I presume the towels are the same plain blue ones they have had for years?
I could understand lots of towels being souvenired if they had a swank "Globe" or "Imperium" monogram on them. Where I live a world famous golf club had problems with towels disappearing from the locker room because they were emblazened with the club's initials and logo. They solved the problem by changing to plain white ones.
The Globe girls must be reading our complaints and thinking "welcome to our Globe experience" with all the petty rules & fines.Power prices are through the roof in Europe (thanks to French nuclear player EDF which had to shut down a number of reactors and the Russians not pumping as much gas) and so my guess is that Ingo's electricity bills have gone up substantially. I always use either Motel One which is opposite Aphrodisia or CitizenM which is in the city centre close to the Hbf. Both are excellent especially CitizenM but they don't have a pool or sauna. I usually fly in from the UK so it's only a 90 minute flight! I miss the Swissotel too.
