I decided to try Sun Regent spa one day last week. Late in the afternoon and I had actually started out for Biota spa, which is on the same street, but passed it by.
The shop looks like a beauty parlor from the outside and I thought I had made a mistake. (You can see the actual shop by using the google map satellite view feature and you will see a hair and foot massage shop, the previous tenant.) There was only one young lady, who was very nervous. Not bad looking, cute, borderline pretty, and I thought I would take a shot. Then there was lots of hassle about the price of a massage, with a guy on the telephone telling me it was 5 k and TTG saying goodbye. More back and forth and an offer of "only 1 hour" for "only" 3 k. I bitched some more and finally said ok, because the girl said "please".
And then they wrote down my (fake) name in the book and marked 3,000 in a ledger filled with Rs. 1,500 entries. I take some (but little) satisfaction that one other guy also had 3,000 next to his name.
The rooms -- think there were four, maybe 3-- are actually cubicles in a cluster behind the main room of the shop and accessible only through another door that leads through a room with a sofa. I can't imagine actually waiting in that room for a cubicle to open up.
There is one washroom to serve all the cubicles. AC was not working, only fans. TTG had a wash and returned to the cubicle where the young lady was waiting, still obviously nervous. We had a quick discussion about my interest in extras and my lack of interest in an actual massage. We made a deal with a base "tip" and a promise of a performance bonus. The girl seems inexperienced but was eager to please and took instruction well, so I had a satisfactory conclusion.
WIR? Maybe but likely not. The rooms / cubicles need some attention. The masseuse was fine but may options are available elsewhere. Sun Regent at No. 19, Walukarama Road.
I never miss having a Spa Ceylon foot treatment each time I visit Sri Lanka because I enjoy it so much. I either go to park mews or the Dutch Hospital branch and for the first time I visited "White" which was a real disappointment. Even though we booked for 3 pm they took us in at 3.35 pm and didn't actually start till 3. 40 pm and then they come with half the stuff and have to go again to get it. All this does not give the client the 1 hour that is paid for. Rs 3000. Also if you happen to fall asleep the masseur relaxes.
Absolutely disappointing. Will go back to my original haunts.

If locals charge this high thais extras wud be costlier. Now I wouldn't want to visit this. No point of spending this amt of hard earned money without good service.
I think we should not visit these kinda spas. Any advice from seniors.Fully endorse. We should boycott this type of places and I was a strong supporter of boycotting JH too. Our desperate desires are the oxygen to these money mongers. If we all collectively avoid these places and name them here they will have a slow death. Who would want a HJ for 3 to 5 k? RIDICULOUS.

I went to A*a at de fonseka road today noon. There were only two girls and one was busy. So I had to go with a girl called Di*I*I. She was very fair, short with a pretty face. Anyways I paid 1 k for a 1 HR foot, head and shoulder massage and for those who don't know, you have to take your shirt off the the shoulder massage in public. This place has reclining couches partitioned by boards which are no higher than chest height of an average man. I was quite embarrassed by the fact that every time another customer moved in / out, everything happening in my cubicle was visible to them. And the bloody tuk driver types really do love to stare.
The place is packed with CCTV cameras and I don't think there is any change of any extras what so ever. Basically her massaging skills were very weak as well and I came out more grumpy and more stressed out than I went in. Had to pay a late night visit to De Fonseka place afterwards (report in my previous post) just to finish myself off and feel better.

I have been a lurker for awhile but thought to share my recent experiences with my fellow mongers and buy a subscription.
De Fon* Pla* Spa: Took the short fair girl. Overall cost me 5 k for a massage and HJ. She was really friendly and her services were good value for money. Even though I am Sri Lankan, I look from an arab country, so she was down to get to business. She was also willing to come out if the price was reasonable.
J*na: My regular go to place. I visit once a month and like said previously, the services have gone down considerably but we really don't have a lot of option do we? Check out room 4 & 9, they are definitely the best of the lot if you like slim and young.
Spa near V*a Rd: not worth the money at all. Paid 2 k entrance and another 3 k for a HJ. They have about 3 Thai and 4 SL girls. The massage was very mechanical.
Ocean V* Only Thai available. The girls are pretty but charges are higher. Cost me 6 K for entrance and another 5 k for a HJ.
S*and Hi* : They have upgraded the place. Has CCTV cameras all over. Has a nice selection of SL girls. Not the most clean place but if you are on a budget, not a place to go.
These days, I resort to a contact who sets me up with the girls, don't mind sharing if you do the same. He is a Tuk driver but has some decent contacts.

After that I stopped going.

Time: 10 pm.
It's an interesting set up with usually 3 cute girls. They start the massage very legitimately and take their time. As long as you are a little quiet, which I usually am, they will start teasing you. Just had a session at cin*Mon. Spa in Kolpetty. Entrance is 3 k at the front. Saw a sexy girl named D*u. Asked for a feeling massage and she obliged. Access to top and bottom are available. The place has big rooms and has separate bathrooms for each client which is a plus. Rooms are clean and since it is inside a private road, no one can see.
I was impressed with the place. Will definitely be visiting again. Tip was 1 k.

Always keep a rubber handy, because you will never know what sort of unexpected chances you might get. I too agree that one should not visit MP after 7 pm or so, as my good fellow monger pointed out, the girls are exhausted, so you won't get much out of them. The owner is a nut case and he will tell anything to get the business running. FS is not openly on the menu, but one should be able to sweet talk or charm his way to it. When I called the place the girls said "appointments only" which means no one will suddenly open the door when your are having the 5 K package. Anyway I booked an appointment at 8. 30 pm And left the office. As I Reached there it was around 8 and called to see if I can advance my booking. They said no and there is a customer. As I passed the please I saw a RED Prius parked in front. I waited till 8.30 and they didn't answer. Long story short I was taken in at 9.45. I want inside the place smelled really good. I had head and shoulder for half an hour. The therapist was dark chubby one with straight hair. Had a chit cat and she gave a tease to see how I will react. I act like nothing just to gain their trust. After the session she said to come again. I said OK and tip her 500 total damage was 1. 5 K.
I was in a mood to try out other footspas.
I went to one in Pagoda rod called Fair and Care that smelled like shit and want to Footcomfort and didn't like it either. Planing to visit the first spa soon.

Visited the place on Friday. Only two, below average girls were available. Seedy place. Will not visit again. Entrance fee - 1000. Girl never demanded a tip. Only HJ.
Was bored and visited the place. Entrance is 1.5 k. Only two were available for selection and another was busy. Selected the skinny girl called Madhu. Chipboard partitions with with curtains to cover the doorway. The curtains were flying around with the wind. This was a bit of a turn off. The girls never try to close these fully which is bad. I saw a guy fully naked on the bed with his flagpole high in air.
After the getting on the bed the girl did an average massage. She said that she'll give feeling with nose and HJ with top bottom access for 3 k. I told her that I don't carry money in to Unknown places. She said that I can pay through card. I negotiated it down do 1000. Shot the load and came out. The girls here are money oriented.

She gives me feeling massage while I do the shake. And afterwards she takes over, muttering that there is no time left. Shake over. I get dressed and leave. 40 minutes.

At the start / corner of Alfred House Avenue you have Clock Inn on left side. On the other side corner there is a travel agent shop. The Spa is next to the travel shop on Alfred House Avenue. You can just about see it standing in front of Cargills bank entrance. Spa is tucked away next to the travel shop.
The name (from what I can make out on google street view) is: Herbal Spa Center.
By the way, is there a sticky (sorry, bad choice of word) post with a list of 'places to avoid'? It's just that I scrolled through all the posts back to February 2017 only, because I thought as you go further back, the spa's (how it's run) can change and the therapist can come / go. Probably should have gone through all posts at least to the start of 2016.

This may the same folks who ran the Lawanya spa in Battaramulla. I reported on this about a year ago. There was a lady doctor there. I asked her about the femdom treatment. She said (in Sinhala) "That is for mentally deranged people. " I think the charge was about 4500 for femdom. I opted for a normal massage at 1500. There was a fairly nice girl who gave a good massage and HJ. The femdom lady hadn't arrived yet that morniing.

It's been a long time since a I posted a report. I'm hoping to upload as much as I can today.
This visit was one week before the raid of shadoo spa at diyatha uyana. Visited there and only 2 were available. One was chubby and other one was small built cute girl. So opted the little girl. She was 22 years old and I think it was true. Both wearing red one piece thight skirts. Massage was average. Though I convinced her I had visited them several times in the past, I only got top access. Girl was very friendly. While massaging she started talking with the girl in the next cubicle. These things happened long time ago as it was in last year.

Hi guys,
If you are travelling from Kohuwala take a left turn from the pepiliyana Junction. About 100 m inside the road you will find a curd shop. The spa is on the First Floor. I dropped in without any appointment. Asked if a thai massage was possible and a guy who was chewing betel leaf (I think) asked for 4 k. Gave him the amount and had to consult a doctor. Not sure if he is a SAITM doc or a GMOA doc but he asked me if I had any body issues. I just tried their mobile and the guy who answered said that they have moved to Mal-garden road in Kohuwala. Asked if the same line up and he said yes. Went there and there were 3, and 2 were from previous location. New guy at reception.
They have jacked up the entrance price to 2 k and girls here anyway had their fixed rate of 1.5 k before, now its 2 k for top and 3 k for top-bottom access. At least previously the girls used to give a good massage and a service to make your money worth. Quite a few used to do DFK and a good feeling with some feeling. They also used to use up the full hour. This visit was the complete opposite! Very mechanical, in a hurry and just after the tip! Don't know if my selection was wrong but the vibe I got was that this is the new norm! If so, not worth at all!

However thanks to very few generous seniors I often make my once in a month visit to Colombo very fruitful.
For a all inclusive foot spa, we had only the one operated by the lady code named as "half-Japanese" back then. (She still does it).
But the one I was recently introduced was a real foot spa place located not much far to the Japanese one.
If you walk into this place without a into, you will just get a normal foot massage by one of 4/5 girls available but if you get the proper intro, you can have the maximum pleasure possible from any of the girl or more on your choice.
The fun part is they do not have rooms or cubicles but just the popular reclining foot spa chairs. When you select a girl, others will go into a small room inside the shop until you finish the business. They also lock the main entrance as to show they are "closed".

This is a new place, just off Duplication Road. Opposite Mahanama College there is a branch of Seylan Bank, and this place is in the same building, behind the bank. If you step on to the side road adjoining the bank, you can see the open doorway.

Also, when I entered the MP, time was 3 pm, when I left 3:40 pm. So really the actual massage was about 25 minutes. Shake was 5 minutes, getting undressed / dressed and showering 10 minutes. I would have just gone for massage only for 1 HR, but the therapist stopped after about 30-35 minutes and said "that's it, are you taking the shake". When I said I'll take 1 HR massage only. She says "times up, although it's 1 HR we only massage for 45 minutes."
So, I'm wondering, If we tell the therapist, right at the beginning, "no shake", do they massage for 1 HR?

From the report it might seem that this was a one-off incident which occurred in the late evening when the doctor had gone off duty. Mongers going to this place expecting FS are likely to be disappointed.
