I had a long chat with someone who handles visas. In the medical tests, they test for TB and AIDS. If you are +ve for TB, then depending on the stage it is at they will give you time to take the medication and come back for the test in a few months. If you are +ve for AIDS, you are directly thrown in the slammer when you go to collect your report and will be deported at the earliest flight. There is no discussion or time frame.

Moral of the story, stick to your job and be capped always! I am going to recommend that HR mention this to new recruits. It is the best retention tool we are going to get!

I have always been intrigued by the blue tooth related mating rituals of the arab guys. They constantly are at it, in Sheesha bars, in coffee shops, the more "arab" the place the more blue toothing is done. Since all the typing is in arabic, have not followed it at all.

In certain Gulf countries, it is common for the patriarch of the family to maintain a second home and wife in Marrakesh for the entire summer. The "wedding" lasts for 2-3 months. But the house is maintained for the entire year and there is a guy who does the match making. This is a really phenomenal way to spend a vacation. I have been a part of this a few times and can vouch that it is probably the best experience that you will have. The "wife" invites many of her friends over who are available at the villa. Basically, it is a sex vacation but can't hve anything in the public areas. The villa is also at the disposal of friends when the owner is not using it. Regular rules of being a house guest apply. Keep it clean, keep it stocked, keep your head down and say your thank yous in more than just words.

A more recent variant is to maintain a apartment in Beirut, which has been flooded with Syrian refugees. Before the war, have met with Syrian girls and they are really good. I find this quite exploitative but there is another school of thought which says that this at least provides them with a decent income. I am not convinced with that.

The top of the line approach is to have a very very expensive (USD 3000 per month) marriage arranger in Dubai. She does match making for long term basis. She has a stable of non-pro American / European girls with whom you are expected to develop a relationship over a week or so and then invite them over to Dubai for a period of 1-6 months. All travel of the girls and stay has to be paid for by you and additionally there is an monthly allowance for her.
