I just wrapped up my 4 day trip in Bangkok.

The forum has wealth of knowledge so I followed and got premium 2 days before my arrival.

I had my pictures and age display. Clearly told I am looking for fun.

But truth be told I've been invested heavily since the late 90's and I've been through quite a few crashes. It sucks, but it always comes back. The nature of the market overall is upwards. I think one sportfolio needs to be able to withstand a 20% hickey which can come at any time.

People on here often ask how much do you need to live in Thailand? Well of course that depends on your lifestyle, how old you are, and whether you have social security or not.

I would say if a person's going to pocket 2 K or so in social security then having about 750 k invested with a very good conservative financial advisor is plenty. Pull 4% annually or in a pinch 5% and you should be good.

Without that social security cushion I would double that amount to 1. 5 million. Pulling 4% of that would give you an unbelievable lifestyle in Thailand.
And as I stated above, get a good conservative financial advisor. Don't do it yourself. Most advisors take 1% a year which really isn't much. And choose an independent not one affiliated with a large brokerage house.

Now it seems posts with guys experiences, where part of the experience is what I'd consider bad behaviour on the guy's part, are also deleted.

Not necessarily expecting anyone to change his behaviour, but if a guy gets 10 replies saying he was being an ass, he might give a second thought to it. Others too. Sorry, but I have to totally disagree with you in regard to TF being a waste of time for people visiting short-term, tourists etc.

My visits for work to BKK are only ever 2-4 days at a time. TF has been my go to APP for 1.5 years now after being negative about it the first time like you.

On my last trip for example (3-4 days), I built up 100 contacts who all contacted me or 'showed interest' , most of them FL's. But on 2 of the 3 night stay I hooked up with so called 'amateur's' on TF for very raunchy horny fuck sessions. It was easy to do and neither of them called themselves FL's both had normal jobs.

Some of us here aren't meatheads on holiday, we have a job and making a living. To do so, we need to work, put on a suit and have meetings (yes, when dealing at a certain level, there is no such thing as "weekends".

There are many freelancers in Thailand

From my experience, short time on Soi 6 ranges from 1000 Baht to 2000 Baht plus the cost of the room. As for beach road, I have no experience, but I've read on the forum that it's around 1000 baht, some claim they've been able to pay 800 Baht and even as low as 500 Baht. My actual experiences on Beach Road differ.

There are there tiers of fees the girls ask for 1000 THB, 1500 THB, 2000 THB. During my time on Beach Road I have never found a girl willing to take 800 THB for Short Time. Never! If you are really looking for a bargain stick with Thai Friendly 500 - 800 THB can be found there on occasion and remember this is low season right now. Now it has been more than a quick minute since I hired a Prostitute off of Beach Road.
