought them a couple drinks before going up.
Now the bars are swarming with 20+ ladies who already have the newest iPhone before arriving to work, who often have a very big social media following (sometimes OF on the side), and hundreds of Asian customers (especially Koreans) who have never bought less than 5 drinks at a time. Apart from that, I second EihTooms's salad recommendation. Myself I much prefer the Get Fresh chain to Salad factory (eaten at the latter once or twice, and more times than I remember at the former. Get their card if you're staying for a while for an effective 10% discount). There's also a very good salad shop a 20 minute walk down Soi 21, roughly opposite of the SWU university, near Tim Horton's, though the name escapes me at the moment. Couple either of them with some fish or meat.
In addition to that, the various food courts at the shopping malls. A zillion choices for cheap meat and vegetables. Pick and choose. Even the one at the sub-top floor of Terminal 21 is fine, if you get there at a time when it's not overflowing with noisy Chinese, though you will have a much better experience at the food hall at the bottom floor of Emquartier (a bit more expensive also however).
Last resort is just buy some readymade fish or chicken at the supermarket (e. G. , Tops) and eat it in your room if you can stand the smell, but it's been laying there the whole day and while I've never gotten sick from it, it doesn't taste particularly good either.

I thought I add some content here about prices. It was not long ago that 1000 baht was the norm on soi 6. Lets take 2017 and look at the thai CPI.

In 2017 January it was 98.15. In January 2024 its is 106.98. 107/98= 1. 09. So in generall almost a 10% price increase. In the same time the prices on soi 6 has increased with 100 %. But that is for tourists. Not for locals. It used to be cheaper in Pattaya but then they got more and more into the thing of having higher prices for tourists. So don't give me any of this bullshit about "don't expect to pay same as locals blah blah blah".

One of the drawbacks of living in Thailand for 5+ years is watching bargirls age out.

It is difficult to give a direct price comparison because each area is a different environment with a different number of options. If trying to compare equal girl beauty, services, and price:
