These fireworks are aimed at kids who don't have a lot of baht. I have met several missing arms from "accidents". Do not have anything to do with them. If you see people with them, walk away quickly. They are lethal.

I told him they were half off because they only had 2 days before expiration, but you can probably freeze them. He said thank you, but was too slow. I reached past him and grabbed both of the grilled cheese sandwiches that were discounted. The rest that was in the cooler were at full price. He looked at me baffled. Then, I saw my favorite CP Shrimp burgers (which are very difficult to find at most 7-11's). I turn to him and told him these were yummy as well. "Hey Mister, this is also a good choice too. " Gave him a sec to digest that. And then, I proceeded to take and buy all CP Shrimp burgers that was on the shelf. He took too long. This reminded me of the whole Monkeypaw and the Go Go bar girls thing. Went home, and wonder who was that guy and did that guy get upset?
P.S. Anybody knows why Villa Market always two prices for the same items in diff parts of the same store? Is this another Thailand scam?
Today was first day of reopening of the malls. Central Festival had plenty of people, lots of window shoppers, but very few bought anything. Only about 70% of the store were open. 90% of the entire top floor of restaurants were closed and air conditioning was sporadic. To gain entry into the mall itself, you were required to scan QR code to an app or website for tracking. Odd thing is that you were required to do so again once you entered in certain retail shops, while others you were not. I'm thinking they are tracking the money and where it's being spent and using COVID-19 and an excuse. The country and the world is in a recession, the mall is a very expensive place to be during these times, especially for the Thais in Pattaya. Mall business was already bad before the lockdown, just the same as Walking Street, today was just out of excitement I believe. When restaurants were allowed to open, they had a rush. Mr. E was one of the lucky guy who was able to grab a seat at the patio of Prime Burger on Buakhao on its first few days of reopening. Now the patio is pretty much empty. Inside the restaurants at Central, the whole dining out experience was gone. Most restaurants were empty. Buffets closed. Coffee shops and ice cream shops, no sitting down and to go. The one with the moving belt full of hot pot items on plates, were sit far apart, no getting up and order from a menu like a normal sit down restaurant. It was so somber. Waiters acted like police, "no can't do this, no can't do that. " Minimal talking due to spread worries, screens separating people across from one another, and of course no loitering. You are expected to come in order, wait longer for food because staff shortages, eat, then pay your bill and leave. Reminds me of a bad experience with a mechanical starfish from agogo or something. How long will this last in Pattaya because guess what? Rent is still due and the experience or joy of dining out is pretty much gone at Central Festival.
On the way back, I saw the floor manager of Baccara. He used to be in charge of the male staff at Baccara and allowed me or those with me to take photos in the club. He is now selling meat skewers from a cart next the Bronx Pizza by the Slice on Buakhao (near LK Metro).

First you need the massage shops, bars and clubs to reopen. When and how this happens is anybody's guess but my gut tells me it's going to be slow, gradual, with seriously regulated limited opening and closing times. Maybe even with some cocked up social distancing guidelines inside although how that could work in a go go is beyond me. I chuckle imagining the girls mincing around the poles butt naked wearing only a mask and heels. Personally I love that eyes only look so could be a turn on. SNIP These places and Walking Street were opened prior to lockdown, but staff and customers was reduced by about 70-80% and many bars and clubs were already closed voluntarily by the owners. Only Billboard in BKK and Pin Up in Pattaya seemed to be doing okay prior to the lockdown. Even as of today, the government has allowed many or most places to open, but they still remain closed. So it goes back to the old aged question of chicken or the egg first, where is the supply, where is the demand? Regular tourism first before sex tourism (because Pattaya "Is not" Angeles City nor will the government ever allow it to be like AC). Food hand out lines daily that stretches blocks like a scene out of the great depression. Opening up venues that causes a country's money to be funneled through needless things like movies, bars, clubs, and massages while the rest of the country needs it appropriated elsewhere. Imagine you are a parent trying to control your family and kids spending during a time of hardship like this and you will understand more. When will international flights be allowed in and from what countries? When will other countries open their borders and airports? Basically, "walk backwards" the timeline that got Thailand where it is today, but with 3 super huge biggies that isn't going away anytime soon.

2. a world-wide recession with a possibility of a depression.
3. and a failing USA economy battling a rebuilding China economy (choose a side carefully).
To be honest, with regards to Thailand, it had little to do with the health of the people. Research HIV and AIDS in Thailand or how many thousands died of TB last year in this country. If it makes money for the government, such as sex, prescription drugs on the street, counterfeit items, pornography, cannabis, alcohol and tobacco, Thailand will overlook it, even though the laws state otherwise. So this leads me to seriously believe this Coronavirus closure crap was due to the fear and exodus of tourists. The truth is, there were no customers on Walking Street. And the bars and clubs were not making any revenue with too many expenses including staff, police, and government payoffs, so they had to be shut down. No tourist groups renting jet skis, buying seafood, parachuting, or renting beach chairs, then the beaches stay shut down. Because the locals will just bring their own food and mats and leave a huge mess. But of course, the government will say "closure is to prevent spread of COVID-19. " People need to wake up and realize what it's always been about. Cash, it's what's for dinner.

I haven't been to Pattaya in months, so I don't know how realistic it would be to think many guys would give her as much as, say, 3,000 baht for ST very often. Plus barfine and a couple of drinks? Might be a stretch. Occassionally, maybe. With certain customers. But regularly and often?
She looks good. Maybe 500 baht more than 1,500 baht max for an upfront agreement to provide a True GFE/Real Sex. Of course, in my situation, if she said No to an upfront agreement for that, I'd have to walk away anyway even for 1,000 baht all in.

This is why at grocers like Villa, Tops, Foodland, Big see, Lotus even the hardware stores like Homepro you will find similar. They just stocked stuff it in although they might be overlapped forget to remove the price labels. How many times you think you are getting one price and then check out it is different not being cheap that is why I take the time to check the prices when they ring it up.
I buy popcorn at 7/11 the one that says " New York " 18 baht, the other day I was at Tops (Khao Noi) I saw the same popcorn slightly bigger bag 89 baht. I took the bag up to customer service counter ask the lady why is this item 89 baht when it is only 18 baht at 7/11, she stared at me the stare that they give under their breath they are saying " fucking know it all Farang who is he to question us this is Thailand look " She says it's from America! I showed her the bag yes it says New York but it isn't from New York it means New York style made in Thailand!
Rarely from my shopping experience, it is done intentionally what is intentional is if you don't know prices you see ads 50% plus off what they have done is raise it 50% and then give you 50% off I see it daily. You get those buy 2 and get one free stuff, you think you are getting something but you are just buying one more you don't really need and getting an extra that you don't need either.

Maybe they gave me some discounts in the days following membership, then switched off all discounts.
Whatever, one thing that amazes me most when I'm back in Europe is how cheap shopping for food in Europe is compared to Thailand. In Europe I can fill a shopping cart to the brim with 50 euros. In TH the same amount will get me little. Of course I shouldn't be buying imported stuff in TH, right? But what is there to buy in a supermarket that is worth buying and produced in Thailand? Rice and chicken? TH has the strongest currency in Asia and is still imposing punitive custom duties on imported basic food. Macadam nuts FROM AUSTRALIA 4x more expensive in TH than in Europe. Avocados the price of beef. Dairy products a luxury item.
Luckily, eating out in TH is cheap.

They make can make Whoopi Goldgberg or Kim McGuire look hot. If you don't know who they these two women are please Google them. So these are my steps in snagging online girls.
1. Go with what they give you initially, even if it's only 1 pic on their profile. If you like it, go to step 2.
2. Look at the height weight. I have a max of 49 kilos (and that's for taller girls) and 29 years of age on my TF search standards. It's because I know they deflate those numbers. Typically, I'm around the 40-46 kilo range with 20-25 year olds. But when in doubt, go back to step 1 and look at those pics and compare what they list. If it's consistent with what my experiences have been and match the body types from what I know, go step 3.
3. Throw out a fair number 1500 is my norm or give them their asking price. This will get you to step 4.

Love your work. The bar scene is basically dead in the Philippines so I do 80% of my sourcing from online. Some suggestions:
ALWAYS video chat to confirm looks and intention.
Get makeup and filter free photos (thanks Mr E).
Meet where and when you are doing your daily chores. Don't waste a day sitting waiting for a girl who is a noshow or 4 hours late.
Unfortunately, expect a 1 or 2/10 drop in hotness rating from profile to reality. Of course they pick flattering photos and camera angles and the better they appear, the further they fall.
Referrals can be a godsend as they will know your expectations and pricing.
Don't be afraid to step outside your comfort zone. There are some stellar surprises out there.

Luckily, eating out in TH is cheap.I have a number of cards for places like Big see, Lotus, also one for Tops that is all I can handle all of them are under the misses name I find Lotus to the best for points and getting the final price reduce right before you pay. Big see is a pain in the ass if not in your name they once send me to customer service for a reduction in 40 baht wanted my passport etc. I just said forget it all these questions over 40 baht. Tops, good they reduce right there before you pay many of the items on sale you must be a member to get the discount you see the price on the shelf in Thai that is basically what is telling you. Lotus is the best they have lots of buy 1 get one free and they don't raise the price then discount it. When it comes to points I have no idea if I'm really getting anything I leave that up to the misses to collect if you can at all. There are items that don't provide points I buy a bunch of baby milk powder and pampers and they give you no points.
I guess when you don't actually live here and have a responsibility it is different I've always been a good consumer so when each month you are buying 7-10,000 baht worth of supplies I want to get the best bang for my baht. I rarely buy American brands because of the markup it is just the name if you look on the back it is all printed with Thai words that are pretty much a giveaway. What American products I need I get at Costco and bring it back once or twice a year. Many of the Thai brands aren't too bad nothing you can't live with?
Thai food, tonight is the family night we went to a local place that specializes in frogs, and other items you can't get in town usually? This place is family-owned we had 10 assorted dishes, rice, soup, and two large LEO beer price 1400 baht. Not for everyone you seat outside although tonight was overcast this time of year with Durian in the season there is flies everywhere hard not to smack you face while eating then the mosquitoes but I guess I've been here and the farm so long I've gotten use to it.

Crazy thing is back in April of 2019, Monkeypaw posted on social media, a photo of the oil painting called "Triumph of Death" by Pieter Bruegel the Elder with the below captions, "The end is near. " Historians believe the painting to be a moral statement about the spread of disease, death, and chaos due to the great plagues that had swept through Europe during that era. For awhile now and even way before the first case of COIVID-19, I told many of the folks around me including a few ISG members to travel and do what's left on the bucket list before all this. Is Monkeypaw able to speak the future or is the future spoken through me?
I told them all to come to Thailand for the end of the world. Anybody figure out why Thailand and Pattaya is so COVID-19 free? There is no social distancing, partying continues, masks are unworn, social gatherings everywhere, and rules are constantly being broken. But yet, hospitalizations and infection numbers are null. Nobody is sick. Is it because Monkeypaw is here? Is it that "aura" that follows me wherever I go? I may be home and safe, where I wait patiently and enjoy the rest of time banging girls and getting massages before it kicks off. It's just too bad there is no competition or weekend warriors to mess with. This is too easy.

" Take heed the previous sentence that an even "bigger" change is coming, more so than the change that is already taken place with COVID-19. And don't think of it as the end. It's better you just see it as a new beginning. But even I can't guarantee you a spot in this future.

Drink prices are up at both (and all bars), but barfines have dropped 600/1500 coyote / model at Palace with only 40-50 girls showing up for work. 3. The quarantine is no problem if you plan on staying here awhile.
My thought is that if Thailand lead the world in infections but was still open for travel and mongering, that would have stopped none of us. We are rule breakers from day 1.

In France only the king could speak in the 3rd person (The king says "we want"). It was a little joke with sympathy.
You are absolutely right, and many other painters have represented epidemic plagues like Michel Serre or Jerome Bosch (himself dead from the black plague) in "the last judgment". Europe has, at all times, been ravaged by pandemics which have caused hundreds of millions of deaths such as plagues, cholera, flu or even syphillis. It seems we have forgotten about it now. But contagious diseases don't forget us.
And yes, enjoy life as much as we can. I still hope that I will be able to return to Pattaya before the end of the world, at least before the last judgment because I suppose that we have more fun in Hell than in Paradise.

A bit of perspective. The last numbers I saw the Thais had repatriated about 46,000 citizens of which only around 0. 5% had tested positive. Only returnees with symptoms are tested on arrival. Most are tested in quarantine about 3 days after arrival so that if they have been exposed there has been time for the virus to incubate. A lot of these positives are from people who display no symptoms. The time lag between exposure to the virus and it incubating to a detectable level can sometimes be quite long. Hence the 14 days quarantine.
What will happen when they take away fishing? This is how you will have to hook, line, and sinker. Great way to catch those pesky trolls too.

The association president added that the province's lifting of the mandatory 14-day quarantine period for visitors to Pattaya offered some hope to the tourism sector.Right now Thailand is reporting more new COVID cases than ever before. That seems inconsistent with relaxing the 14 day quarantine anywhere in Thailand.
